There comes a time in your life when you know that the life you have been living is over and you don't have a clue who you are becoming.

The Voice of the Soul

The moment will come when the Soul speaks, the voice of the true Self within.

She is the feminine face of divinity, the knowing of the Heart.

•She will speak in your circumstances that don’t really work for you anymore.

•She will speak through your body with the tensions, pains & wounds it carries.

•She may speak through your depression, addictions, your frustration, your anger & sorrow. •She may speak through your longing & nostalgia for something else, for a home you can’t really find. For a place that seems distant. For that life that you call really call your own.

You may even hear a voice call within, call out your name. Hear bells sounding or ringing or see an inner light— this is the Soul waking up.

She may speak as your own voice or that of another. She will say something like: “It’s time to leave this life”.

This is where you stand at the precipice— the threshold of becoming. It is a bifurcation where very few people really make that decision for the Soul, to live the spiritual life.

And so people remain stuck to repeat another turn on the spiral.

With life repeating the same patterns until the opening appears again one day.

When the planets have turned in their orbits & retuned to the auspicious place to activate Soul awakening.

We have forgotten the language of the Soul.

The wise women who bridge the realm of the Soul & the Earth & her people have been silenced for a long time. Mantic knowing & speech is no longer a role that is allowed. It is seen as bad & mad instead.

The wisdom born of planets turning, spirits calling & visionary dream walking is no more, so the people are cut of from the realm of the Soul. The feminine face of divinity was wiped out long ago & the holy activities of the wise women banned.

Yesterday, my new song, STANDARDS by Crystal Penny (sisters Crystal Wilson Blackmon and Penni Wilson), produced by Ivan Hampden Jr., was featured on Richard Marzetti's Soul Life program on Solar Radio Radio, the UK's #1 music station bringing you soul, jazz, funk, soulful house, R&B, disco and more. A 90s dating experience from years living in San Francisco inspired the lyrics when I discovered how music and the lyrics we listen to shape our thoughts and expectations about love.
