LONG LIVE l Esteban Ocon

(a/n): omg the first installment of the Taylor Swift Collection. I'll admit this one was a bit of a stretch but I just had this idea and needed to get it out! I hope you enjoy it and would love to have your feedback <3

disclaimer: in this au, the reader plays the role Zendaya plays in the franchise.

summary: Esteban Ocon (aka the biggest Spiderman fan, according to himself) tried to bribe his girlfriend, gave her the silent treatment, he called her out during race weekends, but Marvel was just too good keeping their secrets. (actress!reader).

i) I said “remember this moment” in the back of my mind.

July 2018

When Esteban told his friend Lance that after months of liking every post and Instagram story of the actress playing Michelle Jones on the new Spider Man movies, he slid on her DMs in hopes she would answer, Lance laughed.

No, he didn’t laugh, he cackled.

It was July 2017, the first Spider-Man movie in the hands of Marvel Studios had just dropped and was a complete success, and of course Esteban had his team request a copy to the studios so he could host a viewing on his home theatre.

He had avoided spoilers and even movie trailers in order to be surprised, most of his friends teased him about it, but he couldn’t careless, even dedicating that entire night to follow and stalk every cast member on Instagram.

That’s when he noticed the gorgeous actress who played MJ, mysterious and intelligent on screen, and that’s when everything started for him.

He googled her age, visited her Wikipedia page to see her accolades and projects, he even checked her dating history and the rumors surrounding her relationship with Tom Holland, the actor who played Spider-Man.

His life went on, months went by where he silently liked her posts, just as another fan of the series and sequels of his favorite superhero, then he was focusing on the 2018 F1 Season, even as things turned ugly with not only having to worry about performing, but also with trying to keep his seat.

Maybe his Instagram algorithm knew him a little too well when a Marvel fanpage showed on his timeline, announcing filming for the second movie of the Spider-Man sequel was taking place in London and Italy, and between the stress of training, press breathing on his shoulder about his future in Formula 1, he decided to take a risk.

Which takes him to his Canadian friend laughing at him.

He made his way towards the Williams trailer where Lance was getting ready, not really caring that chances were he was going to take his seat at Racing Point, they were friends. That’s why Lance felt so comfortable staring at his friend in disbelief as he couldn’t stop the giggles that just kept coming.

“Esteban, why would you subject yourself to being ignored? She’s from Hollywood, there’s no way she even knows who you are.” Lance tried to reason with his French friend, but Esteban shrugged.

“It doesn’t matter, I know she’s probably not going to see it, but I have nothing to lose. It doesn’t even count as humiliation because we’ll probably never going to meet each other.”

Lance squinted his eyes at his friend. “You can’t have that attitude, dude!”

“But you just laughed on my face!” Esteban argued.

“Yes, because it’s my job as your friend, but at the same time I have to hype you up, you know?” Lance told him, but Esteban suspected he was just being too Canadian. “What did you tell her?”

Esteban sighed and scratched the back of his neck: “If she wanted to attend the British GP since they’re filming there.”

Lance let out a sound of approval. “You know? I think it could work out. Maybe you should find ways to drop how much of a fan of Spider-Man you are during press, you know? Just find a way, and then people will start ‘Oh, this Formula 1 driver is so adorable, he’s such a fanboy’.” The Canadian suggested.

“How did you even think of that?” Esteban asked, but was interrupted by his iPhone going off, his engineer asking him where he was.

He didn’t get to talk with Lance again, just throwing himself on the hotel bed while his eyes were already closing due to stress and jetlag. Forcing himself off the bed to take a shower and then going to bed, checking his phone for one last time.

His verified account worked in a weird way he still wasn’t able to fully grasp, only notifying him when other verified accounts messaged him or followed him.

And that’s what happened.

Hey Esteban! I’m so sorry it’s taken so long to answer but ive been a bit busy.

Attending Silverstone would actually be such a great time, is the invite still up?

The French read and reread the message at least ten times, not knowing if his mind was playing tricks with him, but when he read this notification, he gasped and dialed Lance.

“LANCE!”

ii) I was screaming “long live that look on your face”

(Y/N) thinks that Esteban exaggerated how much of a Spider-Man fan he was. They were officially dating now, so she figured it would eventually play down.

God, was she wrong…

With the 2018 season finally over and Esteban not having a seat for 2019, he leaned heavily on her, even if he knew he was going to be under the wing of Mercedes for the time being, it wasn’t easy.

She saw he was kind of down and with more free time than usual, plus they were still living the sweet first months of their relationship, so she surprised him with a guest pass and paper bracelet to allow him in the premises and set, leaving in on the table of her apartment while waiting for him to arrive for their movie date.

“Bebé, what is this?” He asked once he stepped inside your apartment, an envelope with his name written and an official Marvel stamp on it. He didn’t know what it was, but a grin was already starting to form.

“Hello, Este. How are you? Did you miss me? Because I really missed you.” The actress placed her arms around his waist, shaking as his body trembled with a laugh before he leaned down to leave a caste kiss on her lips.

“Of course I missed you, MJ.” He said and she playfully laughed at his nickname. “So, what is this?” He picked up the envelope.

“It has your name on it, doesn’t it?”

Esteban carefully moved from the embrace of his girlfriend and opened his gift, not even trying to hide the gasp that escaped his lips once he realized what was inside, carefully reading the letter inviting him to set, signed by Kevin Feige and Jon Watts, the director.

“No, bebé… Is this for real?” He said with his accent getting thicker with excitement.

“I think so.” She smiled before he kissed her, literally sweeping her off her feet.

He knew he’d have to keep a low profile, the public not knowing yet about their relationship, the only one he had confided in was Lance, and now people in Mercedes knew, so it wouldn’t be long before the cat was out of the bag, but he was waiting for his girlfriend to feel comfortable to break the little comfy bubble they’d created.

They were in Venice when a black Mercedes picked them up at 4 AM, but he didn’t care. The street was closed and cameras were being placed, people walking all around as if it wasn’t the middle of the night and freezing.

He knew it was cheesy, but the set lit up when she walked in. People greeted her all around, dozens of people and she stopped for each one of them, asking for their families and how was the hotel they were staying at. And the fact that he got to walk hand in hand with her, carefully carrying one of her bags, he was on cloud nine.

But it got better.

A British accent called (Y/N)’s name as they were approaching the luxury trailers parked not so far away from the set installed on the Italian streets. Of course Esteban recognized the accent, holding his girlfriend’s hand a little tighter.

“Tom, this is Esteban, the guy you’ve been hearing so much about.” She said with a playful roll of her eyes, earning a chuckle from the brit as he extended his hand.

“Pleasure to meet you, mate. I saw you during the Austin circuit, it looked sick!”

“I’m a big fan of your work, you’re the best Spider-Man,” Esteban said and his girlfriend just started to realize that maybe it wasn’t a play, he really was a huge fan. “And you’re always welcome on the paddock, just let me know.” Esteban said and Tom thanked him before being called to his trailer, telling the couple that they should go with the rest of the cast and other friends to have dinner.

“So… You’ve been talking a lot about me?” Esteban asked (Y/N), playfully raising his eyebrows and leaving a kiss on her hair.

ACTION!

Esteban eyes followed as Peter Parker walked around the wrecked set, everything was wet and upside down, and he was in awe as he noticed (Y/N) making her way into the scene, questioning her friend if he was fine.

Even if he couldn’t fully comprehend the dialogues or what was happening, his eyes were fixated on her, as she gave his co-star the same caring and sweet eyes that she gave him in real life, and he felt like the luckiest man on earth.

The day was so great that they ignored the few tabloids that picked up the Instagram post of the Holland siblings, the happy couple, and other members of the cast when they went to dinner to a nice small restaurant.

“Are Spider-Man star and F1’s star Esteban Ocon dating? We have the details from inside sources!”

iii) When they gave us our trophies, and we held them up for our town.

Every reporter went crazy when they saw (Y/N) driving a Land Rover with Esteban Ocon as her co-pilot, smiles on their faces as they pretended to ignore the hundreds of flashes capturing their faces through the tinted windows.

They’d been dating for almost two years, but still hadn’t confirmed anything. Of course people knew; everyone involved in F1 and Marvel knew they were official since 2019, and of course their fans were aware they were together after seeing pictures of them together all the time, but no one has managed to capture even the slightest form of PDA between them, which made people still think they were friends… Very close friends.

But there was something about this weekend that made them act more carefree, holding hands when they got out of the car, not caring if paparazzi got low-quality, grainy photos of the showing the tiniest bit of affection.

The actress pecked his lips before he went to his driver’s room to get ready, engineers rapidly approaching him to talk a few things over.

Time flew by and soon she was giving him one last hug and good luck kiss before he got in the car.

“You know, this is pretty dangerous…” Esteban dramatically said, earning a grin from his girlfriend.

“Estie, no.”

“But… I’m your boyfriend. You can trust me!”

“It’s a secret, only a couple more months to go and you’ll watch it. Trust me, you’ll enjoy it more not knowing what’s gonna happen… Plus, I know you’re going to tell Lance whatever I tell you.”

“Is the multiverse theory true?” She was tempted to tell him something, but she always chose against it, having signed too many NDAs.

Just as she was going to answer, Esteban was called to get in the car before the race.

“I love you, Este. Drive safely, okay?” (Y/N) got on her tiptoes and kissed him softly, like it was just the two of them.

“Je t’aime beaucoup, bebé.”

She became accustomed to the roaring of motors, the smell of gasoline and the rush of a pit stop, but that didn’t mean the worried butterflies on her stomach calmed down, she still bit her nails while listening to his radio and watching him overtake his rivals. His parents were the same, eyes not moving from the screen.

But today, it was a different kind of anxiety. She was on the edge of her seat, the fresh coat of nail polish chipped as everyone in the garage started realizing that they were going to win. The first for the team and for Esteban.

She couldn’t stay seated during the last four laps, completely aware that F1 cameras were paying more attention to the Alpine garage, wanting to get the best reactions, and obviously she was there, but she couldn’t care less.

It became real during the last lap, mechanics and engineers running to greet their driver on their maiden win.

Esteban parked the car and got out, jumping right into the awaiting arms of everyone involved, his face was one of pure disbelief, his eyes glassy with unshed tears and shaky hands.

She was holding your phone as his mom and dad went to hug him and congratulate him, wanting to immortalize the moment after so many years and sacrifices. Of course she loved his parents, but she wanted the moment to be over to hug him and congratulate him.

And that’s what happened when he noticed her. He noticed that he didn’t really know how to approach her, knowing cameras were filming their every movement and being broadcasted.

That’s why she took the matters in her own hands. Her hand went to cup his face, his arms found their home on her waist as he lifted her and kissed her. It wasn’t a pretty kiss, they were trying to pour every feeling, knowing words wouldn’t do it justice.

“Babe, I’m so proud of you, congratulations. Shit, I don’t even know what to say!” They laughed and went for another short kiss, people around them cheering.

“You know what a great prize would be?” He asked her, gently placing her back on the ground.

“Not a chance, Estie.”

iv) Long live the walls we crashed through, how the kingdom lights shined just for me and you.

Sadly, Esteban wasn’t afraid to admit he pleaded his girlfriend to show him the new Spider-Man script. He tried to bribe her with silly gifts, gave her the silent treatment. His last resort was to call her out during race weekends.

“Esteban, we are living the last races of the 2021 season and you seem alone, did you girlfriend leave you for Peter Parker yet?” The interviewer asked him laughing, making Esteban smile.

“Yes, she is in the middle of her press tour for the latest movie.”

“I don’t remember many movies creating this level of hype and mystery, do you have any inside details?”

“Don’t even get me started,” Esteban answered, his accent getting thicker. “I don’t know anything, she has kept everything a secret. I’ve pleaded, I even spoke with her co-stars and they told me (Y/N) warned them to not tell me anything! Not even after I offered full-access paddock passes!” Esteban was shooting his last shot to get any information, even if it meant exposing his girlfriend.

“Interesting, Marvel is that good keeping secrets, huh? We hope to see you on the red carpet. Good luck on the race! Esteban Ocon, everybody!”

“You are shameless!” That was the first thing Esteban heard after he picked up the FaceTime call from his girlfriend.

“Oh, you saw it?” He asked her nonchalantly, like it wasn’t a big deal.

“You just have to hang on a couple of weeks and you’ll see it. Babe, I have to be back with the interviews soon, but I was told you can bring a plus one to the premier.”

“Am I not your plus one?” Esteban asked confused.

“Nah, people like you too much now. We can walk the red carpet together, though!”

Esteban smiled at the sight of her perfectly dressed girlfriend. “No, it’s your moment, wouldn’t want to steal it with my perfect height and handsome looks.” He joked, earning a loud laugh from her, his favorite sound.

She was right, time flew by. Now Esteban was admiring as people worked on her dress and makeup. Someone was fixing his hair for one last time before they left the fancy hotel room.

Paparazzi were already lining up outside the hotel, waiting for them. They smiled before the valet got the car. She gave him a weird look, seeing a sports car, very similar to his Alpine car, with no one inside.

“You didn’t think I was going to let someone else drive you, right?” He offered his arm and opened the door for her, helping her with the dress and leaving a kiss on her hand before walking towards the pilot seat.

She couldn’t stop smiling, resting her hand on Esteban’s thigh during the short ride as he expertly drove, eyes not leaving the road to interlace their fingers.

“Chérie… You have one last chance.”

“Esteban!” She stared at him in disbelief.

“Can’t blame a fan for trying.”

Esteban would never tell her, but it was completely worth it in the end. His eyes couldn’t leave the screen for a second, too enthralled by the story being played in front of him, not even noticing the nervous eyes of his girlfriend, she wanted him to enjoy it because, as she found out during the time loving him, he was not exaggerating how much of a fan he was.

She noticed how he didn’t even try to hide the tears and the gasps during the movie, he probably didn’t notice how his grip on her hand got tighter every time a twist happened. Tears were falling freely as he watched his girlfriend on screen, playing what he thought was the saddest scene on modern cinema.

He was the first one on his feet to start the stand-up ovation in the movie theatre. He didn’t care about anything when the lights were turned on, his only worry being softly kissing her lips while people around them were still cheering.

“Shit, I still can’t believe he pulled it off…”

That was Lance, shaking his head and taking a picture with his iPhone to show it at their wedding, knowing that Esteban and (YN) were endgame, even if he made fun of Esteban.

Not enough stories of MJ, Gwen, and Harry getting attacked at the same time/around the same time

Gwen because this is after her father’s death and the villain going after her is thinking wouldn’t it just really fuck with Spidey if he was essentially “responsible” for the death of both of the Stacy’s?

Harry because maybe he knows that Spidey, for whatever reason, means a lot to his friend, so he’s given out statements opposing his father, so the villain going after him is like it’s gonna fuck with Spidey that somebody who openly supports him gets attacked

Then MJ because maybe for the same reason as Harry, maybe because there’s rumors that her and Spidey are dating, maybe they were going after her photographer (Peter) but couldn’t find him so they just said screw it grab the famous person, maybe Spidey’s a fan and this’ll still affect him

Either way, all 3 of them get kidnapped and put in near death situations, but he saves them, he saves all of them, and they get carted away, and then he’s called away because the villains are all attacking still, so he spends the rest of the day doing really stressful, live-saving stuff, like rescuing a bus full of children, holding train tracks together and letting the train run over his back to save everyone inside of it, etc etc etc

So the day finally ends, he’s in emotional and physical shambles, barely holding himself up, but before he can let himself rest, he needs to check on his friends (who don’t know he’s Spidey, don’t know he feels guilty for all them getting attacked, but thankfully don’t blame him for not coming earlier because they weren’t allowed visitors earlier)

But he has to figure out who to visit first: Gwen, who he found out dies in a lot of other universes so she might be in the worst condition, Harry, his best friend who wouldn’t have any other visitors (other than Norman trying to convince him this is all Spidey’s fault) and gets hurt when he feels Peter doesn’t prioritize him, or MJ, who he’s been flaking on as Peter Parker to be Spiderman (even more guilt if it’s the version where the villain was after him, but he wasn’t there)

(Also it’s definitely gonna get out whoever gets visited first because there’s no way he can make to the second person before the first person realizes what terrible shape he’s in and calls over the medical staff)

CPN: a little bit of connecting the timeline that may or may not make sense. based from the recent conversations about the spiderman similarity between them. all thanks to yibo’s “spiderman, spiderman ~” 🎶. which is actually on the top spot @ weibo HS. yep. a random behind the scenes video of him gains that much attention. also CCTV entertainment posted about it.

let’s go back to 2021.

12/6/21, they were both in Beijing. ZZ @ universal studios and WYB just arrived. people were saying WYB was in a hurry to go back, even his airport pics didn’t show him bringing any luggage. He was already finished filming Wuming at this point.

12/12/21, LRLG release a post. On it, there was a conversation between Bobo and someone in glasses. It looks like they are shooting very late in the night. This one of those things that gives credibility to LRLG. No one knew that WYB & WCJ were doing a lot of night scenes together. This was only later revealed in their promos years later.

WYB: Sleepy ?

👨: Still okay

WYB : It's nearly dawn

👨: We'll be off from work when it's dawn

WYB : Yeah

👨 : Isn't it tiring ? Work hard every day

Spoilers for what specifically? Which leads us to…

12/16/21, GG posted about accidentally seeing spiderman spoilers. At this time, videos from the movie are heavily circulated in social media sites. Especially Douyin. we were all asking how he was spoiled, and I think we know now. This is an example of ( again ) LRLG’s “reliability” ( if you wanna call it that ) because they gave this information first before GG mentioned something. In that exchange, Web was just asking if ZZ wants spoilers. maybe he finally showed it on this day GG posted on Oasis.

So the CPN is, it’s Spiderman 3 they were talking about. Tho looking at the date for LRLG, the actual movie hasn’t premiered yet internationally ( 12/13 ) but even before that — there were already lots of plot leaks coming out since it was supposed to be released September. So maybe WYB was also clowning him about it but there shouldn’t be any reliable video yet. My guess for ZZ’s oasis post were the videos coming out from the Korea screening (12/15) which showed Tobey & Andrew were in the movie. The question of how he saw it ( scrolling douyin or maybe a friend’s wechat moments ) , and if Web fulfilled his promise of truly “spoiling” him really came true.

The moment I saw the teaser trailer for Encanto I started crying. I was so BEYOND EXCITED to see real, true, positive beautiful Latin American representation in a Disney movie. I'm not even Colombian but seeing something like this become so popular made me so happy. Being able to fully understand "Dos Orugitas" in Spanish just hits so different, its not the same in English. It's such a beautiful step for Latin American representation, and I'm so excited to see what comes next for us. (Still holding out for my Latina Disney princess tho. And no, Elena doesn't count) I've also been told I look just like Mirabel and seeing a character that looks like me in a Disney movie just made my heart soar.

Luz Noceda (The Owl House)

Bruh a bisexual Latina with mommy issues AND she's bilingual??? She's just like me fr.

Lance McClain (V*ltron Legendary Defender)

He was my absolute favorite character in V*ltron and I will NEVER forgive them for ruining his arc and making him sad forever. He deserved a happy ending. He's NOT "just a boy from Cuba", he's so important and lovely.

Miles Morales (Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse)

I'm not a comic book reader, so Into the Spiderverse was the first time I met Miles. Finding out he was Afro Latino made me heart soar. He's a sweet boy, such a good character in the movie, and definitely deserved the Oscar. Can't wait for the sequel.

Claire Nuñez (Tales of Arcadia)

Claire is literally such a badass. She's amazing, an amazing character, her story with Jim is beautiful. Love it when she's speaks Spanish. 10/10 character (Watch Tales of Arcadia it's really good)

Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera (Ducktales 2017)

I literally laugh my ass off whenever I watch the episode "Hidden City Job" and they do the whole Don Suave bit. Like it's so over the top yet accurate to telenovela characters that I can't help but laugh every time. When they first introduced Capitan Piel, I instantly laughed so hard before they even translated it because they did the whole Skin and Bones bit and I just thought it was so clever. 10/10 duo I'd love to see more of them. People were giving Vivziepop shit accusing her of making Vaggie the "angry Latina stereotype) and I couldn't disagree more. Vaggie is perfectly fine as a character, and I can't wait to see what they do with her in the official Hazbin Hotel series!!

• Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (Phineas and Ferb)

Phineas and Ferb was the first fandoms I was ever in, and Isabella holds such a special place in my heart. Love her to pieces

• Marco Diaz (Star vs. The Forces of Evil)

Svtfoe was also one of the first fandoms I was in, so seeing one of the leads be portrayed as Mexican made 12 year old me so happy.

• Miguel Rivera (Coco)

Coco is such a beautiful movie, and I ONLY watch it in Spanish. Miguel is such a sweet and special boy, he really brought the joy of music back into his family.

• Soos (Jesus) Alzamirano Ramirez

Gravity Falls was ALSO one of the first fandoms I was in (PnF, GF, and Svtfoe were my main 3 for a time), and finding out this loveable goof was Latino made me really happy

• Princess Elena Castillo Flores

Now she may not be an official Disney princess (she doesn't meet all the requirements to be part of the franchise) but that doesn't mean she isn't excellent representation for young children. Although the show doesn't represent one specific Latin American country/culture, the show does have bits and pieces of many different LatAm cultures, and even some indigenous inspiration here and there with all the mythology aspects. It isn't perfect, but I do still appreciate Elena's presence in Disney.

Into the Rift (spiderverse!pacific rim au)

so going into more detail because the actual drawings are coming along really slowly xD (i love drawing robots but coming up with original robot design hard)

The story would be essentially the same as the movies where a mysterious rift opens up in the bottom of the Pacific ocean releasing giant monsters. To combat them, the world governments join together for the good of humanity and create the Jaegers. Those are giant robots piloted by two people through a process called a 'drift'.

The only thing that changes is the characters and the story developed from that idea.

So the jaeger program is basically a stand in for the spider society and all the spiderfolk are pilots or staff. Everyone is also aged up 2 or 3 years to cover international military requirements and such.

and for the sake of the story having a 'pilot shortage' in which only the lucky few being able to actually pilot a jaeger, drifting is much harder and rarer. this leads to the program accepting younger applicants than they normally would. (eg. miles, pav, peni etc)

(character list in order of rank or.. something)

Miguel (34-35) is the stand in for the marshal. I'm not totally sure if he *is* the marshal or not? because he could absolutely just be the pilot manager or the mission overseer. but for now we shall stick with marshal. He primarily serves as the head of the department and representative for the pilot body. He also doubles as a pilot of a gen 1 jaeger (Blue Revenge*) with Peter B Parker, previously Jessica Drew.

Jessica (34-35) is Miguel's ex copilot. She served for two years and during a faux time of inactivity from the rift, she and her husband decided to try for a child. She was called back during the next attack but in the post-fight medical checks, she was ordered to go on maternity leave. She did, for a couple months, but very quickly felt frustrated that she wasn't helping. She moved back into the military base and instead took up a leadership position in combat training. I think her rank would be lieutenant but I don't know enough about the military to make that official.

Peter B Parker (42-43) is a retired pilot. He served as a pilot up until the gen 3 jaegers went into production and was sent home when he got a major back injury. During his time off he started a family in his old New York home and began to forget about the jaegers and the war. He chose to live in ignorant bliss until it all came back when he was summoned back. He brought his entire family, despite the many warnings, and has rather enjoyed his grand return. Currently copilots with Miguel in the Revenge*. Previously piloted the Crimson Core*.

Ben Reilly (24-25) is a jet pilot. Previously a jaeger pilot of the Scarlet Gutter that was decommissioned after it suffered extreme damage in a fight he took solo with a class 2 kaiju. His twin brother was his copilot and died early on in the fight. He currently pilots a fighter jet as backup. The impact of that fight still haunt him and everyone knows to leave him be.

LEGO Spiderman (24-25) and Peter Parkedcar (25-26) are two unrelated pilots that are drift compatible. LEGO Spiderman (Lee Godwin aka LE-GO for short) has a chronic condition with locking joints and Peter Parkedcar is a selective mute. They pilot the Titanium Wall that is essentially just an immovable object to the kaiju's unstoppable force. Yes this is a meme lineup. Laugh.

Peter Porker (31-32) is the head of research. He's john mulaney in all aspects except for occupation. He is more of the morale backbone of the entire operation and spends more time out of the lab making sure to bring a smile to everyone's faces. He wears a cute pig beanie when out and about. He always has candy on him and is famous in the kitchen for hot dogs. No one knows where he gets the hot dogs from, since those are rarely stocked. There's a rumor going around that it's kaiju meat, not beef. Absolutely fascinated kaiju and a biology fanatic.

Margo Kess (20-21) is the head of technology. She's the surveillance guy who takes orders directly from Miguel and is in charge of relaying commands and judging actions on the battlefield. She's a young college graduate- more accurately a child prodigy- and took the first opportunity she had to put her skills to the test. She's very friendly and will always get to know the pilots personally. Drift compatible but has avoided training to not have people learn about her strained home life.

Peni Parker (17-19) is the daughter of the head of engineering. She is just under the required age to actually assume the position but has the most knowledge on jaeger design of anyone else in the program aside from her father. Her father was killed when one of the outposts was destroyed in a kaiju attack. Parentless, the organization arranged for her to stay at the main base, waiting for her 21st birthday so she can acquire an actual rank. Had a personalized jaeger her father had been slowly building, fit for one person, that she's slowly been working on to one day pilot in combat.

Peter Benjamin Parker (Benji or Ben for short) (22-23) was hired as the strategy lead after his impressive work as a police/military investigator. Had a lot of experience with international crime networks and hand picked by Peter B. He was enthusiastically handed over to the Jaeger program after he got just a bit too close to some apocalypse-profiting corruption. No one really knows why, but he's taken more of a liking to pilot training and has shied away from Miguel's leadership team and more towards Jessica and the recruits. He has a good eye for cadets with amazing potential and even applied to be a pilot himself, stepping away almost entirely from any kind of leadership role. Pilots Silver Noir with Hobie(**).

Hobie Brown (20-22) is a pilot. He was recruited early on as one of Britain's undesirables and turned out drift compatible. He was assigned a jaeger that was built and sponsored by the British Government named the Union Jack. Disgusted, he refused to respond to that name and instead calls his jaeger the Stark Screamer. The name has been adopted by command and no one has bothered to correct it. His pilot quit for unknown reasons after only a year on the field and the Screamer was retired until they can find another pilot to partner with him. Has been paired with Benji for the time being.

Gwen Stacy (18-19) is the youngest pilot to date but more than capable of jaeger combat. She was brought in by Jess, despite her father's refusal, and skipped all cadet training except for the essentials and given a jaeger assignment almost immediately. She was picked out when her father, a military rep instead of a cop, was visiting one of the bases that Jess happened to be in. She showed incredible potential in [insert event that im not 100% sure about yet] and was incredibly interested. Originally paired with Hobie because of their similarity in hobby and age. They were drift compatible but she didn't like the Screamer's kit or fighting style and requested a new assignment. She's still best bros with Hobie though. She marks the beginning of the youth recruitment.

Pavitr Prabhakar (17-18) is a cadet in training. He volunteered along with a large number of Indian civilians to chase the fame and glory that surrounded the now-martyred jaegers. Of the hundreds, he and a handful of his peers were selected and he was sent to his specific branch to complete training. He is drift compatible with almost anyone. Having no sense of fear or darkness in his past or his present, he's an incredible asset- if not a little naive. He and Hobie became best friends as soon as they met and has been promised to pilot the Screamer when he completes his training.

Miles Gonzalo Morales (17-18) is a new cadet starting training. He was supposed to be one in a pair but his twin was stuck in Spain with a travel complication. Miles could wait a couple months though and eagerly started training. He was selected because he had an identical twin- which are usually assumed to be drift compatible- but ended up being paired and drift compatible with Gwen. Despite him not having clearance, Gwen and many others think he shows enough potential to pilot a jaeger within the first month of his stay. He is currently assigned to a new jaeger in production: a gen 4 titan named the Clawed Viper***

Mateo Davis Morales (17-18) is a future cadet. He and his twin were split up before highschool for [insert reason i haven't figured out yet here] and he moved to Spain to finish his highschool education and eventually enlist in the jaeger program. However, due to transportation delays and possibly finances, when he and his twin were drafted, Mateo was stuck in Spain until nearly three months later. Just in time for . . . well, the drama (tm).

*Blue Revenge is not final. i don't know if i like it or not but the other option was the blue panther, for the shits and giggles. pretty sure i want to keep the blue but idk. Crimson Core is also a placeholder, but it does sound cooler

**Silver Noir is not final. I want to work in Noir somewhere and make a matte black jaeger but not a lot of words go with 'Noir'

***Clawed Viper is not final. Viper is final, but again, not a lot of words go with 'Viper'

Spiderman!Kazuha where he's needy and wanted attention from the reader but they shoo shoo him away so they can concentrate from their work- he tried few ways to get their attention until the reader gave up and finally give what he wants :D

But yes yes I agree I love needy, wanting attention from the reader kazuha. If you were so busy why did you invite him (his thoughts not mine 😥) he practically was annoyed but, not because you were doing work. It was because you would just not give him the attention he wanted 😭

It was okay the first few hours because he could entertain himself with the funny rumors about Spider Man, as it started getting later and later he was getting bored so he thought of a few ways to distract you which included kissing you all over the face and hanging upside down from the ceiling (which resulted in him failing which finally concerned you enough to focus on him )

“kazuha, you need to stop doing stupid things!” you were bandaging his wound that he got from falling head first onto your desk (which also got your parents up and they asked if you're okay to which you yelled yes) he was stupid but at least you looked at him! Progress is what counts to him, he loved seeing your face up close. It reminded him of his love for you that just can't stop growing.

Here's all the MCU movies that have been confirmed but we havent gotten any news on

Werewolf by night Halloween special: rumored to have been filmed, should be released on October 31st 2022

Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas special: should be released in the 2022 holyday season, but we got no news even tho there was a guardians panel at comicon so it might have been cancelled

Armor Wars: Previously announced as a series starring Rhodey (Don Cheadle), has been confirmed as still coming out by the creator, will most likely be part of phase 6

Spiderman Movie: Tom Holland is rumored to have signed another 3 movie contract. Plus the NWH post credit scene hints at a new MCU spiderman movie, and Feige teased Spidey as one of the faces of the MCU street level, as well as a Daredevil (Charlie Cox) teamup. However this movie will most likely not be out anytime soon, as sony is scheduled to release Kraven, Venom 3, Madame Webb and El MuErTo before. There is a 7 months gap in theatrical releases between Blade and Cap 4 where a spidey movie could fit. Or it might be in phase 6

An untitled Wakanda series has been confirmed to have began production, it is rumored to bw centered around okoye (Danai Gurira)

Eternals 2 has been confirmed and has been teased to be announced somewhat soon (d23?) by Feige. Howerer rumor has it Chloe Zhao will not return (Marvel i will sue)

Shang Chi 2 has been confirmed

An X-men project has been rumored to come out somewhat soon (jokingly 'before phase 10') by Feige

I just love the idea of Y/N being a big fan of spiderman since He saved them from something and They keep pestering Peter about how cool Spiderman is and How nice his arms feel and how funny He is and Peter just wants to DIE from embarrassed BEGGING internally cause Petes have NO IDEA how to deal with compliments

Hahahaha I love this.

Peter absolutely would be a little shy at first about all the compliments to his masked counterpart’s physical appearance—especially coming from you—but I think he’d also be a little bit smug about it on occasion.

“Do you think Spider-Man can really throw a whole car or do you think that’s just a rumor?” You’d ask out of the blue one day, sitting on your couch getting ready for your weekly movie night.

Peter wouldn’t even look up from his pizza as he’d answer, “Oh yeah. He can deadlift at least 10 tons.” And then, after a beat, “So I’ve heard.”

You’d narrow your eyes. “10 tons feels like a ridiculous amount. That’s for sure made up.”

That would be when Peter would snap his head towards you. “It isn’t.”

You’d be caught in a stare off for a minute before you’d roll your eyes at him. “You seem to know a lot about Spider-Man for someone who is generally so uninterested in everything I have to say about him.”

“I’m not uninterested, you’re just always talking about his—”

“His arms, correct, because they are worth talking about, Pete! I had them wrapped around me for a whole 3 and a half minutes! That’s not something someone can forget about! And he’s just so funny—”

“Alright, alright, enough of that. Eat your pizza,” Peter would cut you off, gently shoving your plate towards your face to silence you. And though it would go unnoticed by you in the dim light of your living room, a deep blush would be creeping up his neck and onto his cheeks.

Saw a rumor about Spiderman in Deadpool 3, and I need you to understand that I badly want to see a story where Garfield!Spidey goes back to his universe after NWH and has a meet ugly with Deadpool, who in this universe isn’t with Vanessa.

I think some anons are taking it that Tom doesn’t want Andrew and Tobey in his movies cause they would overshadow him or whatever. I think the real issue is that narratively it makes no sense. Tom has said the story needs to make sense for him to do the next one. A grounded story is what makes sense moving forward (based on where we left off- Andrew and Tobey went back to where they came from, like how will they explain them going back 😩) but clearly Sony want to just make money (like nwh was a phenomenon whose success will not be replicated no matter what they try) and don’t really care about the plot. Hence the crossroads between marvel and Sony rn. It’s obvious the mcu wants an overhaul cause things have not been going well. But Sony just throws money at any thing with the hopes of making even more money (see Morbius). Like it doesn’t even have to make sense for Sony, they just be doing anything.

I personally definitely want a more grounded story with SM 4 as well, and this is where I ASSUMED the Sony/Marvel Spiderman film was headed after seeing the ending of NWH. I also feel like they were sort of gearing us up for a possible Spiderman/Venom movie in the future. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I think we really need to be careful with all of these SM rumors that are coming out. Are the sources actually legit??? 🥴 I know I personally don't believe anything fully that comes out of RPK or World of Reel or whatever. 🙄

Unless it's coming from Variety, Deadline, or another reputable source (and not just TWITTER 🙄), I think fans need to be very cautious. Fans are getting all worked up over a RUMOR about Sony and Marvel regarding Tom's Spiderman, and it might not even be true? 🤷🏾‍♀️

Just saying.....

Anyway,, it does kind of bother me that it's been almost 3 years since the last movie came out, and they haven't really said anything concrete regarding SM4. Idk if that's coz Tom wanted a break, or wanted to negotiate more money or more creative involvement, or isn't pleased with where the story is heading, or WHAT....

But it does make me worry a little bit.... I'll be honest.

But maybe it is best to NOT jump in too soon on smthg. The first 3 films were a trilogy. So that's why we always heard quickly about the next film. But now, maybe they are looking to gear up for the next phase of Spiderman.

I guess we just have to be patient and see what happens? 🤷🏾‍♀️

I mean, honestly? If Tom doesn't like where the storyline is going, then, as sad as it would be, I'd actually rather him leave the tights and spandex, and fully retire his Spiderman character. 👋🏾

Even he mentioned himself that he wasn't really wanting to be playing Spiderman in his 30s. 👀

I would like for him to at least do SM4 (only because NWH ended with such a huge cliffhanger! 😭), but if he doesn't feel like it's right, then, oh well! I'd rather him just leave than compromise what his heart is telling him.

Ngl she was so hot in that movie but here’s the real catch… Ben affleck was rumored to appear as daredevil in the movie soooooooo

Here's the problem with this. Deadpool is now officially in the MCU. In MCU they are bringing in Netflix Daredevil as canon (Matt was already in Spiderman: NWH), and Elektra in Netflix Daredevil is Elodie Yung.

So, unless they're doing some multiverse thing. 🤷‍♀️

Elodie is my Elektra, but that's just me.

Confession time: I still haven’t seen Deadpool 2 yet. I know that sounds wild, but I just haven’t made the time for it yet. Maybe soon? Is it weird that I am starting a lot of these out with “confessions” for things that I should have seen or read already? Probably. Anyway, the trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine looks awesome!

I’ve been interested in how they’re going to incorporate Deadpool into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and based on this trailer it looks like they’ll be doing it through the TVA. I’ve heard the rumors that some believe this will be Marvel’s way of sending off the Fox Marvel movies similar to how Spiderman: No Way Home was the send off for the Sony Marvel movies.

(Let’s be real. You could forget the current Sony Marvel movies [Venom, Venom 2, Venom 3, Morbius, Madame Web, Kraven] don’t exist, and the world would probably be a better place for it. They are bad.)

Deadpool is obviously the perfect character to bring into the MCU at this point given the Multiverse Saga and them trying to piece everything back together into “one timeline” while acknowledging that past projects, even ones that weren’t made by Disney, still matter. Everyone out there loved SOMETHING. Even if it was Elektra. Or Wolverine: Origins. Or X-Men: The Last Stand. You get the point.

I’m excited for the movie. I think it looks good from the brief glimpses that we got in the trailer. I loved Loki seasons 1 and 2, so building upon the TVA that Loki re-established at the end of the show is a great idea. Let’s go!
