So, I have some news:
My pronouns are now they/them!
(I’m still a bit unsure of my identity, so this is subject to change, but for now I think these fit, and that I’m nonbinary.)
Here’s a picture of my favourite nonbinary character, Syd (right), from One Day at a Time. I watched their introductory episode last night, to prepare myself for coming out to my parents today. They make me feel represented like never before and I am so grateful for it.
Or in other words:
Thank you so much to everyone here for creating a space where I feel safe enough to share this!

Netflix continuously cancelling shows with queer leads in honestly fucking excruciating. Everytime i fall in love with a character and seeing myself in a character in a show just to have to ripped away again and again. Especially when it comes to WLW. I am god damn bloody sick of it.
The Society: Grizz and Sam
I Am Not Okay With This: Syd and Dina
The Bastard Son: Nathan and Gabriel
Julie and The Phantoms: Alex and Willie
First Kill: Juliette and Cali
Everything Sucks: Kate and Emaline
Atypical: Cassie and Izzie
One Day At a Time: Elena and Syd

i feel like we don’t talk enough abt the fact that one day at a time is the only tv show (that i know of) that featured characters with neopronouns. and everything was cool. in 2018

Hi where can I get a group of people in real life and not a thousand miles away who will respect my pronouns regardless of what I wear, how long my hair is, etc like the Alvarez’s (including Schneider, obviously) did for Syd?
