I want your opinion on something. Do you think it's better to try and the the cards of the character you like or skipping some to brench out? Like, say you're a fan of Leona. Should you try to get all of his bday card and stuff or stick to one and get other characters ssr?
personally, as much as I would like every single card...I gotta ration my keys, so I focus on my favorites!
which isn't to say that I only pull for certain characters no matter what! more that I take a good long look at every card that comes out and go "do I really want this one? like...really really want it?" (the answer is usually yes, but -- look, the art in this game is very pretty, okay)
honestly, from a gameplay standpoint, I think it doesn't matter too much whether you focus on pulling for specific characters or not. there are very, very few points where actually having a good mix of characters is important (Those Two Stages in episode 6, where I think you can use retry tickets for the easy mode? and also guest room battles if you care about those) and you'll probably end up with at least one halfway decent card per character just from doing 10-pulls and events. so even if you're only pulling for Leona cards, you'll still end up getting a bajillion other characters as well. follow your heart! chase that grumpy lion bliss! ✨🦁✨

I truly, TRULY, do not understand the Night Yorb hate. The fact that it was invented whole cloth from a bit is so fun! It was the cliffhanger from the last season! It burst out of Riz's chest after they said the name too many times! It's a giant sting-ray of darkness! The Hangman and Hanvan have been warning everyone about saying the name since the middle of last season!
Sorry you all hate joy and fun and are begging Brennan to get it out of the way to move on to the REAL story, but I'm here for any and all Night Yorb content, and would honestly be *thrilled* if they kept up stuff about it all season. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go join the Choir of Eternal Night and continue petitioning for a Night Yorb plush from Dropout.

i believe a leitmotif is a kind of haunting. ghosts are able to pass through the walls of a house and musical themes are able to move through imaginary walls between different tv series. when something is gone it keeps existing
^you don’t know how long it took to find the sheet music for this fucking motif because i can’t just type ‘ooooooOoo oOo OoO…oOooOo’ and every one of the doctor’s themes is also referred to as the doctor’s theme

I know everyone likes to make fun of Ezra for believing Maul, but I honestly really liked that, because. Like. He's been working so hard to learn to trust people again. His new-found family is teaching him how to open up and how to let himself love others without being too afraid of losing them to connect
And he doesn't immediatly trust Maul, which shows that even if his trust issues are much better now, he's still not stupid and knows to be careful around strangers, especially if you found them inside a Sith Temple
But. Maul shows and tells him what he wants to see; he acts kind with him, reassures him when he's in doubt, and manipulates Ezra (who is a CHILD) into beliving in him so he could get what he wanted
Then he betrays him, and by blinding Kanan, he proves Ezra's 'little me' right

the idea about childe’s one earring actually being a part of a set he shares with you…………. remarkably unwell. the angst. the potential. the sweet reuniting and “you still have it?” “it was all i had left of you.” gonna be thinking about this forever i think.
you. you get it.
it's a token you always keep with you, some way or another, hanging it from your own ear or your neck if your ears are unpierced. it's a simple earring, really, made of a few beads and a scarlet crystal- and yet it's one of your most prized possessions. sometimes when you're particularly lonely you'll perch on the windowsill and fiddle with the red jewel, staring idly out at the gently falling snow
you're nervous when Ajax- Tartaglia- is scheduled to return. you've both grown so much, will he even still remember you? or will he brush you away in favor of more training, because it was always more training. you gulp nervously when you catch sight of that familiar head of ginger hair, gnawing on your tongue as you watch the Eleventh Harbinger greet his family- but then he makes a beeline for you, wrapping you in his arms with a delightful grin, holding you by the arms when you stumble back in surprise. his eyes, deep blue and with the same hint of spark that you always seem to see, soften, and his fingers brush over the crimson gem hanging from the earring
"We missed you."
that's all he says, a gentle smile on his face, and you simply nod as you swallow back your tears and hug him back. Tartaglia's- no, Ajax's- arms snack around your waist and squeeze firmly, one hand morphing discreetly into an armored claw and stroking your hair because Legacy too wants nothing more than to hold you tightly and take a nap. Ajax leans forward to press his forehead against yours, his own earring glittering with every turn, and as you smile he lets out a quiet, heartfelt purring noise

Something I really need Stranger Things fic writers to know is that no one in rural America was locking any doors in the eighties apart from the government and businesses. I remember when there was a big stink about "we gotta start locking our doors now how am I supposed to remember that every time I leave the house." People didn't lock the doors when they were home until at LEAST the mid-aughts, a lot of people STILL don't. "Oh we can't get into so-and-so's house/car because we don't have the keys!" You do not need the keys, just open the door. "I'm alarmed because I went over to so-and-so's house and their front door was unlocked so I instantly knew something was wrong." It would be much weirder if it was locked. If I showed up at my friend's house and the door was locked I would immediately assume something was wrong. If I lived in a town regularly invaded by monsters and patrolled by mobs of government agents/Russian spies/jocks with guns, I would assume my friend was currently being hunted.

Bones. Bones.
How have you NEVER HEARD of The X-Files before? Very popular 90s TV show. Very. Very. Very Popular. Next you'll tell me you haven't heard of Xena: Warrior Princess.
Yes Mulder/Sculley was a ship. it was Such a huge ship that the ship *coined the phrase shipping*.
that is all thank you for coming to my mini-talk, this has been a brief foray into Fandom History. o7
Simply said, I was born in the 2000s, I don’t think I’ve ever heard X files ever mentioned besides in passing.
When I replied saying I was offline as a kiddo I truly meant it, ya girl only had books, the outdoors, and art as things to do. I think X Files is some supernatural/alien type thing right? That’s why it’s “X Files” because it’s what would be in conspiracy theory type censored government documents???
With the “check back for bites” thing, like are the aliens like zombies?
And what it COINED THE PHRASE SHIPPING? That’s so rad I absolutely have to read the history of that, that’s so incredibly neat my dude holy hell
