Hi hi, this is more of like a little drabble cause I got carried away but it works

Early Mornings w/ Katniss

It’s early morning, the sun rays are so soft as they waft in through the window, if you could touch them, they’d feel fluffy

The woods outside the open windows are quiet and peaceful. A few birds sing and the breeze gently blows the curtains

Katniss curled in your arms, her head tucked into your neck, her soft breath tickling your skin. Her eyes are closed in a rare, peaceful rest

Your arms are wrapped around her, her head resting on one of them. One of your hands rests in her hair as you pry the hair tie from her locks and release her braid, the other on her side that slowly rises and falls

It's practically perfect; cozy, warm, adorable...

But one thing would make it better

Katniss murmurs softly in her sleep into your neck, words incoherent. One of her hands grasps at the fabric of your shirt

You lean your head back a little and move your hands to cup her tranquil face. You press a gentle kiss to her forehead in an attempt to wake her up but she only murmurs softly, eyes fluttering but not opening

You decide to step it up another level and start pebbling gentle kisses all over her face like raindrops, lips pressing against her freckles and scars

Her gray eyes flutter open now, taking a few moments to clear the blur and focus on your face. Her eyebrows soften and she groans softly “Mm?”

You chuckle and ruffle a few locks of her hair. "Morning, pretty."

"Mm... what are you doing?"

Her voice is soft and raspy like leftover honey and she clears her throat in an attempt to rid her tone of the sleepiness but it's pitiful.

"Nothing." You croon. You let out a soft noise of surprise as her arms slip around your neck like snakes and she pulls your head closer to her.

Her lips meet yours in a soft, drowsy kiss, almost as golden as the sun. Her eyes gazed at you lovingly.

"How about pancakes?" You blurt out the second you two pull apart. Your mind was a little hazy from the kiss and the first thing that came to mind was food.

This made Katniss laugh a little. She ran her thumb over your cheek and then settled her head back down on your chest.

"Soon... I wanna lay here a while longer." She murmured.

Her nose nestled into the thin fabric of your shirt and her content sigh tickled your skin. Her eyes fluttered closed but she was awake, just relishing in the beauty of the moment.

Breakfast could wait.

Okay hear me out. What if the Falmer were culturally far more similar to the modern day nords rather than the altmer or the ayleids?

Like if the Falmer's culture was a more intense version of what we see of the ancient nords in Skyrim. Because the nords kind of just integrated their own culture into the falmers. Maybe the Falmer were originally far more similar to the vikings and other ancient Scandinavian cultures rather than just being the altmer but pale.

Or maybe even towards the end of their reign they started to shift cultures to a more altmer influenced lifestyle and religion making Auri-el a more prominent God figure in their pantheon. Sort of similar to how Scandinavia got christianised.

It would explain why tensions between the Atmorans and the Falmer suddenly became so high when they were previously living peacefully together.

It would also be fascinating to consider the fact the nords could actually be descendants of both the atmorans and the Falmer. Sort of like the bretons. It's very difficult to completely wipe out an entire country worth of people. And not every Falmer wanted to go underground with most being opposed to the idea. So it would make more sense for those who didn't join the Dwemer for protection to be slowly "integrated" with the atmorans which would explain the entire disappearance of the rest of the Falmer. It also gives the modern day Nords a new context which I really like because its sort of poetic irony the nords themselves would be another small part of what was left of the ancient falmer.

Also there's no way a bunch of people living in freezing cold temperatures aren't going to have beards. Bethesda is lying to me.

Anyways it might not line up with canon but it's an interesting thought. Also brings some funny scenarios to mind.

To me qfelps just has the symptoms of hypothermia forever but he just behaves like normal

It's so noticable when you feel his pulse is always weak, hand is always so sold and his fingertips are blackened, blood doesn't seem to flow under his skin, even after getting defrosted he's doesn't look too warm at all

• Patty considers Nero as a pseudo brother/cousin which leads to shenanigans

• KYRIE IS ALSO GOTH!!!!! she has very religious undertones in what she wears

• Lady actually sleeps with one eye open, it scares everyone

• Trish got scouted by a modelling agency once and she gave it a shot, but immediately quit as her first shoot got her front page of a big fashion magazine and she became really popular for a bit
