EXERCISE: Barbell – Dead-lift
LEVEL: Intermediate
MENTAL FOCUS: change your line of strength walk the whole line
SET UP: Load the bar and secure the plates with collars.   Stand with your feet about hip width apart. Feet slightly angled outwards. Look down.
TARGET: Your arms, forearms, and hands hold onto the barbell and make sure the bar stays in the right position and stays stable throughout the lift. We have to be smart with our training in the gym. Do a solid warm-up to get your muscles loose and the blood flowing. Do some mobility work, either targeted to an area that is tight or needs work, or a general mobility exercise to a major area like your hips, shoulders or lower back! Then go train, go hard on days that our body feels good, and scale it back on days that just don’t feel right! Cool down at the end of your work out. Maybe do some skill work or ride the bike for a while to let your body slow down. Now this part is important. You must recovery after your workout and let your body repair itself! 
Smart training is the key to minimizing the risk of injury. Ego lifting, showing off, bad form and technique, and lack of training knowledge will always lead to injury.
