I like how we were talking about coincidences and one *just* occurred!

Someone where I live actually recently got hit by a train. I don't know any of the details but I do know: the train was immediately stopped, and it doesn't take THAT long to clean up, since the train was leaving the same day that the accident occurred.

Now, away from the solid facts I know about the incident and onto my own theories about what would happen: I feel like it would just crush a lot of bones and then as the train slowed down, you would eventually loose the air pressure holding you against the train, and would fall. Some limbs would be crushed or torn off, but you probably wouldn't be shredded to bits.

Also, open caskets are ONLY offered if the body is in good enough condition. You can request it, but the request is only accepted if they are able to make the body presentable. So, thankfully, no Frankenstein monsters during burials :3

As for my shower thoughts.... I watch a lot of book/show/movie breakdowns where they go in depth about the symbolism of certain scenes. About how EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL. ment something in certain media. How much of that is actually decided by the creator, and how much of it is people looking WAY to hard into things?? I remember having to write a THREE PAGE ESSAY on the symbolism and literary tools used in ONE paragraph of a book once and... I just could not for the life of me belive the author intended for this one paragraph to have three pages worth of meaning in it. I don't think I could ever write a paragraph with three pages worth of meaning in it (at least... on purpose).

What's your favorite genre? Mine is fantasy or thriller (not the blood and guts kind but the constant suspence kind. To much blood and guts can actually turn me away at times)

my teacher has us do this ReadTheory thing where we read passages and then complete a quiz about the passage, and some of the questions are so analytical and they even start using wording and phrases that the teacher couldnt understand at times. i get where you are coming from when you say people look too hard into things. ive seen theories about Aus that i follow that are literal ESSAYS. it makes my jaw drop every time. sometimes in a good way tho :D

as for my favorite book genre, id have to say fantasy fiction. mainly animal based for some reason. like Familiars or Wings of Fire. i dunno, i find them interesting. (although, the turning away from blood and gore thing is one thing in which we differ. there are some authors who can go into such gruesome and amazing detail when it comes to stuff like that, and i love reading it. maybe im just a psycho lol)

I wont give you a question since you are going to bed :) sleep well and have a good day tomorrow! i have school and the theater practice so i likely wont be on a lot this week. maybe at night or early morning tho!

very long rant about AI LOL

(fair warning, im NOT an expert on anything. j just research and read over these things. i wouldn't be shocked if any information is wrong, i just want to get some stress off of me. also i probably spelt 50 things wrong. it's like 2am)

i think it's time for a long rant about ai. i think it's at a point where you shouldn't be going "oh well it will be gone in a dew years" or " its not a thing you should worry about". it's definitely staying for good.

due to ai, i already decided that im not majoring in art once i get to college. im lucky enough to have several career interests, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place.

generative ai

man i wish ai was used for "anything" else besides generating media. you cannot be serious that an ugly ai "art" post gets more attention than creating solutions for diseases. ai CAN be GOOD. it's been around since the cold war, helping us develop all of today's technology. and now, it's being used for greed and money just because companies (not even companies, just really ignorant people who dont view art as a process) think of society/workers as just numbers, not people.

i always wanted to be an artist. i always wanted to study technology. i NEVER had the thought that AI should take over art. i understand the desperation of wanting a perfect final result, but in life, it shouldn't happen. your perfection should the reflection on your own success and growth.

ai is growing, but no one else is. you can "make" 100 ai generated prices and have a perfect replica of what you wanted, yet you learned NOTHING at all. you will one day ask yourself "how much have i grown?" and nothing will be there.

also, i dont think art is/will be dead, however i see it drowning deeper and deeper in the coming years. there will be hundreds of thousands of people who understand art. but millions more only care about the final result. people will eat whatever slop, as long as they can get it fast and perfect. sickening, but it's unfortunately the case.

im a BIG art nerd. i love watching behind the scenes videos, seeing storyboards, and seeing the crew behind shows/movies laughing and smiling. i dont want to watch something that was just created by stealing content and mashing it together

also this should be known. that shit is going to get abused to make p*rn. i already saw reddit think about how they can sell it for money. i think ill get banned if i said my response to this

the good in AI i really enjoy

okay i dont want to stay negative about ai forever. i know a lot of people say "all ai is bad" a LOT. it's probably because AI right now has just been about creating videos and photos, but there's so much good in ai that i wish tech bros would focus on more.

the development of phones and algorithms, (mostly in explorations, maybe mathematics?). obviously ai is already being used in both of these, but i feel like space exploration is going to get crazier each year. maybe at a cold war level? who knows.

every phone has ai, but looking more into it like samsung's new ai features... like their live transcript during calls and circle to search...these already existed really but adding advanced ai to these... it's going to get way better and become so useful, especially the transcript feature, my parents already have a tough moment talking on the phone with me..

i think medical technology would be great too! maybe not like elon musk's brain chip, more like accurate diagnosis, help run better simulations, and maybe help preserve medical records (hackers exist)? i wont go too deep into that tho since i haven't done that much research on this.

anyway i really wished people saw this side of ai. it hurts seeing what corrupt things we choose to do instead... overall i believe ai can be used side by side with humans, instead of doing all the work for us.

tl;dr, i think lead poisoning got us here

no but really. ai is here to stay. it's always been here, and it will get worse if nothing is done. but always try to stay positive the most you can, but it's impossible to ignore the presence of ai.

hopefully, we can get some hardcore laws (or even a ban PLEASE) on generative ai that makes it useless as hell. i dont have too much faith in it, but im not giving up the chance.

(random thought, if ai did take over, i think it will be because we stuck brains on them LOL. look this information up it's a little shocking but slightly interesting. but it's quite scary ngl)

okay, so what horror books have you read and liked the most? i've never read stephen king. the only book by him that i've thought of reading is misery. what kind of horror enthusiast are you? do you want to feel real scared or do you like the blood and the monsters? i am the first one for books, but for movies and tv shows i'm more the second. i like saw and final destination, those kinds of bloody movies, tho i don't watch movies very frequently tbh

i personally like historical paranormal horror books, and the silent companions by laura purcell is the closest i've got to a perfect horror book. also the yellow wallpaper. into the drowning deep by mira gran is a science fiction horror, but i like it more because of the science than the horror, and it's queer.

hate knives being less enthusiastic. i think them being different isnt automatically bad, and even if he was like hitting puberty before vash and maybe going through adolescence he still deserves respect, but it does kinda hint that he's the "bad" one. and i hate that evil/good twin shit lol

this cutting straight to the fall kind of makes it interesting. at least makes you go "oh, wow, i wonder what happened" as opposed to starting the show off with it

tristamp might be assigning more guilt to vash concrening knives? if knives is telling the truth. in the manga and anime knives just fucking... hacked smth idk, while here knives makes it sound like vash let him in on a little secret to the "explode all ships" button he instantly regretted

i don't think i like the presentation of rem's iconic speech. there's no context shown for it, i was scared luida was gonna take it, but here its just loosely connected. in fact, i don't think it really matches at all. originally it was about rem and vash wanting to die, they argue you have something to live for, and vash uses it to be hopeful and say people can change even when they've done bad. here it gives off the impression that vash can live to be useful to the humans, therefore he'll finally earn their respect (which is bad lol). even if its related to vash's apparent guilt of knives being able to drop everyone from the sky, its not clear enough. the audience doesnt know the context

SHE SAYING IT AS SHE'S DYING?? why would she think either kid would ever hear it, lol. i feel it doesnt fit any situation in tristamp, im more focused on the plant than what she's saying, so frankly its kind of leaving my mind as shes saying it despite me already knowing it

i guess vash's power here is healing steven universe style, but just through minimum contact ig

the stuff with tristamp wolfwood and brad just isnt funny. in the manga/anime, brad had that immature attitude to show off in front of jessica, he was also jealous of vash for being an older bro type and jessica had a crush on him, so he felt like the competition. here he's just... being an asshole? the "yeah, he did something useful, i guess he can get a bed now" doesnt feel like a lot. luida too, she apologizes, but doesnt explain why they did that (and that its inexcusable)

so is he using up his powers in tristamp too, or.

HOW ARE THE RESIDENTS STILL CONCERNED ABOUT HIM. BY THE TIME HES A TEEN THEY SHOULD BE REVERING HIS ASS?? or abusing him

ohhh shit, okay. so.

cql was the most draining show - it's amazing and so enticing but i had never watched anything from the wuxia genre before so it was A Lot..i would not rewatch it tbh, maybe the special addition if i miss wangxian too much 💞 it's so tragic and i'm always at risk of The Feels when i come across any cql or mdzs post, not to mention the yi city arc which fucked me up in a particular way...

woh doesn't make me as emotional because everyone is insane? it's actually impressive how unhinged every single person in the show is, the stories are tragic too, especially the last episodes but i was kind of numb to it, decided to focus on my guys and their happy ending only ✌️

woh gave me wen kexing, visuals (the designs of the characters are wild, espeecially the ghosts, they're straight out of a children's book, so expressive and individualistic) and the most blatant expression of romance they could - not only could you feel the love through each gaze, touch and action but boundaries were pushed in terms of script and the portrayal of physical affection was more than what they had to do. also i'm obsessed with the lipreading videos <3

cql and mdzs are still distant to me and i feel like an outsider to the fandom but i feel the same way about woh. cql introduced me to wuxia, i see posts about it more often and i feel like i remember the characters and events better. not to mention i got into mxtx bc of it so i have it to thank for the blast i have when im reading svsss. so ig i have to pick the untamed? but woh really is special, i hope ppl watch it

boyyy i would usually say pat no questions asked but i think about pran and how he's handled all that his mom put him through and how he clearly struggles in so many ways and my protective instincts are screaaming, he's such a brave patootie (or, yknow, patootie)..but yeah no, i'll say pat, he is so loving loving loving despite everything, so considerate, so caring, he's a bit of a jock, a bit of a theatre kid, a bit of a band member - he's straight out of high school musical but adorable

TMS2!! i am sure s1 is great but it just didn't leave a lasting impression on me, it was the second season that had me shaking in excitement and yelling at the screen and going through tumblr to read analyses and stuff. it made me care about seojoon and jiwoo soo much and even if in the future i find the first season better in retrospect, s2 is my baby (and it got me so excited bout daseul's vision for blueming 2 🥰)

ohh that's interesting..maithee, namo and phum are all annoying but supportive losers lol

i dont have much of an opinion on any of them like phum was a villain for most of the show and then he had a glow up and became a rich hottie with a cute boyfriend, namo was a decoy that suddenly became a part of the squad and i dont remember much about maithee in the og show honestly.. based on the our skyy 2 episodes, i'll go with namo - he gave off sweet supportive kid who just wants to be loved and that's pathetic and cute <3 (tho maithee deserves betterrr)

Palm or Tinn?

in terms of whipped, i think i'd go with palm. man is borderline crazy for nueng, it's impressive. with their our skyy 2 eps out it's confirmed it's not just teen hormones lol

when it comes to my personal fave...they're both precious and frustrate me a lot but ig i'd go with tinn - i think of his reaction to gun rawring at him, about him coming back with those grocery bags.. he's so intense and awkward and devoted but it's not in the way palm is (which makes even me a bit uncomfortable hahah)

As for animals, honestly i think he'd be like those dads who never wanted a cat in the first place - then falls in love (secretly) in his own time. Like, this asshole will totally tell you to get rid of it to the point where it concerns you to have the poor animal around Syntax, but one day, maybe it was because cats just LOVE to hang around people who hate them, but one dya you walk in and find the cat on Syntax's lap while he's working, one of his hands gently stroking it's fur.

And it's just - you realize, let out a huge, guffawing "HA!" and point like an obnoxious for-year-old at Syntax. And this guy almost yeets the cat into another dimension, thankfully you catch the poor creature.

But you got him to admit he doesn't mind the cat's existence anymore, and frequently catches them hanging out a lot

So yes, Syntax doesn't really like animals, but once he gets to know them he'll develop a soft spot and you'll find him playing with them from time to time

But he considers them non-intelligent beings so doesn't interact with them beyond that

oml for springlock, Syntax might've been inspired to create his own contraption after getting over the initial shock factor - you were quick to slam the brakes on that one, thank fuck

How many characters have you made simply because you watched a show or played a game and you latched onto it and made that character based off that specific piece of media you character hoarding dragon

you already know most the answers anyway bub HOWEVER i wil give a run down because jokes on yall, every character i have is a messed up amalgam of characters from other things. if i fuse enough and twist them around enough nobody will know (unless you do this, thus exposing yourself)

also nobody read into these too much, these were just starting points for these characters!

Tobii - toshiro hitsugaya (bleach) and hiei (yu yu hakusho) are his main inspirations, and its a joke (but real) that i split my boy Ryujin in 2 to make Tobii and Kyuugo

Karnchana - rangiku matsumoto (bleach), and im actually seeing pieces of riza hawkeye and winry rockbell (fma) in her now as well!

Asashi - zenitsu agatsuma (kny) and somehow kira izuru (bleach), if his general aura and design werent obvious lol

Kyuugo - kaigaku (kny) was his biggest influence, and ikkaku madarame (bleach) somehow got in there a bit? tho i see a lot of similarities with him and inuyasha (inuyasha) actually! also Ryu as said before

Grandmaster - DESIGN WISE hes a mesh of heihachi mishima (tekken), reinhardt (ovw), and ganondorf (tloz:tp), character wise its escaping me actually! i didnt have any conscious inspiration there that i can identify

misc ones that only half count are soona with some insp from sango (inuyasha), miyuki with some design elements from hiyori (bleach), and the white haired girls i wont name designs were inspired by the spider family (kny) and honestly i guess azula's trio (atla)

TOO MUCH BLEACH GOT IN HERE but its because i had the whole idea for my story BECAUSE of watching bleach, and then a resurgence when i watched kny shdjds, i cant help it

I cant find the OG post I made responding to an ask I received from an anon so I’m reposting the whole thing cause I was so proud of the reply

The ask:

“you might’ve made a post about this already but i was just wondering if you’ve been watching the marvel ‘What If…?’ episodes ! cuz TWS is in s2ep2 and i.,,! don’t really know how to feel about it. it was kinda really out of character and made no sense but also the whole point of the series is like “lol but what if tho!” so it’s kinda hard to object LOL idk i was just wondering ur thoughts if you’ve seen it”

The initial reply:

“Mkay so:

I haven’t seen What If…?

I’ve seen the hype, and I’ve seen screenshots and stuff but I have a really hard time absorbing content that isn’t ‘canon’ u know? I might watch it anyways to better answer your question but as of this moment it doesn’t seem like I’ll like it”

One hour later I replied again:

“My thoughts on What If…? Winter Soldier are as follows;

I dont like the animation style. There feels like an inconsistent amount of depth of something. It makes me uncomfortable.

Part of what makes The Winter Soldier…The Winter Soldier is how expressive he manages to be, despite the mental and physical attempts to stop that (brainwashing, mask and goggles, etc) This show sort of… managed to water down his character which is an odd choice to say the least.

They made him kind of emo bad boy loner IMO instead of tortured man out of time

The scene on the comms between Howard and Bucky is… not as revolutionary as I had hoped, it almost feels like an aside (understandable given that Bucky is a side character but like.. that’s a monumental moment- he’s getting out of the programming!!)

Part of why Sebastian Stan played the part so well is he managed to inject emotion into an ‘emotionless’ character, to make (relatively) simple actions feel like an insight to the Winter Soldier, with breadcrumbs of the man behind. Maybe we’ve been spoiled by that but like… if they could do it once they could do it again IMO

The fact that the whole series is based on minor changes that add up WOULD excuse this (you are correct in that regard) but only if they acknowledged the change. Like at all. I haven’t seen any other episodes so lmk if I’m wrong but it seems like they hadn’t introduced TWS prior so his differing emotional breadth is sorta out of left field

The scene where Howard says ‘I’m presser sure Bucky Barnes is out there with him’ is I think supposed to inject hope for TWS future into the audience with ‘he’s probably getting better, even though we can’t say for sure’ but it sorta comes off as dismissive? Like Bucky is out there, but he’s still a super spy now so we aren’t going to do anything about that. Might be writing that wrong, it feels incorrect when I read it but idk how to word it better.

Another shoutout to the uncomfortable animation style.

Shoutout to the found family dynamic that tumblr is a whore for.

Overall: look how they massacred my boy. I likely wont be watching another ep unless requested. I didn’t care for this one mostly cause it didn’t feel like absorbing WS content?? Like my secret autism senses can tell that this content is Not My Winter Soldier which is a bit funny.

-Are we finally gonna get the backstory... i bet its gonna be a misunderstanding plot how much do we wanne bet its a miscommunication plot. They've set up mr lee/mountain spirit too kindly to have him be a full villain i feel. Like they show an equal amount of moments that paint him in a positive light to ones that portray him as a villain. So its gotta be something like a miscommunication plot or a 'redeemed at the final moment of death' or some shit, i can feel it.. (and if im wrong. Well fuck me lol)

-Aw even back in time they were fucking adorable. But I have to say the mountain spirit romance plot takes the cake this episode for me, the tsundere storyline always wins 😔 im easy to please,,, now if only they couldve stayed happy on the mountain with the puppy kid T.T altho it feels weird when translated to the modern day cos while she was a married woman in the flashback shes a whole student in present day 💀

-But i am endlessly charmed by the mountain spirit and his pretty brown eyes and his trying so hard not to get attached to the fragile mortals <3 Also i think i reaallllly vibe with the historical aspect so ill pick up a historical drama from your list next (i still havent started another one yet sksjsk)

-My misunderstanding plot theory gains momentum! Mountain spirit looked away for literally the exact second she got stabbed and just assumes it was the dude like. I mean i get it but gAHHhhh!!

-Now now mountain spirit. Step away from the dog. Please dont kill the dOG-.... Ah.. Too late ... (unrelated but why is the vet sleeping at the animal hospital sksjsj? Protestant work ethic strikes again)

-So anyway this episode was made just to make me fall deeper in love with mr mountain spirit 😔 and im really looking forward to confict and confrontations next episode >:] (also thank you for the new recs!!! Ive added them to my list ^.^)

watching succ session again idk why i just forgot to continue last year or so. just watched s2 e1. i already got spoiled than kendall killed a dude but like if i hadn’t i’d for sure be so shocked. his acting is like really good right after that. i honestly don’t really feel as bad for him as i remember but i do think he needs some time off and away like why is logan having him part of the company again. then again i doubt that he’d get better no matter where he is since he basically killed someone and all knowledge of it was buried. there’s basically no way to process the guilt if you can’t acknowledge it happened anywhere to anyone ever. which makes me think its gonna come up again later this season

idk im kind of rooting for shiv like she’s a terrible person and all of them kind of are but she’s too smart to be limited by what shes doing rn and she’s the one whos actually demonstrated that she can succeed outside the family business. i have read that she’s kind of a cersei tho like she overhypes herself a bit too much ig that occurs more in later seasons. but idk for now i feel like she’s pretty levelheaded but enough of a snake that she’s like really fit for the position

also i hate connor. nothing likeable about him. can’t even like that he’s so unaware how stupid he always sounds unlike all the other characters (roman, tom, greg, etc). i wouldn’t mind seeing him get beat with a baseball bat. i would kind of enjoy seeing it happen to all of them. maybe not specifically getting beaten but just some sort of reality check. but connor especially i would enjoy

you were reading through the previous log and like. wow. that was honestly beautiful why did you go off like that. a couple months ago you got “poet” on a soldier, poet, king personality quiz that was going around online and damn that last post was really a pinnacle of the depressed and tortured artist you could really be LMAO.

its the last couple weeks of your first year of college! finals are still yet to pass, but you have high (maybe a little too high) hopes for acceptable grades. summer couldn’t come sooner.

you move out of the dorm very soon. every time you wait by the microwave you find yourself looking at the activity list that you and your roommates made at the beginning of the year. it felt like yesterday that you were saying you had plenty of time to do as many things as possible, but now nobody is even on good enough terms to get lunch together. yikers! you were never close enough to anyone to truly be bothered bu their drama, so its not too big of a deal, but its still sad to see them go. you’ll miss this room alot! although it was only by chance you made it to this room, it really was a little paradise of its own.

OHHHH OHHH HUGE NEWSSSS you changed your major!!! thank GODDDD because you really didnt want to be a nurse. as days passed by your distain for your studies’ path and the divide between you and your nursing peers became apparent. your parents will probably never understand but it was never for you. now you will be working in speech therapy, hopefully teaching children to not make the mistakes that you make lol. you do not want to work in geriatric. you will die.

on a darker note, a few months ago you found yourself feeling lonlier than ever. you spilled your heart out to your dad and he assured you that god will send you someone blah blah blah (ok religion will be for the next paragraph ill touch on that too). since then, you’ve felt alot better and you’ve been less lonely, but it was worth mentioning. maybe it was a seasonal depression. you really need to get a therapist.

religion……. lately you have been feeling a divide between you and christianity. it was a couple weeks ago, when you were looking for an apartment for tge next year. being put on the waitlist, dad told you to really pray that you get in, and that He will provide you a spot on campus. at this point in your life, you cant just sit around and wait for god’s answer. things are happening very quickly and miracles are too unstable to rely on. you need proactivity. you feel like you still believe in jesus. He is real and He does care, but you still are your own person and you still need to be smart about your own decisions. sure you can ask a friend for advice, but at the end of the day, your decisions and actions are your own.

you find yourself wanting love more than ever before. maybe because you’ve been watching a lot of romance shows lately? well whilst typing that out you realize for a long time you’ve been watching romance, but this is the first time you’ve really felt this way. you aren’t sure what changed. what happened to aroace man. this doesn’t contribute to the lonlieness tho lmao. you don’t really care for a partner as of late, but you do think it’d be nice to have one. maybe its the college air. gross.

in summation, you aren’t feeling as emotional, but you’ve definitely been having a lot more thoughts of your own. deeply personal, self-reflecting thoughts that feel like they go even deeper than that self concept stuff from the last post. no tears left to cry for now. its only time to move forward.

edit: you were reading LA log 2 and apparently these were way more about life updates more than FEELINGS UPDATES 🙄🙄. ok backtracking. cute updates time.

tomorrow you are getting tickets for universal for free (HOPEFULLY)!!! you are gonna go with your friends from glee club (btw you are in glee club) and have a great time. you hope that going with glee and going with your roommate wont conflict and that you’ll have a great time with everyone.

you feel closest to your best friends right now. they are your favorite people and you love talking with them and sharing interests. hopefully she can come you your school so you can become even closer. it sucks having to drive two hours every weekend just to see all of them.

you like your art alot! you’ve been spending more time improving your style and like, wow things are looking great. maybe you’ll take up an art minor?
