So… Studio Orange released this character modeling concept recently. Like any normal person would do, here’s my height breakdown analysis. (Please note that this is concept from 2021 so it’s not the final model used in the anime)

I drew up some lines and it seems like Wolfwood is a few cm shorter than the twins base on his chin and head crown. The head guideline is guess work with how their hair’s pointing up but i tried to follow the shave side for the twins and the crown for Wolfwood. Tristamp Vash and Knives are 185cm (6’1”) and Wolfwood is around 183-184cm(6’0”).

While in Trimax, Nightow said vash is about 180cm (5’11”) and said Wolfwood is a bit taller (so assumed that he’s around 182-183cm or 6’0”). That’s all!

it's about the trust actually. like it's about how when percy originally picked annabeth and gave his reasoning as basically "she would kill me to finish the quest" he did that specifically because He Did Not Trust Her. he absolutely didn't trust that she would have his back and he planned around his certainty that she would put completing the quest above all else

but then in waterland he begs her to let him be the sacrifice, he says "it's why you're on the quest," but he can only ask that of her BECAUSE he trusts her. because he knows she's stronger than him he knows she'll finish the quest he even knows she'll rescue his mom and most of all he trusts her to trust HIM to know all of that and make the right call it's just it's ABOUT the TRUST

Sometimes I wonder if people can’t reconcile Tashi (Duncan) Donaldson becoming a mother (and being a good mother at that) is because of “characterization” like they claim or if it can’t be boiled down to just fucking hating kids.

We can talk all day about the meta narrative of Tashi getting married, becoming a wife, taking her husband’s name and having a child but we’d first have to do it with the acknowledgement that some people just fucking hate kids. They hate kids and they cannot reconcile a world, even within a fictional one, where a character can just choose to have one because they want to.
