£38,700 😭😭

I guess my plan to move back to the U.K. in 2025 is up in the air now.

A few jobs in my profession do pay over £38,700 in the UK but a majority of them don't. The fact that I was willing to take a massive salary decrease just to move back to the UK is really telling.

This news is really upsetting. I've been putting aside money for the move and I had a plan to start selling and giving away a lot of my stuff so I didn't just burden my Mom with all my books and clothes once I left.

I think I really did fuck up by not applying for graduate student visa while I was a student in Wales. I think that was the only shot I had to actually stay and live in the U.K.

And I squandered it to come back to Texas 🤦🏿‍♀️

idk. Maybe there will be a job available for me that makes over £38k but from what I've seen...the likelihood is very very low.
