also im rewatching s2 and it’s fucking hilarious bc they’re recorded as though they were on tv and the ads and promos for house of anubis are just of the teens themselves posing and standing real emo like and serious and so try hard and so funny.

they try to be so edgy and dramatic and then you actually watch an episode and its just antics on top of alfie+jerome chaos on top of moments that victor should have obviously caught them lurking on top of side plot drama on top of more cringe worthy funny moments and bad lies but then tHERE ARE THE ADS AGAIN AND THEY LOOK LIKE BABIES TRYIN’ TO BE SERIOUS STOP IT BUT DONT STOP AHHHH

#poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #wen qing #wen ning #jiang cheng #wei wuxian #In the audio drama she quite literally opens the door and then leaves after seeing them without breaking conversation.#It is both so impressive and deeply funny to me.#I imagine her just literally pivoting in one foot and walking right out.#She came home after a long day at work and in 0.5 seconds went “I would rather go back to the office than deal with this right now”.#Besides tickling me to near tears - this scene is also a great introduction to Wen Qing - her first instinct is to protect!#She lives by the code of 'I don't care who you are - if you need help I will lend it.' a true doctor and professional.#Sure she is *mad* that Wen Ning puts himself (and her to a lesser extent) at risk by helping 'the enemy' but she gives in quick.#I love Wen Qing a lot - she is such an unsung hero in this story.#Sorry that her first appearance on this blog was...what it was. I'll let your curiosity take you down that path...

Thinking about how, when Scar turns red in Third Life, his first actions are collecting flowers to beg to stay with Grian.

That, when faced with being a red life—the first and only red life—his first actions aren’t bloodthirst and anger but desperation to keep the relationship he’s made.

That, in a game where alliances are kept through deeds, debts, and doubt—he offered flowers. He didn’t sell the idea of staying teammates, he didn’t even try. He offered the flowers and begged to stay by Grians side, but was fully prepared to walk away without another word. Was prepared to forget his scamming nature, to lay down flowers and nothing more.

Also, in the image of the flowers being a bouquet, imagine him being gone for hours after his death.

Grian is waiting and Scar is holed up in the forest somewhere meticulously crafting this arrangement despite having no idea what he’s doing. He could only find two flowers, and the mess he puts together isn’t anything anyone would ever sell, but he made it from scratch. He put in the effort, spent hours on it until he deemed it perfect and only then did he bring it to Grian.

It’s ugly, and there is no twine holding it together nor a sheet, but the flowers aren’t wilted. All of them are the most vibrant, healthy flowers he could find and not one is missing a petal due to his hands.

His hands—used to scam, maim, and betray—made gentle for the effort of making something worthy of someone like Grian.
