The two hundred and thirty seventh friend. A little gonk. Many people assume she is a man because of her beard. This is something she is used to. She gets misgendered a lot, even though she's cis. When she tells people she is a woman who uses she/her pronouns, some don't believe her and continue to refer to her incorrectly. Others try to make her believe that her beard is a bad thing and she should shave it. Society has certainly always told her that she should shave it. Her face should be hairless and clear and feminine. That isn't what she wants though. That version of femininity has never made her comfortable. She likes the way she is. She loves her beard and the fact that she is able to grow one. She thinks it is beautiful. It is long and unruly and she thinks that that only adds to it. Even if nobody else appreciated it, she would be proud of it. It makes her happy and that's what matters.

I’ve said this before, but I always found stories that frame heaven as “evil” and hell as “good” (or less bad) to be genuinely boring. I like more nuanced approaches to each realm.

I understand that for a lot of people, Christianity is a religion they like to criticize and mock, but I feel like if you don’t even understand the fundamentals of the religion, why even attempt to critique it?
