HOLY SHIT!!! I'M A DOCTOR NOW??

WOAH! so, I just graduated from med school and it's wild. the whole experience has been so surreal and unbelievable but here we are.

also, I turned 24 today?? how is the time going so fast??

I remember the first day of med-school as if it was yesterday and now suddenly it's all over and i'm an actual responsible adult human being who is responsible for people's lives...

I just re-read that all over again because i still can't believe it.

I hope I can power through all the challenges that I'll face in the near future and am able to get a decent score so that I can specialize further in an inspiring field.

Med-school has been a bittersweet journey, full of ups and downs, but that's how life's supposed to be, otherwise it's no fun

just wanted to give a life update (after being missing from here for like 2 years lol)

so the thing is, i've been in recovery for over a year now. it's entirely possible that, originally entirely unintentionally, this time is for keeps, that this will last as long as me. & 90% of me thinks that's really nice, & it is nice, not to be dying & not to have my every waking thought consumed by ED, & fuck, man, i got into medschool. & now i have to go to medschool & that's not compatible w an ED, not exactly. so that's the plan, but if you have an ED you know abt the 10% that misses it & it's not the 10% that just wants to lose some of that recovery weight in a sustainable way & get fit, no, it's the 10% that misses being sick, that misses being anorexic & miserable & sick, and i think that nostalgia will also stay as long as me. it'll always be the insanely abusive ex you were so in love with & feel ashames to admit you sometimes still miss.

anyway i've been thinking about how there's some of my ED memes that ik got popular enough to leave tumblr & get shared on forums & stuff, & the thing is, a part of me will always be a part of this community, like, a piece of me is on the internet forever in this space & that feels fucked up but also somehow appropriate, bc just like i contain every younger version of myself like a russian doll, i contain that past version of me as well.

anyway. life is good, actually. it's good, recovery is worth it. if you want to do it but also don't, just tell yourself you'll do it for a month & then relapse. & then keep telling yourself that indefinitely

hello, my name is alls, i'm twenty-five years and i'm a full time student at medschool and also head nurse in training. my time here is limited but i'm trying to be around when i can and when i have the time or days off. i'm from europe and my timezone is pretty shitty.
