#69 | Picasso's secret
“The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”—Pablo Picasso. Spanish painter Pablo Picasso was born in October 1881 and died in April 1973. Assuming he became an artist in earnest at age 13, he had about 30,000 working days. Yet he created over 50,000 individual pieces of work. That’s more than a piece of work. Every. Single. Day. “Inspiration exists, but…

Mindful Living: The Secret to a Happier, Healthier, More Fulfilling Life
What is Mindful Living?
Mindful living is the practice of paying attention to the present moment without judgment. It is a way of being aware of your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without getting caught up in them. Mindfulness can help you to reduce stress, improve your focus, and increase your self-awareness.
Mindfulness Living in the Present
When you live mindfully, you are aware of your surroundings and your experiences in the present moment. You are not caught up in the past or the future, but you are fully present in the here and now. This can help you to appreciate the beauty of the world around you and to connect with your own inner peace.
Meditation Living in the Present
Meditation is a powerful tool that can help you to develop mindfulness. There are many different types of meditation, but all of them involve focusing your attention on the present moment. This can be done by focusing on your breath, your body, or your thoughts. Meditation can help you to reduce stress, improve your focus, and increase your self-awareness.
How to Live a Mindful Life
There are many ways to live a mindful life. Here are a few tips: - Practice mindfulness meditation. This is a great way to train your mind to focus on the present moment. - Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings. When you notice that your mind is wandering, gently bring it back to the present moment. - Be aware of your body. Notice the sensations in your body as you go about your day. - Be present in the moment. When you are doing something, give your full attention to it. Don't let your mind wander to the past or the future. - Be kind to yourself. If you find yourself getting caught up in your thoughts or feelings, simply notice it and gently bring your attention back to the present moment.
How to Be Mindful and Live in the Moment
Here are some specific actions you can take to be mindful and live in the moment: - Take a few deep breaths. This will help you to calm your mind and body and to focus on the present moment. - Pay attention to your surroundings. Notice the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of your environment. - Be aware of your thoughts and feelings. Notice what you are thinking and feeling without judgment. - Be present in the moment. When you are doing something, give your full attention to it. Don't let your mind wander to the past or the future. - Be kind to yourself. If you find yourself getting caught up in your thoughts or feelings, simply notice it and gently bring your attention back to the present moment.
Conclusion
Mindful living is a journey, not a destination. It takes time and practice to develop mindfulness. However, the benefits of mindful living are well worth the effort. Non-judgmental Ease
I’m off this week. I don’t take a lot of time off so it’s worth mentioning. I decided that in my pursuit of Ease this year, I probably should actually take time off occasionally. In the first month of.focusing on my word for the year, I quickly found that dedicated self-care brought huge amounts of Rase to my life. I couldn’t believe how two how’s of taking care of myself brought Ease to my…

The power of now.
My friend got roughly robbed on the night stage yesterday at music festival and with strangers who were abused the same way we were chasing the robber for several hours before the dawn broke the morning.
It was only the start of the trip, the vacation we were looking forward to spending happily at the festival, meeting the sun with kindness and good music, getting to know each other better and creating core memories with peace, light and love. Somehow the world got mad that day and we ended up in police unit on interrogation.
Even though I was planning and dreaming about this particular day, how would I spend my early morning rocking along my fav music, feeling the first beams of sunlight on my skin that peeked through trees and smelling the fresh air blown from high mountains that were surrounding us, I feel no sorrow, sadness or anger right this moment. Knowing how disappointed and down I would be several months ago, I’m very amused and grateful I’m in ease with the nowness as it is and myself as well right now.
I feel like the spiritual experience I have been having and the last two books, I have read had me prepared for this exact moment. Prepared me to be alert, conscious, non-judgmental and open. I feel how sharp and mobilized my mind is and how unattached I am from all these situations. I believe that the now is the only real version of the reality that “should” be existing regardless the “bad” and “upsetting” points in the story. We have been so lucky not to have our lives and safety under risk that moment like others in the same dance floor or even in other places far away from here like Gudauri.
I’m grateful for the peace universe has put me in step-by-step in which I can allow the present moment to be whatever the way it is.
I just wanted to save and share with you the feeling of easiness, simplicity and serenity I’m experiencing in me right mow.🌸

"They" And "Them" Are Correct Pronouns For Those Who Choose To Use Them
“They” And “Them” Are Correct Pronouns For Those Who Choose To Use Them
I stand corrected and took down a previous post where I was misinformed. I sought the wisdom of Dr. Paul M. Zusky, a psychiatrist whose office I used to work in as a front desk secretary in Milford, before his current location in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts; and is still affiliated with Milford Regional Medical Center. He received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and…

Embracing Fear in the Journey to God-Realization
Finding Harmony in Human and Divine ExperiencesFear, often perceived as a negative emotion, does not simply vanish upon reaching a state of God-realization or profound spiritual awakening. This insight sheds light on a profound truth about our human experience: we are here to embrace the full spectrum of life, including emotions and experiences that seem to contradict our divine nature. The…

what I mean when I say I'm tired of people making found families into nuclear families:
among other things, it's kind of annoying when people act like the romantic couple are automatically the "most obvious" candidates to adopt a kid; or act like a pair of people in a romantic relationship can't happily co-parent a kid with people outside of that romance
what I don't mean when I say I'm tired of people making found families into nuclear families:
people using "siblings" or "parent and child" as a shorthand (or even non-shorthand) for characters' relationships sometimes

"Today I will not stress over things I can't control or change." Said the tree.
"Trying to control what cannot be controlled, brings nothing but suffering. A tree that cannot bend will crack in the wind. whatever the present moment contains, always work with it.Be friendly with it. Because when you are friendly with it, you are friendly with yourself.” Added the tree.

Scenerio: The crew stays at a motel
Hunter y/n: *sneaking in through their window*
Vanessa: *turning in her chair and flicking the light on* You want to tell me where you've been all night?
Hunter y/n: I-I was with Eclipse?
Cryptid Eclipse: *turning in their chair* Wanna try again?
Honestly, it would be nearly impossible for Y/N to slip away from Eclipse, the boys being able to sense Y/N's heartbeat and all, but I do get a kick out of the thought of Vanessa catching them both out like teenagers sneaking back home well after curfew
Vanessa: Why didn't you tell me you two were leaving?
Y/N: I'm sorry, Nessie. You had fallen asleep and we didn't want to bother you but we wanted to stargaze.
Vanessa: *looks at Eclipse*
Eclipse: *very happy, practically glowing with love*
Vanessa: *sighs* Just wake me up and let me know next time, okay?
