Before I shuffled, I couldn’t help but feel lonely, like there’s this pang in my chest whenever I think of life and the current state of the world. It reminds me of the term “loneliness epidemic” and how so many of us are struggling to make friends or maintain pre-existing relationships. I think you are beginning to find emotional fulfillment in different things than you did before. Nothing may have worked out - at least, the things that used to work out aren’t working out anymore. There’s this voice inside of you begging for a new beginning, for clarity, and it’s slow but surely coming towards you. Where your energy is will wildly depend on how much you’ve listened to that inner voice already, but it’s a calling towards something new, regardless.

I think you’re scared because you haven’t done this before. You may be discovering things about yourself as well that are quite surprising, like new hobbies or gifts. It’s refreshing too, both painful and refreshing. Sort of like the concept of growing pains - growing up is not easy and there are no guidelines, no roadmaps. Often, we discover things through trial and error.

You may have withdrawn your energy as well, especially from old social circles. I get the feeling you were unsatisfied. Things felt stuck. They may still feel stuck, boring and completely lost in the routine of it all. It’s okay. You’re growing. Bones can hurt when they heal and grow. The same goes for you. I see snakes here, shedding their old skin. In your case, I don’t think you have found a “new skin” already, but you’ve shed your old life either way. It’s okay to want more, pile one. It’s okay to change. We’re ever-evolving. What suited you then won’t suit you now, that’s how life goes, with the changing of the seasons. However, during her childhood, she'd grown a love for singing. She would sing all the time, to the point the people around her would get annoyed of it. Though they couldn't deny that she had a beautiful voice. This is when her parents decided to make use of her talents by putting her in their services choir. Due to this, Mijoo and her family quickly became notable members of their church.

In one night, she would quickly leave her family behind, writing notes specifically for her sisters and mother. She vowed to provide for them once she makes it where she wants to be in life. She began training with Fleury and was even sent to participate in the 2018 survival show PRODUCE 48 as POPPY where she would ultimately rank #18, unfortunately not making it into the lineup. After training with the ensemble, she would debut as Envie's beloved MAIN VOCALIST, LEAD DANCER, and VISUAL.

My solar return chart of 2023 and how it went

Moon in gemini 1st house: 2023 was a year were I was very emotional, I had a lot of emotional up and downs, a total rollercoaster, since it was in gemini, I really reflected a lot on my emotions a lot and maybe even detached myself from them, but most of the time I was just very accepting of them and I let them flow. Since gemini is a mutable sign, I tried new makeup styles, new clothes styles, tried new hairstyles and got a failed haircut lmao.

Mars in cancer 2nd house: my self esteem was flunctuating a lot throughout the whole year, I gotta say that at the beginning of the year it was pretty stable, in the middle of the year was pretty bad and I regained back my confidence in October, I also started trying to find jobs but none called me back🥹Finances were also not stable at all.

Lilith in leo 3rd house: i was very active on social media this year which maybe without me knowing attracted some level of jealousy? I got into some arguments with friends online but we resolved it by talking it out. I also wanted attention on social media and followers and likes were kind of important for me, just because of comparison tbh, but we are good now, numbers mean nothing.

Vertex & SN in scorpio 6th house: My daily routine changed a lot in 2023, I began to add things into my daily routine that could help me have a more stable start of the morning, they will definetly will be kept doing in 2024, in terms of jobs, I didn't work throughout the year but I did try to find some.

Pluto in capricorn 8th house: I started to feel comfortable with my emotions and I also started to write a lot more, journaling more, I learned a lot about psychology, followed people who added value into my healing journey and people who talked about the stuff i was learning about.

Neptune & saturn in pisces 10th house: I feel like these placements were the ones at fault for me not getting any job in 2023 despite me trying to work 🥹😭Saturn when I catch you Saturn...Saturn when I catch you Saturn....I also wanted to work at jobs which I could've regretted working at if I actually got them thanks to neptune...lol. The thing I wanted was maybe not good for me and neptune just blurred a lot of my decisions when it came to work terms.

Sun, chiron, jupiter & mercury in Aries 11th house: like I said before, a very active year for me in social media, I posted a lot on my ig but at the same time a year were I compared myself to people online. I also spent more time with my friends and went out more, tried new things that I'd never did in my life, learned new things, my dreams and optimism this year were big. 2023 might have been the year where I went out the most with my friends. I also got to try new foods all very yum! I started to take morning walks with my friend every Monday and Friday at almost the end of the year and I gave her a lot of advice on how to stop procrastinating and actually committing to the stuff you put your mind into. I also have to say that I kind of stopped talking with some friends which I used to talk to and call with almost every day which made me think of cutting them off, I didn't let my impulses take over because I know I would've regretted it, I also cut contact with an ex friend of mine of 2021 due to disagreements of the genocide going in Palestine, funny because the original ruler of the 11th house is aquarius and aquarius is all about humanitarian causes so it all makes sense now.

Uranus, venus & NN in taurus 12th house: a very stable year mentally for me but due to uranus also being there it kinda shook it so thats why there were some ups and downs but I always got better. My dreams were also very weird and very vivid, almost prophetic too, I had a lot of prophetic dreams in 2023, I remember a dream I had back in February were I saw some snow on the mountains and 3 or 4 days later it snowed after like 5 years without snow!!! I also began to write them down too, wether in the notes app or on paper, it really helped a lot.

Welcome to the Shadow of the Eclipse

October 4-31, 2023

Some introductory notes

The “shadow of the eclipse” is a time period lasting from 10 days before the first eclipse, to three days after the final eclipse. It is recommended not to start anything new, or schedule anything important, during these days - as usual I refer everyone to the 1981 wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to the Prince of Wales, as an example.

Of course we live in a place/time which scoffs at letting astrology help with the timing of events - therefore don’t lose hope if something falls unavoidably within the eclipse shadow. Just be prepared.

I wanted to take a more thorough approach to delineation, this time. I hope it’s helpful.

South Node Solar Eclipse

A solar eclipse happens when the New Moon lies close (in the Zodiac) to either the North Lunar Node, or to the South one. It occurred to me to do a little research on whether which Node is involved, makes any difference - and yes, it does.

Astrologers call the South Node “the dragon’s tail” - Steven Forrest calls the South Node, “the dragon’s butt” - because here we are “pooping out” what we don’t need and can’t use. (One person’s poop, however, is another person’s fertilizer.)

Eclipses conjunct the South Lunar Node, like the October 14 one, have an outflowing (outpooping?) of energy. They tend to feature external events which we have to “rise up to.”

Going down that list was a very uncomfortable trip down memory lane for me. When those South Node eclipses affected me, it was generally a harbinger of some difficult “external event” which I had little to no control over - which is not the same thing as saying “it wasn’t my fault.” I brought some of it on myself due to bad decisions. Some karma chickens coming home to roost, in other words. Not all of them were dire, though. One in particular gave me something of a respite from what had been happening in my life - it was conjunct my natal 12th House cusp.

Saros Series “7 South”

This eclipse is part of Saros Series “7 South.” Bernadette Brady writes,

The individual experiencing this series will find that huge obstacles will suddenly and easily clear or, on the negative side, a pending potential crisis will suddenly manifest and move through his or her life very rapidly. Either way the individual will feel that everything is moving at great speed. (The Eagle and the Lark)

Whatever Shall We Do?

1) Determine which of your natal houses this eclipse falls in.

2) Determine whether the eclipse makes an aspect to anything in your chart. Use a 1° orb. In my case, the conjunctions, squares, sesquiquads (135°), inconjuncts, and oppositions made the most obvious impacts.

3) If there is a close aspect to a planet, check to see which house(s) that planet rules. One South Node eclipse was conjunct the ruler of my natal 4th House, and I moved three months later.

4) Avoid strenuously negative thoughts. If you put a lot of energy into anticipating that something is going to be horrible and painful and disastrous, well, guess what - that’s exactly what’s going to happen. If you catch yourself falling into a panic, try to refocus the energy into “the best possible outcome.”

Profection Year Observations: 8th year

These are my personal observations and experience, not facts! It’ll be different for everyone.

First and foremost let’s figure out how to analyze. You can def use the profection year chart and on Astro-seek it’ll pull up the info for you by you putting in your birth info.

Example: if you’re in an 8 year profection then the theme is death, rebirth, sex, taxes, debts, power, transformation, healing & other peoples money. But look to see in your natal which zodiac sign is in that house and who is the ruler of that house. It’ll provide more insight to see how you’ll get affected. As well as looking at your solar return.

March 7, 2021-March 7, 2022: In my 8 year via my natal chart the ruler is Jupiter (8th house is Pisces and I believe you use the traditional ruler) although 8th house can be a scary one (doesn’t have to be but it’s not really favorable like tbh who really looks forward to an 8th year? Lmao) but with Jupiter in there and in my natal it’s in my 12th in cancer which is exalted. In my solar return Jupiter was in my 1st house in Aquarius.

Observations:

I feel I did a lot of shadow work and self reflection (more than I usually do) ESPECIALLY after meeting who I think was a karmic in my 7th year. 8th is also an obsessive house because it’s naturally ruled by Scorpio.

So my 7th year was in 2020 of march when I turned 30. I did meet someone in February of 2021 (I was still in my 7th year because it was a few weeks before my birthday and 8th year) and he really affected me. We were both obsessed with each other and it was toxingly beautiful lmao I can’t explain. It felt karmic but I was grateful I didn’t suffer extreme heartache (I was sad of course) but Jupiter kept me safe. Also in solar return the ascendant was Aquarius and the guy I met is an Aquarius rising.

Money was up and down. I had it and then other days I didn’t BUT I was still not broke. I feel I was always protected regardless from debt. That’s Jupiter in 12th in my natal.

I did however have financial debt to pay which wasn’t overwhelming but it sucks to have it you know?

During the 8 year, I went through deep processes of growth and healing and discovered power dynamics both within myself and with others. I feel I shed a layer and transformed into a different version of myself.

Jupiter in the 1st in my solar was giving a positive for the most part year where it wasn’t the worst time because I still found myself jovial and having fun while growing. Shadow work was still in play. Also it was about gaining opportunities through action but my self esteem was pretty good. Especially as an Aquarius rising for that year- I loved being rebellious and feeling different. I think this is when I was more open about my astrology knowledge.

In regards to the power dynamics- I was working at a job where I felt powerless. It was toxic. It wasn’t the worst cause I still did well (at least in my opinion) I stayed positive but yeah it was still a struggle.

In regards to death- ego death for sure. Absolutely. But not to scare anyone. My mom did get sick with cancer (or she always had it but we didn’t know and it was too late when we found out) doctors did say she had a good survival rate despite it being on stage 4. Idk, toxic optimism? Lol. Anyways she did pass away 9 days after my birthday so it was the closure of the 8th profection. Please know this doesn’t have to happen to you also. I entered a 7 numerology year and that’s spiritual but also loss and hardship. Tbh I had a feeling I was gonna lose one of my parents. 😢😣

I’m currently in my 9 year which is ruled by mars in my chart and in my natal it’s in the 6th house in Capricorn. I am a day chart so mars is malefic BUT mars is EXALTED in Capricorn so it’s not all bad. In my solar return mars is in my 9th (I have a 9th stellium for my SR) I’ll do another observation with the 9th.

Energy Update: February 2023

February is a "9" universal month [2 (February) + 7 (2023) = 9] in a "7" universal year. The number 9 represents transitions and endings - it encapsulates the idea that "what comes around, goes around": as we finish something, we prepare ourselves to start something new. Nine is a reminder that we need to let go of what no longer serves us to make room for the new. This numerological energy is somewhat out of alignment with the astrological energy of February which is all about (finally) accessing forward progress as we have no planets in retrograde motion for the next three months. This is an indication that for many of us, the work to release the past isn't quite done yet.

The Set Up

We begin the month with our Sun and Saturn in Aquarius, Mercury playing catch-up in Capricorn along with Pluto, Venus and Neptune in Pisces, Mars playing catch-up in Gemini, Jupiter in Aries, and Uranus in Taurus. By the end of the month, the Sun will have moved into Pisces, Mercury into Aquarius, and Venus into Aries. All planets will be in direct motion all month long.

The Nitty Gritty February is going to start out with a bang that may or may not seem fun to you depending on what is going on in your life and how you process conflict. The full moon in Leo will reach its peak on Sunday 2/5 so it may feel a bit like the week of 1/30-2/5 just keeps building and building. There's sure to be a lot of tension in the air. All of the four days prior have intense pricky aspects in play that will all weave together to be brought to a head by egotistical Leo. I say this with all of the fondness in the world (I am a cat lover after all). But anybody who has even met a Leo should know that the Leo full moon of the year is the mooniest of all the moons, or, at least, that's what they would like you to believe. This is the kind of moon that might make you want to throw a party but, to be sure, it's also the kind that will make you want to cry if you want to. Though the Sun sextiles Chiron exactly on 2/1, the Wounded Healer will be very much in play all week long which means that all of our long-standing wounds will be lying close to the surface. Additionally, people aren't going to be getting along - Venus in Pisces will be square to Mars in Gemini whose still caught in his own post-retrograde shadow.

Somebody's not telling the truth.

That part is probably okay; Venus in Pisces lives for the lies and Mars in Gemini wants to see how much he can get away with. Despite the square, these two signs are not that dissimilar from one another. The conflict is a ruse but it's unlikely that anybody will realize that they are fighting about nothing.

Additionally, the Sun and Moon will make a t-square to Uranus who is sitting in the middle of Taurus. This is a week to fuck around and find out - Venus is also sextile to our North Node and the north node plus lunar energy will reactivate our eclipse energy. When we experienced our last set of eclipses, the Sun and Moon were in aspect with Uranus just like the Sun and Moon will be square to Uranus now. Things are going to be volatile.

All bets are off. Some people's lives will be changed. If you don't want that to be you, lay low during the first week of February leading into this upcoming full moon. But if you are ready to go: Go. Just remember to duck and watch your back, Uranus in Taurus is a natural disaster waiting to happen. This Sun-Moon-Uranus t-square is going to activate that Saturn-Uranus square energy that we experienced four times in 2021 and 2022. There's still a lot of energy pent up from the vice that Saturn square Uranus had our world in. Now, finally, it can move forward. Saturn is now far away from Uranus (almost out of Aquarius altogether, that'll happen in March) and we have three months ahead of us with every planet in our solar system in forward motion.

The time is now. (it always is but it really really is, I promise) If the first week of February was about the full moon and our out-of-season eclipse energy, the second week is all about Mercury who is lagging far behind the Sun and Venus as it finishes off its post-retrograde shadow in Capricorn. On Monday 2/6, Mercury will sextile Neptune in Pisces for the third and final time before exiting its shadow on 2/7 and finally meeting up in conjunction with Pluto on Friday 2/10. This is a reunion of old friends- 2022 began with both Mercury and Venus retrograde in a butterfly pattern around Pluto in Capricorn. Whatever has happened since that first Mercury retrograde of 2022, its cycle completes now. Mercury enters Aquarius on Saturday, 2/11. Planetary ingresses always tend to shift energy but this change will likely be even more palpable than normal. Expect people to get chattier for a week as both the Sun and Mercury share the same sign but the sun moves on into Pisces on Saturday 1/18. The third week of February looks to be a bit challenging as the Sun meets up with Saturn in late Aquarius, Venus meets up with Neptune in Pisces, and Mercury activates the lunar nodes. There's a reconning to be had here, but Venus in Pisces has a delicate temperament and may not want to look at the truth. Beware of putting your head in the sand to avoid seeing the truth. Mercury is playing well in sextile to Jupiter so things could work out for you, but you will need to go in with eyes wide open.

This is a week when you may need to pay the piper, whatever that means for you. The new moon on Monday 2/20 shows that the waters of Pisces are going to rise fast. There's pain in the air (Mercury sextile Chiron) but Venus is blazing on ahead into Aries and still not looking. This moon is going to be moody AF. Bring some tissues or maybe a mop. Everybody's gonna get wet. Tuesday 2/21 is a good day for pathworking or trying to beat the odds as Mercury in Aquarius squares off against Uranus in Taurus. Well, a good day if you like a game of chance, anyway. Good luck is not guaranteed. Sometimes that's the point. The rest of the week is soft and squishy as it always is when only the moon makes aspects with the personal planets. Don't expect to get a lot done this week, or perhaps, not a lot done easily. The Sun will make a sextile to the North node on Saturday 2/25, it could be a hint of what's to come if you are open to that sort of possibility. The end of February just fades away like a dream that you can't quite remember.

According to ‘insider resources’ from within honeyco it was revealed that Jia was never the companies first pick as leader. And that the position was supposed to go to a different trainee, Ari, a former honeyco trainee turned college professor. She was loved and adored since photos and a dance practice video were released of her on honeyco’s official page. And before Mira’s debut it was rumoured that she would take the role of leader. Pre-debut fans and Netizens were heavily disappointed when Jia was released in her place. In their debut era Jia even received death threats and slander for having replaced Ari.

Jia has the most dating rumors surrounding SM entertainment, seeing as she was a former SM trainee, and nearly debuted in SuperM and Aespa. Luckily for her and Honeyco netizens debunked these accusations very quickly, reminding the internet of Jia’s statement in 2021, that she had cut ties with the company and it was rare for her to come into contact with their workers and idols. She lovesick and hurt, this leads to the biggest hole in mira relationship. Jia is in insufferable pain, and every time she sees Nagyung her heart feels heavy, speared by betrayal.

Jia enjoys her personal space, her personal time. So much so that she has all the other members, except Daiyu, blocked. She has since 2021, their debut year. She found their barking useless, and would prefer to just be the leader of the group in front of fans instead of having to constantly be the thing holding the group together. Venus in Exaltation

Coming up, Venus in Pisces, and I need a break from writing about Saturn...respectfully. This is one of my favorite things about each year! On January 26th until February 20th Venus will be in Dreamy Pisces.

This is a transit we have all been needing and deserve! Especially after the Venus-Pluto conj kicked off the Gregorian year.

As you can guess, I have mixed feelings about the amplified narrative of what it means for a planet to be exalted, particularly in nativity, but it doesn't change the fact this is very auspicious.

You can reflect back on these times in your life to see how the world was happening for you:

Venus will be in conj with Saturn as they make their way to and with their separation you will feel a release on the constrictions that have been around desire, finally skirting off before Saturn enters Pisces.

You see, I can't get away from Daddy Saturn--you should see my chart...

Pisces sees the world as a beautiful array of Technicolor flowing beyond horizons, the lens is different here than the rigidification we have been balancing these last months.

I imagine it to be how we assume Honey Bees see flowers.

When Venus enters they bring heightened benevolence & forgiveness.

The balance to this is forlorn & insatiable, not being able to sort out what it is your taste buds are craving or sensing; that it is just out of reach in this vast ocean. Remember, I said it can't be all good!

There are no borders or boundaries here, a perplexing Utopia. We want to believe that the world really is this affectionate and magical. Pisces becomes more tricky as we get older, I feel--not mercurially so, but in that this is where Memory & Dream lives.

When Venus is here it can be the feeling of your first love before you knew heartache. OR The sensation of peeling the plastic from new electronics. Venus is excessively devoted and compassionate in Pisces. Giving to the extent of sacrifice. During this time there is a deeper appreciation toward the unusual aspects of the world--for this is the reason disheveled hair can look poetic, or when a near-death occurrence presents itself Venus in Pisces will say, "the sparkle on the river, was so beautiful through"...I might live with a Venus in Pisces, so true story.

Starry eyes

The epitome of Romanticism, pulling you in with the siren's song. I think that the world has felt lost in certain aspects, and just for a time we get to feel & can lean into the pleasure of swimming in warm waters.

Some say idealistic, I beg to differ in the manifestation, but maybe Romantic Idealism. I think of the Sense of Beauty itself and when that emotional individualism is the height of value. Even within this conceptually, idealism is the opposite of materialism, and Venus themself is the aesthetic of material creation. Consider Plato to Kant's dialogue of Beauty.

When thumbing through philosophers, history, and media as I attempt to delineate my thought, on what I mentioned can't be described, so many the examples popping into my head have Venus in Scorpio with Moon in Pisces--I find this very curious, since, you know, beauty is subjective and all. So who makes the list? Jesus, Epstein, and the Queen Mum herself--take that for what you will, I suppose.

Let yourself fall in love, recapture childhood wonder, remember what compassion can feel like -- remind yourself that divine hope still exists in the world & that it can take shape to fly in artistic resonance.

My advice on the Downside of this Dream--if your desire is to capture the fireflies of the evening star; make sure they're not a moorage before you drink sand. Some things are too good to be true. Enjoy yourself by taking your time in being present, so as not to trip into baptismal fire.

Bewitching your world through Venus

If you have worked with Venus, never have, or are a devotee this is the perfect time to amplify and soar. It could be through a dedicated altar to timing your self-care--it is up to you, your comfort level in praxis & construction.

The best times to do certain source work with a planet is when it is in its home sign, so in the case of Venus when dignified or Moon is in the signs of, Taurus & Libra. When a planet is Exalted it is like they are the guest of honor, placed upon a pedestal--so please keep this in mind. There are drastic differences between the magic of source work/creation & ritual. Take the time to learn what house Venus is transiting for you, how this articulates, and if there are planets that live there in your chart that may dampen the vibe. When a planet is in exaltation they do not have its own resources so the tide can turn from a raindrop. This is just my note of caution to move within your skill set. Venus moves into Pisces Friday, January 26 at 6:32 pm PST, and the first full day just so happens to in great timing for working with this lustrous planet. The days of Friday, and Monday after Sunset, in the hour of Venus.

White or green (traditionally) cloth or paper (with this movement I have found dreamy purples and blues are wonderful, hence the above images)

One or Seven white or green candles (seven is the number of Venus)

Seven pennies and/or something copper

Malachite (also has copper), rose quartz, emeralds, diamonds, green jade

Floral scents: perfume, essences, essential oils, incense

A mirror

A green pen to draw out the below and/or petitions

Offerings of sweet things like honey, macaroons (are a fav of mine), sweet wines, fresh fruit, sugary confections & flowers, I also, always, include fresh water. Offer these based on your means, this isn't meant to break the bank. And when (if you ask) your petition is made offer something in accordence, presenting it next time as fufilling your contract. These things can also be dedicated time--as this is a currency of exchange, a song, a poem, or dance. Anything the Muses oversee, really.

Keep in mind you can use some of these suggestions, or all of them. Sure, there are workings that do require more precise instructions--this is not that.

In all things, it's more about how you show up. Take a cleansing bath or shower and get ready like you're going out to impress. Whatever this looks like for you--embrace your Venus sign, since this is when you will feel the most confident! Pull out all the stops.
