Heaven and Dervann (mutual piners to the extreme)

Heaven is part of this three person group of her, a healer (girl), and the leader who uses a sword (guy). She has a crush on the leader and knows it’s not requited so she just... keeps it to herself. Then one day the leader appears with Dervann and is like “hey guys I got a mercenary to boost our strength” and Heaven is like “ok”. Then the healer and leader start to date and Heaven is left with the mercenary as “odd men out” kinda? Very often. So the two form a bond and it clicks one day that oh my gosh I like this person A Lot.

So Heaven’s view is “he’s literally here for money NOT ME therefore I DON’T STAND A CHANCE ahaha”. Dervann’s view is “I’m literally paid to be here and NOT as a friend therefore I DON’T STAND A CHANCE ahaha”.

And they pine for like the entire plot.

Solstice on the Isle of Aldharcach

My holiday adventure lives!

Solstice is an adventure/hex pamphlet designed for use with Himbos of Myth & Mettle (but could easily be adapted for any game). The details of the adventure can all be randomly rolled including the truth about what has happened to the horned god. It's got random encounters,weird creatures, and some cool NPCs! It's a balance of dark winter adventure and campy Himbo humour.

It also incorporates session wrap downtime activities inspired by the wiccan traditions i grew up with - one of them is an actual thing we did every year (guesses?)

It's PWYW and I would love to hear if you give it a play through!

Ok, just thinking out loud, but maybe we should let the Great Old Ones out.

I'm just saying. Lovecraft wasn't exactly an unbiased source. Maybe they're perfectly nice. Maybe they just want to stop people saying slurs. Maybe they're just Welsh.

I'm not saying I want the world to end, but I think that it would be a decent compromise to maybe unseal one or two of the smaller ones, just to see what happens. I bet we could put them back if there's a problem. And maybe they'll give us candy!

If it's just one of them, and maybe just for the weekend, it'll be fine. Come on, guys. What's life without a little risk?

Newest development from our rpg table:

the baseballbat swinging wizard (who is very gay) will probably soon be getting it on with the gladiator who posed as his sugar baby at the poisoner's party. in other news,

the elven girl and the witch adopted a mountain lion as their daughter and we kicked out the mysogynistic fighter.

More news on this next Tuesday.
