Hello !! Today, we’re answering a request from my friend @wolfbrideinhiding for my 6k event: “Oh my, congrats for 6k again! That’s a huge milestone 🤍 The celebration provided some delicious options 👀 It was very difficult to choose only one but how about: Sam Adams + Bodyguard AU + fake dating?”

Summary: you and Sam have an argument when your safety is at risk, and your brilliant plan to pretend to be his fiancée backfires.

Sam Adam’s Masterlist – Main Masterlist

It’s snowing again on Boston. Nothing surprising for the early days of February. The air is crisp, it almost feels solid as it penetrates your lungs. You draw patterns in the empty space before you as you breathe. The stars are quiet tonight, barely there at all, even though there are no clouds. They’re quiet, like the city.

So strange that the world had come to a stand-still, when everything in the secret room where Sam was hiding was trembling.

This was a terrible, terrible idea to begin with, but what else could you do? Sam was in danger, and a deadly one: red coats were looking for him, and the best thing you had come up with, on the spot, when trying to find him an excuse to explain why he was in the streets of Boston at an ungodly hour was… that the two of you had a secret affair.

You didn’t think of the consequences as you lied to the soldiers who had cornered the two of you in a dark alley the day before. You looked for an excuse, and preferably something that the soldiers would not question further. So, you had stood your ground, looked at them in the eyes and proclaimed that Sam and you were heading to your house to spend the night together.

Of course, you had not thought of the consequences this declaration would have on your reputation, but rumours were spreading already across town. And you had not predicted Sam’s reaction to your lie either, and yet… there you were, listening to his growling voice as he struggled to be quiet, afraid that his words could get caught by eavesdropping ears, and yet fury alit in his eyes and tone.

“What happened into your stupid head?!” he hissed. “Have you lost your mind?”

“I’m sorry that I’ve saved your arse!”

“I did not need saving!”

“No, of course not! You would have taken these five soldiers all on your own and then disappeared into the night like a magician!”

“I did not ask for your help!”

“And I did not ask for you to recklessly walk the streets of Boston when every soldier in town is looking for an excuse to arrest you, and yet, there you were! What were you even doing there last night, Sam?!”

“I was protecting you!”

You huffed, clearly annoyed as your hands came to your hips.

“I don’t need you to protect me! You’re the source of all my troubles, in case you haven’t noticed!”

He winced at that, and you were surprised by it.

“No need to remind me,” he mumbled through gritted teeth. “You shouldn’t have come here tonight, it isn’t safe for you…”

“Well, then stop getting into so much trouble!”

“Why can’t you just stay away from me?!”

It took you an extra second to recover, pull up your mask once again. You couldn’t let out the way you felt, the way you wanted him, the way you wished the lie you had told the soldiers the day before could be the truth, no matter how outrageous it would be. If only you could control your stupid heart as easily as you could your expression…

“Because someone has to keep you alive, you idiot!”

He rolled his eyes at that, pinching the bridge of his nose between his fingers in annoyance.

“Besides, yesterday night, you were the one following me across town!” you went on, reminding him of the circumstances that had led to this mess you were now struggling in.

He clenched his jaw, but nodded.

“So, you would have preferred that I let you get killed?”

“Get killed? No one has tried to hurt me yesterday!”

“There are words on the street. You’re in as much trouble as I am. Boston isn’t safe for you either.”

“So, you’re playing bodyguard now?”

“As your stubbornness in remaining in Boston paints a target on your back… yes, I am!”

“You’re so bloody annoying!”

“I’m just getting started.”

You both heaved a sigh in unison, and you shook your head. On the table, the lantern’s light was trembling, as if it could feel the cold in the room and was shivering as well.

“This is ridiculous. We only have to deny that I ever said that we were having an affair. It’s the words of Red Coats against mine, after all…”

“Our friends might believe us, but no one else will. Every respectable person in town will shun you away. You will lose your reputation, you could lose everything… But I guess… there is nothing else we can do.”

“If we deny our excuse, you will be arrested… we can’t do that…”

“You can’t lose your reputation.”

“A reputation is not as vital as an unbroken neck.”

“I will not be executed, they don’t have anything to charge me with, or I would already be in jail.”

“And you want to go to jail?”

“No…”

“You want to leave Boston?”

“No…”

“Then we pretend to be together, until things calm down.”

“Things will not calm down. Nothing will calm down. On the contrary, things will only get worse. You cannot be caught into this.”

“It’s my choice to make.”

“I won’t always be around to protect you.”

“I was never asking for your protection in the first place.”

“Y/N…”

“Is that so unbearable to you, that people might think you fell for me?”

He laughed at that, so taken aback that all he could do was stare at you with wide eyes and let out a breathy laugh.

“You are the one who should not be associated with me.”

“Sam…”

“I am nothing. I know perfectly well that there is nothing I could give you but shame. You cannot associate your name with mine.”

“You’re a good man, Sam.”

“I was once. I don’t know if I have that in me anymore.”

He heaved another sigh.

“Just… go home, Y/N. Go home and deny everything. With a bit of luck, people will believe you.”

“But Sam…”

“If you care at all about me, you’ll do as I say. It’s hard enough to keep myself alive, I can’t be worrying about you all the time too.”

You didn’t know what to answer to such a statement. Instead, you headed towards the door.

Your hand on the doorknob, you turned one last time towards him, your voice barely more than a whisper.

“I wouldn’t be ashamed to have my name associated with yours, Sam.”

His back was to you, and he didn’t turn to see you leave, to see you walk out the door and close it behind you. Good. He didn’t want you to see the longing in his eyes…

[a/n: any time a sons of liberty request graces my inbox I jump with joy,]

With the light pouring through the window, it’s hard enough to ignore the fact you have to get up, let alone the body that sprawled itself across you, trapping you to the bed.

“Sam,”

You whisper, as if there was another person you were trying to be quiet for. Shaking off the sleepy feeling, you shrug your shoulders, attempting to get his attention.

Lazily, he blinks his eyes open, his arms tightening around your chest as he fully wakes.

“Must you? It’s so early.”

“I wouldn’t have to, if you would so kindly let me free.”

Your eyes do the gesturing, bouncing down to his arms, then moving back to his unwavering brown stare.

“I’m good, thanks for asking,”

You huff, watching as he closes his eyes once more, just about to drift back to sleep, when you attempt to roll him off your back.

“y/n, there’s really no point. It’s just not happening today.”

Samuel almost sounds amused, kissing your cheek affectionately as you groan, rolling your eyes before slipping away from his hold.

“Damn. Did not think you would go under the covers.”

“I would love to stay, you know that.”

He sits up, moving to rest on the edge of the bed as he watches you get ready for the day with a patient look in his eye.

“I know. Though, it’s worth a try, every morning.”

Once you run a brush through your hair, turning around to kiss Sam goodbye, he’s standing right behind you, one more trick up his sleeve.

“Sam—“

“Oh, please, y/n? I’d get down on my knees and beg,”

His pout is almost irresistible, yet, you look just past him to the clock on the wall and find that you have not a minute for his shenanigans today.

“I’m sorry. Later, I promise.”

Your hand comes to his cheek, going to kiss him goodbye, when you find that his untamed brown locks fall towards your face, and you can’t help yourself but to twirl a strand around your index finger.

“Must’ve lost my tie.”

He mumbles, going to brush it away from his face, but you hum, bouncing to your tip toes as both your hands push the hair behind his ears.

“Never change.”

You whisper, kissing his cheek gently as your fingers fall from his hair, liking the way it looks resting on his shoulders.

“Likewise.”

Dating the angelic beings /being their soulmate (so being the only one that can see their wings)

Micheal/Adam milligan

Micheal is kinda protective over his wings at first

But when he met you he softened up

You seemed to want to see them all the time even when he hid them

So he let up

His wings are tuff and thick, not easily bent or moved

You still need to be gentle with them though

If you're to rough with them that will either 1 hurt him or 2 make him veryyy needy 😉

He likes being around you alot so when you're hunting or doing something and it gets to dangerous he will wrap his wings around you creating a little room where nothing could get through

When you have trouble sleeping hell wrap you in one of his wings like a burrito and it helps you sleep, it Also calms his and Adam's anxiety/nerves

AS SOON AS HE FIGURES OUT YOU CAN SEE HIS WINGS WITH OUT LOSING YOURE EYES HE FUCKING GETS WILD!

He's legit so f*cking happy you can see them without any reproductions

He always has a wing covering you're back

When you sleep or hug or kiss his he holds you tightly to his body and wraps his wings as close as he can without hurting you

He refuses to let you sleep outside of his wings

In public if you're shy he will guide you with his wings

Some times if you're hunting with like Sam or Dean and it gets to dangerous he will wrap his wings around you them telaport you to the thrown room in hell and play doctor/patent with you being to over dramatic making sure you not hurt AT ALL

His wings are sturdy and buff the are soft but not gentle

They are strong af, and they basically are everything proof

But if you touch or tickle his wings the right way, Here ->

The have huge span just like the other archangels, basically all the archangels wings reach to about 54 feet wide and 32 feet tall in my mind

I mean castiel says that his true form is the size of the Chrysler Building in New York, which is 1047 feet (319m) in height and he's just a angel so 1 imagine how big his wings are let alone how archangels are much bigger then regular angels so they could easily be like 2000 feet tall in true form.

Gabes wings are soft and gentle they often have a mind of their own and sway to music

Questions you when he figures out you can see his wings

Is happy you can see them but doesn't show it

He usually has a wing around you bc he protective

He's not that open to pda but if you're affectionate alot then he will be too

He matched you're energy so you don't dis like him

One time you two where laying in bed and you were trying to fall asleep but couldn't due to how cold it was and you told Raphael, he let you use his wing as a blanket. He just opened his wing and guided you on how to Lay down on it and then wrapped you up in it

You fell asleep quickly due to the softeners and warmth

Now it's you're favorite thing to do

If you touch his wings without his knowledge his wings likely accidentally zap you a little bit

So always give him warning when touching his wings or else it might end up badly

He loves you alot but is very chill and doesn't want to have much pda, but if you do want alot of pda his favorite way to show he loves you is through physical touch, meaning wing hugs

Oh also when you kiss him without warning his wings flap without him trying

He doesn't really believe the whole "soulmates" thing

But he he finds out about it he slowly starts to believe it more

He loved you even before he knew you two were supposed to be together

He grooms his wings alot, one time he had a hard time cleaning and area of his wings and you walked in, asked if you could help.

.... long story short you always groom his wings

His wings are strong yet soft

His feathers are like a super soft cats fur

When he's sad or angry massage his wings gently and it calms him down

If he's having a panic attack, hug him tightly and massage the base of his wings it will calm him

If you and him a near someone he doesn't trust guess what? ✨️wing burrito✨️

He likes rubbing his wings against you during sex bc it makes it more intense for him

He also rubs his wings against you when he tellaports so he doesn't scare you

When you sleep he puts his wings around you just so you're safe

Jack knew you can see his wings just by the way you looked at him

He loves you and loves having his wings around you

His wing is always touching you

When he's sad they droop

He loves you touching his wings but it makes him shudder

He fludders his wings when you walk in

If you're cold or sad he will wrap you in his wings and cuddle you whilst talking to you

He loves you dearly and the fact he can use his wings on/with you means alot to him

When Chuck created soulmates he didn't specifically much except "every being had a soul that is ment to be with them, they fit like puzzles together"

Alright I need some help getting my confidence back to posting my kinda okay writing. So I am asking you all to fill up messages/asks and send me requests for one shots or short stories that may or may not spiral into a series, or which of my series do you want a new chapter written?

I guess I should also mention my second page @coffee-shop-girl is where I would post my stories under and that is where they all live. Now you’re probably wondering why I am not posting this on that page? Well I don’t know how to get my message/ask section back. SOL!Sam Adams x reader

The peppermint candy sails across the table, landing just enough in Sam’s field of vision to get him to stop eating for one second, and glance up at you, surprised.

“Hey, that’s for the gingerbread house.”

“Not if you keep eating all of the decorations.”

The counter falls out easily, watching as Sam raises an eyebrow at the look you throw him.

“Are you mad because the house keeps falling down, or…?”

Sure, the frosting was not enough to hold the heavy cookie pieces together in any shape that remotely resembled a house. Sam had icing all over himself, sleeves rolled up and a green apron hung around his neck. You, on the other hand, had been trying to hold the roof together, but sighed when it just slid sadly off the base.

“I thought these kind of things were supposed to be fun.”

“Yeah, when the house actually stands on its own, y/n.”

He eats another one of those hard candies again, lips red from the dye.

“Here, I’ll give it another go.”

Motioning from the other side of the table, you slide the pieces his way, and stand up to go wash your hands.

“And where are you going?”

When you turn around, his eyes are still fixated on the icing he’s piping in a straight line.

“To wash my hands…?”

“Nah, c’mere. This is a two-person job.”

With his free hand, he pats his thigh, and you roll your eyes playfully.

“Alright, Sam. If you say so.”

Rounding the table and sliding onto his lap, you pick back up the roof pieces and work alongside him. Surprisingly, with Sam holding the base, and you the roof, the two actually stick.

It’s also very distracting the way he keeps reaching around you to steal candy out of the dish on your left.

“Sam—“

“I got you one,”

There’s half a candy-cane hanging between his lips, pouting gently so you’d catch on to what it is he wanted.

“No thank you, I’m good.”

It’s enough to get a smile rising on your lips, watching from the corner of your eye as the candy-cane sags downward in protest.

“C’mon babe,”

He tries once more, jutting the candy-cane forwards, to bump you gently on the cheek.

“I’d like to have some candy left to decorate the house with, Samuel.”

While you’re rather humored by the idea, Sam isn’t in the slightest. His pout even deepens, peppermint stick drooping considerably.

“Want kiss.”

Sam mumbles, as if he’s a child.

“Oh, alright.”

Turning, you lean and kiss him softly, in the process stealing the candy from between his lips.

“Mhmm hey—!”

It’s then he realizes, but it’s too late. His hands move away from the house and to your face, trying to steal the stick back.

“Half of that was mine, y/n!”

“I’m sorry—hey look! The house is standing!”

You both look at the shoddily built gingerbread house, but there’s one thing that’s important, it’s standing on its own.

“Nice.”

Sam puts a hand out, and you return the gesture with a high five.

“Let it set, then we’ll decorate. With whatever’s left.”

It’s enough to get Sam to laugh, and he places his sticky hands all over your waist.

“Sounds like a really good idea, y/n.”

When you turn to smooch him once more, there’s another piece of candy in his mouth.

“Sam, stop—!”

You walked in the area and walked around the cage you talked with luci and Michael then you talked with Adam, he was making jokes and was kinda happy you were there talking to him.

You flirted with him and Michael, they flirted back. You made a deal with them that you'd get them out and they would behave and not fight.

Micheal tried to say that they literally had to do this and that, and bs but you said "the fuck you do, either you listen and you don't pull shit or yall rot hear for eternity with eachothers bs" and thar scared them so they listened

They thought you where hot af, so they wanted to date you.

So they thought I'd they'd agree they would be able to date you

Of course they'd want to date you but not together they didn't talk about how much they liked you

Brings you a small bouquet of flowers.

He’s paying for the date (at least the first date), it's just how his mom raised him.

Defo the movie and a meal type.

Some kind of historical drama or action comedy.

Slushy with 2 straws, and the classic yawn and stretch into putting his arm around you.

If all else goes to crap, you can at least talk about the movie during dinner.

Dinner being pizza/burgers from the closest table service fast food place.

Charlie

No gift, actually, it's your job to bring a selection of snacks. (She will also be providing a selection of her own favourite goodies.)

Chips/crisps, candy, pizza.

Bring caffeine too because it's gonna be an all-nighter.

It’s a gaming sleepover – think RE6, overcooked, Mario Kart, Wolfenstein ET, or whatever multiplayer games you’re into.

All on her couch in your hand-made blanket fort, until you both crash, or find another, more intimate activity.

Dean

Won't bring you a gift but will pay for at least the first round of drinks.

Gotta be some unknown dive bar with 50 beers on tap, barrels for tables, greasy food, and a classic rock tribute band that goes hard.

Tasty food, good music, stunning company, what more could a man want.

Also, a pool/foos/hockey tables are a must.

The date itself, something active but competitive.

Axe throwing, paintball, maybe even go-karting or dirt biking.

Wants to show off for you.

If you struggle to keep up, he’ll give you pointers, help you improve, but won’t pretend to be bad/let you win.

I actually think he would really enjoy going to a museum or gallery.

He’s a smart guy, and he loves to learn, but so often it's under s time constraint, or it's specific.

But on a date, he gets to not only spend time with the person he loves

But he’s able to slowly, casually explore the museum, observing, and learning about each piece without it being for a case.

If you’re the kinda person that always carries a bag, he’d hold it for you all the way through, and hold your hand.

You’re gonna stop and look at everything he wants to look at, and he’s gonna do the same for you.

Heart eyes when you start dragging his mammoth height through the crowds when you get excited to see something.

Debrief and refresh afterwards at the closest café, where you can both gush about your favourite parts.
