the urge to talk about my ocs constantly is immense so i will
#mielmbles#mielsmocs#following my account in the summertime means you are subject to viewing posts where i obsess over these little weirdos which can be avoided#by blocking mielmbles and mielsmocs which is why i have those tags#okay so basically new little workd thing that only has three characters at the moment that im sooooo interested in omg thinking about them#constantly and it only popped up in my brain recently bringing my story total to like three that i haven’t gotten rid of#the main jist of it is this chick hears about a very powerful witch that is very popular in town and decides to see if theyre looking for#a student or help since shes always thought that magic was so cool but never really knew where to start so omg wow huge powerful and popular#witch must be a great choice for beginning erh wrong turns out the witch doesn’t even classify as a witch and is actually two witches that#switch off on a daily basis due to a curse inflicted by a past customer that makes it so one of them always has to be in animal form usual#cat but it varies and neither of them even classify themselves as witches nor do they know were their abilities come from of course the girl#doesn’t know that and its not like the witches can keep sending her off forever the girl is subborn as hell and they really don’t have much#patience so they let her in and have to bs a bunch of ways to learn magic and the such but again they have no clue what they’re doing and#tbh they’re really more like glorified herbalists/botanists that just happen to have some of the most powerful magic ever concieved so they#keep trying to find ways to get the girl out but it always backfires intensely#that’s about it for now probably more plot points later or smth#tbh this is probably the easiest time ive had coming up with a story and world ever and i’m really excited to keep thinking about it cuz i#think its so cool like i also have a bunch of little tidbits of the characters like how the witchs wear choir robes cuz when they were#younger their school kinda was shutting down for a few reasons so they snuck in and stole the robes cuz they really liked them#anyways yeah thats it i love them dearly and i can’t wait to see how my brain expands this later

Day 2 : Role Swap
Ok I have thoughts for this one bear with me. He’s a mage with a half-foot guild still but his activism is especially targeted towards half-foot mages specifically since they’re rare and so looked down upon (and the two are correlated).
Marcille scouts out places all Tomb Raiser style for lost treasures and knowledge, keeps maps and written info etc in her book. She’s still much of a scholar but more in an archeologist sense, she wants to discover the truth of dungeons and see if it could revolutionize the world. She’s a buildings and engineering nerd instead of magic nerd. She hypes herself up as a passionate cool rogue adventurer like in books✨ Chil thinks it’s a silly and unstable profession. All her um, grace and agility when doing headstands and dancing are coming through with this new role of hers.
Chil does need to borrow mana and so they hold hands a lot. I am so taking advantage of the mana transfer thing. "I’m out of mana, you’re an elf and you never use magic, give some to me! You have so much, don’t be selfish!!" -inparty fight breaks out as he chases after her and she runs away- I imagine that’s just kinda how he and half-foot mages roll? Dunmeshi-typical worldbuilding monologue that explains how "Most people don’t even use their mana, they don’t even learn magic. If you give me your mana I’ll be able to do more magic, win-win, no harm done." I imagine you have to be magic-savvy to be able to transfer mana to someone but it’s fine he can just steal it methinks 🌟 So he gets to be the one who’s very casual about physical touch. He does NOT want to be a healer it stresses him out but ah shit there Falin goes.

More AU details under cut
You’ve heard of onion knight now get ready for onion mage Y’know the saddest part of mage Chilchuck is that he wouldn’t use explosion spells
You know how Marcille uses her staff to grab people by the neck or head sometimes… Chilchuck would have a free choking stick he can use to make people listen to him. He can REACH THEIR NECKS . It doubles as a walking stick for his old man back… /j And a weapon, sort of. I think staff more than lance, but long weapons like that suit him I think. Holding the monster at bay with a 4 feet long stick like "Stay BACK!! Go for my party members shoo shoo!!!!"
From my observations, staffs for magic all have a ‘hole’ at one end, oh size, shape, material and form varying. For example both Marcille and Rin have a similar hoop, but Falin’s is a lantern which imo the metal frame of it and the glass form this hole I’m speaking of. Maybe it’s like, the staff condenses the magic inside the hole and helps channel it and give it form? What I’m saying here is I didn’t decide what it was made out of but I like to think it’s carved wood so it can be homemade but unique to him.
Marcille and Chil both fight in battles, but he stays where it’s safer and does long distance spells only. Marcile uses daggers probably… But yeah her role’s more being a scout rather than a fighter, while Chil’s role is being a magical fighter and his expertise on magical creatures and such.
I think he’d be self-taught, where it’s his own magic system… I think he likes theory more than vibes and working at the whims of creatures, so maybe elven with an half-foot script? He doesn’t seem like the type to get buddy-buddy with spirits much A bit like his cowl it’s like he always has a part of home with him a bit with his half-foot magic… He’d have sucked at the beginning, it’s pretty experimental magic, but he made it work and tbh he’s a Big Deal for it. Learning on the field ofc ofc he’s no honor student
I think the racial prejudices tension would be worse, because he’d be nervous of the whole ‘half-foots who get too curious about dark magic get taken away’, and I think as a half-elf who doesn’t do magic it might be uncomfortable for her to deal with how the half-foot is better at it than her and how her mana would have had better use with him instead of her? Idk brainstorming. I def think she’d habe more of a complex about being a half-elf… Still with existential dread and still Hopes to find a cure to death, but she goes about it through artefacts etc rather than magic. I’m unsure how her career would turn out that wqy exactly because job stability and academia are important to her, but yeah I think she went to school on an agricultural and history level and focused her research on that front? And then she could become that adventurer scholar who explores to pierce secrets of the world and ancient civilizations trope yeah I think that’s the angle.
Maybe his plans for the future after quitting being a dungeon diver would be teacher/mentor instead of shopkeeper 🤔 One one hand oh god have mercy on his blood pressure, on the other he likes contributing to his community and would want to encourage half-foot mages and pass down his knowledge and expertise I think. Empty nest syndrome where…- OHHH mage Meijack……. I was thinking becayse Meijack followed in his footsteps in canon but it could suit Puckpatti and Flertom too… Their dad would have shown them some magic tricks hehe. They can be a magical girl trio in my heart, Powerpuff Girls energy…
A rogue has gotta be able to make intricate af braids and updos with their fingers (ignore how in canon Chil is just barely decent at them nvm). I was thinking maybe one of Marcille’s lockpicks is Ambrosia-shaped… Or maybe it’s an hairpin. Maybe she keeps her lockpicks as pins in her hair but they’re easy to grab… Getting more gimmicky by the second but my heart yearns for it I cannot lie. I ended up doing something close to canon for Marcille’s outfits but at first I imagined she’d wear stuff more akin elven fashion, short dress with pants, light material, though also with a leather armor breastblate. She has long gloves like the ones that look fancy, maybe even up her upper arm rather than just forearm ooh… Also her little pouch, which actually contains stuff this time around (lockpicks). They still have matching pouches yay
In that last doodle Chilchuck weaved her a little familiar with twigs… So it is magical but it’s hers, and it’s a second stand-in for Ambrosia. Maybe a golem… It’s very silly and prob not real in the au but the thought of it is really cute. Someone on the discord said Fantastical Beasts Pickett which yesss lmao, it’s like a pokemon for "(lock)pick it!" I love arts and crafts Chilchuck so much. Sew clothes. Weave twigs. Woodcarve. Necromance a frankenstein. He can make himself a new wife (/J I AM SO /J)
Also for Izutsumi: I think the reverse of a ninja is a bard. Take that as you will. Angry bard who grew up in a troupe……

Hi! I was wondering if you could do something for George? I enjoy reading fanfics about him but surprisingly there aren’t many
Act Like You Mean It
Chapter 1
Summary: George and Y/N are oblivious idiots in love who agree to fake date in the attempt to drive away Y/N's unwanted suitor.
~•~
George Weasley x Fem!reader
~•~
Y/N worried that if she rolled her eyes one more time, they might get stuck like that, like her mom had always threatened.
But, seriously? How many times did she have to turn down a guy before he finally gave up?
Byron Montcroix was a rich, pompous, self-absorbed jackass who thought he was the universe's gift to women. And for the past two months, he'd been after her like a bloodhound on the hunt.
"There's plenty of girls who'd love to be in your position, Y/N, " Gabby said.
"Great! They can have him. I'll even wrap him up in a pretty red bow and deliver him to their doorstep."
Y/N's roommate shook her head. "I just don't get you. You've got one of Hogwarts' most eligible bachelor's practically banging down your door, and you won't even give him the time of day.
"Because," Y/N replied with an exasperated sigh. "He's an entitled creep who thinks that I, or any other girl for that matter, should be grateful that he even deigns to look at us."
~•~
George gazed at Y/N, resting her chin on her palm as she half-dozed. Unlike nearly every other student at school, he loved History of Magic. It was the one place he could watch Y/N unabashed because everyone, including her, was either unconscious or close to it.
Last year, after two long years of admiring her from afar, the younger twin, with Fred's encouragement and a few shots of firewhiskey, finally got the nerve to strike up a conversation with her during one of Gryffindor's infamous parties. A friendship blossomed between the two, but George could never muster up the courage to ask her out.
"Y/N's just so perfect. She's a Goddess," he'd told Fred. "And I'm just well--I'm just me."
~•~
Y/N couldn't help but smile when she saw George walking toward her. She'd had a crush on him since their third year but had been too shy to approach the cool, confident prankster. Then, last spring, during a Gryffindor party, he introduced himself, and they ended up sitting in a quiet corner, ignoring everyone else and talking long after the party was over.
He seemed to really like her and Y/N thought maybe he would ask her out at some point, but he never did. A couple of times, she almost bit the bullet and confessed her feelings, but froze up before she could even utter the first syllable. Y/N knew it could spell disaster for their friendship if he didn't feel the same way. So, in the end, she decided she'd much rather have him as a friend than not at all.
~•~
"There you are," George said, sitting beside her on the grass. "What are you doing all the way out here? I've been looking all over for you."
Y/N had walked almost as far as the shrieking shack in an effort to shake off her ardent admirer. "Hiding from Montcroix. He's been all over me like shit on a stick today. Would you believe he actually tried to kiss me? Granted, it was my cheek and not my lips, thank goodness. But still. Just thought of his mouth anywhere my skin makes me wanna puke."
George's blood boiled. He looked away for a few moments to hide the red splotches he knew were blooming on his face and neck. He wanted more than anything to punch that smug, cocksure smile off Montcroix's pristine, fucking face and then sweep Y/N off her feet in a passionate kiss. Just like in all the movies and romance novels.
"I'm just so sick of him," Y/N sighed. "I've tried everything I can think of, but he just won't leave me alone." She paused and looked up at George, "Got any ideas? I'm willing to try just about anything at this point."
George rubbed his chin, thinking, and then his head snapped up. His mind was reeling with this sudden crazy idea that would get Montcroix off her back and would allow him to shower her with the love he's been bottling up for so long. If he couldn't ask Y/N out for real, why not go for the next best thing? He blurted it out before he had time to second guess himself. "We could pretend to be a couple."
"What?" Y/N stared at him.
"We could pretend to be dating. If Montcroix thinks you have a boyfriend, he'll hopefully leave you alone. And if not, I'll kick his ass."
For a brief moment she harbored hope that maybe George wanted to be more than just friends.
But, then reality set in.
'Oh,' she thought. 'Pretend. Not for real. George isn't one to beat around the bush. If he actually wanted to date me he'd just ask me straight out.
No, this is just a friend helping out a friend.'
At least now she knew.
Y/N looked down at her hands, forcing back her tears. How could she say yes? How could she pretend her true feelings weren't real? How could she endure knowing his affections were all an act? Knowing it all had an expiration date.
She truly didn't know, and yet...
How could she say no? How could she throw away the opportunity to be loved by George, even if it wasn't real? Even if it was only temporary. This might be as close as she'd ever get to living her dream.
Y/N chewed on her lip as she convinced herself this was a good idea. Then looking back up at George, she smiled. "Sure. Why not?"

Posting headcanons on here cuz that's what the cool people do on this app (or so I've heard)
Mystreet addition!
• Travis and Sasha are cousins, that didn't know they were cousins until post season 3 (I basically looked at them both and basically said; "this would be some good family drama")
• Dante got a tongue piercing because Gene dared him to get one
• Travis and Sasha used to sneak off Friday nights to hang out without anyone knowing
• Aphmau and Zane had SOME feelings for each other post season 1 (I adore Zanemau)
• Katelyn and Travis were pretend dating for like the majority of mystreet
• Travis was given SO mucuch money by Michael even tho Micheal was only giving Travis a SMALL portion of his money per month, Travis still has too much money till this day
• Garroth can't and I mean CAN'T be trusted near a stove
• Laurance semi knows how to cook, he knows the basic at least because of Cadenza
• Zane is a baker and cook
• Vylad took a part-time job that ended up becoming his job for like 2 years (he was working at a flower shop) until he moved to a fashion industry with Zane
• Zane was a designer when he signed up for a fashion industry and then got into modeling due to one of his work colleagues convincing him to try it
• Zianna taught his 'sons' how to sew stuff
• Lucinda is just the same Lucinda from mcd, she's immortal okay?
• Michael is very ancient and used metal rulers to punish Travis, most times about lower than average grades that he gets (aka anything under an A)
• in middle School Travis was the definition of "President perfect" he was likeable by everyone he was naturally pretty and was always one to show up early also a straight A student
• Dante till this day still doesn't understand how he and Travis became friends in middle School, Travis is like this goddess while Dante was some late average grade normie
• Laurence took ballet
• Gene almost got sent to a violin academia by his mom cuz he was so good at violin
• Dante had a 'little' crush on Travis but decided to just back away from that she tried to ignore it since Travis and Katelyn are "Dating"
• In high school Zane and Vylad betted on how gay Garroth was, whoever won that bet even if it's years later had to do whatever the person who won said, and if it's something expensive then it'd be a one-time
• Garte is actually better in my universe (I can't fully defend him yet, all I can say is that he did help Zianna through tough times)
• Vylad and Zane has the same father but Zane is still older then Vylad by a few Days
• Vylad and Zane are twins even if they don't look like it
• Vylad and Zane would hang out in secret always anytime they can hang out
• all the Ro'maeve brothers are multilangual
• Travis speaks so many languages, (list; English,French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, mandarin, Malaysian, Italian,German,Tagalog,Arabic,Russian,Thai, Vietnamese,Icelandic,Polandic, that doesn't include the fact he knows sign language and Morse code)
• Travis and Gene both knows sign language and would talk shii about people and also gossip in private while not being in private
• Sasha knows sign language but doesn't bother to tell anyone she's here for the gossip
• Dante and Zenix is fed up with Gene and Travis and started communicating through
• Travis understands Morse code only because Dante taught him, but Dante thought Travis forgot how to do Morse code which was his own problem
• Travis barely remembered anyone from the street when he first moved in with the guys, it was so strange that even other people that barely knew Travis was interested
• Lucinda try to figure out what was happening with Travis but had no idea, her magic doesn't extend to ancient magic anymore since she has modernized her magic. Even with the blockages she has she tries to figure out what's wrong Maybe by a potion but she found no specific potion that could do it most of those potions were illegal and she sense no specific potions she sense Magic
• but Lucinda never stopped searching for why Travis didn't remember anyone besides Dante, since there was no record of any major accidents involving Travis or the valkrums
• Micheal gave Travis a box of crystals cuz he had a obsession with crystals (still do) and Travis was shocked by the amount of emeralds there was in that box there was around 50 something emeralds if counting the broken shards, if counting the whole emeralds there would be like 35 which is still a lot
• Terry once threatened Micheal to turn his physical form into a relic due to a factor that Michael was trying to erase an important memory and Terry wasn't having it that day
• Travis would endlessly rant about crystals to Vylad which had started to make Vylad actually interested in crystals and start looking into them and then got obsessed over it with Travis
• Dante as a teen was a hoarder, he grew out of it eventually
• Gene, despite being a horrible person in general in high school, he tried his best to be a better person around Dante trying not to influence him cuz he is far much more aware the fact that Dante can be influenced by him and he does not need Dante to be on his level of trouble
• Gene is far nicer to Travis than other one of Dante's friend, most likely due to the fact there was already this out of nowhere trust bond that existed when Dante first introduced Travis to Gene
•Zane had braces throughout freshman year and no one noticed cuz he had a mask on, then he got retainers mid season 3
• Zane is diagnose autistic
• Garroth and Aphmau is undiagnosed ADHD even though Travis has multiple time told them to get diagnosed due to the fact of the symptoms they had visibly and every time they always have this conversation;
"well are you a psychologist?"
"No"
"then how can you see the ADHD symptoms?"
"Cuz I have ADHD!"
"oh..uhm well you pay for a psychologist then!"
And then Travis actually gets them appointed to a psychologist for a ADHD diagnose and they got an actually official diagnose because of Travis and his ridiculous amount of money
• Vylad is dyslexic and Travis would spend hours after school in the library with him teaching him stuff, even if that means getting home late which Michael usually don't mind cuz he's never home until midnight Vylad got his permission card to stay late from his mom
• Vylad is the reason Zane is into my little horsey, Vylad actually introduced Zane to so many cartoons that now they can binge watch any kind of cartoons that Vylad puts on the platter
This whole post is just me ranting about stuff I wish were canon but isn't Canon, but hey no one can really stop me from posting this :]

ur winx dr sounds so cool! did u change a lot of the lore? i know there were a lot of plot holes in the original series and depending on the dub u watched, things were different, so im curious if you altered anything?
Hi! Thank you! It's so nice to see another winx shifter 💞
There definitely were some changes in both of my DRs! Both of them primarily followed the original Italian and Rai dubs and then later on obviously followed the Nickelodeon dub. Most of my changes were quality-of-life changes and fixing certain plot holes that really annoyed me. Other than that, it was fairly accurate to the original show!
Here are some major changes and plot hole fixes that I remember:
Nabu died but he was brought back to life with Aisha's Sirenix wish. I always thought it was sad that she hadn't done that in the show. (Instead, Nereus was saved with our regular magic)
Musa didn't see her mother in the Labyrinth, instead, she was faced with her losing her voice. I just thought that was mean :(
The way to earn Bloomix (it was actually called Draconix in my DRs) was different! Instead of performing a good fairy action, you had to selflessly protect someone. It was very similar to Enchantix in that way! Draconix can only be earned when a fairy who isn't a bearer of the Dragon's Flame is given some of that flame by a bearer. They then have to do the whole protection thing and the flame physically manifests in the form of magical armor for them.
The royal family of Domino was actually protecting the flame and not using it themselves. Daphne, as a nymph, was one of the guardians but put the flame in Bloom when the ancestral witches rocked up to protect both her and the flame.
Originally, there were more flame bearers but they had all died naturally or in battle! Their part of the flame would go to the Vortex of Flames which the Nymphs of Domino protected (and hid so no one would steal it). It's actually against the rules for someone to take any part of the flame and give it to someone else. The Vortex (which is kind of alive?) chooses the next bearers and sends out parts of the flame to whoever it picks. This is why Bloom is so powerful - because she has all of the flame instead of just one part of it.
The Winx graduated in season 4 and didn't go back as students in season 5 (I never understood that). They continued to be teachers! The specialists never actually graduate in the traditional sense? They're students up until their fifth year where they then get registered as an official specialist team. So... I guess you can say they graduate in season 4 too? They continue to live and train at Red since they're one of the live-in teams though.
There's essentially a council with representatives from all of the planets who help govern things. They established a "no death penalty" law and the planets that the Trix are from are all part of that council so they have to keep sending them to jail 💀
Tecna gained her Enchantix from saving Andros because there were people from Zenith living on Andros at the time (so the whole "saving the whole universe" technicality didn't happen).
The Ancestral Witches had lived for hundreds of years before the Company of Light defeated them. The CoL had also fought them for hundreds of years but "officially" defeated them and ended the war right after Bloom was sent away. Before that, the witches had been looking for the flame and wreaking havoc everywhere.
A big reason why there was so little information on the Dragon's Flame, Domino, and Daphne is that the royal family intentionally kept a tight lip so no one would figure out they had the flame. A lot of the planets, despite being so connected, also keep to themselves so most people just thought "aw shucks guess the nasty witches killed a whole planet for no reason".
Bloom was named Bloom by her biological parents too. Daphne's magic also influenced her adoptive parents to call her Bloom.
Queen Morgana had been locked up hundreds of years ago when the wizards defeated the Earth fairies, however, she was briefly able to leave in hopes that someone could help them, only to find that humans no longer believed in magic. She managed to stay for a couple of years where she fell in love with Roxy's father and had Roxy but had to flee back to captivity as her magic was weakening.
As for some smaller changes, Helia used his magic a lot more but never picked a magic stream (ie fairy, witch, wizard, etc). Riven didn't leave at the end of season 6 nor break up with Musa. Nex and Roy were there but they were just friends we made - they didn't date Aisha. Daphne was never brought back to life but was able to ascend her spirit to goddess level (which allowed her to manifest a physical form to visit realms). Diaspro was officially locked up after season 3; she was able to get out because of her parents but she was banned from the Eraklyon castle and interacting with Sky.
Hm... that's all I can think of right now! I'll update this if I remember more!
Anyway, I'd love to know about your DR! Being a mind fairy sounds like so much fun!

Friend Groups
The three trainers would obviously have their own friend groups (yes even Bede despite his prickly attitude). They get to know certain NRC students and form a close friendship with some of them.
Phoebe - Ace, Deuce, Cater, Azul, Kalim, Malleus
Ace - Their first meeting was off at the start, Ace thought it was funny that three magicless people were here in a school of magic. But of course he shut up after being taught a lesson.
Bede almost sent his Hatterene after him if it weren't for Phoebe being the mediator. He was stunned to see the fairy that could shred him to ribbons back off when the pie dragon blocked her way.
He owes her a lot after getting him and Deuce out of trouble with the chandelier incident too.
Ace admits that taming dragons are kinda cool though. But during the first meeting he only saw Appletun and not the rest so that's why he was teasing them at first.
He learned another lesson after getting his but whooped by a walking pie during sparring lessons.
Deuce - Total fanboy because he thinks Phoebe is someone straight out of an anime. A protagonist with super OP comrades that goes on an adventure for glory.
And he can't help but feel bashful because she tends to reason with him if he ever goes into delinquent mode. He should be the responsible one since he was older but... Phoebe is the mature one here.
Phoebe understands his desire to change from the past and will give him advice she thinks is good for the situation.
His mother probably sends letters if "big sister" Phoebe is doing well. He didn't realize from writing to his mom about Phoebe, she thought the girl was older.
Would she be surprised if Phoebe came to visit one day...
Cater - He reminds her so much of Raihan with his habit of taking selfies and his overly cheerful personality. But Phoebe suspects that Cater is hiding issues behind his easygoing grin.
Spending a lot of time around Raihan, Phoebe tends to slowly notice if something was off...
On the other hand, Cater thinks that Phoebe should be his little sister instead. She's much more understanding and not as pushy as his two sisters back home.
She always asks for his opinion when they hang out.
They're getting food? She asks if he wanted something specific. Going to watch a movie, asks what he prefers the most.
If he doesn't feel like talking, Phoebe just lets him know if he was called for something and doesn't try to pry.
So, he labels her as his NRC little sister. He would soon develop the same overprotectiveness over her much like Raihan.
Azul - Its surprising that those two would get along given how he scammed them out of the dorm.
Phoebe was pretty upset at what he did but after seeing he was actually doing this to cope with his trauma, she was willing to forgive him.
Though she had to stop Bede and Klara from turning him into calamari.
Their friendship is mainly her making business ventures with Azul regarding the madols needed for Ramshackle and their pokemon. Azul was willing to buy berries off their garden for a fair price.
Gradually, he starts to feel like a big brother to her. He worries if she has enough madol to last the week. Even checks up on her health under the guise of making sure his business partner didn't overwork themselves.
Always keeping punks away from her and his plans to make sure Crowley is doing his job.
Though the twins tease him about it while Azul denies such claims. he was simply looking out for his investments. Yeah right, you tell yourself that, Azul.
Kalim - It's no surprise that Phoebe would be friends with Kalim. Bede doesn't like him that much because he's like Hop while Klara thinks he's much to cheerful for her to tolerate for more than an hour.
Phoebe liked Kalim though, he was a nice change from the rather... egocentric students in this academy. Though she wondered how he got accepted here when he's such a nice guy.
And how has he never gotten picked on? His reputation I guess was a shield.
Kalim loves to hear more about Pokemon from Phoebe. He finds them fascinating and the fact that a magicless human can get near such fearsome beasts was something out of a hero's tale.
Phoebe would sometimes invite Kalim over to hang out and she'd grin when Kalim was on the floor trying to coax Appletun to eat some fruit slices.
A part of Kalim slightly envies Phoebe and the other trainers. They get to travel around and go on adventures, learn all they can about the world on their own merit.
He was always pampered and never knew about the rough life of the outside world. Maybe someday he'd be just like them.
Malleus - Out of all the trainers in the trio, he likes Phoebe the most. Sure the boy with fairies was rather intriguing and the lady who walks among creatures with potent poison was quite a surprise, Phoebe was the child with the dragons.
He expected her to be someone who had a powerful image but he sees this sweet little girl who is pampering powerful creatures. It's not a bad thing though... especially when Dratini and Appletun was so affectionate towards him.
Malleus has emotionally adopted Phoebe as his child of dragon. Somewhere in the universe, Raihan feels a chill down his spine.
Bede - Trey, Epel, Vil, Riddle, Leona
Trey - He was the mediator between Riddle and Bede during the first few meetings. Trey was almost stunned because it felt like he was looking over two Riddles.
The image of a white rose and red rose bickering was sureal indeed.
But it turns out that the two of them also enjoyed tea time, though Riddle preferred cakes while Bede preferred sandwiches and scones.
As a big brother, Trey can see how Bede feels down but doesn't want to show others he is weak. He is just like Riddle.
Honestly, Bede probably never had older siblings to look up to. Chairman Rose barely paid him any attention while Opal was the first one to give him proper guidance.
But somewhere in him he also wants to mingle with those close to his age. He couldn't do all that before due to him being a bit of a brat.
Trey may be plain to some but Bede thinks he's a reliable figure that can show him how to better himself.
Epel - Epel admires Bede because despite looking like a doll, he has such a strong personality and his familiars are deceptively strong.
He thought Bede was a dainty boy at first with his ribbon cat and the elegant unicorn, the only one that even looks dangerous was the small one with a large venus flytrap mouth.
But boy was he proven wrong when he saw the cute familiars deck someone for insulting Bede.
Needless to say, Epel wants to be like Bede, someone strong despite his image. He is slightly consious that his muscles haven't shown up and his puberty hasn't hit him yet.
Bede thinks Epel puts him on a pedestal too much.
Was this how he acted before he was abadoned by Chairman Rose?
Vil - Bede was probably scouted by Vil because of his beautiful familiars and the way he carries himself like a noble prince. Thank Opal for those lessons.
Vil is intrigued by the familiars he has, especially the unicorn. Twisted Wonderland deems them too cautious to approach humans but here's one in front of him.
And one with such a glorious mane too!
He sees Bede is confident in his image and isn't afraid of breaking gender stereotypes. Someone said pink isn't a boy color? Bede says otherwise as he sends Hatterene towards whoever said that.
Bede sees Vil like a younger version of Opal, they were rather strict. He shudders after he remembered the training she gave him at first.
And though he was more used to Vil's sterness due to Opal, there are times he has gotten the two mixed up from how similar they act.
Riddle - The two of them didn't get along at first. Bede thought that Riddle's strictness was stupid and unecessary. He saw his past self in Riddle, he was selfish and prideful which made him left with no friends.
Riddle on the other hand thought Bede was a pompous brat who doesn't know about keeping to the rules.
These two butt heads a lot and other students thought they mirror each other with how similar they are to an extent. The two who hear such comment deny so with every fiber of their being.
After the overblot, Riddle could probably understand now why Bede thought his attitude was terrible. He was in a similar situation as him, thinking he was better than the rest.
Putting the wrong person on a pedestal and believing them to be right no matter what.
Now these two have tea time together and chat about certain people they agree send shivers down their spine. AKA the Leech twins.
Leona - Surprising that Leona was tolerating Bede. Much like Riddle, Bede didn't like how Leona held himself back simply because others told him he can't.
He didn't appreciate his "woe is me" attitude. After the overblot, Bede was the one who gave Leona an earful because for one, one of the trainers got injured from the fight (it was Phoebe), and he dared to take victory through criminal means.
Seriously, there could have been kids and elders in the stampeding crowd! He verbally rips into Leona so hard that everyone was stunned.
They didn't know Bede could get this angry.
After that, Leona was irritated that he was being lectured by a fairy brat. He couldn't let go of his prider at first.
Bede shut him up after he played against Savanaclaw in the opening match and demolished Leona.
Right after that Bede told him that the only one who can give him respect is himself, he would only be second best if he let himself be like that. That probably sparked a shred of respect from Leona.
Klara - Rook, Jamil, Ruggie, Jack, Idia
Rook - Klara would be smitten with Rook cause he was a gentleman but over time she realized he's like that with everyone and she just labels him as "Bestie".
Rook knows the irritation Klara has with Vil and it is gorgeous. He loves how both of them are worthy of the title, "Poison King/Queen" he even ships them in his head.
He probably has fanfiction about enemies to lovers about those two but that's his little secret.
Rook is very supportive of Klara, he's her hypeman. Though she gave him a slap when he casually mentioned her hips got an inch wider.
Jamil - These two know what its like to try and sabotage someone to try and be in the spotlight. Jamil tried to usrup Kalim and Klara put Toxic Spikes in the field before battling another trainer-
Phoebe: You did what-?!
Klara: I was desperate shush!
These two would trash talk like the mean girls they are, I know it. Talking to each other how a certain someone would get on their nerves at times.
Though Jamil tends to tease Klara because unlike his flawless acting, Klara makes it obvious she's holding herself back but her expression gives it away.
These two snakes is what others call them.
Though Jamil always reminds Klara to NOT bring her Scolipede over! He nearly had a heart attack from seeing a centipede as big as a horse.
Ruggie - Klara thought he was cute... until during the Savanaclaw arc he stole their pokeballs. She put him in a headlock, never has Bede or Phoebe seen her run after Ruggie so agile and fast.
Ruggie was shocked when he was suddenly on the ground and barely able to breathe because of Klara's strong buff arms around his neck. Did you see her league card? She lifts!
Though she was still salty and held a grudge over Ruggie stealing her precious Pokemon. Ruggie being from the Afterglow Savanah, felt guilty and promised to make it up to her.
He had to let Klara pet his ears whenever she wants. Ruggie relents because respect women and all that.
Ruggie was embarassed at first but Klara brings him snacks from time to time so it won't be all bad.
Klara really does think Ruggie is like a cute Rockruff when he's not being cheeky. Now Ruggie would pretend to cry to Klara when he doesn't feel like doing Leona's chores. Klara gives the lion an earful and he can't even argue.
Jack - You'd think he won't get along with Klara just because she seems kind of sly and would resort to petty tactics.
Well it seemed that way at first but Jack soon discovered that Klara would give it her all and was confident. He didn't like how she would get petty over some little thing but he does admire her dedication.
Those two become training buddies, and Klara would eat up any praise Jack tells her. Her pride inflates with every compliment.
Jack is the one who stops Klara do anything reckless. He basically does the scolding when Phoebe isn't around.
By the way, Klara was shocked to find out Jack was only 16, like boy who feeding you?!
She's not going to simp over a kid but then she thought that if Jack was this muscular... Could there be guys in 20s with the same figure?!
She'd be asking Jack if there was any single hunks out there among beastmen in his hometown.
Idia - Another thing you'd never expect. Idia? He's the shut in Otaku who is allergic to sunlight and socializing. How could he possibly be friends with Klara?
It's simple, like Jamil they like trash talk and gossip.
It all happened one afternoon, Idia was just mumbling behind a tree about certain students being so pushy and noisy. Klara replies to his ramblings from behind the other side of the tree.
Idia was startled but as Klara agrees with his trash talk he just started to go with the flow in their conversation.
Klara likes Idia, another sassy bestie to gossip with. And she digs his entire look. The fire hair? Boi what conditioner you use?
Idia: That's just my natural hair...
Klara: No way!? That look is bespoke!
Also whenever Klara needs blackmail material she goes to Idia. He got cameras everywhere but she would NEVER snitch on him. She keeps her bestie promise!
Idia may or may not have fulfilled his dream of having a waifu even if it was merely a planotic friendship.

Thinking about Raeda…
First impressions
Two misjudged kids.
Eda was seen as a lost cause by many, but she was actually extremely smart and kind, she just needed more discipline and patience, and people around her didn't give her either of these things.
Raine was an easy target for being picked on: a bard, quiet, a bit of a teacher's pet (see my Raine headcanons). They were actually really skilled and could fight back if they wanted to, but they thought it would make things worse, which led to them being perceived as weak.
So, when they meet and become friends, it's a breath of fresh air.
Raine watched Eda from afar while she caused chaos in "H.E.C.K". They've never seen someone being so unpolageticly themselves, and they find it inspiring. It awakens something in them, to watch this fiery witch make everyone lose their shit over the trouble she causes, and they work up the confidence to go talk to her.
For Raine, it's the first time they go out of the way to talk to someone their age and actually enjoy doing so.
For Eda, it's the first time someone approaches her with kindness and patience even after seeing the trouble she's capable of causing.
And they quickly realize they make a good team. This feeling of companionship and teamwork is new for both of them, since they don't really have friends.
Granted, Eda had Lilith, but it was different. They were sisters, and sometimes it was hard to tell if Lilith stuck with her by choice, or due to an "older sister obligation" of sorts. Plus, studying for the Emperor's coven was taking most of Lily's time and they weren't hanging out as much.
Hey, new kid!
Raine was tired of their old school life, tired of being the gifted kid, tired of being picked on and used to make the school look good. They were thinking of bailing for a long time now, and Eda was exactly the final push they needed to make the decision.
Their first days at hexside are basically just Eda showing them around and helping them get used to everything while also telling them all her cool stories and bragging about her awesome reputation. Raine happily listens and watches her in awe the whole time, even when she loses track of the story and repeats herself.
"Have I told you this story before?"
"No, what happens next?"
(She had told the same story at least 3 times that week).
Eda also introduces them to her secret hideout, and they are extremely honored that she trusts them. She also forces them to make a "spit oath" (you know, spitting in your hand and then making a handshake to promise something). Raine is disgusted, but it's better than the blood oath she wanted at first.
Anyways, the two use the hideout to study all types of magic, but also to plan pranks or just have private conversations/time alone. If one of them is having a bad day, they go there, and it's almost certain that the other will find them and offer some comfort.
"What do you even see in them?"
Eda admires how smart and hardworking Raine is and loves the fact they're a good and attentive listener. She loves teasing them and annoying them and seeing their adorable reactions. And, of course, she appreciates that they don't judge her for being who she is. They might tell her to be more careful and roll their eyes at her antics sometimes, but they never try to change her.
Raine admires Eda's bravery and loves watching her be her chaotic and impulsive self, which is why they listen so happily to her. They secretly love when Eda messes with them, they think it's cute. And they appreciate how she sees them as an equal and takes them out of their comfort zone.
RATS aftermath
After the play that led to Raine developing stage fright, Eda couldn't help but become protective. She's always have been, to a certain degree (especially after learning about Raine's past of being picked on by other students and manipulated by teachers), but now she was taking it to the next level.
She still encouraged them to "puch their fears in the face", but if Raine wanted to skip a performance, she'd help, and often skip her own classes to keep them company (she'd skip anyways, but we don’t talk about that). She also glared at people who gave Raine weird looks and told them she would gladly beat up the people who laughed at them while they were on stage. Raine was kinda overwhelmed, they weren't used to this, but… they kinda liked it? It was sweet, in a weird way. In an Eda way.
I don't have a crush… do I?
Eda denies her crush to hell and back.
Sure, she might melt a bit when Raine is kind to her, when they gently patch her up after she hurts herself in grudgyb games, the same grudgyb games they always cheer her on (they eventually start cheerleading because of her, and she becomes a blushing mess whenever they appear in the uniform, cheering so enthusiastically for her). She might have this desire inside her to hold them, protect them and never let them go. She might annoy them to get their attention on her, she might stay awake at night and think about how they only share their apple blood with her and all the indirect kisses the two of them have shared by using the same straw. She might subconsciously try to impress them with her smart pranks and her skills.
But that doesn't mean she likes them, right?
And at the same time, Raine finds themself feeling warm and fuzzy inside whenever Eda breaks her fiery troublemaker facade to be gentle to them. They feel the safest and proudest they have ever felt when they walk around in the school in the grudgyb jacket she would often let them burrow. They feel themself become extra caring whenever it comes to Eda, constantly being the one to drag her out of danger, while also going along with her jokes and pranks. They keep pictures of Eda and write her sweet letters they're probably not even gonna give her. They keep all the gifts she brings them from the human realm and think of her when composing their pieces.
Oh, they have a crush, don't they?
This will have a part 2.
For now, take this:

If it's not inconvenience, I would like to make an Oc× Cannon request with Jamil and my Oc Yumi, where after some time of dating, Jamil always thought that his girlfriend was someone cute who should be protected, now imagine the surprise when he discovers that his loved one is from a family of spies and assassins and the current leader (we can say that he saw Yumi getting rid of some assassins who were after Kalim and Yumi reveals who she is not a helpless aunt like that)
First TWST request lesgooo!! I don't think I have written for Jamil ever, besides very crack meme-ish stuff, so this is interesting to say the least! Hope I do the Snake Charmer justice, and Yumi justice for the matter!
Since you didn't specify, i'm doing this in Fanfic format instead of my headcanons format, let me know if you prefer it another way!
TW: Attempted homicide.
Jamil Viper X Yumi Yozakura - unnusual surprise
Jamil was never one for surprises. He liked to know all he could, to better prepare himself mentally for any troubles that could come his way. It has been this way since he became Kalim's babysi- uhm, I mean, Kalim's bodyguard. Sometimes even a look into someone's eyes told him all he needed, and Jamil was always calm and collected while doing his duties, albeit furious inside most times. Was it due to jealousy? Stress? Who really knows. Something he took pride in, however, was his lover. Yumi never gave him trouble. Quite the opposite, sometimes she was the help he needed to convince Kalim that stepping into the mushroom ring in the woods behind the campus was certainly NOT a good idea whatsoever. Yumi was always calm and collected, and Jamil had no reason to doubt her intentions near Kalim or himself. A Magicless human from another world, even if she is brilliant and capable in the physical aspect, could never compare in strength to him and his magic.
After a while they started to date Jamil felt more and more comfortable just... to allow himself to indulge in the moments with Yumi. Honest to the Seven, he never thought someone could understand his troubles, but Yumi did, somehow. And it helped him a lot.
Though things never stay peaceful in his life, it seems. During one of the many parties in Scarabia, Kalim made sure to "smoothly" invite Yumi (what can he say, he likes to see Jamil happy!), and everything seemed all fine! Everyone was dancing, eating, and enjoying themselves! But Yumi noticed a strange behavior from one of the students. This strange Heartslabyul student seemed to fidget a lot with his blazer pocket and also to be anxiously eyeing Jamil and Kalim. Jamil had to take a break to get some extra food, and while he took a second of his attention off, the suspicious student made his way to Kalim.
Yumi couldn't stop glaring at him, and with the littlest hints of a blade she saw in this boy's pocket, she took matters into her own hands. Wrapping her hands around his arm, pushing him to the floor and making sure to trap his armed hand behind his back, where she swiftly knocked the blade over. Everyone was staring in shock, but she knew that even worse than having all the attention on her, would be to have Kalim hurt, while Jamil wasn't there... or so she thought he wasn't. He had mastered the art of walking silently, much like a snake slithers its way near their prey. Jamil put a hand on her shoulder, although a bit shocked at the view he saw. "I can handle this, from here." Yumi stared at him for a split second, before she let the boy go, him cursing about how strong that girl is, and how he was so fucked after this.
The party was quickly shut off after the incident, and Yumi was kept with Kalim on the lounge while Jamil took the assassin to the headmage. "So... were ya gonna tell us anytime soon you are, like, a super duper cool fighter?" "Huh?" "C'mon~! The way you were so quick with that guy, it was awesome!" "Well, uh, thanks Kalim. It's nothing, really" "Nuh-uh! I bet everyone found it super cool too! Can you teach me it, like, you took his arm, twisted and he was on the ground? Or was there something else?" "I-" "Kalim, you are not learning that." "Aw, man... Maybe one day, I guess haha!" Yumi could hear Jamil mumbling about how he hoped Kalim never learned how to fight like that. "Uhm, well I guess I should be going back to Ramshackle now. Grim probably did his own party there, with the tuna, while I was here and... I bet he will want me to clean it up." "Oh Okay! G'night Yumi!" As Yumi was making her way to the hall of mirrors, Jamil stopped her at the entrance of Scarabia. "Wait. I have something to say." "Jamil, I... Look, I'm sorry I never told you I know how to fight, I, uh, well it's a long long long story on how I got like this but... I just... Didn't really want you to not be around me anymore, or see me as a threat to Kalim or anything like that." "I'm not mad. I was... surprised, yes. But not mad." Jamil sighed, at least there wasn't anyone else to him so... vulnerable. "I appreciate what you did there. I could've handled it, but still, I appreciate it." After a small pause, he continued "And it is good that I won't need to protect you, like I have to do with a certain someone."
Jamil may never admit it, but this confession held way more value to him than it showed. He saw Yumi as an equal. It was important to him, that he knew she didn't need him to protect her at any moment. Her being able to fend for herself meant, to him at least, that he wouldn't be staying awake at night thinking if she was safe when she was not around.
"Just for the love of the Seven, if you have any other things that I don't know yet, tell me instead of suddenly showcasing your abilities." "Then how about I sit with you in the cafeteria tomorrow for a chat?" "... Will it give me a headache?" "Actually, probably." "I think I may be regretting my words way sooner than I expected."
Hope you enjoy it! This is my first written work for TWST being published online, and I'm still getting the hang of writing everyone, but I'm a practical learner >:))
Have a great Day/Night!

Just 'cause I'm really intrigued by this (and more or less tempted to draw..) do you have any designs/references for your Renegade Detective AU gang? Could help to also ramble a bit on their world and setting, even if you don't write it out. Always cool to get info about these fellas, might even help you brainstorm on plots and such for later whenever : )
Luckily for me, this is literally the only AU I have planned start to finish. I could write a whole essay, but I don't want to drop everything at once right now. :3
Also to anyone reading this, spoilers but not really since all of this would be in the prologue/chapter one, and I'm like 70% sure I'll never write this fanfic, but still.
So I'm lazy, and can't be bothered to redraw OG Pico into what Soft Pico is wearing, but that's basically what the uniform of the SCF (Special Crime Forces) is. This squad was created with Detective Pico as its leader, and they deal with any crimes where demons are involved. Forensics scientist Darnell wears a purple shirt. He's also the one who creates weapons, sprays, tranquilizers, and any other means of self defense that are effective against demons. Criminal analyst Nene wears pink. She gathers intel from less legitimate sources, keeps an eye on the black market for items of interests, and helps Pico determine what a suspect's next course of an action could be. She also tore the sleeves off of her blazer since she gives no fucks, and the higher ups can't do shit about it since Pico and his crew are the only one with the balls to deal with demons.
Pico is the only one of the trio to have dual pistols. One is a black one called Noir. He uses this gun for humans, and other creatures that don't require magical means to be harmed. His runic pistol is white, and is called Blanc. BF gave this to him back in college, and its enchanted by magical runes that allow him to harm demons, or any other entity that can't be harmed by non-magical means. He is considered a renegade in the force since he will break protocols/the law, and disobey orders if it meant saving the lives of others. Due to him and his squad being the only ones capable of dealing with demons, he hasn't gotten fired for his insubordination yet.
Tumblr media
I quickly drew BF's design since I never drew him in full yet, but just imagine him with his usual hair, and pants matching his vest. The lines on his horns represent his energy level. This energy is required for him to live, and incubi/succubi can regain this energy by simply seeing certain thoughts/desires of those around them. Unfortunately for BF, he is unable to gain the energy he needs like others of his kind. This is due to an arch demon punishing him with a curse for betraying the clan, and preventing them from killing Pico, Darnell, Nene, and other students at college. This curse harms him if he doesn't actively block out the desires of others, and the only way for him to regain energy is to take the souls of others, killing them in the process. No one else knows about this until way later in the story. This demon attack on the college was also the reason why BF was forced to drop his human illusion, and his use of charm magic in combat causes Pico to jump to the conclusion that the incubus charmed him to make him fall in love, and breaks up with him. With the bad reputation of his kind at this point of time, BF had no chance to explain himself.
BF doesn't see Pico again until a few years later where a new program that employs demons as emotional support was made. This program is an attempt to improve the reputation of demons, and to show the general public that not all demons are a threat. With the help of the ginger's father (tank dad, yippee!), BF convinces the ginger to put an anti-magic bracelet on him to prove that no magic will get in the way of regaining his trust. He also cooks for him, plays his saxophone for BGM despite Pico's annoyance, and helps him fight demons once the detective trusts him enough to not use magic on him or his friends.
Tumblr media
To give you a better idea what BF and Pico's dynamic will be like, here's a short dialogue exchange between the two of them when the ginger trusts BF enough to use lower level magic. A level of magic that allows him to see the thoughts/desires of others.
"Thanks, Pico. I promise to only look when I really need the ener- Wait. Why is your head empty?"
Pico simply shrugged in response despite knowing he had protection against the magic BF was using.
"Has your standards gotten higher since we broke up? Is my ass too small? Too big? Is my chest window not big enough? Is lean and muscular not good enough for you now? Do I have to work out?" He looked at himself in the mirror. "Actually, fuck everything I just said. I'm perfect the way I am. Still though, there's a hottie right in front of you, and you don't even have the smallest dirty thought of him?"
"Hm... Maybe you're not trying hard enough."
"Excuse me? You have no fucking idea how hard it is," he gestured to himself as he walked away to question his abilities as an incubus. "To look this good. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to... Do maintenance on my saxophone."
The moment the door closed, Pico chuckled to himself. "Fucking idiot."
Edit: I forgor that Pico wears reading glasses.

Lost in the Shadows Part. 2
Tumblr media
Weeks passed since her troll encounter at Hogsmeade. August couldn't help but say yes to every request that fell into her lap. Sebastian couldn’t help but follow her. This was her first time free of her parents or a chaperone, her thirst for adventure seemed to be unquenchable.
Originally, no one in town knew her face. Now everyone knew August Lost and looked to her to run errands, or to do a favor. Her true quest was always at the forefront of her mind though. As well as a certain Slytherin.
Coming from a prestigious Wizarding household, she knew that spending time with Sebastian - especially unsupervised - would cause both of her parents to have a howling fit. One that she already experienced when they found out about the troll. She had received a Howler from her mother two weeks after the incident. The message erupts in the middle of the Great Hall.
"A TROLL!?!" Her mother's voice shrilled. "AUGUST VICTORIA LOST. WE DID NOT ALLOW YOU TO GO TO HOGWARTS TO FIGHT TROLLLLLS." Her mother's voice increased in volume, screeching across the hall.
It burst into flames moments later. Imelda with her wand out and clutches her head. "It's too early for that shit!" The grumpy girl snapped. Once everyone focused on their plates in front of them, Imelda gave August a wink. Giving the Slytherin girl a small wave, August was now glad that she took to the time to fly with her classmate.
She had a feeling if her parents knew about the troll, they might already know about all the time she had spent with Sebastian. Now she could only ponder how her parents found out. August looked around the Great Hall. Her eyes landed on the faculty table. Perhaps Professor Weasley? The professor had already made it clear to her that she needed to be more careful about her outside activities.
Or her father's long-time friend, Phineas Nigellus Black. The longer she considered the option, she began to think better. She hadn't seen the Headmaster once outside of meal times, even then it was rare to see him about the castle.
Continuing to examine the Great Hall, she finally landed on Ominis Gaunt. Although their parents are close, August has never become close to the boy herself. Ominis seemed uptight from the first day she met him. When he received his Hogwarts letter, she burned with envy, her parents were so proud of him and chastised her for not being strong enough to get into Hogwarts - granted - neither of them attended either.
It was off to a small private school. She was taught basic magic. Mainly, she was taught about business in the Wizarding World. Until her letter arrived last summer, right after - her thoughts were cut short as Ominis and Sebastian stood, heading to Charms.
August stood quickly and gathered her things and gave chase. “Gaunt!" She called after him once out of the Great Hall. She could see the blond boy's shoulders sag.
"Lost," he sighed, turning around.
"August!" Sebastian quipped, smiling at her. "It's lovely to see you this morning."
Ominis groaned and rolled his eyes. "Please stop."
"Ignore him, what can we do for you today?" Sebastian questioned.
"Did you tell my parents about the troll?"
Sebastian looked between his two friends. "Do you two know each other?"
They ignored him.
"Why would I talk to your parents?" Ominis scoffed.
"Then did you tell your parents?"
"Refer to my last statement."
"Then how do they know!?"August was now shouting and drawing attention.
"I don't know, probably because two students fought a troll in Hogsmeade and WALKED AWAY!" Ominis' usually cool demeanor broke and was now shouting back.
"As much as I am enjoying this, I think it's best if we continue this at another time. Yes?" Sebastian glanced around as people began to whisper. Sebastian tugged on Ominis' elbow. "Let's go."
August huffed as the two boys retreated. She needed to stop and see Professor Fig before Charms began.
After meeting with Fig she at least had more direction on how to continue forward with her own quest, and a date with Professor Hecate, whom she found after her first class. The elderly woman had become her favorite Professor. She was warm, but strict. She expected the best from her students, and August was prepared to give the best. She was surprised when Hecate told her to learn the new spell she had to win two rounds of Crossed Wands and learn spell combinations from Lucan. The “secret” club wasn’t as big of a secret as the students thought.
After winning her duel and receiving her new Incendio spell. Upon returning to Professor Fig she was met with disappointment in the shape of her eccentric Headmaster. Ordering her Professor away and postponing her trip to the Restricted Section. However, Sebastian had mentioned on the way to Hogsmeade that he regularly snuck into the secret library. Now she had the perfect opportunity to speak with her favorite Slytherin.
One of the negatives of Hogwarts is that it is enormous. It took the rest of the day to find the boy. Finally, she found him at the same place she started her search during lunch, in the Great Hall.
“Bash! There you are!” August sat next to him, her body turned toward him to give him her full attention.
“At his house table, with his friends, during dinner, who would have thought,” Ominis said from across the table. August shot the boy a brief glare before giving Sebastian her full attention again.
“What a pleasant surprise,” Sebastian propped an elbow on the table, his chin resting in his palm. “I believe you owe me an explanation, you said you were going to tell me about what happened at the Three Broomsticks well over a week ago. Not many students have Victor Rookwood’s attention. What was that all about?”
“Victor Rookwood?” Ominis straightened, his misty blue eyes searching for them. “Did something else happen in Hogsmeade?”
August let out a long annoyed sigh. She grabbed Sebastian’s free hand and led him away from the group.
“Where’d they go?” she heard Ominis ask behind them.
“Wait, I also want to know what happened!” Grace shouted after them.
August ducked into a darkened alcove, away from prying eyes and ears.
“If you just wanted to get me alone, that’s all you had to say,” Sebastian smiled down at her.
“Oh stop it, I need a favor.”
“Well, not with that attitude.”
“Bash,” she pouted, her lower lip sticking out. Sebastian paused. He was taking in the sight before him. Her curly red hair was down instead of in her usual bun or braid with loose strands falling in front of her light blue eyes. This close to her he could trace her freckles into constellations. Her bottom lip stuck out in a way that made him want to nip at it. Shaking his head he quickly recovered.
“Bash, is it now?” He cleared his throat. She gave him a small nod, looking up at him through long dark lashes. “Fine, tell me about Rookwood first.”
She did. Everyone by now had heard about the dragon attack, however, none had details. August told Sebastian everything. She told him about the attack, the portkey taking her and Professor Fig to the abandoned castle. Gringots and becoming separated from Fig. When she spoke of Ranrock, Sebastian's hands curled into fists.
"Professor Fig wants to keep this quiet. I've already said far too much." August covered her face with her hands. Sebastian stepped to her and pulled her hands free, giving them a reassuring squeeze.
"I'll show you to the Restricted Section. Meet me at Central Hall after dark."
"What if we're caught?"
Detention, no doubt,” he informed her easily and with an added shrug. “We should be fine if we can just avoid Peeves, the nuisance. Aside from wanton destruction of property, he likes nothing more than telling on the likes of us.”
August was silent for a moment as she pondered. "What do you think Peeves does in the summer?"
"He probably goes mad. It all just comes out like bad gas when we return."
Giggling, August gazed up at him. "Thank you for helping me."
"That's what friends do."
"How very Gryffindor of you to say."
Sebastian groaned and rolled his eyes.
"Do you want into the Restricted Section or not?"
"Yes! I'm sorry!" August suppressing a smile. Sebastian was suddenly aware of how close they were. The darkened alcove didn't allow much room between them. They're so close, if Sebastian bent his head he'd be able to kiss her.
August must have realized this during his silence as there was an overwhelming breathlessness between them.
"I should go," August finally says, moving to step back into the hallway. Sebastian catches her hand and pulls her back to him. His hazel eyes searched her blue ones. "Sebastian," his name comes out in a hushed whisper.
"August," his tone is low, warm, and inviting, she couldn't help but wonder if he'd somehow charmed his voice. Leaning down, Sebastian bumps his nose with hers. Pausing, he waits to see if she pulls away. When she doesn't, he continues, tentatively brushing his lips against hers for the first time. Her breath catches in her throat, but she doesn't pull away.
Warm, calloused  fingers traced lightly over her knuckles, then found their way to her wrist, pulse fluttering quickly under his touch. His hand traveled up her arm, landing heavy and warm at the back of her neck. His fingers lace into her thick hair, and his thumb slid behind her ear, tilting her head to him.
August still hasn't moved from him. He had almost expected her to slap him. Almost.
Using his free hand he pulls her closer by slipping his arm around her waist. Her breath hitches at the sudden movement. "I've never... I'm now sure how to..." Her voice trails off.
"Just follow my lead," Sebastian spoke softly.
"August!" Ominis' voice cuts threw the intimate moment. August nearly jumped out of her skin at the fury in the Gaunt boy's voice.
"Ominis!" August quickly looked between the two Slytherin boys.
"Sebastian, I don't think you know what you're doing, so I am going to try and remain calm and ask you to come with me," Ominis spoke each word carefully and through gritted teeth.
"Oh no, I'm very well-versed in what I'm doing," Sebastian hadn't loosened his grip on August yet. "I'd like to go back to where we left off if you don't mind." Sebastian waved his friend away.
"I do mind," Ominis grabbed his friend's arm, tugging at him.
"Ominis, I'm only going to tell you once. Let. Go," Sebastian's voice had dropped dangerously low, his eyes narrowing.
"Sebastian," August finally spoke. "Ominis is right, we shouldn't be doing this."
Sebastian looked down at the girl still wrapped in his arms. "Stop?"
August nodded slowly, Sebastian unfolded his arms from around her. Stepping from his embrace August shivered, suddenly cold.
"Lost, maybe you should go back to your dorm," Ominis suggested. Sebastian opened his mouth, ready to defend August. He was cut off by August squeezing his arm. "I'll talk to you later?" The usual fire in August had burned out, the girl in front of him seemed tired, with downcast eyes and her shoulders up around her ears.
Sebastian nodded. "Of course, Central Hall?"
"Central Hall," she smiled.
_____
Ominis had shooed the other boys out of their dorm as soon as they entered the room.
“Would you like to explain why your bloomers are in such a twist?” Sebastian asked as Ominis began to pace.
“I don’t-” Ominis began. Cutting himself off he pinched the bridge of his nose. He knew Sebastian well enough to know that this was a distraction. If he started now they would spend the next hour, if not several talking in circles about his choice of undergarments.
“Stay away from August,” Ominis deadpanned. Sebastian was taken aback by his friend's abrasiveness, staring at him as if the other boy had just reached out and struck him.
“No,” Sebastian said simply. Turning from his friend he went to his bedside and plucked a book off his nightstand.
“No?” Ominis questioned.
“No,” Sebastian repeated, thumbing through the book. Ominis gapped at his friend. Standing straighter Ominis crossed the room with long strides, taking the book out of Sebastian’s hands he snapped it shut and slammed it onto the table next to them. The boy that was usually so calm and collected changed to someone cold and distant. “You will leave August alone. You and your stupid antics could ruin her, I may not be fond of her, but I would hate to see what her parents would do if they found out her innocence has been taken.”
Sebastian stared at his friend in disbelief. “Innocence? What are you talking about? I was going to kiss her, not fuck her!”
Ominis flinched at the word.
“I don’t know where this high and mighty attitude is coming from Ominis, but you can come off it,” Sebastian crossed to the other side of the room, trying to create distance between them before he did something stupid. “I’ve caught you tumbling out of a closet more than once, don’t act like your better than me.”
This had spun out of control. Ominis was used to disagreeing with Sebastian or the occasional argument, rarely did the two fight. Settling down Ominis spoke softly. “It’s different for August, she is a lady of house Lost. Her father - Lord Augustus - is a Wizengamot. She is held to a different standard,” Ominous sighed. Sitting at the trunk at the end of his bed he explained. “Her family is very traditional. They believe in status, keeping their bloodline pure, they think women should be untouched before marriage.”
“That’s archaic!” Sebastian snapped.
“I agree,” Ominis nodded. “Very few wizard families are still acting on old traditions, the Lost family is one, however.” Standing, Ominis straightened his blazer. “I don’t know how her parents would respond if something were to happen. I do have a feel it would be drastic, with August being removed from Hogwarts.”
Sebastian squeezed his hands into a fist. “Are you telling me I can’t be friends with her?”
“No, I’m saying be careful. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”
“Well,” Sebastian scoffed. “That’s no fun.”
“Precisely.”
Sneaking out of her room was easier than expected. August figured that the Prefects would be on every flight and in the common room, however, the tower was silent. Approaching the Central Hall, Sebastian was crouched by the bottom step. He motioned for her to get down. Creeping down the long flight of stairs proved as a harder challenge than August expecting. She had never noticed how loud the creeks were until she was trying to be quiet.
“You have a mouse in your pocket, Lost? Make every step squeak on your way down why don’t you? ” Sebastian whispered harshly when she was finally in front of him.
“What?” She asked him, lips pursed in frustration. “You try to sneak down those stairs quietly!”
“I will, just not tonight,” Sebastian smirked. Taking her hand in his, he tugged her forward. August was staring at their fingers tangled together when Sebastian pointed with his other hand. “See there? That’s the door we need to reach.”
“What about those two?” August nodded to two prefects who just walked out of the door.
“They would love nothing more than to rat on us to Scirbner, so don’t let them see us - understood?”
August rolled her eyes. “Despite what you just saw-”
“Heard-”
“I can be sneaky. Let’s go.”
Sebastian snorted. “Hold on now,” he squeezed her hand. “There’s a spell you should know - the Disillusionment Charm. Good for getting places you’re not supposed to be.”
Dropping her hand he took out his wand. “Cast it, and you’ll appear as a little more than a trick of the light. Just as long as you keep your distance and stay quiet.”
“You mean I’ll actually be able to turn invisible?” August couldn’t hide the excitement in her voice. She couldn’t count how many times she wanted to be invisible. How many parties has she attended? Forced to dance with boys. Smile, and make small talk with others her age that she had nothing in common with if she could have just slipped away all those times before, just with a whisper of a word.
“Something like that.” Sebastian’s voice cut through her train of thought. It’s not as foolproof as a cloak, but those are expensive. And spells - spells are free.” Sebastian demonstrated the wand's movement. Then showing her the spell, disappearing in front of her. Blinking, August took a step back, forcing her eyes to adjust; she was able to see the faintest shift in light as Sebastian stepped toward her. “Your turn,” he whispered in her ear. Instinctively August reached out to him, her hand gripping the front of his buttoned shirt. The illusion was broken on contact. Looking at him, August noticed that he had left his school robe behind. Wearing just a white button-up, sleeves rolled up to his elbows. Instead of his pressed school pants, he wore more relaxed-fitting trousers that sat low on his hips.
“Miss Lost, are you ogling me?”
“What? N…n… no, absolutely not!” August's voice became shrill at the accusation.
“What was that?” a voice below spoke up.
Sebastian’s hand clamped over August's mouth. With a swish of their wands they both disappeared.
“What was what?” Another voice asked.
“Did you hear that?” The first voice asked.
“Uh..” there was a pause. “No,” the second voice responded after a few seconds of silence.
“I swore I heard something,” the first voice answered back as footsteps approached the stairs to their right.
“Follow me,” Sebastian whispered to her as they went down the stairs to their left.
“Alright! Let me know if you find something,” the second voice called back, looking down at a book that was resting on his lap. Sneaking past and pushing the door to the library. The two students practically ran into the librarian. Pulling August into the closest stack of books Sebastian whispered. “Blast. The librarian’s still here.”
“Damn,” Sebastian spoke as he appeared before her eyes.
“You told me the librarian would be gone by now!”
“I said ‘usually’,” Sebastian corrected. “But it’ll still be all right. Do you see her desk behind me?”
August peered over his shoulder, then nodded. “It’s hard to miss.”
“I didn’t ask for sass.”
“It came free with a silly question.”
“Alright, alright, focus,” Sebastian snapped. “The key is in the drawer of that desk. Now, here’s what we’re going to do. I’ll create a distraction to draw her away - “
“Are you going to ask her a silly question?”
“Maybe during daylight hours - you focus on getting the key. I’ll meet you outside the Restricted Section.”
“You distract; I get the key. Understood.”
“That’s my girl,” Sebastian smiled before disappearing. August swallowed thickly, the words igniting something within her core. Pushing the feeling to the side she disappeared, hoping Sebastian hadn’t noticed the blush that had flared across her face (he did). Stalking toward the front desk, she had to repress her cry of surprise as something at the back of the room crashed to the ground.
“Is someone there?” Scribner called out. “Is that you, Peeves?” Scribner passed the shelf that August had ducked behind, passing her without a second glance. Crawling to the desk, August rifled through the top drawer before finding the key. Clutching the key close, August crept to their meeting spot.
“That wasn’t so difficult after all,” August beamed as she approached Sebastian, holding up the key in triumph. “Now, to find that book!”
With Sebastian’s guidance August was able to get down the first flight of stairs, no squeaking steps this time. With some well-placed distractions, the two students were able to sneak past the two watchful ghosts.
“Should be clear now. No need for us to be skulking about,” Sebastian appeared next to her at the bottom of the stairs. Dropping her own illusion, August bounced gleefully on her toes. “They didn’t see us!”
“They did not. You were wonderful!” he beamed at her.
“Oh please, it was nothing. Thank you for being a great teacher!” August squeezed his hand. Sebastian squeezed back, then pulled her down the next flight of stairs.
August stared at their hands. She wasn’t aware that her heart could flutter and pull apart at the same time. It was like having her favorite treat in front of her, just for her parents to take it away. Slipping her hand from his, she pushed her way forward, examining the tombs on the shelves. “So.. what is it you’ve been looking for?” August said to break the silence that had fallen between them. “I’m looking for a cure to help my twin sister, Anne,” Sebastian’s voice was hard and grim, he was staring intently at his now empty hand. August spun to look at him, she was not expecting this answer. “I’m hoping to cure her, so she can return to Hogwarts. Because Merlin knows everyone else has given up.”
“Sebastian,” sympathy filled August’s eyes and she looked to her friend. She had to stop herself from grabbing ahold of the hand she just let go of. “Why do you think you’ll find a cure in the Restricted Section? Does the Howarts matron have nothing that can help Anne?”
“No!” Sebastian turned from her, stalking across the room Sebastian began leafing through the ancient text. “We’ve tried everyone from Nurse Blainey to St. Mungo’s.”
Sebastian turned on his heel, ready to continue his rant. His Ravenclaw was beginning to collapse in on herself. Her shoulders rounded, eyes to the ground, bottom lip sucked between her teeth, he recognized the anxiety that crept in whenever someone became angry around her.
Not wanting to scare her further, he calmed himself. With a few slow breaths, he changed his tone, to something more lighthearted. “But, I can research on my own. No need to concern yourself with that right now.” Crossing the room to her, he took both her hands in his own, calming her as he ran his thumbs over the back of her knuckles. Her shoulders relaxed, falling from around her ears. His heart flipped, something about his closeness calmed her and it made his heart swell. “Let’s focus on what you’re after,” his voice was low and teasing. “Which is what, precisely? Or was this just another attempt to get me alone?”
August rolled her eyes, the corner of her lips quirking up in a smile.
“Which, Ominis lectured me about for a very very long time today.”
“It apparently did not help.”
“You requested my assistance. Who am I, a simple village boy to turn down a lady,” Sebastian teased. “I believe you owe me.”
“Would you like me to jump into Black Lake for you as well?” August asked.
“I.. what?” Sebastian stepped back from her shaking his head. “Did someone ask you to jump into Black Lake?”
“Grace Pinch-Smedley,” August answered with a shrug.
“Grace Pinch-Smedley, asked you  to jump into the Black Lake, and you did it?” Sebastian repeated slowly.
“To find her grandfather’s astrolabe,” August said simply. Blinking, she looked around at the shelves around them. “I’ll know the book when I see it.” She breezed past Sebastian, who was staring at her dumbfounded. “You sure are being cryptic,” he managed to say, watching her every movement as she searched the shelves intently.
No student was allowed in the Black Lake, and there weren’t too many who wanted to go in. (Between the giant squid (although harmless) the grindylows (certainly not), and the merpeople (questionable)). Seeing as it was the middle of summer, August had either jumped into the lake with her clothes on. Or she had removed several layers to jump in. Given her moralist family, he believed it was probably the first. The image of August emerging from the lake, her wet clothes clinging to her body. Hair slicked back and dripping. All the blood to rush out of Sebastian’s head at the thought. Where the hell had he been when this happened!?
He would be sure to speak to Grace about this later. He had several reasons. Mainly, to never ask August to do such a dangerous task again. The girl had become smitten with danger and had a secret death wish, he was sure of it. August moved to the next room, catching his attention.  Continuing her search for something he obviously could not see.
Pausing, her fingertips brushed over the front of a book. Sebastian peered over her shoulder, voice low in her ear. “Secrets of the Darkest Arts?” His eyebrows raised in surprise. “I’m impressed.”
August swallowed hard. “All magic should be studied. We can only fear what we do not understand.”
“Spoken like a true scholar.”
Turning from the book, and away from Sebastian’s presence, August continued down the hallway and towards a door.
Searching through the next room, August stopped in front of what was left of a suit of armor littering a doorway. As she approached, bursting through the wall was none other than Peeves. “Who have we here!?” Peeves teased twirling between the two. “Sebastian Sallow and his new little friend,” Sebastian gritted his teeth as Peeves leaned in towards August, taunting her. “Out exploring where they shouldn’t be! Naughty naughty, you’ll get caughty!”
“Peeves, don’t you - “ Sebastian was cut off as Peeves passed through August with a rush, knocking the girl backward. Sebastian caught her and pulled her close.
“I’m going to tell! I’m going to tell! I’m going to tell!” Peeves sang as he flew away.
“Are you okay?” Sebastian steadied August.
She nodded, holding her head between both hands “That was very unpleasant.”
“Blasted Peeves!” Sebastian looked in the direction that the poltergeist disappeared.
“I’ve got to stop him, or at least get to the librarian with a good excuse for all of this.”
“Wait, I don’t want you getting into trouble for me.” August grabbed onto Sebastian’s sleeve. Looking between her hand and her face, Sebastian took her hand in his. “Don’t worry,” he said, kissing her palm. The blush that he loved rode a wave of pink up from beneath her shirt collar, and up to her ears. “I have a way with the faculty when it comes to disciplinary matters. Besides - ” Kissing her wrist, feeling her pulse flutter against his lips. “I like having friends who are in my debt.” Squeezing her hand he winked at her. “Now, go. Good luck in your search.”

Have you ever thought about how Dr. Gaster, if he was indeed Sans' father, would react to Sans and Frisk's relationship?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sorry, it took so long to answer as I wanted to digitalize this short comic…
And yeah, I did think as Gaster as Sans’ bio dad. But as I began to develop my own interpretation of Frans and their family, I think is more Gaster of a father figure.
Gaster, in my story, basically raised the skeleton brothers after their biological parents died of an illness that happen in the underground before Frisk fell. He was the one who taught Sans’ love for science and puns, Papyrus’ fascination for pasta, and showed the brothers the basics of their magic since Gaster is a skeleton as well. This is also where Sans learned more advanced Monster Skeleton magic like his Gaster Blasters and became cool friends with young Alphys as she was Gaster’s students. (Papyrus was also taught but he was too young to really understand). Gaster truly cared for the brothers until he “mysteriously disappeared” one night in the lab.
It was a difficult time for the brothers, especially Sans as he grew to love Gaster as his father. He had tried to “rescue” him based on Gaster’s notes that hint at his disappearance. But, with some helpful advise of Alphys, he gave up as he realized Papyrus needed him more and officially declared him dead. However, unknown to Sans, Gaster never left and had always stuck around the brothers. It’s especially not known, that Sans’ and Frisk’s son, Roman, can actually see him.
Ps, because Gaster had always stayed by the skeleton brothers’ sides, he was 100% sure that Sans was forever going to be alone until Frisk came along. And as quickly as he had went to the void, he was a total supporter of Sans and Frisk’s relationship, lol 😂

❝ i've got a hundred thrown out speeches i almost said to you ❞
stats:
full name / greyson henry love
nicknames / grey
age / 38
dob / jan. 5th
star sign / capricorn
sexuality / bisexual
hometown / london, england
current residence / seattle, wa
subject / building a spell: the art of poetry in magic
demeanor:
likes ; brand new pens, the smell of old books, playing guitar, going to smaller venue concerts, taking the ferry, walking the waterfront, adding a new book to his collection, cucumbers
dislikes ; talk of the war, when people ask if he's met the queen after they hear his accent, wands
usual temperament ; quiet, reserved, usually lost in a thought. generally he can be found in his classroom either grading papers or playing his guitar between classes. he always has time for his students, and takes great care in making sure they know they can always come to him for help. he still remembers the disinterest in many of his professors in hogwarts, and he strives to be nothing like them.
highlights:
greyson spent his days in a cold manor. his parents expected too much, always, and he always exceeded expectations. but it was never enough. they always wanted more and used brute force to make that known. it took a long time for him to simply stop caring. he focused on music, the one thing he really cared about, and did well enough in school to get by. he quickly became the family shame. it was why, after leaving hogwarts, he dropped the last name greengrass and changed it to love. a small nod to something he'd never had.
for a long time he floated. played his music well enough to make some money and make a name for himself locally. met a girl named delilah and fell in love. within a few months of their relationship she fell pregnant. he was terrified and she was excited, together they planned their lives together as a family. even started planning a wedding. up until his daughter was born he remained afraid, though he kept it to himself as best as he could. but the moment he watched her come into this world...he loved her. he was still terrified, but he was sure he would be nothing like his parents. rosalind love was born at 2:13am and his world was forever changed.
unfortunately, his relationship with delilah changed as well. she avoided him and their baby. accused him of wanting to run off and just play his music and not loving either of them. and then about 3 months later she was gone. leaving him alone with their daughter. he tried for over a year to find her until he had to just give up and accept that it was just him and his rosie from now on.
the year before she got her letter the rumors about voldemort's return were starting. he knew his daughter was a witch, and that if there was any truth to this she could be in danger, especially if anyone knew her mother was a muggle. so he fled before she could ever get her first letter. in the time since she'd been born he'd started exploring magic again but with a different approach. one that had interested a few magical universities. but it was the offer from uw he took because it brought him and his baby girl far away from a war she should never have to fight. in the years as things ramped up and he heard reports of the tragedies coming from his old school, it cemented his lack of regret over leaving.
rosie opted to only attend a magical school in seattle. her reasoning was that she hated math, and if she was going to be forced to learn it then she better also learn some really cool stuff too. greyson didn't mind, despite his own reservations with the magical world, he could see it was different enough here that things might be okay for her.
his family never reached out, but he heard they'd joined the death eaters, all while still calling him the family shame. he knew very few of them would survive a real war. they were monsters, sure, but they were also pampered housecats that didn't really care to get their hands dirty. should it come to that, he will not mourn them, nor will he ever step foot back there to help the fight. not if it meant putting his daughter at risk.

A rewritten version of a Modern!AU of a campaign between @meteorito618 and I (PS go check them out they’re cool!). This is only Part 1. Hoping to do Part 2 soon. Not too much has changed from the first version just an addition of a new character and I think better writing, so enjoy!
“... and that is how we create a fireball,” a green dragonborn dressed in a loose tank top and yoga pants states. She walks towards the front of a group of around a dozen people of all different races and skill levels, absentmindedly transferring a small fireball from hand to hand. Once she gets to the front, standing in front of some wall-length mirrors, she addresses the group again, “Now, a few things to remember about this spell. While you can control it and create these small bursts of flame, they can also grow into enormous fires, so you have to be careful and keep your concentration up. Also, this spell requires verbal commands, specific movement, and materials so you’ll have to be prepared if you want to use it.” She pauses and waits for nods from the group, some of whom have already followed suit and created their own fireballs, then she smiles and begins again, “Now, the number one rule of self-defense is always just that, defense. What I teach you should never be used for plain harm or in ill-thought of another person.” She pauses again, waiting for agreement, and continues, “As I said before, fireballs can become much bigger than this,” she holds up her own baseball sized fireball, “but for our purposes and to use against any potential threat, this should be enough. In addition to this, we have also learned some disarming strikes, which can be used in addition or in place of, for those without the same magical capabilities. Now,” she shifts on her feet to stand up straighter, she cups the fireball in both of her hands and closes her eyes, “to get rid of the fireball so you don't have to carry it around with you all day,” this earns a few small, some perhaps nervous laughs which makes the dragonborn smile, “just like how we brought forth our magic from our being to form a shape, so we shall release it to where it will wait for our call again.” She removes her hands from around the fireball and it drops for a moment before dissipating in an orange glow. She breathes out a moment before opening her eyes. She claps her hands together and smiles at the group in front of her, ”Now, it is your turn.”
With that, the dragonborn goes around, helping those who cannot quite get their magic to dissipate, or answering questions from those practicing some other defense moves. Eventually, everyone in the room is empty handed and the dragonborn returns to the front of the room. She claps again and smiles, “Great work today everyone. I hope you have a great rest of your days and I hope to see you all again soon. Remember if you need anything from me, my email or text are always open!” With that dismissal, everyone moves to collect their personal belongings before heading to the door leading out of the small studio. The dragonborn holds the door for her students, saying her more personal goodbyes and receiving some in turn many along the lines of, “Thank you for your help today Blaine!” and, “Have a good evening!” With the final person heading out, the dragonborn, Blaine, goes over to a chair which holds a backpack. She reaches in absently and pulls out an envelope as well as a smartphone. She ignores the former for a moment as she powers on her device and sees several messages. The first she clicks on is a group chat with the title “Dbl Trbl”:
Tumblr media
[Image ID: A group text between three members: Jil, Mil, and Blaine. The conversation is titled Dbl Trbl with a smiling devil emoji and reads as follows:
Jil: Mom wants to know when you’ll be coming home. She’s been freaking out!
Jil: Also, Ms. A would like to know, she’s alright tho since… y’know you actually said bye to her (angry emoji)
Mil: Yeah, not like we needed to know or anything…
Mil: Just kidding, we know you had your reasons B. Anyways, we told them that you’re fine, living
your own life.
Jil: But you know them B.
Mil: Not to mention we’d love to have you home to hear about your travels and life.
Jil: All about it and who you might’ve met (smirking emoji)]
Blaine’s scales darken a little as she blushes before she scoffs and types a quick response:
Tumblr media
[Image ID: The same group text as before now with a new message:
Blaine: Yeah, thanks for showing you care (rolling eyes emoji)
Blaine: Anyways, I’ll think about it, just finished a class and I gotta head home.]
She hits send and backs out of that conversation. She has one more notification which she clicks on leading to a chat titled “Boss Lady”:
Tumblr media
[Image ID: A text message chat between two members: Mari and Blaine. The conversation is titled “Boss Lady” and reads as follows:
Mari: Dearie, just wanted to let you know I let a couple of other patrons know about your classes. You might get some new students soon :)
Mari: Payment is due soon! Don’t forget to drop it off!
Blaine: Hey, just wanted to let you know I won’t be in today. Caught something and had to cancel classes.
Mari: Okay, take care of yourself or I’ll lose another paying customer >:(
Mari: Don’t forget to turn in your payment soon. I should be here until the end of the day, but if not just give it to me the next chance you get :D]
Blaine smiles and laughs a little to herself, shutting off her phone’s screen and putting it back in the bag, she grabs a set of keys from inside before slipping the backpack onto her back. Holding the envelope, she heads out the door of her studio. She quickly turns around and locks the door before swinging her bag around and putting the keys away. Then, she walks into the main lobby on the first floor of this building. She walks towards a desk that sits in the middle of the room, just in front of some stairs and facing towards wide windows that lead to a fairly empty street. It was dark outside by now, and it seems that most people were home. Sitting at the desk is a slightly older gnome typing away on an older model desktop.
The gnome looks up as she hears the door lock and smiles as Blaine approaches, “Ah, I see I did not have to remind you about paying. Never really do, but I have to keep up my reputation of a good building owner somehow,” the older gnome, Mari, says with a slight laugh. Blaine hands over the envelope, which Mari inspects for a moment, before her grin grows, “My, my Ms. Copinhaven, I did not know you and Ms. Azuris were on a first name basis now?” she questions with a teasing lilt in her voice. Blaine’s scales darken once again as she leans over to grab the envelope, however Mari pushes her chair back to remain just out of reach. She chuckles and says, “Now humor an old lady will you, what is this?”
Blaine sighs and droops against the counter she was reaching over, giving up defeat on getting it back for now. She stays there a moment looking mournfully at the envelope before looking at Mari and saying, “It’s nothing really, just… what I might want to say to her… but I'm too nervous to.”
Mari studies her for a moment before slowly rising from her chair, “Well if you’re too nervous and you’ve got it all written out already why don’t we just…” she makes a gesture towards a door opposite of Blaine’s studio which has “Azuris Books” written in swooping letters on the front of it.
Blaine reacts immediately, “No, no, no, no, no!” she says moving to the opposite end of the counter to stand in front of the other door with her arms outspread, “I’m… I’m not ready for that yet!”
Mari’s smile turns into a softer version of itself as she lowers herself back into the chair and holds the letter out towards Blaine, “Oh you know I’m only teasing hun. But really, such a nice young lamia and a nice young dragonborn, why don’t you take the chance, especially when I am sure,” she says that word in a decisive tone, “that she likes you as well?”
Blaine relaxes, and reaches out to take the envelope back. She looks at it wistfully for a moment, running her thumb over the lettering, “To Glacia'', before looking back up at Mari, “I don’t know it’s just… She’s such a great friend! And, I don’t want to ruin that if she doesn’t like me back. And, and!” she exclaims, “Have you seen her! I just… how could I even begin to try to approach this I just,” she buries her head in her hands, still holding the envelope, and just groans.
Mari chuckles lightly and replies, “Ah, the troubles of young love. Well, I am sure that you two will figure it out eventually. As for now, I believe you came here for another purpose?” she holds out her hand, waiting.
Blaine peeks out from under her hands, and sighs. She brings her backpack around front and digs into it for a moment, replacing one envelope with another. She deposits the new envelope into Mari’s awaiting hands who opens it and examines what is inside. She nods seeing the amount on the check inside and says, “Perfect as always, Ms. Copinhaven,” she smiles.
Blaine returns the smile and quickly recloses her bag and swings it around her back. She starts backing towards the exit to the place saying, “Y’know I don’t mind your texts, just don’t hound me like some of the other clients and I’ll be fine. There could be a day where I don’t remember, who knows, though I’ll try to stop that from happening.” She reaches the door, and puts a hand on it, turning back to Mari, “Well it is getting late and I know you would like to probably head home soon, so I wish you a goodbye and a goodnight…” she turns to push the door open, but before she does she turns her head to look at the older gnome one last time with a mischievous smirk on her face, “... Mrs. Gildenbloom.” Blaine makes a hasty exit, hearing a bark of laughter resound behind her and a returned goodnight.
As Blaine steps outside, she is met with the slightly cold night of winter, she breathes out and watches her breath fog up slightly before disappearing. Looking around she sees one other person on the street, heading in the other direction. A lone half-orc who when they see Blaine, nods. Blaine nods back before turning and walking towards her apartment nearby. As she walks, her path is lit by tall lamps that hold magical lights that flickered, but would not go out, even with the breeze. Blaine zones out as she walks, going over in her head the progress of her regular clients, and who might need more help as well as what she should teach in her next class. She walks past stores, apartments and homes. No one is really out and if they are they seem to be seeking to get inside away from the colder weather. Few places are open at this time, some that are open 24/7, others who just normally hold late hours, the lights of these places melding with that already coming from the street lamps.
A few minutes into her walk, Blaine comes up on an alley and hears a shout and a grunt of pain. She slows, heading to the entrance and making sure that she does not make any noise before peeking around the corner and into the alleyway.  There, she sees the backs of three people. It seems as if they are confronting something past them, and are struggling with whoever or whatever is at the end of the alleyway. The one in the center seems to especially be struggling, and when they move enough, Blaine can see that it looks like they are trying to cover the mouth of a person they are trying to hold down. What Blaine can see from this person they are holding is that they appear to be mostly covered by a dark green hoodie.
Another of this group held a dagger which appeared to have a glow to it. The final member of the group stood taller than the others and hissed in a low voice at the hooded figure that was struggling, “Cut it out, gooder. We just wanna know who you work for, and where you all work.” They grab at the hood and the figure’s hair and pull their head up, revealing a set of mismatched eyes to Blaine. The third member continues, “You all have taken out too many of my people lately, you and your crew.  I just want some payment for my misfortunes, now ain’t that fair?” The figure in the hood struggles again and manages to kick at the person holding them, allowing them to be dropped for a moment by all members of the group.
Blaine manages to hear shouting from the figure whose mouth is no longer covered by a hand and which shows a handkerchief covering their mouth with the insignia of a cornacopia on it, “Fuck you and your crew! We’ll clean up your dirty acts soon you!...” and that is all the figure manages before the member of the group that held them is able to get a good grip on them and covers their mouth again. The member of the three that was previously talking, who Blaine now assumes is the one taking point, punches the hooded figure. This causes Blaine to stiffen and almost without thinking, she summons a fireball in her palm which steadily grows as she watches the scene in front of her.
“Shut it gooder!” the boss member hisses, “Why don’t we show you we are serious? Maybe your dead body will finally encourage this little campaign you got going to step forward and actually confront me.” With this, they step back and nod towards the member that holds the glowing dagger. This member nods in turn and steps towards the once again struggling hooded figure, before raising the dagger.
Blaine cannot take anymore, “Hey!” she yells, stepping fully into the entrance of the alley. The large fireball now sitting in her hands lights her face in a dramatic way and shows her anger. “Catch!” she calls out as she chucks the ball towards the three members of the group and the hooded figure. The one holding the figure yelps and drops them, leaping out of the way. This knocks the one with the dagger into the giant fireball’s path which hits them head on. They yell as it comes into contact with them, burning their clothes and charring a portion of their chest. They take large, pained breaths for a few moments until they finally drop their dagger and fall unconscious. The boss member looks towards Blaine who already has another fireball at the ready. “If I were you,” she starts, bouncing the fireball between her hands, “I would grab your friends and leave while you still can.”
The leader of the three hisses a quick command at the one that was previously holding the hooded figure. Together, they pick up their fallen partner before heading towards the entrance of the alley. Blaine moves to the side as they approach, giving them room to leave, but still holding her summoned fireball between herself and the three of them. As they finally reach the street, the boss turns back to Blaine and growls out, “You’ll regret this. You just made a bad enemy today, dragonborn.” The three hurry away into the night. Blaine sighs and releases the tension she held in her body. She drops the fireball which dissipates mid-air, as she turns back into the alley to see if the hooded figure needed any help.
Instead, she turns around to see two different colored eyes staring straight at her, studying her. She sees green-toned skin and dark hair streaked with white. And most prominently, a large flaming sword in this person’s grasp that was pointed straight at her:
Tumblr media
[Image ID: An image of a person with a green hoodie on. They have one blue and one green eye. Their skin is light green in tone. They have long dark hair with white running through it and a braid on one side. They have pointed ears, and a slit in one eyebrow. They wear a handkerchief with a symbol of a cornucopia on it. They wear a teal colored necklace. They are holding a sword which is covered in fire.]
Blaine automatically puts up her hands, taking in a sharp breath and looking over this figure. The person wore dark colored jeans that were a loose fit, hiking boots, a dark green hoodie, and a lighter green bandana with a cornucopia that covered the bottom half of their face. Their dark hair streaked with white tumbled out of their hood and had a braid on one side. The two stood looking at each other for a long time, before Blaine decides to break the silence.
“Hey… um, sorry for scaring you if I did. I just heard a shout? And thought maybe I could help. Didn’t really want anyone to get hurt, y’know I actually work with people to prevent that on a day to day basis, kinda a self-made job really…” she lets her sentence fade with a nervous and awkward laugh. The person in front of her blinks a few times, their hold on the sword shifting but not lowering at all.
The person finally speaks, their eyes narrowing, “You’re telling me you weren’t with those thugs? You aren’t part of the Gindilian Gang?” they question, sword moving slightly closer to where Blaine is worried the fire might burn her.
“What? What… no?! I don’t even…” she pauses and thinks a moment before continuing, “I think maybe I heard about them on the news? They’ve been more of a nuisance and… more active lately right?” she questions, the person in front of her giving her a slight nod but still looking suspicious. “But… but no! I do the complete opposite of being in a gang, I run a self-defense course not far from here actually! You don’t have to trust me, I mean, I doubt we’ll meet again, and it’s not like I’m planning to go to the cops or anything, but can you at least believe me enough to not hurt me with that?” she gestures with her head towards the still alight blade practically in her face. The person stares at Blaine some more, trying to judge her intent. Eventually they seem to find their answer and opens their hand, allowing the blade to drop slightly before it dissipates, much as Blaine does with her fireballs. Blaine lets out a short sigh, before stuttering out a startled response as the person moves past them to leave the alley, “Wait! You… you’re okay right? And you’re just going to leave that there?” she gestures to the dagger still glowing faintly on the ground.
The person glances back with a smile that shows in their eyes, “You seem smart, why don’t you keep that. Just know that if you do anything bad with it, and word reaches me, I will come find you. As for me?” they shrug, a playful lilt in their voice, “I’ll be okay. See you around… pal.” They slip off onto the street and quickly moves away from sight as Blaine stands a bit shocked. As she recovers, she glances down at the dagger which has a slight green glow. She bends down and picks it up, testing the weight in her hands. She does a few quick moves with it, before smiling. She swings her backpack around and opens it, finding her spare change of clothing, she wraps her new dagger up before replacing it in the bag and closing it. She shifts the bag back onto her back before heading back out of the alley and heading home as she intended to before. She can’t help but think of the events that happened as she falls asleep that night.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blaine kept the encounter she had in the alley in her mind as weeks passed by. She expressed the importance of self-defense in her classes even more, never revealing exactly what she had experienced, but alluding to it when some of her clients would not take the classes very seriously. She was more alert than ever when traveling around town, especially at night, wondering whether she may run into something like what happened in the alley again. Mira took notice of her caution, asking if she was alright. Blaine would always give a quick answer before all but running out of the door.
Now, it was a little after two months after the events in the alley, and Blaine was in her office in the back of the studio where she held classes. She sighs, her head held in her hand and clicks on her phone. She scowls as she sees it is now past midnight. Blaine shuffles the papers she was working on regarding finances and customers and puts them neatly away in her desk before gathering her things and stepping into the main lobby area of the building. Mari wasn’t there and it was dark, which made sense considering how late it was. Blaine locked her own studio’s door before heading to the main entrance, pulling out the main door’s keys that Mari gave her for such circumstances. She locked the door behind her, and nodded to herself when she checked to be sure it was for sure locked. Her eyes fell shut slightly as she walked, having not slept too well the night before with nightmares of enchanted daggers and death consuming her sleep. However, just as she was beginning to fall asleep on her feet, she is startled awake by a loud noise.
Her eyes snap open to see two people darting towards her with lights flashing behind them. Yells and shouts sound from a group behind the two as they run. Blaine froze, not knowing what was going on, but as the two got closer, she recognized something that made her realize that this situation may be more familiar than she first believed. These two people in dark clothes, wore light green handkerchiefs with a cornucopia on them, which covered the bottom halves of their faces.
Much too quickly, they were upon Blaine, both of them splitting to be on either side of her, and both grabbing one of her arms, dragging Blaine back a couple steps in surprise. Blaine quickly got to her senses and pulled herself away, spinning to face the two. They halt for a second in their running, turning to face Blaine. She quickly notices a few features regarding the two. They both were around the same height and had a bright red tone to their skin. They had dark black hair and horns curling behind their heads which were brightly decorated with jewelry. Their eyes were a deep purple, and they had tails which lagged behind them.
One of them shouts, in a more masculine voice, “We can’t explain, but you must run, now!”
The other chimes in with a more feminine voice, “Yes, unless you wish to be dead, come on!”
They both turn and begin running again. Blaine, looking behind her, did as well as the other group with the lights did not seem too far behind. She managed to catch up to the two dark-clothed people, just managing to keep up with them as they turned down alleys, jumped fences, and hid behind corners until finally they ran into an abandoned building. All was quiet for a few moments, save the breaths the three took, before a pounding of footsteps and shouting of threats passed by. After waiting a few minutes that seemed to stretch far too long, the two people Blaine was following let out twin sighs, signaling that the chase was apparently done. The two looked over to Blaine who was bent over catching her breath, and thinking about what she was once again caught up in. The two were whispering, Blaine not able to make out what it was they were saying. As she straightened, she caught the two looking further into the building, seemingly at nothing, before they look back at her in thought.
Before any of them could say anything, a person appeared. To Blaine at least, that is entirely what it looked like. A halfling woman with orange hair and patches of different colored skin stood before the three. She looked at the two hooded figures and scolded, “You two not only got found by the Gindilian Gang, almost got caught, but you also managed to bring an un-inducted person to our base?”
One of the two, the one with the slightly more feminine voice, responded, “Well, they probably didn’t know it was our base until you said so Gwen!”
The one with the slightly more masculine voice chimed in, “Yeah, if anything YOU just revealed our base. What a leader, huh?”
The woman took a deep breath in, shutting her eyes and pinching the bridge of her nose. She was just about to retort, but before she could, another person appeared from halfway into the building. Blaine straightened at the appearance of this new person. Well not new to her. A half-elf stood who had a lighter green skin tone, and had one thing that Blaine would not have forgotten… two different colored eyes. They stared at Blaine for a few moments, before a smile twitched onto their face and they placed their hand on Gwen’s shoulder. Gwen stopped and looked up, ready to snap at whoever interrupted her before realizing who it was. She relaxed, but raised a brow at the half-elf who was looking solely at Blaine.
“Well pal,” they begin, “never truly thought I’d see you around again.” This draws a startled laugh out of Blaine which draws the attention of the other three in the room.
One of the hooded figures, with a masculine voice, questions, “You know them?” not indicating who they were asking the question to.
The half-elf ignores the question, stepping forward and offering a hand to Blaine who hesitantly takes it. They squeeze her hand and give it a firm shake before smiling, “Well, maybe it is time to induct some more new people. Especially since this one saved my hide and already knows where the base is.” They look to the people around the room who look slightly shocked but also encouraged at the news. Then, they turn back to Blaine with a wide grin, “So, what do you say, pal. Want to become a ‘gooder’?” Blaine’s eyes widen as she looks at the others. Gwen seems slightly shocked, but smiles at Blaine appreciatively , though Blaine does not understand why. The two figures remove their hoods and handkerchiefs revealing similar looking tieflings, one having part of their head shaved to mark a difference. Both are smiling at Blaine in excitement.
Blaine looks back to the half-elf and gives her answer. “Well… I suppose why not? But first, what’s your name… pal?” She says this with a growing smile as she gets excited and intrigued by the events happening around her.
The half-elf looks giddy before turning and motioning for them all to follow. They say over their shoulder, “The name’s Darjo, and more introductions can be made later. For now though… welcome to Bjarga.” Darjo steps further into the building and disappears. Gwen and the other two do as well. Blaine stares at where they all disappeared, before taking a deep breath, and plunging into the unknown.
Zoa Marintana
Tumblr media
☾ - At a Glance - ☽
★ Gender - Cis female (she/her) ★ Orientation - Pansexual ★ Age - 38 ★ Birthday - 11 Gloiris (28 Apr) ★ Occupation - Botanist, professor ★ Species - Human, demigod
★ MBTI - ESTJ ★ Archetype - The Explorer ★ Alignment - Chaotic good ★ Role - Supporting
★ Appearance / Aesthetics A strong woman with relatively long, wild dark hair. She's dealing with some magical necrosis at the moment. Blues and greens are a good palette for her! I haven’t drawn her yet since she doesn’t show up right away in the story but she’s gorgeous trust me ok. Birthmark on her right shoulder blade.
Tumblr media
☾ - Character - ☽
★ Personality Swift, no-nonsense, and keen as a hawk. Zoa is an ace and she knows it. She's confident, but not cocky, only taking highly calculated risks once she's weighed all the options. She's also rather quick on her feet with a knack for getting out of tight situations. A natural leader who’s quite proud of her power. A “no” to her is simply an invitation to find another way to her goal.
Zoa is highly inquisitive and loves to learn, especially about the natural world. She's a bit of a nerd in that respect and could really just talk about trees all day if she thought anyone would listen. Before she was captured by pirates, she was a botany professor and would gleefully force her students to do so on the daily.
★ Magic Water and earth based Heart and Eye magic. She can communicate with plants and animals and command them to do her bidding, as well as can use aquamancy/aquakinesis to an extent. Sometimes, too, Palaamia fights back when she tries to use her magic because of the pain. Zoa can alter surface tension, alter the humidity of an area and do that good Mantis Shrimp Punch™. Currently, the magic drain is causing a form of necrosis to her body and abilities which manifests physically in patches on her body that look like cooling lava. It’s slowly killing both she and Palaamia. Zoa has a hypothetical affinity for healing, but is unable to access it because of her affliction. She's also pretty empathetic.
Zoa’s Lume is a peryton named Rhistel. Her screbe is made of wood and resin.
Tumblr media
☾ - Life and Details - ☽
★ History Zoa comes from a long line of wealthy starbinders. When she was very young, a Lunar Acolyte (TBN) appeared to her and told her that she was the reincarnated version of Remion, Palaamia's child. But she had to promise to keep it a secret at all costs. And so, Zoa grew up pretending she was just a normal starbinder kid like the rest of them. It wasn’t easy, though, as her power was much more powerful than those of her peers at times. As she grew in her magic, Palaamia's four Acolytes befriended and trained her. They grew very close.
But one day, everything changed. When she was a teenager, one of Nulgol's Fallen Stars found her and disguised itself as an Acolyte to gain her trust. Then, it attempted to steal her Spark. The real Acolyte came to her defense, but was gravely injured and Zoa's Spark was damaged. A dark, necrotic magical affliction overtook Zoa and remains to this day, making her magic volatile and work against her. She hasn't seen the Acolytes since.
Terrified and ashamed, she never told anyone about the necrosis. Then, during a magic lesson at school, it caused her magic to accidentally harm several of her Lume, classmates, and professor. Gravely. She didn't intend for this to happen of course, but that didn't matter. She was expelled and brought shame upon her family name. Her Lume abandoned her. Zoa moved far away from the city where she'd grown up, looking for a new life to start over with.
She'd always loved trees, so across the sea, she became a botany professor. It was at her institution where she met the love of her life–Mahnes, one of the school’s librarians. When Zoa's necrosis struck again and hurt people at her new school, her Lume was injured and abandoned her, too. Zoa was asked to leave the institution forever and was disgraced, but Mahnes came with her, wanting to help. They're searching together for the heart of Palaamia in order to heal the affliction. Zoa also wants to reunite with her Lume, Rhistel, and make amends.
★ Trivia - Her favorite tree is a mangrove - Fruit connoisseur - Somehow has immaculate handwriting - Keeps a journal of her scientific findings and sometimes to stay sane - Her name was inspired by a type of coral
Could I get the dorm leader’s reactions to a fem!S/O who punched a student because he was being creepy towards her?
Dorm Leaders + MC Punching Someone
Credits to my precious wife The Miss; I have never punched someone and my wife teaches and does self defense and martial arts, so she helped me out greatly. Work is cut for length purposes.
Warnings: creepy behaviour from NPC students, protective behaviour dorm leaders
Malleus Draconia
Malleus knew it was moments after your last class finished, so why were you late?
Sebek quickly noticed his master, and said that the teacher called for you
He wasted no time rushing to the teacher's room, only for it to be empty…
"I have nothing to do with you!"
He heard your voice, rushing to the source. You were in the gardens with another annoying student…
Unknowingly, he gathered his magic at his fingertips, ready to attack
CRACK!
Your lover witnessed you sucker punch that student right in the nose
What was this? That child of man was deadlier than he thought… and the thought thrilled him
The student scurried away, with a bleeding nose and that was when Malleus revealed himself
He watched as his YN shifted to her timid self once more. Maybe she was embarrassed?
"I witnessed all of it," He said. "My little treasure… you're quite the silent fierce type aren't you?"
You accepted Malleus taking you in his arms. You snuggled into his shoulders, knowing no one was there. "Only to people who annoy me. I'd never do that to you."
He pressed a soft kiss to your forehead, enjoying this moment with you. "As much as I witnessed how capable you were YN, if those punches ever graze your skin, I might not hesitate to skin them…"
You smacked Malleus playfully. "I swear, I can be safe."
Malleus overall was thrilled every time you showed any display of your strength, although you were quite docile with him so he'd have to sneak around to see you pummel some worthless students
Riddle Rosehearts
He was severely upset that your absence caused his unbirthday party to be delayed
He asked for Ace and Deuce to search for you, but he himself found you near the school labs
Oh, how his blood boiled seeing that it was a Heartsyabul student approaching you…
He was about to approach the student and call him off for his rude remarks, but he didn't expect what was coming next
You punched the much taller student in the stomach, and the student hurled over in pain
"You… You-!"
"I dare you to continue that sentence…" Riddle said, stepping out and standing next to you
He shamelessly brought your knuckles to his lips, "Did you bruise your knuckles my Queen?"
The student tried to run away, but Riddle was quicker to respond
"Off With Your Head."
He would certainly have fun punishing the ignorant student later, but for now he had to tend to you
"I never knew you could do that," He admitted, escorting you back to the location of the unbirthday party. "I'm quite surprised."
You shook your head, feeling a bit shy that Riddle of all people was praising you so. "It's self defense. I'm not one to go around punching people…"
Riddle after having knowledge of your skills wouldn't be afraid to leave you alone, and he'd have his little fantasy of you teaching him some physical defense… With you two being close… He can dream can't he?
Kalim Al-Asim
Kalim had you seated next to him during one of Scarabia's parties, enjoying the festivities
Jamil had come over, asking you to excuse your boyfriend as other guests had arrived and were awaiting the host of the events
Kalim greeted the guests, although his voice was slightly strained since all he could think about was getting back to you
As he let the guests roam around, he took one glance at where you were supposed to be…
And saw the view of someone chatting you up…
Well, as the charismatic host he is, he has to put this student in his place-
CRASH!
The student fell onto a small table of snacks after you punched that student from getting too close
"I said," You poured the remaining of your drink on his head. "I don't want to be bothered."
Kalim's jaw dropped at the entire scene, and in his heart he might've been a little afraid of you
As he turned to Jamil, Jamil shook his head. "I didn't teach her that."
After the other servants cleaned the mess up, Kalim approach you cautiously. Giving you a hug from behind
He was relieved feeling your shoulders relax, but he had to make sure…
"YN… Would you punch me if I ever upset you?"
You quickly faced Kalim, holding his face in your hands, shaking your head. "No I won't. That guy was just being annoying…" You gave him a cheeky peck on his jaw. "And how could I ruin this adorable face?"
Kalim didn't mind you punching whoever annoyed you, but he was very impressed that it had gotten to the point where if someone bothered you, Kalim would be on the sidelines cheering at you
Azul Ashengrotto
As the dorm leader who runs the Mostro Lounge, Azul and the Leech twins would be typically busy with the constant rush of customers
In this instance he was grateful that you were willing to help out with the rush hours
He had you and the twins busy taking orders as he organised his contracts
There shouldn't be any troublesome patrons, or that's what he thought…
"Hey! Pretty waitress, why don't you sit with us? I'll buy you a drink!" Some sleazy customer hollered at you
You tried to ignore the students, continuing your duties. Floyd and Jade were too busy to kick them out, but you thought that they could be dealt with later…
From his view, Azul could only watch in disgust as the student dared to pull you to him
Before the student could put his hands on you, you swiped a clean punch across his face
The moment that happened, Azul couldn't help but laugh
The clique of the knocked out student scrambled out, intimidated by the creepy auras the twins emitted, and the way the Lounge owner's eyes pierced their core
You held your wrist in your hand, shaking off the slight pain. Jade and Floyd quickly escorted you to Azul's office area, and Jade even gave you a pat on the head for a job well done
Azul couldn't help himself from hugging you tight, showering you in praises and kissing your hand even though you insisted you weren't seriously injured
"My Angelfish… I should hire you for the Lounge's security instead," He joked, sitting next to you. "Actually… Do as you like! I get quite entertained with that fiery look in your eyes when you do get a hit or two!"
Long story short, you instead worked closely with Azul as a pseudo-bodyguard
Idia Shroud
Idia enjoyed his quiet time, especially quiet time with you, Ortho and video games
He didn't usually go outside, but he would always walk with you after class since you always calmed his nerves
Sometimes, if he was bold enough, he'd ask to walk hand in hand with you after a school day
At times, you could hear the gossip of some students, particularly about Idia…
On one day, Idia had to meet up with Azul due to club work. You decided to meet up with Ortho while waiting for Idia, since Idia wanted to continue his game's story mode with you
Idia quickly finished his business, but as he exited the room, he couldn't help but eavesdrop an interesting conversation…
"Why don't you hang out with us instead of that shut-in of a dorm leader?"
His attention was on the group of boys talking to you, closing in on you
He was caught off guard as you punched the leader square in the nose
"That's for insulting my boyfriend."
Idia had to admit that he got excited over you being so cool! It's like you're the protagonist that rescues the archmage-
Wait… That means that he's the archmage…
After scaring away the group away, Idia ran up to you, hugging you. His jacket covered you both, as you looked up at Idia…
"YN… Thank you…"
Leona Kingscholar
Leona always invites you to laze around, so when you were late, he got irritated
He was competent enough to memorise your schedule, so he knew where you would most likely be
He made his presence known, although he didn't care about the other students in his way
His ears perked up hearing your voice. Why were you in the labs?
He peaked inside to see some boys corner you. Ah… Some students that don't know their place…
"C'mon! Just one date and then you can go to that lion boy toy of yours!"
Oh… Now he was ticked off…
Before he could make a grand entrance, he heard a thud
The student hurled over in pain, clutching his lower half and gasping for air…
Oh… so the little herbivore punched him there…
He couldn't help but laugh, kicking the door open. You immediately went to his side, huffing away from those rude students
As Leona escorted you to his room, he mischievously called you out on it, "I didn't take you for one to go for the crown jewels… You gotta sanitise your hands before touching my sheets though."
You poked Leona's cheek, stopping him from teasing you, "And you, Leona, I might kick yours instead if you don't stop teasing me!"
You yelped, being carried by him. "No can do YN~"
Vil Schoenheit
Vil wondered why you didn't come find him after classes. You'd usually have some afternoon tea with him
He didn't think you'd skip out on purpose, so he commanded Rook to search for you
He also walked around, asking the students in your year whether they saw you or not
He grew anxious, quickening his pace until he heard your voice-
"I don't have anything to do with you, so stop it!"
He turned the corner, seeing you and your arms crossed and a group of students confronting you
One reached out their hand to you, which you retaliated by punching him square in the jaw
The student fell on his other friends, and Vil decided that this was enough
"Ah… I don't think it was wise to mess with my sweet potato…"
The remaining students scrambled to their feet, fearing the dorm leader's magic
"Scram, won't you?"
Vil didn't need to say it twice. The students disappeared, leaving you with Vil
Vil hugged you, patting your head. "My YN… I'm glad that you can defend yourself, but if you continue to do this, your knuckles will be bruised and I refuse to allow that."
You stood on your toes, pecking him on the cheek. "I appreciate the thought Vil."
Demigod MC Series: Nyx
Nyx is a primordial goddess and the Greek personification of Night - the mother of Hypnos, Thanatos, Nemesis, and many more. She's a mysterious figure in their mythos as there's little surviving info about her cult. What is known, however, is that she was portrayed as beautiful, powerful, and feared by Zeus himself.
Demigod MC Series: Intro, Aphrodite, Hermes, Hades, Dionysus, Demeter, Athena, Hades Pt. 2, Poseidon, Ares, Hestia, Nyx
Lucifer
What happens when you take a being born from the darkness and place them in a realm of eternal night…?
The answer came when the MC first stepped out of the portal. Everyone in the room was wholly expecting a normal-looking, confused human they could get up to speed, however…
The MC's skin suddenly darkened until it was as black as a shadow, their clothes levitated around them as if they were defying gravity, and glimmering speckles dotted their skin like twinkling stars.
Even their eyes turned a pure, glowing white without irises or pupils… Like two crowning stars locked into a body made from the shimmering night sky...
They weren't human. At the time, Lucifer wasn't even sure he could say what they were... Breathtaking, certainly, but there was something else about them that he couldn't place… something… foreboding...
Diavolo must have had the same unease because Barbatos was put in charge of monitoring them. The butler would send reports to them both and the results would range from benign to nerve-racking...
They kept their distance from his brothers and most people, but their power seemed immense... Barbs would report seeing them making small items float or summoning a meteor shower from their fingertips!
Lucifer ended up actually tasting their powers only once. When they stepped in to protect Beel and Luke and he went to attack them…
The whole House began to shake and the candles of the tomb started going out one by one as the air grew intolerably heavy... He could have sworn he saw a vortex of… something... swirling at their feet...
He backed off immediately and Beel and Luke got off with a warning, mostly because he was trying not to look utterly petrified...
He's never met a more beautiful and dangerous creature in his life… Pact mark or no, this is probably the only person the firstborn will admit he never wants to have to fight because he'd lose, big time.
Mammon
He was expecting to find a human when he walked into the Student Council room, not an alien!!
Mammon was seriously scared of the MC when they first met because he legitimately believed they were an extraterrestrial sent to probe him!!... Or whatever else those scary movies say aliens do, lay eggs in his stomach?
He straight up avoided them like the plague until the Goldie incident more or less bound them together. But even then there was a distance between them he just couldn't place…
Naturally, it bothers a demon a bit if their master doesn't seem to like them, so he eventually cornered them one day to force them to tell him why they'd been running off!
As it turned out, the MC actually knew as little about their new form everybody else! They had been perfectly normal in the human world, but for some reason the Devildom supercharged them! They could tell that they were powerful, but had no idea how to control themselves yet and it scared them...
So Mammon became their first unofficial "coach." Not that he knew how to train them or anything, but he was the first person supportive enough to even try to help them learn their new powers.
It led to some… interesting misadventures. Like when the MC unexpectedly burst every water pipe in the House or when they got a little too frustrated and ripped the kitchen apart with an accidental twister, but hey, Mammon was always there for them at least.
Of course, because he's who he is, he's not above asking the MC to help him with his schemes for "training purposes…" Infiltration is more fun if you're weightless, after all!
Speaking of weightless… His favorite way to float is when the MC gets excited and hugs him. They can't help but levitate them both off the ground when they're that happy and it makes the whole hug that much sweeter.
Leviathan
It's… it's like he's in his very own Magical Girl anime!!! Uh, "I'm a Demon and this is My New Life with a Magic Starchild!!"-or something like that. 🤷‍♀️
He didn't even think their transformation was real when he first saw it! He really thought it was an elaborate body art cosplay but then their "freckles" rearranged themselves when he frightened them, so it had to be real!!
He'll declare that they're probably (literally) the coolest thing on the planet. They have the looks of an epic fantasy character plus insane powers to boot!
…though uh… they may need a training arc or two to learn how to control them… 😅
Since their powers are apparently tied to their emotions, Levi's seen them do a whole bunch of stuff that's not entirely on purpose... Like, they can make things float when they're happy and push everything down when they're sad.
So once he showed them one of those "tragic ending" animes for fun, but they cried so hard that they increased gravity and accidentally sent his bathtub crashing into the basement…
The worst of it is when they're mad, though. He made the mistake of making them play a rage game once and they ended up shattering all the glass in his room! His aquarium wall and Henry's fishtank included!!
They were able to make a zero G sphere of water in order to save Henry's life, but the cleanup was brutal… They were super sorry, but Levi took most of the blame himself anyway.
Honestly, he'd have been more mad but their body is clearly not something they can control just yet. Plus, it's so cool that he can put up with a little destruction anyway, you know?
Satan
Well, isn't that an interesting phenomenon?
Meeting a demigod is exciting enough, but one who reacted to the Devildom like that? It was pretty much unheard of!
Though he'd hate to admit it, Satan stalked the MC just as closely as Barbatos for a little while... But only because he was a little unsure of how to approach them…
They kept to themselves and their powers seemed "a little" unpredictable (see Levi's orphaned bathtub). Thankfully, Mammon ended up recommending the MC to him since Satan's one of the smartest guys around.
Satan made a better coach than Mammon, anyway. He was far more knowledgeable and actually able to hypothesize the strength their powers, which came in handy because uh… well…
Look. The whole realm 'ooohs' and 'ahhhs' over their appearance but they're all fools - no morons - for not noticing what potential the MC actually has. Satan was positive that the MC is the most powerful being in the Devildom, without question.
They had a complete control over gravity, atmospheric pressure, and even astronomical bodies… If they wanted to, they could literally pluck a planet out of orbit and send it careening into who knows what!
Want more terrifying? They could create near-matterless vacuums at the palms of their hands with the potential to suffocate, crush, or rip apart basically anything they wanted with implosive force….
Does he even need to spell out why that's utterly horrifying??
At least the MC seemed to be a genuinely nice person who wanted to control their powers better… Their emotions often got in the way but they tried their best.
He likes the MC a lot, but he'd be lying if he said that they didn’t also terrify him… They may have been pretty normal in the human world, but give them endless night and they may as well be a god...
Asmodeus
Oh… My… Father!!! They're GORGEOUS!!!!
From the moment their transformation completed, Asmo had never seen anything like them! He said that they were like a living droplet of the night sky!
They were magnificent!! They were radiant!!! He was posting pictures of them before they had even said their first sentence!!
So Asmo was pretty much patient zero for any and all rumors and hype about the MC after that... Apparently someone like them only visits the Devildom every one, maybe two, centuries so everybody was bound to get talking.
Thankfully, the MC's habit of ducking out of the House kept them from becoming a full on sideshow. Unfortunately, however, Asmodeus was relentless!
He'd beg them to try modeling or make videos with him because of their unique look! He'd lay on the praises, but it was a little... much. It wasn't until Mammon finally stepped that he backed off a bit.
Asmo sometimes forgets that not everyone puts as much emphasis on looks as he does... Though he meant well, he hadn't realized that the MC maybe wouldn't appreciate him making such a big deal out of their appearance change. Pretty as it was, it was still involuntary to them...
Of course, after they told him this he cooled off and stopped putting them out there so publicly but even still he could hardly keep his eyes off of them... unless he was looking in a mirror, of course. 😘
A fun fact about the MC: when they blush, their skin makes a pink nebula. And thanks to his antics, Asmo has seen their lively pink cheeks many, many times… 🤭
Beelzebub
Belphie would like them, wouldn't he...?
Beel's first reaction upon seeing the MC was genuine sadness, as seeing the stars with his twin brother still gone often brought him…
The sadness didn't last too long at least because Beel tried his best to see the MC more like a person than a work of art or an oddity. Sure, they looked different - like really different - but they still laughed, cried, and ate like everybody else so they couldn't be that different.
Though then again, most people don't end up floating in midair when they laugh… Eh, oh well. It's not like those little details bother him. 🤷‍♀️
He always remained certain that Belphie would like the MC so he told them a lot about him. Since his twin loved stargazing, it'd only be natural that he'd like someone who looked like the stars, right?
Aside from the occasional tangent about his brother, Beel would also help the MC with their training by letting them help him with his training!
Controlling gravity can be pretty nifty for strength/resistance exercises, so there would be days where Beel would just pull a Dragon Ball and walk around at 1.5 or 2 times Earth's gravity thanks to having the MC on his back!
Sure, lifting a glass of milk becane so difficult that he literally broke a sweat from trying, but he felt like he can juggle motorcycles afterwards so who's complaining? Not him!
Belphegor
……
………….
Was it some kind of joke?
The MC was not human. There was no way in heaven or hell that whatever he lured to the attic was supposed to be a human!!
Really, everything about the MC and their situation seemed directly designed to throw a monkey wrench into his plans...
One: They weren't human so how was he supposed to ruin Diavolo's dream? Two: They were clearly some kind of magical being so they could likely defend themselves…
But third ans most embarrassing of all... he honestly, genuinely, has never seen a more amazing person in his life. Blame it on his soft spot for the stars, but the moment the MC step up to his prison bars, he was smitten...
And. He. HATED IT!
Look, as much as he loved the night sky, he wasn't about to let some random non-human derail his anger! He was stronger than that!
He managed to hold onto his bitterness just long enough to make a halfhearted attempt on their life after they got the door open, but uh…
His brothers found Belphie when he fell through a newly-made hole in the ceiling... Said hole was made when his body slammed to the ground hard enough to crash through the attic floor... 😣
If the damage they caused wasn't enough to change his mind (which it was), then their distress when they thought they might have hurt him certainly did. Even their tears looked like stardust...
After far too long, Belphie got over his denial and began to properly love MC. If he liked stargazing before, he adored it now because he never even has to get out of bed! He can just roll over and follow the "stars" on the MC's body!
Unfortunately, that same love means it also takes a lot to ditch him if they get sick of being his personal night's sky… The brothers have found him floated up and sleeping on the ceiling on numerous occasions so the mortal can get some fresh air (clever MC)...
