I think one of the most amazing things we can experience is seeing the growth of a person we love and care about. seeing that person become the most confident version of themselves, seeing that person want to be what they want to be no matter who likes it or not. and that's one thing i've always wanted for jeongguk. out of all the members jeongguk was always the one who cared the most about the opinion of others and the one who cared the most about maintaining a "maknae image". even in simple things like, having a muscular body. a few years ago jeongguk said he wanted to have the a muscular body but his company said he had to maintain a maknae image. jeongguk ever since his first interview when they debuted he always showed how much he loved tattoos and piercings. then he started getting "armys" telling him to not get any more piercings and never get tattoos. when he became an adult he even said that he was giving up on getting more piercings and tattoos because these people wouldn't like it. like??? he was always an apologetic person for things he shouldn't need. so after that jeongguk started to mention many times in interviews how he saw jungkook artist and jungkook offstage as a totally different person. he was often very hard on himself offstage. he truly believed that he was two different people. and it was something that lasted for some years. it was at the same time that he shared with us the maspierce called 'decalcomania'. it was a time that I was really so worried. I just wanted him to feel that we were here for them. i wanted so much to help him see that we love bangtan on stage but one of the things that makes bangtan so special is the members. the personality of each member. that we love bangtan on stage but also the bangtan offstage that they feel comfortable sharing with us. I just love it so much when they share with us personal things about their personalities, their personal thoughts. this is something that makes us connect even more with them.

so after that time bangtan had that time for them and jeongguk came back with tattoos. that was such an amazing thing for me. because for me that was also him making it clear that he was now becoming someone who won't let anyone else say what he can or can't do with his body. this may be a small thing for some people but not for others. even for a person who doesn't have a work like his, tattoos can be a liberation and you saying "this is my body and I do what I want with it". him having tattoos certainly had a huge and amazing impact.

after that we could already see how jeongguk was becoming a much more confident person. we could feel it watching him on stage. his stage presence literally changed into something so confident. it was such a beautiful thing to see. then onstage he did something i never thought he would do which is say he doesn't care who doesn't like him screaming "SO WHAT" loudly. It was something that really moved me lol. just see him making it clear that he doesn't care "so what" ;).

after this wave of confidence on stage and off stage jeongguk came with these lives. I've seen from the beginning people criticizing him for that. saying "he's feeding the delusional fans". as if he needed to do something to feed the people. these people will already act like this without or with these lives. he has no control over how someone will react to something he does. I don't think it's his fault that these people don't know how to separate things. everyone has their own opinion, but mine is that it's out of his control. these people live in a world they create. anything he or the other members does is going to be interpreted super wrong by them.

but back to talking about THE lives. since the beginning of them I feel that jeongguk wanted to show the real him to us, with these lives he wanted to show us that he is a human being like us. I really feel like he wants to take away that "perfect idol" image for a "person like all of us". i feel him wanting to break more free from the idol on the pedestal to a more two way communication between friends, equals. that's why I think he always mentions that we are friends, best friends. because I really feel like he wants us to see him as a normal person who has a work that's a little different than most people but in the end, he's just a 25 year old guy. and I find it really refreshing to see him showing it to us. this could be something that shouldn't even come to that point but many people put idols on a pedestal. and that idols have to be perfect and we know it's not like that. they just have a different work than most people but in the end they are human beings like us. who will make mistakes and that people will not always agree. he wants us to respect that he is a real person and an individual with his own wants and needs. i really believe jeongguk is being so real in these lives. a lot of things can be interpreted as fanservice but honestly I think it's something so natural to him that he doesn't realize it. I think you can tell that jeongguk is something that "flirts" naturally, especially it seems like he gets even more when he drinks a little lmao. I really see it as his thing. you can see that nothing feels forced. it's him just being himself in these lives. it's just him being real. in these lives besides showing him being himself, a 25 year old guy, he is really putting boundaries on his relationship with armys. and I LOVE IT! he's making it very clear and in a very gentle way that it's his life. he's also making it very clear that he's going to do things that maybe some armys won't agree with and he's aware of that but he's going to keep doing what he wants. he's also making it pretty clear to anyone who hasn't figured it out yet that he's A 25 YEAR OLD PERSON. AN ADULT AND WHO WANTS TO BE TREATED LIKE AN ADULT. I really see jeongguk wanting to create a very healthy relationship between him and his fans. obviously there will be people who won't see it that way but it's not his fault.

we don't know what he plans for his album but decolcomania was something he wrote at that time when he's feeling like a totally different person. I really think it's not a song that relates to today's jeongguk anymore.

i've been here with jeongguk since 2013. watching him grow into this wonderful person. this year with jeongguk has been very emotional for me and this live today was another thing that made me really emotional. seeing someone who didn't have self esteem, didn't have much confidence and didn't believe in himself (from the things he's said in the past) grow up like this is something soo beautiful. see how confident he is, how much he is believing in himself, trusting himself. seeing him saying "armys I understand that not always everything I do you will love but please believe me" and not "armys I'm sorry" is something really beautiful. it's like see a flower starting to bloom, its great.

I really wanted him to talk about the explicit version but I wanted it to be something he decided to talk about and not because someone called the song "dirty". what the hell??? but i was glad he talked about it and made it clear that HE decided he wanted to sing this version and that he is an ADULT and that he sees nothing wrong with singing this type of song. you may not like or feel uncomfortable listening to these songs but you cross the line when you say he can't sing that kind of song. you can't decide that.

one of the things I love the most to experience with my friends, family, people I love and care about is watch that person start to be the them they always wanted to be without caring what others say. it's really beautiful to see someone becoming a confident person. it seems that this person really gets a different light. I don't know how to explain it but the person really transforms into a beautiful version of themselves. it really is so beautiful. so I really am so happy to have the opportunity to see his growth. I love him so much! I'm so proud of him! he is someone so important to me. every member has such a positive influence on my life. I hope that with all that confidence from jeongguk he also influences some people to be more confident, to be more of themselves without caring about what others will say.

Jk's DAZED Interview

"Jung Kook holds the instinctual and the intangible in high regard: the former is what guides his present, but his future is cradled by the latter, at least in terms of how he sees himself as an artist. But more on that later, because Jung Kook – who recently turned 26 and has been very, very famous for a decade – is thinking about who he is at this very moment. “I think I’m the type of person who is honest with their emotions,” he says. “I change quickly. I have to do the things I want to do right now.”

He was quiet then, too, though he emanated a fidgety restlessness, mentally and physically. He still has an inner itch that he can’t quite seem to scratch but it’s tempered by a new boldness and self-assuredness that he feels was missing before, traits he’s long embodied on stage yet didn’t follow him into everyday life. “When I go on stage, my wandering thoughts and feelings die down,” he says, and he’s always performed so much that the gap between his worlds didn’t seem all that vast.

“Ever since I changed my perspective, I’ve found more positive traits within myself. Rather than dwelling on missed opportunities and blaming myself for being lazy, thinking, ‘Why couldn’t I do it when I was capable?’, I accept who I truly am and focus on what I can do. There’s more to gain from doing things at my own pace. And if I want to stay in bed or watch TV all day, why not spend a day like that?”

Jung Kook debuted aged 15, and although pop culture is generally unkind to its child stars, he grew up under the watchful eyes of his bandmates who pulled him into line when needed. He is attentive, unfailingly polite, curious and wields a mischievous humour.

When recording “Seven” with writers/producers Andrew Watt and Cirkut, he was eager to do well with a genre he’d never tried before, visibly nervous at the mic and, just as evidently, chuffed when they showered him with praise.

“I want to do as many genres as possible to test myself on what kind of music I can do with my voice,” he says. The success of his debut solo single, he adds, has no bearing on what his upcoming music sounds like. “When I hear the music and it’s good, I just proceed with it regardless of the genre. It feels really good to hear people say, ‘Oh, he can pull off any genre,’ so it’d be really fun to surprise people.”

“I live thinking ‘The main character of my life is no one but me.’ No matter what environment I’m placed in, no matter who’s around me, to safeguard myself without being swept away, having the mindset that I can hold control of myself. I live trying not to forget it.”

Jung Kook, the youngest member of BTS, knows his original bunny-ish, baby-of-the-group image still prevails. “You really like that about me,” he said to fans while in London, during one of his now-frequent livestreams. “Pretend that people like that. And I only follow that. What is something that I can change? Myself, it’s my life. I need to change. I need to tell people who love me, ‘I am like this.’ I’m not forcing anyone. I always look for something new. I want to make that new thing fun. And I want to be accepted by Army at the same time.” He also addressed those questioning why he felt the need for an explicit version of “Seven”, in which the line “And that’s why night after night, I’ll be lovin’ you right” becomes “And that’s why night after night, I’ll be fuckin’ you right”. “If you felt [it] like that,” he said, “there’s nothing I can do... And if you think about it, how old am I?”

In recent years he has taken up boxing, pierced his eyebrow and lip, and added more hardware to his ears. He’s grown out his hair, and got heavily inked. “I like extreme things,” he says with a laugh. “People always tell me I look round and soft. I want this sharp, powerful image.” His debut single, Jung Kook says, “wasn’t [me] trying to break away from my image”. In his eyes, the evolution has already occurred, making “Seven” a direct reflection of who he is now. And so he was steadfast and frank during that pivotal livestream. “It was important for me to show how much I’ve grown as a solo artist through taking on new challenges,” Jung Kook explains, “rather than staying in my comfort zone or settling for the things that I was used to. I wanted to fully explain that to my fans.”

In Jung Kook’s mind, then and now, ‘more’ translates as “becoming a better and cooler singer”, he says intently. “To me, I’m not that singer I imagined myself [to be], that specific image that I had of a singer, that’s why I’m aiming higher.”

The Jung Kook of 2023 is OK with the not quite knowing-ness of that. He tries to live in the present and keep things simple, even if that’s easier said than done. “It’s impossible to not think at all,” he sighs. “You know when you think of something and it just goes on and on, down this deep rabbit hole? That can lead to positive conclusions but, for me, sometimes it led to negative ones. But now that I’ve gained some self-confidence, I’m more able to exclude those unnecessary thoughts.” In teaching himself how to quieten down his brain, he finds himself “worrying [less] about things that haven’t happened yet or thinking, ‘What if I don’t meet my own expectations?’”

But, with the power of hindsight, Jung Kook, who is working on more music with an eye towards a debut solo album, knows how far he’s come. “I trusted my gut [with my debut single] and thought, ‘Will I be able to reach the audience, and a lot of them?’ And I sort of proved that I could.” And rather than being that ambiguous grey hexagon, Jung Kook – who smiles, the widest smile his face is capable of – says, “I’d be white, and I can colour it in whatever colour I like.”"

My impressions

This interview is a confirmation to the discourse we've been having lately.

Jk lives his life in phases. He changes quickly according to his vibes on the situation and let's himself be guided by things that he cannot see.

At this point, he is revealing what he had kept from fans. Things that he already did but weren't public. I suspect it's because of where he is in life at the moment (BTS hiatus, solo career, about to enlist, just turned 26).

Perhaps, his vibes told him it's time.

Jk's words seem contradictory but a person isn't just one truth. We all have many.

And for years, Jk has been squished into a box with labels and cute nicknames. We've only seen one side of him constantly because that's what we were shown.

In the interview, they describe him as introverted but then he comes out without a shirt for the photoshoot. He wants to be extreme but he also has that one pose in the photos that scream "zero hetero here". We read about him wanting to be sharp while he just did a cute jump at the airport. I guess Jk hasn't realized that he can be all those things at the same time. I think he will realize it with time.

What stands out to me is that he wants to break free from these labels and image that the fans have of him, but he's the one labeling himself new things. Maybe he does it to get his point across? Or maybe he think that by reiterating these new things he's shown us, we will let go of the old things? In this fandom?....hmmm.

Although Jk is very much a person who enjoys being a softie, he is also someone extreme and free who wishes to do as he pleases...because everyone should he allowed to do so. Without policing.

He says there isn't a big difference between the Jk on stage and Jk off stage, which is why he was comfortable with Seven. Not because he is the het macho guy, but because he is bolder and more confident. That song is more upbeat, sex oriented, and energetic than anything he's done in the past. So all those people thinking he just said he is straight...read carefully.

I find it amusing how this article comes out just right after everyone made such a big deal out of him smoking because he states "I am like this (at this moment)." He wants to be accepted by army being "like this" but there is no way that will happen because this is a fandom that believes they have ownership of the members and have become some sort of morality police and parent entity.

I'm sure he knows of the things that were said during the smoking pictures and Seven.

Jk was harshly critiqued for saying he wanted to be better and cooler a while back and many wondered if Seven (Scooter) had gotten to his head. But I think this article shows that he's just aiming higher...like any artist does. He still comes across as someone humble and genuine. Although, he was still genuine during those other interviews where he said he wanted to be the "one and only".

It's all about your perception of his words.

Overall, I think that Jk is still searching for his true self, as one does during that age. But based on this interview, which is probably one of the better interviews he's had, old Jk is still there...but now, we have new side of him to observe. With time, we will see if this is truly what he wants or he will move on to something else.

Im 21, 5ft3, have bluey/green eyes, im really pale with lots of freckles and I have like a deep ginger/auburn hair color with bleached front strands (they were gonna be bangs but I got nervous about full blown bangs lol).

I typically wear lots of black and alternative styled clothing, but I'm also a huge fan of big sweaters and cozy clothes. I have a lot of little tattoos and several piercings (mainly nostril and navel since I took several others out cause they irritated my skin so much 🫠)

Im a florist at the moment but I'd love to become a tattoo artist so I'm kind of in limbo but outside of work I do art and love painting! I'm also a big fan of nu metal/alternative style music and use most of my paychecks to go to concerts or festivals. (Piercings, tattoos, etc.) Even if they don't have that many themself, they're really knowledgeable about stuff like that and find it really fascinating

I'm combining these requests because they are fairly similar, and I'm trying to get rid of some of my Wade requests that have accumulated. Im also making this as gender neutral as possible since no piercings that require heavily specific body places were requested. I'd like to make mention that I'm a tattoo artist and piercer myself, so I'm very glad I got these requests.

Natasha Romanoff

She doesn't have that much of an opinion whether her partner has body modifications or not.

That being said, she'll ask questions on if your tattoos have meaning or not, and she'll raise an eyebrow if they don't.

When it comes to piercings, she likes to play with them when she zones out. You two will just be casually laying down, and you'll randomly feel light tugs at your facial or chest piercings if you aren't wearing a shirt.

When it comes to your tattoos, she'll trace the shapes and designs during meetings. Or whenever she doesn't have anything to do when she's bored and wants to touch you.

Admires the fact that you put yourself through pain just to gain artwork on your body.

Wanda Maximoff

She, on the other hand, was confused about why you would willingly put yourself through that.

She's not particularly a fan, but she wouldn't mind too much if you had body mods.

"Are they safe?" She'll ask anytime you wish to get a new one.

After a while, they'll grow on her, and she'll really like them. Mainly because it's a you thing, and she adores you.

Anytime one gets infected, she'll help you out with it. She'll give you a look that says, "Are you so certain these are safe now?"

Doesn't like the smell. I know you know what I'm talking about

Loves them

Will ask if you want to get a matching piercing on the ears (face ones would interfere with a mask like his)

Whenever he sees jewlery that really reminds him of you, he'll get them if he can.

He'll also play with them if he's zoned out and just whenever he's in private with you.

If you get spider tattoos, if you're in the know about him?

He's kneeling, on the spot.

He says he didn't like seeing you in pain, but it's something you wanted, so he didn't really have a say.

Doesn't really care what you do, as long as you are happy.

Wade Wilson

Shoots a hole in his ear/face and shouts..."Twinsies!" With a mock giggle

"What the fuck Wade...?" "Aye...you're dating me...and fucking me for that matter."

Would actually get piercings or such with you without a fuss.

If it wasn't for the super healing, that is.

Headcanon dump:

I have new followers so I figured I'd do a headcanon dump. Just some random facts about Eddie as I write him.

He's gonna be a tattoo artist when he grows up. He loves to draw and doodle (especially in class) so it feels like a natural progression.

I also will write him a rockstar verse where Corroded Coffin makes it.

In some verses, upon request, he is a single dad. His daughter's name is Halen. Halen Munson. His reasoning? When someone talks about them it's "Eddie and Valen" and he finds that amusing.

He will get more tattoos. I love the idea of him having a spider web tattoo on his neck.

In the rockstar verse, he def has his peepe pierced. In other verses, we'll see.

He's straight. Mostly. I've always wanted to experiment writing him liking boys but it's never happened. He's apparently very straight. Or, we haven't come across the right muse/chemistry to make him sway.

He is super respectful of women and tries his very hardest to not be scary when approaching women. A bit of mommy issues here but not in a bad way. Sidenote: don't ever speak ill of his mama.

He has a thing for cheerleaders. He can't explain it and neither can I.

He is not a virgin. Eddie, the freak, has had a surprisingly amount of action. He's got the bad boy thing going for him. However, he is every girl's "dirty little secret" because who wants the world to know they fooled around with the freak from the trailer park? He respects it and isn't one to kiss and tell anyway.

Guitar is his instrument of choice but Eddie has an ear for music and can pick up an instrument very quickly. He thinks the drums are very fun.

Eddie sings! But he's shy about it. Metal is fine because there's a lot of shouting involved but when he plays the acoustic and sings he wants to die of embarrassment. He has a good voice though. He's just a dumbass.

He's not dumb. I don't want to diagnose him (and I don't think that was common in the 1980s) but he definitely has something. Eddie just can't focus on things that don't interest him. He can be very good as physics, for example, because velocity and speed and he can see it in his head but give him algebra or calculus and he is extra fucked. His favorite subject in school is History. It's storytelling and he's a fan. His favorite time periods are Medieval and Renaiassance and shit like that.

Eddie was the kind of kid growing up that loved dinosaurs. Makes sense because dragons are like a natural progresion.

He can cook. Not saying he's a chef by any means but he has a handful of recipes down to an art. He taught himself as a kid when he got tired of eating canned soup and box mac and cheese when Uncle Wayne was working. He can't bake for shit though (and he would love to learn to bake cinnamon rolls and special brownies).

He doesn't usually do hard drugs anymore. He has to be in a dark dark place to go down that road. He had bad experiences. He also won't sell hard drugs to someone that is inexperienced.

He started smokig cigarettes at a scarily young age. I'm thinking around 12 when he started to steal them from his uncle Wayne. He used to smoke whatever but now he prefers menthols.

He feeds the strays that stroll into the trailer park. Cats, dogs, but his favorites are the raccoons that basically live in the dumpster.

He doesn't have any pets. Not because he doesn't want one but because he's scared he won't be a good pet-dad.

Speaking of dads, he has daddy issues. Daddy trauma really. The idea of being a dad terrifies him because he's scared he will turn out like his.

Eddie doesn't usually start fights. He will stand up for people but he will never start shit with someone else. That said, you say anything about his uncle and you're getting punched - even if you're bigger than him, even if he's outnumbered. He might not be the best son/nephew but he worships that man and is so damn grateful for him. He won't stand for Uncle Wayne slander.

Given the way he looks and his interests you would think his type is a rocker chick or a goth girl. You're wrong. Eddie loves femine girls or casual girls. A girl in a dress or a girl in a messy bun and a big tshirt. That sorta thing.

Eddie has always loved to read, ever since he was a kid. Because of this he's full of useless information.

He loved cryptids. He doesn't fuck with fairies though - they scare him.

He has a stuffed dragon that's missing an eye and lives under his bed. He got it from his mom when he was little and he's kept it since. It lives under his bed because Eddie logic says it's dark like a cave. It's named Draco after the constellation because when Eddie was a baby and couldn't sleep his mom would take him outside and they'd stargaze. One of the few memories he has of his mom.

Eddie logic is something that will come in threads. It's the way Eddie thinks. His brain just doesn't process things like a normal person but it makes sense to him and it's the hill he'll die on.

He's not a sports guy. Not because it doesn't fit the persona but because he's always sucked at them. Uncle Wayne would try to play catch with him as a kid and he would either miss or duck. He can run though and he likes to pretend he knows parkour. Doofus.

His favorite color is gray. Eddie logic says black is too basic. Again, doofus.

He doesn't have a favorite food but he's a sucker for anything homecooked. Uncle Wayne worked a lot growing up so anything that feels homecooked feels special to him.

Big cuddler. If you sleep with him, and it's more than just sex, expect aftercare.

He's not opposed to doing "girly" things. If you're a girl and his friend, besties level, he will totally be down for sleepovers that include face masks and manicures and all that. No fragile masculinity here. Just don't tell anyone.

Should be obvious but he loves horror movies. He's not big on gore though. He'll watch them but he's more into spooky shit like monsters, ghosts, demon possession and stuff like that. He does enjoy Children of the Corn, he finds creepy children amusing and terrifying.

He can fix pretty much anything. Both his dad and Uncle Wayne are handy with tools and Eddie learned from watching. He fixes his own van and basically built it from the ground up.

Lance is drawing a complicated flower on the base of Keith’s wrist and it makes his lips pull up into a smile despite the panic. They’re always flowers when it comes to Lance. He uses them in everything he does, and usually doesn’t even know he’s doing it. Keith can count on one hand how many times the doodles on his arms haven’t been of flowers.

i love this one because keith & lance are just blatantly and clearly autistic. it’s wonderful. it’s sweet and fluffy and it’s a modern au, which as y’all know is my jam, and the last few paragraphs do this specific thing with sentiment repetition that genuinely gets to me every time

2. Be Alive With Me Tonight by @caesaria [EXPLICIT] [ABO]

When the Blade of Marmora requests assistance on an information gathering mission, Lance and Keith go undercover as a bonded alpha and omega pair. At first, it seems like this is going to be more like a vacation than a mission – right up until everything falls apart and they realize how unprepared they really are. Now, Lance and Keith have to fight to not only survive, but to make it out together. They’ll have to rely not only on their skills as Paladin, but the bond they’ve created and nurtured between them.

okay i gave this one the explicit warning bc there are chapters that are explicit, but tbh the scenes are skippable if that’s not ur thing. now this fic is an EPIC. truly. its a quarter million words and the plot is breathtaking, the worldbuilding is iconic and the romance is like HOLY SHIT. this is a novel, and better yet its a KLANCE novel, so. highly recommend if you have a day or two to read.

A crackling silence answers him, and Keith’s stomach sinks. Did Lance hang up? Keith can’t exactly blame him.

But then he hears Lance make a noise––a short huff of breath that might have been either an impatient sigh or a quiet laugh … Keith has no clue.

“That’s the reason you’re calling? To complain about my time slot?”

or, Keith starts anonymously calling Lance's college radio show and develops an unexpected crush.

@catnippackets did a comic of this i believe, and it literally never leaves my head. yall know the trope where one person gets a phone call and halfway through they sigh wistfully and say “god i wish you were here” and then the other person smiles so viscerally it can be felt through the phone and they say “look behind you” and theyre THERE?????? that makes me lose it every time. i love this fic

“I think we should cancel the gig, I don’t remember how to play,” Taako whines from his place melted on the floor in front of the fan. His shirt, which was already too short, and also says crab rangoon slut in sparkly fuschia Curlz MT font, flops up, giving Kravitz an eyeful he’s burning trying not to react to. Every time the fan rotates, it blows a little further. 

“It’ll be fine, and we’ll get paid,” Kravitz says, instead of I notice you changed your nipple piercing jewlery and I’d like to see what it tastes like, if you don’t mind. 

“But at what cost,” Taako gripes. 

“The price,” Magnus provides cheerfully, bursting into their private moment like the motherfucking koolaid man. 

“The price of admission,” Merle adds, like that’s anything. He is, as always, right behind Magnus, and also wearing a stupid tshirt (“SUCCULENT BOD”, handlettered and decorated with dozens of little plants). Kravitz wonders, not for the first time, how he let himself hitch his wagon to this fucking circus train. 

“Anyway,” Kravitz says. “We ought to practice, so we don’t flop out there and stink like dead fish.” 

“I’m gonna stink regardless if I don’t stop sweating,” Taako moans. “I cna’t do it. I’m not a solid anymore.” 

“Liquids can play the keyboard, probably,” Kravitz valiantly charges on. With Taako, you have to humor him to a certain degree, or he won’t even give you the time of day. But also you can only take some of his bullshit, and if you take too much of it, he loses any and all respect for you. It’s a delicate balance. Fucking circus train. Kravitz feels like he’s wearing the sparkly leotard in front of the tigers and everything. Shame he’s so into Taako, or he’d just go do something easier. Also he loves the band, but shut up. 

“Nobody wants wet keys, my man.” Magnus shakes his head. 

“Tell that to Florida,” Merle muses. 

Everyone else boos. 

“Why don’t you try, just a little, and then we can go get ice cream before the gig?” Kravitz asks. “Because if you can’t. I’m going to quit, and become a solo artist and be able to stop taking my blood pressure medication, because of all the stress you fools put me through.” 

“Said like he thinks he’s not also a fool,” Merle stage whispers to Magnus, who nods solemnly. 

“I want bubblegum ice cream,” Magnus says though. “So get off your ass, Taako.”

“If I die about this, you’ll all be sorry,” Taako moans, but he does peel himself off the floor and mope over to the keyboard. Kravitz takes up his bass guitar, and Merle sits at the drums, and Magnus connects his amp. “Fucking, ugh, an’ a one, an’ a two,”

“And a skiddly, idly, oo,” Merle jokes, but they start–

And it’s horrible. Taako bangs rudely on the keys, which immediately fucks everyone up, and Kravitz tries to save it but is torn between laughing and ringing his boyfriend’s neck, and it spirals from there. 

“Like this?” Taako asks, over the bullshit garbage heap of a tune they’re butchering, playing his keyboard horribly, comically wrong. He’d probably have an easier time trying to use his butt cheeks. 

“No,” Kravitz barely manages with a straight face. “I’m afraid that’s not what we’re looking for, and you’re fired, goodnight.”

“THANK GOD,” Taako says. “I’m going home. Music is dead to me.”

“Iiiiice cream,” Merle tempts. 

Taako pouts. 

“With sprinkles?” Magnus adds. 

“And maybe a cold shower?” Kravitz smiles at him, letting the implication float through the air on radio waves, and not having to say, out loud, between the other two chucklefucks, that he would in fact like to join Taako in that shower. 

Taako pouts harder. 

“Fine,” he says. “But if any of you make me stick around to sign shit in fucking ninety-eight degrees, I’m ritually sacrificing a fan and we’re going to be on true crime podcasts for decades.” 

“Goddamn,” Kravitz says. “Anything but that.”

1. How many tattoos do you have?

Uh. Somewhere around 35-ish? There's been a lot of, like, building out on existing ones and making them cohesive, so it's really hard to say. 40-50 sessions in the chair, for sure.

2. What is your favourite tattoo you've gotten?

Stop asking pansexual ADHDers to pick favourites. Actually, speaking of, that joke on Dropout's Breaking News a few weeks ago about how Dropout fans are "pansexual nerds with drama mask tattoos and anxiety disorders" called me the fuck out, four for four baby, so maybe right now it's my drama masks with a Shakespeare quote 😅

3. What is the most meaningful tattoo you've gotten?

Any of the multiple memorial tattoos for deceased family members, or the matching tattoo I got with my spouse after our wedding

4. What is your dream tattoo?

I'm hoping to get something cool on my chest post-top surgery, but that's a long-ass way away yet.

5. What was the most painful tattoo?

I fully used numbing cream when I got my inner thigh tattooed, but I missed a spot. Ask me how I realised.

Also my knuckles, jfc. Fully cussed my tattoo guy out for that one, it was his idea to extend the design down to cover a couple of knuckles in the first place lmfao.

6. What was your first ever tattoo and how old were you when you got it?

My uncle's initials after he died when I was 17. I had this deal with my mum that I could get all the facial piercings I wanted, dye my hair all the batshit colours I wanted, as long as I didn't get a tattoo until I turned 18. And I'm grateful for that, because I wanted some tacky-ass shit at 15-16. But we negotiated for the one at 17, which there was little to no chance of me regretting.

7. What is your most recent tattoo?

An envelope with a piece of paper coming out of it that says "wish you were queer xo" for a flash day fundraiser for RainbowYOUTH.

8. What does your family think about your tattoos?

My mum is fucking petrified of needles, so her objection isn't to the permanent ink on my skin so much as willingly subjecting myself to being stabbed lmao. I hid them from my paternal grandparents until my wedding day and then said 'fuck it they can't yell at me today!' and they have never, ever mentioned them since. My maternal grandmother hated my first few, offered to pay to get them laser removed when I was at about 4 or 5, then begrudgingly acknowledged that some of them weren't terrible, and when she went into hospice in 2017 she gave me a list of the sorts of things she wanted included in her memorial tattoo 🤣

9. What meaning do your tattoos have?

Everything from very personal connections/memories/experiences in the memorial tattoos down to "I rolled three dice and got three words and the artist designed something based on that and slapped it on my body", and everything in between.

10. How many tattoos do you want?

As many as I have good ideas.

11. Where is the most painful place you've been tattooed?

Is this a different question to #5?

I will say - back of calf tattoos are surprisingly difficult. Not the MOST painful place, but probably the longest I've been really genuinely uncomfortable? (Though, again, sans numbing cream on my inner thigh this would be a VERY different convo)

12. Where is a place on your body that you will NEVER get tattooed?

I dunno... butthole? Eyeball?

I'm unlikely to do a face tattoo, but who knows, really.

13. What is a design you love on others but would never get for yourself?

I can't think of a specific design!

New School, for sure. Though I have a bit of nearly everything 🤣

That having ever gotten a tattoo in the past means you have a ton of disposable income now (the amount of "omg they're on a benefit but they have tattoos" I've heard from dipshits how the fuck do you think tattoos work?????), that it's not a valid and fucking impressive form of artwork.

17. Do you have one tattoo artist who does all of your art or a stand out tattoo artist? Hype them up!

These days I do! Only since I moved back to my current city in 2017, though, so a lot of my older stuff is by other artists. His name's Steve, he's a fucking delight, every day I'm in his chair is a fucking party. When my grandad died I just booked him out for the day and chatted to him about my grandad for the morning until inspo struck him and then he turned his iPad around with the loveliest design on it.

18. Is there any artist you would love to get work done by? Tell us about them!

There are lots of incredible artists out there, but I don't think I have, like, one bucket list person.

19. What is your worst tattoo experience?

I had an apprentice go too deep on my pansexual tattoo and I still have a bit of raised scar tissue there lmao

20. What has been your best tattoo experience?

Getting my grandmother's memorial tattoo designed and tattooed. Per #8 I went in with a bit of a chaotic list and what the artist put together was just fucking stunning. It's my whole upper arm and every single element of it has really personal meaning.

21. Do you have any matching tattoos with people?

Yep! My spouse and I got matching Doctor Who tattoos after our wedding. I'm a DW fan of old, got my spouse into the show after we got together, and we had a reference in our ceremony but without discussing it, we'd both put references in our individual vows as well lmao.

I also have a few like... standard tattoos, for lack of a better word? As well as a few flash sheet designs. So I definitely have matching tattoos with strangers 🤣

22. What is your opinion on face tattoos?

Follow your bliss, babes, but you know the society we live in and you're accepting the potential bullshit. (I have hand tattoos!! I'm not saying it's RIGHT I'm saying it IS.)

I can't even express how much I love TPR. They've been my favourite band for so long and I just love all of their music so much. I drink both! I really like hot tea, almost any blend (although I'm not a fan of particularly Earl Grey tea, it tastes gross) and sometimes sweet tea. As for coffee I like it pretty sweet, a med to light roast with some sugar and creamer! My mom only makes dark roast though :((

Stomach and side! Sometimes on the couch I make an exception for my back, but otherwise I physically cannot fall asleep laying on my back

Absolutely!! And if I can't get one to sleep with I'll usually bunch up a bit of my blanket and pretend it's one.

Do you prefer drawing or writing?

Usually I prefer writing, I'm a very word oriented person if that makes sense? Which is why even when watching TV shows in English I still use the captions because it makes things more comprehensive in my mind. But sometimes I like to draw! Especially if it's something that I don't know how to put into words that make sense, y'know?

What's your ideal number of blankets to sleep with?

Depends on how big each blanket is but usually 2!! Although I absolutely CANNOT tolerate a comforter/the big blanket that most people use over their sheets. I use throw blankets almost always.

I'd say right now it's Jack Starbur! Although earlier this year it was Destroy Boys, and I almost convinced my brother to take me to the concert with them, Mother Mother, and Cavetown because I love all of them but alas we had no money 😭

I think the most obvious answer is Edie (who I've been friends with for a little over a year now) but it's actually my bed. his name is Bertha and we've been friends for 6ish years!

Who/what do you miss?

I miss my old home! I used to live in California a long time ago and I just really miss the air around their, the general sense of existence there as well. Our apartment was in Joshua Tree so there wasn't a lot of people around very often! It was nice out there.

How was your day today?

Pretty good I think! I got Dr. Pepper spilled on my pants at lunch but that was actually pretty funny! I also went and spent time at my friend's house! I always love going there even if I'm scared to ask to go 😭 but it's genuinely one of my favorite places to exist in besides my bed.

How much sleep did you get last night?

I took my melatonin and fell asleep around 11, so about 6 hours if you subtract the time I was awake at 3 with an ATROCIOUS cramp in my calf 😔. Shit hurt man, had me crying and everything 😭 it still kinda hurt today but it wasn't anything I couldn't ignore lmao (yes this was answered with the purpose of going on a rant about the cramp last night even though ive had them before more times than i can count)

WARRIOR CATS. and people I love coming to support me at things!! It's not really a childish thing but for me it's something I wanted so badly as a kid and eventually grew out of the need for people I care about to come to things like performances that are important to me (but I still wanted it to happen). But one of my friends has been coming sometimes when I ask them too and it's the best!!!

CLAWS BY MIKE GRINTI. I LOVE THAT BOOK SO MUCH. I had a copy a few years ago that I read about 7 times but I lost it on a school trip somewhere a few years back.

How are you, really?

At this very moment I am chillin 😎 I just got home recently and my stepdad bribed me to run errands for him with a pretzel. I got 2 of my books back from someone who's had them for a year and I was reading it earlier, it's a good book and I was gonna go back to reading it later tonight as well. It's Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer. My mom hasn't woken up for work yet and my stepdad is on his computer, my brother's at work, so it's pretty quiet in the house and nice and calm.

Does it take you a long time to make decisions?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It really just depends! But lately it's been a lot easier for me to just make a decision on a whim and go with it so decisions come a bit faster for me now

What are you looking forward to in the near future?

The eclipse! Don't tell my friend or my mom yet but I'm planning on asking if I can stay the night with my friend on Sunday and we can watch the eclipse together on Monday.

I'm also looking forward to getting a job, I've applied to a bunch of places and no one has really gotten back to me but I'm still trying!!

What are you looking forward to in the distant future?

Hmmm, I'd say college. But not starting college in general. I plan to get my bachelor's in psychology here nearby the town I live in but after that I plan on going to New York!! There's a college up there that I really wanna go to and I'm super excited to go there! Although I probably won't apply for another 10ish years, college is expensive and I need to save up

If you could go anywhere right now, where would you go?

Either to one of my friend's house or wherever in my dream last night that I got the hoodie I had in said dream

Open! I was never allowed to close it when I was younger and the habit stuck with me. That and I'm still not really allowed to close it very much ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ

Sometimes! I'm not allowed to have my phone at night anymore on school nights so it's really boring but sometimes I do stuff to keep me entertained like read or go for a walk. I try to go to sleep tho (which is why I take melatonin) because it makes waking up in the mornings just a little easier

I've only been to the beach once when I was a little kid but it was still pretty mediocre. Maybe it'd be more fun now but I'm still not really gonna go out of my way to go to one, especially not by myself. If I do ever go to one again it'd be to have fun with whoever I'm with!

“Unnie, didn’t your mom call yesterday?” Chaeyoung asked, adding some tofu to the red soup. “Yeah, she did. My mother actually wanted to say hi to Bryce if he was nearby, but I lied to her and said that he was studying with his classmates…” You mumbled, feeling guilt in your heart as Chaeyoung patted your shoulder.

“You know Unnie, you should break up with Bryce. He’s always broke and never cares about you. I don’t want you to be with a horrible lowlife loser like him!” Chaeyoung said as she filled the two bowls with the Kimchi Jjigae we made.

She’s right… but you can’t break up with him… You didn’t want to be left alone and lonely again… You felt so fragile and weak on your own…

“If I break up with Bryce, then I’ll be alone and so lonely… Chaeng, I’m not as strong and outgoing as you are…” You confessed sheepishly as she sighed. “You’ll never be alone, Unnie… You have me,” she said comforting you. “Besides, there are other guys that are sweeter than him, you know,” Chaeyoung added as you chuckled, the two of you ate dinner.

“Jungkook’s going to have a lip and eyebrow piercing done once he has saved enough money,” Chaeyoung giggled as you smiled, “wow, isn’t getting one piercing painful enough?” You asked as she shrugged, “well, after getting tattoos you kinda get numb to the pain I suppose,” she explained as you continued watching ‘NeverTheLess’. “Park Jaeon’s so cute, it’s just too bad he’s a player,” you sighed as she chuckled. “You seem to like bad boys, Y/N-Unnie~” Chaeyoung giggled.

“No, I don’t.” You denied it, knowing there was some truth to her statement. “Ah, my aunt and niece will visit Seoul soon,” you added as she smiled. “Oh that’s nice, Ayaka must be a big girl by now,” Chaeyoung folded her arms and looked at you with a smile.

“I might have to babysit her one of these days,” you said. “That’s fine, we can go on a boba tea date,” Chaeyoung said, sketching some pokémons.

“Long time no see,” Ten said, greeting his tall friend, “how was Hong Kong, Yukhei?” Mark asked, doing the handshake. “It was nice, I really missed my mom’s food, how has it been here?” Yukhei responded.

“It’s been alright, quite busy these days with butterfly tattoos,” Johnny said, looking over at Yuta drawing one from the book.

“I’m actually here to get a tattoo myself, a lion one,” Yukhei chuckled, lifting his shirt, “right here, please,” Yuta and Ten nodded, “got a sketch or a picture for reference?” He nodded, showing a picture of a lion. “Alright, let’s get started then, follow me, Yukhei,” Ten said, walking over to his room.

A few hours had passed…

“Hello, ah aunt Asami, how are you?” You facetimed with her as she smiled and waved. “I’m fine, we just arrived at the hotel in Seoul. How are you sweet Y/N?” Asami asked. “I’m doing just okay, it’s good to see you had a safe trip. Where’s Ayaka-chan?” You looked at her. “She’s sleeping, hehe,” Asami replied as you nodded, “It must be exhausting to travel, huh?” You added while chuckling a little. “I’ll see you tomorrow at 3:00 PM, would that be okay with you?” She asked as you checked your calendar, “sure that’ll be perfect, I get off around 3:00 PM,” you smiled and waved, “goodnight, aunt Asami.” You looked at the time and it showed 9:45 PM, someone knocked on the door as you went to check it.

“Ah good evening, Y/N-Noona,” Jungkook smiled and bowed as you did the same, “hey Jungkook, how are you?” You said, opening the door to let him in. “Thanks, Noona, he took his shoes off as he was holding a bouquet. “Chaeng’s showering, did you guys have plans tonight?” You folded your arms, smiling and leaning against the wall.

How sweet, Jungkook got Chaeng’s favorite flowers…

“No, I just wanted to see her,” Jungkook smiled, his dimples appearing. “I thought that you were in Busan.”

You said as he sat on the couch, “I was, but I heard that Chae was stressed with her upcoming art project so I thought I’d go and see her.” He held the bouquet with white roses. “Would you like something to drink?” You walked over to the refrigerator as he nodded, “thanks Y/N-Noona,” he took a sip. “How’s Bryce?” You had your hands between your legs as you let out a sigh.

“Ah Babe, you’re here,” Chaeyoung said, walking out with a towel on her shoulders. She was wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts. Jungkook got up and kissed her, “what are these for?” She looked at the bouquet and blushed, “they’re for you, I thought you’d love them,” he chuckled as she giggled. “You’re so sweet, you came all the way just to see how I was doing.” She voiced as he nodded, “anything for my Chaeng,” he kissed her.

“Aww you two lovebirds are so cute,” you teased as Chaeyoung giggled, “are you staying here tonight, Babe?” she asked, fluttering her eyes. “I’d love to, but I have an early shift with my partner tomorrow, so I gotta go but I’ll see you tomorrow, Chaeng-girl,” Jungkook said before kissing her goodbye. “Have a good night, see you Y/N,” he waved and left.

“Right, we should probably also head to bed,” you yawned, turning off the TV as Chaeyoung stretched her arms, “mmh-mmh, you’re right, goodnight Unnie,” she said, waddling to her room. You walked over to the bathroom to do your skincare routine and brush your teeth.

The next morning you woke up and walked over to the kitchen when you noticed a piece of paper written next to the plate. It was Thursday the 9th of September 2021.

“How sweet of Chaeng to wake up early and make Belgian waffles for me…” You mumbled with a smile as you began to eat it, you also ate some strawberries and slices of kiwi.

“Irene-Unnie, do we have any Japanese releases of my favorite manga?” You asked, stacking a pile of returned books in the cart. “Hmm, I’ve ordered a few, they’ll arrive today,” she said, checking the computer as you smiled.

That’s great, Ayaka’s going to be so happy. And you also get to practice your Japanese.

“Any particular ones in mind? I’ll reserve them for you if you’d like that Ms. Miyoshi,” Irene said with a smile as you nodded, “well, if you happen to find volumes 1 and 2 of Tokyo Mew Mew, I’d really appreciate it, my niece Ayaka really loves that series.” You started returning the books to their original place on the shelves. “Sure, I’ll make sure to look out for them.” She said, cleaning the tables.

After a few hours had passed, you went to the nearby 7-11 to grab lunch. You walked around the aisle for a bit, searching for chicken katsu onigiris. You smiled and placed them in your basket, you also got a cup with ice cubes, kimchi rice bulgogi beef onigiris, and a pouch of lychee juice. Lastly, you placed three fruit sandos and you were ready to pay.

You walked back to the library inside the staff’s room as you began to eat your lunch. “Enjoy, your food, Miyoshi,” Irene said, giggling as you bowed, “thank you, Irene-Unnie,” you checked your phone as a facetime call with aunt Asami popped on your screen.

“Ah hello, you two!” You waved as Ayaka giggled happily, “Y/N-Onee-chan! How are you?” She asked, “All good, just eating my lunch, how are you two?” you asked, waving your onigiri as she smiled. “We’re fine, just shopping in the Lotte Department Store. The weather seems to be a lot better here in Korea after all,” Asami said as Ayaka leaned in, “Isn’t Chaeyoung-Onee-san with you?” You shook your head, “she’s in school right now and I’m at work, sweetie,” you rested your head in your hand, “but you’ll see her later when we go to drink some boba tea, he he~” you smiled happily.

“Yay! I’d love to, I can’t wait to see you later, Y/N-Nee!” Ayaka giggled as you ate your bulgogi onigiri and waved goodbye.

Man, I was starving. I guess I’m nearing my period…

You walked around, collecting books. Afterward, you began scheduling events and author signings. “Ah, there’s going to be a tea ceremony next week?” You asked Irene as she nodded, “yes, I’ve heard there’ll be a lot of people,” she smiled, “would you like to join? I’ve heard there is going to be Japanese matcha tea too.”

You smiled and nodded, “I’d love to, Irene-Unnie.”

A few hours had passed as you were finally off, “I’m off, see you,” you waved as she bowed. Suddenly stood Mr. Nakamoto in front of you, “hello Ms. Miyoshi, are you off?” You nodded, “yes. Are you here to borrow another book?”

He rubbed the back of his head, “Actually, I came to see you,” he looked into your eyes. “Me? You came here to see me?” Nakamoto nodded and stepped forward, “do you have any plans right now?” You nodded, “I’ve got to go and see my niece, Ayaka,” you mumbled, rubbing your arm.

“Y/N-Onee-chan!” Ayaka ran and hugged you, “hello Ayaka-chan,” you giggled. “Who’s this guy?” She looked over at Nakamoto as you held her. “Is he your boyfriend?” Ayaka chuckled as he smirked. “Ayaka… He’s not my boyfriend, this is Nakamoto-san,” you said feeling super flustered.

“こんにちは、アヤカさん.” (Hello, Ayaka-san.)

“ええ? 中本さん日本語ははなせますか?” (Ehh? Nakamoto-san can speak Japanese?”)

“もちろん!” (Of course!)

Ayaka giggled happily, she was super happy to meet another Japanese person like her. “Are you ready to go Ayaka-chan?” You asked as she nodded, “where’s aunt Asami?” you looked around, “she’s waiting outside.”

“Shall we get going then?” You asked, placing Ayaka down as she bowed before talking to Nakamoto, “またね!” (See you!)

She ran outside to her mother as you bowed to Mr. Nakamoto, “see you around, Nakamoto-san,” you waved and walked past him.

“Hello aunt Asami,” you bowed to Asami as she smiled and hugged you. “You’ve really grown into such a beautiful lady since I last saw you, Y/N-chan,” you blushed at her compliment, “ありがとう.” (Thank you.)

“Right, it’s going to be so much fun at that party, Somi,” Chaeyoung said, locking her arm with her, “so is Y/N also coming along, Unnie?” Somi asked as she nodded, “hopefully some cute guys will ask her out, I just want her to break up with that asshole Bryce already.” Chaeyoung voiced, walking to her locker as she grabbed her books. “Wow Unnie, you seem to hate him, is he that much of a bad guy?” Somi folded her arms, looking at her as she chuckled.

“Yup, he’s a cheap, lying, and ugly fuckboy,” Chaeyoung said, annoyed as she walked out. “Ahaha, maybe introduce her to one of your guy friends?” Somi suggested, following her as they walked out of campus. “I would but I think they’re too extroverted for her,” Chaeyoung pouted her lips as she walked down the street, “well, I’ll see you tomorrow, Chae. I’ll have my notes ready so we can speak to Ms. Min-young,” Somi waved as she waited at the bus stop, “bye Somi, see you tomorrow.” She said, heading to the subway station.

Asami, Ayaka, and you went home and you made some tea, “how was Jeju Island and uncle?” you took a sip of your tea as Ayaka was playing with her teddy bear. “Your uncle, Seung-heon is doing alright, he seemed to have grown fond of living on Jeju Island. He’s busy planting his vegetables,” Asami laughed and looked around, “it’s a lovely apartment you and Chaeyoung have gotten.”

The door opened as Chaeyoung entered, her tote bag on the shoulder as Ayaka ran and hugged her tightly, “Chaeyoung-Onee-chan!” She chucked and held her, “こんにちは、アヤちゃん.” (Hello, Aya-chan.)

“It’s been a while since I last saw you, Chaeyoung you have also grown so much!” Asami said and smiled, “thank you, aunt Asami you look great.” Chaeyoung smiled and looked over at Ayaka as she drew, “Aya-chan sure has grown a lot bigger.”

“Here you go,” Asami handed a fancy basket with soy sauce rice crackers and a packet of strawberry Pocky. “For me? Oh, aunt Asami, you didn’t have to,” Chaeyoung said, smiling happily. “Please, I know how much you love those rice crackers and Pocky,” she laughed as she walked over to me. “And here, of course, I couldn’t forget about Y/N-chan,” You looked and bowed, “thanks, aunty. Oh my goodness, you got me Royal milk tea and those Meiji chocolate almonds that I adore, thank you so much!”

“Let’s go out and get some Boba tea!” You said, patting Ayaka’s shoulder as she nodded in excitement, “yay!” You walked inside Gong Cha and ordered for everyone. “Say, what grade are you in right now, Aya-chan?” Chaeyoung asked, smiling at her. “I’m in 3rd grade, Chaeyoung-Onee-chan!” Ayaka giggled and smiled cutely. “You sure have grown into a pretty girl, eh hehe~” she laughed as you walked over with the drinks.

“Alright, here you go Ayaka, Chocolate Cookie and Cream Smoothie with strawberry bubbles. Matcha Tea Latte with Azuki beans for aunty, and Strawberry Cookie Smoothie with tapioca pearls for Chaeng.” You said, handing their respective drinks as they all smiled. “Thanks, Y/N,” Asami said, smiling, “yeah, thank you Y/N-Onee-chan!” Chaeyoung and Ayaka said in sync as we laughed.

“So what do you three want to eat for dinner?” Asami asked, looking at us. “Ehh, aunt Asami, you don’t have to pay for us,” Chaeyoung said politely, “yeah, aunty it’s okay. Say, Ayaka-chan what would you like to eat?” The two of you looked at her.

“I want to eat Japchae!” Ayaka said, finishing her beverage rather quickly as she was full of energy. “Okay, that’s a deal,” Asami nodded and got up, with the drink in her hand. “We’ll go back to the hotel and change into something more casual, then I’ll find the restaurant and make a reservation for us.” She said and winked.

“See you later, Aya-chan!” Chaeyoung waved as we headed home.

45 minutes later…

“Man, aunty’s always super generous…” You sighed, walking out of the bathroom, and drying your light brown hair with a mini towel. “Your family is always so sweet and kind,” Chaeyoung said, giggling as she rubbed her face with some lotion. “I bet your aunt’s going to be shocked to see the tattoo behind my ear,” she giggled as you used the hair dryer. “Aunt Asami has always been artistic, but I bet she’ll love seeing that tattoo of yours.” You smiled, brushing your hair.

You wore an orange sweater and a pair of loose beige pants, you tied your hair in a low ponytail. Chaeyoung wore some stockings and some denim shorts and a tank top, “let’s go, we shouldn’t keep aunt Asami waiting,” she giggled and put on her coat as we went downstairs, “come get in ladies,” Asami said as waving from a car she had rented.

“Woah~ it’s been a while since I had this great Japchae!” Chaeyoung exclaimed as she was eating happily, “mmm-mmm, it’s so yummy, Onee-chan!” Ayaka added as you and Asami chuckled. “Say, Chaeyoung. Did you get a tattoo?” Asami cupped her head as she nodded, “how did you know?” Chaeyoung’s eyes widened, “I noticed you tugged your hair behind your ear, it’s a cute tattoo you’ve gotten,” she giggled.

“Did it hurt to get it, Onee-chan?” Ayaka tilted her head as she chewed her food. “A bit but I’m a strong girl, eh he he~” Chaeyoung stuck her tongue out, “I’m planning on getting a few more!” She placed her sketchbook on the table as there were four sketches of tattoo ideas.

“Wow they’re so pretty, did you come with the designs yourself?” Asami asked as Chaeyoung nodded proudly. “This time Y/N’s going to tag along with me!” You smiled, “it’s going to be interesting, to say the least,” you giggled, finishing your food.

Today was the day you had to accompany your roommate to the tattoo studio, this was your first time tagging along with her. Usually, it’s Chaeng’s boyfriend that attends with her but he was busy with work in Busan. You walked inside the small and cool-looking tattoo studio and looked around. When Ten and Johnny greeted you. “Welcome, Ms. Miyoshi, to our tattoo studio.” Ten said as you smiled. “Thank you, Ten.” You bowed, “this place is really nice. It looks so clean and well-organized,” You added, looking around. “Thanks, Miyoshi. Well, the three of us actually worked hard for the design.” Ten said as Johnny walked us to the private room, “ladies first.”

“Thanks, Suh,” Chaeyoung said, walking in as she took off her black leather jacket and hung it on the coat rack. “Heyo, Osaka Prince. Long time no see~” She said, patting his shoulder when the swivel chair turned around. You were somewhat surprised to see who was sitting there. It was none other than Nakamoto Yuta, himself. “Hello, Miyoshi-san.”

“Hi… Nakamoto-san…” You said, flusteredly, and rubbed your arm. “What… Do you two know each other?” Chaeyoung asked, looking at us.

“We met at the library several days ago,” Yuta said, smirking at you as you turned away. “No way! Y/N, so the handsome guy that you met turned out to be Osaka Prince himself?” Chaeyoung said out loud as you exclaimed, “Chaeng! That’s not it! You got it wrong!”

Why? Out of all places, why do you have to meet him here?

“Should we get started on your tattoo, Chae?” Yuta asked, gathering some blank pieces of paper. These are the designs I want. The cherry tomatoes, the stars, the lips, and the four carrots.” She drew on the paper as he looked at them closely.

“Alright, that’s quite a lot. Are you sure that you will be able to handle it? I mean just as a warning you may faint, but as a tattoo artist I have to keep on going with the ink.” Yuta stated, looking at Chaeyoung seriously. “Fainting… Wait, what? Chaeng, doesn’t that sound a bit dangerous?” You said, hugging her arm as she smiled. “Nah don’t worry, Unnie. It’s normal to faint because there’s a lot of ink digging into my skin, after all.” She said, comfortably seating herself on the tattoo chair as you sat on a regular chair next to her

“Please, be careful, Nakamoto-san…” You mumbled, holding Chaeyoung’s hand as he looked into my eyes. “I will, Y/N-san. Don’t worry.” She smiled at you as he began tattooing the orange carrots. Once he started on the lips tattoo, Chaeyoung fainted. “Chaeng!” You shouted, caressing her hand.

“Are you okay, Y/N?” Yuta asked when he stopped and looked at you. “Yeah, please just focus on her tattoos.” You mumbled, placing the blanket from your lap to her lap. “Chaeng is so silly, she always forgets to bring a blanket with her whenever she’s wearing short skirts like that.” You said, patting her legs when you pulled your skirt a bit down. He looked down at your legs which you kept rubbing together to keep some warmth.

“Aren’t you freezing?” Yuta asked, glancing at you. “I’m fine…” You lied, hugging yourself as he finished tattooing the lips and mini stars on her.

“Here, take this.” He said, taking off his white jacket as he was left with his visible mesh shirt. “But what about you, Yuta-san…” You mumbled, putting his jacket on your thighs, “I’m used to the cold from the air conditioner. So, don’t worry.”

Yuta is so kind and thoughtful. It’s no wonder that he’s a good friend of Chaeng.

“Thank you, Yuta-san.” You said, watching him add the finishing touches of her cherry tomatoes. “They’re so pretty. You’re so incredibly talented, Yuta.”

“Come with me, I want to show you something.” He said, holding your wrist as you walked over to the corner of the room as he opened the door. It was a small room with a couch, cabinet, and table. We sat on the couch as he showed me the book he had borrowed from our library. “This is the book… that you got the other day,” You said when he flipped through several pages. “This is the butterfly inspiration.”

“Thank you for helping me find this book, it has been so useful for both me and our clients,” Yuta said as he slowly lifted his shirt as you caught a glimpse of that pretty butterfly.

“Did it hurt to get your butterfly tattoo?” You asked, glancing and studying the details. “A little, but it was tough to get the details on its wings.”

“Can I touch it?” You asked, reaching your hand out.

“Sure,” Yuta said, sliding his t-shirt off as you looked away shyly. “It’s so beautiful, did Ten or Johnny tattoo it for you?” You pointed at his other tattoo of flying birds.

“None of them.” He chuckled as you traced your fingertips on the wings of his butterfly tattoo when you looked up.

“It was actually me. I did it on myself.” You looked up shyly, “how did you do it?” You asked, noticing his belly button piercing.

“I used that large mirror over there and began carefully working on its shape. While looking at images of butterflies.”

“That must’ve taken a lot of time. But you’re amazing, Nakamoto-san.” You expressed as our eyes met when Yuta lowered himself and placed a small kiss on your head.

“Thank you, Y/N.” You looked up, pursing your lips together.

Does Yuta have a crush on you? Why did he just do that?

“There you two are!” Chaeyoung said while walking in as Ten walked, “oh are we interrupting something?” He chuckled, looking at Yuta being shirtless.

“Chaeng, are you alright?” You said, walking up to her as she nodded while smiling.

“Mmm, thanks for coming with me today.” Chaeyoung expressed and bowed slightly, “anyways how much do I owe you, Osaka Prince?” She asked, opening her wallet as she pulled out her credit card. “Forget about it, and just get Y/N to take me on a date,” Yuta said while smirking as he stretched. “Ehh?” You exclaimed surprisedly and stared at him.

“Deal.” She giggled as you looked at her, “hey Chaeng! That’s not fair!” Chaeyoung filled in her address, ID, and number.

“Just kidding. It’s 80,000₩, but I’ll make it half-price because you brought this cutie pie along with you.” Yuta said, looking at you as he entered the payment on the cash register. “But really, thanks a lot Yuta. They came out just as I had expected them.” Chaeyoung said, using her credit card before looking at her arm. “You’re welcome. Be sure to avoid direct sunlight on them, and here take this too.” Yuta said, handing her a moisturizer as she accepted it.

“Hey Babe, I just finished getting my tats done,” Chaeyoung answered her phone, speaking to Jungkook. “Wanna go and get boba, Y/N?” Yuta asked, looking at you. “Umm, sure thing. But only if the others join us too…” You stated, folding your arms as you walked out of the room.

“Yo what’s up,” a blonde-haired guy said, walking inside as he greeted Ten. “Nothing much just finished making Chae’s tattoos, how is it going, Yukhei?”

“Ah Yukhei, what’s up?” Johnny said, smiling as he did a small handshake. “Oh that’s nice, well, I was just nearby and thought I’d say hi.” He chuckled, his smile was warm and bright.

“Who’s this lady?” Yukhei looked over at me as you bowed, “hello, my name is Miyoshi Y/N. I’m Chaeyoung’s friend and roommate.”

“Nice to meet you, I’m Yukhei.” He bowed and smiled when you suddenly felt an arm around you. “Don’t flirt with Miyoshi. She’s mine, Yukhei.” Yuta said, pulling you closer as you could hear his heartbeat. “Ehh, Yuta? What are you saying?” You mumbled looking at him in confusion as Yuta stuck his tongue out.

“Ooh, so Yuta got a girlfriend now? Congrats.” Yukhei said, raising an eyebrow as he clapped. “What? N-no, you got it all wrong me and Yuta aren’t dating!” You yelled out flustered.

“What’s going on here?” Chaeyoung walked out as her eyes widened, “omg, Yukhei! Welcome back!” She ran and hugged him, “thanks, Chae. It’s nice to see you and your new tats too.” He chuckled as she showed off her arms.

You looked up at Yuta and naturally made eye contact with him, his arm was still around you.

Yuta’s warmth was so comforting and safe…

“Put a shirt on already, you pervert!” You said flusteredly, looking away as he chuckled. “Right, let’s go and get some Boba everyone,” Yuta said, putting on his shirt. “I’ll watch the store, you guys better not forget my order!” Ten said in a joking manner as Johnny nodded and laughed, “don’t worry, we won’t forget this time,” Chaeyoung put on her leather jacket.

So it was finally Saturday evening, this party had been on your mind the whole week. Although you were hesitant to attend it at first, you were happy that Chaeyoung convinced you to tag along.

“Hey, Chaeng… Don’t you think my outfit’s a bit too revealing?” You asked. “What? No, come on Unnie, you look so stunning!” You were wearing that black leather miniskirt, a hot pink top, black stockings, and a mesh-sleeve blouse underneath. “Besides, we’re kinda matching! I’m wearing a silver top with black leather pants,” she said, turning around with her arms in the air. “Anyways, Somi’s there, I’ll just go and look for Jungkook,” Chaeyoung said, walking away as she waved to her.

“Wow, Y/N-Unnie, you look so incredibly sexy!” Somi exclaimed as you blushed a little, “thank you Somi, you also look super pretty in that yellow dress.” She giggled as she waved to the guys approaching us, “ah, if it isn’t Y/N?” Johnny said, holding a glass of beer as you bowed, “hi Johnny,” you rubbed your arm awkwardly, “it’s good to see you.” He shook your hand as he introduced you to his friend, “hi, the name’s Mark, nice to meet you, Y/N. You look pretty” You waved and shook Mark’s hand, “thanks, nice to meet you too, Mark.” Somi suddenly grabbed a hold of Mark’s hand, “come on, Mark. Let’s dance, woo!” She giggled as she threw her hands in the air.

God… This is getting kind of overwhelming… Maybe, I should get a drink. You walked over to get a virgin Pina Colada. You watched Chaeyoung dance with Jungkook, it seemed like the others had a lot of fun too, and then you noticed him.

Nakamoto Yuta’s also here?

He looked at you and smiled. You looked away shyly, you looked around everywhere hoping to see Bryce but it seemed he was nowhere to be found. You drank your drink and let out a deep sigh as Chaeyoung surprised you from behind, “Chaeng! You scared me!” Somi and she giggled, “come on, what are you doing here sulking all alone, let’s dance!” They pulled you as they danced with you, Yuta looked over at you and chuckled as he danced smoothly.

You looked over when you noticed Bryce walk inside, you smiled happily and ran towards him, “oh looks who decided to come,” Chaeyoung said in her annoyed voice, “ah it’s Bryce,” Jungkook said, they all looked at the two of you.

You hugged Bryce and kissed him when he looked at you up and down, “Bryce, you’re here, I was waiting so long but you finally came!” You smiled, holding onto his shoulders. Yuta watched the two of you talking as he clenched his hands in jealousy. “Tch, what a show-off.”

“Why are you dressed like that?” Bryce stared at you, almost as if he was disgusted by your outfit. “What… Don’t you like the way I look tonight?” You asked, looking into his eyes as he looked away. “You look so slutty, this type of outfit isn’t your taste,” Bryce walked away from you as he went outside to smoke.

You clenched your hand in frustration as you closed your eyes.

Maybe you should head home and change, Bryce’s right. This outfit isn’t you after all…

You walked away fast, wiping the small tears that had formed, “I think that bastard made her cry,” Yuta voiced angrily, “that asshole…” Chaeyoung sneered as Jungkook held her back, he tried to follow you, “I’ll go comfort her.” You went inside the women’s bathroom and looked at yourself in the mirror. Why…? Why would Bryce say such a horrible thing?

You wiped your tears away and splashed some water into your eyes. Everyone else said you looked stunning. You took one final look at yourself and shrugged your shoulders. You felt beautiful in that outfit, a bit revealing but it was a nice chance for once.

There’s nothing wrong with trying something new after all…

You walked out as Yuta approached you, “hey, are you okay?” You looked at him and nodded, “thanks… I’m fine, did Chaeng send you over?” He shook his head, “no, you looked upset so I ran after you, did he say something mean to you?” You wanted to tell him the truth but you ended up shaking your head and not looking into his eyes.

“Y/N, you look incredibly beautiful tonight in that outfit,” Yuta complimented you when your cheeks blushed red. For once, you felt relieved at this party. Yuta’s words comforted you and made you feel confident. “Thank you, Yuta-san,” you smiled, looking at him.

“These two look much more like a better couple,” Somi said, watching you, “I know right?” Chaeyoung agreed, holding Jungkook’s hand. “I think Yuta might be crushing on Y/N,” Johnny said bluntly. “What? No way, Yuta-Hyung and Y/N? Doesn’t she already have a boyfriend?” Mark wondered, “Yuta seems to always fall for women that are already taken,” Jungkook said.

My question may seem incorrect or inappropriate to you, but I still want to know your opinion. Will you still love and support Jungkook if all his songs are about fucking or something meaningless? What if he remains a performer who will not write his own songs? Or what if his fuckboy image becomes his primary one? Will we ever find out who Jungkook is, or will he always be the Korean version of JB now? I always thought that I would support bts members no matter what, but now looking at Jungkook, I understand that this is not the person whose music I want to listen to. His interviews also give me a strange feeling. Are these really his thoughts or Scooter's? Who is this man? I just don't understand why I should continue to be his fan if his music and personality suddenly changed radically. I saw that you answered one of the anons with something like "whether we like it or not, jungkook chose this direction." So we should support him even if we don't like his new image, thoughts and music? But why? Because he was different before? I don't think he has changed because he has matured, because six months ago he was a completely different person lol. I think he's changed because he wants attention, fame and money, like the cool Western artists.

I think we shouldn't judge Jk too harshly too fast. His album isn't out yet. But I'd say this, if his music isn't your taste and doesn't align with your taste in terms of style or lyrics, you don't own him or anyone else your undivided support. We shouldn't force ourselves to listen to things we dislike just because a BTS member did them. It also sends a wrong message to them that the fanbase is enjoying something and we want more of it , when in really we don't even like it.

I believe Jungkook's new found fuckboy image is in part Shooter' doing , but in part JK's. The company probably suggested this route because it sells well , popular is in the USA and also fits Jungkook's appearance (hot guy with muscles, piercings and tattoos). I think Scooter got in his head that this is something that would be great for Jungkook to make him "a global pop star", but still JK isn't a mindless doll. The company may have suggested it, but he agreed. Clearly this image is something he is okay with, seems to enjoy and also maybe wanted to express for a while now (being more "mature").

That being said, just because JK sings and looks like a fuckboy, doesn't mean he IS one and even if he is a fuckboy in real life, I don't think this is all that he is. We've literally seen Jungkook grow up in front of our eyes for years and while every idol's image is in a part a facade and men will always be men, I don't think Jungkook changed completely or was deceitful so far.

Maybe the truth about who he is somewhere in the middle. He could still be a thoughtful, sweet guy in some aspects, and a man-whore. I only seriously wish and hope that he isn't misogynistic because I simply cannot support anyone like that. Him in that TikTok really gave me the ick but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt (for now).

As I said previously, Jungkook is set on this direction for now and he doesn't care if people like it. That doesn't mean we should like it and support it though. Just like he chose this path, we are free to choose where we want to spend our time and money. It seems Jungkook perfectly understands this and expects to lose some fans, yet he still chose this career path. Maybe this is a part of himself that is authentic to him and he wants to show it, no matter what that cost him. Maybe it seems to him the reward (being more famous in the USA) is bigger than the loss.

He said he felt like now is the time to shed off the Maknae image and he is doing it. I only hope that by trying to get out of the box some people out him into, he doesn't limit himself even more. This playboy persona and "playful, lightly shocking" songs could get tiring real fast. I hope he doesn't loose all the loyal support he has now , while chasing the idea of being "the main pop boy".

In conclusion, Jungkook is set on transforming himself and his image right now and that is his right. If you don't like who he has become by the end of this metamorphosis, you have right to simply ignore his music until the group becomes active again. Personally, I've never been a fan of JB , so if Jungkook becomes a similar type of artist, than he is simply not the artist for me anymore.

Part 2 to the question about an all in visual kei movie (repost)

I know I said that posting the 2nd question would be the last time I terrorize the visual kei tags, but apparently it wasn't even visible through my adding it to the 1st's post's reblogs so I have to repost. NOW is the last time, cause I've had it with how posting works on tumblr at this point.

This is what the 2nd question I had posted under the 1st one was:

Alright this is scary, but I have to ask one more thing, cause power lies in numbers and I really want the collective's opinions. Like I am seriously shaking just trying cause like...I want you all to take this as a joke, but it's no joke for me xD. Please keep taking it as a joke cause it is indeed very ambitious.

If we had the script to at least 1 movie like that...how would you think one could possibly convince all these people work together in such a big project? Money and exposure to a larger crowd aside, I mean, cause some jrockers have money and that isn't much of an appealing reason. This question is mostly for adult fans who've had a few years in their respective fields and know how various businesses work.

It gets crazy as an idea I know, that's why I said take this lightly, but think of the just as crazy possibilities. You might ask "why, what could I possibly get out of this for helping you or throwing ideas, or even knowledge" if you are in the same field...ahm...apart from entertaintment and getting a nostalgia trip and the possibility or reviving bands that gave up because of money (cause some don't give a damn how old they are and neither should you, like, both in your own life and when pointing your fingers on people like them, we only live once, we might as well try to live how we want), well....if you are an artist of any film field you could work with your favorite artists and get precentage of the income. If you aren't an artist, well...I don't know, that's why I said it's crazy. You get to share sth that once or still matters to you with a larger crowd. You get to see "weirdness" being represented in a way that encopasses many types of people that aren't considered minorities per se but still get shat on for what they choose to wear, believe and dream. Cause like who fucking cares if you have piercings, tattoos, if you want to wear crazy clothes, a dress down the street...maybe you want people's individuality to be represented, right? Maybe you too felt pushed aside once cause of this. This is about celebrating that I mean. Being who you are no matter what.

But yeah anyway....ideas? I know btw that some jrockers have said they are into the idea of playing a role in a movie but never had the opportunity and some like the idea of being villains (Ruki and Mahiro Kurosaki being 2 examples (also in case sb wishes to bring up Mahiro's condition, no worries, every single medical condition has been taken into consideration in case this was possible, and he or anyone else agreed.).

I hear you people. All gens in, again. Any ideas, even crazy ones are acceptable. Again if such project was a thing, the bands and artists will get the most out of it. If nth comes to mind, it's ok. The answers to the first question were more than enough for science. ^^

(and yeah this is the last question, i won't be spoiling visual kei and band tags with any more nonsense scenarios after this. The reason I even made a second question was because you guys seemed interested and also because, if I take into considerations which vkei pics I post get the most notes, many of you seem to still want to see sth long gone back, even for just a little, so yeah..i think we get each other one that one. And probably so do they. Who knows.)
