the renovation starts tmrrw (LOL) and i woke up from a dream abt it crying. awesome
#today is our last day having a deck and i genuinely feel sick to my stomach over it. ik it’s just a piece of wood and it’s falling apart but#omg like… o ur house is about to not be our house anymore. like the deck is where me and my siblings played w our best friends it’s where i#paced back and forth to get fresh air so many times ater losing my shit during lockdown and it’s literally about to be gone…. forever? ok!!!#and then the kitchen is going to go and im going to lose it genuinely. like this house is shitty and rotting and falling apart and its great#that we are getting a renovation finally but jesus christ i have lived here all my life and yeah i hate the kitchen but it’s home and you’re#just gonna tear it down and make jt 3x bigger like it’s nothing??? ok 😂😂😂😂😂😂#purrs#literally im getting war flashbacks to losing the van which was never gonna drive again but it was my SPACE for all of lockdown and#it got fucking junked after being my sanctuary (as unpleasant as it was) for like 2 years not to mention OUR CAR that we did everything in a#and now we have my grandparents car and there isn’t a backseat so i don’t get room to breathe when they drive. and also my grandparents#house has officially been demolished to make way for a fucking mansion and the near total renovation of my high school is almost done which#means the classroom where i became a human being is gone and the office is going to get destroyed too when that renovation happens and we’ll#have to go make a home somewhere else. i know this kind of thing happens but it makes me want to start screaming. like yeah these#renovations will make life better for everyone (except the fucking mansion it’s bc my grandparents died and the developers are selfish and#cruel lol!!!!!) but the way so many of the spaces that have been important to me keep ending up getting destroyed after im done w them. it’s#comforting in a way bc it’s like oh no one else gets to have it be important but also no that ISNT comforting i want those spaces to keep#being sacred i want them to mean something to other people and i want to be able to go back and soak in the memories again. and everyone is#mad at me for freaking out the renovation but it’s like ok you come into our living space you destroy core parts of my childhood and also#create a situation where we literally can’t like eat or cook anything in the house for months like idk what we’re gonna do bc we don’t go#anywhere bc of covid except work for me and school for my brother so. idk. this whole thing SUCKS. i can’t believe it’s starting tomorrow#and i can’t believe the deck is about to be gone. pain and suffering and pain and suffering and pain and suffering.

Moving In
Pairing: Jason Todd x reader
Warnings: None
Summary: a short Drabble on you convincing Jason to move in with you
Word Count: 963
Tumblr media
Your house was a haven for Jason. It was somewhere where he could lay down and forget all his troubles or simply sit in silence and not be overwhelmed by the life outside of your front doors. Despite the occasional complaints he hears from you about the woes of homeowning, he sees no flaw in your home. You were well off from your job, able to buy a nice home in the same area that Wayne Manor sat. It wasn’t intentional, you had been living in this home before you knew Jason, and through the years you had completed various renovations and upgrades to make it reflect you. There was a garden in the backyard filled with your favorite flowers, a sizeable kitchen where Jason likes to spend most of his time, sunlight poured through the floor to ceiling windows, and a few additional rooms catered to your interests were settled between the walls of the home. Convincing Jason to move in was not a hard thing to do. He hated living in an apartment and hearing his neighbors talk or walk around in the middle of the night when he was trying to sleep. You and Jason also found that it was a hazard climbing into the windows during the waking hours of dawn after patrol. A few close calls meant that most of the time when you were out on patrol, you two went back to your place to crash. It’s easy to say that he was delighted when you offered to let him move in after a long week of patrols gone south.
“You know, you should ditch the apartment, Jay.” You were laying on top of his chest, legs sprawled out over his and blankets nearly covering your face.
“Whatcha mean Doll?” He stopped combing his fingers through your hair and started twisting small loops into it with his fingers.
“Come live with me. You always talk about hating living in the city anyways and you sleep better there.”
“It would make patrols easier.” He commented, “You’re not delirious right, you’d actually want me to live at your place?” There was a tone of insecurity in his voice like at any moment you’d tell him you were joking.
“I am not delirious Jason.” You sat up and looked at him, “I have plenty of empty room that needs you to fill it.” “There’s plenty of room for your books in the library and you practically already live there. I’m pretty sure more than 60% of your things are already somewhere in the house.” “You could literally move in right now.”
“I would love to live with you.” He said smiling, “but I think we’d need to, you know, make sure everything is taken care of before I move out. My lease ends in a week and I’d need to pack everything up”
“We can get boxes tomorrow.” You said, “You can just start leaving things for the next week, plus, you don’t have to stay in the apartment even if your lease isn’t over.”
That was exactly a week ago and Jason was ready to move into your place. He pulled into the space in your garage that was meant for him with boxes loaded in the back of his car. There weren’t many boxes in his trunk, but he had a few odds and ends that he couldn’t send to Goodwill or throwing away. Most of the contents of the boxes were his books, some old mugs and pictures, the clothes that weren’t already in your house, hygiene stuff from his place, and other knickknacks he had around. After a few seconds of collecting his thoughts, he looked up to see you coming into the garage from the side door into your house with a smile.
You took his hand as he got out of the car and shut the door to walk to the trunk and start unloading. Taking a few boxes at a time, the two of you gradually unloaded everything and put it into the room connecting to the garage. It wasn’t going to take a long time for you two to unload everything, the most daunting thing to Jason was permanently invading your space. Taking the box filled with mugs, you opened the cabinet in the kitchen that kept all the mugs and started carefully putting them in like they were meant to be there.
“Hey doll, do you have a place you want all of this?” He asked timidly.
Usually moving in somewhere wasn’t a problem for him and he knew where everything was meant. He knew that you didn’t mind and just wanted him to be comfortable, but at the same time, Jason was afraid he would mess something up, make you regret letting him live with you.
“You know you can put stuff wherever. I mean obviously shampoo and conditioner belong in the bathroom and dishes in the kitchen but Jay, this is your home, I don’t mind.” You said comfortably.
Jason felt his heart swell at your words. This was his house now. You might have been there first, but you were telling him that this was allowed to be his home. Everything was perfect, nothing was popping Jason’s bubble now.
He set his stuff down and watched as you walked over to him and wrapped your arms around his waist. In a moment of silence, he ran his fingers through your hair and put his chin on the top of your head.
“I’m glad you’re here now.” You said softly, “I hated when you had to leave.”          Jason held onto you tighter and lifted your chin with his finger, “I love you y/n/n. You’ve given me the best life I could have ever lived.”
         “I love you too Jay.”

lazy mornings with mafia!eddie when he doesn't have to work or it's not as pressing and the two of you can be together <3 (also i know it's me lol, just using this as an example lol & bc i had the idea)
Eddie's arm was heavy over your back, the sun peeking through the heavy curtains, a sliver of light that made it's way through and right into your eyes.
The dogs lined the bed, ears down and resting, their chorus of snores rivaling their master's, who was currently drooling in your hair. Open mouth, loud snores pressed into your hair, tattooed hands wrapped around your torso.
"Ed," You groaned, voice groggy with sleep, fist rubbing at your bleared vision. The alarm clock on your side shone bright, red numbers- ten-eleven. It was early for you, late for Eddie, who was usually gone by now. Off to whatever horrifying things await him that he wouldn't tell you about. You didn't want to know anyways.
"Ed," Your voice cracked, feigning on the edge of a whine that had Hades and Lucifer perking up. The most protective of you out of the bunch, especially your baby, Lucy.
Eddie smacked his lips together, brows creasing at the disturbance, his eyes still closed. You hated to wake him up- he needed the sleep, you knew that. It was rare Eddie got a full eight hours- a full six, most of the time. But his arm was a steel gate over you, trapping you from moving.
You shimmied out of his touch, moving his arm as gently as you could, watching as he settled into the warmth your body left behind. Your heart swelled, his curls wilds and bed-messed, cheek smushed to his own silk pillow.
"C'mon," You whispered softly to the dogs, padding across the plush red carpet, walking into your slippers, and snaking Eddie's leather jacket off the bench in front of the bed. The four boys followed expertly, scrambling down the sun drenched marble stairs, bright with the light of the morning.
Eddie's jacket was warm, and you were thankful now the air cool now that the leaves were changing colors. The grass still wet when the dogs scampered out into it, doing their business in the newly renovated garden.
It was quiet, serene even with the looming skies. The chirping of song birds was replaced with crows squawking. "C'mon, boys." You cooed, stepping back to the back door. "Good boys." You hummed, your hand passing over their heads in a soft pat while they filed into the kitchen.
Dog food scooped into bowls, their water filled while they waited, sitting at attention, eyes trained on you expertly until you nodded at them to go. You started the coffee, some gourmet blend Eddie had imported from a Parisian cafe because you told him you liked it once. You insisted he didn't have to go to that trouble, that you'd be find with Folgers or whatever was at Melvald's, but he did it anyways for you.
Heavy steps fell down the marble, quicker than you expected for someone who just woke up. "Morning." You muttered, not bothering to turn around. You knew it was Eddie.
"Morning, baby." Eddie hummed, his voice still gravely with sleep, pillowy lips pressing a warm kiss to your cheek. "Wondered where you went."
"I let the boys out." You move in his arms, your arms settling around his waist, hands smoothing down the soft fabric of some band tee- one you usually stole when Eddie was working long nights. "Decided to make coffee. Was gonna bring it up to you." You frowned at him lightly.
Eddie grinned, lopsided and sleepy. "We can go back up. Just wanted to see where you went."
"Thought I was sneakin' out on ya, hm?" You grin teasingly, his hands tightening on your waist.
"Never." Eddie said firmly, eyes holding yours, curls bobbing when he shook his head. His lips brushed over yours, noses brushing, your arms making their way up his arms. "Just making sure you're alright. You know I can't sleep with out you."
You blushed, a heat burning from your chest, spilling up your neck and cheeks. "I know." You mutter, tilting your chin up to him. "S'you're staying home today?"
"Yeah." Eddie hummed, his breath ticking your lip. "Gare and Max are checking out the warehouse by the quarry, but I," His lips were on yours, a soft peck to the corner of your mouth that had your hear soaring. "Am all yours for today."

I Hope you dont get too tired with requests, take breaks and drink water!!!
Ok for the actual ask, may I have a dialogue 19 with Eyedress, and if it were suggestive it would be perfect
Preferably Ruggie💞 you can choose the other 2 (If you even want to)
Tumblr media
ruggie bucchi x gn!reader [tags] — suggestive, tiny bit of hurt but not really [wc} - 1, 025 prompt 19 “I try to find a reason to pull us apart"” song: Kiss Me Like It’s the First Time (Eyedress, “Let's Skip to the Wedding”) note - Ruggie canonically calls you a puppy. take that with what you will. francesca (1k event)
Tumblr media
“Kiss me like it's the last time/ You'll fall in love / I always want your love”
Ruggie knows that compared to everyone else on campus, he was the bottom of the barrel. He wasn’t a prince, an heir to a fortune, or even from a well-off family. Sure, his Grandma was a wonderful lady, maybe a bit strict growing up, but besides her and their home, Ruggie didn’t have much to offer. Maybe if you weren’t in such a bad spot, if you had a good family here, if you hadn’t been plucked from your world with nothing but the clothes on your back, he’d be happy to call you his own.
But he can’t. How can he when you have people willing to drop thousands of thaumarks on you like it’s nothing. Literally! He was listening to Kalim run his mouth as he talked about renovating Ramshackle to your preference.
“Oh! And we can get you quartz countertops! What kind of colors do you like, I can have it made to your favorite aesthetic! Ooh, what if we replaced all the appliances to match it? The kitchen back home has a gas stove built into the countertop, we can replace—”
“Uh, I’d need gas for that though, right?” You laughed, splayed across Ruggie as you two lay in your bed. Kalim was on video call with you, having gone back home for the weekend for some sort of event. You’d been complaining about one of your kitchen cabinets breaking and letting your few plates tumble out. Thank the Seven that they were plastic dishes.
Kalim being, well, Kalim, immediately went into a tangent about adding in a gas line to your dorm and adding this and that. Everyone was acutely aware that Kalim, as generous and kind as he was, was especially sweet on you. There were even some rumors that he had a crush on you, something that made Ruggie feel ill.
You just laughed off Kalim as he continued to whine about fixing up the dorm. You ended the call as you cheerfully told Kailm goodnight.
“Do whatever you want Kalim, I won’t complain about free renovations! Good night, say bye Rugs.”
“Hmm? Oh, bye Kalim.” Ruggie gave Kalim a small smile and wave, who returned it with a beaming grin.
After a few more words between you and Kalim, you finally ended the video call, tossing your phone to the night stand, and moving to straddle Ruggie’s hips.
“What’s wrong?”
Ruggie blinked up at you in confusion. “What?”
“What’s wrong? Your ears are flat, they only go flat when you’re upset.” Ruggie whimpered as you leaned down to flutter kisses down his throat, shuddering as you pressed your teeth against his Adam's apple.
“You wanna tell me what’s wrong? You jealous?”
“Mmh, no I’m just—aaaAAAaaaAhH!” Ruggie yelped as you dug your teeth into the nape of his neck, suckling until you were satisfied with the bruising red mark forming on his skin.
“Geez, give a guy a warning, won’t ya?” Ruggie let out a breathless chuckle, his chest rumbling as he purred from each kiss you pressed up your neck as you hovered over his lips. “You’re nothing but trouble, Puppy.”
“And yet, you love this trouble, don’t you?” The sound of your kissing, mixed with gasps and sighs from both of you echoed in the room.
“Now tell me,” Ruggie tried following your lips as you pulled away, but you kept him pinned to the bed. By now, you’d managed to throw his shirt across the room and traced your nails down Ruggie’s chest. “Why are you upset? Was it Kalim’s call? You know, he just likes to say hi sometimes.”
Ruggie pinned his ears flatter against his head, huffing as he looked to the side, though be traced his hands up and down your arms.
“Nothin’, it’s just that Kalim sure likes to spoil ya. You know?”
You hummed, waiting for him to keep going.
“I’m just saying, he’s really sweet on you. Maybe you should consider taking advantage and marrying the guy!” Ruggie laughed, though it sounded forced.
He stopped as you clicked your tongue, leaning back down to bite at his cheek.
“Hey! You know your teeth aren’t really sharp enough for that.” Ruggie chuckled as you stopped and pouted, looking up at him as you batted your eyelashes.
“Hmph, it’s like you just wanna get rid of me.”
“That’s not what I meant—”
“That’s what it sounds like!” You argued, huffing into his neck as you pushed yourself against his chest and neck, like you were trying to mold yourself to him. “You always do this. If I didn’t want to be with you, I would’ve left already…”
Ruggie sighed, rubbing the skin between your shirt and bottoms with his thumbs. “I know, I know. I just think that you oughta take advantage. Kalim’s not the only one, and you’re all by yourself here! Get yourself a rich boyfriend, and you’re set for life!”
You suddenly grabbed the back of his head, pulling at his hair to make Ruggie expose his neck again. He whimpered at the rough touch, though his tail was wagging rapidly against the sheets.
“And why would I do that?” His hand slid under your shirt and up your spine. He gently scratched your back as you shuddered into his touch. “When I have such a lovely boyfriend?”
Lips molded against each other, teeth clashed, and hips rolled as Ruggie, once again, failed to push you away. Instead, as he slipped your shirt off and moved to give you your own love bites and hickeys, Ruggie moved to bring your bodies closer together. Ruggie let himself lose himself in you once again, and would continue to do so. Again and again, until he found another half-hearted excuse.
But for now?
You pulled away again, breathless and flushed. “I just want to spoil my hardworking hyena, won’t you let your Puppy do that?” The down right heady tone in your voice, in that low, soft whine, made him hot in all the right places. Ruggie nodded, giving you the okay to wreck him.
For now, he’ll indulge, shamelessly, in you. As long as you’ll continue to have him.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
For once there was no dinner rush and Leia could step out for a quick bathroom break. She took off her apron and undid her ponytail braid. She made her way to the bathroom in her office. She did her business and took a second to fix up her office. All her diplomas, awards, accolades and certifications were neatly adorned on her wall perpendicular to her desk. The only award not in her office was her James Beard medal. She kept that safely displayed in her newly decorated condo she shared with her boyfriend.
At twenty-five she’s accomplished so much as a chef and she couldn’t feel prouder of herself. Moving out of her hometown at eighteen to go to culinary school then working at various high end restaurants all over the US and Mexico, Leia moved back to her hometown and began working as a chef in the restaurant sister to the vineyard her parents owned. ‘Sabor a Mí’, her restaurant, went through several renovations and it quickly became one of the most popular high-end restaurants in Kentucky.
Everything was coming together. She was in a good place with her boyfriend, a lawyer, of six months and he was going to meet her parents. They’ve seen him at the restaurant when he’d invite his clients to dinner at her restaurant but haven’t been properly introduced. Her parents knew it was serious if she asked if could bring him over to the house. Hell they didn’t know if she was even interested in anyone. For a while they thought Leia was going to be a nun or something because the last time she mentioned liking someone was in high school when she planned to ask one of the most popular guys for the Sadie Hawkens dance her senior year. Though that resulted in a shit show and since then she never revealed any interest to anyone. It was also one of the reasons why she moved to New York for culinary school.
It didn’t help that his family was the competition. Well not entirely. Jack Harlow’s family ran a successful bourbon distillery. According to her twin brother, Lucas, (their dad was a huge Star Wars fan and named them after the siblings from the franchise) he was 'chill'. Leia knew that of course. She and her brother were in the same friend group as Jack. But after that night, she left the friend group and kept to herself until she left Kentucky.
Leai’s timer went off in her pocket, letting her know her five minute bathroom break was over. She pulled her wavy hair back into a tight ponytail braid. She did her rounds around a few tables asking if people were enjoying their meals. Everyone complimented her and her employees’ hard work. She walked back to the kitchen when a loud cackle followed up a clap, caught her attention. She turned her head and lo and behold her #1 enemy was sitting at the head of one of the large tables for groups of eight or more. Leia spotted her brother beside him and composed herself.
“What the fuck is Jack Harlow doing here?” She asked Berenice, her best friend and pastry chef of the restaurant.
“No fucking way? My girlfriend has been–wait, why are you annoyed? It’s good for business if someone like him is here.” She shrugged.
“Personally I don’t want the enemy at my restaurant.”
Berenice rolled her eyes. “Just because sells alcohol like you doesn't mean he's the enemy, escandalosa.”
“Yes it does, now go kick him out while I fight my brother.” Leia pleaded.
“Stay in the kitchen, we sent out their entrees when you took your bathroom break. They’ll be gone in half an hour tops.”
“Fine, but I'm not doing it because you told me to.”
Leia took a meat tenderizer and went to town on some chicken breasts for milanesa de pollo. Her cooks knew of her temperament and just let do her thing when she was stressed and overwhelmed. A few minutes later she cooled down and went to the station where the cooks brought out the finished meals for her to approve and get taken to the guests.
“It’s still overcooked for his liking.” a server came by with steak and bean puree with a salsa verde gastrique.
“It’s a fucking thin cut of meat, obviously it won’t be rare.” a cook mumbled.
“What table is this?” Leia asked them after sending out a plate
“Table twelve.” the server said.
Leia poked her head out of the kitchen door and scoped out who was at table twelve. Her heart dropped to her stomach. Seated at table twelve was her boyfriend, Javier, sitting next to him was a beautiful woman. It took Leia a moment to realize it was Agnes Ngyuen, the daughter of one the partners from the law firm Javier worked at. Leia didn't think much of it. Javier always went out with partners from the law firm. It wasn't until he held her cheek and kissed her. Berenice came to see and saw her best friend’s boyfriend.
“Leilita, I’m so–”
Leia closed the door and grabbed a large carving fork. She approached the cook that was remaking the steak for her boyfriend and grabbed the cast iron skillet with an oven mit.
“Leia, where are you going?” Berenice asked her cautiously.
“I’m bringing our esteemed guest his rare steak.” Leia smiled.
With her back Leia pushed open the door. She strutted her way to Javier’s table with a bright smile. She caught Jack’s attention when she walked past them.
“Where’s Lucas?” A woman dressed similar to Leia asked Jack’s table.
“He left five minutes ago.” Jack answered.
“Fuck, I think his sister is gonna kill him.” she said
“Who?” He asked.
“Her boyfriend…well soon to be ex-boyfriend, depending if he survives this.”
The entire restaurant got quiet as Leia plopped a piece of meat in front of some guy. The woman sitting next to him jumped back.
“Is this rare enough or would you like me to get a live cow and carve out a piece from it?” Leia asked the man.
“Baby,” he began but caught himself when he remembered he was sitting next to him.
“Baby? Who is this Javier?” the woman next to him.
“‘Who is this?’” Leia mimicked her. “We’ve met a handful of times at your father’s stupid dinner parties. You would bore all the guests with stories about your overseas travels to Europe.”
“Leia, this isn’t the time or place.” Javier said, pulling her away.
“You made it that when you deci–”
“You’re embarrassing yourself.” He cut her off. He waved to the woman beside him. “Let’s go.”
They walked past Leia. she looked up and her eyes landed on Jack, but she quickly turned away. She fixed her chef’s jacket.
“I apologize for causing a scene. All meals will be comped and we’ll be sending out desserts to go.” she said before walking back to the kitchen.
Once the restaurant went back to people being lively as if the head chef didn’t just catch her partner cheating on her in her own restaurant.
“Excuse me.” the woman that approached Jack’s table looking for Leia’s brother said.
“Wait,” Jack said, going after her.
“Yes?” she turned back.
“How much do y’all make in one night?” He asked her.
“Depends, weekdays we don’t make much. When we do reservations only, there’s more demand and people want to pay more, on weekends we make the most profit.” she explained.
“Can you give me a ball-park estimate,” Jack read the name tag, “Berenice?”
“Tonight we were going to make about five grand. It was a pretty slow night.”
“Okay thank you.” He said.
“WHERE’S THE FUCKING MEAT TENDERISER?!” Leia yelled from the kitchen.
“If you’ll excuse me.” Berenice smiled.
“I’ll be at my table.” Jack nodded.
Berenice’s smile dropped and she pushed the kitchen door open. Jack heard yelling in Spanish between both women and took it as his cue to go back to his table.
“Who’s Leia to you?” Nickie asked in a tone that implied he wasn’t asking out of curiosity.
“Lucas’s sister.” Jack answered.
“She’s also his ex from high school.” Ace said mid chew.
“She would have been if he didn’t leave her fine ass hanging the night of our Sadie Hawkins dance because Kelly Cole asked him to chill at her place because she wanted to get her college boyfriend jealous.” Urban said nonchalantly.
“Shit why don’t you go to the middle of the restaurant and tell my fucking business to the rest of the people eating.” Jack grumbled. "Also you would have done the same. It was Kelly fucking Cole."
“No, I wouldn’t have. Leia’s fine as fuck now and she was fine as fuck then.” his best friend shook his head.
Urban didn’t see Leia like that, but he was well aware of the fact that Jack and Leia liked each other back in high school. He knew his best friend was an idiot for ditching Leia.
“She’s hot, if you’re into them being a bit crazy.” Nickie shrugged.
“Repeat that shit tomorrow when we meet up with Lucas.” Ace shook his head. “In her defense I’d go full Catherine Zeta Jones in No Reservations if my partner showed up to my restaurant with their side chick.”
“Honestly that guy is lucky Lucas is whipped for Harumi and left us or he’d be leaving in an ambulance instead with his two feet.” Urban sipped his exported beer.
Jack went back to his food. It had gone cold but it was still delicious. He missed Leia’s cooking. It had been almost seven years since he ate any of her cooking. The few times he’d go over to the Ruiz's after a soccer game with Lucas the food wasn’t the same. Mrs Ruiz was a phenomenal cook but Leia’s food was out of this world.
He knew she was going to go far in cooking. To this day he still felt bad for ditching her. Even more because the night before they had sex and he knew it was Leia’s first time. He tried reaching out that night but she removed him from social media and blocked his number. She was valid for being upset with him but he still wanted to apologize.
A server came by with a tray of desserts already packaged for the group.
“Can I get the check?” Jack asked.
“We’re comping all meals tonight.” They said politely.
“I know but I wanna leave a tip.” He said, doing his signature grin.
The server’s cheeks flushed. “Of course, follow me.”
Jack got up and followed them to the counter to pay. He took out five hundred dollar bills and handed them to the server. “These are for you.”
“Oh thank you so much.” They grinned.
They turned the iPad over to Jack with his total. It was well over $300. He put in a custom tip of ten grand and paid. He signed the e-receipt then flipped the iPad to the server so they could print it. They ripped the receipt out of the receipt printer and scribbled something on it before handing it to him.
“We’re not accepting payments.” Leia said, snatching the receipt from the server. She caught their number written at the bottom before fisting it and tossing it on the small trash bin. “Bere is taking care of closing. Tomorrow we’ll be closed so show up on Saturday at three for prep.”
“Yes chef.” They nodded.
“Have a good rest of the night and see you Saturday.” she smiled. She turned to Jack. "And you, leave my property before I call the police to escort you out."
"Even you know that's extreme." Jack leaned in on the hostess booth. "I'm merely a customer of this fine establishment."
"You're not a customer. You're the enemy and probably spying on us. Should I expect y'all to open a restaurant soon?" She crossed her arms, slightly pushing up her breasts to him.
Jack chuckled. "I’ll see you around Leia." He shamelessly gave her a once over eyeing her chest then went back to his table.
*
"He's so fucking infuriating. How fucking dare he show up to my restaurant? As if there weren’t other places he could've eaten at." Leia paced around her best friend, Whitney’s closet.
After hearing about the shit show Javier pulled on Leia through Urban, her boyfriend, Whitney invited Leia to go out for the night with some friends. But Leia was in no mood to go out. She knew at her fragile state she would either hook up with someone she would regret instantly or call Javier to take her back. But Whitney managed to  convince her and now Leia was several outfits deep with her face outlined with bronzer and liquid blush.
She was unsure of her living situation so her safest bet was to stay with her parents until she got her ducks in a row. Leia’s mind was flooded with a million things she needed to do. She first needed to get her things out of the condo she began renting with Javier. She still had a few months left on her lease from the storage unit she was renting out for her things, so she could store her things in there once more while she looked for a new place. She had enough in her savings to put in a down payment for her own place, but Javier convinced her that renting was the safer route before they could buy their own forever home. Leia felt so stupid. She fell for his bullshit lies in just six months. On paper Javier was the perfect man. But the more she thought about him and his qualities he became a piece of shit. At thirty-five he was still renting from a shabby apartment, he hadn’t made partner in the law firm he worked at despite working there for over six years and always prioritized himself and expected for Leia to drop everything to appease him. He thought the restaurant was a bad investment for her parents but he would take his clients there, drive up the bill and pretend to pay for them knowing Leia wouldn’t charge him. Not once in the six months they’ve been together has he done something for her. He always had some excuse to not to and Leia understood and hoped for ‘the next time’ that he promised every time.
"For someone who swears they don't give a fuck about Jack Harlow, you sure bring him up a lot." Whitney teased her.
"I don't. And of course I bring him up every once in a while because he's one of my family's rivals." Leia huffed irritably.
"Your family sells wine and tequila. Jack's family sells bourbon. The only thing in common is that y'alls companies originated in Kentucky. Well except the tequila that was in Mexico, but besides that, you don't have any sort of rivalry. You made that shit up to have an excuse to hate him because you know well that still hating him for what happened in high school is childish." Her friend explained.
Leia knew she was right but she won't admit that. She was hurt that Jack ditched her to be one of the girls that made her life a living hell in high school the day after he took her virginity but she got over it. She made a name for herself outside her parents wine and tequila company with her cooking and accomplished great things. The real reason why she’s so irritated at Jack, but she wouldn't admit it out loud, is that she's embarrassed that he was a witness to what Javier did. She would have rather had the pope sitting there instead of Jack.
“Okay you can vent about him later, get ready so we can leave. I told Ceci that we were going to be there at ten and it's almost eleven.” Whitney said as she matched her clutches to her outfit in front of the mirror.
Leia sighed, already agreeing to go out. She finished blending her makeup and carefully outlined her lips with a red lip liner then swiped some red gloss over them. She carefully folded all the skirt & top sets, dresses, tops and pants she was trying out and went with the sheer two piece she tried on first. She grabbed her phone off the charger and followed Whitney outside.
There was a black SUV waiting for them in front of the apartment building Whitney lived in. They climbed in and within twenty minutes they arrived to the club. Whitney grabbed Leia’s hand and guided her to the VIP area. All their friends cheered and squealed excitedly when they saw Leia.
It had been months since the group had properly hung out. After school they all went their separate ways but they always try to meet up once in the summer and then during the holidays. Leia went around hugging and greeting them.
Once she settled a bottle girl in black catsuit came by and poured them a round of vodka shots. Leia took hers and grimaced. She was not a vodka kind of gal. She mostly drank wine and tequila based cocktails. As the night settled Leia found herself getting flirty with the bottle girl that served them their first round of vodka shots. Next thing she knew, Leia was perched up in the bathroom sink while the bottle girl attacked her neck.
Leia reached up and squeezed her breasts, earning a soft moan from the bottle girl. Leia’s skirt rode up to her hips as she opened her legs wider and dug her heels into the bottle girl’s thighs. The bottle girl reached back and undid the back of Leia’s top. She bent her head down and kissed Leia’s now bare chest.
The door abruptly opened. Leia and the bottle girl untangled themselves. Leia’s eyes met an all too familiar set of blue eyes.
“Harlow.” She greeted Jack nonchalantly.
“Ruiz.” He nodded, quickly glancing down at her bare chest then he looked over to the bottle girl. “Kayleigh you get paid to shove drinks down the patrons’ throats not your tongue. I’m sure this could've waited until after your shift.”
“My apologies Mr. Harlow.” The bottle girl looked down at the ground embarrassed.
“You may go back to work. Tell Clay to assign you a different section for the rest of the night.” He said dismissively.
Kayleigh walked out of the bathroom without another word.
Leia fixed her top and got down the sink to fix her skirt. She leaned over the sink and touched up to lips. It was the second time in less than six hours that Jack caught her doing something embarrassing. Not that kissing a woman was embarrassing, it was more the fact that she was so desperate to feel someone on her that she forgot to do the most logical thing and lock the bathroom door.
“Even a fucking moron would’ve made sure to lock the door.” Jack commented.
“What are you doing here?” She turned and crossed her arms to look at him.
“This is my brother's club and I can come and go as I please.” He said, standing in front of her.
“I meant the bathroom. I'm aware this is Clay's club.” She deadpanned. Not that she was paying attention but he didn't go into the stall to do his business. He sat on the couch while she covered herself up.
“Don’t get in your head that I was purposely cockblocking you. I needed a break from Urban and Whitney dry humping each other. I would've gone outside but it's raining.”
“Please, I hardly think of you.” Leia rolled her eyes.
“Neither do I, if you’re wondering.” He said.
“I wasn't.”
“Right.” Jack smirked.
“Does this,” Leia gestured to him, “get the women turned on?”
“I mean at one point it got you turned on.” He shrugged.
“I was seventeen with low standards. I've evolved.”
“Yeah, to cheaters that take their side chicks to your restaurant. What an upgrade.” he answered sarcastically. The words slipped out before he realized. “That was too–”
“Fuck you, you fucking asshole.” Leia cut him off.
Jack caught her wrist before it met his cheek. He looked down at her. Her chest huffed angrily. Her lips were still puffy and swollen from the makeout session with Kayleigh. He did the most logical thing and kissed her. He wasn't sure why but it felt right.
It took Leia a second to process what was going on but once she did, she kissed him with full force. Jack picked her up by the back of her thighs and carried her to the door. He pressed his hips against hers and locked the door.
“See that wasn't so hard.” He smirked.
“Shut up.” Leia mumbled against his lips.
Jack carried her back to the couch. They continued their makeout session. Jack's hands wandered down to her ass and he gripped her ass, holding her in place as he grinded himself onto her. Knowing he was going to bust if he kept at it, Jack dropped to his knees.
He slowly dragged Leia’s panties down and pushed her skirt up to her waist then opened her legs to him. He placed her legs on shoulders and he teased her with his fingers.
“If you're just going to poke around, save us both the embarrassment and let me go find the bottle girl so I can get off properly.” Leia said, trying her best to mask how needy she was for his mouth.
“I forgot that patience is not your virtue.” Jack chuckled. He slipped his ring and middle fingers in her, earning a moan from her. “See what happens when you wait.”
“You're annoy–” Leia was cut off by her own moans.
Jack smirked and wiggled his tongue on her clit. He took his time with her. Leia's desperate moans and whimpers egged him on. Jack nearly came undone with how tight she gripped his curls, keeping his head in place as she grinded her hips against his face.
After a while Jack sat up and pushed her legs to her chest, so she was more exposed to him. With one hand, he pushed up her top, exposing her breasts. He roughly squeezed them as he continued to eat her out. His nose pressed on her clit, making her a moaning mess. With his fingers still fucking her at an agonizing slow pace, he sat Leia up and brought her mouth to his. Jack's beard was dampened by her arousal, a few drops fell onto her neck, rolling down to her chest.
She whimpered and reached down to his wrist. “I'm close…shit!”
With that the intensity she felt disappeared. Leia had Jack's name on the tip of her tongue. She almost came undone on his hand.
“What the fuck?!” She frowned.
“What?” Jack asked, adjusting his pants to hide the tent in them.
“You didn't get me off?”
“I know.”
“Why?”
“Because when I do, I want you naked under me in my bed begging me to get you to come. You're going to be so desperate that you'll even beg to choke on my dick after. Okay?” He asked, holding up her panties.
Leia snatched them from him and pulled them on. “There's no way in hell I'm leaving with you and begging to have your dick in my mouth.”
*
Jack gripped Leia’s hair and watched as his length disappeared in her mouth. He closed his eyes and leaned against his seat. Leia had left with him. Jack excused himself, making some excuse about having meetings. Five minutes later Leia said her Uber was waiting for her. The drive to Jack's place was relaxed. Their sexual tension oozed out of every pore they had, but it wasn’t until they entered Jack's neighborhood that Leia got handsy.
She kissed his neck while one of her hands dropped to his crotch. She sucked on his neck as she palmed his erect length. She undid his pants and stroked him until they got in his driveway. The second Jack turned off the ignition, Leia's tongue was licking the tip of his cock. She let out determined moans and choked out sounds the further she took him down her throat.
One of his hands gripped the back of her head, keeping her in place as he thrusted into her mouth. Leia let out soft moans. Her hands gripped his legs, nails digging into his thighs, keeping her from losing balance. Minutes later he spilled in her mouth. She had pushed his hands off of her as she continued to stroke him as he came, taking all of his release. Leia swallowed every drop and licked her hand clean.
Jack reached for the glove box and took out a small pack of wet wipes. “Here.” He passed it to her.
“Thanks.” She said cleaning her hands.
Jack took out some Kleenex and cleaned himself. He grabbed a wet wipe and wiped his hands off. He looked over to Leia and saw her looking out the window.
“If you don't want to hook up, we don't have to. I can take you home or wherever you're staying.” Jack said, making her look over to him.
“I was just thinking how crazy this night has been. If I hadn't caught my boyfriend– I mean ex, cheating. I probably would've gone home to him and gotten some mediocre sex and hopefully an orgasm. But instead I'm sitting in your car about to have sex with you.” She said, shaking her head in disbelief.
“Unlike your ex I'll give you all the orgasms you deserve.” He smirked.
“Well you did leave me hanging in the bathroom. So we'll see.” Leia shrugged.
Jack chuckled and leaned over the center console of his car. He gently grabbed her face. He claimed her lips and his hand dropped to her breasts. He slipped his hand inside her top and ran his thumb over her pert nipples while he deepened their kiss. Leia climbed over to his lap and held onto his face as she moved her hips against his.
“Condom?” Leia asked after she pulled away to kiss his neck.
“I have some inside.” He managed to say before moaning when Leia nipped his neck.
“We should get inside.” She murmured against his lips.
“We should.” Jack agreed before kissing her.
They made out in his car for another fifteen minutes. The December cold got them out of the car. They barely made it to his front door before Leia was using Jack's thigh for sort of relief while he got the door unlocked. Jack pried her off his thigh and guided her inside. He slipped off his coat and hung by its collar on the coat rack.
The pitter patter of paws came down the hall. Jack cursed. He thought he put LouLou in her crate before leaving. He prayed to every higher power that she didn’t use the hardwood floors as her toilet.
“And who's this cutie?” Leia crouched down to pet LouLou.
The puppy gave in and shoved her whole face into Leia’s hand. Leia scratched the back of her ears and rubbed her face with her thumbs like she does with Canela. Her pitbull mix. Canela lived in her parents’ rancho. She originally lived with Leia but when she moved in with Javier, Canela went with her parents because the apartment didn't allow large pets.
“That's Louise, but we call her LouLou.” Jack said.
“We?” she asked curiously.
She shouldn't be surprised at the possibility of Jack having a roster. In the last few years he grew into the confidence he had when they were in high school. She won't admit it outloud but he got even better looking. The beard suited him a lot.
“My family. My mom adopted her but she kept wanting to fight her neighbor's rottweiler every time they went on their walks with their other dog.” he said. “Do you mind if I take her out in the yard real quick?”
“No, do what you need to do.” She said.
“Help yourself to water or whatever in the kitchen.”
Jack turned on the kitchen lights and Leia nearly came at the sight. It was her dream kitchen. It was rustic farmhouse style. The stove was backed up on a brick wall with a double oven that matched the stove. The countertops and kitchen island were made out of light brown quartz and the cabinets were cornflower blue. The kitchen was modern but had a homey vibe.
Leia hopped on the kitchen island and closed her eyes, imagining all the meals and dishes she would make if she had this kitchen. The one at her condo was small and there was much space for her things. It didn’t help that Javier used the kitchen island as a work area because the spare room in their condo was converted into a home gym. In addition to the small space, Leia couldn't experiment in the kitchen because of the lack of equipment. There would be times where she would spend the night in her restaurant cooking new ideas. Or she'd leave early in the morning when she felt inspired.
“All set.” Jack said, walking in the kitchen.
He locked the sliding door and made his way to the fridge. He noticed Leia didn't get anything to drink so he took a few water bottles. At the rate they were going at it they were going to need them.
“Ready?” He asked, kissing her shoulder. Her coat had fallen off her shoulders.
“Yeah.” she nodded.
Jack took her hand and tugged her down the kitchen island. He pulled her along, up the stairs all the way down the hall. He opened the door and motioned her inside. He didn't waste another second without having her mouth on his. The only time he broke their kiss was to take off his knitted sweater and the black undershirt.
Leia did the same with hers and also took off her skirt, standing in only her panties. She let out a soft ‘oof’ when Jack tossed her on the bed. She moved towards the middle and leaned against the pillows. Jack kicked off his sneakers and pants off to the side, climbing on top of her.
He didn’t kiss her right away. He zoned in on her chest. He licked her nipples and tugged at them with teeth, leaving her a moaning mess as he made his way down her body. Jack slowly pulled off her panties, tossing them to their pile of clothes. He pushed himself up and rolled onto his side to grab a new box of condoms. He pulled off one from the sleeve and offered it to Leia.
“Care to do the honors?” He asked.
“Always making me do all the work like in Mr. Sánchez’s AP econ class.” She grumbled, taking the condom.
“I was starting to miss that bratty attitude but you know when to bring it back.” He scoffed, taking the condom from her. He got off the bed. “On all fours.”
“Wait, what?” She asked while complying.
Jack brought her closer to the edge of the bed.
“You were bitching about having to do all the work.” He began. He slipped his hand in between her thighs and rubbed some of her arousal on his cock. He slid the condom on and lined himself up behind her. Leia whimpered, moving her ass against his length. Without a warning he slammed his hips into her. “Now you don't have to.”
Leia gasped. She dug her nails into the comforter. She was not expecting to feel so full. She was aware of his size from having half of his dick in her mouth earlier, but she was visualizing something different for when he was inside of her.
Javier was long but he wasn't as thick as Jack so whenever he was inside of her it felt off. The first few times they were together he'd make back handed comments that she was too loose because of the amount of past partners she had and the sex toys she used. After that he kept comments to himself and pouted when she had to get off with her fingers or vibrator. Plus, she hadn't had sex in weeks so anything more than middle and ring fingers was too much for her.
“Good?” Jack asked, gently rubbing her ass.
“Yeah, it's been a minute.” She said.
“If it's too much let me know.” He said.
“What? You think I can't handle you? Please, you're not all–”
She yelped when Jack's hand struck her ass and he thrusted into her at the same time.
“I don't want to hear another peep from you unless it's to beg that I make you come.”
*
Jack tilted her head up so he could kiss her. His lips and tongue went at the pace he thrusted in and out of her. He wrapped one of her legs around him, bringing them closer as he took her. Her breath hitched at how good it felt. Jack must have noticed, and continued thrusting in that spot. The familiar feeling came over her once more. Leia was about to come, and Jack was well aware of it. His thrusts got more precise, hitting where she needed him. He just needed her to say at least ‘please’.
And he hoped that it was happening soon because he needed to come too. He thought she'd give in when he was fucking her from behind, but she didn’t. He almost got her off, but at the last second he pulled out of her. Leia let out a few explicit words. Jack ate her out once more, even then she didn't beg. Now he had her under him, chest to chest.
“Please, Jack.”
It was almost inaudible. Her voice was scratchy and exhausted. Like it was Leia’s final plea.
“Please what, Lei?” he asked her.
“Make me come.” She groaned. “Please.”
That was all Jack needed to hear. He motioned her to lift her hips, she obliged. He slipped the pillow under her back, so Leia's hips were elevated and he wouldn't put any weight on her. With that he continued where he left off. He wrapped one of her legs around him, bringing them closer as he took her. Since he was still kneeling, he reached forward and used one of Leia's shoulders to anchor himself as he sped up.
“C’mon, Leia, let me hear how you come undone on my dick.” He leaned in and whispered in her ear. He softly kissed her temple and said, “You've been taking me so well. Come for me, Leia.”
The tenderness in his voice pushed her over the edge, and she repeated Jack’s name over and over until her high faded. Jack continued thrusting in and out of her. His thrusts grew sloppy. After a few minutes passed, he stilled his movements quietly moaning out her name as he came. He pulled the pillow from under her and rolled on his back.
Leia didn't waste another second. She shot out of bed and went to the bathroom. She inspected herself in  front of the mirror. She looked thoroughly fucked. Her body was covered in hickies. Her hips still had Jack's hand prints from where he was holding her when he fucked her from behind.
“Leia?” Jack called for her from the other side.
She went to open the door and found him in a fresh pair of boxer-briefs. She crossed her arms and averted her eyes from how low they say on his hips. “Yeah?”
“The rain picked up again. You're gonna have to spend the night.” He said.
“I can just Uber. I'll be fine.” She pushed past him to get her clothes.
There was a clap of thunder followed by flashes of lighting. She hated thunder. When she lived in Acapulco she endured various thunderstorms and even a hurricane. She couldn't sleep because she'd get startled and think someone was trying to break in.
“You can take one of the guest rooms. I'll drive you home in the morning.” Jack offered.
“Okay, but only because Ubers charge more when it rains.” She said.
Jack nodded. He went into his walk in closet and got her a t-shirt and a pair of compression pants that he ordered online but came in a smaller size than the one he wore.
“Here.” He handed them to her and guided her to the guest room next to his. “There should be a toothbrush and toothpaste under the sink.”
Another clap of thunder filled the bedroom. It was louder than the one before, making Leia curse from being startled. That was when Jack remembered how she would always ask to sleep in his bed when their old friend group would go out in the woods.
He approached the bed and lifted the comforter. “There's no sheets on the bed.” There were. But Jack knew Leia wouldn’t straight up ask him if she could sleep with him. “It would be just easier if you slept in my room.”
Leia nodded in agreement. “Yeah whatever you think is best.”
They retreated to Jack's room. Leai got dressed and brushed her teeth then settled in Jack's bed. While he was in the bathroom, she set up a pillow division between them and rolled onto her side, facing away from Jack. Moments later she heard him toss the pillows on the floor and got in bed.
Leia was too exhausted to tell him to put them back and closed her eyes. They were mature adults; sharing a bed for one night wouldn’t kill them. They knew how to keep their hands to themselves.
The following morning, Leia couldn't breathe. It was like she was being held down. She opened her eyes and saw Jack's arm around her with his face nuzzled in her neck through the closet  door mirror. To make matters worse,  his dick was digging into her ass, reminding her of how her face was buried in a pillow as Jack ravished her. She pushed her ass back, testing the waters. She was about to do it again, Jack stopped her by holding her hips.
“Don't.” he murmured in her ear.
He rolled on to his back and stretched, pushing the comforter off them. His cock strained against his boxer-briefs, begging Leia to take him in her mouth.
“Need help taking care of that?” She asked.
“I'm not gonna stop you if you want.” He held his hands up in surrender.
Leia pushed her hair back and climbed on top of Jack. She kissed his lips and slowly made her way down his body until she reached his boxers. She kept her brown eyes on Jack's blue ones as she took his cock out and slowly stroked him. Her mouth practically watered at it. She sucked his tip and licked his sides.
Miriam’s eyes never left Jack’s as she took him back in her mouth. His stomach began to contract after a few bobs, letting her know that he was close. Slowly, she pulled him out of her mouth until only his tip rested on her tongue. She widened her eyes, making her look more innocent as she stroked him.
Unbeknownst to them, someone entered Jack's home. They dropped off the food they brought in the kitchen and made their way upstairs to his room. Without knocking they entered his room.
“Jack, baby, I know I said I was going to come in the afternoon but– oh!”

HEAR ME OUT...
I have here some underappreciated excerpts from The Art of Wish:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I tried to highlight the relevant bits, but the quality is a bit iffy, so to repeat what I really want to draw attention to... "The castle was built long before Magnifico was around, but he superimposed himself on it when he took over, which is what rulers have done all throughout history. [...] "Magnifico Style" is on full display in his study. We imagine that Magnifico remodeled when he took power, so this is a newly built and interior-designed space with everything to his taste. [...] Actually, the decision to have an ancient secret lair came very late in production and affected the design of the magic book as well. The lair is an ancient room that Magnifico discovered while doing renovations to his study, so the book had to be ancient too." So despite the movie's implications that Magnifico and Amaya built the castle from the ground up when they settled on the island, this isn't actually the case. Something ancient was already there and they built over it, shaping something new and 'beautiful' out of what I can only assume were ruins, because at this point in time Magnifico wouldn't have had enough power/authority to usurp any previous rulers. I expect the island was abandoned, the previous owner of the castle long gone. He found the lair in the tower with all its creepy contents (apple dripping green poison, cauldrons, skulls, etc.), including the forbidden book, which he then moved upstairs and sealed away in a glass case with a protective enchantment on it. But now we get to the actual reason that I wanted to draw attention to this, because what we have here is potential for COMEDY GOLD. Can you imagine it? Magnifico and Amaya arrive on this island, find an old castle with the most shady stuff imaginable in it, and instead of doing the smart thing and tearing it all down to the ground, Magnifico instead flips this evil villain lair. He grows increasingly persistent that this can work because he's stubborn like that, and refuses to give up on the new home they're building for themselves, while Amaya grows increasingly worried over the many warning signs.
"Honey, I found a prophecy etched into the old kitchen wall, claiming that any kingdom built on this isle is doomed to fall to paranoia." "ANOTHER ONE? Ugh... I'll get the paint."
"Baby, I found old diaries from the previous ruler of this castle, which slowly descend into gibberish as he seems to fall prey to some sort of mad desire for control and overwhelming micro-management." "Oh man, mood." "What?" "What?"
"Mi rey, the howls of the damned are coming up out of the secret lair again." "Hnnn... I'll add another layer of isolation to the floor tomorrow."

We have seen how people can ruin an historic home, but this is a whole n'other level of reno. These people have taken this 1929 Craftsman home in Johnstown, PA, gutted it, and turned it into a cowboy cabin/barn. I don't even know what to call it. 3bds, 2ba, $144,900.
Tumblr media
The facade of the house has been re-bricked. It could've originally been regular wood siding or brown brick.
Tumblr media
It's been completely gutted and opened up. The wood floors have been covered in carpet. A wagon wheel light has replaced the Craftsman fixture.
Tumblr media
This cabinet would've either been on the side of a fireplace or it would've been part of a 1/2 wall and columns separating the living & dining rooms. They saved it and placed it here in the corner.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Gone is the fireplace and a small platform was made to accommodate a wood burning stove. Oh, look, there's the other cabinet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The kitchen is just plain weird. There's no hint of the original Craftsman kitchen or its footprint. I think they wanted to make the front of the cabinet look like a farm sink.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is that carpet on the floor? They opened the wall in the kitchen to the sun room. It could've been knotty pine, and they bricked it over and added barnwood slats.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They've made this large space into a main floor principal bedroom. The original double doors are still there, but they put up a sliding barn door to the kitchen.
Tumblr media
The newly renovated bath is new knotty pine.
Tumblr media
Now, we're on the 2nd level in one of the other bedrooms. This is probably the original primary bedroom.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then this would be bedroom #2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Remodeled bath #2. It had a nice vintage look, but the tiles don't really fit it.
Tumblr media
And, this would be bedroom #3, b/c the room downstairs can't be counted as a legal bedroom without a closet.
Tumblr media
Rec room in the basement has what may be a homemade bar.
Tumblr media
The deck needs a lot of attention before it needs replacement.
Tumblr media
Nice yard.
Tumblr media
Barn-like shed.
Tumblr media
.46 acre lot.

Nyan XVII. Fluffy Home live (Final chapter)
Tumblr media
Nyan Chapters List
Tumblr media
"Why do I have to be blindfolded when I enter the new house?" You asked, moving your arms to catch Suguru's large hand on your face.
"This is a surprise. You don't know what this house looks like, and we do. That's why it must be a surprise for you. We want to give you a reason to go 'wow'! " Satoru said in a melodious voice as you heard him walking around you. "You know, I could give you my blindfold, but it'll be faster with my hand!"
You felt Suguru's chest push you forward slightly.
You grabbed his hand that he gave you to guide you.
To make sure he was behind you, you kept your hand on the side of his stomach as he stood behind you. You moved forward very slowly. You knew you had to take a step forward when his chest touched your back. That's the way you could have gone.
Because you knew about the strength of his hands, you were sure that he wouldn't let you fall when your legs hit an obstacle. That's exactly what you trust him with. Because he holds you. And his chest gives you stability if you were to tip backwards.
"Just a little longer." you heard a soft voice above your ear.
"If I fall, it'll be your fault." You muttered, holding his hand in yours tighter.
"I'll catch you." Suguru confirmed to you, pushing you lightly with his chest again. "And now..."
His warm hand withdrew from your face, revealing your eyes. When you were finally able to use your vision again, your eyes sparkled slightly.
You expected a small house where they just live.
And this thing... It wasn't a little house! It was a large house with a garden. You could even say it looks like a villa.
"Well, this house belonged to my family. The traditional estate is somewhere else. And I allowed myself to use this house when it turned out that it was in Tokyo, closer to the school. People used to come here because of old age, but in order not to live in an apartment all the time, I commissioned renovations and that's it!" He said like a real teacher with his hands behind his back.
"You sneaky cat... It's like a villa, not a house!"
"A villa is still a home, darling. Inside, I'm want your 'wow' reaction!" He motioned for you to come over. And he wrapped his long arm around you.
You reached for Suguru's hand so he wouldn't fall behind.
When you stood on the step to go inside, you saw that the only thing left of this traditional house was a lightly decorated roof.
"You know how brides come into the house for the first time?"
"Huh?"
Your body was lifted in Gojo's arms.
You can't question their strength again. They could lift anything!
You wrapped your arms around his neck as quickly as you could and watched his smile as he looked at you over his glasses.
"I'm not a bride!"
"We acknowledge that you are."
Suguru opened the door and let you enter first so he could close the door later.
You saw a large living room connected to the kitchen, but divided by a kitchen island. There were stairs to the first floor next to the living room and a corridor next to the stairs behind the kitchen wall. In the open space, through the high ceiling in the living room, you could see that there was a corridor above.
You were put on the floor.
"Wait a minute! I'll get you something in a moment!" Satoru called before running away and going upstairs to get something.
His long legs jumped gracefully over the stairs.
"...That's...Big. I didn't expect it." you said when you were alone with Suguru.
"Satoru cannot settle for just anything. Unless it's sweets and he's currently hungry." he said and wrapped his arm around your waist, kissing your forehead.
"When did he prepare all this?"
You rubbed your hand on the back of the couch in the living room.
"Hmm... I think it was when he had nothing to do with all that money. About two years ago. He then had a crisis of having nothing to do with the money."
You laughed.
"Would you like to seal your first day here?" he asked suddenly and walked towards you with a smile.
"Are all my things here already?"
"Absolutely everything. Just arrange it. But the first night is the most important."
"Hah... What do you mean...?” your smile became more nervous.
"Hmmm... What could I possibly have in mind... Nothing that will scare you." He spread his hands to the sides and closed his eyes oczy.
When he has a smile like that it's different...
You can't forget that he also has a wild side even though it's more hidden...
"What could I say huh..."
Suddenly, his hands shot out to your waist and he pinned you to the back of the rather high couch.
"Maybe I meant that we should seal our love in this house!" he exclaimed with closed eyes and an innocent smile.
His knee came between yours and he pressed his thigh against you.
"New house, new rules. And we both have one for you." he whispered smugly into your ear. "We're making our first day of memories together in this house."
He grabbed your jaw, gently parting your lips to attack your lips with his.
You held on to his arms as he bent you back so you were in a vulnerable and exposed position.
"We were supposed to start our tour of the house a little later. Why did you start without me?" You heard Satoru's voice.
You both looked up at the stairs to see him standing there smiling.
"The bedroom is upstairs. If we're going to start somewhere, it's a new bed." He jerked his thumb upwards.
You closed your eyes as you felt the tickling feeling of the dark haired man's lips on your neck. When you looked towards Satoru, he was gone.
As you looked for him, you saw him in the form of a white cat sitting on the sofa near your face and then jumping on the backrest next to you.
A moment later, Suguru's hands gently released you, and you fell softly on your back on the couch seat, with your legs up on the backrest.
The cat laid down on your stomach and started cuddling up to your chest, purring.
"Perverted fluffy cat." You laughed and reached for his tail. Your chest also met Suguru's black fur.
You laughed as you felt them purr.
But before you could pet them, they turned into humans, lying on either side of the couch with their feet on the floor. But with their heads on your stomach and looking at you. Their cat ears on their heads.
He placed his hands on their cheeks, watching their smiles. Purple and blue cat eyes looking at you with love.
You don't know how you will cope with them throughout your life.
However, you know exactly what you want.
You want to listen to their voices or meows.
You love these men.
You love these fluffy kittens.
And you will never regret bringing mystery cats into your home.
Because what you have now is the life you want to have.
"Kitty-chan~." they hummed.
"Nya~." you said with a laugh as they cuddled up to you.
It doesn't matter that as humans, they always act like cats. You couldn't imagine them as any other animal. They are like cats.
They do whatever they want.
And they stick to what they love.
Your fluffy cuties love you.
°✧---꧁END꧂---✧°
Thank you all so much for reading "Nyan"! I appreciate everyone who left something in the chapters, such as stars and/or comments. I will even ignore the critical comments... I'm glad you reached the end of this story with me! Thank you for your understanding about my writing (my language is not English). I wrote this story for a long time and my experience in writing the first chapters was different than now. Now I hope I have improved. But I'm equally happy that you were here and reading about my cat Gojo x reader x cat Geto!
I'm planning more of these (Cat Gojo x reader and separately cat Geto x reader, and also jjk x reader as pets)
Even though my adventure with this story has just ended with the last chapter, I will miss the fluff that was here. Thank you! I love you readers 💖

Secret Crush
Tumblr media
Pairing: Chris Evans x reader
Summary: Reader drives to Chris, then a thunderstorm comes and reader has to stay the night and share a bed with him.
Warnings: Fluff, Thunderstorm
A/N: Hey everyone! This is my fic for @secretswiftymarvelfan writing challenge with the promts Chris Evans, only one bed and the Dialogue “I made breakfast, but I didn’t know what you liked so I made enough to probably feed a small army”. It was really fun writing it and I hope you enjoy it.
Masterlist
It is a beautiful Saturday when you are driving to Chris’s home to practice some scenes with him for your upcoming movie. He is a really good friend of yours and you love doing movies with him. While driving you are listening to your favorite Taylor Swift album and you are very excited to spend some time with him. You park the car in front of the house and can hear a dog bark. That must be Dodger, you think. You take your bag and go to the door. You are about to knock when Chris opens the door.
“Hey y/n!” Chris greets you with a big smile on his face and gives you a hug. You love being hugged from him, it always makes you feel better. You and Chris go inside when Dodger starts to jump at you.
“Hey Dodger, I missed you.” You say and kneel to pet him. As you looked up you can see Chris smile at you and Dodger.
“Did you miss me too?” Chris asks you.
“I saw you yesterday and the day before” you joked and make him laugh. You both sat on the couch and Dodger jumps up and lays his head on your lap. You begin to smile and pet him while talking with Chris. After a while you start to learn a few scenes with him. After a few hours you can hear the rain splash against the window.
“Let’s make a break.” Chris suggests while putting his script away.
“Okay, that’s a good idea.”
“Let’s eat something, I made lasagne before you were here.” Chris says and you both go to the kitchen. You two eat something and of course Dodger eats something too. You are eating when you suddenly hear a thunder and freeze. You are scared of thunderstorms since you are kid and Chris didn’t know about that. Chris sees that you are getting tense.
“You should stay the night, Y/n I don’t want you to drive home in this weather.” Chris says.
“I don’t want to bother you.”
“You are not bothering me Y/n, I promise.” He says and you can hear another thunder but this time it is much louder than before.
“Okay, yeah. I’ll stay I am not putting a foot out there.” You fearfully say.
“What about we watch a movie so you can’t hear the thunder.” You begin to smile. He knows exactly what you need.
“Yeah, that would be great.” You nod and go to the couch and he puts Disney plus on. He looks at you and can see a scared look on your face as another thunder is to hear.
“What movie would you like to watch?” He asks you.
“Toy Story.” Because you know he also likes the movie you suggest to watch it and he starts the movie. After a while Dodger joined you and you totally forgot the storm outside when suddenly the lights and the tv went off, you flinch.
“Hey, it’s okay.” Chris spokes softly and puts the light of his phone on.
“You stay on the couch with Dodg while I grab some candles, okay?”
“Please hurry up!” You whisper.
“I will, cuddle with Dodger while I am gone.” You cuddle up with Dodger and you sniffle when you hear another thunder and see the lightning.
“Hey, I’m back” Chris says while putting a few candles on the table. He sits beside you, and you sit up.
“Can you …hmm… maybe hold me?” You carefully ask him.
“Of course, I can sweetheart.” Chris gets closer to you and pulls you into his arms. You feel so save in his arms and start to relax. After a while the storm stops but you are still cuddling on the sofa. Suddenly the TV went back on.
“Do you want to continue the movie?” Chris asks you.
“I think I’d rather go to sleep now.” You reply and he turns the TV off.
“Okay, but there is a problem I only have one bed my guest room is currently being renovated. But I can sleep here if you want and you can have the bed.” Chris scratches his neck.
“No, you don’t have to sleep on the couch Chris. I don’t mind if we share the bed.” You softly say to him because you don’t want to sleep alone. He smiles and you follow him up the stairs. He takes a shirt from his closet and hands it to you. He tells you that you can wear it and gives you a new toothbrush. After brushing your teeth and putting his shirt on you go back into his room and see him laying in bed. He locks up and sees you standing there.
“Are you sure you are okay with this?” He asks you while putting his phone on the night table.
“Yeah, it’s just sleeping, right.”
“Yeah” Chris nods and you make yourself comfortable in his bed. He turns the light off and you say goodnight and try to sleep. When you start to shiver.
“Is everything okay sweetheart?” Chris asks into the dark.
“I’m a little cold.” You mumble.
“We can cuddle if you want, my arms are warmer.” Chris says and you move over to him. You rest your head on his chest while he wraps his arm around you. After a few minutes you fall asleep.
…..
You wake up to a barking sound and blink because of the light that comes through the window. You realize that you are still cuddled up with Chris and are laying on his chest.
“Good morning” Chris mumbles.
“Good morning” you greet and pull away from him that’s when you both hear dodger bark again.
“I’ll go downstairs and let dodger out, you can stay here for a while if you want.” He yawns and stands up. You lay there for a while when you decide to go brush your teeth and change into your clothes again. As you walk down the stairs you can smell so many different things. You go to the kitchen table and see, fried eggs, omelet, French toast, different kind of buns and even waffles and pancakes. You look up and see Chris coming from the bathroom.
“I made breakfast but didn’t know what you like so I made enough to probably feed a small army.” Chris nervously says and you chuckle. He is so cute you think. You both sit down, eat something and drink a coffee.
After a while
“I lied to you.” Chris suddenly says and you look at him. You hate when people lie especially when they are important to you.
“What do you mean?” You ask him scared what he will say.
“Because of my guest room.... it is not getting renovated...I didn't want you to sleep alone...in case something happens...I have a crush on you y/n and I really enjoyed cuddling with you.” Wow he likes you too. You begin to smile and see a confused look on his face. You have a crush on him for so long and didn’t think he would feel the same.
“I enjoyed it too, and I can’t believe you also have a crush on me.” You say and he instantly smiles when you hear dodger bark which means he wants to go back inside. You go to the door and let dodger inside and say good morning to him. When you turn around Chris is standing right in front of you.
“So, you’re not mad that I lied?” He nervously says.
“No, I’m not, otherwise we probably wouldn't know that we both have feelings for each other.” You say and that makes him very happy.

Very... very unfortunate life update
Hi, everyone.
Ok, I don’t want to waste your time but I wanted to be upfront about what’s going on in my life just so you all know.
Last night I got what is probably one of the worst emails that could have ever appeared in my inbox? Our landlord has given us a 60-day notice to get out. For context, my mom and I have been living here since the year 2000. We have never been late on rent or missed a payment despite every difficulty life has thrown at us in that time and this has completely blindsided us.
We haven’t spoken to any of the neighbors yet but some of the wording on the notice makes me think that they may be kicking out the entire building. Or maybe they’re just targeting those of us in the non-renovated units because we’ve been here so long and they could charge a new tenant much more with a quick kitchen and bathroom upgrade. Renoviction is a new word I just learned. I don’t know. That’s what happened to my brother at his last apartment. They kicked out everyone in his building, renovated, raised the rent, then let new people move in.
They suddenly started increasing our rent every year like clockwork a few years ago so I’ve had a feeling they’ve been trying to price us out for a while but I didn’t know they could just… tell us to leave just because they can. Rent consistently paid up and everything for 24 years.
The notice we received really doesn’t say much so it’s all speculation I guess. It doesn’t state a reason why it just says we need to be gone by March 31st.
But basically, I’m really not doing well right now in all honesty. I slept for maybe an hour last night and it’s like a switch flipped in me as soon as I read the email. My stomach has had this weird knotted feeling ever since and I can’t stand up for more than a few minutes before needing to lie down again in case I either faint or vomit… I’m not sure which but it’s been this way since last night. I had to stand up at the sink to wash one singular dish from dinner and I could barely do it. At least I didn’t see the email until after I ate last night because I still have no appetite now.
However bad I’m feeling I know my mom is probably feeling worse. She has been for a while. She’s getting older and my dad is no longer alive. Aside from my brother and one irl friend I still see in person regularly, we have no family or other support system in this country and are well and truly on our own, staring down the barrel of homelessness if we can’t quickly secure a place and move decades worth of our life there before the end of March.
All of this to say, I don’t know what our usual art shenanigans here are going to look like during this time. I am incredibly stressed to the point where I am physically ill but I also can’t pause and step away because I do need the income that I receive from your support of me/my art here. It’s just the reality. I’ve never been particularly Big And Successful with what I do so your support means all the much more and makes a real impact on my life.
I am so sorry if this dampens your mood at all today or if you notice a decrease in the quality of art I’m able to deliver over the next few months but I will try my best to keep things rolling and let you know if there’s any particular delays to expect.
To top it off, I requested a tour of a nearby apartment last night (more expensive than our current) and the name of the person who just texted me back has the same name as our current landlord. Who wants to start taking bets? I know for a fact they own a lot of property in the area so this isn’t looking promising.
Anyways. Sorry for this downer of a post. If we’re not homeless in 2 months then… I dunno. I’ll have somewhere indoors to do art? Yay? You can imagine the housing market we’re dealing with being in California. The prospect of moving at this point has always been one of my biggest fears but we’ll see if we get lucky real fast 😢
If you've ever thought about supporting my Patreon or anything else, now and over the next few months might be a good time if you can swing it. Maybe it'll help us secure a place to move if I can point to it and be like 'Look! A whole income!' 🥲 Idk man.
There's an art update in the (public) post I made if you want to see what we're at least trying to work on for sticker club through all of this.

Finding Her - Chapter 19
Tumblr media
Link makes notes, takes photos and keeps time on his quest across Hyrule, in the hopes of finding Zelda and staying sane until he does. [ Previous | Next | First | AO3 ]
Log date: 17:35. 9th month, 18th day 104AC Location: Lookout Landing, Emergency Shelter  Weather: Overcast, drizzle
Arm hurts, really hurts. A Yiga got me there. In a bad way, but getting better.
Don’t know where to start or where to end. It’s Autumn already, but it was Summer yesterday. Talk of a Blood Moon soon. Or did that already happen? Head’s swimming. Losing my grip a little and then suddenly I’m
Upstairs, in the loft, dozing. Zelda’s downstairs. Where’s the flour? she asks, I want to bake something. It’s been over a hundred years! So we try but I’m a better cook than a baker and she’s a culinary mad scientist. No measuring cups, no recipes, just vibes. We’re sitting on the floor waiting for the cake to bake, flour everywhere, and then she’s on my lap, then her lips are on mine, then her apron is gone along with the rest of our clothes, and when I wake up in bed next to her, there’s still flour in her hair.
Was that yesterday or the day before? Trying to hold on. Time flowing through me like air out a window. If I reach out I can catch moments in my palm: Standing with Scorpis under a sunshade, waiting for the rain to pass. He’s telling me it’s a family legend that his great-grandfather was a Knight, like me. Then I’m with Jerrin, getting my bandages changed. She says it’s a miracle I survived, or perhaps the Goddess’ idea of a joke. Then Muzu is insisting we train the soldiers harder, but Slergo and Offrak say people are already working their guts off. Gralens hands me the latest edition of the Lucky Clover Gazette. Buliara and Harth take inventory of my gear and weapons. Mubs reads me a letter from Garini, who says hi.
I’m here. I’m trying to be here. They’re saying the Sages are on their way to Lookout Landing. They say victory is near. But all I wanted was her, and that future only half-dreamed. The one where we have a house on a hill and it’s being renovated to add a library. Zelda’s downstairs, reviewing the plans over a cup of tea, and I’m upstairs, in the loft, checking on the baby. He was a winter-born child, like me, so he’s strong. There’s a cake in the oven. And it’s a good one.
A photograph of the kitchen in the Emergency Shelter. It’s quite orderly, as though someone has recently given it a tidy, though some jars of flour, sugar, milk and yeast are still out of place. There is a fire crackling below the stove.

Log date: 19:34. 9th month, 21st day 104AC Location: Passeri Greenbelt, Hyrule Field   Weather: Partly cloudy
Cool morning. Trees are going red now. Rode out with the Monster Control Crew at noon. There’s a camp nearby that they hit once every few weeks, but each time it gets rebuilt a little closer to Lookout Landing. We prayed at the Goddess Statue before we left. Paya is here now, leading the services. As the hours tick down, all round the clock, people pray.
The Sages arrived two days ago. Impa and Robbie not long after that. Here to give every last Message Medallion a service, Robbie said, while Impa handed Josha a stack of ancient texts to translate. Then, an emergency meeting with the Sages. They’re fidgeting, they’ve heard the rumours. Purah starts saying something but I stop her. They won’t believe the truth from anyone but me. Don’t know what I said, only that I tried to think of how Zelda would tell them, if she were in my place.
Felt like all hell broke loose after. Gasps, cries, bowed heads, furious tears and vows of vengeance. All that anger and grief is a torch to a powder keg. Suddenly Purah is saying we march at dawn, tomorrow we avenge our Princess and destroy the Demon King! And I’m standing there unable to breathe because I realise I'm not ready. I can’t face him yet and I don’t know why. And I’m trying to think of how to say that without freaking everyone out, because your hero isn’t exactly meant to have second thoughts… when it’s Josha who saves me one final time.
‘You can’t go!’ she cries. She grabs some ancient book and flips through the pages, pointing to what looks like a lunar chart, with a bright red circle at its centre. ‘There is a Blood Moon tomorrow! If it happens while you’re down in the Depths, it could be a disaster!’
More whispers. A bit of back and forth. Purah brushes her off as paranoid, but then the Sheikah gather around a couple calendars and do a few calculations, and in the end, the attack is called off.
So Ganondorf got himself another day, and so did I. Can’t delay forever but… there’s just something not settled in me yet. When we win this, everyone else’s lives go back to normal.
But what about mine?
A photograph of the night sky, clear as glass and only broken up by the pinprick lights from distant stars. Low above the horizon, almost pulsating, is a huge, crimson moon.

Log date: 10:00. 9th month, 22nd day 104AC Location: Sanidin Park Ruins, Hyrule Ridge Weather: Fine
They’ll have realised I left by now. I put a note on my pillow promising to come back by sun-down. Have to keep moving in case they send scouts after me.
Not abandoning them. Would never dream of it. But I promised myself to chase every lead and this last one is for me.
Read through the Lucky Clover Gazette this morning and a headline on page 8 caught my eye. WINGED WRITER HANGS UP HIS FLYING GOGGLES. Penn? He’s leaving the Gazette? He told me that Traysi loved his work. I have a great all-weather climbing set to show for it.
Might be stalling. Might not. Just want to figure this one out. Penn was looking for Zelda too, after all. And maybe searching for something else along the way – a reason to wake up each morning, get back on the trail, and soar long…
He deserves to know what happened, or at least for someone to thank him for his hard work. Or maybe I just want to see a friendly face, before the end of it all.
A photograph of the said Lucky Glover Gazette article, held up for the camera, the greenery of Hyrule Field just visible in the background. There is an illustration of Penn literally hanging up his goggles, with a pantomimed look of resignation on his face.

Log date: 15:50. 9th month, 22nd day 104AC Location: Great Sky Island, Central Hyrule Archipelago  Weather: Clear
I found Penn on Washa’s Bluff, in a gazebo where an old friend and I sat once. Kass would sing until the sun went down, and as thanks I’d make us both dinner. His songs still carry on the wind if you know how to listen. They’re the songs of the land, after all.
We talked for a long time. I told Penn we made a great team, that his leads were invaluable, and that chasing them down kept me on my toes. Sure, we didn’t find Zelda, but we told the stories of her people and should be proud of that. He said he’s still leaving the paper no matter my flattery. Spoke about having lost his touch, that his instincts were gone. A reporter without instincts is like a Knight without a sword. It didn’t help when he noticed that I did, in fact, have my sword back.
‘Don’t worry about me, partner,’ Penn said. ‘I’ll get back in the air, someday.’
But I was worried. I didn’t want Penn to lose hope… I didn’t want to lose hope. And in that moment, it felt like waking up. Like surfacing from beneath deep waters. I wanted to be alive. I wanted to live a good life. I knew I still did, even without her, even with all the pain.
So I said to him that maybe wanting to be better is its own instinct. Maybe trying to find something or someone or some meaning to it all is what keeps us going. And maybe we don’t have to do any of that alone. Penn sat with that for a long time, and then pulled out his notebook.
‘Would you want to write a column for the Gazette?’ he asked. ‘Our readers would love it. I’ll edit it, of course.’ How could I say no? We shook on it then and there. So much for his sabbatical.
It’s nearly time. I bid Penn farewell, then came here. Wondered — if I could choose how to spend one last afternoon, what would I do? The answer was easy, though it took a little while to coax Zelda to join me. But now we’re here and we’re ready: for a nap, with the sun on our backs, and nothing else but us and the quiet moments we can still share.
I miss you, Zelda, even though you’re right here. I miss you more than I could ever say. But I’m going to keep on living. I’m going to live enough life for the both of us. I think it’s what you might have wanted.
If nothing else, I consider it a duty. What is a Knight, if not a devotee to his lady?
A photograph of the Light Dragon, coiled around a hollow tree stump that sits atop one of the atolls of the Great Sky Island. Three Korok wind-fans are placed in front of her snout – a makeshift lure, and apparently a successful one. On her mane is Link, resting comfortably on her hair. Together, they doze.

chapter eleven — realization
➝ the first steps towards something new are always the scariest, but at the same time, the most amazing.
➝ word count: 3,8k
➝ warnings: none
6 WEEKS
Your baby's heart beats about 105 times a minute. Her nose, mouth, fingers, toes and ears are forming and begin to take shape. You may be experiencing morning sickness and sore breasts.
As she stepped out of the car, Cassie took a few minutes to admire the home in front of her with a little smile on her face.
The house could be described as a small mansion, and it stood out from the others in the neighborhood, with architectural features that made it stand out from the neighboring houses. It was built in a more contemporary design, all of the angles converging into the entryway, which was rounded, like a castle’s turret. The house featured several large windows, which ensured that the inside was bright and well-lit into the evening. In the late afternoon sun, it looked less like a mansion and more like a cottage — warmer and more welcoming than some of the neighboring properties.
Cassie knew that Toto had bought the house when he moved to the UK to start at Mercedes, and he’d had a lot of renovations done. He hadn’t just redone the main building, but the garage and the sumptuous back garden as well. The first time she’d visited, when she and Toto had begun discussing the IVF process, she thought, even then, that it was an ideal home to raise their future child.
Slinging her purse over her shoulder and squeezing the strap a little harder than usual, she walked to the front of the house and pressed the doorbell. A few seconds later, the door opened.
— Good evening, Cassie — Toto said, greeting her with a wide smile, before opening the door wider — Come in.
She brushed past him, planting a chaste kiss on his cheek before heading down the hall. After taking off her shoes and handing her bag to Toto to hang on one of the hooks installed on the wall, Cassie made her way through the foyer, glancing at the compass rose painted into the hardwood. There was something charming about that detail, as well as the way the stairwell that snaked up the round entryway a nautilus shell.
As she glanced around, she could see a little girl coming down the stairs to hug her after a day at work. She could see the toothless smile and the eyes shining with joy, and hear the pride in her daughter’s voice as she presented Cassie a crayon drawing of herself, Cassie, and Toto. “Our family”, the girl would say, before Cassie kissed her and took the drawing to the fridge, along with other drawings. In these imagined flights of fancy Cassie had become prone to, the scenery and setting changed, but the characters were the same: a tall man, a red-haired woman, and a little girl, always holding hands.
Always together.
— Cassie?
Pulled from her thoughts, she smiled at Toto.
— Yeah?
— Shall we go to the kitchen? — Toto asked, smiling — I'm just now finishing dinner.
— Sure, let's go — Cassie replied, following him through the house, trying to shake  off the sadness that had always crept in her after imagining their child growing up there, filling the house with drawings of it with its parents together, little red-crayon hearts flanking the representation of her and Toto.
The rational part of Cassie's brain made her stop those thoughts. They were just friends. Of course, they had a fondness for each other, which had culminated in a single night and, consequently, in the pregnancy they were both anticipating, and eventually, the child they both wanted. That child would bring them together one way or another, but they wouldn't be a conventional family. They never would be, if it were up to Toto. The realization of that was painful to Cassie, especially after the way Toto had acted during her first prenatal ultrasound earlier in the week.
They both had gone to Cassie’s first appointment with her obstetrician. It was fairly long, because both of them had to go through a sort of miniature orientation about the process, and Toto ended up in a discussion with the doctor about an article he’d read about the incidence of premature birth in babies born to fathers over age 40. They’d also set an appointment for their first ultrasound. It would be the first time they’d see their baby.
It was a lot to deal with, and when Cassie arrived at the clinic, she was a little tense. It didn’t help that Toto had been trapped in an engineering team meeting in Brackley and had only managed to get out a half an hour before her appointment, at least according to the message he’d sent to Cassie.
As she waited to be called into an exam room, Cassie felt her chest tighten. She still wondered how or why she thought she’d considered undergoing all of this by herself. She wasn’t sure what she was thinking at the time — now, it seemed impossible that she would have considered doing all of this with no one by her side, holding her hand and telling her that everything would be okay. It was bad enough not having Toto waiting in the waiting room with her, how could she have possibly gone through this entire process alone? It was madness, surely.
— Cassandra Aldersey? — a female voice asked in the waiting room. Looking up, she saw a nurse with a chart in her hand and a smile on her face.
Glancing one last time at the clinic’s entryway in the hopes of seeing Toto walk through it, Cassie got up from her chair, following the medical assistant into the exam room.
— Is this your first ultrasound, Miss Aldersey?
— Yes — she replied, slipping her phone into her purse.
— First child?
— Yes — Cassie said, smiling.
The assistant opened the door to let Cassie in. The room looked like every other ultrasound room she’d been in for the past few months. She’d lost count of how many ultrasounds she’d had by now, in order to monitor her uterus and ovaries during the IVF process. There were two armchairs against one wall, as well as a stretcher in the center of the room, where she would lie down. Next to it was the ultrasound equipment, all set up and ready for her
— You can settle down on the table, the technician will be arriving soon to perform the exam, okay? — the woman said, her eyes glued to Cassie’s chart.
— Yeah, thank you — Cassie replied, a shy smile on her face.
The nurse left the room and closed the door behind her, leaving her alone to get ready for the ultrasound. Taking the cell phone out of her bag again and placing it in one of the armchairs, Cassie sat on the table for a few seconds, caressing her belly. It wasn’t as if she was visibly pregnant yet at all — it was far too early for that, but Cassie couldn’t wait to feel her baby’s presence inside, in some way other than the daily bout of morning sickness that sometimes stretched into the afternoon.
Cassie had just gotten settled onto the table when a woman wearing a lab coat knocked on the door quickly and opened it, a pleasant smile on her face.
— Miss Aldersey? — she asked, which made Cassie nod. The woman smiled — My name is Leigh, I'm the ultrasound technician that will be doing your exam today. How are you?
— I'm fine.
— Great — Leigh replied, looking at the chart — You're about six weeks pregnant, right?
— That's right.
— Okay. Well, did you drink the recommended amount of water?
— Yes.
— Perfect, if you could, lift up your shirt and pull your pants just down to your pubic bone, please.
As Cassie followed the ultrasound technician's instructions, there was another knock at the door and the medical assistant reentered the room, her eyes meeting Cassie's.
— Miss Aldersey, there's a gentleman at reception saying he's here for your exam. Can I allow him in?
Cassie felt something warm inside her chest.
— Yes, you can — Cassie replied, smiling.
The woman nodded and left the room. A few minutes later, a familiar face with an embarrassed smile appeared in the doorway.
— Excuse me — Toto said, entering the room — Sorry I'm late.
— No problem, we’re just starting the exam. I assume you are the child's father, right?
— That's right — he replied, stopping beside Cassie and taking her hand, bringing it to his lips to press a soft kiss to her fingers. Then he whispered an apology, which she responded to with a smile. What mattered was that he was there, with her.
— Well, shall we begin? — the technician asked, receiving a nod from the two. Putting some gel on Cassie's stomach, Leigh placed the transducer on her skin, pressing her abdomen lightly. After pushing a few buttons, she smiled, turning the screen towards them — Ah, there we go. Here's your baby.
Cassie stared at the screen, and felt a little confused. It wasn’t as if she was expecting to see a fully-formed infant at just under two months pregnant, but she was expecting something closer to the drawings of embryos she’s seen online, not a white blob on a black background.
— Where? — asked Toto. When Cassie glanced at his expression, he looked confused, with one eyebrow raised as he stared at the screen.
— Here — the woman pointed, smiling.
— This little ball? — he asked.
— Well, yes. I don’t think angle is doing us any favors, let me try again — Leigh said, moving the transducer across Cassie's belly until she located the embryo again, which looked like an elongated white spot with no definition — Yeah, that's the best I can do at the moment, considering the gestational age. But I think I can pick up the heartbeats…
Pressing another button, the sound of heartbeats filled the room, fast and rhythmic. It was proof they needed to make sure they had succeeded.
A squeeze on her hand made Cassie look at Toto again. He was staring at the screen, enchanted, a goofy smile on his lips. He looked down at her, their eyes meeting, and he bent down to place a delicate kiss on her forehead.
— Heart rate is as expected for gestational age. You can also see that the little body is forming — Leigh said as she moved the transducer, looking for another angle. Then, she pointed to another spot on the screen — You can see here where the umbilical cord is connected to the placenta, which gives the baby all of its nutrients.
— Does everything look good? — asked Toto.
— So far, I think. Your obstetrician will get the images and will be able to tell you for sure — the technician replied.
— And the sex, can you tell?
The woman smiled.
— Not yet, that only starts to be visible around the third or fourth month of pregnancy — Leigh said, removing the transducer from Cassie's belly and placing it back on its cradle. She took a few sheets of paper wipes out of a box and swiped them over Cassie’s belly to wipe the gel off of her skin — For now, I have all the pictures I need. I will be issuing the report and sending it directly to your doctor.
— Perfect — she replied, smiling.
— Would you be able to give us copies of the pictures? — asked Toto — We'd like to have it for the memories.
The technician smiled.
— Of course
 — Great — he said, as he met Cassie’s smiling gaze.
— Go ahead and finish wiping yourself off, and I will have them waiting for you at check-out — Leigh said, offering Cassie a few more wipes to take care of the residue still on her skin. As the woman left the exam room, she finished wiping her stomach off while she was propped up on one elbow, trying to ensure that none of the gel was left on her belly. After a few seconds of silence, she heard some sniffling.
— Toto? — she said, looking at him. He was sitting in an armchair next to the exam table, his head resting on the palms of his hands. When he looked up, his eyes were shining.
— Yeah? — he said in a choked voice.
— Are you crying? — Cassie asked, sitting up on the gurney.
Toto rubbed a hand over his eyes, wiping away the tears.
— Yes, I am.
— Why?
He stood up from his chair and grasped one of Cassie’s hands again.
— Because I'm going to be a father, Cassie. It's real. It is no longer a dream. There's someone growing inside you. And after seeing so many people with their own children, knowing that mine… ours, I mean, is on the way fills me with a joy so great that I can't describe it. I can only — his voice cracked, his eyes filling with tears again. The sight of him getting emotional made Cassie emotional as well.
— I know — Cassie murmured, bringing her hand to his face, her thumb stroking his skin tenderly — I understand you perfectly.
He grasped the hand that was touching his face, stroking the back of her hand.
— Thank you — Toto whispered, pulling her hand away to place a tender kiss on her palm, sending a shiver through Cassie's body.
She felt the same shiver as she walked into Toto’s kitchen when she saw the ultrasound stuck to the door of his refrigerator. Toto seemed to notice that her eyes were glued to the picture, where it was surrounded with pictures of his family and a calendar — Did you like it?
— You put the ultrasound photo on the fridge?
— Of course. It's the first picture we have of the baby, I thought it was fitting. In fact, I intend to fill the refrigerator with pictures of our baby, until I can’t fit any more — he said, sighing softly — I never thought I'd be able to feel this someday, Cassie...
— What?
— Happiness. Well, this particular kind of happiness. I feel like I could explode at any moment — Toto replied, chuckling — And it's almost overwhelming to think that this is only just the beginning.
His words were bittersweet. While Cassie was happy knowing that she could make him so happy, there was something sad at the core of it — there was a limit to how happy she would be able to make him. She could only give him a child to co-parent with her, she couldn’t give him the security of a partnership, of love, and she couldn’t take that for herself. He’d said so at the solicitors’ office. She briefly pondered the kinds of love from ancient Greek philosophy. All she could offer him was philia, the love of friendship, and storge, the love of a child. She couldn’t offer him the eros that she felt for him.
It hurt.
Forcing a smile, Cassie sat down on one of the benches at the kitchen island, still feeling a little wistful. Toto was just finishing dinner, stretching up to take plates out of a cabinet.
— First of all — Toto said, as he served Cassie her plate of roasted chicken and assorted vegetables, a mixture of tomatoes, peppers, potatoes, onions, and broccoli — I wanted to discuss something important with you, now that things are becoming, I guess, real.
— Yes? — Cassie said, spearing a potato with her fork, but waiting to take a bite. A touch of anxiety started brewing in the pit of her stomach at the words “discuss something important”.
— I’ve just been doing a lot of reading since we found out — Toto said, looking at his plate — About pregnancy, parenting blogs, those sorts of things. There’s even sections for fathers-to-be, which is wonderful, but, anyway… From what I’ve read, a lot of women, when they start showing, sometimes have people, including strangers, touching them… You know, their bellies, in the later stages of their pregnancy, sort of in an uninvited, unwanted way, and a lot of them say they don’t want to say anything so they don’t seem rude, or something. As I would imagine, it’s apparently uncomfortable, and kind of humiliating…
Toto sighed deeply, and raised his eyes to look directly into Cassie’s.
— Please, please tell me if you don’t want me to, you know, touch your belly, or anything else, especially when you start showing. I would hate to assume too much and make you uncomfortable.
Cassie could feel herself blanch momentarily. She certainly wasn’t expecting this discussion to come up, but she didn’t even need to think before responding.
She could not even begin to imagine a scenario where she would object to Toto Wolff touching her, in any way. How could she say no when his touches were so warm and gentle, and brought her comfort through so many unpleasant moments in the past few months? Through the uncomfortable procedures and pain? Through crushing lows and soaring highs? How could she dislike the way his touches sent immediate tingles down her spine? He’d been there when she needed someone to hold her hand. He’d been there the whole time, pressing soft kisses to the crown of her head, putting a hand on her shoulder or the small of her back to ground her and soothe her. Not to mention, other things…
— Toto, I don’t mind. Really. It’s your child, too.
— Yes, but it’s still your body, even if you’re carrying my child. You being pregnant with our child doesn’t mean you don’t deserve your, um… What's the word in English… I think it’s the same in German — he muttered — Um, autonomy? Does that sound right? I think that’s what I mean. And your privacy. And I wasn’t sure, given that we’re not…
— Toto — Cassie said, trying to cut him off before he could finish that statement— It’s fine. You’re not some random stranger in a shop, you’re the baby’s father. I won’t mind.
A soft smile spread over his features, and Cassie couldn’t help but think he looked a little relieved.
— Well, promise me that you will tell me if you ever change your mind, or need some privacy or some space. I promised to take care of you, and making sure you’re as comfortable as possible is part of that.
— I really don’t foresee it being an issue — Cassie said. She noted his expression turned back to a slight frown, and then added — But, I will let you know. I promise.
— And let me know if anyone at work… Or anywhere, I guess, puts an uninvited hand on you, so I can take care of it. Personally.
Cassie giggled.
— I mean, you know I have no problem telling people at work exactly how I feel, but… I will. And, thank you.
As they ate, Cassie listened to him talk about how his mother had asked again for a grandson and he had to bite his tongue not to tell her the news.
— My matka is so looking forward to this happening that I'm sure she won't believe me when I tell her we're expecting a child. Even Ola couldn't believe it...
Cassie raised an eyebrow.
— Ola?
— Yeah… Ola is an executive from the Mercedes-Benz group, and a friend of mine.
— You told someone?
Toto immediately put down his fork and took her hand.
— I know we agreed not to tell anyone, but he came to a meeting at the factory the Monday after you told me and he noticed that I was happy and asked me why, and I ended up blurting it out. It wasn't on purpose, really. But, he was very receptive, Cassie, really…
— Toto, I don't…
— Ola is completely trustworthy, Cassie, he won't tell anyone.
— But — she tried to argue, to no avail.
— He even sent us things! Gifts!
Cassie blinked.
— What?
He smiled.
— Come with me. I wanted to show you this anyway, but I was going to wait, but now seems like as good of a time as any.
Rising from the table, Toto abandoned his plate and took Cassie’s hand, making her drop her fork on her plate. He led her through the foyer, up the stairs to the second floor. Then, after guiding her down the upstairs hallway, he stopped in front of a white door.
— Close your eyes.
— Toto...
— Please, Cassie.
She gave in to his request, closing her eyes. Then, hearing the door open and feeling his fingers come to rest on her waist, Cassie took a few steps forward, a little uncertainly, her senses piqued. She had no idea what to expect, being led blindly into a room in his house.
— Okay. Go ahead and open them.
Upon opening her eyes, Cassie realized she was in a room with white walls and light-colored carpet. It was completely emptied of furniture, and there were divots in the carpeting indicating where furniture used to be. It smelled distinctly of paint, and there were some drop cloths and brushes still scattered around the room. In the middle of the space, there was a gray and aqua green stroller, a car seat in the same color, as well as a diaper bag with the three-pointed star embroidered on it. Inside the stroller, there were a few plush toys — a bear wearing a Mercedes sweater, a red G-Wagen, and the Peter Rabbit toy that Toto had bought at the beginning of the IVF process.
It dawned on Cassie what this room was for. It was their child's room.
— Toto… Is this the nursery?
— Yes. I cleared it out last week, and I’ve been working on getting ready for decorating, whenever we decide what we want to do with it. Of course, I wanted you to have input on the process, and we will obviously need to get some things, but… Look — Toto said, pointing at the pile of gifts in the middle of the room — We already have a few things! Ola sent them last week. I know I should have waited, but I was so excited to assemble the cart that I made it the same day. And there's more things in the diaper bag, some bibs, some onesies… It’s all gender-neutral colors because we still don’t know what sex the baby will be, but it's all very beautiful, I'm sure we'll use it...
Cassie interrupted him by throwing herself into his arms, giving him a tight hug. Her face was wet with tears, a wave of emotions overwhelming her. Seeing the first ultrasound picture on Toto’s fridge had been one thing, but seeing a nursery in front of her, already filled with things for their baby, meant that things were real. Sometimes she had trouble convincing herself she was pregnant, but standing in the room that would become their nursery made it concrete.
Feeling Toto's arms wrap around her, she nestled her head on his chest. They stayed that way for a few moments, Toto holding Cassie as they swayed a little in the same spot, Toto rubbing his hand down her back to soothe her. She looked up into his eyes once she felt like she could bear it.
— Thank you for showing me this — she whispered.
— It's the least I could do, Cassie.
— I know, but you have no idea how much this means to me. It’s her… Or his… Bedroom. The baby has a space now. It’s happening.
— Yeah, it’s happening.
— It’s happening — she repeated — And it will be beautiful.

Nick having a relapse with his mental health
Super angsty, sad maybe some fluff at the end?
I hope you’re doing okay, if you need some to talk to hit me up.
Bad thoughts are bad times
Tumblr media
* English is not my first language I apologise
* Triggers; Swearing, Angst, Sad, Mental Illness, Mental health issues and a little bit of fluff
Y/N POV
Nick was out in vegas, going to the fight night. I was alone at his home in Lodi, watching the fights in my pyjamas in his bed, cuddling with his pillow as I was missing him. He was away for 3 weeks now and I hated it when he’s gone, leaving me alone for I don’t for how long. He always does this…
The fights were over and I texted him, that I hope he had a great night out and that I love him. After that I set myself alarm for in the morning and lay my phone away, trying to get some sleep.
Nick POV
The fight was over and I saw a text message from my girl. I smiled at it and sent her a heart emoji. “Who are you texting too?” Steve asks me as we both left the place. “My girl.” “Your girl huh?” I nodded and tucked my hands in my jacket. “I never met her, how’s she like?” I shrugged and laughed. “She’s uhh…great, understands my situation and shit.” He nods, trying to understand what I was saying. “She knows you’re here?” “Of course she does, she asks sometimes too many questions…” I sighed softly. “Maybe she does that because she cares?” “Maybe.”
I sat down at the bar with Steve, drinking some beer, watching some people dancing and chatting around. “Do you ever miss her, when you away for long?” He asks as I was looking in front of me, at a group of women who were dancing and laughing around. “Sometimes.” I answered and I saw him in the corner of my eyes nodding at my answer. “I bet she misses you too Nick.” ‘Maybe she does, maybe she doesn’t.’ I nodded and took a sip from my beer, my eyes never leaving those women.
I woke up in my hotel bed with a massive headache and a sore neck. “Fuck…” I rubbed my eyes and slowly turned over to reach for my phone. It’s 10 am and I have 2 texts from my girl. I smiled and opened them.
My love ❤️: good morning ❤️
My love ❤️: I miss you 🙈
Me: good morning beautiful ❤️
I ignored the I miss you text, of course I miss you so why would I text it back to you. I lay my phone down and got up, to get myself ready for breakfast with Steve.
Steve and I were sitting in the back of the restaurant, having some breakfast. “How did you sleep, good or?” I shook my head and rubbed my neck. “No, sore neck.” He smiles and points at himself. “Me too, woke up with back pain and a sore neck, we are getting old.” I laughed a bit and shook my head. “It’s since I had that surgery, it’s better now than it was before but it still needs to heal properly.” He nods as I was rambling about myself. “It’s for the better days right?” I nodded and drank my tea.
Y/N POV
I was renovating Nicks house today with my dad and my brother. “Watch out will ya.” My dad says to me as my brother, pulls the rotten wood from the ceiling. “That’s a big chunk.” My brother says as he throws it in the container. “Good pull.” I complemented him. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and snapped a picture and send it to Nick, telling him that we are now busy with his kitchen. He knows about this, I asked him to renovate his old house in Lodi and he said sure. He wants to go back to Lodi but ever since he tasted that luxury and secured life in Vegas…he has some troubles to live here. So I thought what if I renovate the place and make it more secured for him. “Y/n care to help?” My dad asks me as he hands me over a the big hammer. “Just smash everything up in pieces.” My face lits up and I walked over to the kitchen. “Everything?” “Everything.”
I was tired after a whole day of smashing things and throwing them away in the container. My legs and arms hurt as I was laying in the bathtub, trying to relax as tomorrow was another day of renovating the kitchen. “If he doesn’t appreciate this then we have a big problem…” I moved over to the edge and grabbed my phone, looking is he already texted me back about that picture from this morning. Nothing, he didn’t even read it.
Me: my muscles hurt… but my dad said the kitchen will be finished by next week.
Me: I hope everything is going good with Steve?
Me: I love you ❤️
These moments with Nick are difficult, him being so distant from me and I don’t want him to think I’m annoying him or ignoring him, it can go both ways. I always tell him I love you and I always text him 3 times a day, just making sure that he knows I think of him. I sighed and got slowly out of the bathtub, drying myself off and pulled his sweater over my head, his smell filled my nostrils and I immediately felt save but also a bit sad. ‘I miss him…’
—— 2 weeks later ——
The kitchen was completely done and we started to renovate his garage. “Watch out!” My brother yells as a wooden plank falls down. “What the fuck!” My dad yells and shot him angry glare. “It slipped out of my hands, I’m sorry.” He says as he stands on the ladder. I picked up the wooden plank and walked away with it to throw it away in the container. I lifted over my head and thrown it in. As I walked back from the backyard back to the front I saw Nick, standing with my dad. Looking at the garage. I immediately smiled and walked over. “Hi.” I said happily and he turns around to look at me. “Hey baby.” He says and I gave him a hug. “I didn’t know you were coming today.” “Surprise.” He says, I smiled at him and kissed his cheek, he moved a bit away as my lips touched his cheek. ‘Weird.’ He lets me go, turning back to my father. “It looks good.” He says and I felt a bit neglected but I shoved that feeling away, trying not to make him upset with me. I walked over to my brother who saw what happened. “You guys okay?” He whispers. I nodded and put on a fake smile. “He’s probably tired.” My brother slowly nods but didn’t believe me. “Okay if you say so.”
My dad and my brother went home and I was lying on the sofa, feeling sore from all the heavy lifting. “How was it with Steve?” I asks him, he was watching the tv. “Good.” He answers without looking over at me. “I’m glad you had a good time.” I stood up, already knowing what conversation this was going to be, a one sided one. “I’m going upstairs, you know where I am when you need me.” I said and as he didn’t react I walked away, feeling like a fool.
I softly cried in bed and thought about our relationship. ‘I’m always the person who starts the conversation….he never asks me questions or anything.’ I wiped my eyes as tears still fell down my cheeks. ‘Ugh why am I even crying over this.’ I turned around to lay on my side, my back facing the door. ‘I’m way too good for him…’ I heard the door open and I froze, faking that I was already asleep. I heard him shuffling around our room and eventually he climbs into the bed and makes his way over to me, cuddling me. I stayed quiet, not ready for a fight about why I’m crying. “I love you.” He whispers and kissed my shoulder. ‘Don’t give in, don’t do it.’ His fingers traveled over my arm and my hip till he fell asleep. I stayed awake for about an hour, thinking about us as tears started to fall again.
Nick pov
I woke up and saw she was still sleeping in my arms, her face pressed against my chest. ‘She’s been crying…’ her skin around her eyes were red and some tears dried up, her lips were red and puffy as she’s been biting on her lips. ‘Why did she cried last night?’ I softly ran my fingers over her cheeks, carefully scraping the dried up tears off her skin. She slightly moves and whines softly as I wiped her hair out from her face. “Sorry baby.” I whispered at her, she nuzzles her head against my chest and slowly opens her eyes and looks up at me. “Nick.” She tiredly says. “Yeah I’m here.” She smiles and hugs me. “I’m happy you’re back.” ‘Me too baby.’ I rubbed her back and stayed quiet, just enjoying the quietness as my mind was racing around about everything.
She was in the kitchen making some breakfast as I was in the garage, looking at the work they’ve done the last couple of days. ‘She’s doing too much….I don’t deserve this…’ “Nick? Your food is ready.” She calls me and I snapped out of my thoughts. “Yeah…I’m coming.” I took a few deep breaths and walked back to the kitchen. She looks so beautiful in my hoodie, so cute. “Here you go.” She hands me my plate and I took it from her. “Thanks.” I sat down and watched her moving around the kitchen. ‘She’s way too good for me.’ I stared at her and I slowly drifted away from reality as my dark thoughts were filling up my mind.
“Nick?” I snapped out of my trance and looked at her. She looked a bit worried and slightly smiled at me. “You didn’t listen, didn’t you?” ‘Sorry.’ I stayed quiet as the darkness was slowly disappearing from my mind and she slightly sighs. “It’s okay, it wasn’t important.” ‘No tell me…’ she sadly smiles at me and walks off, leaving me alone. ‘Fuck! She’s upset now.’ I quickly stood up and followed her. “Don’t be like this.” I said to her, she looks hurt and tired. “Like what? That I show interest in you? That I actually care….do you even care about me?” ‘Of course!’ “Don’t play the fucking victim, you always do this.” I was getting frustrated as my two worlds in my mind start to collide. “I’m not a……okay, sorry I make you feel like this Nick. It’s me isn’t it, it’s me who makes you behave like this.” Her eyes swelled up and she looks at her hands, playing with her engagement ring. “If it’s really me then maybe it’s better for us to….” Her voice broke and I immediately knew what she wanted to say. ‘No don’t you fucking dare!’ She shook her head. “I love you Nick but I don’t want a one side relationship…” “you’re breaking up with me?” I immediately asks. She stayed quiet and I lost my temper.
Y/N POV
I was heartbroken and I didn’t want to do this but he clearly doesn’t care till now. As he swears and yells things I don’t even understand. “No, no you won’t do this to us y/n, I do so much for you and you do this?!” He raises his hands and I flinched, not thinking he would hit me but more of the emotions that were exploding through my body. He became quiet and looked at me, his eyes slowly filled with tears and his lip started to tremble. He aggressively rubbed his eyes and let out a small sob. “I’m sorry….I-I don’t want you to leave me…” I said nothing and walked over to him, he looks so broken and scared. “I don’t want to leave either.” I whispered to him as I wrapped my arms around him, he immediately buried his face in my shoulder. “I’m so sorry baby, I’m…” I shook my head . “you don’t need to apologise, I know.” I started to cry as well and held him tightly, afraid he would disappear if I didn’t. We both cried in each other’s arms and he carefully walked us carefully over to the sofa, pulling me on top of him as I hugged him tightly.
We both stopped with crying and I went with my hand through his hair, admiring him. His large hands caressed my back as he was looking at me. “I’m not okay…” he says with a hoarse voice. I sadly smiled at him. “We will get through this together.” He nods and moves his hands to my face, rubbing my cheeks softly. “I’m an idiot for making you cry….you are so beautiful baby.” He pulls me closer and places a soft loving kiss on my lips. “You’re mine idiot.” I joked and kissed him back. I felt him smiling against my lips. “I’m happy to be your idiot.” He jokes back and I pecked his cheek. “I love you Nick.” He smiles lovingly and rubs my cheeks again. “I love you so much baby.” We both stayed cuddled each other for the rest of the day, making it up to each other.

I have nothing if I don't have you
(Chapter 3)
Ting...tong!
The sound of the doorbell succeeded in waking Kakashi from his sleep, while the sound of the alarm clock beside his bed failed. Why? Because only Tenzo rings the doorbell this early, and that means.... it's 7 o'clock!!!!
"7 o'clock?! Oh nooooo...I'm late..." Kakashi covered his face with both hands.
He then forced himself to get up and immediately went downstairs to open the door.
"Morning, sir!" Tenzo's greeting was cheerful and enthusiastic as usual.
"Morning, Tenzo...please...come in...and...do your work..." Kakashi was still trying to gather his consciousness. "I'm already late...so...just start to do your work..." kakashi turned around and rushed upstairs to get ready.
Tenzo blinked for a moment to digest the situation. Usually when he arrived, Kakashi was already dressed neatly and ready to go to the office, but now he was still wearing his pajamas.
"No problem, sir..." said Tenzo as he entered and closed the front door, then walked towards the kitchen.
This is all because last night Kakashi had to work overtime preparing materials for today's meeting. Today there will be a big meeting of all divisions to discuss government building renovation projects. Konoha Corp will compete with several other development companies to win the tender for who will renovate the building. This project will bring big profits to the company that wins the tender, so Konoha Corp doesn't want to fail.
Kakashi showered and got dressed as quickly as he could. Then put the laptop and all the required documents into the bag, and ran down the stairs. When he open the front door...
"Excuse me, sir..." said Tenzo.
Kakashi turned his head "yes?"
"I made this for you, just in case you didn't have time for breakfast, sir.." Tenzo held out both hands. His right hand holds a bento box and his left hand holds a thermos filled with hot coffee.
"Oh... thank you... I appreciate that, but actually you don't have to..." Kakashi was surprised.
"No problem, sir... I also make the same bento for the kids..." Tenzo smiled. "Umm...I'm sorry sir, but I think your tie needs to be straightened..."
"Oh?" Kakashi tried to look at his tie which turned out to be crooked, probably because he had been in a hurry, but his hands were full.
"May I, sir?" Tenzo asked, offering to help.
"Oh...yes please..." answered Kakashi.
Tenzo then came closer and straightened Kakashi's tie and shirt collar.
"Well, it's better now, sir. And good luck for today!" Tenzo clenched his right fist while smiling.
"Oh...thank you... Well...I have to go now...so...see you..." kakashi opened the door, got out, and closed it. He took a breath and exhaled. A feeling of comfort emerged in his heart. He then walked towards his car feeling much calmer, doesn't know where the feeling of panic and rush gone.
45 minutes later Tenzo, Sakura, Sai and Naruto were already on the front terrace.
"Hurry uuuuup Narutooooo!!! We're all going to be late just because you took too long to tie your shoes!!!" Sakura said while smacking Naruto's head.
"...I'm trying..."
"It's okay Sakura, we still have time. You can do it, Naruto!" Tenzo said.
Five minutes later Naruto finished tying his shoes and they all rushed to school. As soon as the car driven by Tenzo arrived at the school parking lot, Sakura immediately got out and ran to her class, as did Sai.
"Wait Sai! You left your sketchbook..." Tenzo got out of the car and handed the sketchbook to Sai. "Have a nice day, sai!" Tenzo said with a smile. Sai just accepted his sketchbook then turned towards class without saying anything and without expression.
After that, Tenzo returned to the car and helped Naruto unfasten his seat belt.
"Naruto..."
"Hmm?"
"Before you get out of the car, I want to play with you for a while..." said Tenzo.
"Play???" Naruto was surprised.
"Yes. A role play."
"A role play???" Naruto looked confused.
"Listen, when next time your friends make fun of you again, say this sentence that I will teach you. If they call you an 'orphan', just tell them 'No problem. I'm okay with that' and give them your best smile, then leave them. You got that?"
"Ummm...okay...."
"Great! Now we're gonna play the role. I'll be your friend and you'll be you. Ready?"
"Yep!"
Tenzo cleared his throat, "Orphaaan! Orphaaan! Hahaha...". Tenzo said with the exact expression Naruto's friends did yesterday.
"No problem. I'm okay with that," said Naruto then smiled until his eyes narrowed.
"Great job! From the first time I saw you, I knew that you were a very smart boy."
"Am I???"
"Sure. Give me a high five!" Naruto then patted Tenzo's right hand.
"Now go to your class with a giant spirit like you will conquer the world in front of you. Go!"
"Okay! See you, tenzooo!" Naruto ran towards his class feeling happy and full of enthusiasm.
Tenzo looked at Naruto with a smile, then got into the car. He deliberately didn't wait on the bench in the yard like yesterday to teach Naruto to be brave.
Meanwhile...
Kakashi arrived in his room. He put down the documents, bag, as well as the bento box and thermos from Tenzo. He sat down and looked at his watch. There are still 10 minutes before the meeting starts. Kakashi decided to open the thermos. As soon as it was opened, the fragrant aroma of coffee immediately came out and blended with the air around Kakashi. Kakashi poured the coffee into the thermos lid and took a sip.
"Really delicious..." Kakashi thought as he closed his eyes, enjoying his coffee. The coffee that Tenzo makes is definitely the same sachet coffee that Kakashi makes every day. But why does this one taste so much better? Kakashi wondered to himself. He felt much fresher now.
To be honest, he felt a bit awkward when Tenzo approached him and fixed his tie. But...it feels like there is another feeling too. He felt....happy, but also strange... because it felt like it had been a long time since he felt like that... He himself didn't know why that feeling came up again...
Kakashi then finished the coffee he had poured them losed the thermos of coffee again. Now his attention was focused on the bento box. Actually, Kakashi was curious to open it, but the meeting would start soon. He had to immediately go to the meeting room. So he decided to open and eat his bento during his lunch break. He took the laptop and the required documents. Then walk out of the room in a good mood and full of enthusiasm.
Two hours later...
Naruto's school bell rang. A sign that it's time for Naruto and his friends to go home. As usual, other parents had also arrived at the yard to pick up their children. And as usual, Naruto's friends made fun of him....again.
"See you tomorrow, poor orphan...hahahaha..." exclaimed one of them, which was followed by laughter from the others. Naruto stopped walking. His hands gripped tightly. He took a deep breath, then exhaled, and turned around to face the friends who had mocked him earlier.
"No problem. I am okay with being an orphan. See you tomorrow!" Naruto said while smiling and turning around and walking again cheerfully. His friends stared. They didn't expect Naruto would say that.
Tenzo waited next the car. Naruto saw him then ran and immediately hugged Tenzo. Tenzo hugged Naruto and spun him around, until Naruto laughed.
After he was satisfied spinning and laughing, Tenzo put Naruto down.
"How about we go to the ice cream shop now? I still owe you because I lost the room tidying competition yesterday..." asked Tenzo.
"Let's goooooo!!!!" replied Naruto
Back to Konoha Corp headquarter.
The meeting was temporarily stopped because it was already lunch time. Meeting participants leave the room to take a break. Including Kakashi. He walked towards the elevator to return to his room. Suddenly someone took his right arm...
"Kakashi, how about we have lunch together?"
"Oh... Anko..." Kakashi was surprised. "I am sorry, but I will have lunch in my room, because I brought a bento..." said Kakashi.
"Be...bento? Since when do you bring bento to the office???"
Kakashi just smiled and got into the elevator.
Not long after, Kakashi was sitting in front of his desk. Then opened the bento box from Tenzo. Kakashi was surprised. Inside there is rice molded into a heart, tamago, chicken katsu, and fresh salad.
"Holly...molly....what am I seeing now?" Said Genma who was standing in the doorway.
"Kakashi and bento??? That's a strangest thing I saw today..." said gai next to him.
"What's wrong? Am I not allowed to eat bento?" Kakashi asked.
"Of course no..." Gai said as he walked in. "But the last time I saw you and bento was when we were still in the same class in Kindergaten..." he said, laughing.
"Yeah...me too. We three were in the same class, right?" Add genma. "Hey...look at the rice...very cute heart rice...I don't know that you are so cute, kakashi..."
"I didn't make it. The nanny did..." Kakashi said casually.
"Wait...what? The new nanny made that bento for you???" Gai asked. Kakashi nodded.
"Ooo-M-G.....I can smell looove in the air...." said Genma.
Kakashi was just about to respond to his two mischievous friends when suddenly another voice came from the door.
"What love?" Apparently it's Anko, again. He entered Kakashi's room holding a bento box too. "Can I eat here with you, kakashi?"
"Oh...sure...please..." said kakashi.
Anko sat opposite Kakashi. "You two? What are you doing here?" Anko asked Genma and Gai.
"Oh...um...we're going to have lunch too..." Genma answered, elbowing Gai.
"Eh...yeah, that's right...so we'll go first..." Gai answered as he left the room with Genma.
"I think those two always act strangely. Isn't that right?" Anko asked.
Kakashi just chuckled as he started eating his bento. He picked up the tamago with chopsticks and put it in his mouth, then chewed it. Delicious... thought Kakashi. Then he tried the chicken katsu. This is also delicious....very delicious....he thought.
"....Kakashi!" Called Anko in a slightly loud tone.
Kakashi realized "Oh...what's wrong?"
"You didn't listen to me, did you?"
"Oh... sorry Anko... just... what did you say?"
"Because I heard you brought a bento, I wanted to have a bento lunch too. So I bought it at the minimarket near the office. It tastes pretty good..." said Anko while chewing her ebi katsu. "Where did you buy that bento?"
"Oh, I didn't buy it..."
"You cook yourself????"
"Of course not... This morning my children's nanny made this bento and gave it to me, because this morning I didn't have time for breakfast..."
"Oh I see. Is it delicious?
"This is...special" answered Kakashi steadily.
Spontaneously, feelings of jealousy emerged in Anko's heart. "Umm...that nanny...is she a middle-aged woman?"
"Umm...actually..." before Kakashi could answer, suddenly Gai and Genma appeared at the door.
"Hi...now we also bring bento. Can we join?" Genma asked and Gai cheerfully asked.
Anko immediately lost her appetite.
Back to school...
"Give me back my sketchbook..." said Sai while trying to escape from the grip of his two friends.
"You mean this ugly book?" Kabuto said which was followed by laughter from his two friends who were holding the sai.
"Give it back..." said Sai.
"Hmm...what do I do? Let me think first whether I will return this ugly book to you...or not..." said Kabuto. He then dropped Sai's sketchbook...stomped on it while laughing with satisfaction...
Sai was shocked "Don't....." he said helplessly.
Suddenly Kabuto was pushed by someone and fell.
"Don't do that to my brother!" Sakura shouted angrily.
"Youuu!!!" Kabuto said annoyed, then gave a code to his two friends. His two friends pushed the sai until he fell, then approached Sakura and grabbed her hands.
"What do you want?!!" Sakura struggled, trying to get rid of the grip.
"You noisy big forehead! Acting like a hero! How dare you push me!" Kabuto raised his right hand to slap Sakura. Suddenly a hand grabbed Kabuto's right hand, very strong. Kabuto turned his head.
"Years of studying at an expensive school just for this? How embarrassing..." said Tenzo.
"Who are you? Let go of my hand! Don't interfere!" Kabuto shouted annoyed.
"You don't need to know who I am. What you and your two friends need to know is that what you did to Sai and Sakura was a bad thing. So now, quickly kneel down and apologize to Sai and Sakura, return Sai's sketchbook, and promise them that you guys won't do it again. Oh, one more thing, you also have to buy Sai a new sketchbook because you stepped on it earlier..." said Tenzo.
"Fussy!!! Just go to hell!" Kabuto said.
Tenzo exhaled "Alright then..."
A few moments later, Kabuto and his two friends were slumped helplessly on the floor.
"Okay...time to say sorry, guys..." said Tenzo while clapping his hands together.
"Sorr..sorry...sai...sakura..." said Kabuto and his two friends.
"And promise you won't do it again!" Tenzo said firmly.
"We...we...promise not to do that again...to you..." Kabuto said while holding back the pain.
"Now return Sai's sketch book!"
Kabuto got up, then took Sai's sketchbook, and gave it to Sai.
"Good job. By the way, I have recorded your behavior earlier, so if you repeat your actions again, then I will give the recording to the principal or spread it to social media. And you will become famous and expelled from school. Do I make myself clear?" Tenzo said casually.
Kabuto and his two friends nodded in resignation.
"Good. Sakura, sai, let's go home. Naruto is waiting for us in the car." said Tenzo smiling. Meanwhile Sakura and Sai were still gawking, not believing that Tenzo could easily paralyze Kabuto and his friends.
When they got home, Tenzo compressed Sai's arm which was bruised from the grip of Kabuto's friends.
"Does it still hurt?" Tenzo asked. Sai shook his head.
"Okay. Wait here a second. I'll make you something..." Tenzo stood up and walked out of Sai's room. Not long after, Tenzo came carrying a mug.
"I make a hot chocolate. It will make you so much better. Try it." Tenzo said while thrusting the mug towards Sai. Sai accepted it and hesitantly drank it.
"How is it? Good?" Tenzo asked.
Sai nodded. "Thanks..." he said.
Tenzo smiled.
"I mean...thanks a lot...for...saving me...and sakura..."
"No problem..." answered Tenzo. "So, may I know, since when do you like drawing, Sai? Tenzo asked while looking at Sai's drawings that were stuck on the wall of his room.
"Since I could hold a pencil..." Sai answered.
"Really? Amazing! I've always been the weakest in drawing lessons. In fact, every time I see my drawings, my sister always says, 'Even kindergarten kids can draw better than you, Tenzo.'" said Tenzo, shaking his head and putting his hands on his hips, imitating his sister's style.
Sai laughed looking at Tenzo. Meanwhile, Tenzo just stared.
"Um...what's wrong?" Sai asked.
"Wow... this is the first time I've seen you laugh, Sai. It turns out you're 1000 times more handsome when you laugh..." said Tenzo. Sai's face immediately turned red and he became embarrassed.
"By the way tenzo, may I ask you something?"
"Sure.."
"In your opinion, what is something simple but beautiful?"
"Why did you ask me that?"
"Today I got a drawing assignment with a simple but beautiful theme. But I haven't found an idea..."
"Um....something that simple but beautiful...let me think....Ah, I know!"
"What is that?"
"Sunset!"
"Why sunset?"
"Because in my hometown I live near the beach, so every afternoon I can see how a large orange circle slowly seems to enter the sea surface... Believe me, the view is veeery beautiful."
Sai is fascinated by Tenzo's story. "Actually, I've never seen a sunset myself. But that's okay, I'll imagine it and draw it."
"Good! Is there anything else I can help you?"
"No. Thanks, Tenzo..."
"Anytime, Sai..." said Tenzo smiling. "I think now I have to see Sakura..." Tenzo got up and walked out of Sai's room.
When approaching Sakura's room, Tenzo heard a sound...crying... The door to Sakura's room was slightly open. Tenzo tapped it lightly.
"Sakura...are you okay?"
Sakura was indeed crying. She quickly wiped her tears so it wouldn't be seen by Tenzo.
"Are you crying?"
Sakura was silent, did not answer. Tenzo walked over to Sakura who was sitting on her bed and knelt in front of her.
"What happened? Are you hurt?"
Sakura was still silent.
"It's okay...you can talk to me..." said Tenzo softly.
"Am I...ugly, tenzo?"
"What? Why do you ask like that?
"Because...my forehead..."
"Your forehead? Nothing's wrong with your forehead, sakura.."
"But Kabuto call me bigforehead... And not only him, other kids at school always make fun of my forehead, they always say that it's super wide then they laugh... Sasuke also laughs..."
"Sasuke?"
"My classmate...honestly...I like him...but today I saw he also laughed at me when the others made fun of my forehead..." Sakura looked down and sobbed...
Tenzo sighed, then held Sakura's shoulder. "Look at me, Sakura.."
Sakura raised her face.
"There are two wonderful women I've ever met in my life. First is my sister who gave all of her time, energy, and love raising me since I was born..." said Tenzo while wiping tears from sakura cheeks.
"And the second, is a beautiful young lady who is always honest, smart, so strong, and very brave protecting her brother..." said Tenzo while taking the ribbon on the table next to Sakura's bed. Tenzo put the ribbon on Sakura's head so it looked like a headband, then smoothed Sakura's bangs. "Well, that is the beautiful young lady..." said Tenzo as he moved to sit next to Sakura and pointed at the mirror in front of them.
Sakura looked at herself in the mirror. She has always covered her forehead with bangs. But the ribbon that Tenzo tied and the bangs that Tenzo tidied made Sakura look more beautiful.
"You don't have to hide that, sakura. No matter what they say, you are definitely beautiful. Because beauty doesn't come from physics. It comes from your heart. Physics will easily change. But your kind and brave heart will last forever, and that is the true beauty..." said Tenzo.
"But...Sasuke...."
"Never mind. I am sure that one day, the right person who truly accepts you and loves you just the way you are will come to you.." Tenzo smiled and put his right hand on Sakura's shoulder.
Slowly a smile appeared on Sakura's lips. "Thank you, Tenzo..."
"You're welcome."
That evening, after preparing dinner, Tenzo's cell phone rang. Kakashi called.
"Hello tenzo....I am affraid I will go home late, because the meeting hasn't finished yet...Would you mind waiting there until I arrived at home?"
"No problem sir..."
"I'm really sorry for making you go home late..."
"It's okay sir, I will take care of the kids..."
"Thanks, Tenzo..."
"Anytime, sir..."
So after the kids had dinner, Tenzo finished washing the dishes, Tenzo went into Naruto's room
"Okay Naruto, time to sleep..."
"Would you like to read a story to me, Tenzo?"
"Story?"
"Yes..." Naruto took some story books from his desk.
"Alright..." said Tenzo while sitting on Naruto's bed.
"I also want to hear the story..." said Sakura who was standing near Naruto's room door.
"Don't!" Naruto said. Sakura immediately pouted.
Tenzo laughed "It's okay Naruto. Come here, Sakura."
Sakura immediately sat next to Tenzo.
"Do you want to listen to the story too, Sai..." asked Tenzo. Sai also appeared with a reluctant expression.
"Come in..." said Tenzo. Sai came in and sat on Naruto's bed.
At 9 pm Kakashi arrived home. When he entered, there was no one downstairs. Kakashi put his bag and things on the sofa and went up to the second floor. He saw Sakura and Sai's room door open, but they were not in their room. Kakashi then went to Naruto's room where the door was half closed. He opened the door slowly and was surprised...
Tenzo sat leaning back in the middle of the bed, holding and hugging Naruto who was already asleep, while Sakura fell asleep on Tenzo's right side with her head resting on his shoulder, as did Sai on his left. The five story books that Tenzo had read were lying on the bed. Kakashi was truly surprised to see it, and touched at the same time. His kids had never been so close to nannies before.
Tenzo, who was half asleep, realized that someone had entered the room, and was surprised because it turned out to be Kakashi. Spontaneously he opened his eyes wide. Kakashi moved closer to the bed.
"It's okay. I will remove them..." said Kakashi. He then carried Sakura and moved her to her bed. Then carried Sai and moved him to his bed. Then turned on the light in their room and closed the door. When he returned to Naruto's room, he saw Tenzo laying Naruto on his bed and covering him with a blanket. Kakashi approached and turned off the lamp next to Naruto's bed. The two of them then left the room and went downstairs.
"Can I go home now, sir?"
"Sure you may. But I will take you home..."
"Oh...you don't need to do that, sir. I can go home by myself..."
"No, it's okay. I'll take you. This is also an apology for making you come home so late and a thank you for taking care of my kids... Please, let me drive you home..." said Kakashi.
"Alright then, sir..." answered Tenzo with a smile.
Half an hour later, Kakashi's car arrived in front of a coffee shop called Senju Cafe.
"You live here?" Kakashi asked.
"Yes sir. This is my aunt's cafe. I live here and I also work here on Saturdays and Sundays, when I'm not working at your house, sir..."
"Oh...I see. Umm...may I come here someday...taste the coffee here?"
"Of course you may, sir."
"Great! I will come."
"Thanks sir. I think I'm going to go inside, sir. Thank you so much for driving me home..." said Tenzo while nodding.
"No problem. I should be the one thanking you..."
"See you tomorrow, sir..." Tenzo got out of the car, closed the door, then bowed towards Kakashi. Kakashi nodded and started the car. From the rearview mirror, he could still see Tenzo standing there until the car turned.
While driving his car home, Kakashi thought. Even though at first he doubted Tenzo's abilities, now he feels that Tenzo's presence in his family brings many good things and warmth.
So far, the three children have never gotten along with the nannys. But tenzo is different. In a short time his three children became very close to him. The scene where Tenzo fell asleep while hugging Naruto, and Sakura and Sai who slept leaning against him was truly very impressive and touched Kakashi's heart.
Moreover, Tenzo is good at cooking, reliable, humble, and always cheerful. And honestly, he is quite pretty. His wide eyes, his beautiful brunet long hair, his smile, his smell, his voice,...
Wait...wait...it seems like another feeling emerged in Kakashi's heart. A feeling he hadn't felt in a long time. A feeling he had buried deep since Rin left. Could it be that what Genma said was true, that love is in the air now?
To be continued :)

Reincarnation Fic Idea - Part 2
Continuing from where we left off - because I still have ideas. The gang reluctantly decide to partner with Morgana if it means that they could find Arthur and bring him home. They come to the conclusion that best bet at finding Arthur would be starting off at Lake Avalon where he was resurrected. Just one problem.
Where is Lake Avalon?
Years have gone by, wars have happened, kingdoms have fallen with new ones to take their place, terrains have changed. They couldn’t even find Camelot if they tried. The only people who would know where to find Lake Avalon are the Druids and other people of magic - Morgana being a special case since she just had her magic reawakened from her memories. The world no longer knows of the existence of magic so they have to search for groups of magical people.
*the gang running for their lives*
Gwaine: Magical grenades?! Why do they have magical grenades?! Why can’t you give us magical grenades?!
Morgana: We didn’t have grenades 1500 years ago?! I can’t just wisk things up that’s not how magic works!
Lancelot: Merlin could probably do it *not being sassy just missing Merlin*
Gwaine: Well apparently Merlin could do it!
Morgana: I’m sorry I’m not on the same level as the most powerful sorcerer to ever walk the earth!
Elyan: Do you mind arguing about this later!
Gwen: Just focus on staying alive!
Gwaine: Princess better be real grateful for the shit he’s putting us through
Leon: Don’t be like that, Arthur is out there and wherever he is he must be going through hell!
Elyan: Well, thank god he’s not here! They would have sacrificed him by now!
*A glowing knife gets thrown between the group and lands on a tree infront of them. They all duck before it explodes into a hot white blast of magic*
Elyan: Seriously, why can’t we ever run into nice people with magic?!
Gwaine: *to Morgana* We had knives back in Camelot! Can you at least give us exploding magical knives!
Percival: *with a straight face* I’ll still take this over the cult
* gang dodging several magical grenades and fire arrows *
Gwaine: Merlin you beguiling bastard! Where are you when we need you!
Meanwhile at Merlin’s Farmhouse in a town of unorthodox druids - Druids that still practice magic but have integrated themselves into modern society, most of them are well-off if not wealthy.
*Arthur discussing something with two other druids while Merlin is falling asleep*
Arthur: Merlin!
Merlin: *being startled awake* Yes, yes, I’m up.
Arthur: I know you were up late working but I really need your full attention. These are very important decisions we’re making and you said we would do this together.
Merlin: *rubbing his eyes* Yes, I know, I know. Where were we again?
Arthur: We were looking over designs for the kitchen renovations. *Arthur takes a look over the pictures* I really like how spacious some of these are but out kitchen feels more homely I don’t want to get rid of that.
Druid 1 who is also an interior designer: I completely agree, I think it’s better to enhance your current look than give it a make over. Have a look at these.
Arthur: Oh, these are lovely. Merlin, what do you think? *turns to Merlin who is already asleep* Merlin!
Note: Arthur is in charge of renovations because he one gets to make decisions and two, gets to boss people around

This is interesting- it’s a very old 1795 southern style home in Thomson, Georgia, 4bds. 2ba., for $460K. However the home was sold for $330K in 5/22, and they stripped it down, remodeled in record time, and put it back on the market. So, we will be looking at the before & after photos.
Tumblr media
The exterior was already nice, but they painted the door blue and put out some matching chairs just to break up all the white.
Tumblr media
Before: Blue foyer w/wainscoting.
Tumblr media
After: Off-white shiplap. The beautiful ornate molding is gone, too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Stairs- painted to match the foyer, carpet runner removed, and newel posts painted white.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They did the opposite to the sitting room. It was a creamy color, and they made it blue. The wood moldings and windows have been painted white.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The kitchen redo- stripped the wallpaper, painted the walls white; painted the cabinets dark blueish gray; new appliances; open shelving; new tile floor; and I like how they moved the fridge and made a larger fireplace (should’ve given it a hearth, though).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Wallpaper stripped, pale green paint, and a yellow fireplace surround turned it into a bd.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tile replaced by shiplap. Looks like they flattened the wall and put in a small pedestal sink. Bath is the same, but white, new mirror, new floor tile. Baby diarrhea color on the wall.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
New floors, blue paint, new fireplace insert.
Tumblr media
Pretty latticed porch remained.
Tumblr media
They laid a cement parking pad.
Tumblr media
This is how the grounds look now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They removed all this from the gardens. There are many beautiful rooms they don’t show renovated, so if you want to see them, click on the link below:
