can we get a rundown on the anakin-raises-leia au? i’m totally in love with (read: obsessed with) it but i missed most of the context and i’m so curious!
are they coparenting? was it a parent trap style agreement to split the twins? is it temporary, until the war ends? who decided who gets which twin? did mustafar just never happen?
the answers to ur questions in short are: not really, arguably, absolutely, i did, and no!
in longer, the main thing you need to know for context is it's an Anakin-doesn't-turn-to-the-darkside-but-Palps-still-succeeds AU!
Anakin chooses not to try save Palpatine from the Jedi council and instead goes to Padmé's to angst abt the fact he might be losing her -- only to feel a very solid Other loss in the Force and see the temple up in flames ): he tries to go help but gets his shit kicked enough he leaves when Bail shows up
obi-wan and yoda both return to coruscant, obi-wan shows up to Padmé's to ask her hey do you know where Anakin is??? except Padmé's not there either bc after Sidious made his Big Speech anidala realised Anakin's totally a fugitive so they decided to Leave
i'm not 100% on what happens around here (lbr we all know my focus is the kids) but i'm currently thinking they nearly get caught or smthn, fight happens (??), Obi-wan gets there just in time to help thanks to Dormé snitching -- and Padmé goes into labour w the shock/stress
whatever exactly happens, Obi-Wan is there when they get Padmé to a medical station and the normal rots ending group unite. Padmé gives birth (keeping her will to live) and a question hangs heavy in the air: what are they supposed to do with the twins?
Anidala are too caught up in the joy of being parents to think about it, but they're quickly and forcibly snapped out of that when the Survivors all have a chat like canon. Yoda's the (brave) one to say they need to be apart because their force signatures would be too strong together and in the dire case Palps finds them, he could NOT take both. He's probs initially like they shouldnt even be kept w you two, Anakin's too powerful himself and Padmé you're too visible (while I imagine Bail and Obi-wan know their respective besties and are like king they are NOT gonna take that well)
and theyre right! Padmé, fresh out of like three of the top ten most harrowing experiences of her life, is like stfu u little green bitch im not losing my kids. but after some convincing she sees the need for her to remain in the senate and anakin's need to fight/run. she knows they can't fight the empire effectively together and she knows it's too dangerous to put the twins together. both parents want more than ANYTHING to be with their kids -- but they also don't want their kids growing up in a galaxy eaten by tyranny or being stolen by palps.
so they made the hardest goddamn decision of their lives and each take a twin (probably chosen on "anakin thought the baby'd be a girl/padme thought it'd be a boy" or smthn) and after some time planning their next moves, Padmé and Anakin are forced to go their separate ways to save the galaxy for and with their kids ): knowing the better they fight, the sooner they free the galaxy from the empire's clutches, the sooner they can reunite and be a family

------
You could describe the past couple of days as the most eventful days of your lifetime. You were kidnapped, hunted by bounty hunters, betrayed and taken by the empire, killed your first person, to then be saved by the man who betrayed you, to end it all with a major gunfight getting shot at before escaping. Yeah, you were open to a boring life after all this.
“Jeez, why are you so heavy-handed!” You shout out in pain as he drags the cloth against the wound. The bullet had only grazed your arm but it is the first and hopefully the only time you were shot so it hurt a lot.
“You’re lucky it only grazed you, what were you thinking joining in the fight?” He says scolding you like you were his child, he sprays the bacta spray making you wince in pain before he wraps a bandage around your arm. He moves from your arm putting a salve along your neck for the bruises.
“It’s not like you were winning, we only got off that planet because of the other Mandalorians.” You retort and he ignores you grabbing your leg your boot already off and looking at your ankle. It was swollen a gross red and purple. He slowly rotates it and you grab the chair to focus on something else and the ship shakes slightly making Mando pause. He wraps the bandages around your ankle before standing up.
“Looks sprained, be grateful you didn’t break it.” He says moving back to the main seat and seeing the child touching buttons making the ship shake more. He grabs him moving him to his lap, “Stop touching things.” He pushes buttons pulling the holomap before a planet appears and you read the name of the planet.
“Sorgan?” You question shifting your weight keeping your foot stretched out returned back in the boot. You hope this planet had no bounty hunters ready to kill you. What you needed are a warm meal and a hot shower.
“Looks like there's no starport, no industrial centers, no population density. Real backwater skug hole. Which means it's perfect for us.” Hearing the description of the planet makes you groan. Guess no hot shower on this planet. “You ready to lay low and stretch your legs for a couple of months, you little womp rat?” He says looking down at the child and glancing back at you.
“Who you calling womp rat?!” You say and he looks forward to setting the coordinates on the hyperdrive and traveling to the planet. Soon the planet appeared your eyes widened seeing the lush green of trees and grass and wide ponds of water, something you’d never seen before. Flying over them before Mando finds a clearing landing the ship. Turning off the engine he stands up turning to look at the two of you.
“Nobody's gonna find us here. Now listen. I'm gonna go out there and I'm gonna look around. It shouldn't take too long. Now, don't touch anything.” He says aiming at the child before looking at you, “And no tampering with the ship.” You raise your hands frowning. It was literally one time and you made it better. “I'll find us some lodging, then I'll come back for you. Just stay there. Don’t move.”
“Okay go already.” You say and he gives you a look before leaving the cockpit and you hear the ramp opening up. You look over at the child understanding the look he was giving. Mando walks down the ramp pausing looking back seeing you and looking down at his foot seeing the child clutching his boot. He sighs looking up at the sky.
“What the hell? Fine..come on.” He says grabbing the child and the three of you make your way. Your eyes are darting everywhere taking it all in. Your hand traces the tall trees feeling the rough bark and the softness of the tall grass as it flows in the wind. You’ve never seen anything so beautiful before.
“Stop dragging what’s got you like this?” Mando calls out looking back and seeing you trailing back a few feet looking at the most captivating flower. You look over at him with a look of awe in your eyes as you hobble over to him still taking in nature.
“I’ve never seen this much green before.” You say and Mando looks down at you. How could he forget, you came from a desert planet and have never traveled the galaxy, this all was new to you, with the planets, the people, everything. Following the wooden path until you reach a large building the smell of meat and spices filling your nose. Sitting at a table Mando situates the child in a children’s chair and a human worker comes over with a friendly smile on her face.
“Welcome, travelers. Can I interest you in anything?” She says,
“Bone broth, for the little one, and a regular broth for the girl.” He says pointing at the child and yourself.
“Oh, well, you're in luck. I just took down a grinjer, so there's plenty.” She nods writing it down, Can I interest you in a porringer of broth as well?”
Mando shakes his head “Just the two.” The woman nods and you look around the common house seeing in the corner a woman, she had black hair styled on one side wearing green armor. You see around her armor some sort of tattoo and it seems like Mando noticed her as well, “That one over there. When did she arrive?” He nods over to the woman and the waitress looks over.
“I've seen her here for the last week or so.” She says and Mando keeps looking, “What's her business here?”
“Business? Oh, well, there's not much business in Sorgan, so I can't say,” She hesitates to say before Mando pulls out a few extra credits to pay for the food and the information and the woman quickly accepts, “She doesn't strike me as a log runner. I will get that broth to you as soon as possible, and I will throw in a flagon of spotchka just for good measure.” She says stepping back, “I will be right back with that.” She walks away to get your food and you see Mando look back to keep eyeing the woman but she’s long gone. He stands up as the woman comes by with the food and drinks.
“Keep an eye on the kid.” He says to you before disappearing around the corner. You shrug taking a sip of your broth, the warm liquid soothing on your throat settling nicely in your stomach. This was step one in your plan next a nice relaxing shower…or maybe a hot spring. Does this planet do that? A few minutes had passed and you look at where Mando once sat and the other woman. He better not have gotten himself in a fight. Looking at the child you stand up pulling it from its seat still holding its broth.
“Come on let’s go find that idiot.” You say before quickly turning to grab the bottle of spotchka taking a swig of it. You instantly make a face the burn of the liquid making you gag. Maker, how did anyone like this stuff? Following the same way Mando had left you follow the path before you hear the sound of fighting coming from an alley. Turning down you see Mando and this random woman with their blaster pointed at each other both in a stalemate.
“Are you done?” You call out the two adults turning to look at you leaning against the wall and the child beside your feet sipping his broth. Mando sighs looking at the woman, “You want some soup?”
The four of you sat around the table with three bowls of broth in front of you all except Mando and the large bottle of spotchka that makes you shiver remembering the taste. “Saw most of my action mopping up after Endor. Mostly Ex-Imperial Warlords. They wanted it fast and quiet. They'd send us in on the drop ships. No support, just us. Then when the Imps were gone, the politics started. We were peacekeepers, protecting delegates, and suppressing riots. Not what I signed up for.” The woman who said her name was Carasynthia Dune but told you to call here Cara explains. You were surprised she was a part of the rebellion.
“I’ve heard so many stories about the rebellion, did you see the first Death Star blow-up, or was it the second one? Did you fly an X-Wing?! I heard that Luke Skywalker came from Tatooine where I’m from.” You ramble off before Mando gives you a look that has you quieting down and Cara smirks seeing the fascination on your face.
“How'd you end up here?” Mando asks and Cara takes a shot of the spotchka,
“Let's just call it an early retirement. Look, I knew you were Guild.” She says and you freeze hearing the mention of the guild.
“I figured you had a fob on me,” Mando says casually while you were silently panicking expecting this woman to grab you and the child and run off for her reward.
“That's why I came at you so hard.” Cara says and Mando nods “Yeah, that's what I figured.”
Cara finishes her broth before standing up and looking at the three of you, “Well, this has been a real treat, but unless you wanna go another round, one of us is gonna have to move on, and I was here first.” She says leaving through the main door and you look back at Mando to come up with the next plan.
“What do we do now?” You ask as Mando stays silent.
Moths fly over the lamp attracted to the only light source at night. Mando is working on repairing parts of the outside the Razor Crest, you sat beside a fire you created adding sticks every so often to keep the flames alive. The sound of engines grows louder and you look up pausing in your movement as two speeders appear before you. Mando seems to ignore them as two men climb off their bikes giving a nod in your direction as you watch them silently walk toward the bounty hunter.
“Excuse me…excuse me, sir..” One of them calls out to him and he speaks to them with his back to them continuing to fix his ship.
“There something I can help you with?” He asks and one of them nods slowly as Mando turns to face them,
“Uh, yeah. Raiders. We have money.” They say, seeking his service.
“So, you think I’m some kinda mercenary?” He asks and the two men look at him nervous to be around him.
“You are a Mandalorian, right? Or at least wearing Mandalorian armor.” One of them says pointing at his helmet the symbol of his creed, “That is Mandalorian armor, right.” Mando nods and the man turns to the other, “It is. See I told him.”
The other man speaks up, “Sir, I’ve read a lot about your people…tribe. If half of what I read is true…we have money.”
“How much?” He asks and the man looks desperate, “Everything we have, sir. Our whole harvest was stolen. Krill. We're krill farmers. We brew spotchka. Our whole village chipped in.” He holds out a bag filled with whatever credits were inside and it looked like a lot.
“It’s not enough.” He says walking past them and turning towards the fire adding more wood that you collected not liking the look of your fire as you watch the conversation.
“Are you sure? You don't even know what the job is.” The man begs and it seems he’s unwilling shaking his head,
“I know it's not enough. Good luck.” He says waving them off as you look at him surprised he was rejecting the money.
“This is everything we have. We’ll give you more after the next harvest.” They beg but Mando is final in his opinion. They sigh turning away, “Come on. Let's head back.”
The other man sighs getting onto his speeder bike, “Took us the whole day to get here. Now we have to ride back with no protection to the middle of nowhere.” Those words make Mando pause turning to face them.
“Where do you live?” He asks and the two look at him confused and slightly offended.
“On a farm. Weren't you listening? We're farmers.” One of them says
“In the middle of nowhere?”
“Yes.”
“You have lodging?”
“Yeah. Absolutely.”
Mando nods motioning the two men to the crates, “Good. Come up and help,” The two men hop off their speeders starting to aid having gained their help, “I'm gonna need one more thing. Give me those credits.”
Now joined with Cara you traveled with the humans toward their village. The child was in a bag resting on Mando as you four sat on the back of one of the speeders.
“So, we're basically running off a band of raiders for lunch money?” Cara says looking at the two peasants back to Mando.
“They're quartering us in the middle of nowhere.” He responds, “Last I checked, that's a pretty square deal for somebody in your position. Worst case scenario, you tune up your blaster. Best case, we're a deterrent. I can't imagine there's anything living in these trees that an ex-shock trooper couldn't handle.” He says as your travel to this new village begins. It was morning when you arrived at the village. You had quickly fallen asleep on the speeder and you woke up just before you arrived at the village. Looking at the people watching you all as you arrived at the many areas of the town as they get shouted out, “Everyone, they're here!”
The speeder stops and you all board off Mando gives you a hand so you don’t worsen your leg, “Looks like they’re happy to see us.”
“Looks like.” He nods looking at the people who quickly crowd you all, children younger than you run up looking at the child in interest as he makes some noises at them causing laughter from them.
“Hi. He's so cute.” “Aw!” Some of the children say before some of the older ones that look around your age help unpack the speeder. Looking at the kids your age you watch the way they carry themselves and interact with each other talking and joking with one another.
You follow Mando with the child into what looks like a barn, parts of it look cleared out probably prepared, a woman enters followed by a child who is clutching onto her hand, “I am Omera I hope this is comfortable for you. Sorry that all we have is the barn.” She says and Mando nods dropping his pack as the child wanders into the barn looking at the large baskets of what looks like krill.
“This will do fine,” Mando says and Omera points over to a corner that has blankets laid out,
“I stacked some blankets over here.” Poking from behind her legs is the small girl who glances at you all before hiding further behind her legs, “This is my daughter, Winta. We don't get a lot of visitors around here. She's not used to strangers. This nice man is going to help protect us from the bad ones.” She says picking up her daughter who mumbles a quiet thank you from her mother's neck. She smiles looking at you three, “Come on, Winta. Let’s give our guests some room.” The two leave as you situate yourself in the room. Mando had set up a sort of cradle for the child while you sat looking at your ankle, it still hurt to put a lot of pressure on it but you were able to walk around. What you needed was a shower or something to clean the dirt, sweat, and blood off you. You probably looked insane walking around like this. You push yourself up after pulling your boot on.
“I’m gonna go look around,” You say to Mando as you get ready to leave.
“Kid,” Mando calls out and you look back at him and you see he’s holding out his knife. You look at the knife and him in surprise, he was giving you his weapon, “Be careful. Don’t go too far out.” He says and you slowly take the blade tucking it in your belt and nodding. He dismisses you and you leave the barn just to see Omera and Winta coming over.
“Ah, we were just coming by to give some food..” She trails off never catching your name which you give. “Are you not going to eat Y/n?”
“I was actually wondering if you had a place to bathe just wanted to freshen up,” You ask and she nods pointing towards a building.
“My home you can use anything that you need, leave your clothes on the small chair and I’ll be sure to wash your clothes and have them ready for you when you are ready.” She says and you give your thanks before making your way toward her home. Entering her home seeing touches of her personality and thing that shows it was lived in especially with a child. You make your way into the room containing a large tub covered by a privacy stand, leaning over and turning the handle water pours begin to fill the room with steam. Thank the maker this planet had warm water. You strip off your clothes placing them on the chair that she must be talking about wrapping yourself in a towel. Peeling off the bandages around your arm and the ones on your face putting them aside. Dipping your hand in the water feeling it warm enough before setting the towel aside and stepping into the bath. The hot water makes you hiss slightly in pain but once you settle in you feel your muscle relax. Leaning back in the water you feel truly calm for once in the past few days. Though you weren’t dumb the knife Mando gave you rests right on the lip of the tub in case someone tries to pull something. After relaxing you dip your head under the water bringing yourself up and starting to clean yourself up. There were some natural soaps and creams you assume are homemade that you use to wash the dirt and grime off you and clean your hair. You’re extra careful around the wound on your arm it was still closing up due to the bacta spray but it had stopped bleeding which was good. The warm water felt nice on your ankle and soon the water began to chill and changed from clear water to cloudy with dirt and excess blood. Draining the water you step out wrapping the towel the smell of the soap is pleasant smelling like the trees and grass. Leaving the privacy curtain seeing your clothes moved now to the table looking clean and dry as well. How long were you in that bath? Getting dressed find a brush to get rid of the knots from your hair before you pull your boots on, tuck the knife into your belt, and leave Omera’s home. Stepping outside seeing the sun long set it now evening and you head towards the village center. Looking around at the people speaking to one another their children playing out in front of them. You spot Omera and Winta who seems to be playing with the child. She notices you as well waving you over, “I see you enjoyed the bath, you look more awake.” She says and you nod you definitely felt more awake and feeling better. You see her gaze move to your arm her eyes widening slightly.
“Your arm!” You look down seeing it bleeding just a bit, guess you were wrong about it healing well. You see her grab something from her bag beside her pulling out a bottle and some cloth. She pours the liquid on your skin and you wince slightly from the sting but you watch the wound bubble clean itself before she wraps the cloth around your arm making sure it is tight and secure. “There it should be better now, do you have any other injuries?” The cut on your cheek and temple had long healed by now with the bacta spray not as serious but other than your arm it was just your ankle.
“Just my ankle it was sprained but I’m keeping off it. Where’s Mando?” You say pointing at the foot that you were keeping your weight off and Omera nods. You couldn’t see the familiar helmet or even Cara.
“Your Mandalorian and that woman went out to gather information on the raiders. For your ankle, I may have something back at my home.” She says and the two of you stand up to head over when you spot Mando and Cara returning. The villagers all gather around ready to hear the news.
“Bad news. You can't live here anymore.” Mando says bluntly shocking them who all voice their disagreements.
“Nice bedside manner.” Cara elbows Mando who gives her a look, “You think you can do better.” Cara shakes her head stepping forward, “Can't do much worse. I know this is not the news you wanted to hear, but there are no other options.”
One of the villagers the man you met on the speeder shakes his head, “You took the job.”
“Yeah, that was before we knew about the AT-ST,” Cara says and the villagers look confused even you were. You never heard of anything like that.
“What is that?” Someone calls out, “The armored walker with two enormous guns that you knew about and didn't tell us.” Cara's retorts and the help you thought were simple raiders had become something that involved the empire. Their pleas to help seem to go unanswered the enemy seeming too great for Cara and even Mando. “This is a big planet, just most somewhere else. Trust me I’ve seen smaller.” Cara says and some of the older villagers refused angrily at the two.
“My grandfather seeded these ponds,” One of the framers says, “It took us generations.” Another but in.
“I understand. I do. But there are only two of us.” Mando points out that the difference between fighter and farmer was clear, these people were only civilians they probably never needed to fight in a war before.
“Please give us a chance there’s at least 20 here,” One of the farmers begs and Mando shakes his head, “I mean fighters. Be realistic.”
“We can learn. We can.” One of them says and they all make sounds of agreement, the idea that these people were going to learn how to fight to be raiders that had years of combat experience.
“I've seen that thing take out entire companies of soldiers in a matter of minutes,” Cara says the memories of her time in the rebellion trying to be a warning. Omera steps forward looking at Mando,
“We’re not leaving.”
“You cannot fight that thing!” Cara says pointing out into the forest and looking at Mando who was silent.
“Unless we show them how…you got two problems here,” He says out to the people, “You got the bandits, and you got the mech. We'll handle the AT-ST, but you gotta protect us when they come out of the woods. And I don't have to tell you how dangerous they are. Cara Dune here was a veteran. She was a drop soldier for the Rebellion, and she's gonna lay out a plan for you, so listen carefully.”
Cara steps forward speaking to them all. “Now, there's nothing on this planet that can damage the legs on this thing, so we're gonna build a trap. We're gonna need to dig real deep, right here, so that when it steps in, it drops,” She points out to the ground right in front of their village and the large pond, “The two of us will hit their camp. Provoke them. That'll bring the fight out of the woods and down here to us.” The plan is to lure the raiders out and trap the AT Walker forming.
“I'm gonna need you to cut down trees and build barricades along these edges. I need it high enough so that they can't get over, and strong enough so that it can't break through.” Mando calls out pointing to the large trees from the forest that would build their barricade, “Okay. Who knows how to shoot?” You look around at the crowd of people and only see one hand raise seeing it to be Omera.
The sun is bright the next day the village was very active, some are working on chopping wood to build the barricade, others were with Cara who was teaching them basic hand-to-hand combat with sticks, and Mando was teaching the villagers to shoot. With pots and pans as targets many are missing but you see Omera hit her target. Sitting on a large rock viewing all this you were carving the wooden sticks making them sharp at the ends for fighting. Silently watching while carving when you see Mando saying something to all of them before stepping away. He comes over standing beside the rock you are taller than him sitting on the large boulder.
“How’s it coming along?” He says looking at the pile of sharpened sticks that you’ve been working on for the past hour.
“Just working at it…do you think they can do it, fight against the raiders?” You ask looking at him the villagers practicing shooting and fighting but would these quick lessons be enough? Mando is silent probably thinking about the fight that was ahead of them.
“Come on,” He says holding out a gloved hand and gesturing you to come down. Dropping the stick you were working on into the pile tucking the knife in your belt, and taking his hand he helps you off the rock. You put most of your weight off your bad foot almost falling slightly if it weren’t for Mando’s hold on your hand. He starts walking towards the target practice area as the people working on shooting switches with the people training with Cara. Standing in front of one of the practice targets he pulls his blaster from his holster holding it out to you. He nods his head for you to take it and you grab it with two hands moving to stand in front of the target that is feet away.
“You know what you’re doing?” He asks as you stand silently the gun clutched between your hands. You can only picture the target being the stormtrooper in the room. The bolt hit him right in the chest dead instantly, before you followed suit with the others…and that one bounty hunter, and the man at the Razor Crest. You killed all those people. Would you have to keep doing this until you were home?
“I’ve never killed anyone until Nevarro…” You say out loud the blaster feeling like a weight in your hands. Did they have families? People to go home to? Sure they were a part of the empire and the bounty hunter was trying to kill you but they were still people. Living breathing people. His hand rest on your shoulder a grounding feeling.
“It’s not an easy thing to do…but they would have killed you. Think of that when you have to kill.” He says looking down at you, you probably were living a normal life in Tatooine. You probably had to fight to survive but you didn’t seem like a killer and because of him…because of who you are…you now were. “So stand tall, bring one foot out in front, and keep your weight balanced.” He says his hands grabbing your shoulders making you stand straight as you wipe your face getting rid of the lingering tears that clouded your vision. Looking ahead at the target you listen to his words.
“Keep your knees flexed to absorb the recoil, keep this arm straight the other supporting it,” His hand straightens your dominant arm while fixing the other one, “Make sure your main sight is in focus then move to the fine sight…remember to breathe…” His hands rest over yours before the world around you grows quiet and you can hear each breath you take in and exhale. You can feel the blaster in your hands grounding you, the dirt under your feet the vibrations of the earth. The feeling of Mando’s hands leaving yours, but another feeling. A feeling that covers you like a blanket connecting you to everything. The breeze in the air washed over you, the river flowing into the pond, the sun breathing life into the planet all around you. It connected you to it and you to it…the feeling you felt many years ago, and when you first witness the child.
“And shoot.”
The bolt hits the pan dead center it knocking over as the world grows loud again everything returning to focus as you look forward at the target down. Your hands drop down holding the weapon to your side. Your skin felt on fire a sensation you’ve never experienced before.
“You did well.” Mando says and you look up at him before nodding slightly returning the weapon to him, “Keep that up and you’ll be a sharpshooter.” You can’t ignore the warmth that fills your chest hearing the compliment and noticing the pride that was in his voice. The confident feeling didn’t leave you for the rest of the day.
Dusk arrived and the village had prepared the barricade and set up the weapons prepared and it was up to them to protect their village. Those who weren’t equipped with blasters had sharpened sticks. Mando and Cara were preparing themselves to leave while you also prepared for the battle.
“Kid,” Mando calls out as you finish bringing the children and the child inside the barn turning right outside the door.
“The kids have the child so we can focus on the fight.” You say pointing back at the open door, when he shakes his head a look of confusion was only necessary.
“No, you’re not getting involved in this.” He says and you can’t help but feel frustrated.
“But they need us, they need fighters. I can help!” You say trying to plead your case, why else would he teach you how to shoot, why did Mando give you his knife? You were meant to be out there. But he wasn’t backing down on his decision.
“You need to protect the child, that’s what you can do to help,” He says and you see him pull something out from his pack another blaster, “And if something is to go wrong I want you to take the child and get to the Crest and leave.”
“But what about the village? The people here we can’t just abandon them!” You say you weren’t about to run off and hide if the plan fails.
“What matters is getting you two off this planet away from the fight. If this is to fail you’re safer off somewhere in the galaxy than with those raiders who won’t hesitate to kill you both.” His hands are firm on your shoulders making sure you’re looking right at him and understanding his point. “You leave this planet, understand.” You nod silently biting your lip to not spill out any more words. You take the blaster holding it in one hand and he looks at you once last time before you watch him leave with Cara. He better win this fight.
The night was silently the children hidden in the barn, blankets, and baskets surrounding them as you stand by the door the blaster clutched within your hands waiting. It wasn’t until you hear the rumble of what you assume was the AT-ST that you knew that battle had begun. A loud explosion coming from outside made you jump and slight cries come from the children. The sound of gunfire further away filled the night before you felt a sense of panic fill your lungs and you turn just in time as the laser hit the barn.
The AT-ST shot out into the village hitting the homes of some of the villages until one made Omera scream out panic and pain in her voice, “THE BARN!” Mando felt something in him chill as he viciously killed one of the raiders looking back at where the barn is burning only one thought in his head, the kids.
The fire was hot against your skin as the burning planks of wood of the barely held-together barn were floating up in the air. Your hand was shaking slightly as you held the heavy planks and studs as the children ran out of the barn, “Quickly go now!” You yell out sweat dripping down your face. You’ve never experienced this much power before never trying it against something so heavy, seeing the last child out you threw yourself out rolling on the ground as the barn crumbled the flames burning bright. The rain and darkness wet all out of you as you clutched the blaster in your hands. Mando’s voice rings clear in your head, ‘I want you to take the child and get to the Crest and leave.’ but the children crying out in fear quickly took those thoughts away.
“Come on we gotta move!” You shout out holding your hand out and waving the children to follow you, one of them Winta was holding the child in her arms. Leading them through the rain and darkness hearing the battle raging just a few away. Seeing another large barn you rip the door open, “Everyone inside!” You yell as the children run inside right as you were about to enter something snatches your collar ripping you away from the door and throwing you against the mud.
Looking up seeing one of the raiders with a large blade in hand. A crackle of thunder and lightning fills the air as you roll out of the way. Pushing yourself up as the blade swings down where you once laid. The rain and mud made the ground and view hard to see but the glint of silver have you leaning out of the way of the metal. Kicking your leg out hitting him in the chest pushing him back and you look around for your blaster. Seeing it laying on the ground beside him you were at a disadvantage. Pulling the knife from your belt holding it out dodging his swipes trying to strike out being blocked by his blade. His hand pulls on your hair making you fall on the ground you go to swipe out at him but he kicks your knife out of your hand giving you a cut along your arm. You scramble backward in fear as you watch him raise the blade to deliver the killing blow. You quickly raise your hands up to block yourself when you hear him shout and the sound of him crashing on the ground. Looking up seeing him feet away pushing himself up from the mud. You see the blaster scrambling for it as he runs at you, blade raising a yell coming from him. Your hands wrap around the blaster quickly relaxing your arms and pulling the trigger. It hits him dead center and he falls to the ground. Dropping your blaster falling to your back the rain pours down on you as you catch your breath.
Forcing yourself up you wince in pain in your ankle as you grab the muddy blaster and find your knife holstering it. Looking back at the barn and back to where you see flashes of red and the blaster fire from the AT-ST whipping through the village. You clutch the blaster in your hand before racing toward the fight.
The AT-ST walker hadn’t fallen for the trap leading to Mando and Cara rushing into the pond trying to provoke it as well as fight off the raiders, “It’s not falling for it!” Cara yells out using Mando’s pulse rifle to draw its attention. Mando shoots down a raider coming by Cara punching another that was trying to attack him.
“We gotta get that thing to step forward!” Mando yells the rain beating down on all of them, his mind was torn between two places seeing the barn up in flames hoping you all got out safe and stopping this walker.
“I’m thinking!” Cara yells back, the walker looks down at the two of them bright red lights shining down and the whir of the gun preparing to fire down on them. They couldn’t dodge that in time and even beskar can’t take that large of a blast. A crush of metal fills the air and they see the legs of the walker bend in the wrong way, and the turrets of the guns bend forward to face the walker. Mando looks back, his reaction one of shock hidden behind the beskar helmet. The rain pours down on your covered in mud the flashes of lightning highlighting you. Your hand was held out as your close your fist the metal of the walker crushing more before it falls into the pond.
“It’s now or never!” Cara yells out having seen the AT-ST fall into the pond making Mando look back forward only to see you disappear in the rain. Rushing towards the walker charging a thermal detonator plunging it into the walker’s chassis and blowing it up. The explosion of the walker has the few surviving raiders fleeing back into the woods. The village cheers the battle won as Mando tries calming his beat heart the only thought in his head. What are you?
Weeks had passed since the battle, time to heal and to relax. You had expected a yelling from Mando he saw you during the battle when you were meant to be at the barn, but he hadn’t said anything of the sort patting you on the shoulder. You were showered with thanks from the villagers having protected their children and sort. Healing was a bitch though, you felt absolutely exhausted right after the battle sleeping for hours and during that time Omera had tended to you checking on your ankle you strained more, to the cut you obtained. You probably never slept for that long since being taken from Tatooine. But having decent medicine and not leaving to travel allowed you to heal properly. Soon the cut from the battle and the blaster ray during Nervarro had healed nicely scars as a reminder. Your ankle had gotten better after 2 weeks and you were up and at it taking this free time on this planet exploring. Spending your days joining in on hunts with the adults or traveling with some of the few kids around your age to visit large rolling hills of wildflowers or the large waterfalls that covered your howls and laughter. You felt carefree and happy here something you haven’t felt in the seventeen years of your life.
Mando watches the child playing with some of the kids resting against the support of one of the homes, “He’s very happy here..so is the girl.” Cara says as Mando looks further down the road seeing you with a group of teens your age, a wide smile was on your face as you listen in to one of their stories another was braiding your hair in a style he’s seen some of the women and girls in the village wear.
“So, what happens if you take that thing off? They come after you and kill you?” Cara asks and Mando shakes his head,
“No. You just can't ever put it back on again.” Mando says the rule of his creed is strict, the Mandalorian way of never revealing your face has stuck with him since he was saved by them.
“That's it? So you can slip off the helmet, settle down with that beautiful young widow, and raise your kids sitting here, sipping spotchka?” Cara says clearly seeing the connection the Mandalorian had with the woman of this village. Anyone could see it.
“You know, we raised some hell here a few weeks back. It's too much action for a backwater town like this. Word travels fast. We might wanna cycle the charts and move on.” Mando points out, it wouldn’t be long for some bounty hunter or anyone with an eye for a few extra credits to come looking out here.
“Would not wanna be the one who's gotta tell them,” Cara says, the joy on both of your faces enough to warm her heart, just a few weeks of meeting you three to gain an ally and a friend.
“I'm leaving them here. Traveling with me, that's no life for a kid. I did my job, he's safe and she’s better off here than on some desert planet. Better chance at life.” He says, he felt content leaving they were going to be safe here, but the small twinge in his chest was growing tougher to ignore. No, he couldn’t form an attachment it would never end well.
“Come on. Come on,” Cara sighs looking back at the two children and then at Mando who was walking away, “It's gonna break his little heart and she really looks up to you. You compliment her and she’s glowing the rest of the day.” Mando doesn’t look back and keeps walking.
“They’ll get over it. We all do.”
You had trailed off from the group the sounds of nature were calming around as your hands trace the rough bark, the grass brushing along your legs, it felt like a dream. The number of colors was everywhere unlike the sands of beige and tan on Tatooine. The songs the birds sing as they fly to their nest as you come across a clearing where you see a fawn eating the grass while its doe and buck watch over it protectively. You slowly crouch down watching with fascination unaware of the slow footsteps coming from behind a weapon raised to aim.
A blaster bolt rings clear in the air startling the creatures in the forest and the village right beside it. Mando stiffens Omera jumping in his grasp.
“The children!” Omera yells as they rush off to where the children as looking around in fear with some other adults but when he sees them all alright including the child his head whips to the forest.
Mando rushes through the forest his blaster in his hands when he hears Cara’s voice, coming upon a clearing where she is holding standing over a body and his blood chills maker was it yours? He lets out a breath seeing you stand out of his view and looking down at the body your eyes widen still in shock specks of blue blood from the hunter decorate your face. He holsters his gun and comes over to you grabbing you by the shoulders.
“What were you doing out alone!?” He shouts at you shaking you as your gaze is still glued to the body on the floor, he had come to kill you. You almost died. He shakes you again the shock still glued to you, “Are you listening to me?!” He yells and your eyes snap back to his he was sure you were staring right through his helmet, tears were brimming your eyes. He’s pulled off you by Cara as you turn away from the gruesome look trying to calm your breathing.
“Hey calm down,” Cara says to Mando giving him a look before glancing at you who is trying to calm yourself down. He takes a breath his anger for you fading as he steps toward the bounty seeing a blinking fob. He was right..it was going to happen sooner or later. They knew you and the child were here. You were only lucky somewhere was there before anything could have happened.
The sled was beginning to be loaded as the villagers, Cara and Mando load his supplies to be brought back to the Crest. “Are you sure you don't want an escort?” Cara asks willingly to help as they load the final items.
“I appreciate the offer, but we're gonna bypass the town and head right to the Razor Crest.” He says as Cara nods before holding her hand out,
“Well then, until our paths cross.” Mando accepts her hand both holding on shaking,
“Until our paths cross.”
You look at the small group of friends you had made, hugging them each goodbye before stepping away to Omera who smiles holding a small item wrapped in cloth.
“A salve for if you are to gain any more injuries in your travels.” She says cupping your face and trying to wipe off some of the blood that has dried on your face. You accept her gift wrapping your arms around her she quickly accepts the hug,
“Thank you for everything.” You say before you pull away moving to Cara who pats your arm,
“You look after each other alright?” She says and you nod and she rubs your arm.
“Goodbye Cara.” You get a sad smile as you climb onto the sled the child gets a hug from Winta as you watch Omera speak a few words to Mando before hugging him. He pulls away loading his rifle before climbing on as you watch the village grow smaller the villagers waving goodbye as you leave.
The Razor Crest is silent as the child sits in his cradle playing with his small ball while you were sat in your seat, your hands slowly undoing the braids down in your hair. You were happy there and how quickly it was snatched away from you. “Hey kid,” Mando’s voice calls out and you look up seeing him holding a cloth. Unlike the heavy hand, it’s lighter as it cleans the blood from your face. He pulls away putting the cloth to the side as he takes his seat not moving before he looks back at you, “I’m sorry…for yelling.” You’re staring out the window not looking at him, your hair out of the style of the people you grew to know blocking your face from him.
“Let’s just get off this planet.”

PROPAGANDA
ALLURA (VOLTRON: LEGENDARY DEFENDER)
1.) Okay so, they really wanted Allura to be a #girlpower icon, but the way that came about is that they basically stripped her from having emotions. She only cries once in the whole show, and it was in the first season (when the show was actually good.) After her one cry she basically becomes a leader figure who doesn’t get to bond much with the other characters. They then decided to pass her around as a romantic interest to three different men. The first one was only set up, but she ends up dating two of them within the show’s short run. The second character they set her up with turns out to have enslaved her people. The third character they set her up with has been shown to be interested in her through the shows run. Despite Allura’s consistent lack of interest, she ends up being pressured into going on a date with him. Despite it being a terrible date (in my opinion) they decide to peruse a relationship. The relationship is terrible and they really only spend time together to rant about their problems. At the end of the season, the very same one where this relationship started, Allura sacrifices herself to save the universe. This stupid fucking decision not only came out of nowhere in terms of in-universe logic, but also that her death is treated as sad because the guy lost his girlfriend. Most of the other characters don’t really morn her, and the guy she was dating just becomes sadly obsessed with the idea of her for the rest of his life. Not really the nice send-off for the #girlboss.
2.) She was given plenty character, but not a lot of things to do narratively speaking.
She wanted to free the Galaxy from tyranny. She's the leader even though she doesn't pilot the black lion. She's can talk to mice. She's kind, and she's among the the last of her kind. Her home planet was destroyed. She kept going even when things looked horrendous. She had to wait 10,000 in stasis sleep before she could fight to protect others. Because her father wanted to protect her and made the wrong decision in not fighting the Galra with Voltron. She had to destroy the AI of her father when he was corrupted in season 1. She had to deal with her Dad dying twice.
She had cool powers like shapeshifting but didn't get to use them often. She starts piloting the blue lion, at season 3. Her father worked with the big bad Zarkon and she is portrayed just to hate him. When it was more like she was completely betrayed by him.
She didn't get alot of interactions with the other cool female characters. Even Pidge who was on her team, which can only form Voltron through teamwork. 8 seasons and they never talk about how how much they miss their families. Pidge's main motivation is finding her father and brother. It would have been perfect. The only time they hangout is to get Allura ready for a date.
She was distrusting of all Galra since there empire wiped out her kingdom. But when she got an arc about learning to not distrust all Galra. It functionally ended with Prince Lotor of the Galra making people batteries out of the survivor's of her kingdom.
Then she was basically relegated to her relationship with Lance's interaction wise. She didn't get many interactions with anyone else she was close to in the season she died. Not even with Coran, the guy put in stasis with her.
For the finale she dies sacrificing herself to restore all realites. She had to give up her new family and her people. She would do that, I just don't think the writers had earned doing that. She deserved a happy ending. She never gets to see that her sacrifice even brought back her planet.
3.) season 8. Season 8. SEASON 8. Allura deserved so much better than an out of nowhere romance arc with Lance and then dying without being able to say goodbye to Coran (her royal advisor, closest friend, and last remaining member of her family and her planet). AND they had her give Altean marks to Lance right before dying, leaving him with a constant reminder of her for the rest of his life!! Why!!!!!!!!! AND THEN THE LIONS FLY BACK INTO SPACE TOWARDS A NEBULA SHAPED LIKE HER, LIKE THE WHOLE FINALE WAS SATISFYING AND NOT A MASTERCLASS IN UNSATISFYING CHARACTER ENDINGS!!!!!! Allura you will always be the confident princess and leader of the rebellion in my heart i am so so sorry season 8 happened to you

MIKAELA BANES (TRANSFORMERS)
1.) mikaela's case is so egregious that i struggle to really properly word any propaganda beyond 'just look at the movie. look at it.' but congrats to mikaela banes for getting in! was thinking of submitting her along with my arcee but couldn't even like. begin to describe it. agh.
best i can really say for her right now is 'open her tfwiki article, open sam's, look at the pictures, compare how they frame the two, you will see what i mean then and there.' but i might do a rewatch of the bayverse transformers movies just to be able to get all my more complex thoughts in order to actually submit a breakdown of her. which is not something i want to do, but if anyone deserves it it's mikaela. she deserved so much better.
2.) She was the female character played by Megan Fox, and Michael Bay wanted to make sure everyone watching knew this was a woman played by megan fox. She is the quintessential "not like other girls" (in fact, this is the second sentence of her wikipedia page - "She is differentiated from "typical" women in her age group, having inherited mechanical skills from her father") who has guy interests, but is still hot and wears crop tops and jean shorts. I remember two things from that movie, Bumblebee and the scene where she is working on the car ~sexily~, which today genuinely seems like a parody, but was included entirely earnestly (I wasn't going to add a picture from this scene, but it was literally the first and third pictures that showed up when i googled her)
3.) Mikaela is so sexualized it's unreal. Like, I feel I really just need to submit this screenshot:
Tumblr media
Look at the way she's posed, the way she's dressed, the fact her head isn't in the shot. It's pure objectification, like the kind that should be in textbooks as easy examples. The way it emphasizes both her butt and her boobs but also shows her stomach is just astonishing. God it doesn't even show her FACE. This shot really amazes me, just good god.
And then there's also this famous shot:
Tumblr media
It's so aggressively sexy, so much a pose and not at all a way a real human would position themselves. The way her ass is popped out, the way her hair is flipped, jesus christ. Someone needs to put Michael Bay in misogyny jail.

Galaxy bra1n on Tumblr What do you think about this post? I just happened upon it honestly, and it just... made me squirm tbh. I just don't like it. But I'm not sure how to put it into words, so I'd really like to know your thoughts on it if it's not too much of a bother ofc. I don't mean any offense to the OP too, it's just that this take rubs me the wrong way. Really love your blog!
Yeah lol this take is weird for a few reasons. First of all if you don't mind the ship idk why you care about what is a "good" reason to ship them. Characters can and have been shipped together because they looked at each other once and for no reason at all, and that's perfectly fine because like, who cares?
Second, I am so tired of people blaming Zuko for Azula shooting lightning at Katara. Zuko wasn't goading Azula out of stupidity or pride, he was trying to end the fight quickly without involving anyone else using a move he knew Azula had no defense against that he had used once before against his father, to quickly end a fight without violence. He did not think Azula would go for Katara because that is against the rules - that Azula set, because she challenged Zuko - of an agni kai. You could MAYBE say that Zuko should have anticipated that Azula would cheat, but that's always been their dynamic. Zuko is always too honorable and Azula is always lying and cheating. What has changed is that she's no longer able to manipulate Zuko and is revealed to be the lying cheater that she always was, but that still doesn't mean he could have anticipated her aiming at Katara, who had to be exactly in the right place at the right time.
As far as him "doing the bare minimum"...I mean, I do think he would have done it regardless of who it was who was in danger and his relationship to them, but that's not a reason to diminish what he did, either. It takes incredible fortitude to put yourself in harm's way for another person, and fast reflexes to get there in time. Katara herself is frozen to the spot, which is a natural reaction to danger, but if Zuko had done that or not reacted fast enough or even been slightly off, she or he would have died instantly. So let's not belittle what Zuko did in sacrificing his own life to save someone else in an incredible act of selflessness, compassion, and heroism just because we don't like a ship.
Third, these takes always miss WHY it's seen as a shippy moment. It's not only the culmination of a specific narrative arc between the three of them, the thematic motif of Zuko being positioned between what Azula and Katara represent to him, respectively, the choice between selfishness and selflessness, hate and love, cruelty and forgiveness - which alone are pretty damn good reasons to ship them. But not only that, it's the strong emotions that are created from that act. I don't think Zuko jumped in front of the lightning because he loved her. But you can't help but love someone after that, after giving your whole being to another person in that moment. And Katara does the same thing for Zuko. Sure, you could argue that she would have done it anyway, her morals wouldn't allow her to let him die, but the act itself still remains, with all its meaning, and the emotion behind it.
And the narrative goes out of its way to tell us that this is impossible! That a failure to redirect lightning correctly will result in perma-death. That Katara's powers of healing alone weren't enough to bring someone back from that precipice without spirit water. But they do it anyway. They save each other, through sheer force of will, and they can't not be tied to each other after that.
If that's not a good enough reason to ship, I don't know what is. Which doesn't mean you have to, of course. You are free to not vibe with a ship, regardless of the reasoning behind it. But don't tell me it's not a damned good reason.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 made me cry three times.
Hey, that’s one per movie...Yeah, this movie’s awesome.
If you couldn’t tell, this is a very emotional film for sure, and a part of why that works so well is because it’s these characters. The Guardians are some of the most likable characters in the MCU, so seeing them go through a lot of hard stuff in this movie hits ya where it hurts because of how much you care about them. Especially Rocket, who I might not see the same way again after this movie due to his crazy tragic backstory.
Speaking of which, shit gets DARK with Volume 3! Do you like animals? Then maybe don’t watch this one, because there are scenes where animals get tortured, mutilated, mutated, and even killed throughout the film. You don’t see the REAL brutal stuff, but the implications that James Gunn puts in might actually be worse than SHOWING us. But don’t let that make you think we DON’T see any gruesome stuff in this. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 is one of the few MCU projects that EARNS its PG-13 rating, having some VIOLENT imagery and deaths. For example, there’s a moment where you see what a character really looks like, and it might just be the goriest thing the MCU has ever had, which is the biggest compliment I can give.
But despite all that, it’s still funny! Like, REALLY funny! And the jokes don’t spoil and dramatic or serious moment in the film, either...Well, except for maybe one or two scenes, but that’s NOTHING compared to films where the jokes completely harm the final product like Thor: Love and Thunder. Here, the jokes are perfectly placed, are rarely forced in, and are ACTUALLY funny. Me and everyone in the theater were cackling with laughter a LOT throughout the movie. I could barely restrain myself from belting out a laugh or two half the time.
And the action. Holy SHIT, the action! These “trilogies” in the MCU really know how to save the cool stuff for the third movies. Iron Man 3, Captain America: Civil War, Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and now THIS FILM all feature some of the most epic, creative, and fun action scenes and set-pieces in the MCU. There’s a hallway fight that might just top Daredevil’s due to how violent and creative it is with these characters, their powers, and how they kill people. It really does feel like James Gunn wanted to give the fans a few final cool battles before leaving the MCU forever.
Which brings me to another thing about what makes this movie awesome: It is a clear send-off for James Gunn and the Guardians. The movie makes it VERY clear that this will be the last time all these characters will be together. Hell, the credits features pictures of the Guardians throughout their journies and adventures in the MCU. The most we’ll PROBABLY get are cameos, but other than that, this is the end for most of these characters. And WHAT an end it was.
If there’s anything to complain about, there’s two problems.
#1, Adam Warlock. The character isn’t...bad and Will Poulter nails the voice I always pictured this character having. But he doesn’t really nail who Warlock is in the comics and, overall, he’s kind of...pointless. You can easily write him out of the movie and make a few extra tweaks NOTHING would be missing. Honestly, it feels like the only reason why he’s here is because Volume 2 teased his appearance and James Gunn had no choice but to...bring him in for this last ride. Also, Warlock has the worst costume in the MCU. I mean, look at this:
Tumblr media
What even is this?
Which brings me to #2--Which is my most nitpickiest complaint: Star Lord doesn’t wear his mask. Ever. Throughout all two hours and a half hours of this film. It’s part of a bigger complain I have where characters don’t mask up as much as they should in these movies, but it doesn’t stop how distracting it is. I don’t want see Chrisp Ratt’s stupid face in this. I want to see STAR LORD.
Tumblr media
THIS! I want to see THIS! And the crazy thing is that Volume 3 finally gives the Guardians their comic accurate uniforms, but don’t go all the way in giving us Star Lord’s mask. Not even the original one they made for these movies. Part of the fun of superheroes are their cool and iconic costumes so it sucks that we don’t get to see enough of that. Imagine if Spider-Man: No Way Home or Captain America: Civil War didn’t have Peter and Steve wear their masks for the big and epic fights, including the finale battles. It wouldn’t be great, would it? Seeing Tom Holland and Chris Evans fight instead of Spider-Man and Captain America.
LET YOUR HEROES WEAR MASKS, YOU COWARDS!
...But other than that, this movie’s a near perfect 9/10 for me.
Now, does this mean Marvel’s back on their game and they’ll be making good movies again?
Tumblr media
...We’ll see.
For now, I’ll remain hopeful. Because while the MCU is going through a bit of a rough patch with its films and recent shows, there’s still some fun to be had. I’ll always keep an eye out for what they have next, even if it’s not always as good as it could be, it’ll always lead me to seeing...
A fun, nostalgic thrill-ride that honors Spider-Man and what makes him so awesome.
A touching tribute to Chadwick Boseman and how much he and the character he portrayed meant to others.
And this final ride that’s fun, tragic, and complete in all the right ways.

Chapter Summary
The end of your first night with Cal doesn't go as expected. Rating: 18+ Words: 2.6K

Cal finally pulls himself from your body and you collapse exhausted on the bed. A pillow flies from its location at the headboard into Cal’s hand and he places it to the side of your body. He helps move you so that you are laying on your back; the pillow resting under your lower back.
“I’m not done with you yet.” He says, spreading your legs wider.
You comply, too tired to do anything but allow him to move you as he sees fit. “Cal, what if I end up pregnant? And it’s not…” You don’t finish the sentence.
Cal gives you a sympathetic look. You understand what he isn’t saying and you feel sick at the prospect. “Did you determine if it’s a possibility?” He asks in an even tone.
You shake your head, “I don’t know, it’s been maybe a week since my last cycle, so it’s possible, but I’m not sure.” Tears prick your eyes.
“You’ve taken a risk. Considering my role in the galaxy, I won’t be able to spare your pain if a child, the wrong child, grows in you.” He says, his eyes hard.
You nod and a couple tears fall from your eyes, you reach to wipe them away.
“However, I will do everything in my power to lower the odds of the worst-case scenario.” He says looking down at your stomach.
Cal appears to be lost in thought for a moment. You don’t know for sure but it seems likely he is playing out potential futures in his mind. “So if I leave, you’ll monitor me until you know for sure.”
Cal’s eyes meet yours again, “Yes, there are three potential outcomes, all of which require my presence until we know. You may still leave, but you won’t be free of me.”
You are quiet for a moment, completely horrified. Quickly you have to sit up as tears stream down your face. You aren’t even really sure what you are crying about. The fear of having a child, losing the promise of potential freedom, the knowledge that you may have to watch a baby, your baby, die. This isn’t how you wanted things to go tonight. You wanted to act on desire, not have such heavy weights placed on your shoulders.
Cal moves out from between your legs, allowing you a moment to be with your emotions. He moves to sit next to you and wraps a muscular arm around your shoulders, pulling you close. His other hand reaches out behind both of you and he is suddenly holding an extra blanket. He wraps it around your naked bodies. You lean your head against Cal and allow the tears to fall, every painful thought floods your mind.
In your childhood home a decade prior, your father is pulling the grate off the vent, stuffing you inside and pleading for you to stay quiet. You are crying and hitting him, trying to stop him from saving you, you don’t want to be left alone. Your mother is clinging to your brother in the center of the room, hugging him tight against her chest. Whispering something against the top of his head as she repeatedly presses kisses to his hair. There is the sound of pounding on the front door and yelling outside.
You keep fighting back, preventing your father from placing the grate back on to conceal you. Through tears you beg your father to allow you to all flee the home together, he just keeps shaking his head and telling you to be brave and stay quiet. He tells you to wait until dawn the next morning to leave your hiding place. You cry and beg but finally allow the grate to be placed to hide you.
The front door explodes open, falling off its hinges and your father races away from you, charging forwards to protect your mother and brother. He throws himself in front of the two smaller people on the floor trying to argue with the Grand Inquisitor but his words fall on deaf ears. You shove your fist into your mouth to muffle the sounds of horror trying to escape your lips.
In a flash of red your father’s head is rolling across the floor of the small room, his body falling to the ground. You hear screaming; you think it is your mother and brother, but it may also be you. The Grand Inquisitor kicks your father’s body to the side and reaches to pull your younger brother from your mother’s arms. She screams and fights back. Your brother looks like a doll being fought over. He has completely shut down, already knowing his fate.
The Grand Inquisitor finally pulls him away from your mother. There is so much screaming. You aren’t sure how it happened but your brother is lying lifeless on the floor next to your father. Your bladder gives out. You hear a wicked laugh that is cut short as your mother fights back. She stops moving suddenly with a lightsaber sticking out of her back. She is looking at you, and you hold your breath, trying to keep quiet as you watch the life drain out of her eyes.
Everything is silent. The only sound is your heartbeat in your ears. You aren’t breathing.
The Grand Inquisitor leaves after looking over his work. The storm troopers comb through the rest of the house, taking what they want but not finding you. You breathe in a slow and shallow manner as they work, not wanting to be the next victim. An hour passes before you allow yourself to breathe normally, but you quickly lose control of the breath as you sob. The violence of the cries causes you to vomit all over yourself.
You stayed in the vent, covered in your filth, sobbing, and staring at the bodies of your family for hours. When dawn arrived you finally left your hiding spot, honoring your father’s last wishes. You run to your family and lie with them, crying, but tears stopped falling long ago. Allowing yourself about an hour of mourning before turning to go to your shared room. You trash your clothes, clean yourself and change. You pack a bag full of everything you think you might need and head out into the world, completely alone for the first time in your life.
Cal is making soft noises, trying to calm you down. He is squeezing you tight against him, shushing quietly and murmuring reassuring words against your hair. You continue to cry, your body shakes every time you inhale.
You remember spending many nights sleeping alone in alleys, starving on the streets. Surviving in the freezing temperatures and icy rain, dehydrated and barely able to keep consciousness. Then you remember a kind person who took you in, provided you food and shelter. You ended up telling them what happened to your family, and they informed you of the Rebellion. Taking you with them to meet others who found themselves displaced by the cruelness of the Empire. You learned to pilot after a few years of earning your keep. Over the next five years, you became the capable woman that captured Theo’s heart.
Then your thoughts shift to Theo, and the pain of losing the relationship that had meant everything to you. Losing the almost family you had built, and maybe you were still building without his knowledge. You realize you will have to watch as another of your flesh and blood will lose their life in front of you, by a horrible red lightsaber. More sobs rack your body.
“Kill me, I don’t want to live anymore. I can’t watch it happen again. I’d rather die too, before knowing.” You say between great heaves.
Cal doesn’t respond, instead continuing to soothe you by rocking you gently. You collapse further against him, completely unable to hold your own body weight. Unable to do anything but cry and cry until there is nothing left. You are so completely exhausted by everything that has happened that you end up falling asleep in Cal’s arms.
⋆ ˚。⋆ ˚。⋆ ˚。⋆ ˚。⋆
You wake hours later tucked comfortably into the spacious bed. Unable to see past your blurry vision, you rub the sleep from your overly dry eyes. The sun is high in the sky, showing you slept right through the agreed upon deadline. You wonder briefly if that means that you no longer have the option to choose.
Stretching you find you are wearing a black slightly oversized shirt, it smells clean and you hope you didn’t leak bodily fluids all over the bottom hem. You reach down to feel and find that you are relatively clean down there, Cal must have cleaned you up before dressing you for bed. Sitting up you see three large glasses of water and a note on the bedside table. You pick up the note first.
I will be back later this afternoon. PLEASE do not leave these quarters. We will discuss things upon my return. Help yourself to anything that you need in my absence.
I don’t want to see a drop of water left in the glasses; you need to rehydrate.
-13th Br Cal
You smile at the note, specifically the sign off. Too thirsty to ignore the water and you grab one glass, chugging the contents. You reach for the next and can only drink half of it before setting it down. You realize you need a bathroom and likely a shower so you get up and head for the nearest door, happy to find a luxurious en suite.
Your family wasn’t poor, but you had nothing this nice. The bathroom is large, and the shower is open to the rest of the room, however potted plants provide a border around the designated showering space. Large green leaves and beautiful flowers decorate the area, feeling like a paradise tucked in the icy heart of the Empire. The plants appear to come from many parts of the galaxy and you wonder exactly where Cal collected them.
You see your dress folded and resting on the counter next to the sink, some spare toiletries are lying nearby, obviously awaiting your use. There is another note laying on top of your dress.
The dress is optional. My closet is open to you if you want to cover up more. Naked is okay too.
You snort at the last part and decide to head towards the doors at the back of the bathroom to look for the closet. The first door opens to a toilet, which you pause your exploration to use. You notice traces of blood and you aren’t sure what it means, but you hope it is just from the rough portion of last night.
You exit the small room and head towards the second door, opening into a large walk-in closet. There is a significant lack of color in the hung clothing but you search through the endless black garments. You find one of his black tank tops and take it to change into. You take some black lounge pants but they are too big; figuring you can roll the waist and legs to better fit you.
Heading back into the bathroom you place the new clothes on the counter and turn on the shower. Hot steam fills the room and you comb your hair and brush your teeth. You remove the sleep shirt and take the spare soap before heading into the lovely water.
It’s been so long since you’ve enjoyed hot running water, you mostly stand there, relaxing your body. Finally, you clean yourself with the soap but linger in the warmth before shutting the water off and wrapping yourself in a couple nearby towels.
You comb your hair again and dress, the tank top fits well enough and you have to roll both ends of the sweats multiple times to get them to fit. Finally, you feel comfortable and clean. You head back into the bedroom and make the bed, then chug the rest of the second glass of water. Picking up the third and taking it with you towards the front of Cal’s quarters.
There was a kitchen that you had spotted when you entered and you head towards it to find some food. You find something substantial and sit down to eat. You can only focus on eating since it has been almost a full day since your last meal. Once the meal is complete, you chug the remaining glass of water and then look around.
You aren’t entirely sure what to do now that you have covered your basic needs. So you decide to snoop, unable to fully give up your old Rebel ways. How often does anyone really get to peer behind the curtain of the Inquisitors?
There were a couple doors in the hallways leading to Cal’s bedroom so you start with the door on the right. It is an office, a desk with various pieces of tech probably containing secrets and plans of the Empire. Resisting with all your might to look through them. There is probably tons of information that could help the Rebellion. However, Cal can read your mind, and he would never let you leave if you knew the information contained within.
So you walk away from the desk, instead heading towards the shelves lining the walls. Memorabilia covers them, likely from his travels through the galaxy. You didn’t take Cal as a sentimental man, but he likes to collect items for his home. He didn’t stop at collecting plants. There are small artifacts: stone carvings, pieces of pottery, and other trinkets.
Most of it means very little to you, but you find yourself drawn to another table, a workstation. Lots of pieces of scrap metal and tools lay about. There is a deactivated small red and white droid sitting beneath the table. You can’t imagine why he would have a droid here, maybe he was using it for parts.
After a bit more admiration of the keepsakes, you leave the room, closing the door behind you. You head towards the other door and find the room empty, just a bedroom, but no bed or any other furniture. Searching the room to be sure it isn’t a cover up for something else. The room is very much just an empty room.
You head back towards the living room and sit on the couch. No longer having a task, you finally allow yourself to think. It seems you still have a choice to make about leaving, but you aren’t sure what would be best. If you leave, those in the Rebellion will be in danger, however staying would mean joining the Empire. Being okay with the atrocities they commit. An act of sacrifice to save others who can continue to fight against the Empire.
The sound of a lock opening startles you, but you relax when Cal walks through the front door, dressed entirely in his Inquisitor uniform. The uniform causes a minor panic but you try to remind yourself that he won’t hurt you, at least, not now.
A smile breaks his stern expression when he sees you seated on the couch wearing his clothes. “You’re up, did you drink the water?”
You glance towards the empty glass on the kitchen counter, he follows your gaze and nods. “How are you feeling?”
“I’m okay, just drained after everything yesterday.” You say, giving a small smile.
Cal removes his boots and the outer layer of armor of his uniform, then walks to sit beside you. “We have much to discuss, if you are ready.”
You take a deep breath, “I’m ready.”

The Moment of Impact
You know me, always coming up with new AU ideas.
When Caleb Dume is fourteen, he is a freshly traumatized mess who just felt the destruction of everything he held dear.
And to top it all off, he is hit with nineteen years' worth of future memories, from that second up until the moment he dies.
Understandably, Caleb panics.
It takes a while for him to get his head together, and in the end, he decides the best, maybe the only, thing to do is to follow the path already laid.
Maybe he makes a few changes.
Saves a few lives.
Doesn't stray quite so far, because he already knows the way home.
Quite a while later, he meets Hera on Gorse. He's been looking forward to this for a long, long time.
And so has Hera.
For Hera, the moment she can never forget—the moment she lost her mother—is also the moment she Remembered.
Kanan develops a theory, and does a bit of mental math.
These... moments of impact. Assuming it's the whole crew, assuming they will all remember... when? He can guess. The massacre of Lasan. The Duchess. Ezra's parents.
Ezra's parents. Force, that was a year ago. Does he already remember?
As much as Kanan and Hera both want to drop everything and run grab the kid... they don't know what it will change; if the ripple effect will ruin everything. They can't.
Two years later, with Lasan reduced to rubble, Zeb has no such worries.
He couldn't save Lasan. He was too late for that. But he has knowledge now and he is going to use it.
His first stop is Lothal.
Ezra's Remembered for three years. On the sly, he's been experimenting with Force powers and mind tricks and he's got a pretty good hustle going.
He's also desperately lonely.
He never met Kanan or Hera or Chopper or Zeb or Sabine, not yet, but he still misses them so much.
So much that when he bumps into Zeb on the street, he accidentally blurts out his name in sheer joy.
Zeb has acquired a ship at this point, and he and Ezra make a journey out into the wide galaxy, on their way to find Kanan and Hera.
Kanan and Hera are very hard to find.
Zeb and Ezra make a detour.
This time around, Sabine erases everything on the Duchess. Every scrap of information, every last little thing. There is no trace it even existed. It will never be rebuilt.
But she takes longer this time, being extra ever-so-careful, and gets caught, and locked up.
She's plotting her escape when a face she's never seen but would still know anywhere peeks out from the ventilation shaft in the ceiling.
Kanan and Hera, like the worried parents they are, have been monitoring Imperial communications from the Mandalore Academy when they hear a report of a Lasat and a Jedi breaking out a student who was just arrested for treason. It's accompanied by a holo of a very large, very colorful explosion.
"So much for leaving the timeline alone," Kanan remarks dryly. Hera is already on her way to the cockpit, instructing Chopper to set a course for Mandalore.
It's time for a family reunion.

What is your favourite Doctor Who story?
Tumblr media
ROUND 1 MASTERPOST
synopses and propaganda under the cut
The Book of the War
Synopsis
The Great Houses: Immovable. Implacable. Unchanging. Old enough to pass themselves off as immortal, arrogant enough to claim ultimate authority over the Spiral Politic.
The Enemy: Not so much an army as a hostile new kind of history. So ambitious it can re-write worlds, so complex that even calling it by its name seems to underestimate it.
Faction Paradox: Renegades, ritualists, saboteurs and subterfugers, the criminal-cult to end all criminal-cults, happy to be caught in the crossfire and ready to take whatever's needed from the wreckage… assuming the other powers leave behind a universe that's habitable.
The War: A fifty-year-old dispute over the two most valuable territories in existence: "cause" and "effect."
Marking the first five decades of the conflict, THE BOOK OF THE WAR is an A to Z of a self-contained continuum and a complete guide to the Spiral Politic, from the beginning of recordable time to the fall of humanity. Part story, part history and part puzzle-box, this is a chronicle of protocol and paranoia in a War where the historians win as many battles as the soldiers and the greatest victory of all is to hold on to your own past…
Propaganda
Is it about Dr Who? I mean, sort of. Arguably. You could say the Doctor is present in it. Somewhat. Not by name tho because that would be illegal. But definitely there are uh. well. there's definitely stuff in it that's DWesque. It's Dr Who Adjacent. It's Dr Whoish. Strong Dr Who vibes. (@eighthdoctor )
Experimental sci-fantasy that defined the Time War and started a whole series of its own. (anonymous)
This Town Will Never Let Us Go
Synopsis
From up here you can see it all, hear it all, taste most of it and feel the rest when the electric lights and the satellite signals prickle against your skin. The town, from midnight to six, marked out in headlights and the flash-fire of a culture in War-time. Séance-messages written in the patterns of the road signs, and ghost-transmissions scrambled into the background noise of the traffic. Animal scent-signals from the fried food stands. All describing something, buried under the tarmac and the street-geometry.
Down there, a girl in a fake-bone mask is working on a ritual to bring it to the surface. A popular performing artiste with a navel stud and serious identity problems is finding herself stalked — literally — by her own image. An ambulance crewman is about to find his own way of getting involved in the War.
And bringing them all together, in one neat little urban mythology, there's Faction Paradox - part cult, part subculture, part pop phenomenon, and part criminal syndicate, either watching-without-being-seen or simply not existing at all (at least until someone invents it). Assuming they're not wholly imaginary, the archons of the Faction seem like the only ones who know what this town really is - what every town really is — and what's bound to happen when it wakes up.

Of the City of the Saved…
Synopsis
For Humanity, the War is over...
We all remember Resurrection Day. Even now, three centuries later, we cannot forget that awakening: our bewilderment, our terror and our joy. Each of us had experienced death, imagining ourselves bound for oblivion, Heaven or Nirvana, according to taste. Instead, we found, each member of the many human species — from tool-wielding australopithecines to posthuman philosopher-gods — had been harvested, gathered here by the Founders’ unfathomable technologies.
Reborn in our countless immortal bodies, we were given the freedom of the City of the Saved. A single conurbation as broad as a spiral galaxy, she has been our sanctuary from the ravages of the War. That monstrous conflict between inhuman cultures cannot touch us here: we live our afterlives beyond the end of time, in perfect safety.
We may be certain, therefore, that these rumours of a murder (the brutal stabbing of a City Councillor, no less!) are nothing more than lurid fabrications. The supposition that the murder weapon is missing, or that it could have been — as hysterical conjecture has claimed — a "potent weapon", capable of injuring a Citizen within the haven of the City, is equally absurd. The idea that a guerrilla war has already begun in one of our less harmonious enclaves need not be dignified with refutation.
Please go about your business, Citizens, as normal. We are perfectly safe, here in the City. Humanity has never been safer.

Propaganda
The first ever adaption of Shada and one of the only fan novelisations (anonymous)
Harvest of Time
Synopsis

The Card Game at the End of the Galaxy.
Tumblr media
They got the Lady as repaired as one could hope. The damned whales apparently used the refined Clouzon fuels to come back here to die after spawning. The Chimaera's crew had been too busy dying or with damage control to see the beasties having it off in hyperspace. Grace and Little Gods only knew if she'd hold together making the jump, but with the materials of other crashed ships, they'd been able to put her back together.
Shipwide Communication: All Hands
ALL ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL INDICATED FOR COLD SLEEP HAVE RECEIVED THEIR THORACIC PORTS AND BACTA TREATMENT.
PREPARATION FOR NON-EMERGENCY COLDSLEEP:
Your groups will be called by MOS and rank. Do not wait in the medbay corridors.
No food after 00:00 - clear liquids only. Take the intestinal prep at the same time.
At 06:00 leave your quarters wearing the hooded jumpsuit provided. Your possessions will be stored away for you.
In the staging area wait to be called with your group. Please do not bring anything with you such as datapads, reading material, or your personal comlinks.
We will soon be home.
They will soon regret it.
Long live the Empire.
CMDE Albus Marinith, ISD Chimaera FLAG, 7th Fleet,
GADM Mitth'raw'nuruodo, ISD Chimaera FLAG, 7th Fleet
~
They were good soldiers and sailors of the Empire, and rather than await a lingering death from starvation and thirst - or eating dead whale meat (barf) - his Humans got to work. Thrawn, of course, didn't know this. He was in and out of coldsleep, medbeds, bacta tanks, and surgery. His Humans were as determined to save him as they were to get home. They were shocked silly when three crones suddenly appeared on the auxiliary bridge, and the Three Mothers almost joined their sisters before Thrawn stopped them.
They had something to offer - and they wanted something in return.
A way to communicate with the galaxy far, far away. A way to rally the resources needed to return home. The hyperlanes were purgill migration routes, the purgill one of the oldest species not just in the galaxy, but in the universe, and a species eating itself out of existence. They came here to spawn, then die, their bones filled with Clouzon, the ships that ran on it the only way for them to get home. With a ring based on the old Jedi fighter hyperspace rings, the Chimaera could fly again. It would take the Mothers back to Dathomir, and the crew of the Chimaera back home.
It was go time.
They found a way to mine the bone belt, then vaporize the bones in a plasma engine, collecting the gasses. The Chimaera's chief engineer's last act had been to shut down the core with his bare hands in a breached engine room. In the weeks that it took to minimally refuel, the air turned stale as vital systems starved. Then, nursing the core back to full power - and holding their breath - engine by engine, they fired the Gemon-4 ion engines and moved slowly into the atmosphere.
Thrawn awoke just in time for the descent.
More devilry, but it could not be helped. Three rickety old hags weighed against the remaining Chimaera crew.
So they are here now, his loyal crew. Almost all sleep in their stasis units in the catacombs. The Chimaera is vacuum tight and as spaceworthy as possible. Bridger will be stranded.
Hammerly shuffles the cards, the chrono counting down to 00:00. Pyrondi has a pile of worthless chips and heckles Lomar and Agral that she's cashing in when they get home. Yve doesn't do goodbyes, and is sitting this one out. Marinith is finishing his last commands and a glass of his Corellian whisky.
Thrawn brings a bottle and takes a seat. "Deal me in, Flag Captain Hammerly."
"Ready to lose your pension, sir?" Pyrondi chirps with her characteristic confidence.
"Hold onto your chips, Commander Pyrondi." Card games such as Five Card Fool Me involve strategy as much as luck. "Remember last time."
She tried to bluff the table with a pair of deuces and fooled everyone but him.
They talk about what they're going to do when they get home. Some of the acts involve improbable uses for Bridger's head, but most are typical leave activities. They talk about visiting family, partying, indulging in food and drink, or hobbies.
"What are you planning to do, sir?"
"Apparently, Commander Lomar, I need to plan on posting your bail." Thrawn let a small smirk flit across his face, making the others eye their cards nervously. "Don't worry about the courts martial. I've had enough of them that I can talk you through."
The runup to coldsleep has seen some remarkable behavior in the name of stress relief, and Thrawn has long looked the other way on fraternization. Waking up in a pile of warm and naked Humans has been comforting these past months. They have never disdained his injured body, and many bear scars from horrendous wounds of their own.
Five minutes to 00:00, Hammerly puts the cards away and kisses them all farewell. Lomar and Agral follow. Marinith looks in and bids him goodnight. Yve's farewell is personal, warm, and heartfelt. Pyrondi tidies the room and Thrawn can feel her reluctance to leave.
"I'll look in on you in a few hours."
She nods, not trusting her voice, and goes. Thrawn would never betray her confidence that coldsleep terrifies her. They've all had the drills, starting with the academy, but this is going to be for a very long time. They don't have enough consumables for the length of time they'll have to wait. Thrawn and a core of stormtroopers will remain awake, with a few officers and specialists to wake when the Eye of Sion arrives.
The prep for non-emergency coldsleep is unpleasant, but he noticed them cutting back on rations and increasing fluids. When he looks in on Pyrondi, as promised, she's pale and fatigued in the aftermath. A weak smile from her and he enters, placing the do-not-disturb on the doorway. He's going to miss her as she sleeps. He will miss all of them. His Humans.
He stays until 06:00, going to medbay and finding everything ready. He nods at the medic to begin.
"Commander Agral, report to medbay."
"Commander Yve, report to medbay."
"Commander Lomar, report to medbay."
"Commander- Commodore Marinith, report to medbay."
Pyrondi is last, and it is for his own selfish purpose. Marinith gives him a knowing look.
The body, reactivating from a cold start, goes through hell. Hibernation sickness can last for weeks if one is not properly inducted. First come the scans to make sure of an empty digestive tract. A protective drink goes down, eye and nose drops are administered, a mouthpiece put in place. Then the thoracic port is hooked up to the infusion pump. There is nobody to see as he takes Pyrondi's hand. She's a good officer, one of his very best.
"Anesthesia in three, two, one. Commander, count backwards from ten."
"Ten. Nine. Eight. S-sevix. Fi-"
Pyrondi's eyes haze, close, and are then delicately taped to protect them. The mouthpiece and airway tube are placed, then her exposed face covered with bacta patches. It doesn't look like her any longer. Thrawn starts to tuck her fingers into the mitt, then looks at the other four caskets waiting, lights blinking. It's not a Chiss custom, but he presses his lips to her warm fingers.
"I'll see you soon, Commander Pyrondi."
He tucks her hand back in, straightens and nods at the medic.
"Coldsleep prep dose underway… now." He can't see the warmth drain from her face, but he can see her in infrared when he blinks his nictitating lid. She changes until her body gives only a cold blue signal. "Patient is stable. Beginning induction."
He waits. She or one of the others waited for him - there every time he woke up.
"Induction successful for Pyrondi, Commander, Senior Weapons Officer, female, twenty-six years of age."
The casket closes, carbonite gas filling the space, the light flashes and then settles into a steady red.
Thrawn nods to the medic, one of the few crew members left awake.
"We'll take good care of them, sir."
"Dismissed."
When the troopers come to take the five caskets, Thrawn turns and walks away.
Now all he has to do is wait.

Rules: Pick any ten of your fics, scroll roughly to the midpoint, pick a line (or three) and share it. Then tag ten people.
Not tagged and not going to tag, just saw it and thought it would be fun. I am going to do my WIPs to give you guys some teasers of what's cooking. If you like any of them let me know and maybe I'll pour some love into them.
1. A Brighter Future
"Why don’t you like them?”
“How could you be so careless Barry? How could you get into bed with a criminal? A murderer? I raised you better than this! No son of mine would ever stoop this low-” Barry shut his eyes tight to try and push away the illusion Sophia was conjuring from his emotions, tears starting to fall from his eyes when Iris’ heartbroken voice joined in with Joe’s disgusted one.
“He’s dead because of you! It should have been you! I lost the man I was going to marry for a future I don’t even want! I wish I’d never met you Barry Allen!”
“Soph-Soph, please stop.”
2. Cause Maybe You're That Thing I Need To Save Me
"Cisco and Lisa-they're engaged now and they were going through a bunch of the Rouge's abandoned safehouse and Cisco-he found an old sweater of yours and he vibed you. He said you were alive but we weren't sure so we uh-went looking. It took a few months but we finally got a lead and I sped here as quickly as I could to see if it was really true and it is! You're alive! The Legends are going to be so exciting to know you survived! Wait, how did you survive?"
"You can't tell anyone I'm alive Barry, you weren't meant to know I was alive. No one is supposed to know."
"But why? Are you retired now or something?"
"I am actually, so having trouble magnets like yourself show up on my doorstep isn't exactly my idea of a good time. You need to leave and tell your friends at STAR Labs that this was a dead end. No one can know I'm alive, and I'm not above killing you to keep it that way."
3. For Better Or For Worse
“Look,” Laurel sighed heavily, lacing her fingers together over the table as she met Len’s cold stare head on. “I don’t know all the details-yet-but your husband is a very resourceful and connected man, whether he realizes it fully or not. He said part of your vows was to get Mick Rory and you out of here. That’s what I’m here to do, if you want the specifics to how exactly we’re going to pull it off I suggest you ask the mastermind behind all of this craziness.”
“If you think it’s so crazy, why help?”
“Because people's lives are at risk and Barry’s not wrong, if anyone can pull something like this off it’s you and him. Quiet the power couple you two are, honestly. Besides, I’ve never met a person who could say no to that boy’s sweet face. Isn’t that why you agreed?”
4. Got A Lot Of Sins, But You're My Favorite
"So," Angie spoke up from behind the register, leaning her chin on the palm of her hand as she smirked wickedly at Len. "When were you going to tell me you had a crush on the Flash?"
"I don't. I just threatened to kill him-he stole my gun!"
"Yes, and he also looked like he wanted to kiss you senseless while you were pointing said gun in his pretty face."
5. I'd Cross Galaxies To Find You
Waking up next to a crying baby and someone sleeply pushing at his bare shoulder had Barry freezing in terror, not wanting to know how he would die next in this world.
“Baby, baby-go get Nora,”
“Nora?”
“Our daughter, Nora, you know the one you begged my sister to carry for us, the daughter who won’t sleep through the night because she isn’t being rocked at superspeed because her father spoils her rotten. Ring any bells?”
6. It's The Second Glances That Ties Your Hands
"What are you doing here, Len?"
"Well, let's just say my lady and your lord don't really get on–she's cleaning house now that she's free of the Time Masters. Speedsters mucking up the timeline were at the top of her priority list."
"You're here for me?"
7. Love Me Silently
"So help me-you are not proposing to me right now Barry Allen-so think before those next words come out of your mouth."
"See! You want the big grand gesture and a huge wedding to show me off! You want to marry me! He said you'd say no, he said you weren't the type-"
"He's a worried father, Scarlet, I'm not surprised.” Len muttered as he pulled the younger man into his arms, one hand rubbing soothingly over his back while the other cupped his neck lovingly. “Look, I don't want to be the reason you never talk to your foster father again-"
8. You Need To Allow Me To Help
“Did you hear that, Cisco? That dying whale noise? I think it was the last shred of my dignity being forcibly removed from my body, so if you’ll excuse me I’m just going to go drown myself in the boy’s bathrooms—” Barry muttered in panicked embarrassment, rushing off down the hall almost too quickly to see, ignoring his friends calling his name to get him to stop.
“Go after him, you idiot,” Mick huffed, pushing Len forcefully in the direction Barry had disappeared.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” Len answered slowly, his jaw set in a tense line and his eyes hardening over with realization.
9. You Got This Heaven In Your Eyes
'Keep up the exceptional work, Barry Allen, Central City is lucky to have you on their side. -L.S.'
"What's it say?" Eddie questioned, trying to peek over Barry's shoulder to get a look at the snow-white card, his eyes widening comically when he caught sight of the message.
"Uh-to keep up the good work," Barry muttered in confusion, his eyes drifting from the elegant handwriting to the memorising bouquet, not knowing what to think.
"You ruined the guy's fifteen year long not guilty streak and he tells you to keep up the good work?"
"This is weird, right?"

10. Side Effects May Include
“It’s complicated, okay! I don’t know how it works. I just know when I’m not here-near you-it's like there's this overwhelming need to run as fast as I can to this-this pull. It never stops, not unless I wake up with you, when I’m near you-it’s like everything freezes.” Barry takes one look at Len’s face and lets out a drawn-out whine.
“Shut up okay, I know you want to make a joke-but it does! It’s like for the first time since I got my powers I can just stand still or sleep since that’s never exactly come easy for me-”
“Do you have a point Barry?”
“The point is for whatever reason my subconscious is latching onto you. Whenever I’m awake I feel this pull like I’m meant to be running somewhere, but I haven’t had the time to really figure out what it means when I’ve been running around stopping bombs and searching for evidence to get my dad out of jail while also trying and failing to stop the man who really killed my mother! I’ve been dealing with a lot lately okay-I barely sleep more than a few hours a week if I even manage that-and every time I do fall asleep I wake up next to you! I’m having these bizarre dreams you keep popping up in and all I want is to sleep for more than an hour at a time!”

Canon Polycule Showdown:
Round 0
(vote for your favorite! check the description if you don't know them)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meet the contestants!
Starlord/Gamora/Nova
Status: Implied
Description: Gamora has been involved with both men, there’s a bit of a love triangle aspect to it. Peter, however, is canonically bi and polyamorous. When Peter was dead, Rich told Gamora “I loved him too. You know that, right?”, insinuating his feelings towards Peter are similar to Gamora’s, i.e. romantic. They’ve never truly been involved simultaneously but it’s implied they could be a very good throuple.
Starlord/Aradia/Mors
Status: Canon
Description: After sacrificing himself to save the galaxy, Star Lord ends up in another reality, Morinus, the World Beyond the Sun, and is found unconscious by two local nomads, Aradia and Mors. The three start traveling together, and after a year, they invite him to join their relationship, but he doesn't accept until year twelve - when he also finally accepts he's not going to return to his reality. The three of them continue traveling, Quill learning more about the true nature of his powers, and raise a kid together.

Is my friend the asshole for letting someone else sacrifice himself to save the universe?
So I'm more or less writing on behalf of a friend of mine because he's convinced that he's the asshole despite not really having done anything wrong.
So a while back, my best friend (let's call him R), met his late father's best friend (let's call him A). Their entire race had more or less been wiped out, so A had kinda just presumed R dead, and R didn't even know A existed.
Anyways, they spent a few weeks together during which they really bonded a lot, which was great.
Unfortunately, A had been kinda obsessed with bringing back the race, and so he powered on a device which he was convinced would save them. As the device was charging though, it became more and more apparent that it wasn't going to work, and would much more likely just collapse, causing irreparable damage to the universe at large.
Now, it wasn't too late to power it off, but the control module was heavily damaged, and was pulsing off blasts of energy, so doing so wasn't without risk. R being the heroic soul he is wanted to brave the danger anyways, and started trudging towards the module, when A came to his senses and said he'd power it off instead.
When A did power it off, it gave off one last blast of energy which killed him on the spot. But despite this being A taking responsibility for his own actions and paying the unfortunate price, R seems to really blame himself for what happened.
R used to be a hero, having saved three different galaxies a combined total of five times. But now he doesn't want to do hero work anymore, as he doesn't want to cause another death like he did A's.
A new threat is emerging, with entire planets disappearing, and R is very hesitant about getting involved, so I need him back in the game. For this, I need to have some backup to convince him be didn't do anything wrong, so I feel like I need to ask if he's the asshole on his behalf.
EDIT: Some people asked, and to clarify, R and I were both aware of the danger in turning on the device and tried to first warn A about it, then stop him from powering it on when the warning wasn't heeded, unfortunately we did fail at this effort.

I love the High Republic Jedi
I really need to talk about the Jedi in The High Republic because damn I can’t stop thinking about them and the contrast with the Jedi Order we know during the prequels.
I’ll try to keep this as spoiler-free (and coherent) as possible, but the central three books of Phase One of The High Republic follow the events of three ‘disasters’ that the Jedi try to assist with. It’s also a time when the Republic is expanding into the Outer Rim, and when unity is the calling card of this movement. And the Jedi respond to each of these disasters by working together – I know that sounds pretty basic written like that, but these books cover several perspectives as they come up with plan after plan to help save lives, however they can, pushing the limits of the Force together to achieve their goals.
But the Order isn’t just one monolith of thought; the series explores perspectives that we largely don’t see in the mainstream content around the Prequel Era – from newly-made Council members struggling with Coruscant priorities versus the realities of the Outer Rim, to Padawans who just want to study the galaxy, or who have to learn under new Masters when their previous one dies. New Jedi Knights who are given Padawans they’re not ready for. Jedi who question the close relationship with the Republic. Jedi who struggle with grief but don’t go on a genocidal rampage to deal with it. Jedi who go on soul-searching journeys after using the Dark Side to save lives.
It explores how Jedi interpret the Force through different lenses; some understand it as music, some visualise it as a vast ocean, some like a vast constellation of stars. How these lenses help them explore new abilities, but also how they need to look beyond that to overcome their weaknesses.
Then there are whole areas and disciplines that no longer exist in the Prequel Era – the autonomy of Jedi temples far away from the Core and the Jedi Council, raising Jedi that may never even see Coruscant. Jedi who disagree with the direction of the Council, or the Order, and strike out on their own, but remain Jedi. Wayseekers, who follow the direction of the Force above all else. Mediative retreats that can last whole lifetimes, like the Barash Vow. Shit, Yoda goes on fucking sabbatical!
And then there’s the crazy stuff that a lot of Disney Star Wars could never do. The Jedi to ex-Jedi mercenary mindmeld/ drift compatible moment that allows them to tame two dragons to ride into battle. The ancient creature capable of cutting Force Sensitives off from the Force and husking them. Yoda had a non-binary Padawan who left the Order for a hot boy they met at the circus. Autistic Jedi. Asexual Jedi. SO MANY LESBIANS.
But at the core of it all is teamwork and compassion. Even as threats escalate throughout the story, the Jedi retain their respect for life throughout, and avoid taking it where they can, mourning it when they do. And as more lives are lost and Jedi are traumatised by the events they see, they actually address this trauma and how it might affect a Jedi’s ability to keep to the Code. There are no chosen ones or super powerful Jedi that save the day; everyone pitches in what they can to help the greater effort. And its this that inspires unity within the Republic – selfless compassion for any stranger who needs them, who act together to achieve the impossible.
I don’t know if this even makes any sense but I love the High Republic Jedi so much and I absolutely recommend the series to everyone, but especially to people who only know the Jedi through Obi-Wan and Anakin and Ahsoka because it is so much more than that.
And I just know, in my heart, that if Yoda had announced to them that they had no other choice but to split up and become Generals to battalions of slave soldiers who were going to be slaughtered in their millions under the direction of an increasing corrupt Senate, they would have put him in a retirement home so fast and there wouldn’t have been a Clone War.
Just saying.

With the galaxy at their feet, and worlds at their whim, where would the opress bros take a lover to "show them off"? What would their ideal "date" for lack of a better word look like? Do they demand you dress up, or surprise you with a trip for more sentimental?
You know that it's often a reflection on them, right? Who you are and what you look like on their arm?
I think what's interesting about this particular ask is not necessarily the end destination, but what it means for the character and who they are given the situation; what they want to portray (power, strategy, political allegiance), or maybe what they aspire to by choosing you.
No one makes "demands", but sometimes someone will send you a dress or a suit, or maybe a particular flower to wear, or a colour to show social standing... a necklace in the place of a collar?
You see, anon, with these three, it's more than just a game of keeping up appearances: every little detail has significance — the question, often, is what that is.
Often, I don't think you know yourself, but you do go along with it. You trust them, don't you?
Feral: Topside Cinnagar City, jumping rooftops under a sky streaked pink and bronze, chasing down a "little place he knows" that's "just around the next bend" where everyone remembers him. Problem is, everything looks the same from up here: a world faded to elegant decline, dessicated creeper on building sides and cloud cover for miles. The air tastes like andris spice, but Feral's got his hand wrapped around yours as he leads you across the platforms and down into the maze of Koros Major's ecumenopolis to the places where only beams of sunlight raze fingers across old signs and beaten doors without markers. He pushes one inward, and there's only the drone of warbat filtering through the speakers. Everyone greets him. Everyone claps him on the shoulders or shakes his hand, and he tucks you against his side, making introductions, smiling when he tells them what you are to him. The title warms you. Something in old Paecean that no one questions — the only know that it's significant; that you're important to him. It's dim in there and haze-kissed, but there's a little table in the back reserved for the two of you to tuck into, knees and shoulders and thighs pressed together because it's cosy, but he's beaming like the light of twelve suns when he drapes an arm around your shoulders. Happy you're here with him. "What did you call me?" you'll ask him later, but Feral only grins, folding you closer to press a lingering kiss to your temple. "My Other."
Savage: "It wasn't my mother's," he tells you, but he's got that glimmer in his gaze that speaks of trouble. You should never trust a Nightbrother offering trinkets, because you can bet there's at least a sprinkle of ichor in the thing when he fastens the closure at the back of your neck and rests those heavy hands on your shoulders to inspect the jewelry. "It's lovely," you tell him. It matches your outfit. It brings out your eye colour. But it's not sparkly, and that should be your first warning. It glows from the inside — an unnatural shade. "Is it magic?" you ask him, like it's the sensible thing, but Savage doesn't even bother shrugging when he helps you into your shoes. The party isn't like Savage either. He's always decried Maul's soirees as "boring," and would much rather a stroll cliffside in the night gardens where the manicured topiaries offer privacy and low stone benches permit you time with him in the quiet. A gesture, and Savage ensures that no one will bother you the rest of the evening while you're with him: a pretty accessory, dressed-up, coiffed, and perfectly tailored. He's stared at you all evening, leaving you hot in your stuffy clothes and uncomfortable that he hasn't even tried to touch you save for the arm you've clung to, or the warm fingertips at your midback. Possessive, almost. Thinking of the weight of the jewel you wear for him at your throat. And no one else has tried to talk to you. Too intimidated by your escort, you suppose. So you demand of him in an exasperated bark, finally, "What's the necklace's significance? Is it supposed to leave me debilitated and horny?" that leaves him schooling his expression. He fails, smiling broadly as he pulls you to his knee when he sits on one of those low benches; when he squeezes your rump through your clothing; when he slots a heavy hand between your legs to rub a finger against your center to make you squirm for him. Fussy and irritated and itching with the lack of attention. He nips at the spot below your ear when you grip his broad shoulders, when you sigh a little as he parts your folds to fill you with his fingers, when he leaves you stretched and achey and rolling your hips into him instead. "Just a reminder of who owns you, kitten."
Maul: It's not habit that makes you mimick each other's stances: hoods up and arms folded, legs spread. It's his influence. His teaching. You've learned from the best of them. "Patience, apprentice," he tells you. "Your unbridled enthusiasm is a distraction." Your fingers itch for the hilt of your weapon; for another sparring session to divert your brimming bloodlust; a demonstration of your prowess where if you win, you win, and if you fail, the punishment is a reminder to never underestimate your Master. Mustafar is a joke: a wasteland. Vader's castle is ostentatious. They will fall — those that call themselves 'Lords'. "Our engagement awaits us," Maul murmurs, but a smile curves up the corners of his mouth. "We must be prepared for them." Because in the end, there can only be two: a Master and an Apprentice, and you're determined that will be you and yours. "We will give them an introduction befitting your vengeance, Master." Firebright eyes mirror yours, hungry and possessive. "And then?" He asks as you lean in, breathing in his confidence that he's forged you into a lethal weapon. Your gaze trails down his figure in challenge, and stepping into him, you let him feel the brush of your invisible influence: a raw suggestion of tangled limbs and discarded clothing. A flash. A vision. Your legs wrapped around his midsection. Cinder and blood on your tongues — tasted triumphs — the bodies of his enemies scattered to ashes that float around you on the scotching air. You bare your teeth in a smile before you bite at Maul's lower lip, indulging in his growl of appreciation. "A celebration."

The Kai Drew And Bean Power Hour!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is an ask blog made by three(3) silly goobers about their silly goobers
the main mods are:
🥤: Fizz :> [@local-soda-can] (the main mod/runner of the blog)
prns: they/it/he
🥐: Pastrii :D [@pastriibunz] (the main artist!)
prns: she/her
🌶️: Chilli :3 [@chillibeanos] (ai voice maker, also draws sometimes)
prns: any
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Kai is extremely cartoonish and goofy. She likes to go with the flow, she can get into some pretty wacky shenanigans because of this(she ended up running the mafia in her hometown of Unington- don't ask how). Unington is a New Orleans looking town, it acts like a safe space for anyone who wants to join. Almost anybody and everybody is welcome. She tries her best to be as selfless as possible(considering she’s the Savior Of The Multiverse™️). She’s just such a character and even has her own verb; Drewy! You could find her walking down the streets of Unington, saving the day, singing and dancing on stage (She’s one hell of a performance artist!), or working her second (or third, depending on how you see it) job at Unington’s very own Suave Cafe!
Bean is a very goofy rabbit hybrid that lives a joyous life of crime, although they do end up saving anyone who they feel like saving. They’re a galactic and earthbound outlaw, plus the mayor of a wonderful suburban town called Auburn, many of the friends they meet on their journey end up living there(plus their spouses(yes spouses- plural-)). They’re part of The Guardians Of The Galaxy, work with Tony Stark, and they’re a Spider-man!
Monika and Bendy are Kai’s parents! At first, it was only Bendy who had adopted Kai but she ended up in DDLC somehow and Monika adopted her without knowing about Bendy’s adoption. They now take care of Kai together, despite not really liking each other- But they try to be the best parents they can be :D
Sam and Max are Bean’s parents! They found Bean in an alleyway when they were small. The two of them tried looking for Bean’s parents, but after a while they ended up adopting them. They love Bean with all their hearts and try to be good parents :>
Kai’s friend group consists of Hanako-Kun, Nene Yashiro, Mitsuba Sousuke, Minamoto Kou, and Kel Clover! Kel’s the mom friend, Yashiro is the emotional whirlwind, Mitsuba is the instigator, Hanko flirts a lot with Kai (she is an idiot and thinks its all just jokes (It's not)) and Kou’s here for the ride. Even though they come from different universes, the five(5) of them bond wonderfully and love being in Unington with Kai.
Bean and Kai are unofficial siblings. Bean is the older one, and is kinda protective of Kai. Kai is the younger one, and hates that Bean has jurisdiction over her. They love each other :D
Bean’s friend group changes a bunch, but the main ones are Pavitr Prabhakar, Deadpool, Akiyama Mizuki, Chelsea, Link, and Stocking Anarchy. They do shenanigans all the time, they’re just very goofy in general.
The Stupids™️ consist of Izuku Midoriya, Stan Marsh, and Wally Darling. They seem to be.. .obsessed with Kai and never leave her alone(except Midoriya, he’s the only good one and actually respects Kai :>).
Bean has many spouses(about 97 of them-) but the main ones are Leon Kennedy, Scaramouche, and Monarch. They’re very goofy and love Bean with all their hearts :D
Even though Kai has been officially adopted by Bendy and Monika, other people still want to adopt her. The two main offenders are Leon Kennedy (who doesn’t need Bean to co-parent with him, as he can, and I quote, “Be both the mom and the dad!”) and Reese Verlice (Not Pictured). What can I say, she’s adoptable!
Tumblr media
Kai and her friends get into silly shenanigans whenever they can, her friends also act as a “secret service” for Kai.
Kai and her parents get along wonderfully, her parents both do the best they can to provide a nice childhood for their daughter(even if they hate each other-).
Kai thinks her parents' fights are funny, especially when they notice her watching and pretend to be all lovey dovey. Kai can cook, despite what most people think. However, nobody in her large family can cook (Yashiro managed to burn straight up water once, don’t ask how).
Kai desperately wants The Stupids™️ to leave her alone-(except Midoriya, he’s cool :>)
Kai likes all the spouses! Except for Scara, he’s mean to her. (Fun Fact: Monarch ended up rizzing up BOTH Bean and Kai, but he’s mostly a Bean spouse.)
Bean and their friends are absolutely goofy, these people get in shenanigans almost every day.
Bean and their parents are a wonderful trio, there isn’t a single dull day with them as their parents try to make Bean happy.
Bean loves each of their spouses equally(there definitely isn’t a favorite- and it’s definitely not Leon-).Bean hates The Stupids™️(except for Midoriya, they tolerate him-).

Shattered Hero ~ Origins of the Ink Demon : Episode Maka Finale (9/11)
[Save this World (Orchestral Ver.) - Hideaki Kobayashi]
Tsugumi : This must be it. Planet Jupiter.
Meta Knight : So this is where Maka originally came from. This is where her origins came from this planet when the Phantonians have came to this galaxy and conquered it all. The Sancuatry was created on two of these planets Earth and Jupiter.
Tsugumi : So that's why her birth certificate was messed up. She wasn't born on earth, she was born on that planet, it's a sanctuary that no one shouldn't stepped in. I doubt that the author has been doing something with Maka's backstory. Although her records did shay that she was born in 1991. Hmm? What's that out the window? (uses spyglass to see from the view) Is that a Black Hole or is something in it?
Maka : That's no Black Hole, the gateway to Dark Nebula's domain. He's almost ready to use his powers to swallow the galaxy whole in darkness.
Tsugumi : Maka-chan! It's you, I haven't seen your face in three years.
Maka : Well I believe that things changed, Harudori-san.
Meta Knight : Maka Albarn, the 14-year old who was presumed gone from the world and has somehow returned to uncover the truth. You lived and have survived for all these years, how long did you manage to free yourself.
Maka : Someone that I have to believe in the hearts of all. I am innocent after all.
Tsugumi : Hey, Maka. When I said anything about meeting you, you were supposed to be the one responsible for saving my life, but I realized that It means much to me as a hero. But I'm not the Tsugumi that I used to be, I changed. I always knew that I would the see the day that I would see that face of yours. And go by the name Sir Halberd Knight.
Maka Albarn : Whatever you say, Sir Halberd Knight. I'm much more genuine than the rest of them. I only made myself the person that I wanted to be this way! It's not just about the fate of the world, It's about saving it with valor, same goes to Courage and bravery! Well, I'm not that kind of person that needed a helping hand. You sure got everything, that you needed? You seemed kinda lonely without any help from a person that makes a diligent effort.
Tsugumi : ....It doesn't seems right about being solo or have a one man army. Even though, without the friends I need, there will never be a story that is completed. If only there's something that we needed. (Maka puts her hand on her shoulder)
Maka : Tsugumi-chan. The Maka you needed is right here, and I needed you to complete your story. You got a part, I got a part, we all got parts of every story that needs to be part of. So, do you feel like that were in this together? Should we agree on helping out together?
Tsugumi : Hmm...Agree means "Accept", but "disagree" means i "deny it". So I nod to agree and accept! (firmly hand shakes Maka) this partnership has officially forged! Welcome to the story, friend.
Tsugumi : Same to you, buddy!
Ethan : Maka! Take care!
Maka : What about you, guys?
Ethan : You guys go on ahead to defeat Dark Nebula, I'll go stop Magashi and destroy the S.E.E.D HIVE.
Maka : But, Ethan. You sure you can stop Magashi? But this is the 06 and I let everything down, not even Sonic around while he deals with Solaris and...
Ethan : Hey, kid. Look, we have stories of our own, we're heroes. We got this. You got your part and I got mine respectively. You got a world to save.
Maka : And you got a galaxy to save as well. We'll do, Ethan. That's what being a hero is about. It's not about courage, it's about Valor.
Ethan : Right back at ya! (fists bumps each other) Good luck out there, Kid. (walks off)
Maka : ...! Hey, Ethan Waber!
Ethan : What is it?
Maka : I just wanted to tell you one last thing. May the holy light guide you, and thank you for my heart.
Ethan : Nah. That would be Vivienne's line who would say it. [walks away]
Maka : Alright, It's time to head into battle. Good thing I brought this, [pulls out a Chaos Emerald] since Sonic 06's story was reset, It's time that we use with good use. Grim found the Chaos Emerald that it was causing the events of the 06, guess all things needed in common. Girm, Moirai, Tsugumi, Soul. Everyone ready?
All : Of course!
Maka : Alright, here goes nothing...[breathes inhale and then exhale] Chaos...CONTROL!!!
*Sonic SFX : Chaos Control*
"Later..."
[S.E.E.D HIVE]
Ethan : This is it. After fighting my way through the Hive, I finally found it.
Magashi : Welcome, Ethan. You finally made it this far just to reach to the end of your journey. Today, this will be the final battle for us before the year of 06 is about to come to an end.
Ethan : Alright. It's just you and me now. This time I'll stop you for good!
Magashi : Certainly. It times when Earth will be reaching in everlasting darkness, Gurhal has been at peace after the 500 year race war changed everything. Since Dark Falz from PSO has failed to put everything in Jeopardy, I will be the one that shall bring the darkness to the Universe and the despair that shall forever be their gift.
Ethan : I just might happen to be lucky that you would gain control of the universe. For the sake of saving Gurhal, I will put end to the likes of you! (pulls out weapon) Shall we get started then? It'll be just our fight that we predicted it!
Magashi : Rhetorical theory, Ethan! I've waiting for this for a long time and now I really want to see some action! This is a duel that is worth fighting for! a duel to deliver the fates that we carry! Haaaah!! (charges)
Ethan : (charges) HUAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
[the two starts fighting as they clash their weapons]
[The Last Story - Hideaki Kobayashi]
Ethan : Just face it, Magashi! 2006 would've been a great year for Sonic and for PSU!
Magashi : Heheheheh! It's a shame that the Blue Blur himself let himself down after the 06 has effected him and his entire life, but I realized that all of the events of the 06 have been retconed by one tiny flame, and that flame is Solaris! HAAAAH!!!
(WEAPONS CLANG+ELECTRIC ZAPPING)
Ethan : Everything changed in the 06, it changed his life before I even met him! Ever since Japan's population was long lost to Maka, people started to turn against her and to think that she was a traitor to the whole world. But she was never a traitor, she wanted to become the hero that she was and become part of a story she has been! Don't you know how much that it hurt her when others do bad things to her, this caused her to go frustrated because of Soul World, the place that existed within the Real World, the universe that she grew up on!
Magashi : And all to think that the poor girl was frustrated because of Shinra Kusakabe's influence. Despite his loss after his 1000 years of death, he still remains in the Real World as a pitiful lifeform on earth. Desperate to him that he created the legacy that is nothing more than a curse! I look foward to see this day, just as watch the whole star system loses the light and shall forever be in everlasting darkness! The planets and their inhabitants shall forever lose hope, not even you can stand a chance.
Ethan : Last Chance! I do know one thing's for sure...! (Attacks Magashi directly) There will be light for Maka and for the planets, and that's called "Hope". You're nothing without something.
Magashi : I-Impossible! So be it! I shall looking foward into this power I have achieved! You should see the true fear of humanity that lies within all. But still, this is should be the final curtain call!
Ethan : Magashi, watch out! You're gonna fall off! (Magashi falls off) Magashi!....Well, guess this is the end for him.
Tonnio : Ethan! Where did Magashi go? Dang! We're must've ran late or something.
Leo : Guess he's not coming back or anything.
Karen Erra : Is he gone?
Ethan : I hope so.
Magashi : (voice heard) Not yet, Ethan Waber. It's not over yet. I still got something for one last chance in order to defeat you! To all four of each of Gurhal's kind, I considered this as a gift to your demise and despair! This is the true power of Darkness!
*rumbling*
[The Hunt ~ End of Planets - Kenichi Tokoi]
Ethan : What the-!?
Magashi (?) : Behold, Ethan! I shall put the planets into Jeopardy! Whether it's nebula or me, Dulk Fakis!
"DULK FAKIS : THE KING OF S.E.E.D"
Ethan : This is Dulk Fakis? This must be the one that awakens Darkness? What has Magashi been doing with the reactors' lately?
Tonnio : Oh man! He's huge! He's much bigger than Dark Falz himself! Talk about a nasty fight for a final boss character!
Leo : This is one tough enemy that we need to take down in order to save the galaxy!
Karen Erra : Ethan! You ready?
Ethan : Oh yeah, I am ready! I hope Maka and her buddies we'll be taking care of Dark Nebula! But right now, it's this thing that needs to be taken care of! Help me and destroy this thing!
"The Final Battle Has already just begun."
"I, Dark Nebula, Shall forever make this Galaxy in the ruling domain."
"Not even a single heart and soul would stop me from ever reaching my dream."
"This excursion will be concealed to whatever happens to this galaxy."
"In it's primordial nature cease all living beings from across the cosmos...For all eternity!"
~ Act 33 : The Galaxy's Last Stand ~
