#having a day ^_^#I love being kind I just wish other people loved being kind more #people on the internet are SO FUCKING MEAN TO EACH OTHER???? its a terrible phenomenon #I have never seen people in real life treat others badly with the horrifying proportion of hate I see online #please. try to be kinder try to be more patient even when its frustrating #I have changed minds and deescalated arguments SO many times by being kind.#if someone is spouting misinfo in a furious rage and they're saying hurtful things? try responding with patience and kindness #even when you don't feel they deserve it. because one of 2 things usually happens #EITHER. they immediately shift their tone because you're talking to them like an equal and not an idiot #OR they continue to be horrible and it makes them look really nasty. its not a good look!! most people won't do the second thing!!#hateful online arguments has turned my mental health into a disgusting stew in the past #since I started being kind out of sheer frustration my mental health has improved a thousandfold #listen. sometimes its okay to be mean. if someone tells you to kill yourself I dont think its appropriate to give them patience and kindnes #BUT. if you treat someone like they're stupid. even if you're right!!! they won't listen to you or consider your words!!#because admitting you're right means admitting that they're stupid like you think they are. that feels bad so people won't do it #my wisdom. today I am so tired

i'm sorry, can we just talk about Percy's collapse in the museum? like, the acting and the subtlety on Walker's part?

the way by the time he trails off his eyes have already gone kind of blinkingly hazy, he's already losing focus? and then after Annabeth speaks and the camera cuts back to him he's not listening at all anymore, and he's started to sway a little before he finally collapses?

the realism by Walker. like this 14-year-old really nailed the experience of getting woozy and then falling over in what seems like no time to everyone else but it took a few seconds to creep up on you.

can we get some appreciation for the perfection of this 10-second moment. a round of applause. what a dam show, is all i'm saying.

rediscovered some eiden trivia in vampire yaku's rooms (R3 to be exact)!!!

idk if it's mentioned in other rooms, but eito has a scar on his head from around the time he left the orphanage. exact location unknown but

- he needs to part his hair to get to it

- can't see it so he forgets about it

- sometimes feels it when he washes his hair

Reason: one of his bosses [nepotism megadouche] was spouting foul things about orphans

Eiden was so pissed off even after going home that he smashed a glass out of rage and TADA!! CONSEQUENCE[shard heckin GOT 'IM]!

He says it feels embarrassing to bring up his former hotheadedness...how his uncontrolled rage in that moment is now immortalised in his scar..... the sides of himself he wants to hide from others..........

#the sides that are not so great and maybe even a bit scary #but somehow...thru all his emotional strength... mans can acknowledge them #how he says he'd rather not show off those parts of himself but he knows they're still a part of him.....#and he's more than just his history..... one thing thats so interesting about being a vegetarian is you get to hear all about everyones hypothetical activism that they care about very deeply when talking specifically about your diet and why it's stupid, but literally will never bring up ever again in any other context

#good idea generator #ppl will honest to god hit me with a 'well what about the dmg caused by plant agriculture' when i say im vegetarian for the environment #oh please tell me more about all the things youre doing to try to minimize your impact on the environment #and all the things you know about agriculture. in your infinite wisdom of [checks notes] doing the exact same thing you always have #or is the argument that because individual choices make little difference that we shouldnt even try or talk about it in case its annoying?#its not necessarily that these people arent making good points also #its just that when you have these same conversations 75 times over and over and over and OVER and get nowhere #it starts to become obvious most people learn these arguments in order to avoid genuinely interrogating their eating practices #either on an individual or communal level. am not asking you to cut out meat or go vegan (not a realistic demand of everyone on earth)#but i AM asking that you please do some self reflection on why the idea makes you so defensive #and about what exactly is so terrible of the idea that we may need to produce and consume less meat #i thought about 75 disclaimers i could put on this post but honestly if they become necessary it would prove my point

YEAH! :D I'm having a lot of fun anticipating the reveals (and being extremely wrong about most of them) but I am also unironically extremely excited for this game! it is the kind of buckwild adaptation that we both need and deserve (and also I kind of adore all the characters already).

we're never getting a Fourze but. I desperately want a Fourze. 😭 Kiva would also be EXCELLENT, the vampire motif would work SO well with these designs! (not to mention the whole stained-glass theming in general...Kiva had some really beautiful designs going on, just LOOK at Saga --)
