I'm covering books which usually don't make it onto lists of bi representation so if you're underwhelmed by YA or tired of reading exclusively US literature, this might be the site for you!
Reseaching some stats on TV bi characters. A 2011 study by Stonewall UK showed that out of 126 hours, only 5 minutes and 9 seconds were devoted to depicting bisexual characters.
What happened since then, you ask? Seems like no one has bothered to check. This is bi erasure on a meta level.
(GLAAD's reports count characters, but don't specify screen time depicting bisexuality, so the data is really hard to rely on. They count Loki, for example, but his bisexuality is a literal blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment out of 10 hours. And he's not the only one.)

Hey! In case you didn’t know or found me through a different book, I have a spicy superhero f/f romance novella called Cinnamon Blade: Knife in Shining Armor! And the main character is bi and Jewish (like me) and can scale buildings without any magic powers (not like me.) The love interest is the kind of adorable hot nerd who has to make love on her sofa because her bed is too covered in books. (PDF)
The plot: Every time Cinnamon Blade, crime fighter making up for a bad past, rescues the sweet and nerdy Soledad Castillo from bad guys, the two women's chemistry grows stronger. Now that she's finally asked Soledad out, sparks fly -- but is a normal date even possible in a city threatened by aliens and vampires on a regular basis?
