It's 9 pm, do you know what your artist is doing? I'm just over here painting hands, feet and nails. Honestly nails are some of my favorite, and most frustrating, picky little detail oriented nightmare features I like to perfect on my dolls. Swipey post ➡ Well I'm a day late for #mendmarch prompt #holey This jacket was gifted to me (used) by someone who knows I love Pooh. It had a few small holes around the cuffs and I've tossed ideas around forever about how to repair it. Since mom had her full body bone scan today, I knew we'd be a while and I needed something to do to keep me calm, so I took my embroidery stuff and a pair of old shorts that need repairing, and well, inspiration struck. I love how just PRETTY she is. I've extended my cyberweek sale since it did pretty well even without me advertising it. *long post* I'm sorry I've been so blah and depressing lately, this year has been very hard for us, as a family, and me in particular. It was enough to send me scurrying in search of a menal health provider for an urgent visit. With help from a friend, I managed to find and see a counselor on Monday. I finish my paperwork and stuff next week, and hopefully they'll get me an appointment to see a psychologist not too long after that. Why am I sharing this? We don't talk about mental illness as a culture. It's still a taboo topic quickly hushed up and swept under a rug. It's ok to say "I'm not ok". And from personal experience, it's a HUGE relief to be open about it. Yeah, you get inevitable pushback from those who just want you to suffer in silence, or think that you're just being a drama queen, but those that matter will stand by you-and those are the people that love you and the only people that count. My turn to beg

We are seriously in a super tight pinch

Groceries will run out this week, electricity is scheduled to be shut off on the 24th (we got an extension, was scheduled for shut off on the 9th, today). Po box is due at the end of the month or box is closed (rural area, only way we can receive mail). I can't even afford to file my taxes (sole proprietorship). We have many other bills due also, such as a credit card I owe $55 to by the 21st, and a dozen other things, but these are most pressing. My surgeries and poor health/medical expenses put us months behind and we've no way of catching up.

I'm at a loss, we've got nowhere to turn, work doesn't pick back up until next month, so if you could do me the great, big favor of sharing my online shop info I would be so grateful! I won't ask for donations, I'd like to do this the honorable way, I'll even gladly take offers on what's in stock just to get a little money moving towards our finances.

Hello everyone! I am currently down and out with a bad sinus infection. On day 3 or 4 of this yuck. I'm not getting much done right now, and even though I stayed home from work today, I've spent half the day just trying to sleep it off. Anybody have any tips? The best advice came from an after hours clinic I saw many years ago about rinsing my sinuses, it took a day but that seemed to help clear some of the blockage anyway. (Yes I'm still rinsing multiple times a day at present.) If I'm not on my way to better by tomorrow I think I'm going in for some antibiotics, can't afford to be sick, too much to do lol.
