Sheamus had been living in New Rome for about a year. Being surrounded by creatures his father told stories about and children of literal gods hadn’t even been the hard part of the year. Nor was the hard part being asked who his godly relation was only to explain that he was painfully human. The hard part was clinging to hope that Asph would one day cross the Little Tiber like so many other demigods who enter the city for the first time.

What would a fourteen-year-old version of his baby brother even look like? Would he still be swamped by fabric? Would he have grown lanky? Would he look like their mother or would he be unrecognizable? So much time had passed it was hard to even recall the seven-year-old’s face.

He was mid-conversation with his ex-guide and current best friend, Kira, when a commotion was heard outside.

“Someone new crossed. And it made a big splash,” she chugged the rest of her sparkling water (“You drink TV static?” Sheamus asked when she first ordered it. / “You don’t?” Kira responded, downing the glass in one go.) “Let’s go see, Mr. Hopeful.”

“I hate it when you call me that.” The mortal rolled his eyes before slamming back the last of his own drink—a much more sensible Coca-Cola—and following her.

By the time the pair had made it to the Little Tiber, the newbie had already crossed, receiving the cleansing. They collapsed, sending a pang through Sheamus. Curse his bleeding heart. When once he couldn’t care less about children, now there was a soft spot for them. A need to protect them from the horrors of the world. Too many had been through too much. Especially the demigods.

His eyes caught hair that was just-shy of a light brown. The pang worsened. That was his brother’s hair color. When the kid shook the water off, his eyes landed on a scar peaking out from their ear. While not one he remembered his brother having, there was the near-miss in the ER. (“This ID isn't valid, I can’t let you in.” / “Don’t tell anyone, I could lose my job, but he’s doing quite well for someone who took a lawn mower to the side of his head. Now leave.”)

“Hey, they look about the right age.” Kira’s voice was drowned out by the waves of regret. Sheamus had only been a teenager, unable to do anything, but he still felt that he had abandoned his sweet baby brother all those years ago. Was now the time to make it right?

Asph had finally settled into the barracks when his new centurion joined him. “You are requested in the Fifth’s Meeting Hall.”

“The… where?”

They grabbed his wrist and marched out the door, dragging him with. They only let go upon arriving at said meeting hall. “Newbie’s here,” they shouted into the door as they shoved him in.

He regained his balance and stood straight up, hands behind his back. “I was told you needed to speak with me?”

“Damn, you look so much like him for not being blood,” a woman said. She was flicking a coin back and forth.

Instead of speaking, Asph tilted his head. What was she on about?

“Kira, you’re going to freak him out.” A man in his early twenties spoke up from right next to her.

Wait. Dressed only in blacks. Triangular head. Brown eyes. He was older than last seen, but it was clearly “Sheamus?”

“Seven years. Two of which I was stuck at home. Four of which I spent searching. The final one, I spent here. Waiting. Hoping.”

Asph’s confusion grew. “Why would you do that? It wasn’t like we were friends or anything. We aren’t even really related.”

Sheamus stepped back. “I may not have been the best at first, but you disappearing was the worst thing to ever happen to me.” He had wallowed for years, changed schools, leaving D.C. as soon as he could.

“You were such a sweet kid. What happened?”

“I was abandoned!” he exclaimed. “Without any explanation! That’s what happened.” Asph stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

You mentioned in one of the asks that some countries are like a prototype/based of our existing countries, like Germany=Mondstadt, Liyue=China, Inzauma=Japan....

So even though the language is more or less identical for you to make heads and tails in a conversation or writing in a book, the reverse side does not.

Creator!Reader who knows a couple of languages (plus points if they're atleast fluent or have a understanding of it despite not being able to speak said language) and being born from a country that doesnt have the same language as the countries Teyvat based off. Basically Spanish, Italian, Filipino, Scandinavian languages that also have their own way of writing.

Imagine feeling homesick and the only thing that keeps you occupied is the notebook and pen you have while the others converse in a meeting or in a hangout. You started writing in your tongue and re-reading it to relive memories.

Zhongli, AlHaitham, Albedo, Jean, maybe the Berry bros too (Diluc & Kaeya) get curious only to have a double-take and immediately thinks that maybe there is a forgotten land in Teyvat that has this language, I mean Morax stayed faithful to Liyue and Barbatos blessed his country with abundance of supplies and freedom. Teyvat gods and archons played favourites, so why wouldn't you as well? (Bonus: Khaenriah flashbacks) (also I know these arent enough characters but how should I know? I only have a handful of them and I ran out of Primos😭

The people from Akademiya though? I mean they went hard on theorizing and picking apart the language of their creator. Have you seen Matpat's descent to insanity the more FNAF continues to push out LoRe? Thats basically them because Teyvat doesn't have a country based on Creator's birth country. They're grasping nothing but air and dead ends and the only lead they have is you, but couldnt ask because you look so down and they cant bear to see Creator sad....

EDIT 1/1/24: Unfortunately there are even more issues here, and I'm really sorry about that. I expanded on it more in my Eldritch fanfic post in Part 2, but it was exoticism of me to use the word "Huangdi". He’s tried to keep track of your favorite places to be in Liyue too, and kept his near full attention on what you say when he asks after your stays in Liyue (he hasn’t felt the need to pay that much attention or felt that much interest in conversation partners in… decades?)

So when you come out of the kitchen, throwing your head back and laughing, "Sí, sí! It all tastes so close Xiangling! Gracias, thank you!"

He wants… to know.

You notice and look over, a giddy grin lighting up your face (…hmm, perhaps he needs to transform into his Exuvia form and let off some steam, his chest has warmed too much right now for him to just be sitting here…)

You plop into the seat beside him, but not before carefully placing the plates in front of both you and Zhongli

You scootch around until you’re turned towards him, as always, Zhongli looks… actually kind of, happy?

a small soft smile pulls at his lips, his eyes half-lidded as they meet yours, his usual red eyeliner framing his monolids perfectly, he looks like he’s been,, well, sculpted from stone, an artwork come to life

the geo god’s pleasantly smooth and deep voice felt so soft asking you that, like he didn’t want to push you one direction or the other

“Oh! Right! Sorry, these are from my home country, back in my world, or at least, as close as Xiangling and I can get to them!”

Your smile brightens your face once more, clearing away any leftover stormclouds from your mood earlier, and as you launch into explaining (Xiangling had to get back to orders, so it’s just you two now)

You list it all, the quintessential: quesadillas, empanadas, tamales, chorizo (you had to combine at least 5 different spices to Mondstadt sausages to get anywhere close to the real thing) the dips obviously, salsa, queso, guacamole, and the easy street tacos, and finally the horchata, but also all the weird fruits Teyvat has with chile, like Sunsettias mixed with Harra from Sumeru or Lavender melons with Wolfhook berries… all surpringly pretty good

(the Sun-Harra combo tastes like mango, a sort of deeper taste of pineapple/kiwi and a sort of light orange taste? all with the nice addition of chile flavors, the Lavender melons and Wolfhooks helped imitate chamoy enough that your heart was satisfied)

…you realize you’ve just been talking about the last meal you had with your family/friends instead of the food after a bit, and Zhongli hasn’t said anything…

you trail off and look back over your shoulder (u were practically about to get your shirt in the imitation guac u were leaning so far over the table to point and talk)

you’re about to sheepishly apologize for taking over the conversation, and ask if he wants to try anything (Zhongli can handle spice so u dont have to worry abt that at least)

but as u finally see his face, u just stop, and dont end up saying anything

He’s just, looking at you.

his smile's not huge, but big enough to make his eyes look happy, and Zhongli’s just… looking at you.

You can’t describe the look he’s giving you, but you suddenly feel… a wave of shyness wash over your heart in your chest, because he’s looking almost like, maybe like, he’s sort of, waiting for you to keep talking, his tan skin warm in the golden rays of the sun beginning to set, you don’t know why you’re noticing any of these things, and he gently, slowly, makes a move to lean into your space a little

almost above your armrest, head inches from your shoulder, he finally moves to stop looking at you-

He looks like a painting as he looks down, his eyelashes almost sitting on his high cheekbones,

you have to move your head to looking at the table too as he moved so close,

you feel your shoulders reflexitively hitch upwards as you brushed the hair on the side of his head as you turned away

He looks around, and then moves his head, not his body, he’s still leaning toward you, to look you right in the eyes again

“Why did you stop? I haven’t said much, I apologize, but it’s only because I wanted to hear you without anything interrupting you.”

You cough a little strained, “Oh! Oh I get it now yeah, thanks-”

“I want to hear you more,” his black eyes begin to warm with gold, you can vaguely see the shape of his diamond pupil revealing itself, “I want to hear about… everything, if you’ll tell me? The language, the food, the drinks, your family, your dances, your country, I want to hear it all. Won’t you please let me hear your voice some more?”

This Week in BL - Dog Days of BL but July is Incoming

June 2023 Wk 4

Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs. Organized by which ones (in each category) I’m enjoying most.

Ongoing Series - Thai

Step By Step (Tues WeTV & Gaga) ep 10 of 12 - I’m finding the time frames confusing. Still, a lovely crying kiss + a very high drama-lllama gay confession. Kitchen counter make out, my fav! The actor who plays Jeng kisses at MaxTul levels, which is to say = like a man who has actually done it before with genuine desire and is capable of portraying that on screen. (What makes MaxTul kings is that they BOTH do this.) Pat caught up, thank goodness. Also P’Jeng!!!! P’JENG!!! I love how intimate phi is when it’s been all khun prior. This is the Thai version of hyung slinging. Errotic linguistics, my fav. And ALL the work drama and homophobia fall out when you sleep with the boss. I really enjoy that the angst concerning their relationship has to do with the fact that this is an office romance. Lastly? I love Chot so much. Everyone needs a gay auntie. Also Bruce is SO DAMN GOOD. (I mean we knew he would be from Lovely Writer, but this... chef’s kiss.) 

La Pluie (Sat iQIYI) ep 10 of 12 - There are enough meta-analysis on this one for me not to have to weigh in. Suffice it to say that I like what it’s trying to do, and I certainly appreciate the levels of consent and so forth but I’m not sure I actually like it as much now that we are swimming in high concept. Too much lying. I’m not sure I want my BL to make me think this hard. Also poly, boys = final answer. (Anyone else getting Color Rush flashbacks?) 

Be My Favorite (Fri YouTube) ep 6 of 12 - I love Max now and forever, and I made some very bad puns in the Trash watch here. Otherwise I’m not super invested. 

Dinosaur Love (Thai Sun iQIYI) ep 1 of 10 eps - from Ultimate Troop (The Yearbook people) so I shouldn’t watch this as it airs, after Remember Me? I swore never again. But there’s so little on right now, I’m falling on the pulp sword...  My initial thoughts? It’s an En of Love installment? What is going on? Why all this opening with the sides in a bar? Are we framing? Just move on to the 2 boys kissing! Don’t try to be clever, for fucks sake. Okay, good, the pulp has begun. I like soft wet-blanket Rak and his sad love life. I’m not wild about how aggressive Dino is plus insta-SINGING but I DO LIKE THAT HE’S OUT and knows what he wants which is refreshing. It’s trope filled nonsense (crash into me, instalove, sing feelings, floppy drunk, he’s in engineering, fast and bi-curious) also Dino used ter at first (how forward!) then he went to gu/mueng after rejection, while Rak uses khun & phi/pom. Love this for them. Despite my justified reservations with this production team imma stay watching. I need something on Sundays. * 

Luminous Solution (Sat Gaga) ep 6fin - That’s it? Bullsheiit. No seriously. That’s my review. 3/10 I DON'T KNOW WHAT I JUST WATCHED AND NEITHER DOES IT AND I’M MAD ABOUT IT.

* I got to say, you have only yourselves to blame for Dinosaur Love’s ranking. Once upon a time, I lived happily in ignorance of the Thai film industry. And then you all kept asking me extremely intelligent questions about it. And because I am a nosy little shit, I had to figure out what was going on. And now a BL like this, which ordinarily I would just love unconditionally, is a really scary place for me, because I know too much about the production house. The evils of too much information are all true. Remain happily in ignorance, I advise you, especially where BL is concerned. 

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

Love Tractor (Korea Weds iQIYI) eps 7-8fin - Yechan is such a frank character it confuses all who meet him, also a truly terrible flirt. This is such a puppy/cat relationship. It was cute but it went too far into cringe for a KBL (for me). I don’t think Kdramas are good at farce (sorry), better if they stick with more subtle humor. It was a sweet ending tho, not too cheesy. Nice kiss for KBL but pretty rather than sexy. Full review below.

Tokyo in April is... AKA Shigatsu no Tokyo wa (Japan Thurs Gaga) ep 3 of 8 - Oh, it’s GREAT. Damn it. There is a lot of subtext and things not being said. This is going to be one of those shows where it’s endlessly frustrating that they don’t just talk to each other. The crying first time was gut-wrenching. Ren is complicated & scarred & closed off. Kazuma is earnest & empathetic & thinks he’s unworthy - so will take whatever crumbs are handed to him. They are both giving parts of themselves away in a desperate attempt to shape themselves to the expectations they have of each other. These 2 are gonna fuck each other up while they fuck and fuck with our hearts. Japan is giving us the Bed Friends that Thailand can never even imagine. There is absolutely no guarantee this will end happily (it’s from the Eternal Yesterday people) but it is guaranteed to be painful and beautiful along the way. Oh Japan, must you? I guess you must. 

Stupid Genius (Vietnam Fri YouTube) ep 4 of 6 - I’m mostly confused by the catfishing & tarot side plots. But the mains sure act like bfs. To the point of our tiny jock idiot getting gay panicked by how much bfs they are. Surprise kiss! For everyone, it turns out. Yes I laughed. What? It was pat but also… FUNNY.

Tie The Knot (Pinoy YouTube) ep 3 of 8 - The main couple is adorable, but I’m not wild about the gay bashing blackmail side story. Still, it’s the best we’ve had from the Philippines in a while so I am keeping my fingers crossed. 

Vian the series (Vietnam YouTube ) ep 9 of 12 - Seriously? Bah Vinh = chemistry with EVERYONE. 

Naked Dinner AKA Zenra Meshi (Japan Fri Gaga) ep 12fin - So Souta just disappears off to Singapore and doesn’t say anything to his boyfriend about it? And then comes back with the perfect plan and life for both of them? Oh Japan, must you? Review below. 

It’s airing but ...

House of Stars (Thai Mon iQIYI) 12 eps - I bounced at ep 3. Will binge if told it is worth it at end.

Stay (Pinoy YouTube) 7 eps - It’s mostly English & set in LA (shudder) so I’m not bothering.

Ever After (Pinoy YouTube) 12 eps - Spies reported that it's a real mess and not a hot one.

Stay With Me ... NO I WILL NOT! And you can’t make me. 

In case you missed it

BL Express reviewed The Egoest. Oh boy am I never going to watch that. 

One in a Hundred - Gaga dropped all 12 episodes (c.10 min ea) at once. This is a 2020 Chinese show. It’s not BL. And it has a laugh track. I watched the first & final eps and won’t bother with the rest. DNF

I finally watched the 2022 thing I should have. 

To Sir, With Love - REVIEW

This is a true lakorn with scenery chewing performances from an ensemble cast focused on family obligation and past sins, especially from the mother characters. It is a Thai tellenovella + Gone With the Wind but gay. That said? I loved it: A glorious central brother relationship (the best, made me cry), het romances, class divide + gay *gasp* main romance, the camp of it all! It’s like it was invented by drag queens. Arranged marriage, rebellion, cut sleeves, dramatic death with curses and regrets, beautiful if inaccurate costumes, secrets unraveling, cover ups, sparkle murder, sex herbs, coils within coils including snakes and death by glitter (is anything gayer on this earth?). It’s a WILD ride. It’s not BL. It’s not a romance, it’s a family drama Thorn Birds style but it does end happy for our gay boys. Like Manner of Death I’m struggling to rate something on a BL scale when it patently isn’t a BL. I think I have to give it exactly what I gave that show, 7/10 

I loved it, but not as a BL. 

RECOMMENDED WITH RESERVATIONS (over its BLness) 

Zenra Meshi - REVIEW

AKA Naked Dinner 

I have to be honest, I didn’t really like much about this show. The central premise was too odd and the main character too clumsy & slow on the uptake. I like the food, but there have been food-set BLs before that failed to meet expectations. Too many of them. This one joined that throng. Good ending tho. 7/10 

RECOMMENDED WITH RESERVATIONS

Love Tractor - REVIEW

Most of this country-set BL had me feral for the beautiful broken city boy and his hot young farmer. Hyung romance, puppy/cat pairing, open frankness meets jaded reserve, language play, water hose frolicking, only one bed, all my favorite tropes. This show was basically a light-weight Restart After Come Back Home and I’m not even slightly mad about that. 

But (and you knew there was a “but” coming) something about the cringe of the final 2 eps and the impermanence of the ending (both of which highlight the fact that ultimately these 2 are I’ll-suited: too different & too far apart) left me with the feeling that they probably won’t last as a couple. However, in this case, rare for me, I forgive it this finale for my love of the rest. 

I did dither a lot though, it’s not an 8 but not a 9 either. Better than Love Mate (8/10) not as good as The New Employee (9/10) but in the end I’m value adding up for the premise and the cast, giving it a 9/10. 

RECOMMENDED 

(Gotta say, because this is rare for me, that this had a great OST. Not the credit music but the refrain, Rainbow.)

7/3 Be Mine SuperStar (Thai Mon Viki) 12 eps - JaFirst whipping boy/spoiled prince, obsession, celebrity/mundane. Third-year film student Punn (Ja) gets an internship on the set of a drama. He’s come to learn, but "what lights his passion even more than the work" is leading man Achi, Thailand's sweetheart. Adapted from the novel “The Superstar and the Puppy on Set” (พี่พระเอกกับเด็กหมาในกอง) by Orpheus, cast includes Benjamin Brasier (2moons2), Bosston Suphadach (UWMA), Jo Kavinpat (War of Y), Kokliang (TharnType). 7/8 Low Frequency (Thai Sat YouTube?) 8 eps - ghost boyfriend, celebrity/mundane - Mon's life as a spirit-seeing interior decorator is full of headaches. On good days, he helps settle problems for his relative, who is a star manager. But then he gets involved with the spirit of Thames, a famous young actor who is in a coma.

7/9 Hidden Agenda (Thai Sun GMMTV YouTube) 12 eps - JoonDunk are back. Zo, a college freshman whose never been in love, decides to change it by making the college’s star Nita as his gf. He approaches Joke, Nita’s ex, for dating advice. What he fails to realize is that Joke has had his eyes on him for a long time and uses this opportunity to approach Zo. TMS 2.0.

7/15 Laws of Attraction (Thai Sat ????)  Stars the pair from To Sir With Love and with the same production team, cryptic description, but it seems to be Manner of Death esk.

Imma use my hottake post to explain it since I felt I should give more context with this take to explain myself why I have this opinion on the topic of this.

For those who don’t know or don’t wanna look back with the link, it basically that my hottake is that I don’t like the theory of what Crowley’s angel name was/could’ve been. I know this might be a bit controversial since I think everyone in this fandom (not to assume ofc), and whilst I get the curiously since Crowley almost never talk about his time over at heaven, mostly for valid reason that I’ll get to. Before I get into this, I know it been month but I wanna still give that this haunted blog/post does contain heavy spoilers so if your planning to watch good omens or haven’t seen season two yet go watch it and come back here, or you can still read— what can I say, I’m only a phantom that have lot to say about good omens and making it everyone else’s problem. But still spoiler warning ahead! So without further or do,

let get into it and talk about our favorite snake demon and a good old fashion lover boy/girl/enby—

So, okay, seeing Angel Crowley, that’s cool and honestly wholesome— despite the poor trauma he’s going to endure and will sauntered vaguely downward for. I remember hearing the theory about how his name could be Raphael, seen some AO3 tags of Crowley used to be Raphael or just people buzzing what his name could’ve been (even some saying it could be Castiel or Cassiel). And while the curiously of it all is cool, for a while I couldn’t really pin it at first as to why I personally didn’t like it. And Idk if that make be boring or a bitch for not wanting to know, it just to me, I felt why does it matter if Crowley himself don’t even want to remember about his time at heaven?

Sure season 2 when he didn’t even say it might have been what spiked it, but i think the whole point about him is the fact that he clearly moved on from it. Does he still hold resentment? Of course, why wouldn’t he be? And from unfair circumstances too:

But, as we’ve seen from most of the flashback, he moved on from it. He using hell as long as he can (lonely? Yep, which is a perfect parallel to how Aziraphale following heaven—), he doesn’t want to remember the angel he is before, he even said it to Aziraphale when he tried to stop him from killing Job’s kids. But I think of how he’s dealt with is how his trauma grew seeing how he doesn’t want to be considered nice or kind; I feel it goes deeper than just because he’s a demon now, I believe (and this is just my observation), he rather not remember the kinder side he was once before because of how the “light” casted him away and how heaven runs things. So why would he want to be associated with those word when it remind him of his time, he rather not remember it (or in a case run away from heaven as much as he can), he rather associate himself from being mean or remember himself as a demon now rather than an angel he once was. (Even though, he is very kind and I wish to hug him. Don’t start-).

Plus, he more comfortable with his new name now, that’s why he even changed it back at the flashback of the crucifixion of Jesus as his named used to be Crawly (which honestly real.) and changed it to Crowley (now technically he changed it again to Anthony J Crowley, but we hardly heart anyone even Aziraphale say it outside from the blitz flashback, so I kinda wanna count it but I’mma not just incase, but I like the name tho-), and since then, he’ve wore that name proudly and never look back, and Aziraphale an ally he is suppose him and call him by his prefer name. That is him saying “I’m not whoever I was before, so I’m going to change my name to move on from my past”, and honestly I stand, I love the fact he want to move on from his time as an angel/move away from his deadname to be the person he is today, proud of the wily serpent ^v^

“But phantom, that still doesn’t explain why you dislike it?”

You’re right, it still doesn’t so imma explain it a bit more, I just feel it shouldn’t matter what his name was, it really up to his (or Neil’s but this is Crowley we’re talking about) own terms, it him that should be able to say his deadname. And if it never reveal, I wouldn’t care since Good Omens from both season shown, Crowley moved on from his angelic past even if he have the grudges he have now after 6000 years he rather accepts his life now and hopefully with the Angel that have supported him and stood by him. And I know the finally is making it seem like Azirapahel want to change him, but like I said here that I don’t think that the case, I don’t think he would ever want him to revert back to the person he was once before, he could never ask Crowley to do such a thing knowing the progress he made. Like I said and will say again, I think this was Azirapahle (in a poor way given the situation and that their communication is the equivalent of a ghost (invisible as fuck)) to give Crowley a change to fix the broken and toxic system heaven been running on since the dawn of time, to give Crowley the chance to fix what need to be fixed with Aziraphale, and Crowley said no, and I think rightly so in his point of view, heaven did treated everyone especially Crowley poorly and is the main source of his trauma, so I’m happy he said no, it not his place to fix the one thing that in his eyes was broken and have always been. So good jobs Crowley for standing your grounds.

But I’m getting ahead of myself, my point is that, Crowley have moved on and it shouldn’t matter what his deadname was, I think we should all respect that when it come to not just his but everyone’s deadname. Crowley clearly doesn’t have to remember his time on heaven, and I gotta respect that. Because if I was in his shoes, I wouldn’t neither if I was a bit braver than he was.

“But phantom what if it was revealed anyway?”

Again I wouldn’t care, like the commenter said (I don’t know how they feel about tagging so I won’t just to be respectful) and I do agree, if it had to be revealed it should be on his own terms. And I do agree, it is up to Crowley, he should be able to say it as it could garner the impactful moment, especially if he does say like “I’m not *this name* anymore” or whatever he’ll say in season 3, (which please let it be greenlit, I’m begging atp).

And honestly, I don’t doubt it really, it seem it might be revealed, which, fine, this is Neil’s work so gotta respect. Just I hope it on his term, and that no one else say it, I don’t even want aziraphale to say it. Just him. He deserve it.

But that’s my take on it. That’s my spew on this. Might be boring or lame to not be curious, but honestly like I said, he’ve going down a path away from heaven and accepted what happen to him. May not be in a healthiest way but regardless I love this demon and I am happy he moved on and I can’t wait to see him again in season 3, David Tennant a perfect Crowley and I wouldn’t have it any other way ^v^

But I hope you enjoy my yet another insane ramble of this show, frankly this show is becoming my life atp and I don’t hate it. Part one <3

Title : hospital scare

TW: needle is a talk, hospital talk, swearing, Shigaraki being a little overprotective shit, AFO also becoming a grandfather figure who's also a yandere :), reader hiding because they don't wanna go to doctor Garaki Kyūdai.

It got published sooner then I expected, it's a comfort story for meee because I have PTSD from hospitals and my health, so I need comfort after a flashback. At my economy exam—, imma fail my exams :(

Reader never liked hospitals or doctors especially Garaki Kyūdai. He scared the living shit out of the reader, but they did need that operation for their hands. Yeah, that was not going to happen

In fact reader made sure to hide in a place where Shigaraki Tomura even couldn't find her: AFO office in the League of Villains hide out. Well, he knew about the room, but he was simply too much of a wuss to walk in there.

Reader had been hiding in that room ever since their papa said: "I'll see if Doctor Garaki can help with your hands, until then, stay in your room, Twice and Toga will read some stories to you."

Reader of course asked: "Would I need a surgery? Will there be needles, Papa? Please, no needles, no surgery." Tomura knew he couldn't say that for sure. "I don't know, my dear."

Imagine Twice's and Toga's surprise to find you not in your room sitting on your bed. All hell fucking broke loose. Mr. Compass, Twice, Dabi and Toga first started to look for you themselves, in the hope they wouldn't feel Shigaraki's wrath.

Kurogiri and Spinner both didn't even try, knowing that it wouldn't safe them from his tantrums anyways.

Well the League of Villains were desperately trying to find reader, reader was messing through AFO's paperwork and making stars on them. As to say: 'GOOD WORK YOU SMART'

AFO had to pick up some paperwork in his office today, he had asked Kurogiri to teleport him to his office. Where he found his paperwork scattered over the floor with a child drawing stars on them. With hands that look like they can fall off any minute.

"Are you perhaps Tomura's child?" AFO questioned the reader making them aware of his presence. "Yes, sir AFO. I am! Are these papers yours?" Reader replied with a smile. "Why, yes, may I ask what your doing to them?"

"I'm giving them stars and flowers for being such a smartie, sir AFO!" And at that moment AFO felt his heart strings being pulled. Okay, he's going to become an active grandpa. Shigaraki will simply have to deal with it. "Why, thank you. But, call me grandpa, after all I am your papa's father."

"Kay Kay! Ouch..." Readers hands started bleeding again, and AFO could hear his successor yelling at the other league members.

"YOU MORONS LOST THEM?! HOW MUCH OF A FUCKING IMBECILE ARE YOU ALL?! THEIR HANDS COULD START BLEEDING WITH TOO MUCH MOVEMENTS! IF I FIND THEM WITH A SPECK OF BLOOD DROPPING OUT OF THEIR HANDS I'M GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU!" Reader whined at the loud yelling, obviously Shigaraki couldn't hear them. Reader and AFO were way back in the bar.

"Would you like for me to heal your hands?" AFO asked reader. "Would you have to use Needles? Or do I gotta have a surgery?" Reader was on the verge of crying. "No, no, I'll just need 5 seconds to do so." AFO sat down on his office chair and mentioned for reader to sit on his lap. Reader did just that. "Now hold your hands up and close your eyes." AFO instructed, and just in 5 seconds their hands where back to normal. "Thank you grandpa!"

And just on cue Shigaraki stormed in. "READER, DON'T YOU KNOW HOW WORRIED I WAS! MASTER COULDN'T YOU HAVE INFORMED ME THEY WERE HERE?!"

"Tomura, perhaps you should take care of your child better. Their hands were all cut open."

"That's because I just devolped my quirk, grandpa. And I didn't wanna go to doctor, doctor is scary with all the needles and hospital." Reader told AFO, they didn't want their papa to be scolded. "But, Papa! Look! Grandpa healed my hands!" Reader jumped off AFO' s lap and ran to Tomura to show them.

Tomura picked them up and started to cuddle the life out of them. "Never scare me like that again or I swear to God, I will never let you leave this house again.." AFO could cleary see how his son loved his child. "How about watching a Disney movie together?" he suggested. "Huh?" Tomura was shocked, his master is normally very private. "Well, I would like to get to know the League better and my grandchild."

"PLEASE PAPA! LET'S DO A DISNEY MOVIE NIGHT!" Reader chimed in. But Tomura didn't feel like his master wanted to get to know the league. Just his child... "Fine." Tomura couldn't help it, seeing his baby so excited. "But I get to be Elsa this one." he told reader. "Then grandpa has to be Bruno from enchanto!"

If readers family werent villains they would call them a happy family but a chaotic bunch of uncles and aunt who need some therapy.

So sorry if the story is a bit bad, I kept going in and out of a PTSD attack. I'll probably edit it when I feel better. Advice is appreciated, thank you all for reading.

So I noticed that Sebastian has now asked, in various interviews, three different actresses to star in a romcom with him 😅 (Daisy Edgar-Jones, Margot Robbie and now Jennifer Aniston) and he’s also talked about wanting to play a character that’s more neurotic (resembling himself) so don’t worry babe Imma make your dream come true😘 … here’s my quick, basic pitch that I came up with in like 20 mins whilst my 2 year old napped (and I should have been using that time to get some work done) where he can incorporate all three ladies 🫣

Andrei (Sebastian) is a shy, introverted and socially awkward (Seb’s personality exaggerated for comedy purposes ) 38 year old, who has never been in a serious relationship before (his longest relationship only lasted a few months). He lives alone in a studio apartment in New York and has very few friends, he mostly works from home as a freelance web designer, hangs out with his pet cat ‘Harold’ and goes to the gym (he’s just started working out again after letting himself go during covid). 

The manager of his gym is a loud, confident (himbo) man named Danny (played by none other than the bearded and handsome Chris Evans) He’s a total gym bro and is everything that Andrei isn’t; charming, extroverted and self assured . He plays the Rom-Com trope of the ‘best friend’ offering advice/ reacting to Andrei’s love life etc .. Throughout the movie we often see Danny with/ talking to a beautiful blonde woman (Margot Robbie).

One day whilst checking his Facebook Andrei gets an invitation to his 20 year high school graduation, (🌀we flashback to see that he was a complete ‘loser’ in high school and got bullied a lot for being a shy computer geek🌀). Maybe the organiser tags him and asks how many guests he’s bringing and he panics because everyone on the event page is commenting that they are bringing their partner/ wife/ husband/ kids and he ends up telling them he’s bringing his partner😬 .The event is in 3 months time.

The next morning at the gym he’s on the treadmill when he notices the blonde woman bringing Danny coffee and overhears them promise to see each other later. Andrei is jealous of how easy Danny finds it to talk with women, so after she leaves Andrei begs Danny to help him get a date. Danny is like ‘nah dude I don’t think I can help’ and Andrei’s like ‘I know I’m a hopeless case, but I’m desperate’ anyway eventually he succeeds in convincing a reluctant Danny and he agrees to be his personal trainer/ lifestyle coach. Insert homage to romcoms past where they get him a haircut, shave, new clothes and a lengthy sequence of them lifting weights together 😉

Danny’s says he needs to start a tinder and helps Andrei set one up (Danny teaching him how to take thirst traps) then he matches with 💃🏻Laura (Daisy), an NYU student from London. He dates Laura for a little bit, she’s 23 and a typical London socialite party girl, she takes him out to crazy parties where he’s the oldest person there and comically out of his comfort zone. He can’t keep up with her and her friends antics, doesn’t understand their jokes/slang and he tries to keep pace with their drinking and just ends up embarrassing her. And maybe a there’s a bit where she calls him ‘Daddy’ during sex 😂 and he tries to ‘play the part’ to cringeworthy results because that’s just not his personality. Meanwhile we keep cutting to scenes of him at the gym with Danny who’s trying to coach him to be more confident and better at flirting.

It doesn’t work out with Laura, she dumps him. Next up is 🍸Camille (Jennifer Aniston) who he meets at one of Danny’s spinning classes. After the class she corners him and she compliments him on his progress. When she leaves Danny informs him that ‘bro she was totally hitting on you’, (much to Andrei’s shock) encourages him to ask her out on a date. Maybe an older woman is more suited to him than a college student ? So he starts dating Camille, who is a sophisticated business owner and has two teenage sons from her previous marriage. Again Andrei is completely out of his depth, he tries to fit in with all her friends but fails miserably (insert dinner party scene where he panics in the bathroom before the guests arrive and then somehow embarrasses himself terribly at the table) and her two sons also hate him, they keep making fun of him, he tries to follow more of Danny’s advice to bond with them over a football game, but he knows nothing about football and it’s obvious. Eventually it doesn’t work out and Camille dumps him too. Throughout this we keep cutting back to Danny where he’s exasperated with Andrei’s exploits and keeps giving more pointers and advice, ultimately he keeps encouraging him to be himself and stop pretending to be something he’s not.

With time running out before the reunion Danny tells him he’s going to set him up with his cousin Paige (Margot Robbie) who is new to the city. Andrei is shocked at the revelation that Paige isn’t Danny’s gf, and agrees to go on a date because she is closer to his age and beautiful. Despite her being the perfect match in lots of ways (it turns out they have a lot in common) there isn’t a ✨spark✨ At the end of the date Andrei asks if she wants to go on a second date and she tells him that she sees him more as a friend .

He offers to walk her home, but she tells him that she is going to go and meet Danny at his work because he’s been having a hard time recently and an oblivious Andrei is like ???🤔 ‘what I worked out with him this morning and he seemed totally normal?’. And Paige is then like ‘wait! you’re the guy he’s been training everyday for months ?’ She reveals that Danny has had a huge crush on Andrei and has been moping about it for weeks😧Andrei is shocked to discover that Danny isn’t the stereotypical ‘ladies man’ he thought he was and has his own ✨bisexual awakening ✨ and realises the perfect person for him was his hunky gym bro all along. This leads to the classic Romcom trope of Andrei running through the New York streets to the gym and awkwardly interrupting a fitness class to tell Danny he wants to go on a date with him (every confession in a rom com has to have an audience) and Danny says yes and everyone applauds👏🏼 (because it’s a romcom 😂)

It’s working title is

‘Third times a charm’

Voilà … so yeah, this is cheesy, bad and tropey as hell, but it was fun to come up with haha. also I’ve not made a tumblr post like this before so if it’s formatted bad or something I’m still learning (I’m normally a lurker😅)

I have a baby sano request!

Can you make a angsty story. The time of whats going on in the manga now. So baby soan is acutely a little younger than senju and is in the second gen Tokyo manji gang she she became the Captain of the gang and in the fight against kanto and baby sano goes in the middle to find mikey and when she gets to him she looks in horror to see that mikey hurt someone pretty bad and then she sees there body and mikey covered in blood thats not his own and starts trembling and shaking, mikey then turns and looks at her and walk closer and she falls to the ground with tears falling down her face shaking more and puts her hands up in defiance and whimpers "please mikey, dont hurt me please"

Mikey then starts at her and looks at the blood on his hands taken aback by her words and gets a flashback of when they were still kids, mikey made a promise to never let anything happen to baby sano and to always protect her no matter what. Mikey then comes back to reality everything quiet no sound like he was frozen in time, only seeing himself and y/n. Mikey looks down at his niece and falls to his knees and starts to cry shaking, realizing what he was about to do and all the things he has done, and grabbed little sano and pulls her into a hug crying that hes sorry and so sorry that he almost killed her, she hugs back and cries with him and they hold eachother tight.

So baby sano is around 8/9 when Kanto and Toman fight. Imma indulge and say Tadashi and Takamichi allowed her to join Toman but they told her to stay on the side lines as a last resort for when they can't get to Mikey, she surely will.

But once she had spotted his familiar figure she rushed to go beg him, pushing past the fighting boys. Reaching towards her uncle only to stop when she saw him standing over an unfamiliar body. Her eyes widening in fear as she glanced towards Mikey spotting the blood that was covering him.

He must have sense her presence because he had turned towards her, making his way over to her. This wasn't the happy Mikey she remembered the one who promised that he would keep her save. The girl teared up as she stumbled back to keep her distance from him. This Mikey scared her, the girl let out a startled yelp as she fell backwards and onto her back.

Shaking and trembling while Mikey kept walking to her, she was quick to cover her face. "Mikey No! Don't hurt me!" She shrieked out tearing up at the male. Mikey froze hearing that familiar voice, one he has heard in a year. His eyes widen as his mind cleared spotting (Y/n), on the dirt who looked at him with fear.

It had hit him

That his dark impulse had nearly caused him to kill his niece, someone he had swore to protect and keep happy. Seeing her crying and begging him not to hurt her, caused the blond to tear up as well. He quickly stumbled forward kneeling down next to her, his heart breaking as she flinched when he pulled her into a hug.

"I'm sorry ...I'm sorry "

He kept mumbling into her hair, keeping the girl close to him. Both the Sanos crying as the held onto each, Mikey had pulled the girl to sit with him. Keeping her safe in his arms. "(Y/n) chii shouldn't be here..."

Transformers: Prime- Mirage

Full prologue to this new mirage series imma start. Hahahaha im super excited to dig deeper into this universe! Especially for mirage. And this Oc im super proud of her. I’ll describe her description soon enough and i have art of her already :) without further ado, enjoy.

Gun and blaster fire surrounded them as Decepticons shot at the Iacon Hall of Records. Megatron led the front barking orders to his Decepticon lackies. Explosions echo as the door to the building. "Mirage, you copy? Are the cons in yet?" A female voice spoke into his audio receptors.

"Loud and clear Swifty," he muttered under his breath, "con are just busting in, you ready with evac?" He ran through the blaster fire to be the first to Iacon consoles. Quickly getting to work downloading bits of Iacons database down to a data chip. "Come on, come one. Hurry up!" Mirage pressed buttons on the consoles as he looks over the information as it comes in. "Scrap, its all encrypted..."

"Just get the info we will worry about the encryption later!" Swift exclaimed, "Just get as much info as you can and let's get out while we are ahead!"

"You can say that again..." Mirage sighed as he filled the data disk.

"At least Megatron won't get his hands on it... that's all we can ask for..." his eyes narrowed with the brisk flashback of the endless war. The lives of both Autobot and Decepticons he had already taken. All those flashing inside his head. "Mirage..." her voice brought him back to reality. "You alright?"

"Yeah... just thinking..." Mirage sighed, console beeped saying that the data disk was filled and made sure to make it seem like the Data never existed. Behind him, the door bashed open and there stood the Decepticon leader.

"You there! What are you doing!?" The mighty con stood tall, casting a shadow on the smaller Autobot.

"Why scourging the databases, my lord." His voice shook with his unease, hiding the data chip behind his back.

"Is that so? Was it, Mirage?" He chuckled as he looked at him, "Autobot turned Decepticon..." his words trailed as he took a step closer, "but are you really? What's behind your back, my humble servant." Megatron's voice was low and soft while his eyes glared daggers so sharp that if look were to kill, mirage would have been slaughtered.

"I know not of what you mean, Lord Megatron." Mirages calmed himself down as he eyes Megatron with great caution.

"Then please, show your hands."  Megatron's tone became deep and dark. One could feel the venom coming from his metallic mouth.  Mirage's eyes widened with shock, he gripped the data chip.

"Scrap...." He scoffed, mirage looked around briefly. Noticing a door to the side he could escape from. If he tells the truth or lies either way he's a goner. "Well~ it's been a good run. See ya on the flip side Megatron!" winking as he made a break for the side entrance.

"GET HIM!" Mirage hears the scream behind him as he ran down the hall as fast as his cybertronian legs could take him.

"Swift, evac now!" Mirage called out, as he ran through the building like a maze.

"I'm triangulating your location now! Just keep running and try to lay low!" Mirage huffed as he pressed himself to a wall, holding his breath as Decepticons ran by him.

"I'll do my best, the place is crawling with them..." he raised his arm and formed a blaster. He took soft steps, well... as soft steps a man made of pure metal could muster. He aimed his blaster and turned the corner in front was well a whole group of cons. Too many to just shoot down.

"There he is!" Mirage shot about 3 of the group before turning tail and running.

"Scrap, scrap, scrap!!" Mirage shot behind him knocking a few cons off their feet. "Swift!"

"Okay! I'm tracking you!" Her voice exhaled in relief, "I'll lead you to the front it will be hot but it is the only exit."

"Lead the way! I have a sea of cons behind me!" Sparks fly as he sharply turned the corner.

"Of course you do!" She audibly groaned. "Take the next right! It will lead you to a fork where you can confuse them!"

"Alrighty~ time to flex my stuff!" He sharply turned the right and in a haze of blue light, two clones ran alongside him. As the fork quickly approached, "yeah, baby! Alright, now where I'm heading?"

"To the left! after that make another left!" He chuckled as he hopped between his clones, mixing them up before heading down the left path. Smirking as he listened to his pursuers' confusion on who to follow.

"Haha! Get fragged you buckets of the bolt!" He continued on, shooting any others he runs into along the way. "Kay, Swift! Entrance in sight you ready!"

"As ready as you are Mirage!"

"Alrighty then..." he took a deep breath as the door only became closer. blocking and weaving through enemy fire. "Let's bail this heap, hell maybe some time away from the war will be nice~"

"MIRAGE!" the mighty roar of Megatron called from behind him, barreling to him once again a sea of Decepticons. "GET THAT CHIP!" mirage smiled as he slowed down at the courtyard's center outside the halls. Smiling and shooting to the hoard of 'Cons.

"Not now, Not ever~" mirage winked as he extended his hand and grabbed the open hatch of his escape ship. "Oh yeah! What a rush!!"He let out a boisterous laugh as he climbed in. As he enters the door, he sees his partner in crime seated in the pilot's seat. Ship speeding off away from the Decepticons. "Wasn't that great Swift! The whole thing went off without a hitch!"

"but now... our home is lost." Swift's blue eyes narrowed as ahead of them rested the remains of what once was their home. "Megatron won... and took everything down with him." She pressed a button, turning on autopilot. Standing up from the chair, she walked to Mirage. "I'm just glad you're okay... The data chip?" Swift smiled softly as she gently grasped his arm. Mirage sighed as he gave her the chip. "For all we know this might be the only info left of Cybertron's salvation..."

"Woah... calm down." Mirage placed a hand on her shoulder, "You heard Prime's message, all we have to do is survive to see it." He smiled at her, trying his hardest to lift his partner's spirits. She takes the chip back to the seat and views its content through a port on the ship.

"I hope we do..." she sighed, as she tried to make sense of the data it is heavily encrypted. "how are we going to make this data useful?"

"I can decode it." Mirage took his seat in the co-pilot's chair. "It will take me a long, long time... but I can do it.."

"Well," she grabs onto the flight controls, "lucky for us, we have plenty of time and energon... for now."

One Week Before Camille’s Birthday...

 Camille and Haley’s Apt

Bo hadn’t seen Haley since the night he took her home from the bar several weeks ago. The thought stirred uncomfortably in his head when he heard the faint sound of her voice trickle in through Camille’s bedroom door. It was like a splash of cold water, extinguishing the heat rising between him and Camille, who’d managed to pull him into another heavy make-out session after he’d insisted he needed to leave over an hour ago.

“I thought you said Haley wasn’t here?” He asked, pulling his tired, swollen lips from hers.

“She must have just gotten in,” Camille sighed in heavy frustration. “What the hell does it matter anyway?” She pushed him onto his back and leaned over him, studying him through narrowed eyes.

He shrugged. “It doesn’t—just asking.” Camille shook her head in disgust and sat up on the bed. “Jesus Camille, it was just a question,” Bo snapped, although he knew her annoyance had very little to do with his inquiry and far more to do with the fact that they both still had their clothes on.

It didn’t take long after he started dating Camille for her to figure out he was a virgin. And although her initial reaction was a giggle fit, it quickly became her laser-focused mission to change it. That much was evident to him. But although the why behind her determination was still unclear, he knew it was either classic sexual frustration or some kind of need for validation—or both. But his argument that he just wanted to ‘wait until the moment feels right’ was losing its luster as the days and weeks passed, and even he was starting to grow tired of his own hesitance. Camille was a classic example of a hot girl that any guy would want to get with. He wasn’t nervous about it, and his body was giving him the full greenlight, so it certainly wasn’t a physical hang-up. He’d taken more cold showers than he could stand at that point. The problem was all in his mind. The closer he edged towards letting go and giving in, the louder it became, jumbled with thoughts, clambering one over the other. None of which were profound by any means. Just a congested mess of ‘Stop’ – ‘Don’t’– ‘Not now.’

“Look, I’m sorry, all right?” Bo said quietly. He sat up, resting his back against the terribly uncomfortable iron post headboard of her bed as he brushed the sweep of his hair to the side, noting that he desperately needed to get it cut. “I think I’m just distracted with trying to write the show and everything.”

Camille rolled her eyes but leaned in, resting her head on his shoulder as she gazed up at him. “You still have like, an entire month before you have to have it done,” she pouted.

“Yeah, and it’s arguably the most important thing I’ve ever written,” he replied.

The morning after he left Haley in tears, he met with a major network, interested in making him a new headliner. If what he wrote was good enough, his act would be filmed and released nationwide. This was the big break.

Camille grinned. “You know what I think?”

“What’s that?”

“I think it would do your writing some good if you let me help clear that head of yours. And if that doesn’t talk you over the edge, then how about this?” In one quick move, she straddled his lap and leaned in, planting small kisses on the side of his neck. “My birthday’s next week, and you’re the only thing I want.”

He laughed quietly under his breath and pulled her face into his hands. “You know what I think?” Camille tipped her head in question. “I think you’re a spoiled fucking brat.”

She grinned wildly, “Yeah? So what?” Brushing his hair from his eyes, she continued. “Whatever stuck-up moral code you’re holding onto? Let it go. Stop following your own rules because it feels so damn good to break them. So just do it. Break the damn rules.”

“Astounding wisdom, Cam,” he grinned before glancing at his watch. “I gotta go.”

As they emerged from Camille’s bedroom and rounded the corner, Bo was caught off guard when he realized that Camille’s loud pack of friends were all scattered around the living room. Several pairs of eyes, all of them landing directly on him. But what really got his attention was the particular pair that belonged to Haley as she gazed up at him from the couch. Her expression was tight, unsettled. But Bo was relieved that, if anything, they didn’t have the hurt or the tears settled in them like the last time he saw her. And after quietly mumbling goodbye, he left.

Two Days Before Camille’s Birthday…

Nick’s Comedy Stop

 

Bo moved methodically around the stage, wrapping cables,  gathering mic stands, and packing them into their hard-shell cases. The theater was empty and quiet, and for that, he was grateful. The show at Nick’s Comedy Stop that night was a packed house, and although he felt fairly confident in his performance, he couldn’t shake the urgency to get back to his apartment so he could get some more writing done. He still had a few weeks before the network execs would be returning to see what he had to offer, but the pressure was on, and it was all he could think about.

As he packed the last few things away, he heard the familiar clank of the door closing towards the back of the theater. Squinting past the bright stage lights and out into the darkness, his hands froze on their way to closing the case when Haley appeared at the edge of the stage, offering a quick wave and a timid smile. She was the last person he expected to see, and after a few beats of astounded silence, he managed to speak.

“Mystery girl…”

“Help me up?” She said softly, holding her arms out.

“Uh—Yeah, of course.”

Just like the night they first met, he moved to the edge and pulled her onto the stage. But this time, it took a little longer to drop her hands from his, and as much as he wished he could stop staring, he couldn’t, even after she laughed shyly and looked out towards the stage lights.

“I just wanted to say congrats,” she explained after a few quiet moments. She turned her eyes back to his. “I heard about the network.”

“Oh—right. Uh, thanks. I mean, it’s not official yet but—”

“It will be—I have no doubt about that.”

Bo nodded, and although he was thankful for the compliment, it was genuine confidence in her delivery that he appreciated most.

She turned her eyes back once more to the lights, and a few quiet seconds passed.

“Haley…I’m sorry again—about the other night.”

“Don’t be,” she replied quickly. “I mean—I probably wouldn’t have been able to remember it anyway.” The sound of her nervous laugh struck a smile on Bo’s lips, even though he felt a tug of hurt because he wasn’t necessarily apologizing as much as confessing—that he was actually genuinely regretful that he didn’t let her kiss him. “Anyways,” she shrugged. “I should probably get going. Let you get out of here.”

“It was really good to see you,” Bo returned. “I’m glad you came by.”

She gave him a soft smile and a quick nod. “Kay, well—goodnight.” Turning on her heels, she moved to the edge of the stage.

Suddenly the only thing Bo could think about was Camille’s words. ‘Stop following your own rules. It feels so damn good to break them. So do it. Break the damn rules.’ He didn’t remember taking the steps to get there but suddenly, there he was—right behind Haley as he reached out and took her hand. Her soft blonde curls danced around her shoulders as she turned, her bright eyes lit with question.

To Haley, it all happened so quickly but yet, somehow,  in slow motion. The moment she turned, Bo slipped his hand behind her neck, his eyes fell to her mouth, and suddenly his lips were wound tightly with hers, his kiss sinking so deeply and slowly, her legs went weak, and she was thankful his arm slid tightly around the small of her back. And it was there in his arms that she hung helplessly as she took in every fiber of the moment. Every second of that feeling of his mouth moving warmly over hers until it lifted, and she opened her eyes to meet his, gazing down at her, wide and wondering. The air felt charged and electric, and that--was what Haley would always recall as the very moment she fell in love with Bo.

Hello, I am bored and my irl bestie already knows this story cus we went to the same school and shared the same class for 3 yrs straight, so imma rant to my free therapist

so u remember my high school right (flashback to the horror nun story). Now lemme tell u how this high school is elite, like always top 10 in the entire city since its formation kinda elite yk, so its really academically demanding and they care a lot about their ranking, more than they do their students mental health.

now imagine 12th grade girls on their last year of hs being given mountains of tasks and exams. Like we had papers with a minimum of 12 pages and guiding teachers who would ghost and leave us on read whenever we ask for counselling, we had practical exams where the teachers werent prepared so everytime we asked for the written criteria they have nothing to give and we end up being given more criterias near the deadline and those criterias would sometimes force us to redo half of the project, we still had daily exams and homeworks and the teachers would still have the audacity to say they're lacking things to grade like wtf, and of course we cant forget the national exams that would determine how pretty our diploma would be, that we also skydived into with 0 preparations bcus there just wasnt any time (i mean this literally, like we only had a few days after the disastrous practical exams before the per-national exams and the national exams immediately after, not a single day of break).

so imagine how it must feel after doing that paper, practical exams, final semester exam, daily exams, daily homeworks, additional exams and hws, and finally the goddamn national exam, and the school still had the audacity to say 'if we rely on ur national exam scores, ur grades will plummet so we will give u final exams. onsite so u dont cheat' LIKE MF THIS IS UR FUCKING FAULT U MADE US DO USELESS EXAMS AND ASSIGNMENTS AND WE HAD NO TIME TO STUDY OR PREPARE

so after a riot where we forced our parents to get involved (lemme say its probably the first time in their 160 yrs of existing that the parents actually went down and complained the school were being too much bcus these ppl were the same that put their daughters into this school bcus 'it's good n will make you adapted to stress n heavy workload') the school decided to cut down from 14 final exams to 4 (we have different categories here, like obligatory subject which all hs major have, major-focused subject only for the major, and cross major subject). the final exams are the major focused subjects

and these teachers looked at their girls, their tired stressed and 'idgaf anymore im doing this exam preparation what they gonna do? fail me? hah! they wont fail me since last graders graduation rate is spread nationwide and they dont wanna tarnish their precious reputation' (actual mindset here)

anyways the girls were stressed. STRESSED.

and the school taught

SHADOW AND BONE SEASON 2 EPISODE 1

I have miXED FEELINGS

After a long wait, I finally get to see my comfort characters (Comfort characters being angry hat boy and daddy darkles) and I am HAPPY

BUT I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY AND I WISH TO NOT BE HATED FOR IT

Forced

Don’t get me wrong! it was good but it felt that they were rushing everything and I don’t understand why. 

Like, I’m pretty sure nobody would mind having a few extra episodes of everybody just being happy for a little while

Here are things that I don’t get:

1. Why is Jesper’s mother alive? I feel that her death was very important for Jesper’s character development. In the book, she was dead and even though it was painful we could see the positive influence her memory had on Jesper.

2. Why did they kill Tante Heleen!? I wanted to see my girl Inej steal the diamond necklace from her and it was also necessary for Inej to be able to confront her without being afraid of her. 

3. Why do Jesper and Wylan know each other? I really wanted to see the evolution without the backstory they have now. I really wanted to see them grow and fall in love with each other. Besides, Wylan would have NEVER had a one-night stand with anyone. PERIOD. 

4. Nikolai’s entry felt so stupid! I wanted a very dramatic entry for him, one that suited his dramatic little heart. I feel disappointed even though I loved the little interaction between him and Kaz. 

5. Why is Kaz smiling so much? I don’t like it. Give me my boy back. 

6. AS IF KAZ BREKKER WOULD ALLOW PEKKA ROLLINS TO BE THE OWNER OF INEJ’S INDENTURE. HE WOULD HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT THE PLAN AND UNALIVED PEKKA RIGHT THERE AND THEN. 

That’s pretty much it. Yeah. 

Now things that I was not ready for!: 

1. Tolya and Tamar pulled their freaking guns out to Ravkan’s while Tolya screamed “Ravka wants a war”. I was giggling the whole time. 

2. “I promised you freedom” and then you can literally see his heart skipping 5 beats when Inej said, “I’m not leaving you.” I saw Kaz rethinking his whole existence. 

3. Inej not realizing Nina was following her? Like, as if. 

4. THE EXPLOSION OF THE CROW CLUB. I WAS NOT READY FOR IT.

5. THE FLASHBACKS OF KAZ. I WAS NOT READY FOR IT AT ALL. 

6. I know Imma to be weird for saying this, but...I felt tension between Genya and the Darkling. Like, I blushed and then had to mentally slap myself for it. 

7. “Follow”. I saw what they did there. I hated it. 

So yeah. That’s it. Now recommend me Kdramas

Hi Cat👋 ! So, here’s my essay that I promised lmao. (I kinda jump around and talk about different scenes out of order so be prepared)

First off, I really fucking love that you give us both Ran and Rindous POVs and I enjoyed seeing Rin’s POV this time. Since we didn’t get his POV until now, at first I was having a harder time sympathizing with him but now that we get to know his feelings and thoughts directly, I’m just so sad for our boys. Both of them want to hate you but can’t, the scene where he didn’t even hesitate to ask for the hit on us to be called off really got me, cuz he could get himself into some deep shit for it.

I like that Rin is portrayed as being very observant I feel like that is a common HC for him that I personally like. But my god he thinks he knows someone so well cuz he’s so observant but it was such a shock when we no longer act like how he thought we would, making us seem like a stranger almost. This is probably a far stretch but I feel like Rin being observant and making the observation when we were all young that Ran already quickly had a soft spot for us makes me feel like even if Rin developed feelings for us (when we were younger), he wouldn’t act on it so Ran could get his chance.

Jahsdlfakjsdfha Rin getting jealous of how close Hanma gets to us fucking sent me, I am dying to know how Ran felt about how we didn’t even move or push Hanma away (I have a thing for guys being jealous/possessive of us can’t you tell? Lol)

That cliffhanger tho, Rin instantly noticing fear on our face (a good scene to show that he still “knows” us). Really makes me excited to see if Ran or Rin do anything, I really want them to but I feel like that would just spell trouble for all 3 of us showing that we know each other. But considering that Ran already has an idea that we’re in trouble I feel like if either does anything it would probably be him.

The flashback scene in this chapter was superb, it gave such good context as well as more hints to things that happened that we haven’t seen yet. But my god Ran going feral for us had me like hnnng 😍. I feel like us taking a big risk in lying for the brothers would be a turning point for Ran and his feelings for us, at the very least him trusting us more. Also, our uncle is shady af he had plans for us the whole time and took advantage of our desperation to help the brothers to get what he wanted 😒.

Ooooh Senju possibly being like idk a spy, she seems like she’s only with this group for ulterior motives. Makes me wonder if maybe she’s trying to use them or stop them, either way looks like we have an ally on the inside. 🤩

Even tho we don’t get our POV during the auction scene I completely loved how we were portrayed as cold and ignoring the brothers, completely understood it was for their own safety to act like we don’t know them. But doesn’t get translated to the brothers, again something crucial going over their heads cuz they’re so emotional over us.

Lajshdlafjk we threatened South?! Please tell me we threatened him in person, I want that for us so bad lmao. 🤣

Clarifying questions, so the way I understand it Munich is a place but we use it to refer to the terrible accident so that we can talk about it discreetly?

So, I know I already gushed about how great you write dialogue but like I think it stems a lot from the fact that you characterize the brothers and other characters so well. Like no one feels OOC and everything they say and do feels like it would be cannon. You groaned again as Wanda poked your sides in an attempt to get your attention. The groan turned into a pained laugh as Wanda dug her fingers into your sides, mercilessly tickling you until you sat up, completely out of breath.

"Never." You inhaled deeply, pausing your soft panting to do so. "Do that ever again"

Wanda just hummed and raised an eyebrow at you as if to say 'or what?'

....

"What are you gonna do about it?" You giggled at the slightly annoyed and very amused redhead in front of you.

"Oh you did not just ask that" Natasha raised an eyebrow at you and started walking towards you, causing you to yell out and run behind Wanda.

"Help!" You burst into a fit of laughter as Natasha ran after you, chasing you out from behind Wanda and around the room.

"Get back here you little thief" Natasha laughed as you ran from her, keeping just barely out of her reach at all times.

"Never!" You jumped over the couch and ran behind the counter of the compounds kitchen.

"Why not?" Natasha lunged for you and you ducked out of the way.

"Cause then you'll make me give it back" You yelled half seriously

"It's my hoodie y/l/n of course I'm making you give it back" Nat groaned

"Noo!" You pouted as you ran "You can have it when you get back"

"Why can't I have it now?" Natasha reached for you again, barely missing as you hid behind Wanda again.

Wanda laughed as you peaked over her shoulder at the Russian assassin.

"Because I'm gonna miss you" Your voice sounded small and it immediately melted both the women in the room.

"Awww! kotenok, I'll distract you, Nat will be back before you'll know it" Wanda smiled softly at you, ignoring the pang in her chest at the way you were with Natasha.

"I- I can't be mad at you for stealing my hoodie if your going to be cute like that" Natasha sighed and approached slowly and wrapped her arms around your waist. "It's only a week medovyy (darling/honey) You'll barely notice I'm gone"

You nodded lightly before moving to Wanda, tucking yourself into her arms.

"Hear that? For one whole week imma be your problem" You giggled and Wanda laughed before feigning shock and fear, turning to Natasha.

"Hurry back" She laughed "I don't know how I'll survive constant y/n attention."

At that you glared at the Witch and grabbed her sides, tickling her and making her fall to the ground laughing until she couldn't breathe.

....

Wanda yelped as you lunged forward, attacking her sides and successfully tackling her to the floor. You took pleasure in the way her arms flailed and she begged you to stop, all the while a huge smile had taken over her face.

"Y/n!!" She laughed, gasping for air as you slowly ceased your attack, leaving her in a fit of giggles.

As Wanda calmed down you stared at her in awe. She was laying on the floor, her hair sprawled out behind her head and a sparkle in her eyes. She had a soft smile still on her face and you couldn't help but return it.

"Hi" Wanda whispered breathlessly with a small laugh and you were suddenly very aware of how close you were. You were straddling her legs, leaned over the top of her, resting on your elbows on the floor. Your chests were pressed together and you were certain she could feel your heartbeat banging against your ribs.

"H-hi" you whispered back before pushing yourself up off of Wanda and helping her off the ground, trying to ignore the butterflies threatening to escape your stomach.

"Why were you waking me up again?" You asked and Wanda's eyes widened with excitement.

"Shit- yeah come on" Wanda reached out and took your hand, your hands naturally fell together, an unexpected comfort that made your breathing hitch.

You didn't have time to dwell on that however, as Wanda was practically running, dragging you through the compound behind her. You tried to keep track of where you were going but quickly got confused as Wanda took twist after turn through the halls.

Wanda stopped suddenly and you realized you were in the medical wing of the place. You raised an eyebrow at Wanda in question and she raised a finger to her lips with a grin.

You both entered the Med bay cautiously trying not to be too loud. Wanda dragged you through again, practically bursting with excitement as you reached a door to one of the treatment rooms.

"Go on" Wanda whispered while bouncing on the balls of her feet.

You slowly approached the door and gently knocked before Someone told you to come in. The voice stopped you cold.

You turned to Wanda with wide, teary eyes and pointed at the door with a shaking hand.

"i-is?" You choked out while failing to hold back your tears. Wanda nodded in answer and that was all you needed to fling open the door, finding yourself face to face with your old mentor.

"It's been a while Y/n" She smiled an almost unnoticeable smile "How have you been?"

"May-" You sobbed, falling into her arms.

....

You couldn't believe it. They'd gotten Agent May out of HYDRA's grasp literally overnight. That left you with so many questions.

"How?" You asked with still tear filled eyes, only to get a soft laugh in response.

"Agent Romanoff is incredibly resourceful when given the right motivation." Melinda raised an eyebrow at you with a seemingly knowing smirk.

You tilted your head in Confusion, causing the Shield Agent to continue.

"Natasha was willing to do anything to keep you from returning to Strucker. Failure simply wasn't an option for her. -- You know how she is- She puts her mind to something it just happens. It's as if even the universe is afraid of the wrath of the mighty Black Widow. --the point is. She wanted to take Strucker down and she put her mind to it."

You stood there gaping at the older woman for what was probably way too long.

"Why?" At your question Melinda laughed again.

"Romanoff cares for you greatly y/l/n, she's not about to let anything else happen to you. Especially not now that she's seeing the effects your time at HYDRA is having on you." Melinda kept her tone neutral as if she were simply passing along information. But her eyes- her eyes sparkled with amusement. She knew exactly how Natasha felt about you, she'd called her out on it the moment they were in the safety of the Quinjet. Natasha had broken almost immediately admitting to these seemingly new emotions and not knowing how to deal with it.

Agent May could also tell by the body language of the girl behind you, Natasha was going to have some competition.

Needless to say she was interested in seeing how this all would go down.

My thoughts on Seabound!!! 🌊🌊🌊 (1/4)

SPOILERS ALERT!!!

Finally Nya's season! Our queen, our water goddess, our amazing girl gets what she deserves! 😍😍😍

What I know about the season beforehand is that Nya's powers apparently are getting problematic for some reasons? Which is a pretty common topic in other shows but it's a first in Ninjago, usually the elemental powers don't have focus and I LOVE that we now get to see stuff like that 💕💕💕

I know there should be Wojira involved, trusting The Island to deliver that little foreshadowing at the end of the episode 🤷‍♀️ Also Maya is back... MAYA IS FINALLY BACK AFTER SEVEN SEASONS YES!!! 😭😭😭

I have nothing else to say, I have no idea what this will bring, hopefully something as good as Master of the Mountain! 🖤

GENERAL THOUGHTS

Warning reader, I might be fangirling to an extreme because I love mah girl Nya and I've been wanting Kai and Nya's parents to be back ever since Hands of Time ended. So yeah... screaming alert 😅

At this point I don't doubt that the intro is great, we reached such a level of animation and we got The Fold 😍😍 Love the marine vibe and how it's similar to The Island, because it's a great intro 👌

NOW I like the writing! Maybe they rushed the dialogue's quality for The Island to get here? It's just fun and in character, maybe it's just me but I'm enjoying it a lot for now

How many episodes are in this? Wiki says ten, then I checked again and it's sixteen like with Master of Mountain... eh, it looks good so far so it's fine whatever happens 🤷‍♀️

Thoughts on how close Five was with each of his siblings as kids? Or alternatively, if he'd never time traveled, how would his relationship with them have evolved? Sorry if you've answered something similar before x

Hmmm. I don’t think I’ve actually ever gotten one like this before. It’s definitely an interesting question. XD

The show seems to make the point that Vanya and Five were very close as kids (it doesn’t seem like they’re quite as close now, but that could just be because of how crazy the past two seasons have been for both of them, but there are tons of little clues that point to them being quite close)

But beyond that, I don’t really know. I’ve seen speculation that Five and Ben were close, or even Five and Klaus. Sadly we just don’t know because there is a criminal lack of flashbacks of him with everyone else. There’s really only a small handful and they’re very brief and it’s mostly in group setting and for the purpose of plot or introductory. It makes me really sad that we just...don’t know.

All we can really do is speculate based on personality and the tiny tidbits we do have. Also imma apologize because this is about to get kinda long.

So here’s my speculation based on that.

Luther: The only one on one scene we really have with young Five and Luther is the argument in the background of the recording room. They mostly argue about Five’s plans to travel. So maybe they clashed as kids? Which I can almost see because Five is definitely not afraid to question people’s authority or decisions. On the flip side, it almost looks like Luther is laughing in the background as Five toys with the bank robber, or maybe he’s just shielding his face? Idk.

Diego: Again, there is very little to go off of for them. But in her book, Vanya does mention something about Diego helping Five with his ‘technique’, plus Five was running around with his knives and holster in the apocalypse. Diego was also the one that yelled “Five cheated!” during the staircase training. As for their personalities, I’m not really sure because they clash now, but Diego did seem like he was a bit different as a child. He still had an attitude but it seems like he used to wear his softer side a little more openly but gradually became more bitter and angry. Maybe they were semi-close as kids? Like they probably still clashed but maybe they had their moments? Again, pure speculation.

Allison: We literally only have crumbs of them in canon and like...absolutely nothing of them as kids. But as adults, they seem to sass people together and try to help each other when they get hurt. Sadly they were both quite different as kids so there’s no telling. They don’t really seem to clash all that much so maybe they were like...okay with each other but not close? Young Allison is usually seen with Luther more than anybody so we have almost nothing to go on lol

Klaus: Again, not much, but Five did let Klaus lean on him during the bank flashback and was smiling so he is at least comfortable with him.

In the original pilot script (which is somewhat different from the final product) he says that Klaus “the floating idiot” is the only one he trusts besides Vanya, but again, the dynamics and details are a bit different so it’s hard to tell. I can see them having a sort of unlikely friendship. They are very different from each other but from what we see it does seem like they got along well enough.

Ben: We only have crumbs but he did call his name along with Vanya’s when he landed in the apocalypse so he was definitely worried about/looking for him. Not much after that but they do seem to be framed next to each other oftentimes in the flashbacks (but that could be because they are right next to each other in number). They are standing shoulder to shoulder outside the bank, they’re next to each other when they are waiting to get their tattoos, and they appear side by side during the portrait scene. Also in the layout of the academy, their rooms are the only ones not grouped with everybody else’s on the main floor. Five’s room is upstairs and we never see Ben’s room but during the flashback with Grace, Ben comes running from somewhere by the stairs so either his room was by the stairs or upstairs with Five’s. I also just realized I don’t think they’ve ever actually directly interacted or shared dialogue AT ALL so we have almost absolutely nO REFERENCE FOR WHAT THEIR DYNAMIC IS THIS IS A TRAVESTY

Vanya: I would say Vanya is probably the sibling we have the most reference for in terms of childhood. She referred to Five as her sole confidant in Extra-Ordinary and also mentioned how she would show Five the new music pieces she was working on. She tried to tell him ‘no’ when she saw he wasn’t getting anywhere with Regard about the time travel and she was worried when he stormed out. She left sandwiches for him. He called her name when he ended up in the apocalypse and even carried around Extra Ordinary to keeps notes in most of his life. He also went to her first about the apocalypse. They definitely seemed like they cared about each other.

Honestly, there’s a part of me that likes to think he had some sort of bond with all of his siblings. Some common ground or special thing he shared with each of them, even if they didn’t always get along.

And what would it look like if he never disappeared? Well, Five seems to think he would’ve been an emotionally stunted man-child, which might be true, but I think Five would still have grown up loving his siblings very much. I think it’s a part of who he is at his core and the apocalypse just amplified that.

In S1 Luther said “ I know you're still a good person, Five,” indicating that as kids, he did think of him as a good person in some capacity.

I think...for all his attitude problems, there is a kindness beneath it all. I mean look at his bond with Vanya, he still paid attention to her even though everybody else brushed her off. He was nice to her even when he was in an environment where it would have been easy not to be simply by peer example.

Who knows what would have happened. Maybe he could’ve saved Ben. Maybe he would’ve stuck with Vanya when they moved out, maybe Extra Ordinary wouldn’t have been quite as bitter. Maybe he would’ve tried to maintain some connection with his other siblings too. Maybe they all would’ve eventually drifted back together. Maybe, in the end, that’s his real superpower; bringing his family together.
