The Promised Neverland S2EP5
aka: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
“Identity” will temporarily relieve some of the stress I’ve had the last couple hours because I have no doubt this episode is gonna bring it all back somehow.
I can’t believe we’re already getting a look at the demon villages.. this is way too soon.
And the four of them have their demon disguises.. which, of course, baffles me. It’s because of the research the GP kids had from their time at the hunting ground that made these disguises so convincing.. so how did our escapees manage to pull it off?
Also, high-key missing Zack and Violet right now. This is so upsetting.
The figure in the blue hood though.. it’s not one of our kids so who?
They’re really at the temple now.. do they know how significant this place is to the story or is this just a major plot convenience? Or are we gonna completely cut of The 7 Walls too?
It really is fucking 2047.. goddamn it.
Okay but the soundtrack is real nice right now, I’ll give them that. Again using the lullaby’s melody.
So you’re telling me the kids set up base in this temple. I’m impressed but also concerned as previously stated above.
Ahh Emma, you’re beautiful! I really didn’t think we would get to see you a little bit grown up like this so soon..
Yvette also has her goggles and Anna’s hair grew out again too.
Our girl is such a sweetheart but please don’t push yourself so much! Y’all can share food!
Emma looks so defeated, aww. (but then again, the anime didn’t make you do much in the span of a whole year now did they..)
“I’m starting to hate myself.” Aaaahhh stop, you’ll break my heart if you say such things!!
Of course Ray notices something is bothering her. Good boy!
Aww honey, I’d give you a hug right now if I could.
“I’m alive right now because I escaped with you.” AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!! RAY!!! This is why he is best boy! He just put my heart back together with that one!
Thoma and Lani have demon disguises? So they’re going to head into demon towns too.. which completely ruins that one moment of theirs in ch130.
The bell rang? But everyone is here inside.. so I assume this isn’t good.
Oh is it that one old demon from ch103? The one that was sitting at the temple feeding birds?
Or maybe.. just a new demon completely. Why the kids are just standing around in the open like this though I have no idea! Unless this demon is blind perhaps?
They’re.. all familiar with this old demon too.
Emma has a heart of gold.
“At this rate, even this town will soon degenerate and become wild.” Oh so THIS is how they’re gonna find out the demon’s true nature?? No big chat with you know who much later?
The kids actually take the peaceful offerings that old demon left behind.. I know they need food but how rude.
“Even demons have families, too.” Ah, so this is what sparks Emma’s “I don’t want to kill them/No more fighting” mentality.. in this timeline anyways.
I’m surprised we’re getting a tiny glimpse of these random demon’s lives too.
Okay wait, this blue hooded figure has a group of four with them..
If this is a time skip.. why doesn’t Ray have his scarf?? First they deny us Emma’s iconic Goldy Pond outfit, and now my son’s scarf? Do they want me to cry myself to sleep every night or what?
Thoma, Lani.. what are you scheming?
Aah they got knocked over..
Oh shit! The demons noticed the shoes too!
Also, Ray’s theme “81194” kicked in! As did his and Emma’s protective instincts!
Who is this other character following them though?
Ayyy look at the duo on the rooftops!!
Look at these jumps!! I’m fairly impressed!
Gilda, uhh.. behind you?
Who is this blue hooded bastard though! And these other guys!
Oh.. uhhh, they got a knife and they certainly know how to use it.
“Emma.” ........................You know, there are times where I praise myself on recognizing voice actors.. but right now, I pray I’m completely wrong with this guess.
The duo’s reaction... oh my god.. no, stop. Shut the fuck up.
!!!!!!!!!!!! .... ???????????????????????
What? WHAT!!! HELLO??? EXCUSE ME??
NORMAN! WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ARE YOU DOING HERE!!
You are definitely NOT the white-haired boy I wanted to see this season! Fuck! I wanted Oliver, not you! You’re supposed to be “dead!”
Are Norman-stans even happy about this right now?? For real, I know people missed him but did ya really want to see him come back like this?
Oh my god.. the other four.. are they the really the Lambda crew? Wait, did we just witness Zazie kill demons?? That had to be him, he has the striped sleeves!
I... haha.. umm.. ???
.... How.
How did we get the see THEM and NOT YUUGO or the entire GOLDY POND RESISTANCE?? What the hell!
Does the Paradise hideout even exist in this timeline then?
I swear, if Ayshe gets cut as well, I’m gonna lose my goddamn mind. The same with The 7 Walls arc.
I.. can’t even function. Any hope I had about another season picking up where the main story left off just completely vanished.. fuck.
Next episode is going to be a recap apparently too.. why, I don’t know. Barely anything has happened this season with how quick they’re flying through literally everything.. so what?
Are they truly planning on finishing the story this season? I have so many questions and concerns but no energy to address them right now.
I know so many people complained about how the manga ended, but holy shit, I’ll take that over this clusterfuck any day.
Honestly, seeing Emma doubting herself (because it reminds me of ch109), Ray cheering her up, and the duo maneuvering through the demon town to lose their pursuers were the only highlights of the ep for me.
I’m sorry, I know this is probably the saltiest I’ve been after an episode, but for real.. the fuck is going on right now dude?
(I had an edit of Norman I was working on but there’s no sly humor to it anymore since he’s alive and well for everyone to see now. Damn it..)

1, 4, 6. 10. 15. 22. 26. 30. 40
1. How long ago did you start reading fanfiction? Writing fanfiction?
Ooof reading? I don't know it was really damn early I think around 12? When my English got pretty good. Writing I started at 15... I publicly published my first fics on Ao3 from that time 2 years later with inglorious Basterds, you can still check that out on my page. They're a bit wonky but eh.
4. Link your three favorite fics right now.
Non Fucking Negotiable by @100dabbo has a very special place in my heart as it unofficially started our friendship lol but all their works are absolutely fantastic! (A Pleasure Trip to Camden Town is my most fav)
Atonement by Starless which is an incredible (unfinished :((() fic of a movie I've never seen but it gripped me so hard
Immovable, Unbreakable by Card_Slash is the one fic I keep coming back to but am never able to finish it's so long it needs dedication and concentration but almost every 3 months I decide to reread it because it shaped who I was at age 14 :))) I still remember reading it for the first time at my grandma's little Soviet panel flat in the summer heat on the tiny open up bed in the living room and I watched as the sun rose because I was so hooked on it I couldn't stop reading all night. I fucking loved assassins creed and that's the only good fic they had but this was THE fic
6. How do you find new fic to read? Where do you primarily read fanfiction?
Ao3 is the one and only 👌
10. What’s your favorite fandom, pairing, or character to read fic for?
Before getting into PB, and the whole Cillian + Tom filmography fandom I was a big fan of and looked up a lot of fics for (Star Wars) Hux x Kylo, (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them) Graves x Newt, and I was very active as an artist last year for DBH (Gavin x Connor / Gavin x Nines) and DMCV (Nero x V / Dante x V) and loved the fics for them.
Now as we know I'm head over heels for any Tom Hardy x Cillian Murphy character pairing and I really wish for more♡♡ also PB: Tommy with Luca or Campbell or Freddie or any other man pleaseeee
15. Tell the author your favorite fic of theirs. What’s your (the author’s) favorite fic you’ve written?
*me seeing you didn't tell me which is your favourite* *attaches lotr meme* alright keep your secrets then
My favourite fic I've written? Eyy that's a tough one... I really love and am attached to All 4 You but rn my Falling For Danger series is so fucking pleasing honestly aaaahhh especially I think Salt and Mint that baby got the least attention out of the three but I think it's amazingly pleasing tbh... it's the start of the mommy kink too ahahahaaa
22. Do take fic requests? If so, for what characters and why?
I would love to!!!! I'd love to write some Tommy getting some good dick by Alfie, Luca, Campbell, James, Freddie, Arthur, etc but I do prefer a bottom Tommy at all times. I'd also love to write some Crane and Robert fics too :)) But I'm unsure about doing them for free I'm kind of a broke collage student and would love a few pounds for commissions so I can get some food for it if possible :/ I know not all of us are in a situation to be able to spend money on fics (even if it's just like £5, been there) but I'd definitely produce them quicker if it comes with some reward
26. What’s your biggest distraction when writing?
I live in a household with basically no personal space and I have my mother and sister constantly come in and nag me about what I'm doing. I say I'm writing. They insist on knowing what. I say stuff. They say oh you think you can have that attitude in an eastern household huh 🙃🙃🙃
30. Post a snippet from your current WIP without context - no more than 300 words.
"And tell me, why would I ever shake hands on a deal with a filthy, low-life gypsy criminal such as yourself, Mr. Shelby?" Campbell sneered, feeling impatient and even more irritated by the younger man's unaffected gaze, "What could possibly be worth so much that I would stoop so low?"
;))))))) oh yes baby you got a big storm coming ...
40. How did you come up with the idea for [x fic]?
Which one????? Lol but usually horny banter in the dms with the right people

Daily Doodle 255 – December 27, 2018
I’m not gonna say this was my plan all along but Pix is super happy with the game~ <3 I actually wish I could play it at home too though aaaahhh
Also, I realized this day was full of gifting all over, wow
Today I woke up to a call from Pix. I then got ready and stayed at my PC until mom arrived. I then promptly left to Pixie’s
There, I picked him up and we headed to the usual Burger King, then I CAREFULLY parked in reverse, taking a lot more caution than usual cuz I’m already paranoid from that accident a few days ago. We then ate in the car
After this, we left to an AutoZone nearby to get a couple of gifts for a friend. I then admitted to Pixie I wanted to gift him something for his car but it wasn’t worth it right now, so that altered my whole plan and I didn’t know what to gift Pixie anymore..
We then left home where Pixie wrapped our friend’s gift and then left again to Alex’s house. He wasn’t there when we arrived after the long drive, but he left a gift for Pixie. A whole physical copy of a The Office season!
We quickly then drove to Pixie’s dad’s restaurant for a bit, Pix having a talk with his dad who asked him to check some tool prices nearby for him. So, we left to a nearby Home Depot to check these prices and then browse around. Pix was a bit ecstatic as there was a chance he’d get a whole set and box of tools! The high-quality kind with lifetime warranty!!
Anyways, we then left to a mall nearby where we browsed around a Best Buy they had opened, then browsed some clothes. Pixie got a really rad bird shirt, so this was the second in his collection of this kind. He also got a big Stitch keychain for Alex and after a bit of convincing, I got Pixie Spyro Reignited
We then left to Pixie’s dad’s restaurant to eat. Pix got part of his food as a gift and it was all really yummy! I’m happy to know my parents are interested in coming here to eat
Anyways, after eating all this food and taking some leftovers, we left for Alex’s house again to gift him the Stitch keychain. Pix also noticed the shirt he got was a tad bit too small, so we said our goodbyes and left to the mall again
On the way there, we saw a stray dog we had seen earlier searching for food. So, we stopped, and Pixie gave it some of the leftover food we had, Pix felt really good doing this and he had always wanted to do it
We then left to the mall to quickly get a different size shirt, then refuel before heading home.. The traffic was awful..
Anyways, at home Pixie left Spyro downloading since discs aren’t what they used to be anymore. We then left to the AutoZone again to get an alternator belt for Wilson as it was probably the cause for all the noise
Once back at home, we cuddled and relaxed while the game still downloaded. It eventually reached a point where at least the first game was playable. Pixie got to it and we got to relive the past again <3 he quickly switched back to the old music, so we got to enjoy that while I watched him play a bit
He left the rest for later as we went outside to work on the Miata with putting the alternator belt. It would be much easier than previous times cuz Pixie’s dad gave him a wrench he needed for it. We got to it until our friend arrived. Pix then gifted him his gift which was metallic red valve caps as well as a crying laughing emoji keychain. We’re all heavy meme peeps, so this was hilarious
Anyways, Pix and I installed the belt and after reinstalling everything else again, Pix turning on the car and there was no more noise!! <3 We were happy with this and then left inside to hang out
We all shared memes and had our laughs until late at night when our friend left. Pix and I then left to a Burger King nearby to get Pixie some food, then drop him at home as we then kissed goodbye
I left home, making it safely but seeing something sketchy with police at the gas station near my house.. Hope it’s nothing.. bad..
Once at home, I washed up and sat down to write the doodle. I got half scolded for showering and being up so late at night last night, so I’ll just leave the doodle for the morning.. Got nothing planned tomorrow anyway, only a few more days left.. I’ll miss these doodles

Survey #175
“imagine living like a king someday, a single night without a ghost in the walls.”
Have you ever had a teacher hit on you? Not to my recollection. Have you ever seen your ex’s new partner? If so, what do you think of them? I don't know or care if he currently has one. Do you think you can last in a relationship for 6 months? Done it twice now, it's not difficult if you're picky and serious with who you date. Does anybody know about your sex life other than your partners? Well my mom was somewhat aware of things that were happening. What was the last piece of candy you ate? Good question. I got my tongue re-pierced because of a bar length issue with swelling, and now this one is just shy of long enough to disable me from biting down entirely (they're snake eyes, so across the tip). I'm only just getting back into eating soft things very slowly unless I want pain, so candy's a no. I have to wait no less than three weeks to get a correctly-sized bar, and it's only been just over one aaaahhh. Have you ever been dared to do something you totally regretted? No. Is your room painted or wallpapered? Painted. What is the best kind of pizza in your opinion? I'm an American I stan them meat lovers. Is there something that someone has done to you that you cannot forgive? No. Well actually idk, I still don't know for *sure* if I forgive him. Like I'm completely over it and it no longer affects me, but I could never ever ever ever look at him even remotely the same or even consider trusting him. I don't think that's supposed to happen when you forgive someone. Have you ever broken a plate/bowl? Accidentally by dropping. What is your favorite restaurant? Olive Garden. Has anyone ever drunk called/texted you? I don't think so. Do you know anyone who has a homosexual parent? No. What type of music could this world live without? Pure screamo (no, not as a carpet term for metal). Are any of your pets “overweight”? No. Who’s the last person you cried over? Does myself count? Did the house you grew up in have a fence? Yeah, but not all around. What’s your YouTube channel name? 0zzkat. Who of your FB friends has the cutest toddler(s)? Uhhhh idk. Anastasia's baby girl is pretty cute, I guess. Did you decorate pumpkins this year? No. :/ They were totally gone the day we were gonna get one (the day before Halloween so no, we weren't that surprised lmao). What’s the craziest color you’d dye your hair? More like what color WOULDN'T I dye it? What’s the coolest hobby one of your friends has? Uhhh. Idk. Name a video game you can play over and over again? Shadow of the Colossus. I've beaten it around 30 times. Would be more if I didn't lose the disc, buuut it's actually coming in the mail now! What is something that will make you laugh instantly? Don't show me that fucking Linkin Park "crawling in my crawl" worm video. Name a movie you wouldn’t watch solely based on its name? None come to mind. What’s your dearest souvenir? *shrugs* What was the last strong scent you smelled? Probably coffee bc of Mom. Have you ever been in an unconventional relationship (long distance, polyamorous, same gender, age gap, etc)? If so, what challenges did this relationship present, and were they worth overcoming? Long instance + same-sex simultaneously. Distance is fucking hard when you really want each other's company, especially for emotional support. Being same-sex makes me nervous due to potential violent homophobics, especiiiiaaaally living where I do. I do it regardless, but even just holding hands leaves me worrying some asshole is going to cause a problem. I know my sister's husband isn't at all fond of it either and I'm 99% sure he's why Sara's never met the kids. But anyway, all those things are absolutely worth it. Would you ever consider something like a poly relationship, assuming everyone involved was alright with it? What are some things you think you would or wouldn’t like about it? Absolutely not, because I strictly believe in the exclusiveness of love. What is the most unhealthy relationship (whether friendship or romantic) you’ve ever had? What made it so unhealthy? Do you still talk to each other? Colleen, probably. We are just about the antitheses of each other, yet we were "best friends." We disagreed too frequently, she was drama-ravenous, we kept leaving and coming back, etc. No, we don't talk now, and I refuse to ever do so again as friends. Have you ever been abusive in any way? Were you able to change or make amends, or, in general, what do you think people should do to make amends in that situation? No. I absolutely do not believe in "making amends" with your abuser. Keep them the fuck out of your life. Have you ever forgiven someone for being abusive or allowed someone toxic back into your life? Did this person change for the better or not? Toxic... you mean Colleen? Did it too many times, and no, she didn't. Do you feel like your age matches your emotional development? If not, what age level or maturity level do you feel best represents where you’re at? Part of me says no, another says yes. I guess it depends on the subject. What is one thing about your personality that embarrasses you, but you can’t seem to change it no matter how hard you try? Have other people called you out on this embarrassing thing? Being socially awkward as all hell, and yes. When was the last time you did something “meant” for children? Do you think it’s okay for adults to do these things (ie. watch cartoons, have stuffed animals, dress in cute clothing, etc), or do you think there’s an age beyond which it becomes unacceptable - and if so, why? I was playing Spyro just earlier today lmao. In almost all cases, no. I do believe that something like a full-grown adult playing pretend with dolls or something may be questionable, but even then there's not a real reason I can give you. What was the last thing to “trigger” you (as in, in a true mental health sense, I’m being serious here) and how did you cope with it? What kinds of things do you tend to find triggering? What do you do either avoid or face your triggers? Something PTSD-related, but I can't remember exactly what it was, I guess because I got past it pretty quickly. There are certain songs I should avoid, I canNOT look at the medicine I ODed on, I don't like seeing or being near large knives at all... If you’re diagnosed with anything, do you feel that it accurately represents what you’re experiencing? All of them, yeah. What is a complaint you have about the mental health industry or about the type of treatment you’ve received from a mental health service? Have you ever had any particularly bad therapy experiences? I feel that too many people working in the field care far more about the pay than the people. I can't guarantee a professional truly cared about what I was dealing with until Holly Hill. I've had one particularly horrible psychiatrist that threw diagnoses and pills around like they were nothing (the most ridiculous being ADHD, which I in no way exhibited), and a long-time therapist I had was pretty bad, something I realized only after I started with my current one. She was strict about that "you've got an hour, you're staying an hour, you're leaving no later" shit, and we always ran out of things to talk about so I'd just be sitting there super uncomfortably and numerous times start crying because I felt so awkward, and she'd just take it as a sign that I wasn't telling her something. She drove "and how does that make you feel" and "what're you thinking of" into the goddamn ground. Yeesh, having been a mental health patient for so long, I could really write a novel here. When was the last time you realized you might be the source of a problem and NOT someone else? Hm, idk. I'm so uninvolved with others that that's a hard question to answer. What are some minor physical discomforts that really bug you (eyelash in your eye, a wedgie, rumpled socks, etc)? HAVING THE BOTTOMS OF YOUR PANTS GET WET. I hate chapped lips, too. Do you prefer vertical or horizontal stripes? Horizontal. Have you ever ridden a motorcycle? No. Are you ticklish? YEAH. Have you ever tried to make your own alcohol? No. If you were to join one of the armed forces, which would it be? I wouldn’t. Have you ever been in a submarine? No. Have you ever been in a hot tub or sauna? Only hot tubs. Do you believe there used to be dragons? No. What was your first alcoholic drink? A Mike's hard lemonade. Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane? Idk, I was a baby. What was your first detention for? Too many tardies. Did you ever have a treehouse as a kid? No. Have you ever been on radio? No. How long has your longest ever phone call been? A few hours. What is a meal you eat extremely often? Or do your meals & food choices vary a lot? Ummm I guess some kind of chicken is common? When was the last time you felt unable or unwilling to speak your mind to someone? Idk. What was the last thing you changed your mind about? Uhhhh how am I blanking, I change my mind on things every five minutes. Who was the last friend you saw, and what did you do together? Sara's both my girlfriend but also the only "friend" I ever hang with now even tho we live several states apart lmao. I was there two weeks, so we did an array of stuff. Who tends to show up in your dreams? Do you ever wonder if you appear in anyone else’s dreams? Hell, I barely ever remember my dreams. Jason still shows up maybe ehhhh around or maybe less than once a month, and I have no clue why other than maybe there's some PTSD effects I don't actually detect or something? It's not like I think about him much, so I really don't see why he shows up, but the theme is constant: awkwardness seeing each other again, and he sometimes tries to get back with me (thank FUCKING GOD even in my dreams, I don't). Sara's in some dreams that I remember. Mom, maybe. What is something you wish you could say to someone who is no longer in your life, or something you wish they could know? Nothing. What is something you do to feel better when you’re scared? I'll usually turn to YouTube for a distraction. Who do you feel you can count on the most in life? Is there anyone you wish you could count on more? Mom. What is the strangest book you have ever read? How did you find out about it? Probably Bite Me by idr-who. I actually don't remember. What was the last thing you broke? How about fixed? Another sensor came off the keyboard. :') I dunno about fixed. Is there a sign or symbol that means a lot to you for whatever reason (eg. seeing certain animals or birds, 11:11 or other repeating numbers, syncs, butterflies, hearts in nature, etc)? Butterflies and semicolons. Hence my semicolon butterfly tattoo. Do you have any personal ghost stories or paranormal experiences? Yeah. What do you get complimented on the most? My hair. What is something unusual that you find attractive? why does?????? everyone hate fedoras tbh?????????? What time do you tend to eat your first meal of the day? And your last? BOY this varies so much like fuck. Sometimes I don't eat breakfast at all, sometimes I do right when I get outta bed. Dinner can be at like almost 10:00 with Mom's schedule, or I may have it like five hours earlier. What was the subject of the last video you watched? I'm getting into a horror LPer and I'm binging her Silent Hill playthroughs. How would you describe your overall aesthetic? I like pink but bloody guts and brains are cool 2. What is the most challenging meal you have ever cooked? N/A What was your favorite thing to do as a little kid? Play video/computer games. Have you ever been close to drowning? No. Do you watch any Japanese anime? Not currently, but I've kinda had the urge to pick an interesting one up? Do you have someone who is protective of you (father, brother, etc.)? Mom and Sara above anyone else. Where was the last place you went, that you hadn’t been to before? Uhhhhh good question. I don't exactly go to new places often. Do you have any bad habits you aren’t working on changing? If so, do you ever think you’ll try to break them? I don't believe so off the top of my head? Then again I think everyone has little bad habits they don't try to improve upon, but I can't think of anything serious. When was the last time someone surprised you with their reaction or behaviors? I'm sure something with Mom, but idk what. Are you good at committing to things like Nanowrimo or Inktober? Nope. What is your preferred method of expressing yourself? Writing. Or drawing if I'm in the mood. Have you ever reached out to a crisis center for mental health support? If so, how was the experience? I tried to reach the suicide hotline via their online one-on-one chatroom because I was too afraid to actually call, but I ended up waiting I think 45 minutes before the OD happened. When was the last time you did something you were afraid to do, and how was the outcome? I drove at night and ordered food at a drive-thru myself. It went well. What is one positive thing you believe about yourself? I have a strong sense of right and wrong. What is something you have been through that has made you stronger? Depression as a whole. Other than money, what is something you wish you had more of in your life? Social life, success, and motivation to name a few. Is there anything that you tend to ignore for the sake of your sanity? Sure. Mental health stuff flares up sometimes if I think about some things too deeply. What was the last thing you argued or debated about? Did you eventually agree, or did you have to agree to disagree? Getting rid of Bentley, and neither, really. Mom knows we shouldn't have him for a world of reasons, yet she refuses to try to find a far more suitable home for him or at least talk to Nicole about it (he's her dog, but she doesn't live here), who's never even paid him almost any attention. I could rant about this for hours. What is something you wish was different about your family? THAT WE WERE CLOSER. What is your main struggle or focus in life right now? Getting out of the house/becoming more of a functioning adult. Are you more dramatic or stoic? I'm neither extreme, really, but I'd say I'm much further from stoic. Are you on medication for anything? If so, do you feel like it helps? Have you ever been afraid to take medication or had a particularly bad experience with it? A lot, but the only ones I feel don't work are the ones for my tremors and knees. I was on one med for a while that I was scared to take because it made me vomit (safe to say I wasn't on it long), and even my life-saver med made me sick at first, but I took prescription nausea pills to ride that out as my body adjusted. Do you prefer having long or short nails? Short, but not too short. When was the last time you had an argument with one of your parents? Idr. Do you tend to eat the same few things all the time or do you vary your intake? Would you consider yourself to be a picky eater? Are there any commonly enjoyed foods that you don’t like? I'm picky and definitely have a limited palate. Some foods I can think of for the last question include fried chicken, BBQ, watermelon, tacos, all cheeses but American, aaaand I'm blanking again in an area I should have a book about. Do you have good body image? Do you feel more confident about your body or your personality? What is one thing about yourself about which you do feel particularly confident? Ha, as if, so personality. I like how open-minded I am. How likely are you to compliment other people? How do you react or respond when you receive a compliment? What are your favorite types to receive? It depends on the person, the atmosphere, and my anxiety level. I sometimes fear complimenting people because I don't want someone to be like "um why is she talking to me?"/"is she flirting with me?"/"why did she notice that?", etc. I become so giddy (at the very least internally) when people compliment me because of how my self-esteem is, and I really appreciate them. The compliments that mean most to me are regarding my photography. With how badly I want to be a successful photographer, people seeming to genuinely like what I do has actually made me smile like an idiot and giggle publicly. It just means a lot to me. Describe the last thing you reblogged? How many posts do you tend to reblog during a day? A clip of Mark having a fit over a dog in RDR2. How much I reblog varies greatly; depends on how much I get on Tumblr that day, what I feel like sharing at that moment, what I queue... Have you ever lost your cool at work or somewhere else important? What happened as a result? No. Do you listen to your friends’ advice when they give it to you? Depends. If it's Sara, I usually do. What’s the last kind of soup you ate? Vegetable. Have you ever thought about getting your nose pierced? It is pierced. The most memorable time that you skipped school, what did you do? I don't recall. Did you ever have a favorite teacher in high school? What made them your favorite? Coach Collie. He was very friendly, wise, his sense of humor was great, he cared deeply for his students, was super chill, shared life advice all the time, etc. etc. Can you think of a time when you were really obviously judged by your appearance? What happened? Not that I recall. What’s something your mother told you growing up that you actually listened to? Mind your manners. What are three emotions you experience regularly? Stress, content, but also discontent. What is your favorite Halloween candy? Reese's. Is there anyone who refuses to communicate with you? *shrugs* What was the last lengthy packet you filled out? Something for vocational rehab. Is there something you still can’t do even though you’re an adult or might be expected to do this thing? I don't have a job or drive. When was the last time you congratulated someone? Were you happy for them, indifferent, jealous? When I found out one of my closest high school friends is pregnant. I was obviously happy for her. What would you say is your STRONGEST emotion? Maybe not the most frequent, but the most intense? And what emotion do you feel most weakly, even if you might feel it more often? Anger; envy (but it's not often). Have you ever gone somewhere in your pajamas? What makes this acceptable or unacceptable to you? Plenty times, but it depends on my level of shits given and the location. Honestly wish pjs were more acceptable in public places cuz like why not, you've got clothes on, just don't go around where everyone can totally see your dick, ass, or tits. Other than the usual things like IDs, etc, what do you always carry with you when you go out? My phone. What type of photography do you enjoy looking at? Do you take any photos yourself, and if so, what types of things do you prefer to photograph? LOTS!!!! I particularly love fantasy-styled portraiture or macabre work, and omg give me soft lighting. I'm a sucker for emotive or conceptual portraits and the like. I like to photograph an array of things, but my faves are nature and animals. Have you ever gone out for the Black Friday shopping rush? Did you enjoy it, or not so much? Or, what’s the busiest shopping day you’ve ever experienced? Nope. Busiest shopping day I indirectly experienced was when I worked at GameStop during the holiday season... nope. It's a small store and it was flooded. I hated it. Idk about one where I/my family was the shopper. Do you enjoy reading diaries or stories you wrote from when you were younger, or does it embarrass you? If you’ve kept them, was there a particular reason for hanging on to them so long? No. No. No. NO. I can't stomach going any further back than '15 at the RP forum because fucking cringe. All old stuff like physical journals and such, they're long gone because I never want to see them again lmao. What would you say was your first true hobby? What about your most recently developed one? Hmmm, probably video games were the first things I was *really* deep into. Recently developed... good question. Is there one thing that throws off your mood more than others, whether it be lack of sleep, lack of food, heat/cold, etc? I'M FUCKING /CRANKY/ IF I'M HOT. Serious lack of sleep makes me moodier. What is one common area of life in which you feel you have little to no experience (college, children, marriage, etc)? Work and independence. What kinds of things are you likely to complain about? HEAT. If it's hot to me, you're gonna know. I'll complain if my stomach especially hurts, sometimes with other pain. Do you like to put any extra effort into your food in terms of presentation, or do you prefer to just put it on a plate and eat it as it is, no frills? I don't cook, so. But I'd definitely be the latter. When was the last time you were mean or rude to someone else? How about the last time someone acted that way toward you? I hung up on this insurance agency or whatever they are that call me every other goddamn day. I dunno about the second question. What kinds of things are most likely to make you lose your temper? Have you ever done something regrettable or embarrassing while angry? I fucking dare you to ridicule the mentally ill in front of me. Goddamn dare you. For the second part, not to my recollection. Do you have a large dog? No, both our dogs are medium-sized. If not, are you afraid of them? Not at all. Do your parents know that/if you smoke? I don't. What is the reason you last received money? Mom borrowed some from me so she was paying me back. Is anyone in your family sick? Not to my knowledge. Are you very upfront about things or do you "beat around the bush"? The latter, typically. Do you ever write poetry just to get your feelings out? Not really anymore. Middle and high school? I was all about it. I wrote only one poem this year. How many bones have you broken? None. Whose house did you visit last? My sister Ashley's. Have you ever bought a fragrance by a celeb because you liked who it was? No. Do you have a gazebo at your house? No. What’s your favorite brand of bottled water? Essentia.

Finally- Tom Holland
Request:
prompt: you find out you’re pregnant and you can’t wait to tell Tom
pairing: tom holland x fem!reader

A/N: aaaahhh I loved writing this!! I love tom so much

Tumblr media
You and Tom had never agreed on really trying to get pregnant, but you didn’t take the pill anymore and neither did he use condoms. You were now married for over a year and when you forgot to take the pill one time, you talked about it not really being bad when you’d get pregnant.
So you were trying to get pregnant, but it’s not that you guys really talked about it. “Well, trying is fun anyways, isn’t it, darling?”, Tom had once said with a smirk plastered on his lips. You had rolled your eyes at him, but of course it was, there was no chance in denying that.
So when you woke up one morning and you felt incredibly nauseous, you didn’t really think much of it. But only a few minutes after you’d woken up, you had to run into your bathroom and had thrown up.
And despite you feeling really awful, you couldn’t help but feel slightly happy. For the last two months, you hadn’t gotten your period, but you didn’t want to get your hopes up.
But now that you’ve thrown up, you were really hoping you were finally pregnant. Because Tom was currently training, he didn’t notice you throwing up. When you’d gotten yourself all cleaned up, you immediately called your gynecologist, asking if you could come today. Luckily for you, you could come over.
You told Tom you had to visit your friend, you didn’t want him to get all excited for your baby when it wasn’t safe yet. So you sat in the waiting room alone, excited, but also scared. Tom wanted to have a baby so badly and you wanted one, too.
You had always admired how good Tom was with children, how he could make them laugh but also how he could take care of them. And you, you had actually wanted to start a family with Tom the moment you started dating. You didn’t know how but, you had known he was the right one from the beginning.
When you were called, you were still full of different emotions. But when the doctor examined you and told you that you were in fact pregnant, you started crying out of joy.
You left the doctor still overflown with joy, you were so happy to bring a small image of your growing baby back to Tom.
“I’m back!”, you called down the hallway as you slipped off your shoes. “In the kitchen!”, Tom had called back. You followed a delicious smell coming from the kitchen and found your husband cooking dinner for you.
You stood behind Tom and wrapped your arms around his torso, snuggling into his back. “How was it?”, he asked, which caught you off guard, because you had forgotten you told him you were with your friend. “The usual,”, you lied.
Tom noticed though, he always did, but he didn’t want to address it. He turned around and pulled you in for a delicate kiss. You smiled into the kiss and so did he; you were cute like that.
When you pulled away, he tried to catch your lips inbetween his again, the kiss had been way too short for his liking. You stood on your tip toes so you could reach his ear, your hands were burried in his hair.
“Do you want to know a secret?”, you whispered, grinning. You flopped down again and smirked up to him. He smiled at you, seeing how happy you were. Tom then nodded. “Follow me,”, you whispered and giggled afterwards. Tom made sure none of the food would burn and then followed you into the hallway, where you had put your bag earlier.
“Do you reallyyyy want to know my secret?”, you asked, the grin never leaving your lips. Tom smiled as well and slightly tickled your sides, making you giggle even more. “Of course I do, darling. Spill it already.”, he said, becoming more impatiend by the second.
“Close your eyes,”, you demanded. Tom rolled his eyes at you, still smiling and then closing his eyes. You turned towards your bag and quickly pulled out the small printed image of your baby. “Give me your hands, baby,”, you demanded again. He pulled up your hands and you softly lay the image into his welcoming hands.
“Open your eyes.”, you now whispered. Tom opened his eyes still smiling and when he looked at the tiny picture in his hands, his mouth dropped open. Hundreds of thoughts fle around in his head.
“Is this what I think it is?”, he asked, seeming slightly out of breath, although he didn’t know why. You nodded shyly, biting down on your lip. “Darling, you better not be messing with me right now ‘cause-,”, he began, but you cut him off.
You placed you hands on his cheeks. “I’m not baby, I’m not,”, you told him, tears welling up in your eyes. “I’m pregnant.”, you whispered, analysing his features. His eyes too, filled with tears as he looked at you, at loss of words.
“And this is,”, Tom began, taking a deep breath. “this is ours, then?”, he asked quietly. “Yes it is, love.”, you replied. A tear escaped his eyes and you carefully wiped it away, foreheads touching.
Tom bent down to grab your thighs and then lifted you onto his hips. You giggled as he showered your face with kisses. When his lips were finally pressed against yours, it was one of the most passionate kisses you had ever shared.
“I love you so much,”, Tom mumbled into the kiss, making you smile. “I love you just as much,”, you mumbled back. Tom sat you down on the kitchen table and knelt down in front of you. He kissed your stomach reapeatedly. “Tom?”, you asked him as his lips lingered on your lower abdomen.
“mhm?”, he mumbled, looking up to you. And him looking up to you like that, with his lips still pressing to your stomach, it was the most innocent and most beautiful scene you had ever seen.
“The doctor said that one could already hear the hertbeat.”, you told him. His eyes gleamed with pure joy and then he softly pressed his ear against your stomach. It was quiet for a few seconds, before he finally pulled away. Another tear was rolling down his cheek as he stood up and kissed the top of your head.
“That’s our baby,”, he commented and you nodded happily. “You keep on gifting me, darling, what did I do to deserve you?”, he asked.
That night, the both of you lay awake for hours, both of you staring at your now bare stomach. Tom swore he could already see a small baby bump. He kept on whispering to the baby, promising to always protect it.
“I love your mummy so much, darling. And we both love you so much. Oh god, look at me I know that you’re growing inside your mummy for a good few hours and I already can’t wait to hold you in my arms,”, he whispered.
He leant down and placed his lips onto your stomach once more. “I promise to love you forever, darling.”, he whispered and took one of your hands into his.

aaaahhh i’m so glad your back! :) how was your trip? did you have fun?
hi dood! i had a blast at Japan!!! bought so much NDRV3 merchandise hahahaha xDDDDDD ill upload them pictures later. i was traveling with my sister for the first half of the trip and that was kinda boring tbh, since all we did was go to “photogenic” places and ate “instagram-worthy” food.... (my sister is a serious instagram fanatic) but the second half was GREAT. i was able to travel alone and do a bunch of otaku-y things ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) like go to akihabara, ikebukuro, nakano, etc. Met up with couple of my Japanese twitter friends and talked about Keebo.....mmmmmmYES!Unfortunately the Breakshot!8 event in Osaka 10/22 was on the day of the big storm(typhoon #21) and not much people came....and for the ppl that went either left early or got stuck and had trouble going home(bunch of the transportation systems stopped due to the storm). i was staying at a hotel semi-nearby so we booked couple extra rooms last minute and had some of my buddies stay there for the night :) sleepovaaaaa! aaaaaaaaaand somehow i got sick from the day before the event~~~~~now(still sick) soooooo that kinda sucks too. been sick for more than a week. :/ i didnt want to waste time so was always doing something from early morning to late at night and never had the time to relax and get a good rest. it was so worth it tho. every second was fun.

Chapter 3- Cordelia
"Oh, God, Lissa. What's taking you so long?" I was talking to myself, mad with worry. It had been almost a half hour, and Lissa wasn't back yet. I hoped that she hadn't gotten hurt, or caught by one of the palace guards. I knew that something even worse could have happened, but I pushed it out of my mind, not even wanting to think about it. "Ugh."
Out of boredom, I walked over to my bookshelf and started rearranging the books in order by their color and then in alphabetical order. I am a little weird about that stuff. By the time I had rearranged 7/8 of that bookshelf, I hear the doorknob start to click from the top of the stairs. I peered down the spiral staircase and saw Lissa, bedraggled and lacking food. "Lissa! Are you alright? What happened? Where's the food?" I asked frantically. "They found me. They found out I was tipping them false info. They said I have five days to leave the castle or I'm dead. I have to leave." She said, obviously trying not to cry. I walked over to her, making sure she wasn't seriously hurt. As I checked her over for cuts, she started sobbing. "I don't want to have to leave! This place is..is my home! I thought I was safe but I can't get away from these awful people!" Lissa cried, sniffling messily. "Look, I know that things may look bad, but you will be safe eventually. We can have the Royal Treasury to get enough money to get you a ticket on a boat out of Hibisca...wait! Boat, out of Hibisca; I have the best idea! My mom has to go on a boat to the mainland to get to that 'Inter-Kingdom Congressional Association' thing and you can get a ticket for the boat and get off when it reaches the mainland. That place is so big, the Black Hibiscus would never be able to find you there! You would be perfectly safe. My only requests are that you give me something small of yours to remember you by and that you send a letter to me telling me where you found a home so that we can correspond and I can hopefully visit once in a while once I am queen. You could take some of my clothes because you would need some and I have more than I want and need. I will miss you though." I said, glad to have possibly found a solution. "Oh, thank you, Cordelia. I think that this could possibly work, as long as your mother and all of her nosy advisors and the High Chancellor don't find out that we are taking money from the Royal Treasury. I think that we will be fine, though; your mother and the High Chancellor seem to have enough trouble on their hands." Lissabeth wrapped me up in a tight, affectionate hug and I felt my face go red for some reason as I squeezed her tightly.
  §§§
So we planned. We stayed up until almost midnight that night, working out how we were going to actually get the money from the treasury, how Lissa was going to get to the Central Docks, where the ship was sailing from, and how I was going to explain how my head maid had suddenly left without any explanation whatsoever. It was hard, worrying work, and it made my head hurt. "Oh, gosh, this is nerve-wracking. I'm afraid that someone will blab and then I would be put in jail and sentenced to death for crimes against the crown."   "Oh, Lissa, please. Don't be paranoid. Plus, if you start acting all nervous and Listing all of the things that could go wrong, then I would get nervous and I don't do well under pressure, which could mean failure for this operation. So just a little word of advice; don't make me nervous because then I will freak out and I will start acting all suspicious and then it will all go downhill from there." We started writing down our plans in Written Hibicsian so that if anyone stole them, there would be a smaller chance of them being able to read it and find out our plans. Written Hibiscian was legally the official written language of Hibisca. It wasn't a spoken language, it sounded like the Native Mainland language, but when written, it was made up of different symbols, each standing for letters, sounds, phrases, and words. Most of the symbols came from the native people that were here before the people from the mainland to explore and colonize this small, mountainous island. The symbols are used in the written language on the mainland. Because it is only written and the people down in the city had neither the opportunity nor the funds to properly learn how to write in Native Hibiscian. It is mainly used in the trade region on signs and the prices for illegally acquired items....not that I would know anything about that. I grew up writing it because of my high status and privilege.
"It's getting late, Cordelia," Lissa said, shaking me from my half-asleep daze. "We should get to bed. You probably have some important meetings on trade agreements or something of the sort tomorrow."
"You are probably right and I resent you for it, Lissabeth," I said, sluggishly shuffling to my bed. "G'night." It didn't take me that long to fall asleep. It was exhausting trying to plan to smuggle a twenty-year-old girl out of the castle and to the docks. As I slept, I dreamed. But those dreams were nightmares. I dreamt that Lissa and I were somewhere I have never been. It looked like the mainland with no ocean to be seen for miles. I knew that it wasn't Hibisca, though. I would be able to know if I was in my homeland. I heard footsteps behind me and turned to see the young woman from my other dream, where we were running through that unknown castle. I stepped back from the woman, though I didn't know why. It was as if I had no control over my own body anymore. I saw her and Lissabeth talking and I could feel my lips moving, but I could barely hear anything. It felt like I was hearing the conversation from under water. The other woman suddenly got really mad and somehow produced a ball of fire between her hands and hurled it at Lissabeth and I. I put my hands out in front of myself in a futile act of protection, but the fire never touched me. I looked up and saw a clear shield of some pearlescent material hovering in the space between my hands. As the shield flickered out of existence, the dream faded away and I settled into a dreamless sleep for the rest of the night.
In the morning, I found out that Lissa was, in fact, correct. I did have some boring meeting on trade agreements with the mainland. Surprisingly enough, I was on time for this meeting. I was too worried that any mess up would doom Lissa and myself. As I walked into the meeting, I realized that actually being on time to something for once might indicate that something might be up with me.
"Well, here goes nothing," I muttered to myself, trying to boost my confidence. I knew absolutely nothing about trade agreements or whatever other boring things that the meeting was going to be about. All I hoped was that my mother would not ask where I had been at dinner last night. I had some ideas of excuses that I could give her, but I am an awful liar and do even worse under pressure.
Speaking of 'under pressure', I wondered if High Chancellor McCallum would come to the meeting. As the queen's advisor and second in command, she had to come to all of the meetings that the queen was to attend. My mother had to attend this meeting because she was still the queen and I did not yet have control of all of the legal aspects of the kingdom.
Surprisingly enough, I walked into the meeting room somewhere around five minutes before even my mother.
"Wow, Cordelia. I knew you had to be here, but didn't expect you to actually be on time! This is a pleasant surprise." My mother said as she walked in, scaring me so much that I swear that I jumped an entire foot in the air. "AAAAHHH! Don't scare me like that, Mom!" I said, brushing myself off from that little scare. "Sorry, sweetheart, I didn't mean to. I am just super stressed and work and all of our issues are all that I can think about. I'm just not sure that our trade negotiations with the island nation of Arumanai will work. They want some more of our water space for fish, but I worry that once the fisherman fish in it, they may want to give it back and cut off all trade with our ports and harbors.  I will explain more when the meeting actually starts," She said, voice shaking, obviously nervous. "Although, you can't tell me that it wasn't funny, seeing you jump like that."
As the meeting officially began, my mother regained her composure. As I assumed, High Chancellor McCallum did not attend the meeting. I wondered if McCallum's job was on the line due to her outburst yesterday. Although I did despise the Chancellor, she did a good job of helping my mom run the kingdom on her own after my father died 13 years ago. Chancellor McCallum has done a good job of keeping this kingdom from falling into anarchy, and I respect her for that.
"Good morning, fellow leaders of Hibisca. We are here to discuss our new trade agreement with the neighboring island nation of Arumanai. They have kindly requested if they could have one mile of our water space to fish and they will then give us fifteen percent of their monthly crops grown on their islands and five percent of the fish that they would catch in our waters. Now, I have decided to accept their trade agreement, but I thought that it would be a good idea to run it over with my council first to analyze the pros and cons to this trade agreement. My only worry is that once they find out that all of the fish seem to never swim inside our water borders, they may revoke our agreement and cut off all trade on our ports." She said, looking around the room, seeming to hope that someone would speak up. Gosh, I am so going to regret this.
"Seeing as that they can now fish in our waters, will they be able to cut off any connection with our ports? If they can use our waters, they could blockade our docks to stop anything from getting in or out. That would be a significant issue." I said. Almost everyone in the room turned to look at me in confusion. I suppose that they are not used to me actually being to the meeting on time, let alone me actually contributing something intelligent to the discussion. I heard murmurs around the room, every once in a while catching something that sounded like my name, or surprised sounding remarks.
"That is a good question, Cordelia. We could propose to Arumanai that they have to stop their fishing in our waters 2 and a half miles from our docks and give a clear path to any ships going to and from our docks, thus eliminating the problem of our ships being disturbed. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. I think that that would have been something to have considered from the beginning, but it is good that you saw that. It will help you once you become queen." My mother said. I wonder if I even will become queen. The Black Hibiscus could be growing nearer and nearer every day and with them bringing the deaths of my family in their wake.
The meeting went through well. The council had to compose a letter from my mother to the leader of Arumanai clearly and succinctly conveying our terms of agreement for this trade alliance.  I can't wait for today and tomorrow to be over. I am so afraid that either Lissa or I will reveal something and ruin everything. I don't want to ruin Lissa's chance to get away from her dark past and live a good, safe life.
After the meeting, my mother pulled me out into the hallway. She explained to me that she would be going away in two days for the "Inter-Kingdom Congressional Association" meeting and she would be gone for two weeks and that the High Chancellor would be helping me to take care of all matters of the kingdom so that I was not completely alone. I was relieved, I would need some help after helping Lissa escape.
§§§
The next day went by pretty quickly. There were no meetings that I was required to attend, so Lissa and I worked on all of our final preparations for tomorrow's journey. I put some of my tunics in one of my traveling bags from my business trips with mom, hoping nobody would notice they were gone, and Lissa put all of her wages from working here for the past few years and packed them. e took enough money from the royal treasury to buy two tickets. The second one was only for emergencies, and it didn't cost that much, so it would probably not be noticed unless the Minister for Finances actually paid attention to the numbers he was putting into the Royal Record. It was probably the most stressful day of my life, packing and preparing for Lissa's departure.
We scheduled for a carriage to take me and Lissa to the docks tomorrow fifteen minutes after the carriage with my mom in it left. We also made sure that the carriage drivers and stable workers didn't let my mom find out that we were taking a carriage out into the city and to the docks. Sadly but unsurprisingly, I had to buy their silence on this matter. I went to sleep hoping that everything would go well tomorrow with the boat and Lissa's journey.
Author’s Note: YEEP CHAPTER THREE!!! I am so excited about this chapter! I have a bunch of things about this chapter and some other stuff book-related.
1. The written language that is mentioned in the story above: I m currently developing that language, but it is friggin hard to create a written language with an entirely new alphabet so that should be up here in maybe two weeks. YAY!
2. Chapter 4: Y’all are going to love chapter 4 and I am so excited for you to read it! It has been one of my favorite chapters and I just wanted to express my excitement.
3. I AM WORKING ON ANOTHER STORY!!! I am in the process of writing a short sci-fi story. It is just going to be a short story, no chapters, so I will release the entire thing once it is finished!
4. I have about 5 more finished chapters for you so far so those will be coming out on a regular basis, but after that, it might be a little while for a new one to come out because my mental state is not great right now. I wanted to get to 18500 words by the end of the year, but I have about 2000 words left and I don’t know how well I will be able to meet this goal. If anyone has any questions regarding my crappy mental health, you can send me a private message, but I have said all I can say on that topic right now.
I hope you liked this chapter!

That’s Mine- Baekhyun (EXO)
Tumblr media
Genre: Comedy
Author’s Note: I came across this concept while browsing through AU ideas… I hope someone enjoys it
Eating alone is something that most people can’t imagine doing. To you, it’s an everyday reality.
You take late night classes at the university, plus you also work late to pay off college debt, rent, and other hum drum necessities of adult life. So, without much time to eat a proper meal during the day, you usually ended up at your favorite restaurant almost every night. The food was delicious, and the staff treated you like family.
“I’ll have the rice cake soup, please.” you told the waitress with a smile. She nodded, took your menu and walked away. Since it would take a few minutes, and the restaurant was empty except for you, you decided to take a quick trip to the restroom.
After coming back into the dining area, you saw a table with your dish, rice cake soup, on it, with kimbap and kimchi on the side. Seeing this as your table, you sat back down.
It felt so good to actually enjoy a meal. You were used to shoving a granola bar into your mouth before classes or scarfing down a bag of chips before the night shift, that during the day you almost forgot what it felt like to eat something that someone actually took the time to cook for you. Indulging in your soup, you took into consideration the joy of eating- so blissful, so blessing, so peaceful, so-
“YAH!” a voice shrieked in your direction.
Oh great who’s gonna try me right now. You thought as you turned around in your seat. You saw a man about your age staring at you like you just stole his wallet. He wasn’t tall, but he wasn’t too short. He looked tired. You noticed that he was super cute, but didn’t think much of it. After all, this guy did come between you and your soup.
“Why are you eating my food?” he asked you.
“Your food?” you inquired. “This is mine!”
“No, that’s mine.” he retorted. “That’s my order!”
Suddenly, you looked up a few tables in front of you and saw your waitress bringing a soup to a table that had a bag on it. That bag was yours.
“Oh… I’m sorry, I thought this was my table. I think we ordered the same thing.”
“How do I know you weren’t trying to steal my food?” he impended.
You rolled your eyes. What was with this guy? “Because, I ordered the rice cake soup!”
“Aha!” he announced, pointing his finger at you. “I ordered the rice cake stew! Clearly, it’s sabotage!”
“Sabotage?” you exclaimed. “It was only an accident!”
“You took my only food!” he whined. “Now I’m gonna starve! I can’t believe someone would do this! I would never…”
“Don’t even compare yourself to me!” you retorted, looking right at him. Suddenly, the man dropped his finger and started laughing. It started out as just a little snicker, but soon it evolved into a huge fit of doubling over and laughing.
“What’s so funny?” you asked, confused.
“Oh nothing!” he managed to get out, wiping a tear away from his eye. “You just reminded me of someone.” His breathing returned to normal, and he sat down at the other side of you. “You should bring your food over here.”
“Why?” you asked.
“Well, it’s two in the morning, we’re the only two people in the restaurant. I don’t want to eat alone, and it’d be pretty awkward if throughout the rest of our meals we sat across the room looking at each other with shifty eyes with the lingering conflict of stew theft in the air.” he told you.
Okay. You knew it was dumb, but he had put all that effort into that conversation, and you were tired. You just wanted to eat your soup. “Why the heck not.” you shrugged, getting up to get your food. You soon sat down with him again.
“I’m Baekhyun by the way. You?”
“Y/N.” you told him, stuffing your face with kimbap.
“What do you do for a living?” he asked, inspecting his bowl.
“I work at the mall. I’m an assistant manager.” you said, gesturing to your uniform.
“Ooo, impressive!” he said with a cute smile. “Is that why you’re out so late?”
You nodded, smiling at his compliment. “What about you? Why are you out accusing people of stew theft after midnight?”
Baekhyun chuckled before responding. “I was recording a new song.”
“Oh, you’re a musician?” you inquired.
He nodded. “I’m a singer. I also play pian- AAAAHHH!”
“What?! What happened?” you exclaimed, concerned.
“They put cucumber in my kimbap!” he complained, poking at it with his chopstick.
You breathed a sigh of relief. “Gosh, don’t yell like that, you made it sound like you hurt yourself!”
“Well, I’m fine, but it means a lot that you care.” he smiled, poking though his soup again. “Gah, they put it in my soup too!” He sighed in frustration. “I can’t eat this…”
You swallowed the last bit of your soup. “I’ll take it.”
“Can you really eat all of it? You just ate a whole meal…” he asked, pushing his bowl and plate over to you.
“Heck yeah! When you’re a broke college student, you eat good food whenever you can!” you exclaimed, stuffing one of his rejected kimbap into your mouth.
“You’re a student too?” he said, widening his eyes. “You must be super hard working. What do you study?”
“Creative writing and journalism.” you told him. “I want to be a reporter someday. This pathetic mall job is just to pay the bills until I can get an actual job.”
“I wouldn’t exactly call an assistant managing position pathetic.” he told you with an encouraging smile.
“Thank you.” you said with a slight blush. Okay, now that he wasn’t accusing you of taking his stew, you thought he was a nice guy. And he was even cuter now too!
Shortly after you took your last bite, the waitress came over to your table. “Oh, you two have met!” she said excitedly. “You both eat here so much I was hoping you would!” You and Baekhyun laughed. “Here’s your bill sir, and here’s yours miss!”
“I’ll pay them both.” Baekhyun told the waitress.
“No, it’s fine! I just got payed today.” you told him.
“No, I want to!” he said with a reassuring smile.
After the bill was payed, you both exited the building and stood outside in the night air.
“Well Baekhyun, thank you for keeping me company. And for paying for my food!” you smiled.
“Well, thanks for stealing my stew.” he said.
“How is that something to be thankful for?” You asked, confused.
“Because I got to befriend you.” he told you. You blushed. “Look, the only reason I made a big deal out of it was because I wanted to start a conversation with you… you looked so cute, sleepily shoveling food in your mouth… it sounds dumb, but after talking to you, I’m even more glad that you sat at my table on accident.”
You chuckled. “Well, I’m very thankful that you payed for both stolen soups. I’d feel bad not returning the favor. I don’t have work tomorrow… same place same time?”
He playfully scoffed. “You expect me to come here at two in the morning to eat soup with you?”
“No, but I want you to!” You giggled. “See you then!”
Author’s Note: Ah, I love Baekhyun. I had a lot of fun writing this. Thank you to whoever posted the prompt I wrote this off of. I hope you all enjoyed it!

Pairing: Jughead x Reader
Description: The reader returns, and she offers the writer some explanations that he’s been waiting for
Warnings: none
Word count: 1,041
A/N: It’s here! I am so so so sorry for making you guys wait this long, I had so much going on this week and I had barely any time to write at all. I hope this makes up for it, enjoy!
Jughead didn’t expect for (Y/N) to return to Pop’s; in fact, he thought she’d leave town.  However, the following night he was proven wrong when she walked in and sat across him in their usual booth.
“You’re here,” he stated. (Y/N) quirked an eyebrow.
“You expected otherwise?” she inquired, crossing her arms.
“Well, to be fair, I hadn’t seen you in about a month before yesterday,” Jughead defended himself.  (Y/N) sucked in a breath and went to contradict him, but she realized he was right, so she shut her mouth.  They sat in silence, both of them avoiding eye contact with each other.  Finally, (Y/N) sighed and broke the quiet.
"So I'm guessing you want to talk about it," she said, not even bothering to pull out a book.  Jughead nodded as he closed his laptop.
"I think I deserve a bit more information than the fact that you were born in Riverdale," he grumbled.
"You do," she agreed.
"So why did you think that was important to tell me?" Jughead began the interrogation. "Out of all the things to say to stop me from leaving, why that?"
"Well it worked, didn't it?" (Y/N) attempted to joke, but Jughead didn't even crack a smile.  She sighed and continued.  "I don't know, because that's the beginning. I'm a reader, Jug, I like to start at the beginning of a story."
"And so your beginning started here."
"Yes."
"But then you moved somewhere else?" Jughead asked.  (Y/N) nodded.  "Why?"
"Because we had to," she responded.  "My parents were... unpleasant people, to say the least.  Bad people tend to mingle, and thus my parents met the Blossoms."  Jughead's head perked up at the mention of the family.
"The Blossoms?" he echoed.  "As in Jason Blossom?"
"No, the other notorious Blossom family in Riverdale," she rolled her eyes, sarcasm oozing from every word.  "Yes, Jason Blossom's family."  Jughead’s silence signaled for her to continue.  “My family and their family had this long-lasting feud for as long as I can remember.”
“So is that why you left?” he asked.  “Because of the feud?”
“Yes,” she answered tentatively, “and no.  It’s complicated.  You see, I didn’t leave Riverdale with my parents.”  (Y/N) paused for a moment, biting her lip.  “My parents were murdered.”  Jughead’s eyes widened as he realized the severity of her situation.
“The Blossoms did it?” he immediately assumed.  (Y/N) shook her head.
“Not that we know of,” she replied.  “They never figured out who did it.  Yes, the Blossoms were high on the suspect list, but personally, I don’t think it was them.  They’re too snobbish to actually murder someone.”  The pair fell into a silence, Jughead attempting to soak up all the information he was just given.  (Y/N) lazily glanced around the dinner, scanning the strangers’ faces.
“Why’d you come back?” Jughead spoke up.  (Y/N)’s eyes flicked back to his face.
“They were about to sell our old home,” she shrugged.  “My aunt was infuriated, so she packed up all our things and moved here.” Jughead had so many more questions swirling around his mind, but when he observed (Y/N)’s face, he saw how tired and deflated she looked.
“I’m sorry,” he apologized, “this is too much for you.  I shouldn’t have pressured you to tell me everything at once.”
“No, it’s fine,” she insisted, shaking her head.  “I want to tell you, I… you deserve to know.”  Jughead reached across the table, grabbed (Y/N)’s hand, and gazed at her in a manner she couldn’t quite distinguish.  He didn’t say anything, and neither did she.  They just sat there in the booth, on a quiet day in Pop’s, Jughead holding (Y/N)’s hand and she was letting him.  Without speaking, she understood what he was trying to tell her: there was nothing left to say.
For the next two weeks, neither Jughead nor (Y/N) said anything to each other.  They still went to Pop’s every night, and they sat together at the same booth.  But (Y/N) always had a book, and Jughead always had his laptop.  Frequently, when one of them wasn’t looking, the other would glance up and stare for just a moment.
On a slow Tuesday, Veronica entered Pop’s.  She was only there to pick up the food she and her mom had ordered, but she noticed (Y/N) and Jughead sitting together at a booth, and so she sped over there.
“You’re back,” she noted, sitting down next to (Y/N).  She glanced up, putting Frankenstein down, and shot Veronica a timid smile.
“I’ve been back for a few weeks,” she responded.  Veronica furrowed her eyebrows.
“Really?” she questioned, shifting her gaze to Jughead.  He didn’t look up from his computer.  (Y/N) awkwardly nodded, turning back to her novel.  Veronica glanced back and forth between (Y/N) and Jughead, waiting for one of them to say something.  “Do you guys ever talk?”
“It’s not always necessary,” Jughead replied, rolling his eyes.
“Well yeah,” Veronica shrugged, “but you guys are dead silent.  Neither of you have spoken to each other since I got here.”  When neither of them replied to her comment, Veronica understood that she was unwanted and left.
The two sat in silence for another hour before Jughead interrupted it by slamming his laptop shut.
“Okay, I’ve spent two weeks thinking about what to say,” he started, catching (Y/N)’s attention.  She lifted her eyes from her book and stared at Jughead, puzzled.  “But I don’t know.  I don’t know what to say!  How do I respond to the fact that your parents were murdered?”
“You don’t have to sa-”
“Yes I do!” Jughead interjected.  “Because we’re… friends, we’re friends.  And I’m supposed to say something to make you feel better.”  (Y/N) tilted her head sideways as she gazed at Jughead, trying to think of a reply.
“You still have a question,” she finally said, “don’t you?  And you didn’t want to say anything else because you didn’t want to tempt your own curiosity.”
“No,” Jughead shook his head, “no, I-”
“Just ask,” (Y/N) stopped him.  “Just ask me, Jug.”  He inhaled sharply, and examined her face.  There was no doubt, no hesitation; just determination with a hint of anger. Jughead sighed, giving into (Y/N)’s, and his own curiosity’s, demands.
“What’s your real name?”

NEW MEXICO
7 Feb 2019 (Thu) – We went into town and toured the Luna Mimbres Museum.  It was three stories contained in a former armory.  There were lots of different collections donated by residents of the town.  After the museum, we went to lunch at the Rise & Shine Café.  It was run by an Amish couple.  I had chicken salad and Paul had a cordon bleu sandwich.  The white chicken chili was delicious and we got a quart to take home.  We made a quick stop at the post office to mail off a package and then picked up propane. We ran out of propane during the night and Paul had to go out at 2:30 a.m. in the subzero temperatures to switch tanks.  We started packing up and getting ready for our move into Arizona tomorrow.
6 Feb 2019 (Wed) – We hiked the Jasper Trail in the campground this morning.  It was supposed to be a 0.6 mile hike but when we got back, my Fitbit said I had walked almost 1.7 miles.
We drove to City of Rocks State Park to see what the campground was like.  We had contemplated camping there before we decided to come to Rockhound State Park.  It was quite interesting.  There were large boulders dispersed around the campground in piles that resembled a careless child’s abandoned toys.  Campers were tucked in here and there among the rocks and trees.  Only six sites had electric and water hookups; the rest was dry camping.  We chose wisely by going to Rockhound.
After the park, we drove on into Silver City (about 60 miles from our campground).  Mining is still going on and we drove past a huge tailings pile that was miles long.  The historic part of Silver City is very old western looking with narrow streets.  We had lunch at a place called Tapas Tree Grill. It was expensive and we didn’t think the food was all that good.  While we were eating, the wind picked up and snow flurries were driven along the road and sidewalks.  We watched through the window and felt glad to be inside.
Next stop was at the Silver City Museum. It was located in a home that was built in 1861.  When the owner’s bank failed in 1863, the family moved to California.  Various things took place in the house after that – it was a boarding house, a fire department, housing for fire department volunteers, etc. It was finally turned into a museum about 50 years ago.  There were a lot of story boards located in each room that described the history of the area in general and Silver City in particular.  It was an interesting place.
The drive back to the campground was over an hour.  We spotted a Moose campground and stopped to look around it.  We drove over to the Elks Lodge but were disappointed to find no campground there.  As we came down the road to Rockhound State Park, we turned at a road marked “Spring Canyon.”  I had read an information sign by Jasper Trail that said Persian Ibex had been brought to the area as a gift.  There are now 200-500 ibex in the area.  We hoped to catch a glimpse of them.  We drove down a winding road with a 19% grade (at one point) only to come upon a gate stating the park was closed.  They should put a sign back at the beginning of the roadway before getting to that point. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like if we had been towing a trailer!  The sign said the park was open Wed-Sun.  Guess we’ll drive over there tomorrow.
5 Feb 2019 (Tue) – We ran to the commissary at 8:00 a.m. to pick up some groceries but it didn’t open until 9:00 a.m. So we went to McDonald’s and had breakfast.  With still 40 minutes to go until 9 a.m., we decided to just pick up a case of water at the Express Stop.  We then packed up the RV and left for Deming, NM.  The drive was just two hours.  Paul and I both suffered sour stomachs.  Guess the food at the reservation wasn’t as good as it should have been.
We arrived at the Rockhound State Park where we were met by the camp host on his golf cart.  He said there were only two sites that fit us.  We backed into a site and hooked up.  We had to add blocks under the front jacks as the ground slopes down a little.  This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have ever stayed at (we were here in 2015). The sites are spacious.  The campground is nestled at the base of the Florida Mountains.  There are two trails that wander into the landscape where you walk among a rich variety of desert flora and fauna.  The cacti are the healthiest I think I have ever seen.  At night, the stars in the sky stand out clearly and you can look down on the town below and watch the twinkling lights.  The park authorities allow people to wander around the mountains and valleys searching for rocks and minerals.  Many people come up for the day with their rock hammers and buckets. You are allowed to collect up to 15 pounds of rocks.
4 Feb 2019 (Mon) – We went to the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino on the Mescalero-Apache Homelands. It was a long drive into the mountains with some snow remaining in the cooler areas.  The casino was pretty.  They built a dam and a beautiful blue lake sat in front of the inn.  Big windows gave visitors a panoramic view of the lake and mountains.  We had lunch in the Broken Arrow Taproom.  The food was OK.  We each played $20 in the slots.  As usual, I made the obligatory deposit to the slot demons.  Paul, on the other hand, was able to collect $96.02.  That’s the way we like to play – spend some time and walk away without it costing anything.  Between lunch and gambling, we spent about $5.
We drove back (it was over an hour) to the campground, quickly fed the animals, grabbed Bonnie, and headed over to White Sands National for the sunset stroll with a park ranger.  The sky was mostly clouded so we did not get a great sunset.  There was about a group of 30 people and 3 dogs who followed the ranger through the dunes, stopping at various points to hear him explain something about the history and geography of the area.  Surprisingly, there is water just a foot below the surface that helps to keep the sand dunes in place.
3 Feb 2019 (Sun) – We drove into town today to see the historic area.  It turned out to be two blocks of old, dilapidated buildings.  There are poor areas and not-so-poor areas around Alamogordo but no really wealthy area.  We had lunch at Can’t Stop Smoking BBQ.  They were running a special today for Super Bowl so we got a rack of ribs along with garlic potatoes and Italian green beans.  The meal was good and there was enough to take home for left-overs.
After lunch, we drove around for a while just looking the town over.  When we got back on base, we drove around there giving it a look over, too. The base is huge.  They have fighter jets here and there is a test squadron over on the edge of the airbase.
We enjoyed our left-overs while watching the Super Bowl tonight.
2 Feb 2019 (Sat) – When we woke this morning, there was a very thick fog in the area.  It slowly burned off so that  by the time we left at 9:45 a.m., most of it had lifted.  It was about three hours to Alamogordo.  As we drove through miles and miles of vast desert landscape, suddenly a snow covered peak appeared in the distance.  As we drew closer, a mountain range began to grow larger.  Soon we were driving through the mountains.  We climbed to 8,700 feet over winding roadways.  As we came around a mountain top, the area before us opened up and White Sands was visible off in the distance as a white streak in the brown desert.  It really stands out!
We pulled into Holloman AFB FamCamp around 1:00 p.m.  There are three rows of 12 campsites with a decent amount of space between them.  A posted sign told incoming campers to check in with the camp host before setting up.  There was a sign on the camp host’s door saying he was off duty and to fill out the registration paperwork in the laundry.  We picked a site, set up, then filled out the form in the laundry.  They only take check or cash.  I wrote a check and dropped the envelope in a locked box.
Sheba was really chomping at the bit to go out so we gave her outside time.  She has been spending a lot of time in the last month confined to the trailer because of lack of space or heavy traffic.  She really enjoyed exploring this campsite.
1 Feb 2019 (Fri) – Aaaahhh.  The smell of petroleum in the morning. NOT!  We walked out of the RV this morning and almost gagged on the overwhelming smell of petroleum in the air.  Texas and New Mexico are both extracting oil from the Permian Basin. We looked at a map of the area and it was covered with thousands of little white dots; each dot representing an oil well. How can there be anything left in the ground with all those wells?  Geologists say there are enough reserves in the basin to last 100 years.  The sheer volume of wells above ground and reserves in the ground are just mind boggling.
We drove to Carlsbad Caverns today. This was our third time visiting the caverns.  Paul was there with his family when he was a young boy and remembers a cafeteria down in the cavern where they ate lunch.  I first visited Carlsbad in 2005 when I deployed to El Paso before shipping out to Iraq.  We both were here 3-1/2 years ago in 2015, and now we were back again.  We walked in at the natural entrance which was one mile of winding, descending walkway.  There was nobody around.  It was so still and there was a kind of reverence as we passed fantastic formations of stalagmites, stalactites, columns, bacon, popcorn, and soda straws (I think somebody was hungry when they named these speleothems).  Several times, we had the eerie feeling that they had closed the place (it would have been funny except that that has happened to us before).
When we reached the bottom of the entrance, we then walked the 1-1/4 mile walk around the Big Room.  It was so much fun naming the formations and exploring the vast space underground.  This was the best cave experience.  Even though we have been to Carlsbad Caverns before, there have been years of exploring dozens of caves over the years.  We can now appreciate how phenomenal this cave is.  It should be a bucket list item for everyone.
After spending three hours at the caverns, we drove into Carlsbad and had lunch at the Red Chimney BBQ.  The food was excellent!  We packed up our leftovers and headed home, stopping to get fuel at a station.  It’s funny. We are deep in oil country and the cost of fuel is higher than it was deep in Texas.  The average price around here for diesel fuel is between $2.83 and $2.99.
31 Jan 2019 (Thu) – We pulled up stakes, left Seminole, TX, and drove to Artesia in New Mexico.  The drive was just two hours.  We drove past a HUGE oil field.  It was almost like someone had practiced a scorched earth policy.  There were oil pumps and derricks for as far as the eye could see.  The smell of petroleum was so strong that you could actually taste it on your tongue. We did not recognize any of the names of the companies operating along the way.  They must extract the oil and then sell it to the manufacturers whose names we know (i.e., Exxon, Mobile).
We arrived at Artesia RV Park just before noon.  The campground is next to a very large orchard with huge trees.  The trees are bare and many have been cut back a lot. We think it might be pistachio trees. It’s just a guess.  The campground is nicely laid out with a good amount of room between campsites.  There are many oil workers in here, too.
After set up, we drove into town for lunch and to run errands.  Our meal was at La Fonda Restaurant.  It was Mexican fare and margaritas made from agave wine (guess they don’t have a liquor license).  It was a very sweet drink.  After lunch, we bought propane, got fuel, picked up groceries, and mailed off postcards.

The Average and Unusual Couple: Chapter Eight
Stan and Lydia both enter into Beetlejuice’s bedroom where he was floating around waiting for them. Just like with the living room, Beetlejuice’s bedroom is also pretty messy. But it wasn’t as smelly in comparison.
Stan: I’m surprise that this room isn’t as smelly as to the living room.
Beetlejuice: I usually spend the time here during my sleeping hours.
Lydia: So Beetlejuice, what is it that you want to show us? Your updated toe nail collection I assumed?
Beetlejuice: Babes, ever since Stanny boy here toured us throughout South Park and shared some funny stories from his past, I thought why not we do the same for him. I’ve founded a huge memory book from my big ass attic that contains all the times that has happened between us, which includes everything that has happened during our old show run.
Lydia: Wow, Beetlejuice! I never thought that you would ever make such of a suggestion like that. I love it!
Stan: How big is this memory book?
Beetlejuice: I’ve recently placed it into my closet. *turns himself into a Terminator* I’ll be back! *turns himself back to normal, and flies into his closet*
After a few moments later, he returns with the memory book that’s almost as big as him.
Beetlejuice: Phew! *talks to the reader* Skeletons in the closet, you should know by now why I hate them so much.
Stan: Woah, dude. You sure weren’t kidding around on how huge the book is.
Both Stan and Lydia sit next to each other on the bed while Beetlejuice floats above them. Beetlejuice uses his magic to lift the book up to make it float, and places it right in front of them. He continues to use his magic to open the book, and turns to the first page. The first picture shows Beetlejuice and Lydia making funny faces in a selfie pose.
Stan: *chuckles a bit* Was that picture taken on the day you two first met each other?
Lydia: Yep. I didn’t even know if I was ever gonna see Beetlejuice again at that time, so I took a picture of us both as a precaution.
Beetlejuice: Those faces that you made were just as gross as my own, Babes. I felt very proud by it that I couldn’t stop crying happily in my sleep.
Lydia: *laughs* You never told me about that.
Beetlejuice: Well umm, I was just too embarrassed to admit it at the time.
Stan was looking through the pictures and sees how each image is so well professionally taken.
Stan: So just like with the photos taken in our world, you took every picture in during each of your visit at the Netherworld?
Lydia: Yes. In fact, more than two thirds of the pictures that I have taken with my camera are all either supernatural or Netherworld related stuff.
Stan: Uh-huh. Do you keep any of these pictures in your room too?
Lydia: I only have a few handful of my personal favorite ones in actual photos, while the rest are stored away in some of my GB fast drives.
Stan: I’ll like to see your favorite ones next because I imagine they each have a good story to tell.
Lydia: Each of the photo in the memory book has a story to tell, but since this book is gigantic in which takes a lot of time to get through, and we don’t have that kind of a time at the moment, we’ll do that instead. Beetlejuice, takes us to the page during our first time at the Netherworld Auto Factory.
   Beetlejuice: Oohh, good choice, Lyds.
He uses his magic to turn the page that shows pictures on the day that they created Doomie.
Beetlejuice: Ah yes, the very day that our monstrous car was born.
Stan: What’s with the car in these pictures?
Lydia: Beetlejuice and I wanted to have our own car in order to travel to many places. So we bought a super cheap car from a wrecking yard for five bucks, build it from scrap, and made it come alive pretty much like how Dr. Frankenstein created his monster.
Stan: Wait a minute, that car is alive?
Lydia: That’s right. We even named him Doomie. His personality is much like that of a dog. He can be a happy-go-lucky, loyal, good-natured kind of a car. Although he does have an abnormal carburetor that causes him to have a split-personality disorder. Whenever Doomie sees a dog, he quickly becomes a werewolf-like car that lasts up to at least a while.
Beetlejuice: *chuckles* You can thank me for that.
Stan: Where is he right now?
Lydia: He’s on a second honeymoon with his love interest name Pinky. He should be back sometime next week.
Stan: I can’t wait to see what he’s like. He must be such a really fun car to be around with.
Lydia: Oh, you’re gonna love Doomie, Stan. He’s literally like one of the best pals that you can ask for.
Beetlejuice: Yeah, Doomie is such a monstrous car that he can give a Mustang a run for their money. Which remains me, I gotta remember to put Doomie into a race so that I can bet on him for a shit load of money.
Lydia: But BJ, we already were in a race with Doomie and won, remember?
Beetlejuice: I know that, but that race didn’t earned us a lot of bucks! *a big herd of deer bucks magically shows up to run him over* Aaaahhh! *the buck herd runs him over* Ugh, I gotta be more careful with my literal translation.
Stan: *laughs* I’m beginning to see why you hang out with your ghostly buddy a lot, Lydia. He’s such a funny guy to be around with.
Lydia smiling: That’s what’s Beetlejuice does best. Wherever he does it intentionally or not.
Stan: So what other fun things did you guys do together?
Lydia: Here’s a memory past that was more like a learning experience for me. Oh Bj, turn to the page where we saw William Shakespeare.
Beetlejuice excited: Oh fuck yeah! Now you’re talking!
He uses his magic to the page that has photos involving William Shakespeare. Stan sees a picture of Lydia and Beetlejuice being together with Shakespeare himself.
Stan: Holy shit! You two actually met William Shakespeare?! How did you guys get to meet him?
Lydia: During one night, I had to write an essay about him for English class. At that time, I didn’t understand much onto why he was one of the most influential writers of all time. So I asked Beetlejuice for help, and he took me to a place call The Back Stage of Beyond where I got to see some of Shakespeare’s characters. During my time there, I was able to finally understand on what made William Shakespeare such a brilliant writer in the first place. And then when we saw him, he had a writer’s block situation in which we were able to help him in breaking the giant block in order for him to write new plays again.
   Stan: What was he like?
Lydia: When I first met him, he was very depressed in not coming up with any new ideas. But then after having the writer’s block get destroyed, I was able to see him doing some of his finest works. Just able to see him writing poetries was all inspiring to watch.
Beetlejuice: But let’s not forget one very important thing here, Willie and I are old pals!
   Stan: Really now?
Beetlejuice: Oh yes, I knew him well. I was able to help him in putting the terrors and tragedies into his work while he influents me in becoming the comedian prankster that I am today.
Stan: Interesting. How did you two met?
Beetlejuice: He was doing his writing homework on Latin when I gave him a good spoke. He founded me fascinating, I liked the way he talks, and the two of us became close ever since. I still give him a quick visit once a while.
Stan: That’s pretty cool, dude. What other historical figures did you made friends with?
Beetlejuice: Well, there’s also Benjamin Franklin, Harry Houdini, Alfred Hitchcock, and Elvis Presley.
Stan: Have you checked on them recently?
Beetlejuice: Not yet, but maybe I’ll give them a prank call later on. *chuckles*
Lydia: Hey, Beetlejuice, remember the time that you disguised yourself as my Cousin for the first time?
Beetlejuice: Oh yeah, and when I got your family to start dancing during that night. Let me find that page.
He uses his magic to the page that has pictures of Lydia’s family dancing.
Beetlejuice: Ah, yes. That was sure a fun night, wasn’t it, Babes?
Stan: What’s the story behind these pictures?
Lydia: My family relatives came over for a visit, and I didn’t want to have an another boring day with them. So Beetlejuice steps in disguise as Cousin BJ to lighten things up. The first attempt wasn’t too successful, but it was when during dinner time that things started to get fun. BJ used to his possession power to get my family start dancing. After twenty seconds later,  the magic wear off, and yet my family were still dancing. These photos had since then became my most favorite family moment in my life so far. I even have a video of the whole thing.
Stan: Cool! You gotta show me that video someday whenever you can.
   Lydia: Absolutely!
Beetlejuice and Lydia showed Stan some more of their memory photos. Some of them include such as visiting a wild west town call Tombstone Scarazona, running a fast food restaurant, the time when Beetlejuice got spit into two BJs, and the time when Beetlejuice was temporally Mayor of the Netherworld. About two hours later, Stan quickly checks the time on his Fitbit watch, and sees that it was almost four o’clock pm. His mother has stated that she was gonna pick him up right around four, and now it was time for him to be heading back.
Stan: Crap, it’s fifteen minutes to four, and my mom is gonna pick me up right around that time. We gotta get going, Lydia.
Beetlejuice: Oh come on, Stanny boy! I was just about to tell you the one time when Lyds was a wild prankster.
Stan: Sorry, dude. Maybe another time. But before I go, I just wanna say that it was wonderful in getting to know you more as yourself instead of you in one of your random disguises. You’re such a blast to be around with, and I look forward in spending a lot more time with you, Beetlejuice. *smiles*
Beetlejuice: *chuckles* If you thought today was fun, wait until you see the adventures that awaits us all. Trust me, the Netherworld will be like your new playhouse.
   Lydia: Ready, Stan?
Stan takes Lydia’s hand, and nods his head up and down twice.
Lydia: I’ll give you a call whenever I can, Beetlejuice.
Beetlejuice: Just don’t keep me waiting for long this time, Babes.
Stan: See you next time, BJ.
   Lydia: Home! Home! Home!
They both disappeared from Beetlejuice’s room, and then are teleported back to Lydia’s bedroom. And as they returned, Lydia was back on wearing her long dark purple top and black leggings.
Stan: Wow, dude. That was one hell of a day.
Lydia: That was only just the start. The Netherworld has a lot more to offer, and I’m very excited to take you to those places someday.
Stan: Well umm, just in case if I ever want to give BJ a call or want to visit the Netherworld myself, how do I do that?
Lydia: I’ll write you the instructions for it. Just give me a minute.
As Lydia heads to her desk and writes the instructions, Stan looks though the shelve that has the books and picks out the photo book that only has pictures of her family, insects, and trips in the real world.
Stan: Where do you keep your favorite Netherworld pictures at?
Lydia: In the closet. It’s a black book that saids memories with an image of a bat as it’s cover.
Stan looks through the closet, and finds the book. He checks out the pictures in it, and recognizes some of them like the ones that has Doomie in it. But the one image that Stan seems to like the most is a picture of Lydia in her Netherworld outfit at a dark room while holding up a candle with spiderwebs both at upper left & right corner. It perfectly captures the strange, spooky, and beautiful type of a person that she truly is. Looking at the photo puts a smile onto Stan’s face.
   Lydia: All done.
   Stan: Okay.
He puts the book back where he found it, and heads over to her.
Lydia: Here ya go. They’re all pretty simple to follow.
She hands Stan the instructions as he takes a good look at it. The instructions reads in the following guidelines:
1: If you want to summon Beetlejuice or send him back where he came from, say his name 3 times.
2: If you want to visit the Netherworld, make sure to have the room entirely dark with only a fire candle as the only light in the area. Once everything is set, say these magic words: Though I know I should be wary, still I venture someplace scary! Ghostly hauntings I turn loose…Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!
3: Whenever you’re at the Netherworld and want to head back where you came from, say the word “Home” 3 times.
4: You can also bring someone or something with you to and out the Netherworld by any type of physical contact. Just make sure nothing touches you in order to prevent any unintentional things from happening.
Stan: Alright, this is all I need to know. And I promise that this will only be between us both. The knowledge in entering the Netherworld is pretty much something that can screw up the entire world if a lot of people knew about it.
Lydia: Thanks, Stan. The less people know about it, the better.
Delia calling from downstairs: Stan, your mother is here!
Stan: Okay, Mrs. Deetz! I’ll be down in a second. *turns back to Lydia* You wanna come down and say hi to my mom really quick? She’s been wanting to meet you for a while now.
Lydia smiling: Sure! It’s about damn time that I meet one of your parents anyway.
They both head downstairs together as they see their mothers talking with each other on the couch.
   Stan: Hi, mom.
Sharon: Hi, Stanley. How was your day today?
Stan: It was a lot fun, all thanks to Lydia here.
Lydia: Hello, Mrs. Marsh. It’s so nice to finally meet you.
Sharon: I’m so happy to meet you too, Lydia. Stan has told me so much about you, and your beauty is definitely one of them. You look so lovely.
Lydia: Thank you, Mrs. Marsh. But spooky is something that I prefer to be called as instead of lovely.
Sharon: Oh, okay. But anyway, what did you two do today?
Lydia: We watched some horror movies together. We watched the Hammer version of Dracula, Night of the Living Dead, and Monster Marshmallows from Miami.
Delia: Ugh, you showed Stan that Marshmallow movie? I don’t understand on how you find a movie like that so entertaining.
Lydia: It may be a cheesy B monster movie, but it’s also a lot of fun that way. You just gotta have the right taste for it.
Stan: Yeah, much like how I view Alien Resurrection. It’s so bad, that it’s also entertaining like hell.
Sharon: I’m just happy to see you two having a lot of fun together. Well anyway, it’s time for me and Stan to be heading back. I wanna try to be back home before it gets dark, and you’re probably aware by now on how long it takes for us to drive between here and our current home.
Lydia: I understand, Mrs. Marsh. It was wonderful in meeting you today. Hopefully I can come over to your place someday.
Stan: How about on my birthday? It’ll be on a Friday as I also plan on throwing a party right after school on that day. I’ll be inviting some friends over, and I was gonna invite you first.
Lydia smiling: Aww, Stanley. I absolutely would love to come to your birthday party! *turns to her mother* Mother, can I go over to the party, please? Stan has been over here a couple times so far, and I still haven’t visit over to his house yet.
Delia: Ooh, alright, sweetheart. Since you’ve been getting great grades at your new school so far, I’ll let you go over to Stan’s house.
Lydia super happy: Thank you so much, mother! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Sharon: Then I look forward in seeing you again during Stan’s birthday, Lydia. And I’ll see you in an another date, Delia. Have a good night.
   Delia: You too. Drive safely.
Stan smiling: Today was some of the most fun that I ever had in a while, Lydia. I’m really excited to see what more fun lies ahead of us.
   Lydia smiling: Me too.
They both hug each other for one more time, and then Stan heads out to the door with his mother.
Stan: See you at school. Bye.
   Lydia: Bye.
Both Stan and his mother went into the van, and they begin the drive back home.
Sharon: Stanley, I can tell that you two have strong feels for each other. Have you told her yet about your love for her?
Stan: Not yet. I really don’t want to rush on admitting my honest feeling towards her.
Sharon: Well, judging on the way that you two smiled and hugged each other, it sounds like you two are starting to fall in love. You need to tell her about your true feelings for her sooner than later.
Stan: *sigh* When the moment is right, I’ll tell her that I love her so deeply.
In the next chapter, Lydia heads over to Stan’s house for the first time.

Conquering Rainway
Ever since my first concert experience, I’ve dreamed of going to as many shows and festivals as I could. For years I’ve settled for livestreams and webcasts, vowing that one day I would fly to a music festival abroad where all my faves are playing. I didn’t expect 2017 to be the year it begins.
Tumblr media
We arrived at Singapore two days before the festival to make time for sightseeing. This was my first time overseas and I wanted to see everything! We decided the night before to get to the venue as early as possible to get one of the free ponchos they were giving away at the festival. The weather forecast for that day has not changed all week, so we were expecting rain to happen at some point during the festival.
Tumblr media
The weather was great that morning though: sunny like we’re baking in an oven. It was the perfect weather for us to take a few photos of the area and take some selfies. It was also too hot that I had to get myself a cap to shield my poor scalp from burning. It’s okay, their caps were cute. All the merch at the booth was cute, tbh. We arrived just in time for Stars and Rabbit opening the festival. While I did enjoy the songs they had on spotify, it certainly paled in comparison to hearing and seeing them play it live.
Tumblr media
Tash Sultana played next, and she was AMAZING. It was no surprise that a crowd gathered even before she took the stage. Sadly we didn’t go too close to the stage because we were busy unintentionally getting our tan on. To be honest, I’ve never been early and relaxed enough at a festival to check out the booths and get free stuff. Laneway was the first time I got to really experience casually walking around the festival grounds and stage hop. We got free perfumes, and gif print!
After we got settled with our backup stash of water (gotta stay hydrated, kids!), we went our own ways to check out the artists playing early, like Wednesday Campanella, who had the craziest set I have ever gotten to experience. It was so much fun it deserves its own blog post, but I’ll try to condense it. She started her set on a ladder in the middle of the festival grounds, then carried to the stage on a plank/raft/thing where she had chewbacca-like dancers, an inflatable lucky cat, plus trippy visuals, before getting into a zorb ball to roll above the crowd for her last few songs. She also threw kitkats at the crowd and even taught us some dance moves.  I have never been more entertained.
Tumblr media
The rain we anticipated just went to town during Aurora’s set. It poured like there’s no tomorrow. But for some weird reason, the rain and Aurora performing on stage felt just right. She was adorable and ethereal and AMAZING. I should probably use that word less but I’m not sure what better way to describe hearing her music live. People swayed and danced in the rain as she sang Wolves and Conqueror. It was beautiful.
Tumblr media
Most of the artists I was looking forward to seeing were playing at their main stages: Garden Stage, and Bay Stage. Other acts I wanted to see, like NAO, were playing at the Cloud Stage, which is about a two minute sprint from the main stage. Sprinting isn’t necessary though, unless you want to see ALL the artists, something I tried to do since Gang of Youths and NAO’s set times are only ten minutes apart.
Tumblr media
I’ve only recently listened to Gang of Youths, and I immediately had them on my must-see live list. Seeing them play live was everything. And I wasn’t sure if it was my hormones wreaking havoc or just hearing that speech pre-song that I could relate to, but I very nearly cry-danced. Their set alone was worth the trip, but I had to miss their last two songs to catch NAO’s last two songs. The sprint and maneuvering I had to do in the crowd to get as close as I could to the stage was worth it. In those two songs I got to see her perform live, it didn’t surprise me that my friend would camp at the barricade for it.
Tumblr media
My friends and I reunited at the food truck closest to the Cloud Stage to regroup, recharge, and know who’ll be where when. At some point during the festival, I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’ll probably not get to see artists I’m only curious to see if I want to make it real close to the barricade for Glass Animals AND Nick Murphy. So with our bellies satisfied, and our water supply good, we picked our spot between the Garden and Bay stages and waited for our faves.
Tumblr media
Seeing Tycho again felt a lot like reuniting with an old friend you haven’t seen in years. Nakakabusog ng pagkatao hearing them play my favorite songs live. It felt like my heart filled up to the brim with so much joy. So did the way the crowd sang along to Awake.
Tumblr media
All that Glass Animals hype I’ve been getting from my friend (hi Alex!) was definitely worth it. I’ve been a casual listener for a while but man was their set on fire. Their energy on stage was just as infectious as their music, and it didn’t take long for people to start grooving to it.
Tumblr media
Sadly, I had to weave my way closer to the Bay Stage by the time they were down to the last three songs because Nick Murphy. But trust that I like Glass Animals a million times more and aaaahhh how long do we have to wait for that Manila show? I really really really want to see them again.
Tumblr media
Finally. It. Is. Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiimmmmeeeeeeeee! Since hearing Nick Murphy’s cover of No Diggity, I never thought I would ever have the chance to see him live. I even got to sing along to 1993 though we were singing different versions of it.
Tumblr media
He also played a bunch of songs I’ve never heard before and they were lovely. By the time he played Stop You, my heart was doing somersaults. And when the beat intensified, as if on cue, I started jumping! Only two of us in our area did that. We had a brief moment looking at each while jumping. It was fun. And also awkward. Because seriously? Why didn’t anybody else even have the same idea? Were they tired? That beat was awesome! Why?
Tumblr media
I found myself near tears a couple of times during his set. I swear these hormones and those onion slicing ninjas are inescapable. It was beautiful. Hearing my favorite Nick Murphy/Chet Faker songs live was priceless. I’m so glad I flew all the way to Singapore, endured the rain and my ridiculously sore feet (istg I thought for a moment I fractured my bones bc pain I’ve never felt before) for this.
Tumblr media
Exhausted from days of exploring the city and enjoying one of the region’s most popular music festivals, we retired to our airbnb with sore bodies and happy hearts. I was sad to leave Singapore so soon. But we had a flight to catch and had to be at the airport early. I saw my first sunrise of the year on our bus ride to Changi Airport. This was definitely one of my most memorable weekends of my life.

1:13pm 03/11/17 Today is Saturday. I was lonely earlier because I can't go home tonight, due to our NSTP activity tomorrow (DRRM 7am-12nn). We don't have classes in our first 3 subjects, then the last is just an exam (in stat huhu). When I am about to go home(dorm), I heard my blockmates that they gonna watch a football game this afternoon at Rizal Memorial Stadium. Since I don't want to go home and start to review for our examsssss next week, I asked them that if I can come to watch the game also. Then they said 'yes'. I know. Uh huh. I am so 'patuki' always. Haha My only intention is to watch the game of women's football, UST vs ATENEO. Since our instructor in PE requires us to watch at least one game for this sem. I told my blockmates that I am sure that UST will lose in this game. Huhuhu. After the meeting of Francine with her Filipino groupmates in Rosarium, I went home first to change my bag before we go to the stadium. Then, when I went back to UST, I texted Leader(Thea) if where she is staying because I told her that I'm ganna text her when I get back to UST. She didn't reply to my texts. Huhu. Then, I crossed the street(?) between carpark parking lot and lover's lane. Since the plan is to meet up at cfad's gate. As I continue walking at lover's lane, I saw kuya Ken sitting there. I don't have any chance but to notice him and say 'hello'. I asked him if he saw Leader(Thea). But he didn't. So I said thank you. And also said that I have to go to look for Thea. Then, I walked again. I tried to call Leader's number. But I know that she's globe so I'm sure that it wont ring. I dont know, but somehow pushed me to do it. Then, it ringed! Omgg. I am so shocked. We meet each other at the first parked bus in front of main building. Then, we stayed for about 30mins in one Pav beside the field to wait for our other blockmates and Choccy who will watch the game as well. Suddenly, kuya Ken appeared. Heading where we were sitting. Then he stayed for about 10mins. Since my blockmates were already at cfad's gate, we've decided to go there too. When we were about to reach where my blockmates are sitting, I heard someone shouted 'NANA' then I realized that no one but my dormmates are the ones who are calling me in this name. So I looked around and I saw KATE!! Sitting from one of the pavs in front of Beato. I shouted her name 'KAAAAAAAAATE' as loud as I can until she reached me and hugged me. We hugged. Like the hug that fits perfectly. Tightly. I felt her. And she tapped my head since she's taller than me. I felt the love and care. I missed her soooo much. Like I am going to cry. Im very happy. I want to hug her more. This is the first time I saw her again since the 1st year ended. She's still thin. Haha. I love her. And really missed her, so bad. Hope to catch up with her soooon. Very soon. Then, I went where my blockmates were seated. When I reached them, they hugged me. I don't know why, but they hugged me all and each of them were saying something to me. I don't know what to feel, but I answered each of their questions and reacted to their statements as well. But Elle's statement is the one that I remembered. She said "Iris, ganda mo talaga sa ppt mo. Grabe. Like super. And ang galing mo mag-edit". I was overwhelmed and don't know what to say or what reaction I must do, so I laugh instead. Hahahaha. Earlier, when I and Francine were about to get back to the room after we finished the food we bought, Elle approached me then she said that I am really pretty at my ppt presentation. So I panicked, because, meaning, others saw it also. Hahahaha. When I entered the room, I saw Inno sitting at the professor's table. And he gave me a thumbs up. Then I gave him a glance to say that 'No. Shhh. Wag kayong maingay' for him not to mention to the class about my ppt. Then, we went to the Rizal's Memorial Stadium when all of us were complete, through riding an fx. Manong driver said to us(passengers) if it is okay to use the other route since it was so traffic in La Salle's place. We all agreed. When we reached the stadium, the fx driver dropped us exactly at the front of the place. Because, in the normal route, they just dropped the passengers in front of La Salle then walk a little bit to reach the place. When the game was about to start, we were already complete and were seated behind the UST's players. During the first half(45mins) of the game, we cheered by ourselves only. But I still enjoyed it. Buuuut, during the break, preparing for the second half, one member of Yellow Jackets approached us. She said "Hello guys. Since pare pareho naman tayong taga-UST and taga-AB, why not sabay-sabay tayong magcheer? Para mas may force?" She's a girl by the way. So we said 'Yes. Sure ate.' Then the 2nd half started. I cheered with all my heart and soul. I give it all. But I didn't feel any pain. Im so happy. I CAN FEEL THE BEAT inside. Hehe. I merely took my seat during this half. Coz I cheered the whole time. Hahahaha. Then, I shouted once the "GO UST!" with super low but load voice. My blockmates and even the three girls from YJ looked at me all of a sudden because they were shocked and they didn't expect that I can shout that way. The game was over. UST won vs Ateneo with score 3-2. I'm so exausted but I didn't endure it because I am still so happy. And I still want to release all my energy coz I can't contain it anymore. I can't force myself to behave. I just want to cheer, shout, and jump. Hahaha. When we were outside the stadium, I(or we?) said "Bye. Kuyaaaa!" and I am still shouting because of the excitement inside of me. Then, one of them approached us. He said "Uhm. Kung sino po babalik ng UST, pwede na po sumabay samin." My eyes open widely. I think half of both my eyeballs will drop anytime. Hahaha. I thought the highlights were over, then this? Oh my. Why am I so lucky? When we were waiting outside the bus, since they were fixing the drum inside, thid 4 students approached me. They asked me "Ate, pwede din po ba kami sumabay?" Then I said "Yes". Though I don't think that we were gonna take a seat inside because the bus was a little bit smaller than the usual. Inside the bus, the Yellow Jackets were seated at the most back part. And we were at the middle. The drums were located at the front. I'm seated on the left side of the bus and Prime(Camille) was beside me. During our way, we prayed first. It was led by a member of YJ. It was in Filipino, and impromtu. We thanked God for the wins of UST athletes today since women's football team weren't the only one who won today. After the prayer, they sang "Itodo mooooooo itodo mooooo itodo mooooooo itodo mooooo ANG AIRCON!" It was so funny to the point I got LSS. Hahahaha. Then, one guy said "Uhm. Bale may bayad po tong sakay na to." And we(or I?) said "What? Awwwwww." Then he continued "Magpapakilala po isa isa." Then they(YJ) shouted in chorus "PAKILALA PAKILALA PAKILALA PAKILALA PAKILALA" hahahaha. Then Denielle said, "Kaya mo na yan, Iris" haha. I said "Halaaa. Oh kuya, alphabetical po ba? Hahahahaha. I don't want to say my name, because I know that it will be a wrong move and I am sure I will regret it eventually if I do this. Hahaha. They said "Ay. Ayaw." in a little bit of sarcasm. Hahaha. I can't remember how we got on the topic about the YJ's recruitment. But I said "Kuya, pa-recruit naman poooo. Hahahaha." Then he said "Ah. Sorry po. Pero hindi na po kasi kami open ngayon for recruitment." I said "aaaaaaw huhu". But someone said, "Pero pwede naman natin itanong sa Leader namin if pwede ulit buksan, since ka-course nyo naman sya." Then they started to sang "Ooooooh(with someone tapping on something). Cool right? Woooow. And then I shout "Aaaahhh. Kuya pleeeeese. Ikaw yung may black na hawk na bag diba? I know youuuu. Pleeeease?" Actually, this is the epic-iest part of this night. I sounded super excited which I must not did. Huhu. We're all exhausted. I can feel weary. But I still keep on smiling. Hahahaha. I played 10×10 until we reached Lacson. I took a picture inside the bus. Hehehe. The bus entered at Lacson's gate going to Dapitan, then turn at Tyk's, then at Noval's field then finally, we stopped besides QPAV. So this is it. It's already goodbye. :(( when we we're outside already, we said thank you. And Babye to one guy and a girl(the one who look like Sunny). We said "Ate, kamukha mo sya pag inalis nya yung glasses nya" then the YJ guy said "Oo nga no. Hahahaha." Then finally, we went home. :)) I'm still super hype. Like really. I can't wait to share this experience to others. Hehehe. This is my first time to watch a game, and this was what happened. Omg. Why God is so good to me? Hehe. I WANT TO BE A PART OF THEM! I WANT TO SCREAM AND GROWL! YELLOW JACKETS! GO UST! LET'S GO FIGHT! I CAN STILL FEEL THE FUCKING BEAT INSIDE. I WANT TO FEEL IT EVERYTIME. GO UST!!!!
