It had been a few months since word got out about yours and Cie’s engagement. You moved into the Phantomhive Manor shortly after his proposal and quickly became a part of the Phantomhive family.
You woke up in the early hours of the morning feeling unwell. You felt sick to your stomach, something that wasn’t unusual for you. You trudged your way down to the kitchen and grabbed yourself a glass of water, chugging it in the hopes that it would help ease your queasiness. You sleepily walked back to bed and slipped in besides Ciel who quickly wrapped his arms around you in his sleep, pulling you close to his body. You let out a soft, content sigh and closed your eyes slowly drifting back off to sleep. When you woke up in the morning, Ciel was gone. His bed clothes were neatly folded on his side of the bed. You sat up and rubbed your eyes, looking at the clock on your bedside table. It was almost 9am. Your eyes widened and you shot up, grabbing a dress out of your wardrobe and dressing yourself quickly. You made your way to Ciel’s study to see him sitting there looking concerned.
“Ciel?” You asked, tapping on the doorframe to gain his attention. “Are you okay?”
Ciel looked up at you, a smile playing on his lips as soon as his eye fell on your form. “Y/N! You’re awake!” He exclaimed.
“Why didn’t you wake me this morning?” You asked, walking further into the room.
“Sebastian said you woke up not feeling well. I wanted to let you rest,” Ciel replied, standing up from his seat and making his way over to you. He wrapped his arms around your waist and placed a soft kiss on your lips. “Are you feeling any better?”
You shook your head. “Not really, no.”
“Oh sweetheart,” he mumbled, brushing some hair out of your face. “What’s wrong?”
You shrugged. “I don’t know. I just feel really sick.”
Ciel placed the back of his hand on your forehead and frowned. “You don’t feel warm. Was it something you ate?”
You shook your head. “Surely if it was something I ate, you’d feel the same?” You questioned. Ciel nodded in understanding.
“I suppose.” He pressed another kiss on your lips. “I have to get back to work, but you’re more than welcome to stay if you’d like.”
You shook your head again. “I’ll leave you to it, Ciel. I’m going to get some breakfast, maybe help Mey-Rin with some chores.”
Ciel raised an eyebrow. “Is that really a good idea while you’re not feeling well?”
“It’ll take my mind off of it,” you whispered. You kissed him and said goodbye before exiting the study and heading down to the kitchen.
As you arrived at the kitchen, Sebastian was already preparing your breakfast. “Ah, Lady Y/N,” he chimed when he saw you standing in the hallway. “How are you feeling this morning, my lady?”
“Not great Sebastian,” you replied with a small smile. Sebastian’s eyes seemingly shone at your words, a mischievous glint was held in them.
“Well that’s no good,” he said suddenly as he began to plate up your breakfast. He walked into the dining room with your plate and you followed, sitting down where he had placed it. “Hopefully some food will help you to feel a little bit better.”
“I hope so!” You replied, immediately taking a bite out of the piping hot eggs on your plate. Sebastian never usually gave you this much food, but this morning you welcomed the loaded plate. You were starving.
“I must continue with my duties, but if you need anything don’t hesitate to find me,” Sebastian said before bowing and leaving you to eat your breakfast. You watched him leave the dining room as you chewed your food quickly, swallowing it almost immediately. You finished your breakfast within record time and took the plate into the kitchen to be washed. Bard was sitting on the counter tops, smoking a cigarette. When he saw you, he hopped down immediately with a sheepish smile on his face.
“Lady Y/N,” he said, taking a drag of his cigarette. “Good morning.”
“Good morning Bard,” you smiled, placing your plate into the sink. “How are you this morning?”
“I’m good,” he responded with a nod. He hesitated for a moment before saying, “I heard from Sebastian that you’re not feeling well. You should be in bed, resting up! You have a wedding to plan.”
“You know me Bard,” you chuckled. “I never rest easily.”
Bard laughed at your comment as he took another drag of his cigarette. “Well, I know Mey-Rin is upstairs if you’d like to go and see her.”
“Actually she’s just the lady I wanted to see,” you smirked. “Thanks Bard.”
“Not a problem my lady,” he said with a bow.
You smiled and left the kitchen, making your way up the stairs to find Mey-Rin. You checked all the rooms in the manor and found her in the last spare bedroom. She was making the bed as you walked in. “Hi Mey-Rin,” you smiled.
She jumped and turned around to see you, a goofy smile on her face. “You scared me, my lady! Yes you did!”
“I’m sorry!” You chuckled, watching as she placed her hand over her heart.
“It’s okay my lady, yes it is. Is there anything you need?” She asked as she placed the duvet on the bed.
You shook your head. “I just came to see if you needed any help.”
“That’s greatly appreciated my lady, yes it is, Mey-Rin started. “But I’m all finished in this room.”
“Do you need help with anything else?” You asked as you tilted your head to the side.
Mey-Rin shook her head and sat down in a chair that was located in the corner of the room. “The only thing I have left to properly clean is Lord Phantomhive’s study.”
“I’ll help you!” You said immediately.
“No no! You should be resting my lady, yes you should!” Mey-Rin cried out.
You looked confused at her sudden concerned outburst, but thought nothing of it. “Don’t be silly Mey-Rin,” you smiled. “I’ve helped you clean Ciel’s study before.”
“Yes but this time it’s different,” she replied. As soon as the words left her lips, she threw her hands over her mouth.
“Why is it different?” You asked with scrunched eyebrows.
Mey-Rin sighed in defeat. “Sebastian told me you were pregnant, yes he did.”
“Pregnant?” You asked, eyebrows knitting together in confusion. You stumbled back lightly, shocked by her words. Your back hit the dresser that was pushed against the wall. “Pregnant?” You asked again.
Mey-Rin nodded and pushed her glasses up her nose. “You should be resting, yes you should!”
Realisation slowly sunk into your brain and suddenly you felt even sicker. You had only just realised that you had in fact missed a period. Your brain had been so focused on your upcoming wedding with Ciel that you hadn’t even thought about it. You placed a hand on your stomach. You had to see Sebastian, and fast! “Mey-Rin, I’ll be back to help you with Ciel’s study. I just need to do something,” you whispered before bolting out of the room. The maid stared after you, but didn’t stop you from doing whatever it was you were going to do.
“Sebastian!” You shouted down the halls of the manor. You had looked all over for him, but to no luck. So, you had just resorted to shouting his name.
“Yes, my lady?” A voice came from behind you.
You jumped but quickly composed yourself. “Sebastian. I must talk to you,” you looked around before whispering, “in private.”
Sebastian raised an eyebrow in suspicion before leading you into a spare bedroom. He shut the door behind you once you entered and leaned against the door. “What’s the matter my lady?” He asked.
Your eyes filled with tears, of happiness or confusion you weren’t sure, but eventually you managed to choke out. “I’m pregnant?”
Sebastian’s eyes remained calm. “I believe so, yes my lady.”
“How do you know?” You asked, taking a step closer to him.
“I can smell it,” he replied. You had recently learnt that Sebastian was, in fact, a demon. So, for him to be able to smell such things made sense to you. It was better than going to a doctor right now.
“Are you sure?” You asked.
“Positive,” Sebastian responded with a nod.
You began pacing up and down the large room with a hand on your stomach. “What am I going to do?” You asked with wide eyes. “Ciel and I can’t have a baby out of wedlock! We’ll be shunned!”
“My only solution, my lady, would be to have the wedding as soon as possible. A small wedding with a few friends and family. Then, after a few weeks, announce the pregnancy to everyone.”
You thought for a moment before nodding. “I must tell Ciel,” you mumbled.
“Do you require my assistance when you tell him?” Sebastian asked.
You shook your head. “No. No, I should be okay.”
“Very well then my lady,” Sebastian asked. “Shall we go now?” You wanted time to process this, but you also knew that time was of the essence right now. You had to do this fast and methodically. You nodded to Sebastian and he offered you his arm. You linked your arm with his and began to walk to Ciel’s study. Sebastian sensed your nervousness. “You need not worry about his response, my lady. I believe my master will be overjoyed.”
“Do you think so, Sebastian?” You asked as you reached the study. Sebastian just nodded and knocked on the study door.
“Who is it?” Ciel's voice came.
“It’s me, my lord. I come with Lady Y/N,” Sebastian answered through the door.
“Enter,” Ciel droned. As soon as you entered, you removed your arm from Sebastian’s and sighed. Ciel noted your apprehension and stood up from his desk, making his way over to you. Ciel placed his hands on your shoulders and massaged them slowly. “My love, what’s wrong? You look pale. Are you still feeling unwell?”
You nodded. “Actually Ciel it’s what I wanted to talk to you about.”
Ciel stepped back a little to get a good look at your face. His single eye meets yours, gazing deep into your orbs as if searching for something. “What is it?” He asked.
“I’m pregnant,” you blurted out. You weren’t sure exactly how to deliver the newly found out news, so you did what came to mind.
Ciel scrunched his eyebrows in confusion. “Pardon me?” He asked. He wanted to make sure he had heard you right.
“I’m pregnant,” you said, slower this time. You remained timid at the sight of Ciel’s face. He was showing no emotion but the second the news settled in, he smiled a little bit.
“Pregnant you say?” Ciel asked. “And how do you know this?” His gaze flickered to Sebastian who stood by your side.
“Sebastian,” you replied. “Mey-Rin told me that Sebastian had told her I was pregnant. So, I went to find Sebastian for myself to confirm it. He can smell it, my love.”
Ciel cupped your face with his hands and smiled lovingly at you. “This is wonderful news my dear.”
Your eyes widened in surprise. “You… You mean that?”
“Of course I do,” he whispered, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. “I want nothing more than to start a family with you Y/N.”
You let out a shaky breath of relief at his reaction. “I want that too Ciel,” you replied, wrapping your arms around his waist. Ciel let out a soft chuckle and wrapped his own arms around your neck, inhaling your scent. “But we need to get married as soon as possible. We cannot let people find out that we got pregnant out of wedlock.”
“I’m sure we can do this Y/N,” Ciel reassured you. “We can get married within the week my love. Just say the word and it’s yours. All of it.”
You smiled softly and felt tears of happiness well in your eyes. “I want this Ciel.”
“I want this too, my sweetheart,” Ciel responded. He straightened his back and pulled away from you before looking at Sebastian. “Come Sebastian, we have a wedding to plan for next week.”
“Yes my lord,” Sebastian nodded with a bow.
Ciel looked at you, his gaze soft. “Don’t worry about anything. I will plan everything and it will be perfect.”
“I trust you Ciel,” you smiled. You watched as Ciel left the room with Sebastian behind him, going off to plan your wedding. You placed a hand on your stomach and smiled softly to yourself. “You’re going to be so loved, little one,” you whispered, looking down at your belly. You sighed happily and went off to find Mey-Rin and tell her the news that you and Ciel would be getting married within the week. You were sure the servants of the Phantomhive Manor would be over the moon with the news of your pregnancy, and you already couldn’t wait to tell your family. You knew that this was where you were meant to be.

They React To Their S/O Saying Sebastian Catchphase To Him
Requested: @mocahbutterfly
Request: For Black Butler, we all know about Sebastian’s catch phrase where he calls himself one hell of a butler. How do you think he and any other characters you would like to add would react to seeing someone saying something along the lines of “wow. You’re one hell of a butler” right before he says his catchphrase?
Sebastian Michaelis
🐈‍⬛ Sebastian had spent so much time saying for himself, he had never thought about what it would feel like to have someone else say it to him. 🐈‍⬛ He’s honestly a little suspicious that you might know something but that was quickly dispelled when he saw the stars in your eyes, you didn’t know anything. 🐈‍⬛ He loved having you around after that because you’d never fail to congratulate him and sometimes he would wait to see if you would say it before he does. 🐈‍⬛ Winks at you everytime that you say it.
Sebastian finished fixing yet another problem that the servants had caused and you watched with wide eyes at the spread of food that he had created from what is left “wow you really are one hell of a butler.” You gasped and he looked back at you and smiled. “Why thank you.” He smiled with a wink as you walked over. “I don’t think that I could ever do something like that.” You mumbled as you looked over the food. “No, don't sell yourself short.” He argued and you waved him away as you turned to the food, picking up one of the plates and then the other. “I’ll leave it to the professional, there’s a reason the young master relies on you.” You said. “And honestly like having a pillar to lean on as well.” “You can count on me.” Sebastian nodded and you turned back to him. “And I will remind you how amazing you are every time.” You informed him before leaving the room to serve the guests, he watched you leave, he shouldn’t feel so warm and happy inside but it seemed even a demon needed recognition and after years without it yours hit harder than it should have. He’d keep you around for as long as possible.

Ciel Phantomhive
☕ He is suspicious at first, he wonders if you know about what Sebastian is but after a quick glance at Sebastian and a signal that you were human he eased up a bit. ☕ Ciel lets out an audible groan as he listens to what you're saying. Sebastian doesn’t need an ego boost. ☕ Tells you not to encourage him, also asks if Sebastian put you up to this. ☕ Inwardly smug that his butler is the best one out there and that no one else had been able to top him.
You had known Ciel for a long time, you met him just after he had come back and Sebastian had been with him then but when you were younger you didn’t understand how good at his job he really was, you were a pretty mischievous friend and most of the time you managed to get the others in on the joke but this time Sebastian seemed to be wise to your plans.
You had made a few plans and every single one had failed, your accomplice had been caught and now you had one last attempt but Pluto was unpredictable and you didn’t know when it would happen. Turns out it was during a board game that you were playing, you could hear commotion outside before Pluto barreled into the room, and it all happened so fast Sebastian redirected him and cleaned up everything that followed him. “How did you do that?” You asked “wow you really are one hell of a butler.” “Did he tell you to say that?” Ciel asked, looking at Sebastian who stood smiling. “What? No.” You answered. “Then don’t encourage him.” Ciel ordered. “I mean it’s true.” You shrugged. “You're too kind.” Sebastian smiled as Ciel rolled his eyes. “Let’s just finish the game.” He ordered. “Right but just so you know, the best butler by extension must have the best master.” You informed him as you rolled the dice and took your turn and while he didn’t say anything after that he seemed to relax a little more and a small almost unnoticeable smile on his face for the rest of the game.

Grell Sutcliff
✂ She went through so many emotions at first excitement that someone else saw what she did. ✂ Then jealousy because she might have a new rival for Bassy attention. Then it flipped because it meant that your attention wasn’t on her either. ✂ Then she just fall at your feet complaining about how you were supposed to admire her, not Sebastian. ✂ Is seriously considering never letting you see or meet with Sebastian again if she’s going to lose you.
Grell had Sebastian distracted so you took the chance to head over to the kid, you death scythe in hand, you smirked down at him “so what are you and the demon butler doing here?” You asked. “None of your business.” He answered. “Well aren’t you sassy?” You asked “not scared that I’m going to kill you?” “You can't, I'm not on your list.” He said confidently. “Kid William doesn’t have enough reapers to cut me from the programme for killing a kid associated with demons.” You informed him lifting your death scythe “are you scared now?”
There was a crash but you managed to dodge the hit from the demon settling on the tree branch above, you looked like a lazy lion “How’d you get over there so fast, Bassy?” “He really is one hell of a butler.” You smirked as you propped your head up with your free hand, your scythe hanging haphazardly under the branch in your other hand. “Now is that a compliment or an insult?” Sebastian asked. “Wouldn’t you like to know?” You asked. “Hey, hey! Enough flirting, you're supposed to be admiring me!” Grell complained as she walked over to where you were laying, she reached up pulling on your death scythe and catching you as the force pulled you out of the tree and into her arms. “We’ll be leaving now, Bassy, can’t have you taking my assistant as well as my heart.” “Don’t worry you're still a butler to die for.” You assured her as you left.

William T Spears
👓 Honestly hopes that you are joking, has never wished for anything more than that. 👓 Cannot deal with another Grell, if he even thinks for a second that you are going to be affected in the same way he's getting you out of there. 👓 Also very jealous and terrible at hiding it, but he’ll deny it for the rest of his undead life. 👓 Chastises you for complimenting a demon.
“Must you always get in the way?” William asked as he stood on a ledge you didn’t even realise was there. “How the hell did you get up there?” You mumbled as you blocked another of Sebastian’s hits. “Wow, that was a hit.” You slid back slightly. “What are you doing here, demon?” William asked, blocking a hit from where he was above you. “That would be telling.” Sebastian smirked as he leaned towards you “you must be new we’ve never met before.” “Ignore him.” William ordered as he pushed him away from you, though he didn’t stay away too long before he was standing behind you. “My name Sebastian Michaelis-” “You really are one hell of a butler aren’t you?” You asked. “Well aren’t you sweet?” Sebastian teased. “Enough of that.” William ordered as jumped down to pull you away from him “we don’t compliment our enemies.” “Are you jealous?” You asked. “What? Why would I be jealous of him?” He asked. “I mean… I could say it again but I think you’ll get mad at me.” You smirked as you looked up at him behind you. “We’re leaving.” He muttered. “Didn’t we come here for something?” You asked. “Yes and I already have it so it’s time to leave.” He answered pulling you with him. “Until next time Sebastian.” You waved. “Until next Milady.” Sebastian bowed. “There won’t be a next time.” William promised as he pulled you away.

— Good morning, my lord! — [Reader] opened the door.
The view was the same as almost every day. The young lord was sitting in a navy blue, plush armchair and looking through the morning newspaper. He didn't take his eyes off it. He knew she would come. She was punctual. The same couldn't be said about the rest of the residence's staff.
— How are we feeling in the morning?
— Fine — Ciel replied quietly.
For him, it was an extremely elaborate statement. If Sebastian asked him about it, he usually told him to mind his own business. And when the other inhabitants of the estate did this, he preferred not to say anything because they began to get so happy that they would not leave him in peace for the rest of the day.
The girl grabbed the porcelain teapot and started making tea. The amber liquid sparkled in the decorated cup. The girl placed the saucer on a small table.
Phantomhive waited a moment to hear the sound of the door closing but to his surprise he didn't hear it. He looked at the maid. She stood with her back to him, leaning over the silver tray. When she started to turn away, he hid his head behind the printed pages, pretending to be reading.
A plate appeared next to him. An elegant plate full of cookies.
— It's too early for dessert — he said.
— Nonsense! — [Reader] rolled her eyes. — Sebastian is the one who keeps saying things like that. However, I think there is nothing wrong with sweets before dinner. Occasionally.
Ciel looked at the dessert. The baked goods looked average. Crispy, with chocolate pieces. However, their scent tickled his nostrils pleasantly. He felt his mouth water at the thought of tasting them.
— Did you make them today? — The question hung in the air, even though he knew the answer.
— I got up a little earlier. The lord had a hard day yesterday so I thought it would cheer him up. — She smiled.
The boy felt strange for a moment. He knew how much she had to do every day. She woke up long before him to take care of his house. In addition, she also had to correct the mistakes of Baldroy, Mey-Lin and Finnian. Tanaka wasn't that harmful but then again he wasn't very helpful either. Sebastian could arrange everything but she didn't like asking him for help. They tended to stay out of each other's way. Especially since the demon has been getting other tasks lately. Someone finally had to investigate in the queen's name.
And yet the maid denied herself the sleep to make these cookies for him. He felt a tightness somewhere around his heart but he decided to dismiss the ridiculous thought. Nobody cared about him. She did it because it was her job.
— You can take them. — His words were cold. So contrasting to how he felt inside.
— The lord won't eat even one? — She raised an eyebrow.
He shook his head.
For a moment the room was filled with silence. She was interrupted by footsteps. Suddenly, the newspaper paragraph was replaced by a girl's hand and a plate.
— Let's play a game. — That caught his attention. He became even more angry with himself. She knew him that well. — Please, taste them, my lord. If you don't like it, I'll leave the residence. Otherwise, I'll bake them whenever I want and you will always have to eat them.
— How do you know I won't lie? — He reached for the cookie.
— I'll take the risk. — The corner of her mouth turned up.
Ciel took a bite. He expected something extraordinary. Sophisticated taste. Secret spice. Amazing texture. None of these things! They were normal. As average as they looked.
As he took another bite, he had an epiphany. He was tricked like a little child. It wasn't about confectionery skills at all. He lost because he expected to fight on a completely different front than the one on which it actually took place.
— They're virulent — he growled.
— I knew it'll be like this. — Her smugness seemed to light up the entire room. For a moment he thought that she looked really nice in the bright light. The glow reflected in her eyes, reminding him of the radiant sun just outside the window. What was he even thinking about?
— Really? — He gritted his teeth.
— You like me too much to throw me out — she said.
She hit the nail on the head.
He felt a blush rising to his pale cheeks. For the first time in a long time, he was lost for words. Ever since she started working here, she had done and said things that made his heart beat faster. She was annoying. At the same time, he didn't want her to stop. He was stuck in a vicious circle and somehow he was in no hurry to change the whole situation. Yet he could fire her at any time.
He couldn't stand her smug expression as she headed towards the exit. He hated losing.
— Play chess with me.
— Chess? — she asked.
— Yes. How many times do I have to repeat? — he sighed irritably.
He placed the pieces in the starting position. If she thought she could just leave after all this, she was sorely mistaken.
[Reader] sat down hesitantly in the chair in front of him. He was pleased to see her slight confusion. She didn't expect this.
The game was going his way. However, he had to admit that his opponent was quite a challenge. The girl thought logically much better than he expected. Once she even managed to trap him in a bad situation. It took him a few moves to realize the trap. However, he managed to recover and was on the way to victory.
Chess was much simpler than life. They had clear and explicit rules. They rewarded the better and punished the worse. Only those who deserved it felt the taste of defeat. Completely different than in reality. A place where nothing was black and white, only shades of gray. Just like their strange relationship.
He moved the knight.
— [Readerrr]! — The door to the room opened with a bang.
Mei-Lin ran through the doorway. Red hair flowed behind her as she crossed the distance between them. Her glasses fell off her nose. She hurriedly picked them up from the floor. Even the carpet couldn't save them. One glass cracked, creating an ugly spiderweb on the surface.
— Oh my, my, my!
— What is it this time? — You could hear the tiredness in [Reader's] voice. The head of the Phantomhive family had no doubt that she had been through this hundreds of times, just as he had before Sebastian showed up. — Garden?  — She got a shake of her head. — Living room? — Same answer again. — So the kitchen… — [Reader] said. She didn't have to look at her co-worker to know she had nailed it. — It was very nice to play... — She was about to get up when the young master's hand gesture stopped her.
— We're not done yet — Ciel said.
— Ah, but... the kitchen! — Mei-Lin said.
— Find Sebastian. He will take care of it. — The lord moved his rook, thus indicating that he considered the conversation to be over.
— But I don't know where he is — the maid whined helplessly.
Phantomhive took a deep breath. Sometimes he really wondered why he kept all these people here. Maybe he should hire someone new?  He exhaled slowly through his nose.
— You worked with him in the living room today, so start in the living room. And if it's not there, keep looking until you find it. Have I made myself clear?
— Y-yes, of course! — The woman ran out, stumbling.
Maybe he was doing something stupid. After all, the kitchen was on fire. He shook his head slightly. Everything in the mansion burned down at least once a week, so it didn't really matter. Besides, why did he have his one hell of butler?
Ciel looked around the board, studying his options. It was basically a formality now but he still waited for her next move. However, only soft snoring answered him. He looked up from the black and white board. [Reader] rested her head against the plush headrest of the chair. Closed eyes and a steadily rising chest could only mean one thing. She fell asleep. How did sleep overwhelm her so quickly?  He had no idea. She must have been really tired. She had been helping him with his documents at night for the last week. However, he didn't think it would bother her so much.
He almost woke her up but then stopped himself. He brushed away a strand of hair that had escaped from her updo, then reached for the blanket lying on the backrest and covered the girl with it.
— Maybe I really like you too much...
He quietly moved towards the door and closed it.

Ciel Phantomhive ~ Prepares a bath For You
Black Butler Masterlist
Tumblr media
It had been a long and tough few days at the manor, and you had done so much work that Ciel was starting to get worried that maybe you were overworking yourself. You were currently in the garden, pulling out weeds, re-planting flowers, and trimming the hedges, anything to make the garden look freshly tended to. Your hands were covered in dirt, and you had some on your work pants that you had begged Ciel to give you since working a garden in a skirt isn't quite easy or comfortable. Time seemed to have passed a lot faster than you had thought, as evidenced by Ciel wearing his evening clothes. Walking up to you with Sebastian behind him, Ciel was shocked that you were still working in the garden and hadn't seemed to have stopped for a break. You rubbed your forehead of sweat as you spoke to Ciel.
"Oh, hi, young master." You leaned back on your knees looking at the work you had done for today, and Ciel replied,
"What are you still doing out here?" You look at him frowning.
"You've done so much work this week. Have you given yourself a break?" You smiled lightly at his concern and said back,
"Oh, don't worry about me. I enjoy working here, and the garden desperately needs working." Ciel leaned onto his cane and sighed before saying to Sebastian,
"Sebastian. Start a warm bath for her while I try and get this woman to stop working."
"Yes, young master." Sebastian bowed and quickly headed off back inside. You stood up and told Ciel,
"I'm not leaving this garden until I finish it. I'm okay working this much, really." Ciel shook his head and told you to follow him. You weren't planning on going anywhere, but it threw you off that he started walking and didn't stop walking back to the manor, so you followed. Sighing out loud as you got inside, you noticed just how dirty your clothes and hands were, and you thought to yourself how dirty my face is right now? Despite Ciel walking with a cane and being decently short he walked very quickly, and you realized that you were tired and maybe a warm bath was just the thing that you needed to get more energy back before working yourself to death again tomorrow. Once you both got to your room, Ciel asked if he could look through your wardrobe.
"Why?"
"Well, I have quite a touch for fancy clothes, and I know that after a long day, it feels really nice to wear good quality clothing." You chuckled a bit before telling him to go ahead, but don't open the bottom drawer. He nodded his head as you walked over to the bathroom to where Sebastian was checking the water that he had prepared for you. You quickly said your thanks to him, and he left quite quickly. Maybe he has other work to do, you thought. Once Ciel had picked out some clothes for you he placed them on the side counter as you stood there waiting to see if maybe he even wanted to pick what to put in the bath as he seems to know what he was talking about. Out of the blue, Ciel said to you,
"It's not common for me to see women wearing pants, but I think maybe I'll have it be a part of the maid and servant uniform." You raise your eyebrow at him in confusion, and then it hits you, but before you could say anything, Ciel said what you were thinking out loud.
"Those pants look good on you." Your face blushed, and you noticed he did a little because sure what did he just say to you? After a few seconds of silence, Ciel asked where the bath products were kept. You pointed to underneath the sink, and he bent down to look at what you had. After maybe about two minutes, he stood back up and stated that he had no idea what would go in a bath besides water. You laugh at him, and he frowns in return. You kneeled beside him and told him what things were cleaning products and which ones were bath salts and such. After some talking, he picked a few scents and poured them into the bath, mixing them into the water with his ungloved hand. Before he left, he dropped a few gold flakes into the bath and stood back, acting proud that he had just mixed together his first bath. Right before he was going to leave, you asked him which scents he put in.
"Well, at first, I wasn't quite sure what to use, so I think I added some..." He went and looked over at the bottles that he had used and read the label.
"Cactus nectar, cucumber, umm there's some aloe infused stuff to help with any cuts you might have and umm... oh, there are violet leaves and a slight floral scent, too. I'm not sure if it'll be a strong scent, though. I don't think I added enough. "You smiled at him and said," Gave him your thanks. " He smiled back and had one last comment to say before leaving.
"Oh, and umm... I added those scents because I thought maybe they'll smell nice on you." You blushed lightly as he left; after he said that, all you could think about was the smell of the bath that you were currently relaxing in.

Hello, I was wondering if you could do ciel x ftm! Reader, in wich Reader is very dysphoric about their big chest but also likes it a lot.
They get nervous and pick on their chest a lot and when Ciel asks if they want top surgery, reader breaks down because they don't know yet.
Like, they really want to but are also very scared.
Have a good day/night
This sounds so sweet, i struggle with this a lot too so i enjoyed writing about this so much!
Ciel Phantomhive with a big chested ftm reader!

Being transgender is hard enough, being transgender in the 1800's where you're held to a certain standard is even harder, it's almost impossible for you to feel comfortable in your body especially since you're forced to wear a damn big dress all the time.
Everywhere you went it felt like you were just hiding your true self from everyone, everywhere except for Ciel's manor, you had told your boyfriend that you were trans after you started to trust him with that information and he surprisingly reacted really well! He tried to make you as comfortable as possible and when you are at his manor you don't have to wear those damn dresses, you get to raid his closet and he even orders Sebastian to specially design and make clothes to your liking. Although, being in 1800's, binders or other methods of hiding your chest were not invented yet, part of you didn’t mind, a bigger part of you hated it, you didn’t fully feel comfortable with yourself.
One day you were hanging out in ciel’s manor, he thought you were both having a great conversation but that was then he saw you picking at your chest, again. He always hated it when you did that on the off chance you could hurt yourself and stops you immediately. He had enough of it though and asked if you wanted to have a surgery eventually to get your chest removed.
That made you snap, you never told ciel you actually liked your breasts and did not know if you wanted them off, you started crying, hard and in that moment ciel rushed over to your seat, kneeling to your level so he’s not hovering above you and wipes your tears, asking what’s wrong and ordering Sebastian to get water for you.
You broke down telling ciel how conflicted you were, you liked your breasts, you hated having to be called a girl in public and those breasts being one of the main reasons why. You didn’t know what you wanted to do! Were you going to regret it after it’s done? What if something happens!?
You started mumbling all possibilities that could happen in result of a surgery until ciel cut you off.
“You don’t have to get the surgery if you don’t want to, it’s your body and if you’re not comfortable with taking the risk then you shouldn’t, you are who you are and no matter what body parts you have the only person who can define you is you. If you want to go through with it, I’ll be with you every step of the way. If not, you’re still my boy”
Those words made you feel just a little safer
You didn’t need to know yet, you can just go at your own speed, if you don’t know about surgery, you know one thing, ciel cares about you enough to love you either way.

Ciel's Past Bring Trouble
No pairing
Word Count: 1780
Requested: Anon
Request: how about.. ciel and luke bond? idk if they will bond but- i just imagine ciel and luke small talking and it went awkward thats all i can think of lol AND I have been loving the obey me x black butler crossover, and I propose bringing in Undertaker (not because I love him or anything) but perhaps also Claude and Alois? Maybe the reader could have an interesting history with the demon. Maybe the reader managed to hide a pact mark they had when they first got there? But the pact mark looks messed up like they managed to sever it? So now everyone knows MC has had experience with this but ALSO that they know how to sever a pact. Just an idea!
Black Butler/Obey Me Crossover <- Masterlist
Tumblr media
You had expected a little more of a disruption when Ciel joined the school but it seemed like the demons had learned their lesson from the antics that ensued when you and Solomon joined. Ciel had been seen around Devildom before he joined the school and saw the power that the demon he called his butler possessed, Sebastian was not nearly as strong as the demon brothers but he was much stronger than any of the other lower demons that you shared the school with.
You hadn’t really been paying attention so you didn’t see Luke walk up to your table, you smiled at him when you realised that he was there “Hey.” You smiled as he put a tupperware box on your table “you made these?” “Mmhm.” He hummed a bright smile on his face as you opened the box to find six cupcakes in there. “For me?” You asked. “Of course.” He grinned and you reached in taking one out, you took a bite and hummed in satisfaction. “These are great.” You complimented him, your eyes catching Ciel across the room, he was sitting alone, like he did most of the time almost like he was accustomed to doing so, as if being disconnected was where he was most comfortable. That being said it seemed like he was missing people, like he was looking for them for a second before he realised that they weren’t there anymore so you called out “Ciel!” He turned to look at you before you gestured for him to come over, he frowned for a moment before standing and walking over, the fact that he had even answered you in first place you would later realised was proof that he considered you equal to him and worth his time (after all he acted as if half the brother’s don’t even exist). “Yes?” He asked when he was close enough. “Here, try one of these.” You offered him one of the cupcakes, he took it before looking at Luke, he took a bite and he seemed to be thinking about something before his gaze turned back to Luke again. “You made this?” Ciel asked. “Yes.” He answered with a firm nod and just as firm a frown, you smiled at how cute he actually looked, not that you were allowed to actually say that lest you want to start an argument that you would never win. “Shame that we never had someone like you around when I was alive.” Ciel said and though it was hard to see there was a compliment in there. “You liked it?” You asked. “You have a sweet tooth?” “I liked sweets when I was alive, I haven’t had anyone around that could make them for a long time.” Ciel explained. “What about Sebastian, he seemed very good at making cakes back at the contest.” Luke frowned. “Mmm well as capable as Sebastian is, he is just as cunning, he is no friend to me, he’s here because I owe him something.” Ciel answered off handedly and you frowned. “I thought he was your butler.” Luke said. “He is but only by contract, a deal made while I was still alive, it stopped him from getting the soul that he wanted so he connected to me forever now.” Ciel explained. “You made a contract with a demon?” You asked. “You say that as if you haven’t.” He said as he looked at you and you shook your head. “You did it for a different reason, your relationship is different then mine and the brothers.” You explained. “Mm.” He hummed sensing that he didn’t want to talk about it anymore, you looked at Luke. “Well what about some friends down here, it can get lonely down here, being away from home.” You explained, Luke nodded but he didn’t say anything more. “And you two will be my friends?” He asked. “No need to be rude.” Luke frowned. “I’m not, there was a time where I thought all I needed was Sebastian and some disposable bodies, I later learned that I needed far more than that but it was too late to get that from the people I would trust to.” Ciel explained “so if you are offering friendship I would be inclined to take it.” “Really?” You both asked at the same time, Luke scratching the back of his head as he realised the surprised look on Ciel’s face. “You expected that I won’t accept?” Ciel asked. “Well you’ve not really given us much reason to believe that you’d want to be our friend.” You shrugged “but we’re glad that you do.” “Maybe the brothers will leave me alone for once.” Luke mumbled. “We-”
“Ciel!” The way that his name was drawn out seemed to disturb him but the shrill nature caused you to flinch. “What in Devildom is that?” You asked as you looked at the door leading into the classroom, where a boy with blonde hair stood, he smirked as his eyes connected with yours “no seriously what is that?” “Alois.” Ciel glared at the male. “You remember me so we were friends!” He cheered, clapping his hands together, you looked at him, Alois jogged across the room budging Luke out of the way, you easily caught the boy before any damage could be done before pulling him behind you. “Hey asshole!” You yelled, Alois turned to you with a smirk on his face. “That’s not my name.” He said as if giving you the chance to change your attitude. “I don’t know your name, so I go with that based on current evidence.” You grumbled, if you hadn’t been around the brothers so long you might not have been able to dodge the strike from the boy but you did, using it to put yourself closer to Ciel moving Luke with you. “Are you going to introduce yourself or just keep trying to hit me?” “Alois Trancy, take her Claude!” Alois called, the hand that latched around your throat as you pressed up against the wall on the other side of the room. “You were promised to me a long time ago.” The voice of the demon Claude made it to your ear “you remember me don’t you?” Before you could answer he was knocked away from you rather roughly, catching sight of the black wings that belonged to the oldest of the fallen angels. “Are you okay?” Lucifer asked. “I… Am.” You answered after taking a breath. “Mammon.” Lucifer called, someone wrapped their arms around you pulling you back away from the oldest brother. “I told ya to stay outta trouble.” Mammon mumbled before passing you behind him to Beel where he and Belphie protected you, Ciel and Luke. The surge or power must have called the others because only seconds later was Solomon and Simeon at the door of the classroom. “Hey Lucifer, who's this squirt?” Mammon asked, holding Alois by his collar. “A spoiled brat.” Lucifer answered. “Get rid of him.”
“Now now, I think everyone needs to calm down.” The voice sounded almost as if it’s owner was trying to hold in a laugh. “Undertaker.” Ciel muttered. “What business do you have here?” “The Seven Demon Lords, The Strongest Sorcerer, The Angels and The Greatest Demon Deal Makers all in the same place at the same time, how could anyone miss this?” The Undertakers answered. “Who is this?” You asked, pointing at the man dressing in black with bangs covering his eyes completely. “He’s another Reaper, one who was forced to leave the fold.” Ciel answered. “Why?” You asked. “He has a problem with rules.” Ciel answered. “They’re no fun.” The Undertaker waved off Ciel’s statement “but you’ll be glad to know that in my adventures bending the rules I can end this feud before anyone gets killed.” “Speak Reaper, quickly.” You jumped at the sound of Diavolo’s voice, you hadn’t noticed him come in but his presence was commanding even without the demon form that all of the brothers had taken, he was taking with his seven generals all ready to go to war for a human that offers them nothing but love and friendship. “The deal that the spider demon made with the girl’s ancestors is one that corrodes over time, he’s taken the first child over centuries, seven centuries one for each brother that left the heavens but the deal was made between him and the big man upstairs as punishment for the deal that you made to save your sister.” The Undertaker knocked his head towards the oldest brother. “The birthmark on you (B/P) is proof of this deal.” “How does that stop me from allowing the brothers to wipe him and his spoiled brat from this realm?” Diavolo asked. “Patiences young lord, the pacts that they’ve made with the brothers, have weakened the deal. You see the demon brothers are far stronger than the spider demon, essentially they do not belong to him anymore, the deal is broken as he will never be able to claim they’re soul, well unless he can kill every one of The Demon Lords or you order them to hand her over.” “I see.” Diavolo said as he looked over at the spider demon. “Leave.” He ordered “and take the human soul with you.” “Human soul?” You asked. “That one died a long time ago, he’s persistent it would seem and while he was the master once, I believe the roles have reversed and now he is bound to this demon until he dies.” Diavolo explained. “He was not pleasant while he was alive. I believe this is the punishment for his actions.” “Alois.” Claude ordered. “Coming!” Alois said cheerfully as he followed after him once Mammon dropped him. “You can’t make him let him go?” You asked. “Unfortunately there are things that even I can’t change, that human needs to have a purpose even if that means being used and that demon is spiteful, he always has been.” Diavolo explained. “For now we will concentrate on keeping the lot of you safe, I doubt that they will go after Luke but you and Ciel will be targets should they come back.” “They will come back.” Sebastian spoke. “How do you know that?” Diavolo asked. “It’s what I would do.” Sebastian answered as he watched the direction that Claude had left in, he had no loyalty to you or the brothers that protected you and yet somehow felt that he should help you, much like Ciel he had been wondering for a long time, maybe it was time to become a part of something again, live somewhere they could both be safe.

Jeśli pytał go o to Sebastian, zazwyczaj odpowiadał mu, by zajął się swoimi sprawami.
Phantomhive odczekał chwilę, by usłyszeć odgłos zamykanych drzwi, jednak ku swemu zaskoczeniu nie doczekał się go.
— Nonsens! — [Reader] przewróciła oczami. — To Sebastian wiecznie powtarza takie rzeczy.
Raczej schodzili sobie z drogi. Szczególnie że ostatnio demon dostawał inne zadania. Ktoś w końcu musiał prowadzić śledztwa w imię królowej.
A jednak pokojówka odmówiła sobie snu, by zrobić dla niego te ciastka.
Nagle paragraf w gazecie zastąpiła dziewczęca dłoń i talerz.
— Zagrajmy w grę. — To przykuło jego uwagę. Zezłościł się na siebie jeszcze bardziej. Aż tak dobrze go znała. — Niech hrabia skosztuje. Jeśli nie posmakują, to odejdę z rezydencji. W przeciwnym razie będę je piekła, kiedy tylko będę chciała, i hrabia zawsze będzie musiał je zjeść.
— Skąd wiesz, że nie skłamię? — Sięgnął po ciastko.
— Zaryzykuję. — Kącik jej ust uniósł się w górę.
Ciel wziął kęs. Spodziewał się czegoś nadzwyczajnego. Wyrafinowanego smaku. Sekretnej przyprawy. Niesamowitej tekstury. Nic z tych rzeczy!
O czym on w ogóle myślał?
— Doprawdy?
Denerwowała go. Jednocześnie jednak nie chciał, by przestała. A przecież mógł ją zwolnić w każdej chwili.
Nie mógł znieść jej zadowolonej miny, gdy zmierzała w stronę wyjścia. Nienawidził przegrywać.
— Zagraj ze mną w szachy.
— W szachy?
Miały jasne i wyraźne zasady. Nagradzały lepszych i karały gorszych.
— Salon? — Ponownie ta sama odpowiedź. — A więc kuchnia...
A jeśli tam go nie będzie, to szukaj dalej, aż go znajdziesz.

Nightmare •|black butler|•
Summery: Ciel Phantomhive has a nightmare and is comforted by Sebastian
Ships: PLATONIC sabciel, dadbastian.
Tw: slight angst, fluff, might be poorly written
It was a calm night at the Phantomhive estate. Pale moonlight shined gently through the clouds as the rain fell in quiet pitter patters on the windows of the large manor. It was the perfect night to get comfy under blankets and get a good night's sleep, and that's what the majority of the people in the mansion did.
That was everyone except the earl himself. Ciel tossed and turned under the thick covers of his lavish bed. It was another nightmare. He whined softly in his sleep as he relived the events in his head.
"Please stop! I beg of you stop it, stop it!" A ten year old Ciel cried out as he struggled against the tight hold of several cult members. He had cuts and bruises and dirt all over him. There was nothing else except him, the bitterly cold golden table he was held down on, the cult members around him, and darkness shrouding everything else. The harsh cold of the table under him almost felt like it burned as he tried to get his bare back off of it to no avail. He tried to use his feet to elevate himself from the table but only managed to get his lower back away from the sickening chill of the table.
A person in a white hood loomed over him with a sinister grin as they slowly lifted up a black and gold dagger in their left hand and pushing Ciel down back into the table with their right.
"no! Stop it!" Ciel screamed and cried in a desperate attempt to escape. The hooded person snickered slightly at the young boys fear as they tightened their grip on the dagger and brought it down harshly plunging it into ciels stomach.
Then everything went black, and all Ciel could hear was screaming, his screaming.
Ciel shot awake with a scream and an instinctual screech for sabastian as he looked around frantically. Beads of sweat ran down his forehead as tears streamed down his face. He felt like he couldn't breathe and he started to dry heave from all of the panic, eventually throwing up from it.
He coughed and let out another broken sob before raspily yelling out for Sabastian again. Sabastian didn't take long to get to ciels room, knocking softly three times on the door when he got there. He then slowly opened the door and gave a pleasant look at the young earl. "Young lord, is everything alright?" Sabastian tilted his head ever so slightly as he walked  into the room. Sabastian stopped for a moment when he saw ciels horror stricken face, looking at him with wide teary eyes and vomit on his shirt and corner of his mouth. Sabastian sighed and slowly continued into the room, he had a procedure for when this happened. "my lord, you are in your bedroom in your manor. You aren't at the cult anymore. Nothing can hurt you here. You are okay." He smiled softly at ciel when he got to the side of the young earls bed. Ciel only cried more at sabastians words, he needed to hear them more than anything even if he didn't know it. He sobbed and hiccuped and reached for sabastian as if the butler would disappear if he didn't, it was pathetic really.
Ciel Phantomhive, earl of the Phantomhive estate, leader of the criminal underworld was reaching for his butler like the battered beaten boy he was three years ago reaching his little dirty hands through his cage. Of course he didn't know what he was really doing at the moment, and quite frankly he didn't care. Try as he might to be the great head of the Phantomhives and juggle all of the things he needed to, at the end of the day he's still a child that needed a parental figure, as much as he denies it.
In this situation that parental figure just so happens to be sabastian; and sabastian knew it. Sabastian reached out and gently wiped the little bit of vomit on ciels cheek off with his glove. "Let's get you into some clean clothes, yeah?" Sabastian spoke softly as if speaking to a frightened animal. An almost indecipherable expression flashed on ciels face. Some mix of rage and fear and sadness, maybe rage at his fear and sadness, Sabastian couldn't tell.
Suddenly Ciel threw himself at Sabastian and clung to him. "Why?! Why must these cursed nightmares happen to me?! Why Sabastian?! Why!?" Ciel hissed through his teeth, banging his fists against sabastians back with pitiful sobs. He didn't know how to process the emotions he faced, he didn't even really know what emotions he faced at all. The hits on sabastians back slowed and the spiteful sobs turned into soft sorrow filled sniffles and hiccups. Sabastian gently pulled Ciel away and Ciel reluctantly let go of him as sabastian sat him down on the side of the bed.
Ciel glared at sabastian as the taller male opened his closet for another clean night shirt. He didn't exactly know why, but he felt angry. He sniffled softly and rubbed his nose with his sleeve as he watched the butler. Sabastian turned to face the young earl, meeting the younger males gaze. Sabastian knelt down and unbuttoned the dirty shirt and sat it down gently on the floor next to him before putting the new shirt on and buttoning it up. Ciel sniffled and sleepily glared at the butler, all of the crying and fear had truly worn him out. Sebastian took notice of his masters sleepiness. "You should get back to bed, young lord. I have kept you awake long enough." Sebastian then stood up as Ciel began to lie down. "I suppose your right," ciel spoke with a sigh and closed his eyes for a moment as he got settled in bed. Sebastian gave a pleasant smile and grabbed the candle he had brought in there for light as he began to walk towards the door. "No. Leave the light. And...and stay with me until I fall sleep," ciels voice was soft and fragile. "Yes, my lord." Sebastian gave a small bow and stood patiently by the bed as Ciel slowly fell into a dreamless sleep.

Hello! I have a Black butler request if you don’t mind! (It can be yandere but If you can make it not to noticeable??? If that makes sense.)
If I may could I request a Ciel Phantomhive x Cruella De Vill reader? I mean not exactly like Cruella but the fact she was born with hair spilt between black and white, she owns multiple Dalmatians which are really aggressive guard dogs for her. And she has a wonderful sense of fashion, even though most her clothes are only black, white or red. She even has a nickname that combines her name and Cruel together (like “Cruel-(/N)”) because she can be really honest and it comes off as rude. She is short temper but unlike Cruella she is only occasionally sassy but most of the time she is quiet because she used to get made fun of for her hair.
Also I was hoping it would be a oneshot, with a few hc. But if that’s to much it can just be hc! Thank you and have a nice day!
Tumblr media
.。*♡ A/N: I hope I did this rq justice because I absolutely loved it. Detailed rqs my beloveds. As you ask, I did some hcs and then wrote a little drabble, though I do apologize for such delay in answer it. Hope you like darling <33
.。*♡ Warnings: Platonic content. Maybe typos too.

☆*: In Ciel's ears, the news of a figure with two-tone hair who only dresses in black and red reaches him through gossip that Lau felt the need to share. The rumors, however, were not enough to capture the earl's attention at first. Who cares if Londoners are talking about this girl because she acts different and has a sharp tongue? Who cares if she has some protective dogs who can attack on command?
☆*: Certainly not Ciel. He has better things to worry about being the Queen's Watchdog besides running his own company. Gossip and rumors are not something that holds his attention unless they are related to the murderers who killed his parents.
☆*: So it takes a while before you finally get to know each other and he can get a glimpse of your strong genius. And heavens, he's enchanted, even if he doesn't know it, feelings aren't Ciel's thing. One thing he knows, this night will be one he would never forget.
...
Reluctantly, Ciel was participating in the celebration. A glass of juice in his hand as he watched each of the nobles approach the throne, kneel and say their rehearsed congratulations. So typical of nobles, so insincere. He hated it here, he could be doing so many things right in the comfort of his office. Still, he smiled and played his part when all adults around him looked down on him just because he was the only child here.
The starry night became filled with light and laughter; The Queen was throwing a party to celebrate another birthday well spent. Her age-kissed skin was still glowing, her eyes carrying a tinge of unforgettable joy, and her voice a jovial tone. As usual, she sat on her throne and waited for one by one the nobles to greet and boast about the gifts that were certainly better than the others.
It was funny to watch though. They all just seemed like jealous peacocks, huffing and puffing their feathers, wanting the queen attention on them.
Sebastian when can we leave? was what he wanted to ask to the butler at his side. What he almost asked. But right at that moment he heard a commotion.
A few meters ahead stood the notorious Cru-y/n DeVil, your presence commanding attention. Ciel couldn't help but be drawn to you, his gaze fixating on you with a mixture of intrigue and caution. Despite your reputation, he couldn't deny your beauty, a striking contrast to the darkness that surrounded your name. You were young, much like himself, yet exuded a confidence that belied your age, almost as if you too had to grown fast to protect yourself.
You seemed to be fighting a much older and powerful woman. The duchess who was always looking to fight someone and today had just found her new victim. But you aren't having any of that, making exaggerated gestures and smiling mockingly at the duchess.
Ciel observed the scene with a mixture of amusement and exasperation, at least the party turned out to be entertaining with this little fight happening and the queen was also watching you two too intently, curious, not at all bothered by it. Ciel couldn't help but roll his eyes when the duchess continued to argue and pointed her finger at you.
"Your hat is adorable" You say in a loud and clear tone, with the sweetest smile you can produce. "I'm sure it was worth sacrificing Big Bird, its poor beautiful yellow feathers wasted on this hat that perfectly fit your head."
A murmur starts around the two of you, some are laughing loudly, others are whispering among themselves, repeating what you said. The duchess, wanting to appear strong and resilient, fixes her khaki yellow hat - that barely fits in her head, lifts her chin an extra millimeter and leaves. However, Ciel knew that your comment would still haunt her for months to come. Today she had lost a fight and was insulted.
Undeniable was that the hat was horrendous.
Holding back a laugh that seems to want to escape him anyway, Ciel takes off his hat in greeting to you as soon as your eyes meet. He understood now why everyone was talking about you so much. To the court you were like a fresh breath of air, devastating if you hate it, great if you like it. And he absolutely like it. Not a lot of younger aristocrats behave this way and he really needs someone different to spend time, as Elizabeth is quite overwhelming with her affection and Sullivan is busy.
He approach you and with this gesture, plans to know more about you. He is now curious and his curiosity must be satisfied.

The door to the kitchen shuts behind you with no fanfare. That is to say, there’s no light-hearted, half-shouted greeting from one of the other quirky members of staff. Nor was there a harsh, barked order from the young master of the household. There wasn’t even a small, near silent yet warm grunt of acknowledgment from your favorite tea-sipping house steward.
  So naturally…
  “Oh, Sebastian!”
  …you knew who it was…
“To what to owe the pleasure of this-”
  …and all that it entailed.
In an instant, you find yourself cutting off your own words with the swiftest of tongues. You suppose it truly is the smartest choice. You had only been working at the Phantomhive Manor for a mere couple of days. You were still in all sense of the word. You didn’t yet have the young master’s good favor. Nor did you think you could ever be on the receiving end of any sort of sympathy from a boy such as him. So it’s only right you learn your place and you learn it well. Because while such a feeling make be odd and discomforting, you imagine it’s still better than the feeling of the knife being held between Sebastian’s gloved hand plunge itself into your throat.
“What is your aim.” His low murmur comes from behind as he traps your body from behind between himself and the counter. Despite his words, you know to take everything as a demand rather than a question purely based on the dull pressure of the boning knife pressed lightly against your jugular. That, among other things of course. “Why are you here.”
You pursue your lips, fully aware of the way his eyes would follow your every action through your faint reflection in the mirror. His voice is as cold as you remember it to be. Unfeeling and so very cruel. The unspoken threat to you is loud and clear. His utter disdain for you? Even louder and even clearer. Yet, you find that it’s terribly hard to hide your excitement. The arm that crosses over your chest to hold the knife to your throat brings up so many memories. The way his body presses and molds into yours reminds you so much of the past. When the two of you weren’t so-called co-workers serving under the most irritating of charges. When the two of you weren’t so-called enemies who spent your days and nights, far, far apart. When the two of you weren’t anything to each other.
But when the two of you were lovers.
“Knife play, Sebastian? That’s a new one…” And fueled by those resurfaced memories, you respond to him. It’s obvious in the way that his eyes narrowed into dangerous slits through the window’s reflection, you know you’re not exactly giving him what he wants. But you hope- no, you don’t hope, you know- he’ll play along with your typical game. Just for a little longer. Just one last time. “You certainly seem like a much different man than from what I remember…I wonder how that little brat managed to whip you into-!”
Once again, you found yourself cutting your words short in favor of a long life. Your murmured words were meant to be heard. Meant to rock the boat. Meant to get yourself in trouble. They always were. But you know when enough is enough. Even when your entire life is about toeing the line and saying the things that men and women wish they could say- you when it’s not your turn to speak. At least, not your turn for the moment.
Though you can’t help but feel pleasantly surprised now that the threat you’re faced with is being phrased a little differently than before. No, the knife is not being pressed further into your skin. It still sits where it was originally- relaxed in a comfortable grip as it delivers the lightest of kisses against your skin. Rather, it’s Sebastian himself who has changed. It seemed that with your bold words, he was no longer content with just trapping you with weight. The arm that had now snaked against your lower waist and was holding onto your hip with a vice-like grip tells you as if the action was words itself.
“I won’t ask you again.” He bites out behind you in a harsh whisper and it’s almost shameful how your body instantly reacts to the feeling of his breath just dancing over your ear. “Why have you followed me here.”
The way you just shivered at his words? The way you just gasped at his tone? You’re worse than you thought. God, what are you doing? Chasing a man like you weren’t the one who should be chased in the first place? All while trying to play coy as if you weren’t practically shaking with excitement at the thought of seeing him again. All while trying to play powerful as if the first thing you wanted to do when you saw him after all this time was to get on your knees and listen to his every command.
You’re not going to last like this. You’re not, you’re not, you’re not. So with one last selfish act for yourself, you decide that you won’t That you had come all this way. That you had pulled all these strings to get here. And the very least you could do for yourself after all this time running and running and running after a man you know doesn’t deserve you was to be kind to yourself. That’s all you could do. Be kind to yourself. Because if not today? Because if not now? Then when?
  “I missed you…Sebastian.”
As if you could ever be kind to yourself at all…
“What…” For once, he sounded stunned. This great and powerful demon that you knew so well sounded like he was taken by surprise. But even then, you couldn’t enjoy the feeling. Even then you couldn't look in the eyes- even as he released you from his hold and stepped away. You couldn’t. Not with your heart beating so fast you could have sworn you were alive in this moment. Not with your throat shaking so much you could have sworn that you were truly the blushing virgin you tried to appear as. “No. No, that cannot be true.”
Not with the way he denies you after all this time.
“Oh, but it is, Sebastian. Even after all this time…” You murmur softly, a sad smile crossing taking over your beautiful face. Words left unsaid. Memories left on repeat. And heartbreak that begins to take shape. You couldn’t look him in the eyes now that your life has been spared. You couldn’t look him in the eyes now that the two of you are no longer close. You couldn’t look him in the eyes when you feel like this. “Even after all this time, I…I continue to miss you.”
And you certainly couldn’t look him in the eyes right now.
Because how could you stand to see such a handsome face through the blurry mess of tears?
  You just couldn’t.
  You just couldn’t.

Hello! I love seeing the Black Butler fandom come back from the grave and I feel like it will stay alive for a while until 2024. Unlike the time Queen Elizabeth died and brought it back to life for a few weeks.
Anyways, I have a Ciel x reader. Basically it’s Ciel with a reader that’s gets called “Lady of the Night” because of her dark and mysterious appearance that represents the night. She talks like she’s a character from Edger Allen Poe’s poems and looks like she came straight out of a Tim Burton film. It can be hc of Ciel before he made the reader his s/o and after. Or it can be a oneshot. It’s up to you!
Thank you and have a good day!
Thank you so much!
This headcanon takes place before the « big reveal » ;)
Ciel his still his canon age and reader is 14! (So a one year gap)
Tumblr media
°Ciel met you during a very boring reception between the heads of some of most important brands in England. Tea, silks, furniture, land, cattle and well, his toy company.
°Small talk is something ciel is very good at, but absolutely despises. That’s why after his usual tactical greetings, he decided to just sit by a table with a small glass of champagne, Sebastian standing by his side.
°The only thing slightly amusing to do was to watch the other nobles go about their empty conversations.
°That’s where your father comes in. He’s been widowed for seven years, and was at the head of a very important jewelry and ornaments company. Ciel knew that he decided very early on to include the input of his young daughter in his commercial decisions, but the daughter in question was rarely seen.
°Ciel never met you, despite his numerous interactions with your father. Well, until tonight.
°He saw you walking at your father’s side, wearing a very deep and dark plum colored dress. Wearing an array of silver jewelry from your family’s company and striking eye makeup, that made your eyelids look like they were adorned with lace. An odd way for a lady to present herself…
°Ciel got up from his seat and got closer to the small circle that formed around you two, made by very intrigued nobles looking to poke and prod at you with their questions.
°As he greeted your father for the first time this evening, he noticed you were completely unbothered by the indiscreet questions thrown your way, answering with as much bluntness and a whimsy tone.
° « Pray tell my dear, have you found yourself a betrothed yet? »    « It is not one of my priorities. »
°Here’s something he always dreamed of saying… He went to greet you and kissed your hand, but before he could say anything you perked up: « You have the most beautiful eye, my lord. »
°Sebastian chuckled under his breath as he saw his lord lose his composure.
°For the rest of the evening, you and Ciel sat down as you talked, and you even showed him the small sketchbook you carried around to draw down your ideas for new jewelry.
°You even started to draw a small portrait of him with a certain crow perched on his shoulder, which he didn’t even notice as he was hanging on each word you said. When he asked about the bird, you replied that « Sebastian made me think of one, it is a simple artistic liberty. Crows are very intelligent animals. »
°When you had to return home, you gifted him the portrait. « We will need to meet again soon, lord Phantomhive. You are truly an inspiration. » You said with a shier tone.
°He was blushing each time he thought of you on his ride back to the manor, and he would be caught dead before anyone knew he smiled while he was in bed that night. Much to Sebastian’s amusement.
----------------
I wrote about how they met! I can image that they kept meeting up after that, and the "lady of the night" might have gotten herself into a lot of the phantomhive's shenanigans!
