does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.

#also if it wasnt clear this isnt ‘its bad its lazy’ there is a level of like #completion consistancy i am thinking for with this #personally i really do not enjoy the like. vintage chic long red nails fur coats noir esque aesthetic HOWEVER 💥💥💥 #i can recognize that it is put together it is Intentional #i feel like a lot of people are going to say minimalism on this so LET ME SAY 🫰☝️ i recognize that minimalism is Considered an aesthetic #but i *PERSONALLY* do not consider it an aesthetic i consider it the void of one #it is a lapse in aesthetic or personality in the same way a silence in a song is still technically a ‘beat’ but no music is played #however the importance of Space or Breath in design is more akin to a purposeful silence in music #because that silence matters in the same way rhythm and breath in design do #so i guess minimalism is more comparable to like. white noise. the sound of a fan #very little effort and there is a comfort in it i suppose but its not. The Baba Is You modding community is sort of the exact opposite of every other video gaming modding community in that the troll levels are actually more interesting and accessible than the ones that purport to take the game and its design principles seriously. The "serious" level packs are like "here's a level that expects you to keep track of thirty plus unmodifiable rules and accepts exactly one valid solution which obliges you to carry out a two hundred step procedure to pile six different instructions on top of each other and exploit an obscure text stacking priority mechanic in a way that's deeply counterintuitive but technically base-game legal", while the "troll" level packs are like "let's see how long it takes them to notice that the pause button is an interactable object", and I'm 100% prepared to argue that the latter is more true to the base game's driving ethos than the former.

Been meaning to ask, is there a reason for the slight "redesign" for game Vanessa? Or did she just feel like putting lipstick on after becoming Vanny?

The slight redesign was to differ her more from movie Vanessa

Similar to how Mike and Michael look pretty different, I wanted a similar thing for Vanessa and Vanny, she’s more or less the same but easier to immediately tell the difference

When he stared at his reflection in the massive, iridescent shell, he couldn't help but feel anxiety gnawing at him. His mentor, Salmonfleck, gently urged him on. Lambpaw touched his nose to the salty water within the shell.

He awoke in a place that nothing could have prepared him for. Gone were the lush forests and starry skies that Salmonfleck had told him of. Everything was dull and lifeless. The air was so still he could hear the blood in his veins. Fog shrouded the forest like a blanket. A single star hung in the grey sky, giving off cold light. Worst of all... there were no StarClan cats to be seen--
