Apollo, about Artemis, while observing her with the huntersses: Well, flight or fight, I'd rather die than have to cry in front of you
Artemis, watching how her little brother escapes death again and again on his quests: Well, flight or fight, I'd rather lie than tell you I'm in love with you

Has the desire to write about the Doomed Siblings (AKA Kumar and Shamane) but I couldn't make sense of the whole timeline. Like at what age (teen? young adult?) that Kumar was outcasted by their father? And what is the age difference between her and Shamane? Because from the picture he showed us, their age couldn't be so far apart (I assumed maybe 5 years at most). And from Shamane's second story, he couldn't remember her. So, does that mean that Kumar was casted out from her home when she was at a young age (let say around 12 years old)?
I hate that there's a blackhole in her story in between being casted out from her home and being a renowed astrology professor. I know she was the antagonist of the story but her whole story is so intriguing and depressing at the same time, I couldn't help but empathised with her.
if I wasn’t meant to be romanticising the relationship between Cain and Abel to the point of blasphemy, then why are they the perfect example of doomed siblings meant to see each other in everything?
engrained in me from childhood is still the deep desire to destroy all of my sibling’s things when i feel like they aren’t paying me enough attention and don’t want me around
