Good Morning!☀️
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control; against such there is no law. Galatians 5: 22,23
Too often, we make the mistake of focusing on improving individual character traits, often to fail. Instead, we should seek to walk in the Spirit. When we consistently apply God's word to our lives and walk in his ways, all the traits in the verses above will be seen in us. When all the conditions are right, the tree naturally produces fruit and does so abundantly. Let's focus then on staying connected to God and allowing his Spirit to produce good fruit in us!

The ongoing benefit of God
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Quote
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.

Just taught the most unpleasant Sunday school class ever (my 6-8 year old students would agree), but I would teach it again in a heartbeat. We ate Beanboozled and then talked about how things can look good on the outside but be disgusting on the inside. We talked about testing everything against Scripture, asking trusted adults for advice, and praying for the Holy Spirit to give us His goodness.
