Call Waiting
That was the affect he had. Superman. He made you think that everything would be fine. Right up until the moment he was gone.
Jason struggles with expectation and reality; what Superman had been for Dick, what he could have been for Jason, and the nothing that he ultimately was.
~~
Jason had seen him once, flying over Gotham. The red cape and boots and a suit bluer than sky; the golden skin and broad shoulders, smile warmer than any sun.
Jason had been seven, chin jutting forward and jaw set. Small hands clenched in angry fists. He was arguing with the old Park Row chemist, Mr. Bevan, who dealt in out-of-date meds for those who couldn’t afford the real thing. The old man had promised Jason 100 grams of lofexidine; had delivered less than fifty but still taken the full payment. Refused Jason’s every plea and curse and cry of unfairness.
All Jason had wanted was to get his mom off of the oxy; to get her all the way through the withdrawal this time and get her better. Get her back; to who she had been… Hunger clawed at his insides, he hadn’t eaten a proper meal in weeks, had saved up every penny he could find to try and help her and—
Superman had appeared in the sky. Impossibly huge and brilliantly bright, warmth radiating off him. He landed not two feet from where Jason was stood.
For one wild moment Jason felt like he’d won the lottery. Superman was here, Superman was here and surely it was for Jason. That’s what he did, wasn’t it? He saved people, people who really needed it. Surely he must have heard, surely he would have known; how desperate Jason and his mom were. How badly they needed help, needed the money and the medicine and somewhere warm and safe and—
The Kryptonian didn’t even see him. Didn’t just look over Jason’s head, but beyond it. Searching the layers of existence for whatever it was he saw in the walls, the very cells of Gotham’s crumbling Park Row district.
“Excuse me.” He’d said politely to old man Bevan, his voice warm with Metropolis sunshine. He’d dipped his head, as though doffing a hat, and then smashed right through the wall of the east end’s Gotham Bank and down into the old vaults.
It took Jason a moment to remember to breathe. He’d seen plenty of crazy things living on Gotham’s poverty line, but he’d never seen a man walk through a wall like it was rain. Superman appeared moments later, with Dick Grayson - that billionaire’s kid - clinging onto his shoulders, and distantly Jason had remembered something about the twelve year old having been kidnapped.
Dick’s arms were wrapped around Superman’s neck, fingers linking under the alien’s chin. There was a grin on his face a mile wide.
“Let’s get you somewhere safe.” Superman had said, rising into the sky as he spoke.
Jason watched them go, the world around him growing cooler by the moment, now that Superman wasn’t there to shine on them. It wasn’t until he got back to the apartment, dank and crumbling, that he realised the cold feeling in his gut wasn’t hunger, but devastation.
~~
Robin met him in the Cave first. He was just as big as Jason remembered, just as overwhelming; his cape a deep, rich red.
“And as for you, Jason—” Superman’s hand had found Jason’s head, had ruffled his hair; his voice warm and booming. “Congratulations on getting that costume, I hear you’re wearing the suit well.”
Jason had only grinned, dizzy with wonder in Superman’s presence. At hearing his name come from the man himself.
“Wow—” He’d breathed, watching the Kryptonian fly from the Cave. Adrenaline had flooded his veins as the red cape slipped out of sight, “I can’t believe that was Superman!” He’d spun round to face Bruce, hopping from foot to foot with excitement. “He spoke to me! Double wow!”
Bruce had pulled down his cowl by now, slung an arm around Jason’s shoulders. “I’m wounded, Robin.” He feigned hurt, held a hand to his heart. “Batman speaks to you everyday.”
Jason had rolled his eyes, dug a playful elbow into Bruce’s ribs. “Batman can’t even fly, B. Come back to me when you’re faster than a speeding bullet.” Then he’d slipped from under Bruce’s arm, sprinting to the showers with a laugh as Bruce gave chase.
Jason had heard stories about Dick’s time with the world’s finest. The adventures the three of them had been on, how close Dick and Clark had become. Hell, Dick had even named himself after a Kryptonian legend, had been given Big Blue’s blessing to do so.
For the first time in Jason’s short life, things were going right. So for the first time he dared to imagine, to think that maybe that would be him too. He’d finally have the big family he always dreamed of, a dad and a brother and Superman. Who knows, maybe he’d even grow up and be Flamebird with Dick.
That was the affect he had. Superman. He made you think that everything would be fine. Right up until the moment he was gone.
He’d been polite, obviously, kind… but ultimately disinterested. There were no adventures together, no team, no family… And when Jason had called for him, cried his name under the relentless swing of metal against bone, it was a burning cold that filled his heart. Sorrowful and dark.
~~
“I called for you, you know.” Red Hood stands above him. It’s hard to tell the cape from the blood now, where it lies in the snow. “When I was fifteen, and the Joker was— I called. I called right up until he cracked through my skull and I suddenly couldn’t remember how to speak anymore.”
Superman lifts his head weakly, eyes drifting from the shard of kryptonite lodged in his gut to where Jason is stood, the eponymous hood under his arm. “Jason— please…” The words tumble from of his mouth, limp and cold.
“Yeah, it was along those lines.” Jason says, dispassionately, breath rising in front of him. “I called for you before that too. When I was a kid and my mom was sick and…” He trails off. “You never came.”
Blood is pooling in Superman’s mouth now. It dribbles down his cheek, onto the dirt floor. Clark’s eyes roll in his head. “Was— off— world—” He chokes the words out. Blood flecks his skin, silver instead of gold now, as the life seeps out of him.
“Bruce said.” Jason replies, “Not when Joker needed saving though.” He adds. A pause. “Saving.” There’s no malice in it, he’s just stating facts.
“m’sorry.” Clark mumbles. His lips are turning blue now, beneath the blood.
Jason shrugs. “Is what it is.”
“Help me. Please.” Superman’s words slur together. “Hav’a, hav’a— son.”
Jason scowls at that, a jolt of hot rage in his cold bones. He had been someone’s son once, twice. It hadn’t made a difference then. Why should it now?
“J’son, hel—”
“You’ve never helped me.” Jason replies, he’s feeling petulant now. About all he can feel in these temperatures.
“S’rry.” Superman grimaces again. “Would h’ve. Would’ve come. If y’ called.”
In the distance a green glow is growing larger on the horizon. Lanterns, Jason expects. He puts his helmet back on, stares down at Superman, expressionless.
“I did,” he says. “Once.”

I just want to add the following: I cannot guarantee that this is 100% accurate or up to date. I will do my best to update when we get new Jason content. I have not had any help with this and got the information from multiple other sources. Because I've had no help, no one has proof checked this so there might be some errors.
If you notice any errors or know of anything I've missed please let me know and I will fix the error as soon as I can!

CAMP NANO DAY 14
[AO3]
========={·§·}=========
Bruce was going to regret coming to the watchtower today, he could tell. He could already feel the headache coming on.
"Okay, okay, next round! Fuck, marry, kill, billionaires who aren't total assholes! Michael Holt, Simon Stagg, and Bruce Wayne, I'll go first!"
Today's meeting was listed as team bonding. Playing preteen girl games was not what he'd had in mind.
"Oh you know I have to go with fuck Bruce Wayne, I mean, have you seen that man? He makes himbo look hot—"
Dick's not-so-silent laughter from his spot next to Bruce was not helping things in the least. If he didn't love his son as much as he did, and if he wasn't 100% sure Cass and Damian would murder him in his sleep if he did, he would have silenced his oldest one way or another after the third time he nearly fell out of his chair from laughing so hard.
"I'd have to say fuck Holt, marry Wayne, and kill Stagg, Lois would kill me if I said otherwise," Clark answered thoughtfully, though the smirk he was failing to hide bellied his amusement at the entire situation.
I should have kept the lead lining in the cowl, Bruce thought darkly as he fought not to glare at the Man of Steel while Dick finally succeeded in falling off his chair. The rest of the League, sadly, were already used to Nightwing's eccentricities and gamely continued on as they were.
"—marry Bruce Wayne so I can seduce his fortune from him—"
The Dark Knight had to exercise his iron self control to keep himself from groaning out loud at that comment. Please, for the love of Alfred, will someone pick to kill me?
"I honestly can't decide if I'd want to fuck Brucie or marry him more, they both have their advantages—"
Finally, it was his son's turn, and Bruce's dread grew by leaps and bounds. He knew that grin. He knew Dick was a full grown adult, but the urge to ground him had never been so strong and the younger man hadn't even opened his mouth yet.
"For reasons I will not be disclosing at this time but might possibly include the nickname potentials, I would fuck Mike, marry Brucie, and kill Simon. Thank you for coming to my TED talk!"
And then it was his turn. Bruce shot his son a Look, before turning to the rest of the League. Pretty much everyone else had gone already, and the urge to decline participating in this round was strong, very strong, but then Hal Jordan opened his mouth and issued a challenge. And if there was one thing raising so many kids had instilled in him, it was the inability to back down from a challenge.
"So, tall, dark, and scary, what'll it be? Are you going to marry Bruce Wayne so he can fund all of your sick gadgets, seduce his money from him like Plastic Man? Maybe you'll be a gentle lover to him like Aquaman here. Or maybe Brucie is the one person in the world you break your code for. Come on, what d'ya got for us?"
And Bruce—Bruce thinks about it. It's been years since he first joined the League, he's gone on countless missions with these men and women, trusted them to watch his son's back when he couldn't, and he finds his decision already made for him. Plus, there's another thing raising so many kids had given him—comedic timing. Discreetly checking to see if Dick was still recording, even after his mishap with the physics of sitting on a chair properly, Bruce turned to stare the Lantern down.
"Jordan, I have no desire to fuck, marry, or kill Bruce Wayne, either literally or figuratively."
Bruce could see the protests forming at the tip of the pilot's tongue. Clark diligently tried to suppress his own laughter while Dick was staring at Bruce in amazed glee. Before Hal could properly express his protests, Bruce reached up and removed his cowl, working his hand through his sweaty hair in annoyance before turning a deadpan look on the man, one eyebrow raised in a pale imitation of Alfred's Look.
"I trust you can understand why?"
As the collective members of the Justice League burst into shocked screeches of denial and protest, with Clark's warm chuckles and Dick's own roaring laughter acting as counterpoints to the background noise, Bruce couldn't help but smirk. He still felt a headache coming on, now from the noise rather than from the meeting itself, but overall, he can't say he regretted how it had turned out.
========={·§·}=========
So this one came from a pin I saw on Pinterest, which I sadly have not been able to find the original Tumblr thread for, about the League playing fuck, marry, kill with pre-identity-reveal!Bruce lol I read it out loud to my boyfriend, who ended up laughing as hard as I was, and he told me I should write it, so I did! ^_________^ If anyone wants to send me a link to the original thread so I can link it here, that'd be amazing, cuz I want to properly credit the people who inspired me to write this in the first place ( ◜‿◝ )♡
Also, I feel like I've been saying this a lot recently, but I apologize for not posting yesterday, I had a really long and fun day out with my boyfriend and ended up having neither the time nor the desire to write anything by the time we got back home ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯ before he flew out here, I hadn't seen him in a month, and before that, it had been almost a year, so I'm making the most of the time I have with him (;^ω^)I don't think that's too much to ask for, but I also feel horrible about not writing and posting as much as I initially wanted to this month. I figure, by explaining myself to y'all, it might make it easier to convince myself it's truly okay to take time for myself and my boyfriend, y'know? 乁( . ര ʖ̯ ര . )ㄏ that's the hope, anyway lol
Have a good morning/day/night, everyone!

Full Throttle: Since Midoriya’s training with All Might, does he figure out full cowling sooner?
Technically he's using Full Cowling from the start. The problem is that it's Full Cowling 100% and nothing lower than that. Working with Gran Torino and All Might is meant to rein that in to something less cataclysmic to use.

For the ask game, an AU where Izuku figures out Full Cowl early so All Might, in a fit of parental pride, sends him an internship offer.
All Might 100% doesn't realize how weirdly suspicious this actually is, and makes Shigaraki immediately start wondering if the green haired kid is All Might's kid (assuming he figured Full Cowl out at USJ)
Todoroki is also not the only kid convinced Izuku is All Might's kid, though most don't leap to bastard child what is wrong with you Shouto??? Further not helping is all Bakugou can really remember of Izuku's dad, as he quickly realizes, is tall with light hair. Which fits All Might.
Izuku does have a blast during his internship! They accidentally break two walls! He gets to meet Gran Torino! He gets to watch All Might yell at his former sidekick Nighteye for being an asshole to children(?)
He also gets to meet Star and Stripe. She immediately adores him. She also immediately hits on Inko. She is one of the people who doesn't suspect Izuku is All Might's kid because she knows her former mentor well enough that even if he had a secret kid/marriage she'd have totally seen the photos by now (and is right).
All For One, in light of all of this, decides to make several things very clear including a) Izuku is his kid b) Inko is his wife and c) Star is not only dying because he wants her Quirk but also because she flirted with his wife.
Unfortunately for him he's angry enough to the point of not thinking through how bad an idea it is to pick a fight with both All Might (One For All and capable of damn near killing him six years earlier at near perfect health) and Star (reality warper who does know know his name of All For One).
He ends up a very smashed potato. Shigaraki ends up very pissed off.

The 40 x Kill the Justice League (1/4)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
@the-ravenclaw-werewolf and @purplemochi20055
Hey everyone! I'm back again for the first part of this crossover fan comic between The 40 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Ever since it was announced, I was excited for the video game's release since it's Arkhamverse Batman's return and final appearance by Rocksteady Studios. Oh, and paying tribute to the late Kevin Conroy's last performance providing the voice of Bruce Wayne/Batman.
When it did come out through early release playthroughs on YouTube...it was underwhelming but still an overall good game in my opinion.
----
I took inspiration from the scene where Wonder Woman was using the lasso of truth to restrain the brainwashed Flash. When she tries to get him to tell the truth through the lasso's magic regarding how to free the Justice League from Brainiac's control, The Flash, after regaining some semblance of control, eerily states that she has to kill them and they have to die to save the world.
As one of the members of The 40 whose been brainwashed by Brainiac and turned into an enforcer, Corrupted Deku is essentially Izuku whose earnest desire to be a hero is now twisted to serve Brainiac by killing anyone who tries to resist the cybernetic alien's attempt to terraform the Earth.
----
Profile: Corrupted Deku
Personality: Corrupted Deku lacks the original Izuku's shy and kind personality, instead, he's somewhat similar to Katsuki Bakugou's arrogance and hot-blooded attitude and is full-on sadistic in inflicting any potential enemy with a slow death if it's convenient for him (though he's still pragmatic enough to take the shot).
Powers and Abilities:
Artificial Quirk: Through Brainiac's vast knowledge of the multiverse, Corrupted Deku has been bestowed with an "artificial Quirk" of the alien android's creation.
Cybernetic enhancements: He's been cybernetically enhanced by Brainiac to not only have superhuman physical abilities but also be nearly immune to the friction that would build up from the constant movement of his super speed.
Superhuman Speed: The Artificial Quirk, in addition to his cybernetic enhancements, allows Corrupted Deku to move at extreme speeds, potentially at the speed of light. It functions better than his canon counterpart's Full Cowl (minus the other Quirk abilities he would unlock, starting with Black Whip in the Joint Training Arc), making his powerset closer to a user of the Speed Force.
Superhuman Strength: Corrupted Deku possesses an unprecedented amount of superhuman strength, and can potentially go further in conjunction with his super speed.
Superhuman Endurance and Durability: Corrupted Deku is extremely durable from physical harm and capable of enduring the friction build-up of his super speed.
Superhuman Reflexes and Accelerated Perception: Corrupted Deku can react at extreme speeds and can slow his perception of the world to the point that everything moves slowly.
Superhuman Intelligence: His already above-average intellect has been enhanced to a genius level one, allowing him to formulate over 100 different scenarios with a high success rate.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Corrupted Deku is fitted with cybernetics that is capable of self-healing, allowing him to regenerate and heal from damaged and/or lost tissue.
Wind Generation: He can create cyclones and tornados through his super speed.
Lightning Throw: Corrupted Deku can charge up Lightning from his Artificial Quirk and cybernetics to throw at potential targets.
Invisibility: He can move so fast that he can disappear from the sight of the naked eye.

Also, much like in how the brainwashed members of the Justice League had to die in ''Kill the Justice League'', Izuku and all the other members of The 40 who have been brainwashed also have to die for them to be stopped. Making it a very, very, very personal and angst-filled adventure for Zuko and all the other non-brainwashed members of The 40.
To make it even worse, Corrupted Deku and the brainwashed members of The 40 have already been racking up a body count estimated to be over 5000 people (including children, infants, and the unborn) by the time Zuko and the other non-brainwashed members of The 40 go off to fight them.
As for the identities of the other members of The 40 whose been brainwashed? Well...you'll just have to wait and see~
----
Lastly, I just want to say that the next fan comic will be about The 40 exploring random parts of Poppy Playtime and dealing with the mascot villains plus learning about the lore of Playtime Co.
And, I just want to say Happy Lunar New Year's Eve! On the zodiac, I'm the rat! 🐭

An anon was asking for an irl look of what Barts hair looks like.
This is how I imagine it: always windswept due to him running a lot.
Actor in photo is Axel Aurient. He’s older than Bart in your AAIT fic but got a few pics where he looks young enough to be approx. college aged.
omg, i’m honestly impressed 😭 like i always struggle a lot with 90% of the fancasts i see, to a point where l physically recoil lol but this one has definitely outsold all of them, i hope that anon sees this, i’m gonna link this to their ask ! it’s possibly they had something shorter in mind considering S3,4 but i do think it definitely helps a lot as a reference because even with his short hair it’s still kinda messy at the front because of his bangs (? idk what else to call them lol)
100% agree about the windswept especially because of the running, also it adds an extra charm to him that i feel like it rlly completes him, i mean what even IS bart without the charm of his hair (which is why full head cowl flash suit is a big X, this was his flash runs first mistake, and the reason why I need YJ season 5,6,7 to rectify this pls and thank u)
thank u for sharing this with us, very interesting !
edit: this is the anon that’s being referred to

If statues and huge figures of Cassandra are too big. Well. Cass has also gotten a few TINY figures as well released of her.
This one now in 2024 is the one that truly showcases how far we've come since 2019.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As it was in 2019, probably the best "tiny" Cass figure is the Minimates figure.
It is STILL the only figure of Cass that comes with the ability to have masked/unmasked faces.
As of 2024, it is still pretty easy to find and price-wise attain with an in-box Minimates Cass (which comes with Batwing) going for $16.
Tumblr media
Imaginext has TWO Cass figures in their line. The first was Black Bat who was in a two-pack with Ninja Batman in 2019.
You can still find this two-pack in stores (Walmart primarily) but if you go to the land of eBay $5 just for Black Bat or $14 for the entire two-pack in box.
Tumblr media
The second Imaginext Cass was a Batgirl (a Burnside Babs figure recolored in Cass's colors). She was part of a random grab bag Slammers wave for Imaginext in 2020.
As of 2024, this one sadly has gone up in price. $15 is the current asking price for the figure complete. However, someone has a listing for just the figure at $16. 😔
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
HeroClix went with the full cycle of Cass's identities. From Batgirl, to Black Bat, to Orphan, and back to Batgirl again.
These can all range to $4-5 as of 2024. So thankfully, no real price change here.
Funko has STILL only ever released ONE Cassandra Cain and it's based on Cass from the BoP live-action movie (it's a Funko mini).
Tumblr media
Sadly, for a tiny figure, she casts a somewhat high price. Currently, as of 2024 finding her on the aftermarket at $22 is the cheapest price with the highest asking for $34. Thankfully, not as high as she originally was when first released. Originally she went for $50. 😮😶
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Gotham City Chronicles board game from Monolith has TWO Cassandra Cains. The first is in the primary game and is under her Orphan identity.
Sadly, to attain this figure you have to buy the entire primary board game. The asking price currently? $174. 😶
Originally, someone on eBay was selling this mini for $10.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Season 3" of the Gotham City Chronicles board game will give us another form of Cass, her as Batgirl.
She's actually one of the bigger minis in the S3 game.
Also of note, the S3 box art for the game was made by Jorge Jiménez.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As for the asking price? The game still hasn't been released to backers ($100 to back the S3 game). So no idea what this Cass will go for.
Tumblr media
Knight Games has a Cass miniature (Orphan) in their Batman: Heirs of the Cowl expansion for their Escape from Arkham Asylum Board game.
I couldn't find a price on this one sadly. 😵‍💫
There also was this custom Cass available on an eBay seller Brick store that's long gone.
Tumblr media
Finally, as of 2024, there is this Batgirl from DCeased - A Zombicide Game.
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Like the Season 3 Gotham City Chronicles. There's no real price currently on this one. She was part of a Kickstarter and hasn't been released as of early 2024 YET.

I love Yagi Toshinori so much so it pains me when I hear people talk shit about him.
He's such a tragic character that people put on a pedestral and when he makes a mistake, people say he should know better.
Like, when he got Izuku help too late. And yeah, he should have but let's remember that at that time, he had one friend because he cut off other people.
Some might say he himself should have taught Midoriya how to use OFA but it was said Yagi was a NATURAL, and usually, people like that have trouble teaching others. I myself do. English always came easily to me but when others asked for my help, I never could explain it to them. "I just do it" "I hear how it sounds, and when it sounds normal, it's probably that" I always say. And that's how Yagi's "Clench your buttcheeks and yell smash!" Sounds like.
Also, it's like 100% possible that he thought other, PROFESIONAL teachers would help his student! They know what to do while he doesnt!
Plus, Yagi kind of a hermit.
He became a "hero" super young, we know shit about his parents, his life before Nana and Gran. During his whole life he has had... three friends? David, Sir and Tsukauchi. And that's it. Nana, Gran were his teachera, Melissa is his niece. And that's it.
Someone should wrap this man in a blanket and watch old hero movies with him...
(I could talk more, like how it was fucked up when he was kind of abandoned by his friends because he wouldn't listen to them about retirement. Yes, tell a man whose entire life centered about heroics to quit it. Yes. )
All Might is someone who isn't perfect but he doesn't deserve the bashing he gets in the fandom. The whole deal about him is that despite being the Symbol of Peace, he also happens to be human and has flaws that are clearly exposed but on which he works.
Your comment about how Toshinori probably expected Izuku's teachers does make sense considering that a hour with Gran Torino was what it took for Izuku to start learning about Full Cowl. There is also the fact that OFA is one of a kind quirk, a ninth-generation-quirk long past quirk transcendence since it stockpiled a ton of energy while in All Might, so he had no way to know how the quirk would react with Izuku. I feel that people tend to forget All Might and Izuku received very different versions of OFA.

Capes and Cloaks and Cowls and a Park
A self-contained sandbox setting in a vanished wizard’s ultradimensional theme park realm. Designed for Hypertellurians and other fantasy roleplaying games.
Full of action, surprises, and fun, it includes:
Multiple, individually themed islands floating in a golden sky. Each island features three or more adventure sites, many with illustrated maps.
Dozens of wonderful characters and creatures, described using the system neutral HAWK (has, acts, wants, knows) method.
Fourteen capes, cloaks, and cowls most marvelous, detailed and illustrated. Fashion need no longer be a secondary concern in your games.
Dozens of tags to quickly and easily impart a property to a garment, fabric, or item. Some require a little improvisation, but most translate fairly directly into a rule from a given system.
100, yes, one-hundred treasures for characters to find. Not all of them as grand as the first ten, not all as magical as some, but all incredible or remarkable.
Simple but dramatic rules for magical grimoires, including two complete sample ones, each with a ritual to unlock its power, a minor effect, and multiple spells.
It comes as a lush hardcover A5 book with over 100 pages, full of original illustrations by Katie Wakelin and isometric maps by Diogo Nogueira. Naturally, it includes a bookmark ribbon.

High res versions of the art, a Foundry VTT module, and other formats, as well as a full compendium of our 100+ items can be found on our Patreon
Observer's Cowl
While the screeching call of a majestic bird is often cause for excitement, there are a few that make things a bit more… terrifying. Ruling the skyways, the Drudgework Observers have come to be known as a terrifyingly perfect scout for skyfaring dwarves. Outfitted with the latest in optical tech, some conniving individual saw fit to repurpose that technology for use in a helm. Clever I must say, if a bit daring. One does wonder where they got the parts.
If you want to see more of our items you can check us out on our Website, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Bluesky, Threads or Instagram where we post them regularly. You can also find us at our Discord server where you can hang out and chat with the community.

Another WIP piece. This time it's of me exploring the ways in which Charlie changed between first meeting with Batman -> 5+ years of working with him. I do think I'm stealin' the Arkh.m Knight name for her older version, mostly because in my lil fan fics (which. I should probably post someday) I don't plan on using the name for Jason.
But current thought process with design is that she 100% prefers full helmets to cowls or masks as it protects her head. She also loosened up from the military upbringing she picked up from her father & Wintergreen, shedding most the stiff posture & the military adjacent haircut. I do think I need to shrink her Adult version a pinch- I do not think Charlotte 'pushing 5'6 by 13' Wilson got that much of a second growth spurt. Like I'd guess that second FB is nearly 6ft if it was standing straight....

Full Throttle AU: So Izuku obviously sweeps the sports festival, no doubt about that. But what stops AFO from recognizing Izuku as the 9th holder and keeps this from becoming Early Cowling 2: Electric Boogaloo?
Midoriya might actually be too powerful to compete. If he ran the Obstacle Course, the force of his movements would destroy the track and potentially endanger the competitors or the audience. Imagine if he threw a single punch in the tournament? He'd kill his opponent and about 20% of the audience.
What's stopping AFO from attacking? The fact that Midoriya can use 100% of One For All already. Anything All For One throws at him would get obliterated, with the exception of showing up in person, and considering that he is already so wounded, he wouldn't want to do that.
