Tucker is the reincarnation of Dullaman, the son of Chay-Ara and Bashari better known by their current incarnations Shayera “Hawkgirl” Hol and John “Green Lantern” Stewart.

Chay-Ara, Khufu and Bashari where in a triad and Khufu named Dullaman his successor.

Sam, Danny and Valerie’s previous incarnations were lovers of Dullaman

Sam’s past incarnation was Semat, a noble betrothed to Dullaman.

Danny’s past incarnation was Pakhom, a priest of Osiris and childhood friend of Dullaman.

Valerie’s past incarnation was Valia, the half Amazonian bodyguard of Dullaman.

Hotep-Ra was insanely jealous of Dullaman’s magical abilities so he created the Scarab Scepter to control the boy pharaoh. Hotep-Ra’s control was so great he even got Dullaman to kill Semat, Pakhom and Valia.

Bashari was out on campaign but when he returned and found out what happened he had Hotep-Ra mummified alive and cursed.

Dullaman ended up cursing himself and his lovers to be reborn together and then killed himself

Bashari had the four buried together in Dullaman’s tomb.

Hawkgirl meets Tucker at the museum exhibition of Dullaman’s tomb. Tucker doesn’t believe Hawkgirl is his mothers reincarnation because Tucker thinks he is ascribing his current friends faces to his past memories.

Just before lockdown I picked up writing as a hobby.  I’ve been blogging on here for 10+ years but wanted to write more specific pieces and really get them out there.  

My chosen topics were retro video games, nostalgia and the power of childhood imagination.  I knew my stories were pretty unique to me, but I just hoped that someone out there connected with them and maybe shared similar experiences.

All in all, I was pretty lonely and was hoping that my writing would help me interact with more people.

I wrote about how those subjects affected my mental health, led to conversations with strangers from across the globe, to me breaking the law, and in some cases addiction.

I tried to make them accessible to people who never even played the games in question or were interested in the specific topics. I hope I was successful in that.

I managed to get a few published across the internet on sites such as GameTripper, GrownGaming and RetroVideoGamer and if you fancy checking them out I've collected all my articles on my Medium writers page, which you can check out HERE. I really appreciate anyone who gives them a read and I hope you enjoy them.

This is part of a fic I've been working on about how Hawkeye comes out to everyone at the 4077th. This takes place the night that Tommy dies. Hawkeye wakes up from a nightmare about him, and Trapper comforts him:

“What?” he asks.

“Nothing.”

“You look constipated.”

Trapper shrugs. “Wasn’t what I was expecting, is all.”

“Sorry to disappoint. I’ll tell my subconscious to write better material next time.”

“Nah, it’s not that. It’s just…I thought you would’ve told me.”

“Told you what?”

“That you loved him.”

Hawk’s stomach swoops in dread. “Excuse me?” It comes out more defensive than he intended. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

“Don’t bother. You’re not fooling anyone,” Trap says, waving dismissively. “I may be stupid sometimes, but I’m no idiot.”

The amusement spelled across Trapper’s face disarms Hawkeye enough to attempt a witty retort. “Spoken like a true scholar.”

“I try,” Trapper responds, once again flashing his disarming smile. He nudges Hawkeye in the side and encourages, “You can talk about it if you want to. The tattle-tale is spending the night in Post-Op, remember?”

Hawkeye glances at the empty cot and nods in faux solemnity. “Margaret should break him more often.”

“So?”

“So what?”

“So how did it happen—you and Tommy?”

Hawkeye raises a brow at the question, but indulges Trapper’s curiosity with a simple, “You know how it is. We were young, drunk...”

“You make the first move?”

Hawkeye shakes his head, smiling softly at the memory. Crabapple Cove, sophomore year of highschool—the two of them sneaking out late to the woods behind Hawkeye’s house, stolen liquor in hand. Snaps of twigs below their feet and hushed giggles. Tommy’s hand catching Hawkeye’s arm as he stumbled over the underbrush. His friend’s voice echoes into the present: Be careful, klutz. You won’t always have me to catch you. 

“You know how I get—I was flirting and–and he was just mad enough to call my bluff.”

Where would I be without my knight in shining armor? Hawkeye had joked once he regained his footing, and Tommy had said, without missing a beat, Yeah, but last time I checked, a knight usually scores a princess, not the ugly step-brother. Hawkeye couldn’t help but snap, For your information, I'd make a fine damsel in–

“He shut you up?” Trapper asks, quieting the memory.

“You could say that,” Hawkeye mutters back, glancing over his shoulder before adding, “He kissed me mid-sentence. We didn’t talk much after that.”

“I bet."

I might have said this before but every time I see Ethan Hawke he looks like a different person. Like I know these movies are literally ten years apart but like he looks so different in Sinister compared to him in the black phone. Like I genuinly thought I never saw him before when I watched the black phone then a few days later I figured out I had seen him before.

Also for a good 10 minutes I thought he was Tony Hawke the skateboard guy.

wip tag from @majorbaby and @marley-manson and in honor of these beloved mashtuals here's a bit from something I'm tinkering on more than working on.

buuuut companion piece to BJ Goes to Maine is of course Trapper Goes to Maine, and here's a tiny little bit where they talk about Frank:

“I saw him at a conference about six months ago,” Trapper says, laughing. “You can’t imagine what it was like looking up across a room and pow, there’s old ferret face.”

Hawkeye laughs too, because he can imagine it. He can imagine it very clearly. Frank’s tight, pursed expression, his soft chin, his blue eyes. Of course in his imagination Frank is still in his fatigues. It’s hard to imagine him in civilian clothes, even now. 

“I went over to say hello and he tried to run away from me.” 

“But you caught him?”

“In a net. Cornered him. I asked about you.” 

“Oh.” 

“You know what he said?” 

Hawkeye shakes his head. He and Frank didn’t exactly part ways on good terms, which suited Hawkeye fine at the time. It still does, all things considered. All the pity in the world couldn’t overcome the annoyance over Frank’s promotion and the anger that he’d been sent home while, again, Hawkeye had been left in Korea. 

“He said that I broke your heart. That I really hurt you, leaving like I did, and that I should be ashamed of myself.”

The smile, the light laugh, is still there but Trapper’s faking it now. Hawkeye is somewhat moved by Frank’s defense of him. Who would’ve guessed? He’s almost sorry for all those times he prayed Frank was getting elbowed in the ribs by his boney wife. 

“Wow,” Hawkeye breathes. He wants to keep laughing but he can’t make himself. He says, “He was right. For once.”

The air goes out of the room. “Hawk, I’m so sorry, I—“ 

Hawkeye puts a hand over his mouth. The time for apologies is long past. “It doesn’t matter anymore. You’re here now. Frank is somewhere far, far away.” 

The smile returns, all warmth. Hawkeye's favorite kind. He can feel it against his fingers. 

Trapper says, “He always liked you.” 

“Did he? I don’t remember it like that.” 

“He did. He wanted you to like him more than anything, I think.” 

“Too bad his personality was so rotten.” 

“Yeah, too bad.��� 

Hawkeye talks about those last few months with Frank, when Margaret was engaged. How he was almost part of the gang, sometimes. Almost a pal, almost willing to play along on a gag. Almost so pathetic he earned pity and kindness. Almost.

Talking about that time leads easily into talking about BJ. And so Hawkeye talks about BJ— a lot.
