a/n: I wrote this in an hour in the bathtub so if it is shit- don’t tell me bc I’m just getting back into writing 😭😭

He fits this trope so well.

He is THEE resident pretty boy of UA so it makes perfect sense that he has the prettiest girl in all of Japan. (The world)

He is the teeny weeny ist bit dense on like how to take proper photos of you for the ‘gram but trust that he WILL be searching up everything about lighting and angles and exposure and zoom- all that nonsense.

If you’re a social media girly he may leave like one or two comments. He isn’t the best about being outwardly obsessed with you, he is all about those private small moments. Not being able to take his eyes off you anywhere. Always needing to be beside you. If he can’t be with you then trust he is texting you at every free moment and expects a response within 5 minutes.

He loves shopping with you and helping you pick out outfits or jewelry or how to style your makeup that day. He has no real opinion on what looks better tho he just loves seeing you get all prettied up. (Yk that tiktok where the girl is trying to decide on a dress color and her bf is just like “wtv u want mama u look breathtaking in both” ?That’s him.)

I feel like he doesn’t really buy you anything in the beginning of your relationship bc he doesn’t really see the point/value or something in that BUT all it takes is for kaminari to get you some product you’ve been wanting for a while for secret santa and seeing how touched you were by the gesture sends him into over drive:

“OH MY GOD! KAMI!!” You exclaim- wrapping your arms around him. “How did you know? I’ve been looking for this everywhere!” Shoto notices how big your eyes got and the slight blush on your cheeks from excitement and he feels, something unpleasant. Jealousy? Envy? Possessiveness? Whatever it is he doesn’t like how grateful you’re acting toward the blonde. I mean sure, he got you something nice you’ve wanted but that’s not his job (he just so happened to get you for secret santa so he kind of had to get you something) he’s not your boyfriend only your boyfriend- HIM- should be gifting you stuff. Then he kinda has a “ohh.” Moment and realizes he has never really gotten you anything just because.

Anyways after that whole interaction he is getting you anything and everything you look at for more than a second. You keep looking at some necklace at the store? Bought. He sees you liking tiktoks about girls getting flowers? Now you’re getting a bouquet every date night. Does he himself have money? No, but that No.1 hero daddy sure does. And let’s be honest he kind of owes shoto for making his childhood - for lack of a better word- awful.

In conclusion, Shoto loves his pretty girl and will do anything she asks of him without question.

Clawing at my cage for this man.

Now sero has been… infatuated with you since he first laid eyes on you one faithful morning. You were ordering at some coffee shop he passes by on his way to school and just one glance had him stopped dead in his tracks. The way your hair framed your face perfectly, your face in general because holy shit- you were gorgeous. Straight out of a magazine. He quickly took notice of the little embellishments you made to your uniform.. uniform? The same one Mina has. OH MY GOD YOU GO TO UA AND HE HAS NEVER SEEN YOU BEFORE?

He literally cannot stop thinking about you and boom you appear again in the halls. Your going the opposite direction has him with your friends and he sees you all have a little cafe cup. Did you buy them all a drink before class? So you’re stupidly gorgeous and nice. Great, he, for sure, has no chance with you now.

But oh that’s where he is wrong.

When you guys start dating he actually cannot believe it. He is very guarded at first because- now it’s my personal hc that sero is a bit insecure- he can’t fathom how you, YOU, would actually want to date someone like…him.

But once those walls come down he doesn’t shut up about you. Seriously all his friends are so annoyed:

“Good god soy sauce if you mention your little girly friend again I’m hurling you across the city.”

“You’re just mad you don’t have a girl as pretty as mine- don’t worry baku-man, I’m sure one day some poor person will take pity on your soul.”

Sero did in fact get hurled across the city that day.

Now where he differs from Shoto is that this man is a GOD with a camera. He has that artistic eye and is able to capture you being your baddest/cutest/authentic self.

Literally ya’ll

He also has a good sense of style. He never thinks you look bad in one thing versus another but he will take into account the vibe of where you’re going and what’s you’ll be doing and give his opinion based on that. Because he grew up with sister and knows how to get around the “which one looks better?” Type question without hurting you.

Now sero doesn’t have money to spoil you senseless but what he does have is the forever lasting instinct to put your comfort above his own. It’s freezing and you didn’t wear a jacket because “a hoe ever gets cold”? Don’t worry sero will give you his and be visibly growing icicles on his body to keep you warm. Feet hurt from those impractical shoes? He’s caring you all the way home even if he is still terribly sore from a killer arm workout the day before with kirishima. A no a mudy puddle and you’re wearing your new white shoes :(! Well sero is laying his jacket down over it or simply caring you over the puddle. He isn’t the type to roll his eyes at how “ridiculous” or “spoiled” you’re being. You are y/n freaking l/n. He’ll do whatever you need to make sure nothing in your life goes wrong.

He also is the type to spam comments in your TikTok or Insta post and makes all his friends do the same. Not that you need it- he just loves fueling your ego.

"A lot of people ask me how Harry Styles ended up recording at my house when we'd virtually never crossed paths before. It was actually Taylor (Swift) who kind of set the whole thing up. They spoke at the Grammys last year and she apparently gave him my number so we could work together...He called and asked if I was available to help with his album at all. At the time I was on the road, then working on stuff for the band, and it just kind of went back and forth for a few months while we tried to line up our schedules. Then I was done touring, but I was kind of in a weird state in life where I didn't want to leave the house or hang out with anyone. And I remember making up excuses because I wasn't really up to making myself presentable to a whole team of people I'd never met before and having our first meeting be this huge thing. I'd basically built it all up in my head about how our ideas would clash and we wouldn't get along and I just kept telling him maybe some other time. Long story short, Harry showed up at my place a week later by himself with just a guitar, a notebook, and my favorite takeout order. We spent the whole day together working on a bunch of different stuff from themes to genres of music to sampling and mixing. And writing. Lots and lots of writing. And now he's a dear friend. He's so sweet and so talented. I wish him all the best with the new album."

Interviewer (I): What's one memory or experience you can share from making this album? Any trips to Japan or Jamaica?

Harry (H): We stayed in Los Angeles mostly for this one. But erm...in terms of a specific memory...I would say that while I was working with Y/n, one of the tracks was actually inspired by her cat.

I: Really?

H: Yeah. Whenever it did something to annoy Y/n, which was quite often, she'd call her a little freak. The song's obviously not about the cat, but the phrase was in my head and yeah. Things just kind of...snowballed from there.

I: The sound that Y/n's band has is more rock centric, a similar sound to your first album. Is that what we can expect for your third studio album?

I: You've become quite close to Y/n L/n it seems like.

H: Not necessarily. Y/n and I collaborated, but she also let me take the reins in terms of sound. She had opinions of course and we would bounce ideas off of each other...but she really just followed my lead and supported the vision I had. She is playing a majority of the instruments on the album, though.

H: It's hard not to.

I: How so?

I: It sounds like you could go on for quite some time about her.

H: She's just cool, you know? I was kind of intimidated when we met for the first time. She's quiet, but you never forget that she's in the room, you just want to go over and talk to her. Of course once you meet her she's incredibly kind and not at all intimidating, but still like chill and stuff. The first time we met we sat for an hour just talking about music we enjoyed and live shows we wanted to attend and things we learned while in lockdown. She's just effortlessly cool. An old soul, I guess. And somehow she translates that into her music. Her sisters, too. They're all just first-rate musicians.

H: Sorry. I kind of gushed for a minute there.

H: And the band. They're just so talented, you know?

I: And what can we expect from this upcoming record? Did Harry help you the way you helped him out?

Y/n: I've sent him a couple things to listen to, and I value his opinion a lot, both as a friend and as an artist. He also showed me a couple records recently which kind of influenced how I approached some of the songs sonically. He's got a huge vinyl collection at his house. I'm honestly kind of jealous.

I: There's been some rumors running around that you and Harry are in a romantic relationship. Would you like to put any of those rumors to rest?

Y/n: I could see where people might think that. Harry's very affectionate by nature, and over the last couple of months we've become very close. He's not just someone I admire in the music industry, but as a person in general. I feel incredibly lucky to call him a friend. And a close one, at that.

I: So just a friend then?

You've worked in the same bar for the past 3 years. It's fairly common for military men to come in and get drinks together. It's always soap, gaz, price, and the one in a mask.

One night you finally speak to the guy in the skull mask. "your name is?" as he looks at you, his cold eyes lighten.

"ghost," he said gruffly when soap elbowed him, he shot soap a glare and sighed making eye contact with you. "Simon. simon Riley." he gruffs.

you can't help but smile. "well then Simon Riley. want your usual?"

"Please," he says coldly

you and your friend spent the rest of the night talking about simon. "god i dont know what it is about him but." "jeez.."

"oh ew! shut up" your friend replies walking to the other side of the bar

you giggle "ah cmon, its not as nasty as you and your thing for that old one.

she giggles. "price is hot because hes a gentle man. simon just looks like he could hurt anyone."

"sarah he keeps staring" you say entering the back to "refill something"

Later that night soap walks up to the bar,

you throw your phone across the room screaming and kicking your feet. you can't sleep the rest of the night. too busy thinking about what to wear. finally at 6 am you give up and hit the shower, then walk to your closet. "god do I wear a dress? jeans hoodie?" finally you decide on a long-sleeved black dress, perfect for winter. you straighten your hair, do your makeup, and hype yourself up.

8:55 and you're a minute away from the cafe when u see him pull up. your heart drops. you're so excited yet so nervous, u practically black out until you bump into him.

"op, watch out there" he chuckles, "looking at your feet while you walk sweetheart or?"

you chuckle, "Sorry lost in my thoughts." sweetheart?! You can't help but blush as he puts his hand on the lower part of your back and directs you inside. you both sit down at a booth and a waitress comes over. you both order and wait.

you can't help but stare at him, even tho you haven't seen his face his eyes just capture you.

"I'm not gonna lie, sweetheart,. I can't keep my eyes off you at the bar,"

"might as well claim ye before you are no longer available" he smirks as you blush and look away

you spend the next 3 hours just talking getting to know him. And before you know it, (in a few weeks of course) you are dating, officially his. the man of your dreams is officially yours.

Chan - that one bad boy that there’s actually nothing bad about

Plays guitar in a band, has a sleeve of tattoos, owns too many Metallica t-shirts and wears a bit too much eyeliner for the middle of the day

Despite his bandmates being known as troublemakers, he’s the one that goes from giggling and smiling left and right to throwing hands to get his friends out of trouble.

His band is his main priority, and school…? not so much. Misses classes, turns in his assignments a bit too late all the time, studies for his exams just enough so he can pass, but somehow ends up always having the neatest and most aesthetically pleasing projects and presentations.

Because you always do them for him. He does the work, of course, but then you get together with your laptops one night, he sings and plays guitar for you, while you sit and turn his disaster of a project into a work of art. He doesn’t know what he’d do without you.

And he realized that - that he needs you, the second he first laid eyes on you. Despite literally having his own fanclub, he never thought he’d stand a chance with you. Not until the Halloween party during sophomore year when he dressed as Slash and you walked up to him, all a smile, asking to take a picture with his top hat. After that, you were inseparable. For the remainder of the party, you drank together, danced, did body shots, smoked alone, just the two of you out in the back and then wordlessly decided to continue the night at his dorm where he fucked your brains out until the sun rose up again.

Owns a bike, and never fails to joke about the fact that he only bought it so that he can use it to take you places. His band isn’t big enough for merch yet, but you best believe you have your own shirt, hoodie and leather bracelet. And also your 2 months old niece - she has her own onesie with Chan’s band’s logo on it. He couldn’t help it.

Hates shopping for himself but loves calling himself ‘your assistant’ whenever you drag him with you to the mall. His patience is never ending and he adores picking outfits for you - either the cutest or the sluttiest ones possible.

If you’re asking for something, chances are he’s not even going to blink an eye before doing it. He’s that tightly wrapped around your finger.

He loves you for who you are, but loves your body too, every single little, tiny, and random inch of your body. You name it, he loves it. But even so, he has his favorites - your ass. While you were a fast learner, it still took you long enough for him to fall head over heels for you.

But of course he didn't have the guts to word his feelings for you. He was ready to accept his fate, ready to settle for pinning from afar, until one day, when during your training, when you were supposed to get out from under him, you refused to do so. That was it. You didn’t even move from the floor, it was right there that kissed you, fucked you and then asked you to be his girlfriend.

This man will call you anything. One day he called you ‘grasshopper’ just because he saw one, and proceeded to act offended when you didn’t answer.

But there’s one pet name that has its own use. ‘Doll’. He only calls you ‘doll’ when he’s fucking you or when he wants to fuck you. From “What do you say, doll? Should we head home?” to “That’s right, doll, taking my cock so well’

But when it comes to you using pet names, he’ll pretend to dislike them all. ‘Babe’ is too common and ‘love’ is too sappy. Comes up with the best date ideas in the world. Knows all the cool places around and off campus and will take you to all of them.

Loves to cook for his friends but always needs your approval before sharing a new recipe with them. His favorite way to spend the time is cooking together with you - or well, he’s cooking, you’re just there as moral support. The most he lets you do is chop vegetables, anything more than that would keep you too busy to be able to go and give him a kiss every time he looks at you with puckered lips.

Bullies the living hell out of his friends but snaps whenever anyone tries to bully him. Unless they make fun of him being wrapped around your finger, in which case he’ll proudly deny it and wait for them to say it again.

Changbin - the gym bro that’s surprisingly good at academics

Is the star of the football team despite not being the captain. He’s too humble to say it, but everyone knows he’s actually been voted captain and refused the title.

He’s in it for the sport itself, not for anything else. But while he might not wear that band on his bicep, everyone still looks up and listens to him, even the captain himself.

Not naturally gifted, but the most hard working member of the team that the University has ever seen. His god-gifted talents reside elsewhere. That’s why you were so shocked when you friend suggested your tutor was Changbin - the athlete, and not any of the math whizz kids.

To this day you are thankful for your friend.

It wasn’t enough that differential calculus never made any sense to you, but the way his hair fell onto his forehead as he wrote in your notebook, the way his shirt sleeves were stretched for dear life around his biceps, the way he had to nudge your thigh with his knee to get your attention - these were all aspects working towards your failure. But he didn’t let that happen. In fact he was so confident in your abilities that he proposed a bet - if you got over 75% on your finals, you had to drink with him. You got a 76% and don’t even remember what he had to do in case you got a grade below 75.

But the alcohol that night wasn’t even needed. It was just an excuse to get him in your dorm room, because the second you both sat down and your eyes met, you knew. He loves that you can do all of these yourself but prefer to have him help you.

ALWAYS the big spoon. Doesn’t even want to hear it. And refuses to let you bring up that one time you two watched Avengers: End Game and he cried so hard that you literally had to cradle him to sleep. That didn’t happen.

Also, he’s the most fun person at parties, especially at karaoke. There’s no song he can’t rock. The parts he can’t sing he turns into a comedy show only to then leave the crowd speechless when he proceeds to rap some of the most difficult songs in the playlist. To this day he still declines Chan’s offer to join his band, - says football and his girl keep him busy enough.

Hyunjin - that one younger kid even seniors talk about

Will show up to school one day with a beanie, a hoodie and sweatpants, and the next day, sporting leather pants, an oversized, unbuttoned shirt and with his hair styled to the millimeter. There is no inbetween. People stop and stare anyway. He pretends not to notice, but he does.

Studies to become an interior designer, but the technical aspects of it bore him to death.

Can always be found in the arts wing, either dancing or painting.

Rarely ever goes to class, and if he does, he’s usually sleeping somewhere in the back.

Has too much energy, but doesn’t let just anyone see that. He uses it to tire his closest friends and you.

He met you when the dance teacher assigned you as his partner. He thought god blessed him that day, only to regret soon after - the closeness that the choreography entailed was more than he could bear. He saw you panting, hanging onto him, lifting your shirt to wipe your sweat off, screaming his name in frustration when you couldn’t get the move right - and he was mesmerized. And while the things that went through his head were nothing but innocent, there really was something childish and pure in the way he looked at you. It made him happy, just being in the same room as you was enough for him. For a while - until the competition came and went, and you had to switch partners. No, he wasn’t about to let you dance with another man the way you danced with him.

So what started as a “We have good chemistry, we should stick together” swiftly turned into “Ok, so I can’t stand to see you in his arms. Have you seen the way he looks at you? I look at you like that! You should be dancing with me.”

And so you did. You switched back to him, won the next competition and decided to celebrate by breaking into the dance studio in the middle of the night. You danced in the dark, only your phones lighting up the room despite the power working just fine, and then drank champagne out of the bottle as you walked hand in hand back to the dorms.

No one really knows how you got together, but everyone knows you two are together.

He posts you on his Instagram every chance he gets - much to the dismay of his fangirls.

He isn’t too happy about the men interested in you either, but his approach depends on the situation. When a random guy approaches you at a party and you hold the conversation just enough so that you don’t set him off, if he had enough to drink, Hyunjin will just shove the man to the side and tell him to get lost before dragging you away. But when the extra attention you get comes from one of his friends, he’s all but ready to bring out the waterworks and threaten to divorce you. But that’s how you know - the more dramatic he is, the less hurt he is.

But despite his playful exterior, he really is your rock, the one person you can count on. Is an extraordinary listener, and always knows how to balance you and put you back on your feet.

Which is funny coming from the man who can’t word his appreciation for the food you make but instead dances as he eats to express how much he loves it.

And you’re his rock too. When the art teacher offered to extend the gallery to give him his own corner, you were the one who sat with him 10 meters away, on a bench, acting completely inconspicuous as he nervously watched the students that checked out his paintings. You were also the one who wiped his happy tears when he saw someone take a picture of his work. You really are each other's rocks.

When Eddie agreed to come with Buck to the jewelry store to pick up Maddie’s and Chim’s wedding bands, he never imagined things would end up like this, with Buck on one knee and asking him to spend the rest of their lives together.

They weren’t even dating. They were something more than just best friends, sure, but Eddie never thought that they would just skip a whole section of their relationship and go straight to fiances.

Two hours ago he couldn’t have imagined any of this happening.

Two hours ago when they walked into the store Eddie was daydreaming about the day he and Buck would come in to get their own rings.

He had smiled at Buck when he asked the person behind the counter for the order they were picking up, and then started to look at the display.

When Bella, the girl behind the counter, came back she grinned at Eddie and said, “Looks like someone might pop the question soon,” Eddie blushed at her words and shook his head.

But Buck stopped in his tracks and pointed to a ring, “Can I see that one?”

Bella smirked and told him that she’d gladly would.

“Eds,” Buck said a little breathless, “It’s perfect.”

Eddie didn’t quite understand what he meant until he saw the ring. It was literally perfect for both of them, it had three stones - Eddie couldn’t really tell you what they were called but one was a dark brown almost black, and the other two a soft blue - casted on a silver band. Eddie was right away reminded of their little family unit, both of them and Chris.

“Buck,” Eddie whispered, his words getting stuck on his throat, “We can’t, we haven’t even been on a single date.”

“So? I already know you’re the one for me Eds? So why not? You’re my best friend, we’ve already formed a life together, there’s no one else in the world I’d let have my back, so what do you say Edmundo Diaz, would you marry me?”

Yeah, Eddie could’ve never imagined that this was how it was going to go down, but when that “Yes,” left his mouth he knew it was the most amazing thing to happen to him.

Gwen Stacy x reader

Synopsis: Ever wondered what would the one and only Spider Gwen order from Starbucks? Me neither but take this anyway.

Warnings: Idk none I think. Not proofread. Writing this at 2am no joke what is wrong with me. Also DUDE. This is kinda similar to Intruder like wtf am I really that not creative. 😭

Also, fun fact, I’ve never been to Starbucks so if I got something wrong pls lemme know.

You didn’t really mind having a part time job at Starbucks. It wasn’t that bad. All you had to do was take orders, make them, write names on cups with your best handwriting. Sometimes kick customers out. Sometimes maybe serve Spider-woman.

Yup that’s right. It all started yesterday.

It was supposed to be a normal day. You clocked in early and mentally prepared yourself for what awaits you ‘cause you never know what might happen. God, what a good decision it was to say a few positive words before the day started.

Around 10 AM, the shop is not even that filled with people yet, three guys barge in, all of them with a gun in their hands. One of them points the gun at you and then at the register, while the other two guys walk around the people sitting at their tables.

“You empty that thing right now or Imma blow your brains out”. The guy says pointing a gun at your face and you freeze. You don’t move an inch, just stare right at him. Your eyes are not wide, you are not hyperventilating or anything. You are panicking, but not showing any signs of it.

The more you stare at the guy, the more impatient he grows. “What are you? Deaf? I’ll fucking kill you if you don’t take the damn money out this fucking moment”.

As soon as he finishes his sentence, the door of the shop slams open and (literally) twirling in comes, the one and only, Spider-woman. The armed men immediately turn to her and point their guns, but she slouches and puts her hands on her hips, looking at them unfazed.

“Seriously, you guys aren’t gonna make this easy for me, are you?”, Gwen asks and receives no answer. “…Alright then”

Before you can even blink, she hits one of the guys in the face, grabbing his gun and throwing it at the other guy. You watch as the the third guy tries to throw a punch at her face but narrowly misses and she succeeds to grab his arm and twist it, before kicking him in the stomach. She easily webs all three of the unconscious men up and the people from the shop clap. She bows jokingly and makes her way over to you.

“Hey, you okay? They didn’t take any money, did they?”, she asks but you are unable to answer. When the masked guy pointed the gun at your face, it triggered something in you. Pushed an “off” button in your brain and turned everything into blurry stop-motion pictures.

For the record, you’ve never been held at gunpoint. Well, until that day, but you hoped it was the first and last time. You didn’t know why it caused you to act like that. To just freeze and zone out. I mean any normal person would start sweating and fearing for their life, visibly shaking or something but you? It turned you off.

Whatever. Whatever it was, you zoned back into reality when you saw a white hand move in front of your face.

“Helloooo? Earth to..”, Gwen stopped and squinted to read from your name tag. “Y/N? Earth to Y/N! You there?”

You quickly took in your surroundings before pulling yourself together and nodding. “Yeah yeah, I’m. I’m fine. Everything is fine. Thank you. For helping. And for asking. I’m fine”, you stumbled across your words and even behind her mask, you could see Spider-woman hesitantly furrowing her brows at you. She didn’t believe you, obviously. You were a terrible liar.

“Riiiighht, well I’m gonna go then”, she stretched out her words before slowly turning around, picking the masked, armed guys off of the floor and exiting the shop.

Honestly, you thought that was going to be your last encounter, but oh boy, you were wrong.

Because she came back in the very next day.

“Oh, hello?”

“Hi”

“I didn’t really see any thieves or villains in our shop today, but uh, how may I help you?”, you ask, unsure of what was she here for, kinda scared that something bad might happen soon and she’s just there to try to prevent it.

“Uhhh actually I came to see you. A-and to get a vanilla latte. And a chocolate chip cookie. But I’m mostly here to see you”, you felt your cheeks heat up at her words. The famous friendly neighbourhood superhero, Spider-woman, came in Starbucks in which you worked just to see you. Strange.

“Um. Okay.”, you didn’t really know what to say to that. What do you even say in a situation like that??

“Soo, hi. Are you okay? You uh didn’t really look the best yesterday? I-I mean you can’t really look the best after being held at gunpoint anyway. Not that you look bad! You don’t! It’s just that, it must have been traumatic, obviously. Not just for you, I guess for everyone in the shop but-“

“I’m okay”, you decided to stop her rambling. “Thanks for checking”, you gave her a shy smile and she smiled back, you guess, but didn’t say anything. You two just stood there, in comfortable silence, until someone coughed behind the masked superhero and tapped their foot on the ground impatiently.

“O-oh um you uh are you going to order orrrrr….?”, you asked, remembering suddenly that you were at work. Where you are supposed to do your work.

“Oh ah yeah I-I’ll have uuuuuuuuhhh a short vanilla latte and a chocolate chip cookie. Please.”

“You’re seriously going to order the most basic white girl drink?”, you chuckled before you’re eyes widened. “NO. Please tell me I didn’t say that out loud”, you thought. But judging by the silence you were met with and the “o_0 expression” (if you could call it that) your friendly neighbor super hero held, you were wrong. “Oh fudge”, you furrowed your eyebrows before giving her the most sympathetic look you could make.

“I did not mean to say that I am SO sorry. I mean I didn’t even mean to think that it just kinda came outta nowhere, I’ve never said anything like that out loud ever. Or not out loud. I’ve never even thought something like that, honest! I seriously don’t have any idea where this came from I mean I would never ever guess your race- it’s none of my business! And it’s not like race has anything to do with the goddarn drink. It’s a drink! Anyone can order it! I have no say in that and I am SOO-“

“IT’S OKAY”, this time, Gwen interrupted your rambling (finally, it seemed like you could go on and on), “you can uhhh make up for it by, I dunno, maybe, givingmeyournumber?”, she was nervous, but you were oblivious unfortunately.

“Oh. OH YEAH I can do that..I’ll just go get your drink. And you cookie”, your ass has never left a place so fast. “SPIDER WOMAN. WANTS. MY NUMBER”, you squealed in your head while preparing her order.

You returned to her in a few minutes, a cup in one hand and a cookie in the other. “For here or do you want me to put it in a bag?”

“Can you put just the cookie in the bag?”, Gwen asked shyly and you nodded packing the cookie in the paper bag. Taking a sharpie that stood on your side of the counter, you wrote on her cup of latte “For Spidey ♡ by Y/N”, scribbling your phone number underneath and handing the bag and the cup to her.

“Thank you for your visit. Enjoy!”, you said what you always say to your customers and she jokingly gave you a two finger salute, turning around and exiting the shop.

The whole day after her visit, you’d check your phone every two seconds waiting for her text. At this point, you were already at home, watching a movie you picked out randomly to distract you from constantly glancing at your phone. Unfortunately, you were a person who constantly keeps their sound off and the movie actually intrigued you to the point you somehow forgot about the happenings of yesterday and today, at least until the movie ended.

And then it hit you.

You smiled at your phone. Who would’ve thought that she would be so awkward while texting.

Unbeknownst to you, an hour ago, Gwen was panicking hard. At first she didn’t know what to say. She spent 10 minutes just writing and then deleting and writing and deleting words. Eventually, she decided to muster up the courage and send whatever first came to mind.

The moment she clicked on the “send” button, she regretted it. Then she sent another message, to try to fix the situation she put herself in. Only to realize she is just digging her grave deeper. Before she knew it, she sent you four messages, then threw her phone as far away as possible without damaging it too much, to stop herself from sending another text in attempt to “fix the previous”. She grabbed her mask and pulled it over her head, hiding her face from no one in particular.

After a few minutes, she heard a ding from across the room and scrambled from her bed quickly, tangling herself in the covers, getting her leg stuck in them and managing to fall face first on the floor.

Groaning, she reached for her phone from the very position she fell into, expecting to see a text back from you.

“Iphone storage full” was the only notification she received. Gwen placed the phone to where it was, continuing to lay on her bedroom floor with her Spider mask on.

“This is going to be a long night”

i got a whole bunch of headcanons but i'll cut these things down to three.

starting off with the count of counts, man of men. count blumiere bleck.

he and dim actually knew each other in the past , having been somewhat of acquaintances. the reason he didnt want dimentio joining at the time was because he didnt want to get a friend involved on these antics and potentially hurt this plan. however, afterwards he would eventually allow him on board because of careful consideration as well as "well honestly, tbh, i dont think he'd get THAT hurt."

next up, he was the absolute worst at trying to accommodate things for the minions to get them comfortable. he didnt know what half the things they requested were and eventually passed the requests job to nastasia who took care of it with ease.

he plays favorites. as much as count bleck doesn't say "i dont have favorites" he definitely does and it's mimi.

speaking of mimi, boom, mimi headcanons.

mimi is a robot, very much so of a robot. shes very much based off a wind up toy and ends up having a lot of spare energy with the wind up. that thing has been spinning for ages.

she and Mr. L have the like second closest relationship in the castle. Mr. L upgrades her and mimi just shittalks all the time while also slipping a few of the shinest screws in her pockets. if she ever gets damaged she ends up going to L to fix the damages

she is the fastest of all the members when on foot. she is VERY fast and even FASTER in her true form. you do not want a 10ft spider robot chasing after you at 30mph. although, when chasing the heroes in merlees mansion, her ass crashed into literally everything while chasing because she doesn't know exactly how to come to a smooth stop when in a packed house.

now for o'chunky boy, one of my silly favs

hes the kindest out of all of them but that is really SAYING something when your competition is the rest of team bleck. he's willing to protect the team and even those that are literally just innocent bystanders to everything. if you aren't the heroes, hes not gonna be doing anything to hurt you, trust.

everyone usually calls him to swat dimentio out of the air since he has the furtherest reach. he always succeeds too. the rivalry between them only persists.

hes usually the dedicated "bring everyone here to this exact room" person because hes always first to arrive and always the first to hear the announcement. so he has to drag everyone else out of their rooms in order for them to listen.

nastasia? nastasia.

nastasia is the person you can always find, no matter where you are. for some reason, you can just find her there conveniently when you need her. how does she do this? shut up, you don't need to know.

amongst the stealthiest of characters, nastasia has to be the first in stealth. her footsteps are completely silent somehow and you can never hear her breathing. this makes it easy for her to sneak up on literally anyone, no matter who they are. she even gives our dear count a scare from time to time.

considering that she is the most responsible they usually call nastasia for the littlest of things. like bugs or broken doors or dimentio being a little shithead. in return, she calls the correct person for the job as her skill range is very limited.

ik yall were waiting for dimentio so here you go

he wanders. like he wanders a lot. you dont see him in the castle that often because hes in the wilderness just nature walking (flying?) and when he is in the castle, hes just wandering the halls, waiting for the next moment to be a bitch.

he teases everyone in the castle, especially count. it never dawned on him until later that the count was blumiere so he took this chance to bully him for literally no reason at all other than spite.

out of all of the members, his worst relationship is with nastasia. they somehow know more about each other than they'd like to. he doesnt talk to her much and when he does, its out of obligation or because he was spoken to first.

here, a few additional mr. l headcanons

for some reason, he always has chocolate on him. (this carries over to luigi too) he just has an infinite supply of chocolate and no one knows where he gets them and everyone is convinced hes more of a magician than dimentio.

he ends up being more active with the group rather than closed off. when he is closing himself off from the group, his door is always open. its an invitation for anyone to come in a chat, even if he says "an open door is not an invitation." it is an invitation, hes lonely.

he and dimentio tend to have small skill show offs. dim shows off his EPIC magic and Mr. L beats the shit out of him with his robots. dimentio still somehow always wins.

The older of the two, Amelia was the first to said 'Waking you up of course! Come on mom get up!' Aidan giggle jumping off the bed bringing your other daughter who's two years old at the moment, Sophia

He hop her off at you and you laugh 'It was eight, leave us alone!' You mentioned putting the baby girl right next to her father who was sleeping like a log. Jude move slightly and bring his hand to caught his younger daughter in his arm, he was still sleeping but smiling. You can't helped but smile at the scene and pet the two's head

She huff turning her back away from the younger and get her dad's hand 'Let's go dad!' Aidan get the other hand and fight 'No! Let's go do something else!' They started their cat and dog fight while you watch along with Sophia in amusement

'Those two..' You beamed, Jude hold your temple and bring your head over his shoulder, you flinch but soon enough, relaxed into the touch, he clasp your hand in his and kissed the back of your palm 'I love you, thanks for this beautiful gift Y/n.' You smiled 'You're welcome...?'

You winced in pain when Sophia yanked your hair down 'Ouch Sophia, that hurts!' She laugh, 'You wanted their attention so bad Sophia?' SPLATOON 3 DLC DIRECT SPOILERS AS WELL AS A FULL ANALYSIS OF MY THOUGHTS AND PREDICTION FOR THE STORY AHEAD/// READ WITH CAUTION AND SCROLL FAST IM NOT PUTTING THIS UNDER A CUT

OK SO AAAUGHRHFHHWHDH SPLATOON ORDER DLC ANALYSIS HERE WR GO MY THOUGHTS IM SO HYPED AND SHAKING AND HAVE A VERY BIG PREDICTION

First and foremost I wanna point out that the area the octoling was in looks a LOT like the square, all the buildings and the shape of the area. But unlike the square there’s a very weird building? The door kinda looks like the door in that one picture shown but I doubt it’s the same thing. The picture of pearl looks like it could be for an opening cutscene, which if so means the whole square being white might not be just for show/some weird dream sequence. I think this is actually what the square looks like right now.

The MOST important thing I want to point out is this weird stuff we’ve been seeing everywhere. The white coral the weird plants and ooze and vines and tentacles. It’s all kinda fungal like, and it seems that wherever we are square or not it’s SPREADING, like a LOT. And whatever it is seems very alive if so.

It’s all also coral looking but still very fungus like with the way it looks like it’s spreading, almost like some kinda of parasite. Going with the coral theme the brain shown is reminiscent of both an actual brain and brain coral. There’s no way a brain would’ve been shown among all this if it wasn’t an ACTUAL brain for this weird new parasite like thing literally taking over everywhere.

I’m very convinced the main story will center around clearing this, kinda like the fuzzy ooze. Both like a parasite they spread, pulse like they’re alive, and possibly both take control of things. Unlike the fuzzy ooze though this fungal stuff spreads FAST if it’s already taken over the square entirely, and we also don’t know who’s made it.

Speaking of paralleling the splat3 storymode, we also have this as a glimpse into the past, only unlike alterna, far FAR into the past. My friend @solsticesailor (you can follow them here, Instagram, and Twitter so pls do) who, who used to study dinosaurs a lot and was there for my live stream reaction, pointed out it seems like the bone structure of an aquatic dinosaur. If true that fits with splatoon, but makes me curious why it of all things was shown. Judd was shown in the first hero mode trailer because he was a mammal, which correlated with the story. Maybe dinosaurs tie in somehow?

Along with paralleling past storymodes this one seems very octo expansion like. A lot of the images do tbh. Wires, abandoned buildings with floating structures (Octarian tech), it’s all very Tartar ish.

I’ve seen some people already jump the gun and say something bad happened to marina but this could easily be maybe a cutscene where she’s just pointing out danger I heavily doubt anything actually bad happened to her tbh, though the glitch in the image has me concerned it’s shown in other pause screens too. Also along with that octoling we keep seeing, there’s someone else standing there.

It’s possible that “someone else” is one of the many other octolings we keep seeing, but that leads me to my next point

I think we’re gonna have two protagonists. This octolings photo was pretty much as clearly shown as Pearl’s and Marina’s in terms of quality, making them suspect to being important. The other octoling also shown in clear pictures looks a LOT like eight, so I think we might be having two protagonists. Agent 8, and someone new who’s also an octoling. Maybe who we saw at the start isn’t eight, as they share more resemblance with the one on the left. Black tentacles instead of eight’s signature red.

with the little info we have so far my storymode predictions are that something is SPREADING. Maybe made by Tartar back in octo expansion, but it’s something alive and dangerous spreading, and it’s up to agent 8 and pearlina to stop it. It kinda seems like we break into a facility of some sort? Could be where it’s being created? They showed clips of the rocket area in the first storymode trailer, it’s not far fetched we’d be seeing the end game point of the lab it was all created at too.
