- Astrological observations part 18

- you might not agree with me but air signs are really good texters because they love to communicate in any form. (Most of my friends that have air placements they text a lot)

- Pisces and Sagittarius are the same thing but in different fonts. (Both are spiritual, look for positivity, prone to addiction, low key hippies and both pretty delusional if something bad happens to them)

- I have often seen that Pisces are the ones who are the different in a friend group,unlike Aquarius who is known to be the "different one" (Im not saying necessarily standing out but maybe be a little bit outcast)

- Gemini will get along with everyone naturally and make friends without even trying (I know it’s over said observation but it’s true)

- Water signs are the driest texters or the slowest (I have noticed by myself and other water signs that we tend to forget text back or not caring to text back)

- If you see a Scorpio talking and sharing a lot consider that they might have libra mercury (my male best friend is Scorpio sun with libra mercury and everyone knows his drama)

- DONT YOU EVER debate/argue with air & earth mercuries EVER! (Earth signs: are calm and collective so when it’s needed can smash you with their words. Air signs: are smart and fast to find something to say and because always have knowledge on their heads they will hit u with facts that you can’t even try to prove they are false)

- libra women are adorable no matter what. (For real all the libra women I have seen they look so sweet and approachable)

- as a Pisces myself I will advice you to never believe the innocent “I’m confused” persona of a Pisces (they are the best to get what they want and learn all the shit but also make you feel so special and loved only to destroy you mentally)

- I have noticed from myself that I tend to laugh or find funny people who have the same mercury as me (it’s might not be the same for for the rest of you but that’s my personal observation even tho I found funny some people who don’t have the same mercury as me)

“You see—uh, you see this small, sort of stalky looking goblin, uhh, alchemist warlock kid who’s sporting a pair of electric green tinted goggles propped over his forehead.

He’s got this curly grown-out braided mohawk that hangs in front of his eyes and ends in a little mullet—dressed kind of like, mangy Y2K, you know, little t-shirt that reads sweet heart in old curvy hippie font, insanely low-cut faded jeans, his midriff just like full [CHUCKLES]—fully on display. There’s a belt of tools and vials with shimmering, neon swirling liquid strapped really low around his hips and you see it’s kind of like [LAUGHS], studded.

Big round potions hang off one side and you notice on the other there’s a little holster for a pocket-sized, what looks like a grimoire, and even just peeking you can see it’s pink and absolutely bedazzled with rhinestones. Like it says Book of Shadows in silvery white puffy glitter glue.

You see [LAUGHS]—he’s got the like, one fang poking out from under the lip, and his eyes look almost—one is honey yellow and the other is pale cyan, and his pupils almost look like they’re permanently slitted paper-thin. As you approach his ears kind of twitch sensing your presence and you see they end in these small, dark green tufts, sort of like a bobcat’s. He looks up from his crystal and his like, manicured jet-black claws just keep skittering across the screen. He’s got a lollipop stick in his mouth but it’s like, budging like there’s no more lollipop and he’s just been chewing on it for wayyy too long.”

Slip of tongue

Summary :: Daniel said something ambiguous to his gym friend, Max, during a bench press session.

'No pain, no gain'

Daniel read the writing on the gym wall in front of him over and over again. It was written in big white boxy fonts, loud and cringy. The same level of cringe as Love Live Laugh decorations in every hippie's house.

But maybe it was true. Daniel needed to do painful stuff, such as wake up early and go to the gym, to keep his gains. His toned body and well-shaped glutes didn't come from sitting around all day. It was months and months of working out in the gym. No gym, no muscles. No muscles, no good looks. No pain, no gain.

The only thing that made this pain bearable was his gym bro, Max. A young hunk with thighs strong enough to break a watermelon and wide muscular shoulders. The only one of many reasons for Daniel to keep working out in the morning instead of in the evening, like how he used to. Max's presence and weird sense of humor turned running and lifting into fun activities.

But not that morning—that freaking morning. The gym was almost empty when Daniel walked in. He could only hear some gym equipment's noise from the lifting area and the humming of the treadmills.

No Max in sight. So Daniel sighed as he stepped onto the treadmill.

Usually, they would start their routine together. Warming up, stretching, and then spotting each other.

Not today, Daniel said inside his disappointed head.

Without Max, everything felt boring. No one distracted him from his timer with jokes. And Daniel started to miss the sound of Max's cute laugh.

It hasn't been 24 hours since you met him, he said to himself.

There were still a few minutes left of his warm-up. Daniel increased the volume of the music in his headphones as he tried to stop thinking about Max. After that, he did some stretching before heading to the lifting area.

Daniel was surprised when he saw Max already there.

Max had already been lying on a bench, doing his warm-up press. His muscular arms bulged from lifting the weight.

Daniel took off his headphones and approached Max. "Good morning, Maxy Max. You started early." Daniel couldn't help but notice how Max's gray t-shirt was already soaked with sweat. The thin cloth stuck to the skin of Max's torso, allowing Daniel to see the curves of Max's upper body. Wide shoulders and trim waist. Max's black gym shorts also caught his attention. It was too short, showing almost all of Max's muscular thighs.

"Morning, Daniel. Of course, I started as usual. You're the only one who came late," Max said with a huge smile on his face. "I thought you weren't coming, so I started without you."

"I overslept, didn't hear my alarm."

Max put his weight on the pegs. Then he added more plates from the rack to his weights.

"Pushing your limit today, huh?"

"Yes." Max laid back down and tried to lift the weight. His arms shook slightly with his new weight.

Meanwhile, Daniel took his usual spot as Max's spotter.

"Isn't it too heavy for you?" Daniel couldn't help but worry for Max's safety. He would help Max if his arms gave up, but with that much weight, Daniel was doubtful he could do it fast enough.

"It's okay. I can do it," Max said through his gritted teeth. He lifted the weight until it was close to his usual reps.

Daniel's brain was starting to wander. And it landed on Max's arms and long fingers. Pink and wrapped around the rod.

Max's arms shook again.

"You can unload on me," Daniel said without thinking. His wandering brain wasn't fully online yet.

What?!!! Daniel just realized what he had said. The ambiguous ass sentence. What if he made Max uncomfortable? He would lose his gym friend. Goodbye, morning exercise with Max.

Daniel's apology was on the tip of his tongue when he heard the sound that came out of Max's throat. Daniel was one hundred percent sure it was a moan. A loud and deep one. Daniel looked at Max, who was still lying in front of him. 

Max's eyes were closed. Flushed skin, tousled hair, and sweaty. He looked like one of the guest stars from Daniel's wet dream.

"What?!" Daniel said.

Max stopped his lifting motion, still holding his weight high above him. He opened his blue eyes and looked directly at Daniel. His expression was blank as if he didn't just moan at his gym bro's slip of tongue. "What?"
