okay okay this is gonna be a long one so strap in

paige would always be flirty af with manager, like a little more than everyone else

like since the very beginning, freshman paige was down bad for manager

i feel like manager would kind of just brush it off as paige being friendly cus in all honesty... she's kinda like that w everyone on the team???

so she just brushes it off and paige is confused on why she isn't getting it...

so paige being paige, she just assumes manager is straight and doesn't fw her like that

so she just settles with being manager's friend and eventually, best friend

there's always a lot of banter between you guys, like yall are always teasing each other and being all handsy with one another

i feel like the team would kinda suspect there's something going on with you two but they never say anything cus like i said, paige is kinda like that with everyone

however, paige doesn't ever hide her blatant attraction to u

she'll fr tell you straight up she thinks you're the sexiest girl in the world and has NOOO shame ab it either

so for a while, it's kinda like best friends... and maybe a little more??

the whole dynamic changes when she finds out you like women

she's like "the FUCK"

this happens toward the beginning of junior year (2022-23) and paige begins to kinda distance herself from you because her mind is just FUCKED

like she's so confused and rethinking everything

obviously, you notice and try to talk to her ab it and paige just brushes it off

MULTIPLE. TIMES.

and she confides in azzi and she's like "whats wrong w you... like GENUINELY"

your sadness just dissipated into anger and ur like "if paige wants to play this game i will to"

so you guys just get petty and ignore each other, much to everyone dismay

because if yall are beefing, the entire team is in shambles😭

but when paige gets injured, all that pettiness just gets thrown out the window

you were there for her the ENTIRE time, from the second it happened til she started playing again

when it happened, obviously paige was just very distraught and not like herself

she would just not talk to anyone and spend all her time going to classes then back at her dorm

at first, she just will ignore your presence

unfortunately p is just petty like that

but then she realizes she's literally being fucking stupid and she lets you hang out with her

slowly but surely everything is semi back to normal

UNTIL you bring up why she got distant all of a sudden

she just decided to rip the bandaid off and tell you the truth (which at this point, was just as confusing to her as it was to you)

she ended up telling you she was just confused about her feelings about you and she eventually tells you she had a mini-crush on you in freshman year

and the only reason why she never told you was because she thought you didn't like girls

and you were just confused like WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT

you guys just kind of have to sit with your feelings for a bit

(maybe a fic for that entire scene if yall want ??)

RELATIONSHIP

you and paige agreed to keep it to yourself because of two reasons

A. it would kinda throw off the dynamic of the entire team and B. wanting to explore the relationship first

it was really REALLY fun for paige, like she was having the time of her life teasing you while no one really knows why (hope that makes sense)

she thinks its funny when she like openly flirts/is handsy with u and the team doesn't bat an eye because she's always done it, EXCEPT now she gets you all flustered

yes she does get an ego boost

however, her jealousy increased like 10x (and thats saying A LOT)

like she'll get annoyed at someone just for looking at manager a little suggestively, she gives them a dirty look and manager is just like "paige pls"

i feel like this would be the ultimate thing for paige, like she hates being with you and not being able to show you off

LOTS of arguments about that specifically

In which you got your period at your boyfriend's house but he takes care of you and makes you feel better.

You went over to your boyfriend's house wearing your pajamas. It was a cute set that Charles had gotten you a few months back. For what reason? He simply wanted to please you and get you something you wanted for a while now.

Three knocks were heard on the outside of your boyfriend's front door, and shortly after that he answered and opened it.

"Hey mon amour, how are you feeling?" Charles asked, knowing you've been having some pre-period cramps. (my love)

"Hi! I could be better. How about you, Charles?" You asked as he let you inside. He looked at you as you walked in, admiring how cute you looked in the set he got you.

"I'm doing really well now that you're here." He said, honest. You cracked a smile at that sentence and blushed. God, you still had the biggest crush on him after months and months of dating. You couldn't help it though, it was indeed Charles Leclerc.

"You're so adorable." You said as you set your tote bag on the kitchen counter and watched as your boyfriend came behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist, hugging you from behind. You got butterflies, and he knew that. You couldn't lie to him. He always knew everything and you couldn't help it.

"Je t'aime." Charles said, kissing your cheek. "Come on, let's go watch a movie. I got ourselves snacks. They're all set up in the bedroom." (I love you)

You followed him and saw multiple kinds of snacks scattered around the desk besides his bed. Charles got every snacks you liked, and even a cute blanket that he had previously washed after buying it at the store. It smelled amazing.

"Charles, do you know how much I appreciate you?"

"What? Of course I do." Charles said while giggling, probably not taking you very seriously.

"Stop laughing, I'm being serious!" You said, as you threw yourself onto him as the both of you fell on the bed. You grabbed his face and covered him with kisses as he grabbed your waist with both of his hands so that you wouldn't fall off. As you pulled away from his face, you grabbed a strand of his hair and put it back into place. You grinned and watched him as he looked deep into your eyes.

"Come on, choose your movie crazy lady." Your boyfriend said, handing you the TV remote.

"Ha-ha. Very funny." You replied sarcastically, taking it from him and went on Netflix.

After looking for a while, you ended up watching the first Spider-Man movie together. You laid on top of him as he played with your hair and whispered sweet words in your ear. You were about to fall asleep until you felt something odd.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom, I'll be back." You said, quickly getting up and going into the bathroom. You closed the door behind you and immediately sat on the toilet, pulling your pants and panties down. Shit. You got your period. Not knowing what to do at first, you looked around but there was nothing that could help you. You sighed and decided to do what was best.

"Charles!" You yelled in disbelief. Footsteps became louder and louder, indicating that your boyfriend was getting closer.

"What's going on?" He asked, a bit of panic in his voice.

"I- I got on my period." You said, feeling awkward.

"Can I come in?" Charles asked.

"Uh- yeah?"

Charles came in and looked through one of the cabinets in the bathroom. He got a box of pads out and handed one to you. You looked at him confused at first but then you sighed in relief and looked at him.

"Thank you, you saved my life. Why do you have this though?"

"I bought it in case anything like this would ever happen, and it did. To you." Charles smiled as he quickly kissed you and got out of the bathroom, letting you have some privacy.

After doing what you had to do, you got out and joined Charles back in bed. The movie was almost over but you and him didn't mind. You got under the sheets and he wrapped you up in his arms, cuddling with you. You felt your eyes close more and more each second. You were so thankful to have a boyfriend that truly cared about you. And so, you fell asleep as Charles continued to whispers sweet words in your ear.

Prompt where r is a sub in Abbott who's head over heels for Melissa. She doesn't have the nerve to admit it let alone talk to Mel without being a stuttering and flustered mess. Barb noticed it as well as the other teachers but they leave the sub for the silly crush she's harboring with the redhead thinking it's cute to see such thing like that in the school . Yet Ava, who's like have eyes everywhere teases her about it. Melissa on the other hand is clueless and joined the teasing one day not knowing it was actually about her and the sub, who became absolutely embarrassed at that point and left the break room quickly. All eyes are on Melissa, Barb + crew was like questioning her if she means the teasing or she was just blind and clueless.

So this fic got way out of hand, I thought it was gonna be a cute 2k word one then I look when I’m finished and there’s 4.5k words. Whoops. I really thought this prompt was funny and cute and hope I did it justice. I’m sorry it sat for like 2 weeks while I did all the other fics but I finally got to it. Not edited in the slightest and I hope you like it!

Clueless Teasing

Warnings: Smut, I think one swear word and a shit ton of fluff

Words: 4.5k

You walk in through the doors of Abbott Elementary. It’s your first day as a substitute teacher at this school and you were beyond excited. They told you they’ll need you until the end of the school year which is in 6 months and they told you you’re filling in for Janine Teagues.

You walk into the office to get your temporary badge and classroom key. As you walk out you run into someone causing you to drop both things and the other person dropping a folder. You immediately bend down to pick up your things and the folder for the other person and stand back.

“Sorry, I wasn’t looking where I was going-” whatever you were going to say next was cut off when you looked at the person and got distracted by her. Luckily for you, where you finished seemed like the end of your sentence and the woman smiled as she grabbed the folder from you.

“It’s alright hon, happens to the best of us.” She says and looks at your badge. “New teacher?” She asks.

“No no, um new sub. Filing in for a teacher called Janine Teagues.” You tell her and smiles.

“Did you happen to be shown where her classroom is?” She asks and you mentally facepalm.

“Um no, I- I didn’t.” You tell her.

“That’s alright, if you want I just have to drop this off and I can show you. The classroom is across from mine. I teach second grade as well.” She tells you and you smile.

“I would love that, thank you so much…” you say and try to read her badge but got distracted by her chest.

“Schemmenti.” She says and you look back up. “Melissa Schemmenti.” She tells you and you blink, of course she has a beautiful name, fits her beautiful face.

“That’s a lovely name.” You tell her and she sticks her hand out to shake. “I’m-I’m…” you start to introduce herself but short circuited when you shook her hand, it feels so soft.

“You’re…?” She asks and pulls her hand back.

“Oh right my name is Y/n Y/l/n.” You tell her and she smiles.

“That’s a lovely name too. I’ll just go drop these off and then I’ll show you the classroom. I’ll be right back.” She tells you and you nod. She goes into the office and 10 seconds later someone comes up to you.

“Hi, are you a new teacher?” He asks you.

“New sub.” You tell him.

“Oh amazing! I’m Jacob Hill.” He says and brings out a hand for you to shake.

“Y/n y/l/n.” You tell him. “I’m subbing for Janine Teagues.”

“Oh cool, I was good friends with her. She’s a temp at the district right now.” He tells you and you nod. Just then Melissa comes out and sees Jacob there.

“Jacob, are you trying to scare the newbie away? I thought that was more Janine’s thing.” She tells him.

“Well someone has to fill in for her.” He jokes back and she snorts.

“Come on kid, I’ll show you to her classroom.” She tells you and you wave goodbye to Jacob.

You walk down the hall with her and can’t help but feel mesmerised by her.

“So how long are you subbing for?” She asks you and you shake yourself out of your trance.

“Um um 6 months.” You tell her, cringing as you forgot how to speak for a second.

“Are you ok? You seem nervous.” She asks you.

“Ya I’m fine, a little nervous. New place and people.” You tell her and she nods.

“Understandable.” She says and then she stops. “So this is the classroom.” She says and nods her head to the side to the room. She then turns slightly and points to a class down the hall. “And that’s where mine is. Have any questions just feel free to ask. And another teacher, Gregory Eddie, his classroom is just right here.” Melissa points to the classroom just right next to yours. “Him and Janine are close so he can answer questions too.” She tells you and you nod.

“Thank you so much Ms Schemmenti.” You tell her and she waves you off.

“Oh please, call me Melissa. I normally don’t let newbies call me by my first name but you seem ok.” She tells you and you blush.

The morning goes by quickly and before you know it, it’s lunch time. You get the kids lined up and you begin to walk out and to the cafeteria when you have no idea where it is. You were about to ask the kids when Melissa walks by with her class and sees you don’t know where to go.

“Hey newbie, just follow me.” She tells you with a wink and you blush again.

“Thanks Melissa.” You tell her and you follow her to the cafeteria. You both drop off your classes and then she goes to walk out.

“Did you bring a lunch today newbie?” She asks you and you nod.

“It’s in the classroom.” You tell her and she nods.

“How about you bring it to the break room and come meet some more teachers?” She says and you nod.

“Ok, although I have no idea where it is.” You tell her and she giggles.

“I’ll bring you there, let’s go get your lunch.” She tells you and starts walking to your classroom and you sprint after her. For someone wearing heels, she’s sure fast.

She brings you to the break room and you see Jacob there with Gregory. You met both of them briefly today. You see a few other teachers chatting in a corner. You see another teacher at a table that Melissa goes to sit with.

You go to sit at an empty table but then Melissa stops you. “Newbie, come sit with us.” She tells you and you blush then sit down in the empty chair at her table. “This is Barb, she teaches Kindergarten.” She introduces her friend to you.

“Hi Barb, nice to meet you. I’m y/n y/l/n. I’m subbing for Janine Teagues.” You tell her and she smiles.

“Nice to meet you dear. I see Melissa has taken an interest in you.” She tells you and you blush.

“Oh I’m just lost so she’s been nice to me and showing me around.” You tell her.

“Ya like I said, she’s taken an interest in you, she doesn’t do that for anyone.” Barb tells her and Melissa rolls her eyes.

“You’re making me seem like a bad person.” Melissa complains and Barb chuckles.

“Not bad, just antisocial.” Barb responds.

“Well whatever it is, I just really appreciate your help. And if there’s any way to thank you then let me know.” You tell her and she smiles at you. That smile will be the death of you, you just know it.

Over the next month, you’ve been fitting in well and getting to know around the school, and the students seem to like you. You have Melissa to thank for the support and guidance. Your crush for Melissa has just grown more and more as she does seem to take a liking to you. You think that your crush has grown more into love though and you’re not sure how to act around her most of the time, or what to say. Most of the time when you talk to her, all that comes out is something that makes you seem like you have a loose circuit or wire, and you sometimes don’t understand what you say.

One day was really bad though as Melissa accidentally got pushed in a busy hallway and got pushed into you against a wall. You looked at each other and your lips were centimetres away from each other, if she didn’t pull away then you might have kissed her right then and there.

“Sorry kid, busy hallway.” She said as she pulled back. “Kids don’t watch where they’re going most of the time.” She told you.

“Oh.” You squeaked out and you clear your throat. “Oh, it’s alright, um ya. It’s alright.” You tell her and she looks at you confused and you want to bolt out of there but you can’t with all the kids in the way so you just start walking.

All the other teachers seemed to notice how you act around Melissa and they know it’s a crush. They don’t say anything though, since it’s none of their business and having fun watching you try to keep it together. The only one who doesn’t know is Melissa, and you want to keep it that way. But of course Ava happened.

Ava has been watching you on her cameras for awhile now ever since the incident in the hallway that happened during your second week here. She’s having fun watching you try to be a human being around Melissa and failing. After 6 weeks of watching this, she decides to do something about it,

So one day you were all in the break room while Janine was visiting everyone again, she seems to pop in once a week, she’s met you and seems to like you as well. Anyway, Ava comes waltzing in like she always does and looks at you with mischief in her eyes.

“So y/n.” She starts and you look at her confused as she walks to the coffee machine. “I know who you have a crush on.” She teases you and your cheeks go red. Melissa looks at Ava then at you.

“Do you have a crush on a girl y/n?” She asks you and you don’t answer, you just take a sip of your coffee.

“Oh she sure does. And she seems to not know how to act around her. Stuttering and becoming flustered, trying to be a human being and failing, miserably.” Ava continues on and you wish the ground would swallow you whole. And worst of all it seems Melissa is finding this amusing, as she begins laughing at what Ava is saying.

“Oh, I would like to see you around this girl, see you apparently fail at being a human being.” Melissa teases you. Your cheeks go red and you get so embarrassed that you sprint out of the break room and to your classroom.

Once you get to your classroom you close and lock the door and then just sit in your chair and sulk.

Back in the break room everyone looks at Melissa. “What?” Melissa says as she notices everyone staring at her.

“Why were you teasing her about her crush?” Jacob asks her.

“Because it sounded funny.” Melissa says like it’s obvious.

“Do you even know who her crush is?” Barb asks and Melissa shakes her head.

“No, she hasn’t told me, why? Has she told you guys?”

“She doesn’t need to tell us when it’s obvious.” Janine says and Melissa looks at everyone and she’s lost in what everyone else seems to know.

“Girl, how blind are you? You seem completely clueless to what’s really obvious.” Ava states and Melissa frowns.

“Ya like even though I’m not always good at reading people, it’s obvious to me as well.” Gregory says and Melissa looks at all of them confused.

“So it’s a teacher then?” She starts and they all nod.

“And someone you know extremely well too.” Barb says and Melissa is taken aback by this.

“But everyone I know well is in this room, and y/n is only interested in women.” Melissa says and everyone looks at her to see if she’ll figure it out. Melissa still looks completely lost, like something isn’t clicking like it has for everyone else.

“This is getting hard to watch.” Ava says and she almost blurts it out right there.

“Melissa dear, you know y/n, she’s told you what type of women she’s interested in. I know she has because I was there when she has.” Barb says and Melissa thinks about it.

“Well ya, she says she likes older redhe-” and that realisation stops her dead in her tracks. “I’m an older redhead.” She says and everyone smirks. “And I’m in this room.” She says and puts it all together and thinks about all your interactions. “OH FUCK.” She says and runs out of the room to go searching for you.

“Honestly if she didn’t figure it out right there then I would have just told her.” Ava says and everyone glares at her. “What? I didn’t though.” She says and Barb shakes her head at her.

Melissa walks down the hallway and decides to look at your classroom first and sees the closed door. She goes to open it and sees that it’s locked so she knocks on it.

“Y/n? It’s Melissa, are you in there hon?” She asks and doesn’t hear anything. She asks again but is still met with silence so she assumes you’re not in there and goes to check other places.

In your classroom you heard her both times but chose to stay quiet, you just want to be left alone right now.

Melissa is getting worried, she’s checked everywhere you could be but can’t find you, she texts you again but no reply.

Melissa: Hey hon, I wanted to talk to you about something, where are you?

Melissa: I wanted to apologise for what happened in the break room.

Melissa: I’m trying to find you but don’t know where you are?

Melissa: Hon, I’m getting worried, can you reply back to me please?

Melissa: Can you at least tell me that you’re ok?

Melissa decides to just go to her classroom and talk to you at the end of the day. When the bell rings she sees your door wide open and you welcoming back your students from lunch. She sighs as she thinks about what everyone told her at lunch and looks at you longingly. Barb and Gregory see her look at you and they shake their heads.

Melissa’s heart breaks a little, you have a crush on her and she never notices any of the signs, and she teased you about it to the point that you got embarrassed and left. She’s thought about her feelings for you many times, she remembers you telling her your type but she didn’t have any feelings for you at that point and didn’t think much about it. How long have you had feelings for her? Cause she hasn’t seen you act very differently from the first time you’ve met. And that’s when it clicks, you’ve been interested in her since the start and she mentally facepalms.

At the end of the day, Melissa says goodbye to all her students as they’re getting picked up or walking to their school bus. When her last student leaves she sees you locking your door to leave. So she runs in to grab her things, locks her door and bolts to you. She makes it to the parking lot and sees you pulling out and she sighs.

The next day, you come in and when you get to your classroom you see it’s already open and Melissa is spinning a little in your chair.

“Hey hon.” She says casually and you freeze.

“Um h-hi Melissa.” You say and she smiles. She motions for you to come closer and you close your door and walk to your desk as she stands up. You sit down at the chair and Melissa is sitting on your desk. Feet dangling on both sides of you when you sit in the chair.

“I wanted to apologise for what happened in the break room yesterday. Ava and I shouldn’t have teased you.” She starts and you sigh. You didn’t really want to be talking about this, you just wanted to forget about it, finish out your 4 months and then hope to get placed somewhere else.

“It’s fine, don’t worry about it. Just forget it happened.” You tell her and she tilts her head at you. You get up to go and get something at the other end of your classroom but Melissa straightens her legs out and puts them up, effectively trapping you. “Uh, Melissa, do you mind? I need to go get something.” You tell her but she doesn’t move.

“When were you going to tell me you have a crush on me?” She asks and your face pales.

“What?” You ask, very nervous now.

“When were you going to tell me you have a crush on me?” She repeats and you don’t say anything. “Were you ever going to tell me?” She asks and you shake your head. “So you were just going to finish up your 4 months and what? Just leave?” She asks and her voice breaks a bit at the end. You nod your head in response to her question and she sighs. “Why weren’t you going to tell me?”

Topic of the night: Max Verstappen’s dominance in formula one

Max hate got so bad across platforms, had to specify that I indeed support his dominance in this sport. And will not be participating in the; “praying on his downfall” day.

No but in all seriousness. I get WHY people say “it’s getting boring” and to some extent I do agree, being able to anticipate who’s gonna win takes away some fun. However, it only adds to the enjoyment of NOT knowing another outcome. When Max dominates, majority of you guys don’t think of other possibilities. “What if Charles gets the lead?” “What if this is Landos first win” Max’s dominance allows us as fans to not only enjoy his progression in the sport, but also the anticipation of not knowing what else can happen.

of course, never would I pray on a drivers downfall. Every driver has their ins and outs. Max has been a personal new grid favourite of mine for a while. As has Lando () however, when he wins I get excited. Not for Redbull, but for him [or checo] individually.

Claiming that the sport is getting boring purely BECAUSE he’s winning is so ridiculous, at least in my opinion it is. I won’t fight you on it, that’s not what these yap seshes are for. I can come to terms with different opinions and thoughts. Hell if you don’t like Max, that’s totally fine. No one can truly bash your ideal driver lineup. But purely placing the blame onto him, as if he has a choice, is funny. He’s given a damn good car, and he’s a damn good driver who can control said car. Of course he’s going to take it home every race. He’s talent, skill, and ability mashed into one. It’s not “the car” it’s him.

here’s what I say; if you give a driver a good and fast car, said driver needs to be able to control it.

Redbull has given Max a very good car, as they should, and he’s been able to control it. THATS what the sport is about, good driver = good car, good car = needs a driver that can control it. It’s not about him reducing his wins because fans think his dominance is wasted or repetitive.

Even if Redbull didn’t give him a worthy car, yall think Max wouldn’t haul its dusty ass to 1st still? He proved way back in his early years that even when the car is absolutely shit, that he’s able to control it well enough in the points.

Rounding back. I can see why the sports getting boring. I too find it a bit boring, but that’s not because of his dominance, but because everything is really happening off-track more than on-track. And unfortunately the times good shit happens, it spirals out of control and things happen [AHEM Daniel AHEM Lance AHEM] also because I’ve watched this sport for so long, sometimes the excitement doesn’t catch up to me in time. I’ve always found Indy more entertaining, but F1 comes a damn close second along with WEC.

Anyways this is my propaganda against Max hate.

"And my mum is calling me, I guess it's time to leave."

"Oh, good luck! I can't wait to see those photos, they are gonna be amazing."

"I hope so."

"They will, you'll see. Good luck, Addie."

"Thank you. I'll need it" she replied before hanging up.

"Mum, move your right hand a bit. Yes, perfect" Adele said before snapping another photo.

"She's a natural" she heard the other photographer say behind her.

"Both of them are" Maria Grazia added.

They had decided to stay and see her and her mum work together for the Dior campaign, which had made Adele feel even more nervous than she already was. This was her first professional photoshoot, and since being for one of the most iconic brands wasn't enough already, she had their creative director and a photographer who had been working for as long as she had been alive, keeping an eye on her.

When she first picked up the camera, her hands were shaking so much that she thought she wouldn't be able to take a single photo. But as her mum started posing, she relaxed and everything flowed.

"Ok, I think we are done" Adele said.

"Wait, no" her mum stopped her. "Let's take a couple more. Maybe standing?"

"Maria Grazia, what do you..."

"Yes, yes" she said, holding Adele from her shoulders and not allowing her to turn around.

"Ok…" Why were they all suddenly acting so weird?

"Now I do think we have them all" Elizabeth smiled after just a couple of shots. "Should we check them on the computer?"

"Sur... Mason?" Adele said when she was finally allowed to turn around. "What... How..."

"Hello, Addie. Elizabeth" he said with that smile of his that had broken so many hearts.

"What are you doing here?" Adele finally managed to say. "Weren't you in Italy?"

"I was, yes. But we wrapped up early, my mum told me that you were shooting your mum for Dior, and I said to myself, why don't I pay them a visit? I know this is huge and I wanted to be here for you. To support you."

"Thank you, Mase" she smiled, feeling her cheeks get warm.

"Mason, since we have you here, would you mind taking a photo of Adele and I together? You are the only one who manages to convince her to pose in front of a camera and I want to remember today."

"Of course. What do you say, Addie?"

"I'm not looking presentable, I..."

"Nonsense, you look beautiful. Give me that and join your mum" he said while taking the camera from her hands.

"C'mon, do as he says" Elizabeth insisted.

"Ok, fine" Adele replied, rolling her eyes and doing as she was being asked. Or ordered to.

"Why?" Mason laughed.

"The trap you and our mums set up?"

"Oh, that. We just wanted to surprise you on a big day."

"Yeah, sure" Adele snorted.

"Will a macaroon make you forgive me?" Mason pouted, offering her the little box. After the shoot was done, they had decided to go for a walk around the city to catch up and stop at their favourite bakery.

"It may help" she said. "So, how was Italy?"

"Definitely not as fun as Paris. Every time I saw you on Instagram I wished I was here with you. It looks like you've made some new friends."

"I've met so many people, Mase... So many" she chuckled. "But I don't consider them my friends, just acquaintances."

"Nico too?" Mason asked as he looked down, suddenly too interested on the floor.

"Nico too."

"You won't be seeing him again, then?"

"Nah."

"Good."

"Good?" Adele chuckled.

"I mean, you've probably seen everything that is going on online. Team Mason vs. Team Nico and all that. You are struggling enough with everything going on with us, you don't need to add more to it."

"Yeah, you are right" she sighed.

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Eating another macaroon?"

"Haven't you had enough?" Mason laughed, hiding the box behind him.

"No, I have not. I barely ate today, I was too nervous."

"Then let's go find something else to eat. This is too much sugar."

"Oh, c'mon, Mase. Just another one" Adele pouted.

"Nope."

"Just one, please" she said, trying to take the box from his hands.

"I said no" Mason smirked, lifting it in the air so she wouldn't reach it.

"That won't stop me. I'm almost as tall as you are."

"Yeah... Perks of having a mum who is a supermodel and a dad who could have played basketball, right?"

"Exactly" she said, standing on her tiptoes and reaching the box.

"Addie, wait… Addie!" Mason said, the macaroons that were left on the box falling to the floor. "Now what?"

"Now I guess the pigeons will be having a feast, and you'll have to buy me lunch" she shrugged.

"Ok, come here you little rascal" he laughed, putting an arm around her shoulder and starting to walk. "What do you fancy?"

"Pasta."

"Addie, I just came from Italy. Can't we have something else?"

"Ummm... No" she replied with her best smile.

"Ok, then. I can't say no to that face" he said before kissing her cheek, her skin tingling where his lips had been. It was something Adele had never felt before with any other guy, and definitely not with Mason.

Dead Boy Detectives: a no-spoiler review

So I have finished DBDs last night, and frankly, I would have probably finished it in one or two days if not for time limitations. So I wanted to write a review without spoilers and in a Q&A format, so here we go.

tldr: I LOVED IT!

Q: Do I need background knowledge to enjoy it?

A: No, just dive in.

So first of all, a disclaimer: I have not read the Sandman comics, I have read one volume of the DBD comic just after the show was announced, but that did jot even cover the complete case, and I have watched the Sandman on Netflix.

If you are worried that you won't get what is happening, I can assure you, you will. You will get sucked into it immediately and will not want to leave.

Characters from Sandman (it is the same universe) that appear there are a bit like easter eggs: you'll get a kick out of it if you saw Sandman first, but otherwise you just watch them in DBDs and then if you decide to watch Sandman you will get a kick out of seeing these familiar faces there.

Q: What is the general vibe of the show? Is it spooky?

A: The show can be described as a heart-felt mystic detective story. It is funny, sweet and a tiny bit spooky (at a guess, PG13). Overall mood is.. joyful and optimistic.

You know how sometimes you want to watch something exciting, but not too scary?

Dramatic, but optimistic?

Light, but also quite profound and philosophical?

Personally, to me, this show ticks all of the above. And as I watched it with interruptions, at times I felt even lucky to have these because there are just so many big topics this show touches. It was often done by one line of the dialogue, but it would stay with you for the next couple of hours, getting you into this delicious state of philosophical exploration. I feel like at a re-watch this will come forward even more.

Q: I am a GO fan, will this tickle me?

A: Oh yes, it will and despite yourself you will be searching for Clues.

Let me just say that the main characters are another throught-the-ages duo, and you will have a lot of fun comparing and contrasting them with Aziraphale and Crowley, as well as Dream and Hob (these are from the Sandman and are also adorable).

One of the two protagonists wears a bow tie.

Another one is... well, Crowley would love him, I have no doubt in that.

Q: Does it deal well with queer representation? Are there neurodivergent characters?

A: Yes and (I would say) yes

Neil Gaiman was involved, what did you expect? Personally, I think this is one of those instances where the world itself basically treats queer as normal. It is just something that exists, and the world as it is now accepts it. The characters may have inner struggles / self-discovery journeys, but the present world at large accepts them fully and without judgement.

Q: Will it pass the Bechdel test?

A: Yes, with flying colours!!

All the characters are absolutely delicious, and I am not gonna give any more details because I don't want to spoil anything, but you do have all flavours of female protagonists, and you will love them all.

Q: What else did you like?

A: The way it was filmed, the title sequence and music, the humour, the costuming, THE CHEMISTRY between the characters!!

Look, I loved this show, please go and watch it, it is amazing and we need another season of this!

I'm watching Hannibal for the first time and I'm not gonna lie I had my doubts. (Currently on Seaon 2 Episode 11)

(ALSO SPOLIERS BELOW though I think I'm the last person on tumblr who HASN'T seen Hannibal)

My forefathers forgive me, I had doubts. So so many doubts. I wanted to go into this show decimating everyone's reasoning that Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham would work as a couple (romantic or otherwise). I wanted to be fed a story about murder, deception, manipulation, betrayal, and maybe even a little but of cannibalism. And don't get me wrong I have gotten this, but I've also been fed a romantic comedy.

I went into this show not wanting to find reasons to want these two together, I wanted to think "Oh the people of tumblr probably pieced a bunch of subtext together and I probably will as well but it'll hardly be anything that I could write about to my friends who haven't seen the show"

I was so fucking wrong.

Really it should have been the moment where Alana and Hannibal were having a ✨️moment✨️ while Will and Margot were also having a ✨️moment✨️ so the way the whole scene played was very. Well. Not what you would expect from a guy that should have every reason to shoot Hannibal on sight. The fucking framing and cinematography got me to send a 3 minute long vm at 2 am to my friend who really doesn't care about Hannibal.

Or maybe it should have been every single time tweddle dee and tweddle dum are even remotely alone together and decide to start eye fucking each other while also making death threats.

But no what got me was when Alana described what was done to Freddie Lounds' body the second time around as a demonstration of a courtship (best way I can phrase it without just explaining the plot that led us here)

Really, its such a small moment.

But the way the two idiots are standing there looking at each other and Alana shouldn't have been as funny as it was nor should it have instantly reminded me of an early 2000's movie where the couple is secretly dating because they just can't help it and some third party, maybe even one the main couples friends discovers them while trying to NOT make it a Big Deal™ because they are in public except y'know, this is happening over the body that Person A burned to a crisp and sent rolling in a wheelchair while Person B got said body after the funeral and made it into an effigy.

Anyways TLDR: I thought the Hannibal x Will stuff was all very insignificant subtext but actually it was just text and it was screaming. I would also like to thank my film, cinematography, scriptwriting, lighting, and storytelling college classes because as it turns out you did do something for me. You made me realize that whatever is happening between Hannibal and Will is not platonic and I will be consulting AO3 to further expand my understanding of these characters as soon as I finish watching the show.

Also yes I know at some point someone says Hannibal is in love with Will. But now I'm starting to believe that.

A/N: First time writing a drabble on tumblr with all this intro stuff... Hope it works!

You were standing there, awkwardly in a corner at a party with all of your boyfriend's friends while they had the time of their lives. You were supposed to be accompanied by Sunghoon and introduced to his gang tonight but said Ice prince was nowhere to be seen. "_____ Noona, where is Sunghoon hyung? He said he's bringing the samgyeopsal." Riki asked. "I don't know Riki. I tried calling him like 20 times and he hasn't picked up or noticed anything." The dejected pouty skyscraper walked away and decided to attack Jake, as you recalled; the sweet and funny Aussie boy.

The party came to an end as you managed to make yourself acquainted with most of the boys except for Heeseung who seemed to be a bit occupied with his phone. "Need a ride _____ noona? I'm sure Jay hyung can drive you to your place" Jungwon asked. "Sure might as well get home if he's not coming." "Sunghoon hyung is gonna get an earful tonight!!" Riki snickered and you just laughed with him. "Oh he sure is."

You walk into your shared apartment with your "lovely" boyfriend only to see him sorting out the skittles on the floor and his phone on silence on the other side of the room.

"Care to explain why you invited me to a party with your gang and not show up yourself?" An intimidating gaze fell on Sunghoon. "The party is next week darling. Besides, I did all this for you because I know you like grape and strawberry best!" Sunghoon said with his eyes sparkling, looking up at you with nothing but love in his eyes.

"Check your phone Park Sunghoon. And the calendar." "Dang the full government name?" Sunghoon went to get his phone and checked the calendar. Ohh boy was he in trouble. "I-I-I didn't mean for this to happen.... Dang it how could I forget?" Sunghoon paced back and forth, phone in his hand checking all the missed calls, the posts from his gang, the 54849 messages from Riki asking if he was alive or not. Sunghoon turned to you and in a desperate attempt to ease your anger, pulled you in by the waist, "Love I'm so so soooo sorry, how can I make it up to you?" "Sorry isn't going to fix this Hoon. You didn't show up to our dinner reservation, and I was fine with that. The movie? It's ok, totally understandable. The opening of my friend's cafe? Sure, no biggie. But the introduction of me to YOUR gang? How could you forget to show up to the party YOU planned and the friends YOU invited and grew up with? And what about your socially awkward girlfriend who had enough troubles talking to men?" You fumed and poked his chest accusingly.

Sunghoon remembered the time when the two of you met. Jake found out with the help of his friend Lia that you liked Sunghoon as much as he liked you. Your first date was extremely awkward with both of you too flustered to say anything, Sunghoon panicking, looking at his crush and you, having to talk to your crush and facing the fact that you were never able to be comfortable around men. It took you over 7 weeks to form proper sentences with each other let alone have any conversation. This is why you two ended up waiting an entire year before introducing each other to your close friend groups. despite everyone knowing about you.

"Princess I'm sorry, I don't know what else to do right now." Sunghoon pleaded with both his hands gently cradling your head. "Punch me if that'll make you feel better, please." He begged, guiding your hand to his abdomen.

"Why would I punch you? And what difference would that make you gym addict?" You sassed. Not being able to take any more of it, you start giving him the silent treatment. Walking to your room, you pulled a blanket and a pillow and made a makeshift bed on the couch and pushed Sunghoon's favorite plush onto it.

Without a word, you continued to the bathroom to wash up with Sunghoon following you like a lost puppy and getting the bathroom door slammed in his face.

"Princess please I'm sorry!!! Talk to me!!! You're torturing me!!!" Sunghoon wailed as you go on with your nightly schedule. "That's the point, dimwit." you mumble to yourself.

You exit the bathroom and had Sunghoon following you again, towering you from behind like a shadow. "Won't you even look at me?" He asked, pulling you into his arms and holding your jaw trying to meet your averting eyes.

"Please??" He pouted, eyes shimmering with tears ready to spill, red, puffy cheeks and scrunched up bushy eyebrows. "I. MUST. RESIST." you repeat to yourself and avoided all eye contact with your boyfriend.

"Why won't you even look at me? Spending 3 hours without you just sorting skittles was punishment enough." He pouted, getting to your eye level forcing you to look at him. He presses his lips to a thin line and tries to use his eyes to woo you to forgiving him and as much as you hate to admit it, it was working a little too well.

"Princess I'll do anything for you, absolutely ANYTHING!" He begs. And after a moment's consideration, you give in. "Fine. BUT, you owe me this." you point to the 'anything I want' card that you two came up with. "All yours love." Sunghoon handed it to you, gleaming with joy.

Two hours later and your all snuggled up next to him and he plays with your hair, spooning you from the back. "So pretty, all mine." He mumbles in your hair before leaving multiple kisses on your head.

A week later, Sunghoon showed up to work in the most adorable puppy scarf with fluffy ears adorning his head. "About time we saw you miserable after standing up _______ noona." Riki snickered, watching him walk in with his cheeks and ears beet red and his suit adorned with a fluffy bowtie instead of his go-to black sleek tie. "It was worth it." he said, swallowing his pride and dignity as he remembered you with shining eyes, cooing over him all morning, making him late because he looked "adorable". If being humiliated at work got him your full attention and adoration,

I know the reason why Branch never mentioned having brothers before was because the creators only thought them up for the third movie and then they had to find a storyline that would fit into the movie’s canon.

But I’m curious to know what’s your opinion on Branch’s brothers?

I mean, I know how you portray them in your AU, but I curious 👀 about your honest opinion of them based on what we learned from the movie.

I don’t know if anyone has asked this before and apologize if have and I couldn’t find it.

i like brozone! jd has been... soured for me after seeing how the fandom treats him but hes still funny when you dont have a bitch in your ear telling you he did nothing wrong

jd: i think jd was abusive. people get mad at me for saying this, but i dont care; he was in charge of his younger brothers and he worked them to the bone, he forced clay to wear underwear he hated and take photoshoots in them for gods sakes! thats freak behaviour! i think a lot about how he treated them, either directly stated by canon (the underwear thing) or inferred by canon + how theyd be treated irl (on top of the super strict workout routine bruce was probably kept on a super strict diet too, dehydrated to make his abs POP, he was MISERABLE). plus the fact he feels absolutely zero sympathy, he just says he "had a lot of responsibility", implying that his brothers should feel grateful for how he "took care of them" 🤮 ELECTRIC CHAIR! i do like how hes so full of himself though, i like how eric andre says he thinks hes the "alpha male" and thats something i feel like a lot of people are missing wrt his characterisation. hes not some cool, rugged, charming guy out in the forest; hes the guy who says he could TOTALLY survive a zombie apocalypse, guys!

bruce and clay: people have literally no reason to get mad at them for leaving the pod, im sorry. they were teenagers who moved out of the house, best case scenario because they hated their big brother, WORST case bc they were escaping ABUSE! yeah, they could have said bye to branch, yeah, they MIGHT have been able to keep in touch (for clay we dont know how long he was bumming around the tree before the last trollstice happened, i do think it was a few years though), but why are we acting like them MOVING OUT is some big crime? they werent gonna stay in the nest forever! BRANCH can be upset, he missed his brothers! we can sympathise with branch! that doesnt mean we need to DEMONISE them for not lying down and letting jd control their lives! bruce was a bit of a dick to branch though but its okay bc they made up. clay however did NOTHING wrong, put some respect on his name 😤

floyd: idk why both the fandom and the movie act like floyd is the only brother who didnt hurt branch, when hes the one who should have hurt him the MOST! he PROMISED hed come back, likely knowing he wouldnt, while the other three just said "sayonara, dont get your hopes up, see you never". floyd gave branch hope that theyd see each other again, and then fucked off for 20 years, not even TRYING to find branch! obviously floyd is my favourite, but most of that i freely admit is like... conjecture, and headcanon, and in the movie itself we really dont know anything about him other than "is gay" and "got branchs hopes up, only to let them get crushed". hes kinda an asshole! which could be fun, but everyone, including the writers ignore it! i kinda hope in the cartoon theres an episode that addresses how floyd never visited. i mean, even the movie says that jd TRIED to visit but found the empty troll tree and assumed everyone was dead! did the same happen to floyd? or did he just not care? without clarification you kinda gotta assume the latter, but im really excited to find out what secondary canon has to say about it!

had a fucking hilarious dream that tumblr replaced the "block" function with the far funnier "glock" function, which did the exact same thing except whenever anyone blocked you a random bullet hole, like a png of a bullet hole, would appear on your blog. discourse blogs were unreadable bc you'd go to the page and the sheer amount of bullet hole pngs stacked over the blogs obscured everything. I woke myself up laughing
