There's this clip from a few years back where Steve Blum talks about Zeb's relationship with Kallus and I'm just wondering why nobody has ever mentioned the fact that he just straight up said that Zeb might be pregnant with Kallus's child!
In terms of queer content creators who Somerton ripped off who people should follow, one I am familiar with, is Joelle Monique. She is a bisexual Black woman who I'm sure has been made fully aware of how she was plagiarized. I've read a couple of her articles and saw her guest appearances on Girlship TV before seeing the Hbomberguy video. I don't presume to know what it's like to be in her position except that I can't imagine it feels good to be plagiarized by a white guy who espouses misogynist rhetoric and incorrectly labels bisexual women as being straight.
Funny thing is, while I really liked the Eddie/Richie ship in the adaptation of IT and was familiar with a couple of Joelle Monique's articles, if I'd seen Somerton's video on queer film horror I would not have realized he was ripping off her work in part. When he's not ripping off a lot of other people. I wouldn't have guessed. Somerton was in my recommendations page and I always went, "Ooh, that sounds interesting, I'll check it out when I have more time!" but the channel has been nuked.
And that sucks in that in his video on plagiarism HBomberguy said his intent was to make sure all monetization from his video went to writers/actors who Somerton plagiarized and thus unless he downloaded every Youtube video that isn't possible.*
*Apparently HBomberguy has, in fact, downloaded every video. That's great to hear.
Sources for Somerton's Plagiarism from Hbomberguy's Video (as much as I could get)
I went back through Harry's video, focused entirely on the sources James Somerton pulled from in the hopes of creating as much of a comprehensive list as I could--though my Google-Fu is not very strong. I did however find something I thought was forever lost and that made me very happy--specifically the magazine Midlands Zone containing the column by Steven Spinks that Harry poignantly used as an illustration of gay erasure... while Somerton uses it to sound like HE is waxing remorseful about the very subject.
This is not a complete list, I'm sure. For one thing, I was only able to attempt to pull sources that Harry himself mentioned in the video. Surely there's so very much more out there. I expect there to be a great deal more internet archeology to unearth just how much writing and culture Somerton has stolen like he's the British Museum of Natural History but for gay people.

Midlands Zone Magazine - Column by Steven Spinks
After a great deal of searching, I found an archive of the "Midlands Zone" magazine, where you can read through past issues dating all the way back to February 2014. I have also found the issue from which Somerton took Spinks' poignant discussion of gay erasure:
Overall archive
Specific Issue - Pages 16-17
It will not allow you to download it, but you can read it exactly as it appeared in print form.

I refrained from including certain sources.
First off only focusing on Somerton's work.
Secondly not including anything that might be visible enough to not require amplifying their voice (I cannot speak for all of those I have found links to, but journalism is frequently a thankless job).
Thirdly any source that is of a nature that is antithetical to the very existence of the queer community, such as the right-leaning source that didn't make it into Somerton's video, but Harry was able to identify as a source he had considered using.
If you feel I have missed a mentioned source--or you know of a source from material that was not covered in Harry's video--please do not hesitate to reblog with added details.

a list of feminine names i’ve adored and complied over years . please note the names are from a variety of origins and it’s best to research , in accordance to naming your character appropriately .
Women empowered by their own agendas, horribly flawed women who aren’t punished for these imperfections but allowed to grow into better people, and women actively seeking control over their bodies: These are the stories that fantasy trailblazers like Octavia Butler, Ursula K. Le Guin, and Alice B. Sheldon told years ago. Throughout time, women have been treated as vessels for men’s emotions, lineage, and reputation. Both The Witcher show and the Witcher books acknowledge and attempt to address these injustices, but the show does so without repeating the harmful depictions of women as sexual objects. Promisingly, it also joins a trend of women-led fantasy projects that suggest a brighter future.
Lovecraft Country is going to be a fun ride for the next ten weeks.
Can't wait for the discourse and believe me, there will be discourse.
If you are new to horror, or Lovecraft, or simply the Green Book, and Northern segregation and racism then I suggest that you find a favorite podcast or Black recapper and dive into the history.
Journee Smollet is on a tear and I am so excited to see Aunjanune as Hippolyta and Jonathan Majors as Atticus, and Wunmi Mosaku as Ruby. And holy shit! Jamie Chung! The casting is spot on and there are some changes from the book, but I like those changes so far.
Good jumpscares and some gore, but let's be real, the real horror is Racism. Fighting two monsters at once. This show is full of Eastern eggs and allusions, so there will be lots to unpack.
Anyway, Sunday appointment viewing for me. And bonus that it rolls nicely into Wynonna Earp.
Marvel: Let's publish a book about our Golden Age comics. And let's ask Art Spiegelman, award-winning creator of Maus, to write an essay.
Spiegelman: "Auschwitz and Hiroshima make more sense as dark comic book cataclysms than as events in our real world. In today’s all too real world, Captain America’s most nefarious villain, the Red Skull, is alive on screen and an Orange Skull haunts America."
Marvel: Ah...Art, could you take that last part out? We're trying to be apolitical.
Spiegelman: No. In fact, I'll withdraw the essay entirely.
Newsweek Twitter: "Maus" author removed from Marvel collection for calling Trump "Orange Skull"
Joelle Monique, who clearly didn't read the article: How dare Marvel remove Spiegelman for criticizing Nazi behavior, even though he didn't actually say what he disliked about Trump, and the Red Skull is a comic-book supervillian who's personally killed hundreds if not thousands of people?
I also like how both Spiegelman and Monique say the "Orange Skull" analogy was boring and inoffensive. Boring? Yes. Inoffensive? No. Plenty of people, including folks who hate Trump, are pretty sick of generic "orange man bad" sentiment.
And, of course, if it really didn’t matter, why is Monique so upset about the removal? Why can’t she come up with any actual defense other than the usual SocJus “Art's responsibility is to hold up a mirror to society.” made-up argument?
And when, exactly, did Maus become "the definitive nazi fiction". I'd say "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" or "The Man in the High Castle" were much better known, and I say this as someone who owns a copy of Maus.
And for the cherry on top, she's a Cali-dwelling Teen Vogue contributor with pronouns in her bio. Just to complete the “left-wing twitter NPC” stereotype.

“Merely frustrated, the formerly mild-mannered Gara shoots Melanie twice and leaves her body in the parking lot. The buildup of that scene relies on Melanie to be woefully cruel to Louis, to the point that viewers might say, "She's asking for it." When the shots ring out, there is a relief because the agitating factor has been eliminated. A woman's life has ended.”
Great article about violence against women in QT films by Joelle Monique.
Hey, can you think of any names that have a similar sound to Marie? Like two syllables but the second syllable is emphasized? Masculine or feminine is fine. Thank you?
No problem!
There are a lot of more feminine names that have this syllable pattern. Many of them have an “elle” or “anne” ending: Adele, Brielle, Danielle, Estelle, Giselle, Janelle, Joelle, Michelle, and Noelle end in “elle”, and Brianne, Joanne, Leanne, Luanne, Rosanne, Roxanne, and Suzanne end in “anne”. Here are some more:
Annette
Arlene
Camille
Celeste
Chantal
Claudine
Colette
Corinne

Evette / Yvette
Ines
Ione
Irene
Justine
Kathleen
Lenore
Lisette
Louise
Lucille
Maxine

And there are a few neutral names that work, too:
