Yukio Mishima has been trending this week for uh, reasons. He was a world renowned Japanese author and all of his work is overshadowed by his actions on November 25, 1970. You might not want to read more about this guy because he is horrible and disgusting, but he's utterly fascinating and the movie about him is brilliant.
He's a really interesting character, to the point that he sounds fictional. He's gay, obsessed with ritualistic death, a right wing lunatic, led a private militia that was halfway to a cult, and also was a legitimately great author. His life is covered in the film Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters and it's easily the most beautiful film I've seen in my life. Look at the stills I posted above; every frame of this movie looks like that. It's all just a series of beautiful paintings with people living in them.
The way the film is structured is that it tells the story of his life in three ways. His past is told in black and white flashbacks with static cameras. This is closer to how a movie from the 50's would look like (specifically ones directed by Yasujirō Ozu). The events of three of his books are told with this beautifully stylized look, with sets that look like stage plays. The events of November 25, 1970 is told in an almost normal fashion, with regular colors and competent camerawork. The past is nostalgic, the present is mundane and only in fantasy can you truly come alive.
Through this movie we see the ideology of Mishima coming through. His nationalism, his sexual feelings and his thoughts on beauty and death all come together. Death isn't just a violent and tragic end, it is in itself a beautiful act. Beauty is the only true goal of life and creating beauty brings honor. Growing old and ugly is an act of hate; to die at your peak is to give love back to the world. It is therefore treasonous to live long enough to die peacefully. He pities what heaven must look like now; when men died young and beautiful it was paradise, but now it is filled with old men.
This is an objectively insane way to view the world but it is also fascinating. How much of this was what he believed, and how much of it was just begging for attention? In one instance when asked why he moved to the right politically he said "because the left was full". It was a joke answer, but he clearly wanted to be in the spotlight. His shield society was a paramilitary group dedicated to living a virtuous life of beauty, honor and old ideals. It was also a group of good looking, athletic young men led by a (barely) closeted, conservative gay man. So much of his life could have gone differently but also he was pretty much in control the whole time; he was independently wealthy and revered on the world stage. He could do whatever he wanted, and apparently the way his life went *is* what he wanted.
What's special about Mishima, both in the film and in real life, is that he's a smart and eloquent guy. In films the guy with a crazy worldview is someone like Travis Bickle from Taxi Driver or D-Fens from Falling Down. Travis couldn't understand the alienation and loneliness he felt and he couldn't find any healthy solutions. D-Fens was smart enough but not emotionally strong enough to confront his problems or deal with them maturely. These are people that could benefit greatly from therapy (other examples include Joker from Joker, Rupert Pupkin from the King of Comedy, Frank Murdoch from God Bless America, Patrick Bateman from American Psycho, Tyler Durden from Fight Club and so, so many more).
These are either 20 something year olds that are lost in the world, alienated and lonely, or 40 something year olds with a mid life crisis when they realize that everything has fallen apart. People who don't know where to go, or realize it's too late to change things. Travis Bickle had basically no friends, no family, no charisma with women and a lot of rage and anger. D-Fens lost his job, his self respect and was estranged from his ex-wife and daughter. These are people who's lives are shit at best (Patrick Bateman is a bit of a subversion. He is rich and successful, but his life is completely hollow, his relationships are shallow and he personally is very, very pathetic. I need to write about American Psycho later that film is great too.).
Mishima is different. He's smart enough to understand his issues and how to find help. He's got the money and means to do so. He's famous and rich enough that he could basically get away with anything weird or eccentric so long as it was harmless. On the world stage he was a popular author, and at home he led a life of political activism. If he was unhappy he could easily find healthy ways to fix it. His self destruction was the most avoidable of any of them, yet he's the only one that existed in real life. You expect these people to have serious personality flaws and unfixable (or seemingly unfixable) problems, not to be poetic writers that adhere to healthy living and regularly journal about their emotions, while enjoying respect from their peers and fulfillment in their work.
It's a hell of a film. Paul Schrader has not written or directed anything better (he actually wrote Taxi Driver too, so he had some experience with this type of character before) and it stands out as an incredible experience to watch. Like, Mishima's life is public knowledge and you can probably guess how it went, but I've purposefully not said what happened on November 25, 1970 because I don't want to spoil it. It's an event that actually happened but it's better for you to find out via the film than some wikipedia page.

Based off the idea another poster said that another reason why Dick HATES the Joker is bc he gives a bad name to clowns.
Joker: HeeeheehahaAHAHAHA WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY NIGHTWING? Daddy isn’t here to stop you! What are you going to do?
Nightwing: You are a disgrace to the art of clownery.
Joker: wha?
Nightwing: You have broken EVERY rule in the clown code of ethics.

I will remember at all times that I have been accepted as a member of the clown club only to provide others, principally children, with clean clown comedy entertainment. the aesthetics challenge: a ten generations legacy challenge
i've always loved to play challenges in the sims 4, i find that they push to gameplays that i otherwise would probably never try, so i decided to try to create my own challenge.
while creating the requirements for each generation i was looking at the aesthetics wiki, so feel free to check it out if you have any doubt as to what an aesthetic means or what it should look like. also, i'm aware that some of this may not fit what some people think about certain aesthetics, but this was my own interpretation of them with the resources provided by the sims 4 gameplay to the date i'm posting this, so be nice pls <3
while making this i realized that someone else had already made a challenge with the same idea, though there are only two aesthetics that appear in both challenges and the requirements are different.
general rules:
though some generations do require you to live in a specific place, i only added the world part as to give you an idea, but you're welcome to have your sim live wherever you wish if not necessary.
given that it's a challenge based around the idea of aesthetics, you should probably create your sim based around the designated aesthetic
unless stated otherwise, you can marry/get together with any sim with whatever traits
use the #aestheticsims4challenge tag if you decide to play this challenge, i'd love to see what other people do with it :)
generation #1: witchcore
growing up you always loved to read about magical worlds and fantastic realms, so you used to stay away from other people and with the company of your beloved books and a cat. but when visiting a mysterious town you meet an strange man who claims to be a spellcaster, you witness all of your dreams come true and beg him to teach how to become one.

Yandere!Arthur Fleck Headcanons
Tumblr media
TW: Stalking, intrusion/breaking in, obsessive/controlling behavior, possible violence
A/N: Thank you to the anon who requested this. I hope you like it!
Arthur Fleck is definitely a jealous, obsessive type of yandere.
Due to his job(s), Arthur wouldn't be able to keep a constant eye on each and every move of yours.
Still he would find a way to let you know that he was always watching you.
After following you to your workplace/school once, he would make a habit of leaving you small notes there. The notes would be things such as "I'm watching you <3" or "You our so pretty" or "Can't wate to marry you :) "
How did it all begin, you ask? Well, it all started when you showed up at his doorstep on a plain Thursday night. An envelope - perhaps a bill - addressed to one "Arthur Fleck" was delivered to you by accident. So, you took it to the address listed on the bill, and found yourself face-to-face with the tall, green-eyed, thin man.
You gently told him what had happened, handed him the bill, and politely bid him goodnight.
Taken aback by your willingness to do the right thing, Arthur became intrigued with you. After you left, he wanted nothing more than to see you again.
The next day, you met Arthur by accident at Pogo's, a comedy club within Gotham. Drinking a bottle of inexpensive liquor or beer, you sat at a table alone...when all of a sudden, you saw Arthur take the stage.
His jokes were...fair. You liked some of the things he said about his schooling. So out of support, you laughed along with him with the best grin that you could muster.
You thought it was just harmless encouragement. But to Arthur, that was the confirmation to solidify what he already believed: you were made for him, that you were an angel sent from heaven to bring him joy in this dreary life of his. And that he could never let you be hurt by anyone, including himself.
Much of what Arthur did was...rather tame. In addition to leaving you notes, he would surprise you while you were on the way back from work/school. He'd give you a spontaneous song-and-dance routine, something inspired from an old film or one of his jobs as Carnival.
When he had a little extra money, he would leave a cheap, small box of chocolates or candies at your workplace. Along with a crude drawing of you and him as stick figures, holding hands surrounded by hearts.
It was easier not to take it personally, even though something in your gut felt very, very wrong about Arthur. He needed help, he needed a professional intervention from a therapist far better than the shoddy ones in the city. Still, a part of you thought that maybe he was just having a little crush, and that it would pass.
But everything changed one Saturday night. It was after the famous talk show host Murray Franklin was assassinated on live television by a comedian known as the "Joker" wearing a colorful costume and clown makeup.
Coincidentally, Arthur was mysteriously gone from you life. He was nowhere near you, much to your surprise. Relieved a little, you relaxed in your apartment with your favorite comfort food and a feel-good television show.
Just then, there was a knock. A familiar voice, calling your name.
Annoyed, you opened the door with a huff. "Arthur, how the hell did you- " At your door stood the same man who killed Murray Franklin, clown makeup dripping in all of its maniacal glory.
"There's no one to stop me now, doll," the Joker sweetly spoke, entering your apartment with a confident stride. "We can finally be together."
You trembled, trying to think of an escape route, any way to get out of this situation. "Arthur, please..."
The Joker slammed your door shut, and turned the lock. "I'm not him anymore, doll. I'm your world now. And don't even bother calling the police..." He pulled out a gun from his pocket and fired two shots at the door, causing you to scream.
"Now, now..." the Joker knelt, stroking your cheek with his thumb. "I'm not going to hurt you. You're mine, remember?"

Random Hashira Post #7
Massive shoutout to the sweet little bee, @koyuki-the-flower for this idea! All credit goes to her!
Tumblr media
The Hashira and the Comedy Club Chaos!
Rengoku Kyojuro
Kyojuro’s sense of comedy is quite innocent and cheerful. He loves his random puns and he regularly goes up to tell jokes
He likes to make up stories to start off his jokes since it’s fun for him to stir up a longer discussion
The crowd legit love him, even if he tells a bad joke or messes up
Kyojuro sometimes accidentally trips over the cable of the microphone, where he is babied by the crowd
Shinazugawa Sanemi
He is not a fan of actually telling jokes but he wouldn’t mind attending the club to challenge himself to a “try not to laugh”
Sanemi‘s sense of humour is based around vile/grime phrases, such as s***de, murder, etc.
Sanemi will gladly throw hands with the club’s local douchebag for being rude towards one of his fellow Hashira
He orders drinks a lot and most likely, gonna be hella drunk by the end of the night
Kocho Shinobu
Doesn’t mind telling jokes but she would much prefer to chill out and enjoy comedy
She has a mix of dark and light sense of humour. She’ll laugh at both variations equally
Shinobu will go up and tell a joke/story-joke at least once or twice throughout the entire event
Shinobu is another drinker of the Hashira. Not as bad as Tengen and Sanemi, though, she goes hard with wine
Tomioka Giyuu
Giyuu will NOT ever go up and tell jokes. Try force him and he’ll go hide in the bathrooms
His sense of humour is very dark, horribly screwed and centred around the not-so nice unlive option. Don’t let him even make up jokes
Giyuu may just bring his katana with him for “self defence” and empty-threateningly raise it whenever the comedy club host calls him out to go up
He is most likely messing around on his phone the entire night as he pays for the Taxi to pick up the big group by the end
Uzui Tengen
To be honest, this man is the king of humour and comedy clubs
He is the Hashira that is mostly telling jokes and hogs the stage a lot throughout the night
Tengen enjoys all the drinks he orders as he randomly starts singing out his next joke
Tengen will make smut jokes and/or joke-references quite a lot, it’s kinda scary
Kanroji Mitsuri
The second most frequent joke-teller of the Hashira. She loves making people laugh
Mitsuri has the most wholesome and cute sense of humour, that it’s impossible for her to say anything naughty or gross
Mitsuri makes cat jokes and pulls up funny cat pictures as often as she can. She finds them funny
She doesn’t touch drinks at all, alongside Muichiro, Giyuu and Gyomei, and helps drag the drunk Hashira out of the club
Tokito Muichiro
Seriously. Never let him tell jokes, even more ‘no’ then Giyuu
Muichiro always forgets what he is saying so he blurts off for ten minutes and has to be shooed off stage
That’s fine. Muichiro prefers listening to jokes within the crowd anyway
And mayhaps, judging specific ones based on his very picky sense of humour. He laughs like only once or twice for the entire night
Himejima Gyomei
Will laugh at absolutely anything, even if it’s not really funny to him. He likes cheering people up
Shows support to his fellow Hashira by coming up with jokes out of thin air for them to use
Gyomei is experienced in joke-telling with his past of children care so he does have a wholesome sense of humour
Gyomei will go up anytime he is asked or anytime he feels like he should
Iguro Obanai
The literal king of dark humour. His jokes aren’t the over-the-top dark but just the right amount of edgy
Do you suspect Obanai would only make snake puns? At minor times he does. In all honesty, he is more of story-joker
Obanai will tell jokes on stage if Mitsuri asks him too. If not, he’s enjoying the chaos in the background
Surprisingly, he is the one who collects the drinks for the Hashira. He happened to be getting up at the right time
I don’t know the artist name but credit, of the art above, goes to him/her/them!

IRAQI'S MOST WANTED
By Tom Infield, Knight Ridder - European edition, Saturday, April 12, 2003
WASHINGTON -- Saddam Hussein, of course, drew the ace of spades. The U.S. Central Command has introduced a new way for troops to pass the time: a pack of playing cards depicting the ousted Iraqi dictator and 51 of his key henchmen. Saddam's elder son, Odai, is the ace of hearts in the deck, which has a desert camouflage design on the back of the cards. Odai has been accused of serial rapes and murders of young women. Saddam's younger son, Qusai, is the ace of clubs. Brig. Gen. Vincent Brooks publicly introduced the cards Friday at a news briefing in Qatar. "This deck of cards is one example of what we provide to soldiers out in the field, with the faces of the individuals and what their role is," he said. Officials said the cards, which also include several jokers without faces, had a purpose besides helping to kill boredom. They're a military version of the FBI's Ten Most Wanted. As they get passed around, they might help a soldier or Marine catch one of the figures. At the Pentagon, an official said that only a couple of hundred decks had been sent to the combat zone, but that more could be dealt out in a jiffy. The cards were made up by wags at the Defense Intelligence Agency, which is on the hunt for the depicted characters. The Pentagon has not copyrighted the cards, which means that anyone could produce them, a defense official said. Beyond Saddam and his sons, only a few of the faces or names would likely be familiar to a soldier. One, perhaps, is Tariq Aziz, the longtime foreign minister, who for some reason is the lowly eight of spades. Nowhere to be found is Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, the former Iraqi information minister whose daily briefings--in which he denied the all-too-obvious advances of American troops had made him the object of comedy spoofs. He was quite a card, but he's not in the deck.

I was tagged by @zyrafowe-sny (thanks!) and I'm supposed to share seven comfort movies of mine. And it's a freaking difficult task, turns out, because the first six I can list off the top of my head, and then I had to think, and then, and then I listed like ten different movies, and it was a tie.
1. Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame (yeah, it's Problematic, yeah, I hate the gargoyles, and also yeah, I've sung Hellfire while drunk more times than I can remember)
2. Pacific Rim, the ultimate movie to watch while ironining the laundry if I'm not rewatching Star Trek TOS. Gay scientists and a giant robot using a giant ship as a giant club, hitting a kaiju with it before traveling sort of to space. Come on.
3. Re-Animator. I mean, if you've had the misfortune of following me for the past months, I don't think I need to elaborate on that
4. Bride of Re-Animator
5. Quick Change. It's a 1980s Bill Murray comedy about bank robbers getting lost in NYC. That's it.
6. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. And before you say anything, please bear in mind that at one point, I was considering putting Joker on that list. So. There. An incel narrative but with a mad scientist. It's a musical, and the number sung by the incel while he's stalking stacy during her date with a chad slays the absolute penis.
7. Hydrozagadka. A 1970s black-and-white campy superhero movie made in communist Poland. The villain is a mad scientist who's quoting Goethe and plotting to steal away Poland's water reserves. His evil plan contains balloons carrying small fridges that will make the evaporated water liquefy over the country of his choosing. Doofenshmirtz level shit. The secondary villain is wearing brownface and a turban. Both of them are queer-coded af. There's also an alligator who listens only to commands given in German. His name is Hermann. At first, I was sad to learn that there's no subtitled version on YouTube, but then I've realized it's for the best.

Harley Quinn Background
ooo alright here we go! Pay attention to trigger warning especially this time, my loves, her story gets very dark at one point.
TW: physically abusive relationships, child death, violence
Harleen Quinzel was born to a very respectable upper middle class family in Brooklyn. For the most part it was a fairly normal upbringing. Dad always worked a bit too late, parents had very high expectations for her- ADHD that wouldn't be diagnosed until she was well into adulthood.
The problems came as she got older and her parents made it clear they wanted certain... oddities from their daughter to be curbed in. She'd always been a little wild, with some unique ideas on what it meant to be a lady. Tutus on dumpster truck toys she traded from the neighbors older brother for a candy bar. They would enroll her in gymnastic classes to get out that extra energy and verbally correct the rest of it.
Pick and pull and pluck at someone's personality enough and they'll bury it so far down it would take cadaver dogs to bring it back up.
By the time she was eighteen, her parents had successfully reined her in to be respectable and more than slightly neurotic. Masking galore despite not even knowing the term yet, full ride for a psychology degree paid by family savings, and a desperate need to please.
The last would only amplify as she went through her bachelor's then her doctorate... Failed romantic relationships because the moment people saw a fraction of the real her, it was too much. Or her parents disapproved.
In truth, she never should have been allowed to be Joker's psychologist. But it was earlier in grand scheme of things. Before Arkham required pre-interviews for anyone working with Joker. And the weekly check-ins.
The way he slithered into her heart with fake sob-stories of his childhood itself should have been criminal. Encouraged her to just be herself around him when no one else did. Soft touches on her hand when they pass by each other in the room or the halls.
Over the course of several months, Joker changed her. Convinced her he was the only one who truly understood her. That if she could just do one tiny little thing for him, she could be his forever... She was fired shortly after someone caught her kissing him on the cheek.
The gymnastic classes ended up coming in handy with her new criminal career as she broke him out of Arkham. A flip and a jump and some flexibility as she avoided the many cameras of the building. By the time anyone knew she was in the building with her costume on, it was far too late. Joker was free with his new partner Harley Quinn, named after the comedy character archetype.
She would be an essential part of her lover growing even bigger than ever before. Harley even came up with the concepts for Joker Venom :) both lethal and nonlethal versions.
The physical and psychological abuse started shortly after. It got to a point she started thinking of the Bobo Doll Experiment. It's fine! Hit her, stab her, kick her, she'll always bounce right back! Wobbling until she comes back upright to start all over again.
Somewhere between years of breaking up and getting back together again, covered in bruises, Harley meets Poison Ivy. From the first heist together, they get on like a house fire except for one thing: Pamela despises Joker and how he treats Harley.
She helps Harley pack her stuff every time they break up. Tries to convince her every time not to go back. Offers her to stay permanently and help build the crib when Harley finds out she's pregnant. She goes back.
Pamela is there to pick Harley up out of the god awful club he left her in. She "fell down the stairs" of the place and, from what Poison Ivy could see, hit every step and hand-railing on the way down. In hospital they found out Harley lost the baby.
The only thing that stopped Poison Ivy from killing the Joker herself was the idea that Harley might not ever fully forgive her. However, that didn't stop her from beating him within an inch of his life and dipping his feet into the acid of her giant pitcher plants. Her words, "If you ever hurt her again, I will watch my babies eat you alive."
The next time Pamela sees Harleen, Harley has already made the decision that this time was the last time. And that Poison Ivy is her soulmate. Romantic or not, that will depend upon HCs.
Harley has to learn how to love herself all over again. The real her. Not the version her parents wanted her to be. Or the version that man manipulated her to be. With new friends at her side and her opening up, she figures out how to hold her head high and be her delightfully weird self.
In this time she ends up evolving into more of an antihero that dances the lines. Dyed hair, charms attached to her belt buckles, stickers on her mallet and a wide toothy grin. She's diagnosed with ADHD and PTSD during one of her stints in Arkham post-Joker.
Many years into the future she and Batman will have something of a friendly alliance. And he'll tell her how proud he is at how far she's come. Yes, she cries and hugs him, to his awkward Dad-patting.

M*A*S*H - Viewguide, Bonus Episodes
Listen, I missed some. There’s more.
Might be going back and adding these in to each of my season-by-season viewguides; still working that out. In the meantime, my caption for all of these is, “You fool!!!,” and also a bit more:
M*A*S*H - Seasons 1-11 More recommended episodes
1x17 ‘Sometimes You Hear the Bullet’ - Well your guide is me: finally including this one for reasons of maybe the only ever reference to the voice on the PA who doesn’t exist—Essential Moments. Would say your mileage may vary on the rest, but apparently everyone else loves this one, it’s just me being mixed over here! I don’t know! Love Henry in this. This is a Henry episode. To me.
2x06 ‘Kim’ - Trapper wants to adopt a 5-year-old Korean boy, if the rest of the camp doesn’t beat him to it. Margaret wears a red sweater. That’s not relevant to the plot, but she looks pretty.
2x08 ‘The Trial of Henry Blake’ - I had chosen ‘Divided We Stand’ out of the two of these in Season 2 (people from outside the 4077th looking at them and going, wait…), but in doing so deprived you of a veritable cavalcade of iconic bits, including the series’ only “fuck,” though you have to squint through the cursive.
2x14 ‘Hot Lips and Empty Arms’ - Margaret breaks up with Frank and tries to break up with the entire 4077, but they just can’t quit each other. The debut of Loretta Swit’s fucking unparalleled drunk acting. You Will Laugh.
2x19 ’The Chosen People’ - Let’s get into some pointed inter-cultural comedy! When this one started I thought, oh, this might be promising, then soon after I thought, oh no, then after that I thought, actually this is pretty interesting, the 1970s. And rollicking. I MISS SAM PAK.
3x14 ‘Private Charles Lamb’ - I inadvertently made a very interestingly haunted little pairing by having this and the next be my Season 3 bonuses.
3x24 ‘Abyssinia, Henry’ - It's historic TV. Perhaps not "good" TV, but so history.
4x07 ‘The Bus’ - Experimental episode where they strand Potter, Radar, Hawkeye, BJ, and Frank on a broken-down bus in the woods. A real oddity at this stage of the show, at times almost genuinely eerie. Only missed my original list due to Frank's whole vibe just being so shrill. Frank, huushhh hush hush, shhh.
5x01-02 ‘Bug Out, Parts 1 and 2’ - They bug out. Unusual! Hawkeye & Margaret side of affairs a bit of an ‘Aid Station’ retread, but a) you can do far worse than a Hawkeye & Margaret ‘Aid Station’ retread, and b) Potter, BJ, and Klinger are real great on the away-team.
5x14 ‘Hawk’s Nightmare’ - I mentioned this one in my S5 lede; its moment is finally here.
6x07 ‘The Light That Failed’ - They Were All So Cold, and reading a mystery novel together.
6x13 ‘Comrades In Arms, Part 1’ - Yes just Part 1. I love Part 1, and doing things like saying: just Part 1. Imagine the rest. It's what we're doing. :)
7x01 ‘Commander Pierce’ - Chain of command drama comma emotional drama comma helloooo! This is a ~Tarra Select~
7x02 ‘Peace On Us’ - What comes before Part B? Part-Ayyy! This is also somehow a joke about how this was supposed to be the first episode of Season 7 but aired second. Not sure how, but it is.
8x14 ‘Stars and Stripes’ - You haven’t met Scully yet, but no matter, this is where Scully decides to suck. The reason to watch this one is for Margaret, and Margaret & Hawkeye drinking in the O Club to their parallel unluck in love. Mr. and Mrs. 4077, Henry called them once when he had the flu. I think about that. [strangled with emotion] They’re a pair!
9x02 ‘Letters’ - They Were All So Damp
10x20 ‘Sons and Bowlers’ - You are just gonna have to IGNORE that the Margaret plot is flown straight in from Season 1, just hang on and know it has a good ending. Meanwhile: Charles & Hawkeye & Dads. I think this is one of the loveliest things this show does in its later seasons.
11x04 ‘The Joker Is Wild’ - This meanwhile is the most insane thing this show ever, ever did. By the same man who wrote 'Preventative Medicine', and the subject of my armchair psychology dissertation I swear to god, John.
11x06 ‘Bombshells’ - Actually probably the “best” episode of Season 11 I think. There's a sort of pervasive sense of loss to all of it, even the bits, that leads well to the finale.

Hi! I like your art it's cool
Also do you know where one may find a Joker? I woke up today and chose violence. *does a small zap with his faz tazer to demonstrate*
- Gregory
Hey, thanks kid!
And a joker... hmm, depending on the kind of joker you're looking for I'd say either a deck of cards or an abandoned comedy club.
But a quick suggestion? If this is the Joker I'm thinking about, you might want just a bit stronger of an arsenal.
Here! [He rifles through a drawer and takes out a baseball bat.] Oh and take that big metal bear friend of yours! Better to have some armour.
