April Fools - Kate Bishop
Pairings: Kate Bishop x Fem! reader.
Warnings: Fluff, romantic comedy, cuteness overload because I miss Kate, reader is Spider-Girl.
Word count: 1765.
Tumblr media
Kate looks up from her place on the couch to see Y/n in the kitchen with Yelena teaching the blonde how to make her favorite dessert, Brazilian brigadeiro, after they made the whole dinner by themselves. Both were entertained as Y/n made little balls of chocolate and rolled on the sprinkles, completely unaware that Kate is observing Y/n’s every move.
“You look like a stalker,” Clint said next to her, making her, reluctantly, look at him with a questioning look. “Have you ever realized how much you stare Y/n? Every time move she makes is caught because you look at her like a motion detection camera.”
Kate opens her mouth to say something, but it closes quickly. There is nothing she can tell Clint to get out of this position, he caught her, and both know it. The raise of his eyebrow is enough evidence.
“Don’t you think it would be easier if you just talked to her?” He continues to question.
“She is my best friend, Clint.” Kate sighs, looking over her shoulder and seeing Y/n hand Yelena one small chocolate ball, the blonde caught it looking for a few seconds as if inspecting. “I don’t want to ruin our friendship, it’s better if we stay like this.”
“I think that’s stupid.” He bluntly says, shaking his head and sighing. “And you’ll just keep looking at her like a puppy waiting for an owner?”
“Yes.” She said without thinking much, before turning to him quickly. “Wait, that’s rude!”
“It’s the truth.”
“Oh, this is good!” Yelena says in the kitchen, and Kate looks back at them. Yelena has her eyes wide, one hand holding Y/n’s forearm and the other throwing the rest of the chocolate in her mouth. “This is very very good.”
“Right? Now you understand why it’s my favorite.” Y/n replies with a cute small laugh that makes Kate look at her yearning. “Now c’mon, help me make the rest.”
“She will find out, you’re very bad at hiding.” Clint was vocal again, but this time he was getting up, about to stop the commotion in the kitchen due to Yelena making another brigadeiro just to throw in her mouth. “Hey, get out of there, Yelena.”
“Shut up, these are made to be eaten.” Yelena narrows her eyes at him, challenging him.
“Go sit with Kate, Yelena, I will make some extra for you.” Y/n sighs as she points to the living room. “But only if you sit there and don’t steal more brigadeiros.”
“Fine.” She fake complains and gives Clint a hard stare as if saying ‘don’t you dare eat my damn chocolate’.
“Can you make little balls for me, Clint? I’ll make more for Yelena before she kills someone because of chocolate.” Y/n asks before showing Clint what needs to be done.
“Smart girl, I would not hesitate,” Yelena replies as she sits on the couch where the older archer had been before. “You were staring like a creep, Kate Bishop.”
Kate almost chokes on her saliva as she hears it. Not only her mentor, and best friend, had noticed, but now Yelena had noticed too. And maybe Clint was right, it wouldn’t be long until Y/n realizes as well.
Okay, she was a bit slower at noticing romantic advances and Kate would often give really good excuses for her staring, but she wasn’t stupid.
“Is it that obvious?” Kate asks and Yelena nods with a funny face.
“Maybe not to her yet, but she is a superhero. Quick thinking and all of that.”
“Goddamn it!” Kate complains putting her hands on her face with a sigh. “I’m doomed, Yelena.”
“Tomorrow is that day,” Yelena says, trying to remember. “April Fools, use that!”
Kate looks at Yelena clearly confused.
“Do I have to do everything? A prank, that is not a prank.” She rolls her eyes at Kate. “Jesus, Kate Bishop, love made you slow.”
“I’m both offended and grateful.” Kate said as she shook her head.
As the archer leaned her back into the sofa thinking about what she would do tomorrow. Yelena was right, she could use this opportunity to put up to test the strong chemistry between them, but Y/n didn’t make it much clear if she actually felt something romantic for Kate or just as a friend.
Yelena had left Kate’s apartment late at night, Clint went to sleep on Kate’s bed while Kate and Y/n had left early to go to her apartment. Y/n had inconveniently forgotten her Spider-Girl suit charging and the other one was still drying from when she accidentally fell at the lake. But it allowed Clint to have a better night’s rest with Lucky and no unstoppable laughs coming from the girls.
Kate woke up in the morning confused as to why Y/n was screaming her name in desperation, she sat up trying to open her eyes and focus on her distressed best friend.
“I’m up, what’s going on?” Kate asked shoving the covers to the side and getting up, almost falling in the process, vision still blurred.
“I lost my powers!” Y/n said and to make her point she tried to shoot a web and miserably failed.
“What?!”
“Exactly!” Y/n ran her hands through her hair, which was very disheveled. “I have no idea why this is happening, oh my god.”
Kate is still trying to process as she gets close and puts a hand on Y/n’s shoulder. “Is there something stressing you up? We will get to the bottom of this!”
“I mean, yes… My ex texted me saying they want us to get back.” Y/n sighed as she revealed.
“That little shit-“ Kate breathes in angrily. “I have excellent aim Y/n; I will shoot them!”
“Kate, there’s no-“ Y/n interrupts herself and scrunches her nose up, her mouth opening as she is clearly about to sneeze. “A-a-atchoo!”
Y/n sneezes and Kate’s face is suddenly full of webbing. Her best friend laughs out loud, helping to take out all the webbing covering her eyes, nose and mouth.
“Oops, I think it was webbing constipation.” Y/n defends herself poorly. “April fools!”
“Oh, you-!” Kate says as both manage to take the web out of her face, and she goes to the bathroom to take out the rest and brush her teeth, ignoring how Y/n’s cute smile released the whole zoo inside her stomach.
“Sorry, I couldn’t resist!” Y/n defends herself, leaning on the door. “You always do something, so I wanted to get you first!”
Kate silently brushes her teeth taking the rest of the web and Y/n helps clean her hair. Kate finishes brushing her teeth and suddenly pulls the other close, pressing the spiderling against the sink, one hand on each side of the woman. Y/n’s demeanor changes immediately, eyes widening, breath hitching, cheeks burning crimson and making it very visible to the archer her frustration.
“You shouldn’t play with me like that, Y/n.” Kate says slowly, and Y/n visibly gulps looking deep into her dark blue eyes.
Kate’s fall comes quickly after that, Y/n forcefully changes their places and now the archer was the one being pressed against the sink, eyes wide in surprise at the overconfident way her best friend had done that.
“You accepted that the day you turned into my best friend, Bishop, you were very aware and if anything you think I'm funny as hell.”
Kate gulped, before blurting out. “I like you.” Y/n rolled her eyes as the other one added. “Romantically.”
“Haha, Kate, I already know it’s April Fools.” The spiderling answers, shaking her head. “C’mon I thought you could be more original.”
“I am being original; this is reverse April Fools.” Kate defended herself. “I’m telling the truth instead.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Y/n still didn’t believe her as she pulled away.
Kate then put both hands on the sides of Y/n’s face and pulled her in for a long peck. She felt Y/n get rigid, then sigh slightly as she relaxed, however as if a sudden bucket of cold water was thrown in her head, she gently pushed Kate back.
“Katherine!” She said with wide eyes and crimson cheeks.
“I am being serious now; I didn’t know how to tell you and Yelena suggested doing a prank that was real.” The archer started to talk, looking away a bit embarrassed. “I was planning on a more elaborate prank to see if you felt something for me too, but… I kind of lost my cool.”
“I…“ Y/n was speechless, finally downing on her what was happening.
“I am in love with you, reverse April fools!” Kate sings shaking her hands a bit as silence fills the room.
The other woman suddenly scoffs, shaking her head as she clearly cannot believe her ears. But it’s Kate that is shocked when she speaks again.
“It fucking took you long enough, Kate, seriously. Yelena had to suggest that? Jeez.” Y/n rolls her eyes as she gets closer and kisses Kate’s cheek. “I’m also in love with you, idiot.”
“I swear to god if you’re playing me right now-“ Kate narrows her eyes, getting distrustful.
“I will kiss you to prove it.” Y/n shrugged.
“A real one, no bromancing!” The archer raises an eyebrow, defying Y/n to do that. “Bromance without the bro.”
“…Mance?” Y/n asks in confusion.
“I meant romance actually.” Kate corrects herself, sheepishly.
“I think you should stop talking.” Y/n laughs as she shakes her head.
“I am trying to, but you’re taking too long to kiss me!” The other one defends herself yet again.
Y/n makes the last step and kisses Kate, first a long peck, but then both deepened the kiss putting all their bottled-up feelings into it. When they separated, breathing hard, both laughed.
“Okay, this really isn’t a prank.” Kate said, breathless as she looked lovingly into Y/n’s eyes.
“I’m not sure yet, I think you need to keep kissing me to try and convince me.” Y/n says, clearly not meaning it, but making more excuses to kiss Kate.
“Oh, how dreadful.” Kate replies, smiling. "Normally I'd say you need to put more trust in me but... I don't know, we need to really make sure this isn't a prank."
She had to remember to thank Yelena later, maybe pamper the shit out of her with some brigadeiros and spicy food as a thank you. She would definitely be happy with that.
In the meanwhile, Kate would take her time kissing her best friend, current lover, and future girlfriend. They obviously needed to make sure it wasn’t a prank (an excuse they would use even in the future).

Tumblr media
She's a little bit psycho
But she follows
When I call in the middle of the night
Kate grimaced as she watched the boys circle round you, listening intently like obedient little puppies with wagging tails as you told a story about taking out five agents at once. They were completely captivated by you and it wasn’t just because of your knack for story telling.
These were some of Earth’s mightiest heroes; the strongest men on the planet but they all just about swooned whenever you would be generous enough to give them your time.
Bucky had his hand on the small of your back, his head dipped to be closer to your face and take in every word you said. Thor had leaned his elbow off the bar on the other side of you, making sure that he was flexing and you could see those bulging muscles. Sam was more calm and collected, standing in front of you casually with his hand in his pocket and the other holding a beer. However, he wasn’t discreet in how he’d looked you up and down every now and then, being enchanted by your figure. Shang Chi also stood next to Sam across from you and bellowed heartily at all of your jokes. His cheeks hurt from smiling so wide at everything you were saying.
It was hilarious really, all of this effort was being expended on you but at the end of the night, you’d be going home to Kate’s house to be used in any way she saw fit.
She’s got you wrapped around her finger
You try to linger
But she's already on her way to mine
“Doesn’t it bother you that she gets all of that attention?” Yelena asked, grabbing Kate’s focus away from you. She was one of the very select few people who knew of yours and Kate’s “arrangement”. The blonde sipped her drink thoughtfully and watched Kate adamantly protest.
“Absolutely not, no. No way. She’s her own person, she can do what she likes.” Kate insisted. She took a large gulp of the questionable spirit that Yelena had handed her and tried to hide the obvious burn in her throat to look cool in front of the assassin.
“If you say so, Kate Bishop,” Yelena shrugged. “Although I have heard the way you make her moan so I wouldn’t be too worried if I were you.”
Kate blinked several times in disbelief at her slightly unusual and unlikely friend. “What do you mean you’ve heard her moan?”
“I slept on your couch last Friday night.”
“But I didn’t invite you to my house on Friday night!”
Yelena groaned as if Kate was the one that was being unreasonable. “Kate, you should know by now that I can come and go without you even noticing. Besides, you’re focusing on the wrong part. I know that you are probably a better fuck than all of those men put together.”
Kate nodded, thinking about it a little with her eyebrow raised. Yelena was right, many times had you exclaimed at Kate that she was the best you’d ever had as she’d brought you to your climax several times in one session. The archer turned back to look at you again. Annoyingly, the guys had moved in even closer to you in a passive aggressive stand off to win your affection. Nevertheless, it was Kate that received the whimsical and suggestive eyes from across the room and she knew that it was her that would be making you moan again that night.
She plays with the boys
But she comes home to me
Cause she might be your girl
But she’s calling me daddy
The longer the night went on, the more primal showboating was exhibited by the men. They’d all shoved each other in a needy and pathetic attempt to show you how to play pool. It was Sam that prevailed and he’d pressed himself up against your back, whispering in your ear what to do and basically bending you over the table to “show you the best technique”.
Thor nonchalantly told you about his great battle stories from across the realms, being sure to drop in that many a time the odds were against him but he had emerged victorious. He contended that whilst a vibranium arm, ten “magic” rings and the shield were cool, they weren’t quite Mjolnir or Stormbreaker.
Bucky and Shang Chi had cornered you to settle a debate on what would make the best first date. Bucky was insistent that it was dinner and dancing; men these days just didn’t know how to treat a woman. Shang Chi had advocated for drinks and karaoke; it’s casual and fun, no one has to take themselves too seriously. When they had prodded you for an answer you just smiled sweetly and told them that both sounded like perfect ideas for a first date. This just spurred them on even more in hopes of achieving a date with you.
Kate started to feel more and more insecure watching all of these events unfold. It was like watching you being stalked as prey by a bunch of wolves. Suddenly, the idea occurred to her that maybe none of them were relenting because you hadn’t given them a reason to.
It was a tough pill to swallow; the idea that you had already given yourself over to them the way you did for Kate. Perhaps, you had actually slept with any number of them before and not told her. It’s not like the two of you discussed your other sexual partners while she was making you see stars. Still, watching you giggle and flirt with the guys whilst never displaying any signs of discouragement was all the evidence she needed.
Kate was starting to feel apprehensive that she was disposable to you. Whilst you might have been sleeping with other avengers and other people outside of the team for that matter; Kate had only ever wanted you.
She's mine
She wears a collar with my name
Secretive but not ashamed
Kate had had enough of watching the guys stumble over each other in desperate attempts to get close to you. Her breathing got heavy and her actions became aggressive. The final straw was watching Bucky put his arms around you from behind and swaying with you to the cheesy song playing.
Kate stormed over, puffing her chest out, with her hands in her pockets, exuding as much masculine energy as possible to join this competition.
“Come with me to the bathroom.” She ordered assertively giving you a look which told you that you should comply.
“Okay.” You replied, giving Bucky’s had a light tap. “Can you let me go, Buck? I’ll be right back, promise.” He quickly let you go with a pout on his face, devastated that you were going but eager for the return you’d promised.
“Why do girls always need to go to the bathroom together?” Sam interjected with a laugh. It amused you as you knew this wasn’t going to be a cute little catch up whilst topping up lipglosses together.
“I would tell you why, Sam, but then I’d have to kill you.” You flirted as Kate took your hand to pull you away. She groaned internally and rolled her eyes as you gave the boys a cute little wave and followed her into the bathroom.
Kate wasted no time in shoving you up against the wall, pinning your hands above your head and kissing you roughly. You moaned a little into her mouth, having been taken by surprise and you felt a familiar heat grow between your legs.
“You. Are. Driving. Me. Crazy.” She growled against your mouth before kissing you again, almost as though she was trying to consume you.
You smirked into the kiss, shuffling a little against her as you got more and more turned on. Kate was firm and still, holding your wrists in place against the wall. She moved to kiss along your jaw and finally down to your neck. The smell of cologne was lingering on you. It could have been from any of them, given that they’d all taken turns in trying to press themselves against you. It burned in Kate’s nostrils and motivated her even further to claim you.
Infatuated with an incredible need to mark her territory, Kate had become no better than the guys.
She harshly bit down on your neck and sucked in your most sensitive spot which inspired an excited yelp from you.
“Fucking hell, Kate.” You breathed out, moaning as she kept going. She dropped your wrists and her hands roamed the rest of your body, kneading your tits, dragging her nails down your abdomen over your dress and landing with a smack on your ass, cupping your cheeks.
You had wrapped your arms around her shoulders, enjoying every second of having her hands all over you. In truth, you enjoyed flirting with the guys. Partly because they were all undeniably handsome but mostly because you know it would get Kate all worked up like this.
Once she’d left a suitably obvious hickey on your neck she left a kiss on it and admired her work. She reached her hand up and grabbed on to your throat tightly and you relished in the squeeze.
“Who do you belong to?” Kate asked, giving you a stern and authoritarian look.
“You.” You moaned, enjoying this a little too much already.
“You, what?”
“You, daddy.”
Kate smirked and bit her lip at you becoming a mess already for her. “That’s right, babygirl. That’s fucking right.”
She turned you round so your chest was pressed against the wall. Your ass received a couple of harsh spanks before Kate pulled the hem of your dress up to rest on your hips. Her next move was to get on her knees behind you, biting at the sore flesh of your ass and you could have screamed. Fingertips digging into the wall and legs trembling, you turned your head to look at the door being so painfully aware that anyone could just walk in.
Kate pulled your underwear down and let it fall to your ankles. Putting her hand between your thighs, she parted your legs to get at her favourite part of your body. Slowly, she opened her mouth and dragged her tongue along your aching clit. A gasp was emitted from your lips and you arched your back to stick your bum out, exposing more of your pussy to Kate’s tongue.
Kate chuckled at your eagerness and submission. Her hands gripped your hips to keep you in place as she started to suck on your clit. She would take long gulps and hollowed out her cheeks to the drag the pleasure out for as long as possible. You were a writhing, moaning mess. Your forehead was pressed against the wall in a pathetic attempt to ground yourself. Your hands awkwardly flailed from resting against the wall to putting them over Kate’s on your hips. Usually, you would tug at her hair but with her being on her knees behind you, it was too difficult.
She hummed contentedly against you and it sent a sharp jolt of pleasure through your body. The mewls and cries you let out were so high pitched, you were both a little in shock that your voice could even go that high. Kate would alternate her method between sucking your clit to get it all nice and sensitive and then would lap it up with her tongue. The noises you were making told her all she needed to know about what a good job she was doing.
She noted your legs beginning to shake and knew you were close. Feeling yourself get very sensitive you tried to move away from her. Kate responded with gripping your hips tighter and digging her nails in. This sent you flying over the edge.
“Oh my god, thank you, daddy! I’m cumming, fuck!” You screamed as you let go, Kate sucking for longer in order to drag your orgasm out for as long as possible.
You leaned against the wall for support, your hands pressed on it to steady yourself. You focused on your haphazard breathing and attempted to regulate it. Kate gently pulled your underwear back up and stood up to pull your dress back down. She kissed your shoulder repeatedly and rubbed your back as you came to.
“You wanna go home?” She asked softly.
“Yeah.” You replied, knowing it wouldn’t be long before both of you were up for round two.
You should see their face when they finally realize
That she plays with the boys
But she comes home to me
It was pretty obvious when you and Kate emerged from the bathroom what you had been up to. Her hand was on the small of your back and she occasionally gave you some shoulder kisses. Likewise, you adorned a large love bite on your neck whilst your face and chest were red and flushed.
Kate wished she could have taken a picture of the guys’ faces. Each one of them had their jaw dropped in complete shock, having realised just how naive and clueless they had been all night. It made you giggle but it made Kate smug.
You took your bag back from Shang Chi who was holding it for you, giving the four men a sweet smile. “Tonight was fun, I’ll see you guys later. Bye.”
They wordlessly all raised their hands to wave you off. All of them were bitter and disappointed they had not caught on that it was Kate they had needed to compete with.
You turned to Kate who had tasked herself with sorting the Uber. Her hand returned to your back as she guided you out of the bar. She may not have had good odds in a fight against any of the four men, but she had won this and honestly, this was more satisfying.
Head's a mess
She's responsible
Change her mind
It's impossible
You rested your head on Kate’s shoulder in the car, relaxing into her. Kate moved and put her arm around you to which you gave a contented sigh.
Kate looked down at the sweet sight of you in her arms and began to wonder if this was enough for her. She couldn’t handle watching men flirting with you in a bar right in front of her face so she shuddered to think about what you did behind her back.
Her brain flooded with intense intrusive thoughts. Bucky’s vibranium arm round your neck, squeezing it just the way you liked. Sam bending you over that pool table, riding your dress up and pulling your underwear down just as Kate had done in the bathroom. Shang Chi spanking you as you let out excited moans, begging him for more. Thor eating you out as though you were his last meal and making your voice hoarse with your screams.
Kate groaned, the thoughts making her feel nauseous. She was aware that you had maybe done any of those things before. The real kick in the teeth though, is that you weren’t Kate’s girlfriend and were perfectly free to still do those things.
You had never suggested wanting anything serious, seemingly content with the arrangement you and Kate had whilst freely flirting with the guys on nights out. It occurred to the archer that she might control you in the bedroom but in real life it was you that held the reigns. You had everyone right where you wanted them.
Watch the girl get what she likes

Hi can I request a fluffy Kate bishop x female reader where reader shows Kate what squish mellow she wants after Kate sees her ogling at some?
This is the best fic idea ever anon
Frost covered window - Kate Bishop
Tumblr media
You'd been on a walk, out to get some coffee with your girlfriend Kate by your side, listening as she mumbled on about her latest mission with Clint, and her struggles to house-train lucky, despite having had the dog for over a year now. You were beginning to think such a thing was a hopeless task when the dog had gained such common habits, but Kate was determined to make it work. There was pure love in her heart, and when she changed the subject, broaching the topic of going shopping with you—something you hadn't done together in a while—you could hear the smile playing between her words. It was bright, and when you looked at her, the flash of her teeth and the sweet, reassuring shine in her eye was all it took to convince you to agree. But for now, you were getting coffee, so shopping would have to wait.
Or so you thought. Walking down the wintering streets of New York was no new task to you, but you'd never taken the deepest of time to glance into many of the shop windows. There was one store, however, that had stolen your heart long before any other had the chance when you first moved here, and that was a small retail warehouse with the cutest plushies in the window.
Some were regular stuffed animals, teddy bears, and fluffy dogs that parents would buy their children in the place of a real living pet for Christmas, but they weren't the things that stole your heart. The deep desire you held for the store was due to one thing and one thing only. The Squishmallows that sat in the shop window, all different colours, animals, objects, and sizes. You were absolutely obsessed with the idea of owning one, but one of the plushies, in particular, drew your eyes to it each time you passed the window. It had been there for weeks, the cutest thing you had ever seen, and you were desperate for it. So desperate in fact that you stop in the middle of the street once you reach the store, Kate walking on ahead of you before she realises that she's left you behind.
When she backtracks, standing back at your side with an amused smile, you're snapped out of the trace that the store window had put you in. "Sorry," you mumble taking Kate's hand, "let's go."
You move to talk a step forward, to keep walking toward your trusted coffee shop, when Kate pulls you back to her side. "You want one, don't you?" Her smile is wide as she asks the question, and you don't know if the cold causes the red tint to your cheeks, or if it is in fact, an embarrassed blush.
"No, I was just looking." You tug on her hand again, though your gaze travels back to the window where your eyes lock on that one Squishmallow, staring back at you in the hopes that you will buy it this time. After every passing of the store, it calls to you, that singular plushie, begging you to take it home.
"Which one?" Kate's voice comes again, and you turn back to her, pretending not to long for the thing in the window as much as you truly are.
"What'd you mean?" She's still smiling and as you say it you watch Kate's gaze flicker between you and the window full of toys.
She pulls you closer to the store, an arm around your waist as you both face the glass, looking through its frosted exterior. "Which one do you want?" Her voice is genuine and not mocking at all like you thought it might be. When you look at her, she's eyeing the toys closely, as if examining which one would be best for you.
You give in, and point to the Squishmallow in the corner, the one that had been catching your eye for more than a few weeks. You couldn't believe it hadn't sold yet with how cute it was.
"That one there?" Kate points too as she says it, stepping forward to get a closer look and bringing you with her, arm still around your waist. "It is pretty adorable," She turns her gaze to you at last, her smile still present, "Just like you."
The line is so cheesy that it makes you laugh, but before you can respond Kate is dragging you into the store, the dinging of the entryway bell alerting the man behind the counter of your appearance. He's old, wrinkles covering his face like a crumpled piece of paper or perhaps a well-loved map. He seems kind and smiles as you head over to the toys in the window.
"Kate, no." You try to pull your girlfriend back as she reaches for the toy you'd been ogling previously but Kate's stronger than you are, taking the soft thing in her arms before you can even think to leave the shop.
"You want it?" She takes your hand, placing it on the toy and waiting for your reaction, and as much as you hate people spending money on you, the feeling of the comforting plushie, combined with its cuteness is tempting. You smile when your fingers meet its soft fabric and instantly Kate knows the answer is yes. She brings it up to the counter without a second thought, smiling at the old man.
"We'll take this one, please." He grins back at her, darting his eyes to you and scrunching his nose in approval.
"About time, I've seen you eyeing this cute thing up for about a month now, I kept it on hold just for you."
His statement is alarming and both yours and Kate's eyes widen, though for different reasons. "You've kept this on hold for me this whole time?" Your voice sounds just as shocked as you feel, but Kate buts in before the man can answer, her eyes on you and a frown resting heavily upon her features.
"You've wanted this for a month and didn't tell me? I could have got it ages ago if you'd asked."
All you can do is shrug in response and the old man at the counter lets out a raspy laugh, from the cold air outside or his age, you don't know. "Well, you're getting it now and that's what counts." He rings up the item and hands it back to you as Kate pays, and you thank him profusely for putting the toy on hold. That explains why such a sweet thing hadn't been sold earlier at least, and when you leave the shop, Squishmallow in your arms and a smile on your face, Kate pulls you in for a kiss. It's short and sweet, but it warms you up all the same.
"Thank you." You whisper when you've pulled back from her lips, red swarming your cheeks again. "You're the best girlfriend ever."
Kate lets out a laugh, pulling you a little closer, the Squishmallow between you. "That's all you babe, but I've got to ask the question," The tone in her voice has become serious, and the expression on her face has fallen to become the same, and just as you begin to stress, she speaks again. "What are you going to name it?" She looks down at the plush between your bodies and you kiss her again, thinking of possible answers in your head as you do so. You'll get coffee later and sit and talk about all the things you could call your new prize, and eventually, you'll choose one together. Kate will smile at every option you put forward, her grin widening every time you'll squeeze the toy before taking a sip of your drink. It's been a great morning, and the day can only get better from here.

“My mighty superhero.”
Relationship: Kate Bishop x Reader Drabble Summary: Kate’s late for your coffee date. Word Count: 466 A/N: this is a super short and sweet thing i pumped out to try to get back into the flow of writing. nothing crazy, nothing serious, just a little fluffy fun! trying to get the writing juices flowing again - i’ve been so unmotivated lately!
Masterlist
It was just after four when Kate finally strolled into the coffee shop. She, unsurprisingly, was late and sporting a few new wounds on her lovely face, no doubt soon to be complimented by bruises elsewhere on her body.
You let yourself admire your superhero, badass girlfriend for just a second before waving her over to the table you had saved for you two. Kate smile wildly as she spotted you.
"Hey, babe," Kate muttered as she placed a kiss on your cheek before sitting across from you.
"Hey," you said with a smile as you pushed a cup of coffee towards Kate. You knew her order by heart now. "How’s my favorite superhero doing?"
Your comment made Kate chuckle, a light blush warming her cheeks. "Your favorite superhero is getting her ass kicked in training."
Your brows raised in surprise. "That’s what those cuts are from? Training?"
"Well," Kate muttered as she sipped her coffee, "they may be more from me just being…clumsy."
You smirked. "You sure about that?"
Your girlfriend let out an annoyed huff. "I swear I know how to fight."
"I never doubted that you do—,"
"But doing this full-time is exhausting." She paused. "Do you know how many people commit crimes?"
You let out a laugh as you swallowed a gulp of coffee. "Like, in general?"
"It’s a lot of people, babe," Kate replied with a sigh.
"I’m sure it is," you agreed.
A lull fell over the conversation as Kate’s eye averted to her coffee cup.
"I’m sorry I was late."
Your brows furrowed as you took another sip of coffee. "What are you talking about?
"I know I was late again, babe," Kate reiterated. "And I know you know I was late."
You shook your head, setting your coffee on the table. "Kate, it’s fine. I know you’re busy—,"
"I’m not too busy for our dates, though."
"I know that," you assured her. "But I also know you’re a superhero and you’re gonna be late sometimes." You smirked. "The world needs you, too."
Kate rolled her eyes at your cheesy line but cracked a faint smile. You felt somewhat accomplished by that. You were honored she was so worried about making dates but you knew what you were signing up for. Did you get a bit annoyed or disappointed at times? Sure, but Kate always made it up to you. She’d never let you down, not once.
"My girl needs me more sometimes."
"I don’t think I’m more important than the world."
"But you’re my entire world."
You couldn’t help but laugh at that one. "Now who’s the one being corny?"
Kate’s smile was wide. "I love you," she muttered as she leaned over to steal a kiss.
You hmm’d. "I love you, too, my mighty superhero."

Kate Bishop | Priorities
Summary: Reader comes face-to-face with his girlfriend, whom he hasn't heard from for days.
Kate Bishop x Reader
Warning: Angst, longing, little cries, some tantrums.
***
You were so worried that Kate hadn't returned any of your calls in the past week and her mom was arrested yesterday. You had your eyes and ears on the phone. You've been watching the news channels so much lately that you didn't care about the gangs that spread terror everywhere.
All you wanted was a message that your girlfriend was safe.
Even you yourself were tired of torturing yourself by remembering your last fight.
Your eyes are filled with tears. Your nose twitched again. You thought your tears had already run out. You're so tired and worn out, but you haven't heard from Kate.
You left the balcony floor where you collapsed with a tired sigh. Maybe even if it was Christmas, Kate wouldn't be near her. Your heart clenched and you stood for a moment on the doorframe. You've been beating yourself up for days and thinking of possibilities that should never have occurred to you, but it had never occurred to you. You didn't even give a chance. Because that's not what your Kate does. She was someone who always loved to give her love and attention. She was never a coward, she stood up and never gave up.
But ... what if she gave up?
What if she's gone?
"No, no," you said, trying to console yourself. Blinking your tired and sore eyes, you tried to get rid of the scary scenarios in your mind. "She will be back."
Kate didn't come back that day.
And in the last three days ahead of it.
When Christmas passed, you apologized to your family and made the excuse that you were too busy at work. You also added that you are planning something special with your girlfriend. They never made it a problem since they've known Kate since you were kids, and they invited you both on their next vacation.
'If she's here,' you stipulated. You didn't even know if she was alive or not.
The cops weren't very helpful to you. After people who returned five years after the blip, there were so many reports of missing persons that no one was even going to be given priority. Of course you were pissed that Kate wasn't on the priority line, but there was nothing you could do. She was all you could do, she.
In your shared flat, the house actually belongs to Kate, it had been a day or so since she had packed some of her belongings into the suitcases. You never gave up on Kate, but standing in a house full of her memories for twenty-four hours was torture. Also, the thought of her leaving you was growing stronger with each passing hour. You just hoped she wouldn't at least do it unawares. Even though she was never like that in all the long years you've known, you both became different people as you grew up. Maybe it was because of her college friends; Could she have hit her head? But you talked to all her friends. Maybe it was because your last fights were so violent? But each time you won each other's hearts.
God... Then why? Why hasn't your girlfriend been around for the last week and a half?
Didn't you do anything? Or have you done something wrong? Forgot to take out the trash? Did you hurt her? Did he think she had given up on him?
Or ... Did something happen to her?
Your heart is tight, you tightened the cabinet doors you were holding. The scattered image you could see in the mirror made you grimace. You looked awful. You're so devoted to finding Kate that you can't even remember if you ate a few hours ago. You didn't eat. Your weight dropped, your face sunk, and you always felt sad. Maybe you didn't realize that much until now, but Kate was the center of your life. She was by your side all your childhood. You grew up with it.
But she is no more.
You sighed.
You took your backpack from your bed, which had been tidy for days, and started pulling the suitcase that had been standing by the door. You didn't want to leave here, but the loneliness began to feel very difficult.
You closed doors that you left open. You're starting to check the windows for the last time. As you walked towards the hall, you heard low voices. Your heart pounded with fear and excitement. Could it have been Kate? Then who was the other person? You tried to maintain your composure.
Kate, who was arguing quietly with Clint, watched your arrival with longing. You stood at the entrance, looking at her expressionlessly. Kate wasn't used to you acting this way. However, she missed you so much that your actions did not go unnoticed. "Baby," she started to pace you.
But suddenly you took a step back, glaring at her sternly. At the same time, you didn't understand what you were doing. Kate hesitated at your movement. "Hold back." You said calmly.
"I know it's very confusing, but I'll explain everything to you-"
"I'm going,"
"You wouldn't believe what happened with Clint - What?" She didn't hesitate. "What do you mean I'm going?"
Your eyes touched the man she called Clint for a few seconds. "You stay with Clint. I mean, I'm going." You said keeping your calm. You weren't sure what to feel. "I'm sorry about your mother. Really. And if you have time, give my family some excuses, please."
"Y/N,"
"Thanks, Kate. Anyway. Nothing matters anymore, right? Besides, there's no excuse for me lying at the police station for a week and a half thinking something happened to you, right?" You mocked. "Oh, or it could be. I'm not worth it after all, huh?"
She gasped for thinking that way. Clint turned to Kate, realizing that the two of you were going to have a private conversation. "I'll be waiting downstairs." He left saying.
You looked behind the man with your mocking eyes. Besides being with the former Avengers member for weeks instead of being with you, she had even seen a message a lot. You couldn't forget that you slept in police stations at night. It's not that easy.
"Honey, I understand that you are angry." Kate began, but couldn't go on when you laughed nervously. Being angry? She really couldn't think that she was just angry. Disappointment burned all her cells. Weren't you justified in being angry?
"Anger? You think I'm angry?" You said with your voice getting louder. "Am I really angry? I've been running around for you for days, dead or alive, to find you. Just texting me was all it took."
"Everything happened so fast and dangerous. I didn't have time to tell anyone, I couldn't communicate with anyone."
"Then how did they arrest your mother?" ' you asked in a calmer tone. You weren't sure how to feel. Even being angry made you tired. Kate was tiring you out right now. Even if you're going crazy with longing, you can't ignore the part where you were wronged.
She didn't answer. Kate pushed you out of there as she started to put heroism at the center of her life. She didn't notice that. Right and wrong became the only thing that mattered to her as she faced the hero she had followed for years and fought back to back. Kate didn't really realize it, but she would understand that it was losing you. She had to set new priorities while you held her before her. Especially if he's going to keep doing this.
"I'm going, Katie," you said softly. You gripped your suitcase tightly and supported yourself from within. "Maybe it's your turn to think."

Silent Treatment- Kate Bishop
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kate Bishop x Reader
Characters: Kate Bishop
Warnings: N/A
Request: Anon- Hi, are you taking requests right now? If so could I request female (avenger?) Reader giving Kate Bishop the silent treatment one-shot??
Word Count: 488
Author: Charlotte
“Come on Y/N,” Kate huffed. “Talk to me.”
You rotated yourself in your seat to turn your back to your girlfriend as you had been repeatedly doing over the last quarter of an hour. Although as a whole you loved Kate dearly, she had annoyed you beyond reason currently and the silent treatment seemed like a fitting punishment for her. It wasn’t something you pulled from your arsenal often, but it was certainly one of the most effective ways to get your point across to Kate.
An exasperated sign escaped Kate, frustration consuming her. Maybe it was immature for you to keep up the silent treatment, but you couldn’t deny the amusement you felt when it came to riling up Kate. Her annoyance had finally bubbled up to her tipping point and she was going to retaliate with an equally heinous response.
Without warning, she leapt on top of you, forcing herself into your lap so that there was no way for you to turn around from her this time- you’d have no choice but to face her. Kate began her onslaught on your sides, tickling you without any remorse. You screamed out for help between pained laughs, no longer able to be silent, rather having to beg her to release you from her heartless attacks.
“Are you going to talk to me?” Kate asked, using her body weight and position to pin you down onto the sofa without any way to escape.
“Whatever,” you screeched. “Let me go.”
She offered you benevolence and stopped tickling you but continued to sit on top of you to make sure that she could restart attacking you at any moment if you didn’t comply with her terms.
“It’s really stupid that you’ve refused to talk to me all day,” she frowned.
“I haven’t got anything to say to you,” you said, scrunching up your nose at her. “You know what you did.”
Kate rolled her eyes at you. “I don’t get why you’re mad at me. I got a chance to be a superhero, it was hardly something I could pause and come get you first.”
Your eyes darted away from hers. It may have been petty, but it was something that had bothered you more than it should have. The two of you had been enamoured with the avengers and how much good they did, you had had dreams that you would be able to do the same and she had been able to live that dream without you.
“I’m not annoyed that you got to be a superhero, I’m annoyed that you didn’t even consider me being your sidekick.”
She laughed, moving a hand to cup your cheek.
“Honey, I was the sidekick. I could hardly have one of my own.”
“I’m still annoyed,” you pouted.
Kate pressed a gentle kiss to your forehead. “I promise next time I get to be a superhero I’ll give you a call.”

Masterlist
The spring breeze blew through her bangs as she bounded up the stairs leading to the New Avengers Tower with Lucky in tow. One successful morning run later and they were both ready to refuel before going about their day. Lucky especially had a very busy day ahead of himself, chasing any bird that dared set foot on the balcony.
Once they were inside the elevator, Kate kneeled and took off his leash scratching the back of his ear playfully as he lifted his snout upwards to sniff her chin. She stood as the elevator was coming to a stop and Lucky barked, wagging his tail as he stared at the door. As soon as the doors opened he ran straight towards the kitchen making Kate laugh as she tucked the loose strands of hair behind her ears and followed his lead.
“No pizza for you this morning bud, I’m sorry. Your uncle Pete ate the last one.”
“Kate Bishop you are laaate.” Yelena sang as she walked into the room.
Kate turned around, brows furrowed in confusion as she watched her take a seat at the counter, “Late?”
“Yes, late. You know, the opposite of early, as in not on time” Yelena explained, picking an apple out of the fruit bowl in front of her and tossing it in the air.
“I know what late means you Russian ball of sarcasm,” Kate huffed, taking the seat across from her. “I’m just a little unsure what I’m late for.”
“Oh dear,” Yelena tutted, shaking her head. “Kate Bishop, you are impossible.”
“What… what does that mean exactly?” Kate leaned closer, her expression confused and head tilted to the left trying to catch Yelena’s squirrelly gaze. “We talked about this. Straight forward, clear, concise conversation topics.”
“We also spoke about using your big girl voice,” Yelena quipped, her eyes finally dipping to meet Kate’s.  “And you my pretty plum, have not used your big girl voice on Zara.”
“That was a secret! What did you do—” Kate leans further in, her voice dropping an octave. She’s tried to hide the crush she really has but Yelena was quick and Kate’s tongue always seemed to tie itself in knots around the new recruit. No matter how much she practiced in the mirror her words always came out backwards.
“Yelena no scheming. Please. I can’t! We talked about this too!” Lucky barked in response.
“We talk about a lot of things, you don’t talk enough to Zara. So I am leaving,” Yelena smirks. “I am taking MJ and Kamala with me so you are alone. It’s a perfect… scheme,” she smiles brighter, showing her pretty teeth.
“No. No no no no,” She jumped out of her chair and began to pace as she protested, “no. NO. I am not on training duties today first of all and- and just no. You can’t just spring this on me, Leen.”
“Oh, but you are and I did,” The blonde stated matter-of-factly before she stood and walked over to Kate. Placing her hands on either side of her face before she pressed their foreheads together. Her green eyes bore into Kate’s, serving as a slice of calm amidst the growing heap of nerves in her stomach.
“You are going to be fine, you need to relax and you need to stop avoiding her,” she pulled back from her with a soft smile on her lips and scrunched her nose, “fix your hair a little bit though and hurry, it is not nice to be late.”
“I hate you,” Kate whispered through her teeth, her eyes wide with panic.
“You won’t,” Yelena hummed, backing away from her friend and towards the door.
“I will. Forever. I’ll get you back for this Belova.”
“Yeah? What will you do Kate Bishop? Glare at me?”
“I’ll…I’ll…cut holes in all your pockets. I’ll swap out your hot sauce with ketchup. I’ll…” a look of triumph crossed her face. “I’ll tell Clint!”
Yelena doubled over with laughter and dramatically wiped pretend tears from her eyes.
“You’re funny Kate Bishop.” Then her face turned serious. “Go and train with Zara. Now.”
Yelena turned and headed towards the door. “Fanny, come,” she whistled, and the floofy American Akita rose from her place under the table, cast a disdainful side eye in Kate’s direction, and then followed her mistress out of the door.
Kate stood there and chewed on the inside of her cheek, staring out into the hallway for a minute, trying to both calm the butterflies that had taken over her belly and come up with her revenge plan. Spending the afternoon with Zara didn't sound like the worst idea, but it was the amount of ways she could embarrass herself in the gym that had her worried. She already made a fool of herself every time she tried to speak to her.
The brunette huffed out a breath and turned to look at her reflection in the glass window. She pulled her hair out of its place on top of her head and ran her fingers through it quickly before combing it back into a secure pony.
With a small hum, she turned to the golden retriever lying quietly in the corner, "Lucky, why don't you go train and I'll stay here and take a nap?"
Lucky wagged his tail and barked in response, snapping his teeth playfully.
"Fine, I'm goin-" her words cut off when she saw another avenger walking down the hall and an idea sparked quickly, "Hey Sam! What are you doing? Are you going to the gym? Listen I think I might have strained something on my-"
Sam put his hand up with a laugh and shook his head as he kept walking towards the elevator, "Yelena filled me in already, you're on your own. Buck and I have a mission. The training duties are yours, Bishop! Aren't you late?" he called back.
Kate spun with a nervous huff and picked up her pace. She was moving so fast that when she stumbled past Peter hunched over a desk full of scrap metal she barely had time to stop as she slammed into the door frame.
Peter jumped and metal flew everywhere. She watched it soar through the air before his hands reached out and scooped everything into his chest nervously before it hit the ground.  He swallowed tightly and set it back on the table. “A little warning next time,” he whined, organizing all the parts again.
“Do you wanna—”
“Nope,” he answered before she asked.
“But what if I—”
“Not gonna happen,” he said without looking up.
“What did she threaten you with I can—”
“No way. Last time I helped after Yel told me not to, she shrunk all my suits in the washing machine and turned all my socks pink!” He said with the shake of his head, his curly brown hair bouncy from the movement. “Besides you can do this, you’re an avenger!” He finally looked up at her, his eyes confident and encouraging.
“Right,” Kate chewed her lip, “thanks Pete,” she said, turning to walk away but before she left she stuck her head back in the door. “What are you building?”
“Oh a bomb,” he beamed with pride as if he hadn’t just almost blown up the west wing of the Avengers building not minutes before.
Lucky barked at her feet, just as nervous as she was.
“I’m going to go…” she nodded with a grimace. “I’m late…”
“Good luck!” She heard him call after her as she darted down the hall.
Kate made her way to the stairs deciding they’d likely be faster than waiting for the elevator seeing as the usual training session should have started fifteen minutes ago. She raced down to the basement floor faster than she ever had in her life. Well, she probably ran faster when Yelena was mad but that was a totally different running motivation than right now and her mind was racing just as fast if not more in the anticipation of seeing her.
Her heart pounded against her ribcage as she jumped the last two steps and ran to the training room door. She pulled it open and went inside, her heavy breaths catching in her throat when she saw Zara stretching her legs on the mat.
She looked up through her lashes at Kate and smiled brightly, the playful twinkle that always seemed to be in her eyes when Kate was in the room even more noticeable to the brunette now that they were alone.
“Hi Kate,” she purred, “just us today?”
Kate gulped, eyes wide and feeling slightly light headed. She couldn't figure out if it was from the running or from butterflies causing a storm in her belly from the way the pretty– prettiest girl was looking at her.
Maybe she'd been quiet a little too long because suddenly Zara was coming closer, her sweet rose perfume filling Kate's lungs. A playful grin on her face as she questioned with a raised brow, "Katie?"
“Pretty…I mean sorry! Lorry I’m sate. No! I mean…sorry I’m late! Shit!” Kate fumbled, her face going redder by the second as Zara’s eyes crinkled in amusement.
“Not a problem. If it was anyone else I’d have left already but for you I’ll make an exception. Did you run here just for little old me?” She winked.
Kate imagined she looked like that emoji, the one that was melting onto the floor. Her face flamed and not just from her run to the training room.
“Maybe,” she mumbled, looking anywhere but at the woman she’d harboured a raging crush on since the moment she’d first set eyes on her.
Zara's little giggle escaped her lips and made Kate's heart flutter. She'd just walked into the room and already it was harder to breathe. Her bold, sweet personality took over any room she was in; it was one of the things Kate loved about her.
"Well consider me flattered," Zara scrunched up her nose and lept up to her feet, "what are we training today, boss?"
Kate cleared her throat, and shook her head once, bringing herself back to the present and away from Zara's sparkling blue eyes, "We're uh, we're working on - hand to hand combat," she stuttered.
"Up close and personal?" Zara reached out brushing a hand against Kate's wrist and tugging the extra elastic she had over her hand onto her fingers, "can I borrow this? I forgot mine!"
"Ok," Kate nodded, whispering the word over and over again as she tried to remember the other twenty four letters in the alphabet. She watched as Zara tugged her soft, shoulder length hair up into a ponytail, exposing the long curve of her neck. Kate's bow fingers twitched at her side, itching to touch Zara skin in a way that didn't involve training or combat.
"Kate?" Zara said, her eyes wide as she waited for Kate to come back to earth.
Her head had tilted to the side and she could feel herself drifting into la la land with every smile and touch. I can't do this, she thought, panicking for a moment. And then she remembered what Clint had taught her. She could be brave, hell, she was a god damn Avenger...avenger in training...
"Katie," Zara laughed, reaching out to take her hand, she pulled her into the center of the mat, "you're doing that inner monologue thing again."
“What? I don’t d-” she argued only to be interrupted by a soft squeeze to her hand.
“You do do that, but I think it’s cute.” She pulled her bottom lip between her teeth slightly before she smiled, brushing her thumb across Kate’s knuckles as she let go of her hand slowly.
Kate felt the heat creep up her neck, unable to rip her eyes away from hers and longing for the feel of her skin on hers once more. Thoughts of how the graze of her thumb could feel against her lips set her nerves ablaze but she shook them out of her head before breaking her gaze away from hers.
“I- um, thanks. Ok, are you good to start then?”
“I am, yes” she laughed, “Are you? I know you went for a run but if you need help stretching I’m all for it.”
Kate could feel the blush deepen on her cheeks as heat spread through her face at the thought of Zara helping her stretch, touching her with a purpose. It was enough of a struggle, the little grazes of skin here and there but willingly putting herself under the hands of the woman she was pining over was another thing entirely.
"Uh no– no thank you, I'm all warmed up," she answered dumbly. Watching as a grin took over Zara's face as she took a couple of steps back, took a stance and fixed Kate with a smouldering look as she gestured to her confidently with a come hither motion with her fingers.
"Alright then. Gimme you best, Katie."
“Ok, well I guess we, umm, we should start with, umm…”
“Are you always this articulate?” Zara laughed.
“Just punch me,” Kate forced out through her clenched jaw, “and put me out of my misery,” she finished under her breath.
Zara complied with a swift one-two, keeping her guard up. Kate dodged the swings easily despite being distracted by the way Zara’s lithe frame moved so fluidly.
“Again,” she nodded, indicating for Zara to continue.
Luckily, the concentration of combat quickly took over most Kate's mind as Zara's fist went flying by her face once more. Kate dodged back as she was lunged at, swinging her own hand but she was caught by surprise as Zara grasped her wrist loosely and spun her into her body, holding Kate's free wrist tight against her stomach.
Kate was convinced that Zara could feel the hammering of her heart as the two of them paused and breathed heavily.
"Now what?" Zara mused against Kate's ear.
Through her fuzzy thoughts, Kate swallowed thickly and thought for a second, "That was - good," she muttered, "now you have to stop me from getting free," as soon as the words left her mouth she regretted them. She could have stayed there all day with Zara's arms wrapped around her and her lips brushing the shell of her ear.
Zara didn't waste a moment securing her hold on Kate, brushing her leg out in a sweeping movement; they both rolled through the movement and tumbled to the ground in a pile. Kate rolled beneath her, hoping to get her legs up into her stomach to put space between them but Zara was swift and pushed her legs away before getting control and flattening them against the back.
"What the hell," Kate groaned, dizzy from the tumbling. Zara's leg's pinned Kate to the mat, squeezing tightly as she wiggled beneath her to get free but she was stuck, defeated and embarrassed.
"Lenny taught me that one!" Zara beamed proudly, fixing Kate's hands above her head and leaning over until their faces were inches apart.
"I don't know if I'm upset over the fact that she taught you that and not me, or the fact that she lets you call her Lenny," Kate fought to control her breathing and her lips. Her chin tilting upward against her will and into the gravitational pull of Zara.
She watched Zara’s eyes admiring the green flecks in her iris as she looked down, head slightly tilted almost like she was studying her. Kate took a steadying breath as she felt the hold on her wrists soften, unwilling to let herself get distracted by the brush of their chests together, she pulled her arms down and finally broke her wrists out of her hold. She pushed her legs open until she was able to cross her leg over her calf pushing her weight off the mat and rolling the over until she was on top of Zara pinning her hands down.
The tips of their noses brushed together when she leaned forward to move Zara’s hands up.
“Your hold faltered, I told you not to let me get free.”
Zara smirked beneath her, blue eyes narrowing playfully, “are you? how do you know I didn’t just want you in this position?”
“You should have…wait, what?!” Kate spluttered, completely discombobulated.
A throaty chuckle from the woman pinned below her sent Kate’s brain spiralling.
“You were saying?” Zara teased, her lips raising in a lopsided smile.
“I was?” Kate asked dazedly.
“Yeah, we’re training, remember? I’m lying here eagerly awaiting your instruction.”
“Holy shit.” Kate whispered, not even sure whether it was out loud.
Letting out a deep breath, Kate sat back on her haunches quickly before standing up over Zara and extending her hand to help her up. She knew there were ways that she could have taught Zara to retaliate and get her back, but the thought of rolling around on the mat with the girl made her brain malfunction and she couldn't remember anything other than the small fleck of navy blue that sat at the top of Zara's right iris.
Their fingers tangled together as Kate pulled Zara from the mat, electricity shooting up her arm at the smallest touch. She turned abruptly when her sparring partner was firmly on her feet and walked over to her water, pulling off the cap.
"You're doing a lot better," she complimented before chugging back the last of her.
Zara giggled and swiped her tongue along her bottom lip as she stepped beside Kate, following suit with her water, "Well I've had a pretty good coach," she winked as she sipped at her drink before setting it down again on the bench.
Watching the way her throat bobbed when she swallowed, the brunette realized how hard she was staring and whipped her head back to stare at the wall in front of them, squeezing her eyes shut for just a moment, "I - yeah, Yelena is a really good teacher, she uh -"
"I meant you, Katie," Zara commented quietly, nudging her hip into Kate's and brushing their arms lightly together.
She felt Zara's fingers dance between her own at their sides as if she might tangle them together and hold on but she spun away and grabbed her bottle of water again from the bench against the wall, taking a swig of it before handing it out to Kate.
"What," Zara's nose scrunched up and Kate's chest got warmer, "afraid of my cooties?"
"No," Kate grabbed the bottle, and drowned all the words she did want to say with water. She turned away from Zara but the rookie didn't like that and skipped around her, bringing her big beautiful eyes back in view.  She felt her cheeks flush again, looking up to the clock that hung above the training room. "I know I was late but-" she started.
"Time's up?" Zara finished. "Feels like time always moves a little faster when you're in here with me." She said and Kate's world tipped a little further off its axis then it already was. "I just mean..." Zara started and stopped. "It's my turn to fumble my words I guess," she laughed, "I really like having you as a teacher," she smiled at her.
Kate's eyes widened at her words before shaking her head and shrugging trying to play off the butterflies exploding in her chest.
"Th--thanks, I uh.. I mean.. you--" A laugh bubbled from her throat as Zara brought her fingers to her lips hiding the growing smile, "you make a good student." The last words came out rushed as she sucked in a breath taking another swig from her bottle and silently cursing herself. You can't just play it cool, can you Bishop.
Zara took a step towards her, slowly peeling the bottle from her fingers, "Thanks." Her voice was a whisper and her eyes glued to Kate's as she brought the bottle to her lips. Kate watched as she took a drink, her perfect lips wrapping around the mouth of the bottle before her eyes dragged to where her throat worked to swallow the liquid. Zara's skin gleamed from sweat with the midday sun shining through the gym windows and only spurred on the tornado of wings in her stomach.
Kate gulped in tandem with Zara, her tongue swiping out to moisten her bottom lip.
“I guess we should c-call it a day then,” she stammered, unable to tear her eyes away from the woman before her.
“That’s a shame,” Zara hummed, “I could have done that all day.”
She locked eyes with Kate for a second, the air growing thick around them, before both of them burst into peals of laughter.
“I think that line has been done already,” Kate grinned, nudging her shoulder into Zara.
Their small laughs filled the gym and the two girls stood there, smiling softly at each other. Kate's hazel eyes danced around Zara's features, taking in every inch she could. The way the dimple on her left cheek was slightly deeper than the right, the small freckle that kissed the skin at the base of her jaw, the soft crinkles at the side of her eyes when she smiled so brightly she lit up the whole of New York.
Her breath caught in her throat and Kate cleared it away, "I have to - go feed Lucky..." She mumbled, pulling her lips into a thin line as she spun slowly and walked quickly to the gym doors.
"Thanks for your help today, Kate!" Zara's voice faded as the door shut behind her and Kate pressed herself onto the cold stone wall, letting the feeling wash over her. She bit the inside of her cheek to stop the grin that threatened to take over her lips and she shook her head.
I guess it could have been worse, she thought to herself, finally heading back down the hallway and making her way upstairs.
The hallway was empty when she stepped out onto the floor but she could hear Yelena and  Kamala laughing in the common room. "You best run little Kamala, I can feel her storm from here," Yelena teased and Before Kate even rounded the corner, the door to Kamala's door clicked shut.
"What happened?" Yelena leaned against the red backed couch and crossed her legs, her fingers digging into a bag of pretzels.
"I made a fool of myself," Kate sunk into the couch beside her and grabbed a pretzel, popping it into her mouth only to spit it directly out onto her hand. "Those are disgusting and hotter than the fires of Mordor."
"The what?" Yelena's brows scrunched up in confusion.
"Nevermind, she was flirting with me," Kate sighed, "she was flirting and I called time on class. I sent her away!" She put her face in her hands and groaned loudly.
Yelena threw back her head and laughed, "let me get this straight little arrow."
Kate peeled her hands from her face and glanced up at her.
"She flirted with you and instead of--" Yelena waved her hand in the air, "rolling around on the floor with the girl, you sent her away?"
"I couldn't breathe around her Leen." Kate admitted, "every time I looked at her I got distracted by those big doe eyes." her voice trailed off at the end. She really really really wanted to roll around more but she also knew herself and Kate Bishop was anything but smooth.
Yelena watched her for a moment before popping another pretzel in her mouth, "You know what I think you should do?"
Kate glanced up at her again waiting for whatever advice she had.
"Tell her how you feel!" She laughed, "it's really not that hard."
"That's easy for you to say. Every time I talk to her, my words get jumbled and I turn into Parker trying to tell Bucky a story."
“Come on Kate Biiiiishop, it can’t be that bad!” Yelena urged, wrapping her arm around Kate’s neck and pulling her into a side hug.
“I swear Leena, every time I see her I turn into a total wreck with the worst verbal diarrhoea. I need to be locked up or something.” Kate groaned, turning her head into her friend’s shoulder.
“Does she know you are interested in bondage?”
Kate shoved backwards, looking at Yelena in horror. “That’s not…I didn’t mean…”
“My God, Kate Bishop. I am fucking with you!” Yelena chuckled, rolling her eyes. “But seriously, just talk to her. Tell her how you feel.”
"You know not to do that when I'm in this state, Belova!" Kate whined, leaning back on the couch and throwing her arm over her eyes, "What if she doesn't -"
Laughter echoed through the hallway as Zara and America rounded the corner into the living space, "Hey guys we were thinking of ordering a - sorry did we interrupt something?" Zara questioned, looking between Yelena and a very surprised Kate as she sat up and stared at the blonde next to her.
"Not at all, Kate Bishop here was just telling me about your training session," Yelena mused with a playful smirk, turning her gaze to meet Kate's shocked eyes, "something about ending up on top of you... she said you did good work"
Kate could feel the heat creeping up her neck as she continued to stare daggers at her best friend. This couldn't be happening. Her heart thumped in her chest and she felt frozen, unable to turn around and meet her crush’s eyes.
Zara scrunched up her nose and shook her head with a smile, "Yeah well Kate's a good coach, we did have fun today with it though," she winked and linked her arm with the brunette's beside her.
"Anyway!" America chimed in, "We were going to order shawarma for dinner, Peter already offered to pick it up as he's swinging by, are you guys in?"
"We are," Yelena answered for them. "But Bishop needs to go over your performance review first," she clapped a hand on Kate's back as Zara looked between them all trying to figure out what the hell was going on. "Go now," Yelena clapped and yelled a little louder.
Kate inhaled slowly, as she started to walk toward her room she turned and out of Zara's sight she gave Yelena a dirty look, I'm going to kill you she mouthed and this only made the black widow laugh.
"You can come in here," Kate opened her door.
Zara spun in a lazy circle taking in all the decorations that Kate had used, during the summer most of the younger avengers stayed on the compound like camp but less outhouses and more guns. Kate had put up posters and photos of the original Avengers, to hype herself up and remind herself why she was here but as Zara took it all in she suddenly felt like a little kid.
"So what's this really about?" Zara looked at her, she had let her hair down and was picking at the elastic around her wrist.
Kate’s heart fluttered at the sight, there it was her nervous tick. It was one of those little things that you wouldn’t notice if you didn’t pay attention or didn’t really know a person. But Kate saw her.
She saw it the first time she set foot in the tower and it was one of the things Kate liked most about her. She’d take a breath, flick her hair tie a few times to ground herself and keep talking like nothing had happened.
Zara was the embodiment of the word confidence and she had the ability to turn Kate into a babbling mess with just saying the word “hi” but deep inside she seemed to be just as nervous of being in her presence as her.
Kate let out a nervous laugh before she moved closer to Zara, come on Bishop, it’s now or never. She took her hands in hers and led her over to the edge of the bed urging her to follow her lead as she sat. She tapped her finger against Zara’s knuckle before she lifted her gaze up to hers.
“Ok just, bare with me yeah?”
Zara's brows kissed as she studied Kate's face. "Okay..." She said softly, her hand only squeezing Kate's fingers as if silently urging her.
Kate watched her, sucking in a breath as the four million things she wanted to say scrambled in her head. How was she going to start this? What if she didn't feel the same. Her eyes slid shut and felt Zara's hand pull from hers and delicate fingers rest on the edge of her jaw. "Kate?"
Her hazel eyes flew open. You can do this.
"Would you..." She paused, feeling her heart slam against her chest, "I just- I really," she paused again, sighing as the words once again became jumbled. Zara's thumb trailed along her chin, stopping just below her lip sending fireworks through Kate. "I really like you." She rushed out. "I really really like you." Kate let out a breathy laugh at the ridiculousness of how quickly she said it.
Blue eyes stayed glued to her, as Zara sat there silently for a moment, a soft smile gracing her beautifully pink lips. Kate couldn't help as her eyes flickered down to them, doing anything she could to gauge the reaction she was about to hear. The deafening silence almost making things worse for her while she chewed on her cheek and tried to stop herself from oversharing. It was a bad habit Kate knew she had, continuing to talk when the other person hadn't spoken but in this moment, most words that would have made sense leaked from her mind and they were left with quiet.
Zara's smile grew into a playful smirk as her hand moved to cup Kate's cheek fully, running her thumb over her skin and keeping her gaze held, "It's about time..." she whispered, leaning in slightly and tilting her head.
"Wha - you knew?" Kate questioned, trying to steady her breathing as the tips of their noses brushed.
She giggled softly, moving her other fingertips up Kate's arm to rest on the side of her neck, "Yelena isn't very subtle," Zara admitted, swiping her tongue over her bottom lip, "are you going to kiss me, or not?"
Kate let out a breath, a beat of confidence surging through her as she leaned forward and pressed their lips softly together, taking Zara's top lip between hers. The swarm of butterflies in her body only seemed to get worse in the best way possible, and for the first time all day, every thought in her mind was clear.
"I really really like you too by the way," Zara pulled back and whispered quickly before smiling into another deep kiss.
"Finally," Yelena's voice floated through the door followed by a soft kick from her boot. "I've been waiting out here for ages, Kate Bishop."
"We talked about the eavesdropping Yelena!" Kate sighed, as she pressed her forehead against Zara's, "I'm sorry."
"Don't be, it's a win for her too. Six hundred dollars give or take," Zara shrugged with a laugh, snaking her hand fully around her neck and pulling her back for another kiss before Kate could protest.
The kiss sent sparks through her chest and into her toes as Zara leaned up to deepen the kiss. Her tongue slid easily across Kate's bottom lip and into her mouth without hesitation as they tangled together. Two becoming one. Kate wrapped her arms around Zara and giggled against her lips, enjoying every second of it far too much. She had finally gotten the girl, and she couldn't get enough.
She slid her hands down Zara's back resting them on her hips, her hold on her firm as pushed herself off the bed just a touch and lifted her further onto the bed. She felt Zara kick her shoes off under her before pushing her heel down on the mattress to aid her.
The pads of her fingers dug into Kate's skin as she smiled into the kiss and deepened it further pulling her down with her. Kate pulled away, releasing her lip with a pop. As they caught their breath, Zara tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Is this what you actually wanted to do during that training session, Bishop?"
Kate licked her bottom lip, bringing it between her teeth. "Can I plead the fifth on that one?" She asked lowly, dragging her fingers up Zara's side.
She felt Zara squirm beneath her at the slight touch along her ribcage forcing a giggle from the both of them, "not this time Katie." Zara's hand wrapped around the back of Kate's neck tugging her down to her again as their lips touched. "Ticklish?" Kate asked against her mouth, "interesting."
Zara tilted her head back and laughed giving Kate full access to her neck. She took full advantage and dipped her head, pressing chaste kisses along the column of her soft skin until she reached her pulse point.
"Is this part of my review?" Zara groaned.
"If you want it to be." Kate smirked.
A playful grin graced Zara's lips as she let a short whimper escape, "look who's miss confident now..." she commented, tangling her fingers into Kate's hair and arching her back into her touch.
In truth, Kate was no less nervous now than she was before, but her sense seemed to have taken over, allowing her to move just as far as Zara would let her and take what she'd been longing for for months. The feeling of her soft skin against her lips, her fit body shuddering beneath her from her touch, it was more than Kate had allowed herself to imagine.
Kate ghosted her lips over Zara's throat and across her jaw, to pull her earlobe between her teeth, "only for you," she whispered, moving her lips back to attach to Zara's. Her hand skated farther up her side and rested on her ribs, fingertips digging just enough into her skin as her thumb drew small circles into her, pulling another whine from her girl's lips.
Kate pulled back breathlessly, admiring Zara's kiss stained lips and big glossy eyes, "I have been waiting weeks to do that," Kate confessed, "from the moment I saw you walk into the Avengers compound. I swear my heart started beating in a new pattern around you, that's how nervous you make me and now," she paused, resting their foreheads together.
"Keep going Katie," she urged, watching her with a patient, loving expression.
"Now I have you all to myself and I don't know where to start, what to kiss, how to tell you, it's all one big mess."
"How about I start?" Zara offered.
"Please," she whispered against her lips, eyes fluttering closed when Zara pressed her lips to hers tenderly.
Zara's lips twitched into a smile against hers before she rolled them over on the bed, a huff escaping Kate's lips as her head hit the mattress. She settled atop Kate's lap, fingers dancing up her stomach and chest as widened pupils amidst a sea of blue stared back down at her.
"I think," she began, pressing a kiss to the exposed skin of Kate's stomach, "you are the most amazing," she continued pressing kisses to every bit of unclothed skin she could find as she made her way up her chest with her lips, her hands following closely.
Electricity shot up through Kate's body and her breaths grew heavier in anticipation.
"Woman I have ever laid eyes on, Kate Bishop." she declared, leaving a trail of wet kisses up her neck. Her lips hovered at her ear as her thumbs grazed the hem of her sports bra.
"Tell me when to stop, Katie." she whispered, sending a shiver up Kate's spine.
Kate brought a hand to her neck, urging her to look her way, "Don't stop, please Z."
They smiled at each other before Zara leaned down her lips grazing Kate's slowly, "I've been waiting for you too, and as grateful as I am that we’re finally in this moment... I would wait forever more if you asked me to."
Kate brushed her thumb down her neck before taking her lips in hers. They swallowed each other's moans as Zara's hands continued studying her body deepening their kiss. Kate settled her free hand on the back of her thigh squeezing playfully at her taut skin.
The screech of the door hinge stopped them before Peter's voice sounded through the room, "Food's here guys! OH- oh god I'm so sorry guys I didn't- I should have knocked, I just thought- You did it Kate! Well, not that I mean I don't know right-"
Both girls turned their heads, a snicker slipping from Zara's lips as Kate squeezed her eyes shut, "Pete!"
"Sorry, sorry. Leaving now." he rushed, hands up in surrender.
Their laughs filled the room as the door closed once more. Kate's fingers traced figures absentmindedly at Zara's side as she stared into her eyes, committing every second of this moment between them to memory.
"We should probably go eat." she said with a playful pout on her lips.
Zara pulled her bottom lip down with the pad of her thumb and she pressed her forehead against hers, "Fine, but we have unfinished business Bishop, don't leave me hanging."
Kate smiled and pressed a kiss to her finger, heart hammering against her chest at the thought of everything that was to come between them after today.
"I wouldn't dream of it, sunshine.”

Lucky The Pizza Dog: Kate Bishop-
“Come on boy, we need to hurry and meet Clint before we’re late.” Kate attempted to encourage her furry companion along the streets of New York, but Lucky wasn’t having it.
She was on her way to Clint’s Hotel, having agreed to have dinner with him, Laura and the kids whilst they were visiting.
It wasn’t like Lucky to behave this way, usually he was very good at listening, never being a problem on their daily walks. Though recently he has taken up the habit of stopping at a certain alleyway round the corner from Kate’s new apartment.
She gives his lead a few light tugs to get his attention, “Come on Luck, good boy, this way”. Lucky chose to ignore his owner, and continued to stare down the alleyway. Kate followed his line of sight, wondering if something was bothering him. There wasn’t anything she could see from a distance, and if she had more time she would happily go with him to investigate.
“Alright, that’s it, ‘Sir Dog Of Pizza’, time to board the ‘Bishop Express’.” Kate bent down to Lucky’s level and scooped him from the ground, much to his protest. After some slight squirming, he decided to rest his head on her shoulder and let out a whine, “I know, I know we can check it out another time okay buddy”.
Kate picked up her pace eager to make up for lost time.
Once she reached the corner of the Hotel, she placed Lucky down on the floor, to which he started to walk.
Once Lucky made eye contact with the Barton’s, his tail wagged uncontrollably and he started to bark in excitement.
“Who is it, who is that boy, go on, go see.” Kate checked her surroundings to see if it was safe enough to let Lucky off of his lead. Once free from his lead, he sprinted the short distance to Clint and jumped up eagerly for cuddles, to which Clint gladly reciprocated.
“Hey fella, how have you been? Yeah, yeah I missed you too bud,” Clint gave Lucky one big rub across his body; then walked away to talk to Kate.
Laura, Cooper, Lila and Nathaniel eagerly took over the cuddle duty to Lucky, smothering him in love.
“Better late than never Bishop.” Clint playfully said to Kate.
Kate scrunched her face in awkwardness, “Sorry, Lucky got distracted on the way, so we got held back a bit”.
“Well I’m just glad you’re here, it’s your turn to pick the Restaurant tonight. Come on, the kids have been dying to see you”.
The matter of the alleyway quickly left Kate’s mind after that as she spent time with what she considers to be her Second Family.

A few days had passed since Kate met up with the Barton’s.
It was midday, and this time she was on her way to meet Yelena and Fanny for a puppy play-date at the local dog park. Lucky of course was in attendance, meaning they were back in the same situation as they were a few days ago. Kate was hesitant in taking the same route as the other night with him, but she thought it might have just been a one off, ‘maybe he saw a rat or something and wanted to chase it’, she concluded.
She tried her hardest to keep Lucky moving as they went past the alley, but with Lucky being the clever dog that he is, he knew exactly where he was and started veering off towards the gap.
“Noooo, Lucky we are going to the dog park, your most favourite place in the world, come on, it’s so much better than the dirty alleyway!” Kate began to reason with Lucky, who didn’t seem the slightest bit interested in what she had to say, “Come on, we get to see Yelena and Fanny, and play with the ball… ugh fine let's go see what the fuss is about”. Lucky wags his tail rapidly, tapping his feet in excitement as he lets Kate lead the way into the darkened passage.
Kate takes hesitant steps, trying to be as quiet as humanly possible, she doesn’t know what to expect down here. For all she knows someone could be waiting to jump out at her. Her efforts to remain silent are pointless, with a dog panting away happily, trying to encourage her further down the alley, he has no interest in stealth.
They make it to the end, and Kate looks around curiously, trying to figure out why Lucky would be so obsessed with coming down here in the first place. She sees a shift by one of the wooden fences that blocks off the passage from the other areas surrounding, she walks over slowly, ready to move the discarded paper bag on the floor, just as she is about to grab it, a pigeon suddenly makes its appearance and flys up towards her.
“Oh my- seriously, that’s what you wanted to come see? Come on, Yelena is probably wondering where we are.” Kate places her hand on her chest, attempting to process the shock experienced; she makes her way out towards the entrance, when her movements are halted by a very stubborn Lucky.
She turns back to look at him, she’s never seen him act like this before. He’s stood proud, not prepared to move from his spot.
She rolls her eyes, becoming frustrated, “Luck, please let’s just go”.
Lucky takes a seat on the floor. Making a point on his refusal to move.
“Unbelievable…” Kate takes out her phone, dialling Yelena’s number, “Hi Yelena, yeah we were on our way but Lucky is acting weird, can you just come and meet us and see if Fanny can convince him to leave the alleyway where we are, I’ll send you the location.”
After bidding Yelena a farewell, she hangs up the phone and crouches down to Lucky’s level. “The worst part is, you're too cute to stay mad at, you know that right”. She starts giving him some head rubs to which Lucky leans into.
Eventually, when Yelena turns up with Fanny-with lots of doggy voices and knee pats, Lucky leaves the alleyway, much to Kate’s relief. She makes a mental note to keep this in mind next time they go on a walk, trying to avoid this from becoming a regular occurrence.

It was the following week, thankfully Kate hadn’t experienced any stubbornness from Lucky. She completely avoided her usual route, making it easier to prevent Lucky from standing guard at his favourite spot.
It was just a casual walk today, no one to meet, just some time for Kate and Lucky to spend together.
Kate was admiring the flower stand situated outside one of the buildings she was passing, delicately running her fingers over the petals, admiring the wide variation of colours displayed.
“Excuse me, hi, how much for these purples ones?” She enquired to the stall owner.
Whilst engaged in conversation, she failed to notice how Lucky was pulling on his lead. She absentmindedly pulled back on his lead to keep him close by, attempting to reach out to stroke him and calm him down. As she went to pat him, she felt the lead go loose.
When she turned to inspect what had happened she saw Lucky bolting it down the street.
Abandoning the flowers, she rapidly moved to try and catch him up.
“Lucky! Lucky come back!” She yelled through the street, using a combination of commands and whistles to entice his attention.
Lucky made no effort to stop, he ran through the streets expertly, easily dodging pedestrians and traffic on the go.
Kate used all of her efforts to keep close to him, but after a particularly hard collision with a bystander, she fell to the ground, losing sight of where Lucky went.
She picked up the person she ran into to make sure they were okay- they were, she gave them several apologies and started on her way to find Lucky.
Kate became frantic, she was so worried about where Lucky was, she couldn’t lose him, he means so much to her, he’s family to her. She loves him more than life itself.
As she moves through the streets she stops a few people to ask if they have seen a Golden Retriever roaming the streets, to which many of them shook their heads and said they hadn’t seen one.
Kate noticed one man sitting at a bus stop, she decided to approach him, running out of options, “Excuse me, I am so sorry to bother you, but my dog just slipped his lead and has run away from me, I was wondering if you might have seen him? Here I have a picture of him…” Kate pulled out her phone, and zoomed past the many selfies she had of her and Lucky saved to her camera roll.
The man squints at the screen, “Yeah, I saw him, he ran that way, towards Sal’s place”.
Kate smiled at the information given, “Thank you so much, enjoy the rest of your day!”
She made her way to the direction she was instructed. After passing many stores and apartment buildings she reached the location specified.
After having time to breathe, she realised exactly where she was, she was at the front area of where Lucky refuses to leave- doing a full U-turn on their walk- how she only just realised this, she doesn’t know, in the panic she didn’t even think to check Lucky’s alleyway of choice.
She quickly makes her way to the alley, hoping to find Lucky there.
She cries in relief when she sees him there, happily wagging his tail like he didn’t just have Kate running for dear life to catch up to him.
“Oh, Lucky, don’t you ever do that again, I can’t even be mad, I am just so relieved you’re okay!” She kneels to the ground to cuddle Lucky, refusing to let him go.
After a few seconds, Lucky removes himself from her grip and runs over to the wooden fence at the end of the alleyway, “You’re actually being serious? I swear Lucky, if it is another Pigeon you’re sleeping on the couch for a week-no bed cuddles for you”.
She walks over to him to look at what he’s staring at, he looks up towards her, almost gauging to see if she’s paying attention. Suddenly he uses his nose to slide up a loose panel on the fence, squeezing through the new gap it has just made.
Kate stands there confused, unsure of why Lucky is showing her this. Since she hasn’t moved, Lucky pokes his head through the gap and barks encouraging Kate to follow.
“Okay, okay, I’m coming,” She attempts to push herself through the gap, barely fitting through, she then opts to jump the fence. Once she’s on the other side she notices a wide area, decorated with huge dumpsters; cardboard boxes and glass bottles.
She looks around trying to figure out where they are, she watches as Lucky walks up to a back door.
She follows him and looks to the sign displayed above, “Sal’s Pizzeria”, written above in red and green letters.
“Really? All this for pizza? We have pizza at home!” She tells Lucky, purely surprised with the amount of effort he has gone to for some pizza.
Lucky releases a low growl, to which Kate raises her eyebrow at, “You did not just growl at me.”
Lucky moves to scratch at the back door a few times with his paw; spinning on the spot to resume a sitting position.
A few seconds pass and a girl opens the door, wearing a uniform, “Wait, no way?! I haven’t seen you in months! Come here gorgeous boy!” Lucky eagerly runs into the girl’s arms receiving lots of kisses and cuddles. Kate stands there shocked, unsure what is going on.
After a few seconds of fuss, the girl casts her glance to Kate, “Oh I am so sorry, I didn’t see you there, I’m y/n.” She holds her hand out for Kate to shake, which Kate gladly accepts.
“Hi, I’m Kate, um sorry to disturb you, it’s just that Lucky led me here, and he has been adamant of coming here for weeks it seems and now I know why, I take it he likes the pizza?”
The girl nods eagerly, “Yes, he used to come here everyday, around the same time to get his pizza fix. I got so worried when he stopped coming, I just hoped nothing bad had happened to him, I see he made a new friend”.
Kate walks over to pat Lucky on the head, “Yeah, I’ve had him for a while now, I don’t know what I’d do without him”.
The girl smiles, “I’m so glad, thank you so much for taking care of him. I’d have taken him in myself but with growing up in Foster care and barely having a place of my own to call home, I couldn’t really offer him the home he deserved. To try and make up for it, I’d give him leftovers from the Restaurant and made him a makeshift bed in the Office”.
The girl leans down to rub Lucky’s face, “I missed him so much”.
Kate’s heart clenches at the sight, she can tell the girl really cares for Lucky and did her best to support him with what little she had.
“You know, you can visit him anytime, I’m sure he would love to have you around again”.
The girl raised her gaze to Kate at this, “Wow, thank you so much, that really means a lot. Would you like to come in for some food, the place is quiet and we’ve just made a fresh batch of Pizza ready to go”.
Kate nods her head, “Sure, I’d love that, we’ll meet you out front, probably best to sit him outside.”
“Yes of course”. The girl moves to give one last pat on Lucky’s head before heading in.
She briefly turns to Kate, casting her grateful smile.
Kate’s heart flutters at that, she has to remember to thank Lucky when they get home. If it wasn’t for him, she wouldn’t have met the girl of her dreams.

Kate remembered a lot of things from that night.
A lot of things, it was an unusual night after all.
The beginning of the Christmas Party, the shooting near the windows, going separate ways to find Yelena by the elevators, Jack fighting the tracksuits with a sword and you giving some support to the civilians that were fighting to guarantee they’d come home after all.
It all became a blur when she went after her mom, ending up in a fight against Kingpin himself and very near a tragic ending.
The promise you two made each other the day prior, the one when you said you’d both stay together to fight that night till the end, was long forgotten.
Kate emerged from the toy shop panting and bruised, breathing heavily and the confusion inside her only grew as she watched her mother get arrested. Lost and seated in the back of an ambulance, Kate started to look for you.
But you weren’t there.
She could see everyone that helped to fight the Tracksuits, everyone alive and only with some scratches — probably your doing —, but could not see you in any place. As the worry increased, her heart beated faster and faster, only being able to calm down if she saw you at last.
When you came into her line of vision you were panting and very bruised, but you could still stand and walk away from the building, recovering some of the knives you lost in the fight. You started laughing, but all she could read in her mind was that you were alive and okay — or at least the most okay you could be after all that fight.
“Hey, are you guys…?” You started but were cut off in the middle of the sentence by Kate hugging you real tight. “Ouch!”
“Sorry.” She spoke against your hair but didn’t flex the grip in your torso not in the slightest.
You turned around to look at Kate and in seconds her hands were cuping your cheeks, looking and taking note of every single cut and bruise.Unexpectedly, you interrupted her minucius inspection with a hug, forgetting about the pain for a moment and enjoying how she felt in the embrace.
Kate’s trembling frame seemed to calm down as you whispered sweet things in her hair.
“You’re alright. We’re alright.” You kept talking.
“You’re alright.” She said in response to you and the tears were fast to gather in your eyes.
“It’s all over now.” You said and Kate only held you tighter.
“I’m so glad you’re okay.” She finally let out, loosening her grip for a moment to look deeply in your eyes.
You smiled, a feeling of relief washing over your body.
Resisting the urge to kiss you, she relished on the words that left “I’m happy you’re okay too, Kate Bishop.”
After all the fighting that lasted the whole week before Christmas, the invitation from Clint to spend the holidays — or at least what was left of them — at his house wasn’t weird at all. You and Kate decided to join him with little to no effort on his part and that’s how you found yourselves walking to the porch that cold morning.
Seeing the happiness in the face of his children when he got home “in time” for Christmas was great, and both you and Kate felt home with how nice everyone was to you. It was a great and warm experience after December 24th.
The day was great but agitated, running around in the snow with everyone and talking that much was clearly not your first choice after battling the Tracksuit Mafia and other things more. But that worked well in the end, even if when the night came you and Kate collapsed on the sofas.
Soon the two of you were on the way to sleep.
Or at least to try to sleep.
Kate looked at you in the dark living room only lit by the moon coming from the windows. Your back was turned to the center of the room and it looked like you were fast asleep, regular and steady breaths combined with relaxed shoulders.
What would she have done if she lost you that day? If those minutes you couldn’t be found turned real? Turned into a reality without you?
The thought itself made her heart ache and she curled into a ball, trying not to cry about it, trying to ignore how empty her heart felt to the possibility of a world without your bad jokes in it.
She got up, as if she could run from her own thoughts, and turned to you. Kate shook your shoulder gently, just to see if you were really asleep and when you turned with eyes wide open she knew she wasn’t the only one replaying over and over the previous events.
“Hey, Kate.” You whispered, sitting on the couch to look at her from a better angle. “Are you okay?”
“I…” Why couldn’t she voice it out? It was as if she felt that the moment the words started leaving her mouth she would break down like a domino line.
“Couldn’t sleep?” She nodded, the only comprehensible answer she could think of giving you. “Me too.”
You both stood there, Kate standing like she was frozen in place and you sitting looking up and trying to figure out what to do next.
“Hey, could I…” Kate started and gulped as soon as she felt the knot on her throat tighten. “Could I sleep here with you? I don’t really want to be alone right now and…”
“Of course you can, Kate.” You cut her apologies in the middle and made room on the couch for her to get under the covers.
The couch was clearly not made for two people to sleep together, but you two made it work with you pressed against the back holding Kate against you by the wait to prevent her from falling. It didn’t take long and her head was resting on your chest and she was half above you, not that you would complain about it, it felt like a dream.
You caressed her head softly, fingers threading in her dark hair and the humming of some childish song she could feel vibrating through your chest. It was comforting but the thoughts weren’t going away even with all your sweet efforts. Even if she felt a bit more secure, she felt you were safe, it wasn’t enough to soothe it all.
“Do you want to talk about it? About why you couldn’t sleep, I mean.” You asked. “Some people say it helps.”
Did she want to?
Kate had no idea if it would make the situation better or worse. You were her partner in crime — or literally against crime — and your relationship had been coming to a point where all she could see were blurry lines between friendship and… and romance.
“Only if you want to. I don’t mean to…”
“I was afraid.” She confessed, cutting your apologies in half.
“Afraid of what?” You were confused. It was hard for Kate Bishop, the brave archer, to be afraid of something or someone, of anyone.
“Afraid of losing you, afraid of you leaving.” Kate sucked a harsh breath in while she tried to contain the tears from coming. “When— when you disappeared that night I thought I had lost you forever, I thought I wouldn’t see you ever again and— I love you! You know that, right? I love you more than you think and I— I don’t want to lose you. I don't want you to leave.”
“Hey.” You kissed the top of her head before tightening your arms around her. “I love you too, Kate. And I’m not going anywhere, I hope you don’t plan on doing it too because I can’t lose you, love. You mean too much to me.”
“You know in what sense I’m saying ‘I love you’, right?” She asked, unsure of what was yet to come. “I love love you.”
You laughed, taking the hair off her face and kissing her sweetly. That was all the confirmation she needed from you to continue the kiss, deep and meaningful. There was a sparkle of playfulness like everything was between you too, just enough to keep things normal and special.
“I love you, Kate Bishop.” You repeated yourself against her lips. “I don’t plan on leaving you anytime soon.”
She smiled widely. You didn’t need to have your eyes open to know it.

Nervous Love
Kate Bishop x GN! Reader
Crush One Shot #2
Warnings: Brief Mention of a Sleezy guy, nothing else (I think, Pls correct me if i’m wrong)
Summary: Kate didn’t expect these feelings, especially after how long she’s known you, and she doesn’t quite know how to act.
Word: 903
Kate Bishop wouldn’t necessarily be the person that people describe as soft spoken and timid. Rather she’d be the boldest person in the room, willing to do things regardless of the consequences and detached from the fear of embarrassment. She consistently risked her reputation, pulling stunts that many would call absolutely reckless. Like breaking the belltower that one time, it certainly wasn’t on purpose, but she never fully considered the consequences of hitting that old bell.
And yet somehow with you, now at least, it’s entirely different.
You’d been friends for years, having met several different times in so many different locations that the coincidences couldn’t be ignored. You’d first seen each other in passing on the streets of New York, you were rushing somewhere, and she had managed to lock eyes with you but neither said a word. Then a week later it was a coffee shop where you hadn’t even recognized it was the other, then a month later where you once again met when you were on your way out of a club.
At that point Kate had acknowledged how many times she’d seen you around, but also your drunkenness and the sleazy guy that was following you out. He was yelling after you, clearly making you uncomfortable and so she walked up to you and pretended to know you. Since then, you were attached at the hip. Closer to each other than either of you had ever been close with another person, sharing secrets, jokes and so many memories.
So why now, with Kate waking up next to you yet again (something that wasn’t even that uncommon), did she look at you and feel the breath get sucked from her chest. In that moment with your face smushed into your arms as you lay on your stomach, she felt like you were the most beautiful person in the world. And she had never quite felt this way before for you, of course she thought you were attractive, but she thought all of her friends were. This was something so different.
After a moment she heard an alarm start to go off and she frantically sat up and went to search for the noise before you woke up and noticed her staring. Her movement however sped up you waking up and you soon groaned and rolled onto your side, facing her, so you could stretch. And as her hands finally found the phone that signaled it being 9AM your eyes opened up, and you looked at her with a smile.
“G’Morning” You said your voice a little thick from sleep still. Kate looked over from the phone she had in her lap, and gave you a light smile and a shaky laugh.
“Ha-Hey, Sorry for waking you up” She said, reaching up with one hand to press back her messy hair. “Di-Did you sleep okay?”
You quirked up an eyebrow and sat up on your arm, Kate never stuttered. “You doing okay?” You asked cautiously, reaching out with your other hand to touch her arm. Her heart picked up speed as she tried to stealthy watch your arm so it wouldn’t surprise her once it made contact, but even that wasn't smooth and enticed you to halt your movement. You looked at her awkwardly, and instead just placed your hand on the bed.
“I slept okay” You finally answered before moving to roll off the bed.
With your back to her she bit down on the inside of her cheek, you’d been wearing one of her oversized hoodies and a pair of basketball shorts since your sleepover hadn't been planned anyways. She thought you looked amazing and just didn't quite remember to actually listen to what you might've been saying and was snapped back to reality when you said her name a little bit firmer.
“Kate seriously, are you okay? What’s up with you?” You said worried, before trying to make the situation less tense by joking “If you had a ~Dream~ about me don’t have to be so weird about it.” And with that she finally snapped back to reality.
“Hah No! I didn't!” She was smiling and it seemed like she was more normal than before. “I don’t know, just started thinking.” She shrugged.
“Oh yeah, and what would you happen to be thinking about?” You joked yet again and slightly wiggled your eyebrows as you fell back onto the bed again to lay your head in her lap, with phone in hand. She sat quiet for a second, yet again her heart picking up the pace. She felt so uncharacteristically flustered, this wasn't anything out of the ordinary.
“Something feels different” She finally, and quietly, stated.
“What do you mean?”
She shook her head after a moment before placing her hand on your head, to lightly stroke your hair. You in turn reached up and held her face lightly, “Kate, you can tell me anything. You know that?”
She took in a breath, her mind moving a mile a minute, she could barely keep up. Though she seemed to be trying to figure out what exactly to do next, for once she was considering the possible consequences of everything she could say next. After a moment she looked directly into your eyes and smiled at you, one that was so much softer than she had ever looked at you before.
“Do you know how beautiful you are?”

Gingerbread house
Kate bishop x GN!reader
Warnings: None
Summary: Spending the holidays with Kate.
Tumblr media
"I am not wearing that!" you say, looking at the horrendous Christmas sweater Kate had bought you.
"Oh yes you are" Kate said as she tossed you the jumper. As soon as it entered your hands, you could tell it would be itchy.
You reluctantly pulled the sweater over your head as Kate pulled out a gingerbread kit from her shopping bags.
"You have to be kidding me" you complain, looking at the baking kit.
"What? You said I could choose what we do" said Kate, holding up the box excitedly.
"I thought you were gonna bring movies or something" Kate reached into the bags and pulled out a stack of Christmas movies, smiling.
"Why did I agree to this again?" you asked and Kate rolled her eyes.
"Because I'm awesome and you love me" Now that you couldn't argue with.
Kate put on Christmas music while you emptied the gingerbread kit.
"Okay, so we have two tubes of icing, some sweets and obviously the gingerbread" You said, surveying the items splayed on the counter.
Kate grabbed one of the tubes of icing and held it up. "Time to assemble" she said in a serious tone.
"You're such a nerd" you say laughing at her.
While constructing the gingerbread you notice Kate has somehow gotten icing on her nose, you presume it's because of her constantly eating some.
You smile and look back to the gingerbread house.
"What?" Kate asked, noticing you smiling at her.
"Nothing" you reply, trying not to laugh.
"No seriously, what is it?" she asks, genuinely confused.
You stare at her nose and she rubs it.
"Oh my God!" she says, noticing the icing now on her finger. Now you cant contain your laughter. "How long has that been there?"
"I don't know, I only just noticed" you say, still laughing. "but if you continue eating the icing, we won't have enough to decorate"
"I don't know what you're talking about" Kate says and returns her attention to the gingerbread house.
"Sure you don't" you say, rolling your eyes again.
Once you complete your masterpiece, you and Kate admire your work.
"I think this is the best gingerbread house i've ever made" Kate says, clearly proud.
You look at the uneven sweets and messy icing for a moment. "I've made better" you say and Kate nudges you.
"Shh, it's perfect" she says. "So do you wanna watch Elf or Home alone first?"
"Elf definitely," you reply instantly "I honestly hate Home alone"
"What?!" Kate shouted.

Dog Walker - Kate Bishop
Warnings: Cuteness overload, very short, did it while very sleepy and didn't develop it to its fullest, english isn't my first language.
Summary: You are a dog walker with little interest in anyone with fewer than four feet. Your new client, the beautiful owner of a goofy, Golden Retriever, changes all of that when you begin to bond over your loveable new charge. (The prompt is from servicescape.com, I adapted it.)
Word count: 795.
Tumblr media
There were several jobs Y/n could be doing, admittedly, but truthfully, she would be miserable and last less than a year in any job she had to deal with a human.
Spend most of her day walking cute puppies? It was delightful. Not only was the exercise of the day, she got paid for walking dogs and playing with them. Sometimes she had to pick up some poop, an obvious downside that always scrunched up her nose and let out the most disgusted sounds; various times the dogs had pissed on her legs, intentionally or not. However, by the end of the day, her bank account was substantial (with unexpected but very welcome tips); Y/n was happier and had exercised enough to be considered healthy. A win-win situation, she thought.
It's not like Y/n hated humans so severely she didn't talk to them, friends and family do exist. The difference is that she would rather be with the angels with no wings that don't make judgemental questions about why a twenty-four-year-old wants to work walking dogs.
She had gotten a job walking Lucky, a cute golden retriever that lacked one of his eyes, for an hour. The owner, Kate Bishop, said she would wait downstairs so Y/n didn't have to go up a flight of stairs just for the cuddly little fellow. And as the dog walker neared the building, her breath got stuck in her throat for a few seconds.
Surprise, surprise Kate Bishop is a cute raven-haired woman in her early twenties. Black hair in a tight ponytail, a grey plaid overcoat topped a purple sweater alongside black boots and jeans. Y/n hated how good she looked in purple, it was her favorite color and she would remember Kate for a few weeks after this.
"Hi, I'm here for this cute little guy." Y/n used every ounce of strength in her to move forward and talk to the pretty girl, pointing to the Golden that was now curiously looking at her.
Kate's eyebrows shot up at the sound of a feminine voice next to her and she turned her head to meet the other person, taking a while to process Y/n's gorgeous facial structure before clearing her throat and smiling. "You must be Y/n!"
"Yup, that's me." Y/n nodded, smiling right back and directing her eyes onto the other woman's, making her realize the deep blue color. "You must be Kate Bishop."
"The one and probably not the only one." She then raised Lucky's leash to Y/n. "I'm so relieved someone with that many recommendations got to walk with him; I feel sorry for living in an apartment and leaving him cooped up all day."
"I'm sure you do the best you can, and for what's worth, he seems close to you," Y/n said as she observed Lucky kept sitting right next to his owner. "He didn't jump on me yet."
It wasn't rare for some dogs to stay put, yet it was Y/n's first time seeing a Golden Retriever not immediately jumping on her.
"Just wait." Kate's voice sounded amused, almost like a promise that we would, anytime. "Sorry to cut our conversation short, I can't be late. But I'll see you in an hour?"
"Yes, of course. See you later." Y/n nodded before looking at Lucky. "Let's go, handsome."
Lucky was a cute dog and not very difficult to take care of. He didn't go pissing or pooping everywhere, obeyed orders, and even played a few games with Y/n in the park. By the time they returned, Kate was already outside with her eyes shining as she looked at the dog.
"Pizza dog! How was your walk with the pretty lady?"
Needless to say, Y/n's cheeks burned with the praise, even if it came out without her actually meaning that.
"We played so much in the park. Oh, by the way, he already did his needs there, so you'll be good for a while." The dog walker spoke, looking at Kate. "And this sneaky guy totally kissed me on the lips."
Kate gasped before looking at him. "Lucky, you traitor!"
"Completely my fault, I'm irresistible." It was supposed to be a joke, but with the way Kate looked up from him and smirked, there was no chance the burning on Y/n's face wasn't appearing.
"I can see the appeal." She mumbled, voice a little low and raspy before she turned into a complete mess while saying the following words. "Hm, I've been meaning to ask, can I... get your number?"
Y/n felt absolutely giddy.
"Yes, yes you can."
So it was not like Y/n hated humans, but four-legged little guys were better, after all, if it wasn't for Lucky, the Pizza Dog, she would have never met her favorite human.

Nice Costume
Pairing: Kate Bishop x fem!Reader
Summary: Yelena has forced Kate into dressing up as a cheerleader with her for her first American costume party. Who knew Reader would like it so much?
Contains: dirty talk (Reader is a bit of a filthy bastard); fingering (K receiving), roleplay, slight bondage, hair pulling, oral (R receiving). 18+, Minors DNI!
A/N: HAPPY PRIDE MONTH EVERYONE! Hope you all have a safe and fun month, celebrating in your own way <3
Tumblr media
“I don’t know why Yelena wanted us to go as cheerleaders,” Kate said, jogging lightly down the stairs of her loft apartment. “I think I’d look much cooler as a viking… or a pirate!”
For once in your life, you were grateful for the unreliable sizing on eBay. Despite ordering a size up, the cheerleader costume was still too tight on Kate and hugged her body perfectly. The skirt was just a little too short so that any wrong move risked everyone seeing her butt cheeks and her cute little lace briefs. Her hair was tied back in its usual ponytail with some stray curly strands framing her face.
She looked like your closeted high school fantasy from when you would try to watch the boys play football but couldn’t help but stare at the girls cheerleading instead.
“I mean look at you! You make an awesome vampire!” She beamed, gesturing to your costume that consisted of one of those black corsets from Amazon that were all the rage when Bridgerton first dropped on Netflix, leather trousers, a cheap cape from Target and blood makeup.
Admittedly, you were proud of your makeshift outfit. Kate’s get-up, however, was making you salivate.
“Well, all I have to say is thank you to Yelena and her obsession with American culture.” You smiled back, hungrily looking Kate up and down. “Not gonna lie, babe, I’m really turned on looking at you right now.”
“Really?” Kate exclaimed; her blushing was evident in her voice with how it raised several octaves. She walked over to the mirror and admired herself in it, soothing down her outfit over her abs. “You really mean that? You’re not just saying it?”
You responded by going over to her and wrapping your arms round her waist from behind, placing soft kisses to her neck. Her lips parted as she watched your kisses deepen in the reflection and felt your grasp on her tighten.
“Didn’t I ever tell you I had a thing for cheerleaders in high school?” You whispered coolly in her ear and she shuddered. “You’re basically my ultimate fantasy right now, babygirl.”
“Babe…” Kate moaned as you started to nip at her neck. “We’re gonna be late.”
You laughed, spinning Kate round and giving her a deep kiss. “Since when did you ever care about being late?”
Kate shrugged her shoulders and chuckled before putting her arms round your neck. “You’re right. Yelena can wait.”
“That’s right, baby.” You smirked against Kate’s mouth before giving her another kiss that made her head spin. When you pulled back, she was blinking and disoriented as though she was drunk already, holding on to you for dear life.
Your fingers found the hem of her top and you pulled it over her head in one swift motion, pulling her face back in for another bruising kiss. Her lips were soft and inviting; you could have kissed them all day. She took your lead as you move your head to deepen the kiss, moving your hands down to palm her boobs over her lace bralette that matched the briefs she’d been hiding under her skirt.
Kate gasped into your mouth, feeling a little overwhelmed already and clutched on to your shoulders to steady herself. It was always such a treat when Kate got needy and desperate like this. Even more so when she was literally a walking, talking embodiment of your wildest fantasy.
Without breaking the kiss, you unhooked the bralette from where it was clasped at the front. Kate’s arms encircled round your neck tighter and she pressed her body closer to yours, eager for what you were about to do next.
You responded by pulling away from her mouth and descending to brush kisses over her jaw and on to her neck. It was a fun type of torture: you’d always take your time with opened mouth kisses in the knowledge this type of teasing riled Kate up. Today was no exception as she whined a little, already needing more from you.
“So desperate, baby. Is this what you thought about during the game while you were cheering on all those football players? Bet they wished this is what they were doing to you right now.” You smiled up at her wickedly. “Instead, you’re with your secret girlfriend and she’s making you feel so much better than they ever could.”
Kate giggled at the introduction of your roleplay but was interrupted by you circling your tongue around one of her nipples which pebbled at your touch. She let out a cute breathy moan and her mouth formed an ‘O’ shape at the contact.
Your hand found its place on her inner thigh and it trailed upwards underneath her skirt and eventually cupped her sex, which you could feel the wetness and heat from already. It prompted Kate’s body to jolt and she let out a surprised gasp. Her involuntary movement made you smirk against her skin and you removed your mouth from the now glistening bud.
You stood up, removing your hands from her and stared her down with a cocky grin. Breathless and panting, Kate searched your eyes for some sort of clue as to what you were about to do next.
It was then that you grabbed her arms and bent her over the couch. You reached for her wrists and pinned them behind her back so she couldn’t move. Kate gasped and rested her cheek against the cushion, wriggling in your grasp out of sheer excitement and anticipation.
Your free hand found its way to the back of her thigh as you pulled her skirt up over her hips. Your thumb tucked under the lace briefs and slowly – still doing your best to tease your poor girlfriend – you pulled the briefs down her legs exposing her supple and peachy ass and of course, that gorgeous pussy.
Kate moaned a little, completely caught up in the moment and enjoying being helplessly pinned down by you as you did as you pleased with her.
“Katie, baby, I’ve not even touched you yet.” You chuckled as you bent over her and presented your fingers at her mouth for her to suck on.
“You just know what effect you have on me!” She retaliated and obediently opened her mouth to suck on your fingers. She urgently lapped her tongue round them and suckled, impatient for what they were going to be used for. When she released them from her mouth, you wasted no time on using them to rub her pussy and enjoyed the gasps this inspired from Kate.
Once you were sure she was ready for them, you inserted both fingers and started to pump them in and out slowly to stretch her out. Kate groaned at the feeling, her mouth hanging slack open against the cushion. You still had her wrists pinned behind her back and you could see her own fingers flexing as she tried to contain the pleasure you were giving her.
“This is what you get, Kate. Walking around in that little outfit, you should have expected this kinda treatment. Taking it so well too, letting me bend you over and fuck you like this.” You basically growled at her; also caught up in the moment of having Kate at your mercy like this. Increasing the pace, you furiously pumped the two fingers in and out of her, knowing exactly what spot to hit which was her sweet spot.
“You’re my little cheerleader, you belong to me. Everyone might see you in that outfit but it’s me that gets to take it off.”
Kate cried out from underneath you, indulging in the pleasure of you taking her like this. Her body was jolted forward with the ferocity of every thrust from your fingers. Her knees bent and her toes curled as she felt her orgasm approaching. She buried her face in the cushion as she continued to wail out.
“I’m so close.” She whimpered and you could feel it on your fingers as her pussy contracted around them.
“Come on then, cum for me, show me who you belong to.” You commanded, tightening your grasp round her wrists which resulted in a pained cry from your girlfriend. At this, Kate let go and came on your fingers which now squelched with every movement with her wetness. You kept going but slowed down the pace to drag the pleasure out for her as long as possible. Kate wailed relentlessly and thrashed underneath your grip, unable to contain the intensity of the feeling you’d just given her.
Eventually, you let go of her wrists and leaned down, retrieving her underwear from round her ankles. Kate was panting and trying to catch her breath back as you bound her wrists together behind her back with her briefs. Placing your hand where you’d joined her wrists, your tugged on the bond and pulled her from off the couch and guided her to the floor where she sat obediently on her knees in front of you. Her skirt fell over her heels at the back and into place again and she looked up at you, chest heaving, ready for whatever you had in store for her next.
You held eye contact with Kate who wore an innocent and apprehensive expression as you unbuttoned your leather trousers and pulled them off with your own underwear.
“Now that I’ve taken care of you, I think it’s about time my cheerleader takes care of me. Don’t you think, Kate?” You asked with your eyebrow raised and leaned slightly off the couch. Kate nodded ardently, a smile stretched across her face as you opened your legs and exposed your own pussy to her.
“Yes, please, baby.” She grinned up at you, taking in the vision of her girlfriend in the cool vampire costume. She bit her lip, feeling lucky to have you and despite thinking it impossible, she became even more wet at the thought of eating you out.
“Good girl.” You praised and gripped your hand round her ponytail, guiding her face towards your core.
Kate followed your orders by opening her mouth and dragging her tongue along your clit which was now aching and sensitive from watching your girlfriend on her knees and her hands tied behind her back before you. She looked up at you with innocent eyes that drove you crazy as she continued to work her tongue on you.
The feeling of her smooth and warm tongue was so fucking welcome and you rolled your head back in pleasure. You grasped Kate’s ponytail a little too tightly which inspired a whine from her. The noise against your body caused a vibration so pleasing that it tempted you to yank her hair harder next time.
You used your hand to guide her head to where you needed her to go, offering compliments every few seconds so she knew how well she was doing.
“So pretty like this.” You praised, using your hand not clasping her hair to rub your thumb along her cheekbone and chuckling when you could see her start to blush.
Kate began to increase her pace to the consistency that, having tried and tested it, she knew drove you wild. You let out a guttural groan as she leaned back slightly to spit on your clit and then chased her own saliva with her tongue, lapping you up hungrily.
Then she began to suck on your clit, slurping up her own spit along with your wetness that had been created by her. Looking down at her, your eyes met her innocent looking ones and it was too much. Her ability to give you a naïve expression whilst simultaneously performing filthy acts on you never failed to blow your mind.
“Oh God, babygirl, that’s it. Right there. Just like that. Such a fucking good girl.” You moaned, feeling your own orgasm begin to build up in your core. You breathed heavily, panting as your body prepared to give way.
Kate’s wrists fought against their restraints, desperate to break free of them and touch you. This only made her actions fiercer and more frantic, to give you everything she possibly could despite being restricted. Almost like you planned it that way.
She sucked on your clit with extreme valour, her head bobbing in the process and her ponytail swinging. It was too much; you moved your free hand from Kate’s face to grip the edge of the couch and cried out in pleasure. You yanked Kate’s ponytail again to feel the vibration of her yelp against you. The little plan worked perfectly and allowed you to let go, screaming out Kate’s name so that none of your neighbours wouldn’t be in any doubt as to who lived in this apartment.
Your hand fell from Kate’s head as you panted, coming down from your high. Eyes closed, you gripped on to the back of the couch with both hands and your head swam. Kate couldn’t help but appreciate how your chest heaved in your corset that had given you incredible cleavage. She looked up at you and licked her lips.
Once you had suitably caught your breath, you opened your eyes and found your girlfriend still tied up on the floor in front of you.
“You’re keeping this outfit.” You asserted to her as you got on your knees to untie her wrists.
“You don’t need to tell me twice,” Kate smirked, rolling her wrists around once they were free. “I would have bought one sooner if I’d known this is what it would do to you.”
You helped her up from the floor and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips. “Come on, let’s go before Yelena literally murders us for being late.”

Home - Kate Bishop
Warnings: angst, fluff, language.
AN: Based on the song 'Home' By Catie Turner. I got this idea while I was working and listening to this song so- enjoy!
Tumblr media
I miss you when I least expect it.
I miss the way you feel on my lips
And I don't know when I'll see you again
I miss you when I least expect it…
-
Kate didn't know when it happened. She'd been away from you for so long that time seemed to drift slower, days felt greyer and smiles were harder to place. Missing you would hit like a punch to the gut. It would make her sick to the stomach at the thought that she couldn't reach out for your hand when she needed it. That she couldn't sneak up behind you and embrace you in a hug or peck you on the cheek to make you smile.
Being friends with Clint Barton was a dream, and if Kate hoped to be an Avenger someday, she had to follow his every move, instruction, and word. A part of her, however, no matter how much fun she was having being a hero, would ache at the fact you weren't there with her. It was always unexpected, the waves of longing that enveloped her at times, so much so that sometimes they shocked her into stillness. Many a time now Kate had found herself frozen in the middle of the street, thinking of you. Burning her food as she lost focus of what was cooking on the stove, thoughts of what you could be doing, filling her head entirely.
Kate would call you when she could, just to listen to your voice, to hear you ramble on about Amanda from next store, or to talk about how Lucky learned a new trick. Every call would make her smile, though lately, it was bittersweet. It was on one night’s particular call, however, that Kate's heart ached for you most.
"How's Clint?" The sound of your voice was muffled through the phone and Kate could only guess that you were moving about. You had an issue with sitting still if people weren't around, and it only cemented the fact to Kate further that she had left you alone.
"He's doing okay, he misses Pizza dog a lot more than he would like to admit".
You laughed at that, a sound that warmed Kate to the core, but hurt her just the same. You were so far away, yet she could hear you so clearly, and the fact was messing with her mind. As a comfortable silence settled over the line, the quiet, only broken by the calm breaths of the both of you, almost tricked Kate into believing she was by your side.
"When are you coming home?" You spoke quietly now, and from the lack of background noise, Kate could tell you had gone still.
"I don't know".
It was all she could say out of fear that she might just break down over the phone with you. What would happen if she did? No doubt you would be catching the next flight to be by her side, something Kate desperately wanted right this second. But she couldn't do that to you.
-
Feelings were fleeting but now I'm surrounded
Visions of you shaved into the side of my head
And as I sleep on the other side of the country
I wonder how it feels to be safe in the palm of your hand
And I just want to go home

Kate dreamt of you almost every night. They weren't the crazy fight for your life kind of dream, but rather the simple kind, the ones that seemed so real, because they were so normal. Kate dreamt about holding your hand, kissing you, and falling asleep to films by your side, and every morning she would wake alone, farther away from you than she had ever been.
Kate had been in many the dangerous situation whilst on her explorations with the arrow shooting Avenger Clint Barton, and she had yet to feel entirely comfortable in her new habitat. A heavy out of place feeling hung over her like a cloud, pressing her into the ground as its rain began to pour. In these moments of hopelessness, Kate couldn't stop herself from thinking about how calm she would be with you. She knew in every ounce of her being that you were the one who made her feel safe. Kate also knew that she was that person for you.
Whenever storm clouds were rolling in, their roars and threats breaking the peace of your life, Kate was always there to listen. To hold you throughout said struggles until the upheaval would pass. You would do the same for her and Kate found herself remembering the times when you did. One in particular, when Kate found herself face to face with the realization that her mother wasn't the all-good woman, she had known her to be.
Despite the Christmas cheer and newly found Avenger-like purpose, in between the opening of presents and the singing of carols, you would find Kate curled in a ball, overthinking everything possible. It was here that you would sit with her, tell her jokes, and hold her hand. That was all Kate wanted right now.
-
And I just want to go home
Home
I just want to go home
Home
-
Three months. That was how long Kate had been without seeing you, and in this time, your presence in her mind had grown unbearably strong. With every sight she saw she thought of you, how you would smile at a puppy on the street or make a comment about some man's funny hat in a coffee shop. She missed you more than anything, but most terrifying was that she had never felt this way before. She had been apart from many others for times much longer than this, yet the part of her that ached for you had now consumed her whole. Kate had made a good enough place for herself where she was, and there was the prospect of Kate living in this particular place permanently. It was a great opportunity and Kate knew as such, but there was something about the thought that screamed protest. This wasn't what home was supposed to feel like. She wanted to go back home to you.
-
I don't take spoonfuls of romanticism in my tea.
But this is not a love song
It's my truth I have to speak
Oh, you are so important to me
And I won't let you go
I won't let you go
-
It was occurring to Kate now, that this feeling was more than she'd bargained for in this relationship. It had started as a crush, Kate's feelings becoming something stronger than a friendship, and when she had told you so the smile on your face was wide. You'd kissed her passionately at the time, laughing along with her at your mutual pining. Kate had only been in a few relationships, but her one with you was by far the best, and what she was feeling now, miles upon miles away from you, was something she had never experienced before.
It was frightening to say the least, the way her heart reached for you whenever she was unsure of herself, but some part of Kate liked the feeling. As painful as it was, the realization of what this could be was something that filled Kate with warmth.
It occurred to her then that she couldn't leave you alone without letting you know all that was going on in her head. The only way she could make sense of it was to tell you, but she wasn't going to do it over the phone.
-
'Cause wherever you are is home
I miss you when I least expect it
I miss the way you feel on my lips
And I don't know when I'll see you again
So won't you please come home
-
When Kate knocked on your door, time seemed to pass slower. The wait for you to answer was endless, and Kate was jet lagged beyond comprehension. What would you say when Kate said what she'd come all this way to tell you? When you opened the door, however, her heart lifted in her chest, happiness enough to bring tears to her eyes.
"Hey".
The singular word didn't seem to register to you, however, as you stood, hands cupped over your mouth in surprise, and no later than this, did you throw yourself at Kate, wrapping her in the tightest hug Kate had ever known. She laughed at your surprise and gripped you tightly as you clung to her. She was happy beyond words to see you, everything she'd been feeling whilst apart from you, now stronger than ever.
"I have something I need to tell you." You were still hugging Kate tight as she spoke, somehow leading her into the house and shutting the door, without letting her go.
"Yeah, that's fine," your words came fast as you finally released her, quickly picking up bits of rubbish lying about the place and shoving them all to one side. "I'm so sorry about the mess, had I known you were coming home I would have cleaned." You turned to face Kate then, your smile growing wider than before. "I'm so glad your back".
Kate didn't have time to do anything but laugh as you hugged her again, tears staining her cheeks as you squeezed her tight. Never before had relief caused her to cry, but finally finding herself in your presence caused the weight on her shoulders to ease.
"I really missed you." She mutters into your hair, arms pulling you as close as she possibly can. You just laugh into her shoulder, pulling back to look at her as if she can't possibly be real. As if Kate can't really be here with you.
"What did you want to tell me?" your eyes lock with hers and your question causes Kate's heart to jump within her chest. Now's the time, she thinks. She gets to say everything she feels, gets to tell you exactly what she came here to say.
"I love you." The three words are a gentle whisper, but she's not nervous to say them anymore. She's proud of how she feels. "I love you more than anyone I've ever known."
You're smiling even wider now—if that's possible—and Kate thinks that's a good thing. When you kiss her, she knows you feel the same. It's short and quick, but it holds more than words can say and when you pull away Kate feels whole again. The piece of her that was missing now stands in her arms, and she can breathe, really breathe. She might have to leave again soon if she wants to be an avenger someday, but for now, she's content where she is and when she has to go, she's taking you with her this time.

Pool Party
Pairings: milf!wanda x fem!reader

Summary: You and Wanda have been flirting and teasing each other since the day you met. Or, at a pool party, you're not getting enough of Wandas attention.
Wanda is one of your moms best friends. She lives across the street with her two kids, who she shares custody with her ex-husband. When she first moved in across the street it started off innocently. Your mom and you going over and helping them move in, bringing them homemade chocolate chip cookies. You even watched the twins while your mom and Wanda went out with other friends or if Wanda was running late from work.
But the looks. Wanda had a way of giving you very specific looks. Always watching you and every single move you took.
Since the first moment Wanda laid eyes on you, she was completely enamored. She watched you walk over that hot June day in shorts and tank top, beads of sweat dripping down your chest as you offered your help. The way you gave her the most innocent eyes when the two of you found yourselves alone and your mom was in the other room.
Your small town southern accent drove her crazy. She constantly asked you questions just so she could hear you talk. "You're so adorable when you say that." Was something you were used to hearing from Wanda.
As time went on the looks turned into touches.
At first, it was small, fleeting moments where her fingers would brush against your arm. The feeling of her cool metal rings on your skin, causing goosebumps to rise. Sitting next to each other on the couch, watching a movie after the boys had gone to bed, she let her hand drift down to rest on your thigh. She rubbed small circles with her thumb. Saying goodnight to you after babysitting the boys and sending you home with a kiss on the cheek, too close to your lips. Everything about Wanda Maximoff invaded your senses, and you both knew it was wrong.
But neither one of you did a thing about it.
"Harmless flirting," you told your best friend one day. It was an exceptionally hot July day, a year after the Maximoffs had moved across the street. Your mom decided to throw a pool party for the neighbors and some close friends. Currently, you were laid out on a lounge chair in your best-looking swimsuit, crimson red, which you know is Wandas favorite color. Next to you was Kate, laughing and shaking her head at your naivety.
"Oh, Y/N.. you guys should just fuck and get it over with. You'd feel so much better, get all that stress out. Plus, Ms. Maximoff is hot. I'd beg to be with a woman like that." Kate looks through her sunglasses across the yard where Wanda stood talking to your mom and a few other neighbors. "And, she's totally into you. There hasn't been a moment her eyes haven't been on you today."
It was true, Wanda had been watching you closely the entire time. She was at the point where she didn't even care if it was obvious, she couldn't stop staring at that little fucking red bikini you had on. She knew you had worn it for her, and she was on the verge of showing her cards in front of everyone. To try to keep her cool she turned her back on you as you talked to Kate. You frown at her sudden movements.
You had become obsessed with wanting Wandas attention. You were constantly trying to make sure her eyes stayed on you. You wanted her thoughts to be filled with the idea of you. So at this, you felt as if her attention was gone, onto the next.
Fine.
You huff and stand from the chair, grabbing a bottle of sunscreen from the table and looking around the yard. "What are you doi-" Kates words are cut off as you begin to call Buckys name, waving at him. Kate sighs and leans back against the chair, saying, "This should be good," as she watches you adjust your swimsuit.
Everyone knew that Bucky had a thing for you. He always had, ever since freshman year of high school. There were a few kisses, 2 or 3 school dances, many dates, and even a little groping between the two of you throughout the years. Bucky was great and nice and hot, but only you knew the real reason why things would never work out with him.
Bucky smiles at the sound of your voice, which also catches the attention of Wanda again. You smile to yourself as you notice her looking, and you make your way over to Bucky. She watches from across the yard with a closed fist by her side as you strut over to him, standing there soaking wet in his swim trunks. You rest your hand on his arm as you lean up and whisper something in his ear. He smirks and nods, letting out a chuckle as you hand him the bottle of sunscreen.
"God, you look great... it's been too long since we've hung out, doll," Bucky says as you sit in front of him, his hands spreading the cold white sunscreen onto your shoulders and down your back. You smile back at him and return to face forward, making eye contact with Wanda. Her emerald eyes burned into yours as she slowly tilted her head to the side. You swallowed hard as she did and removed your gaze from her. You had seen the head tilt before, but never directed at you, and you would be lying if you said it didn't scare you a little.
"I know, things have just been so crazy since we graduated.. I miss you more than I thought I would," you tease him, making him laugh.
"Uh huh.. I'm sure you did. Bet you really missed this," he says with a smirk on his face before picking you up in his arms and walking to the pool. You let out a playful scream, banging your arms against his chest, but his arms are tight around you. "Bucky no!" You manage to get out before he's throwing you into the water, jumping in right after you and lifting you again in his arms. You're both laughing now as he holds you and pulls you close, "It's definitely working." He whispers in your ear.
"Oh good! I've missed James around the house. I always thought those two would be married one day.. fingers crossed, maybe they've still got a chance," your mom says aloud to Wanda, sipping her wine and smiling at the sight of her daughter in the pool. Wanda, on the other hand, was trying to compose herself, failing miserable. "Are you okay, Wanda?" She asks her neighbor whose face is bright red, staring daggers at the boy in the pool. Wanda gives a small smile, downing the rest of her drink.
"Oh, yes, I'm fine! I think I'm gonna grab another drink," Wanda says and nods to your mom. She stands for a moment, making eye contact with you again. Your face burns at the stern expression she gives you, and you clear your throat as you watch her walk inside.
"I'll be right back," you say to Bucky, who chuckles, shaking his head.
"I'm sure you will, Y/N.."
After getting out of the pool, you wrap a towel around your wet body, walking into the empty house. Besides a certain redhead you know was waiting for you. Many times, Wanda had been over to your house, sneaking up to your bedroom when she could get away. It was bold and exciting, the feeling of being caught any second. You think back to one of the times she had come up.
"I brought you something," Wanda smiles at you after you had let her in, shutting the door behind her.
"For me?" You ask, looking curiously at her hands behind her back. She reveals a book in her hands, but not just any book. A first edition, signed copy of your favorite book. "Wanda! I- you shouldn't have!" You look at her in disbelief, shaking your head, but she puts the book in your hands and sits on the bed next to you.
"You've done so much for me and the twins lately. You deserve it, really.." she says softly, a warm smile on her face as she watches you flip through the pages. You remember thinking Wanda was so thoughtful, so caring that she remembered when you told her this was your favorite book. You turn to face her, eyes bright and a smile so wide, you didn't realize how close the two of you were.
That was the first time Wanda Maximoff had kissed you.
There had been many other moments after that where you and Wanda had snuck off for a private kiss, a heated makeout session. It never went further than that, and none of them were ever as sweet as that first one.
So you walk up the stairs a step at a time, resting your hand on the doorknob to your room and opening it up. Wanda stood there with her fire red hair down past her shoulders, a loose shirt, and shorts concealing her swimsuit underneath. You expected an angry look on her face, but all she did was tilt her head, for the second time today. That was all it took for you to shut the door behind you.
In three steps, Wanda was towering over you, just an inch away from her body touching yours. Her hands went to your towel, making it drop from your body. She lets her fingers slowly move up your arm as she leans her head down closer to your face. "Did you wear this for me, detka?" You bite your lip, hearing her words come out thick in her sokovian accent.
"Yes.." is all you can mutter out, staring up at her with those innocent eyes. Wanda hums, taking another step so your back is pressed against the door. Helpless and trapped between her and the hard surface.
"Yet you let that boy put his hands all over you." Wanda practically spat, facial expression finally showing the truth, she was angry. Jealous. You reach your arms up to rest your hands on her shoulders, rubbing your thumbs softly against her.
"What do you care? What did you call this? Harmless flirting," you spit back, a smirk on your face. "So I assume that means I can do whatever..." You lean up on your tip toes to whisper in her ear, letting your lips rub against the soft skin there. "... or whoever I want." You use your hands to push her away, moving away from the door and from her. She scoffs and lets you walk past her before she grabs your wrist.
"Is that what you think? No.. no, I don't think so," Wanda says and spins you around to see her green eyes darkening as they rake over your body. She walks until the back of your legs hit your bed and she pushes you down onto the mattress. You gasp at the sudden movement, feeling her lift you further up the bed before crawling on top of you. "Oh sweetheart.. I'm going to ruin you."
You can't help the lewd sound that escapes from the back of your throat at her words, and you feel her lips connect to your neck. Your hands find themselves on her back, shoulders, anywhere you can grip onto her. You wanted her as close as possible to you. She begins to suck softly, biting down harshly as she does. Wanda does this over your exposed neck and collarbone, leaving little purple marks each time. You feel one of her hands begin to grope your body, removing your top to reveal your breasts.
"Detka.. You're so pretty for me.. fucking perfect tits," she mutters out, eyes glued to your chest before she's kissing them and sucking on your nipples. "So fucking perfect.." she sighs as she begins to kiss down your stomach. Your breathing becomes harder and she looks up to you with reassuring eyes.
Yes, Wanda Maximoff wanted to ruin you, wreck you. You had teased her beyond usual today, and she needed to show you who she belonged to. But this was also her first time seeing you like this, you letting her touch you, so she also needed to know you were okay. She was also restricted by time. Anyone could come up at any moment and catch the two of you. The thought alone made you crave Wandas touch, immediately.
"You, okay baby? Huh? What do you want, detka?" Wanda spoke between kisses, her fingers running over the top of your bottoms. As you stare down at her, you feel nothing but warmth and comfort. "I want you, Wands.." Your face heats up as you verbally announce it, watching her mouth form into a smirk. She's quick to relieve you from your bottoms, and you're finally bare for her to see.
"Tsk, tsk.. look how wet you are, sweetheart. Who made you this way?" She asks with a tilt of her head, fingers running along your slick folds.
"You, Wanda.. only you," you sigh out, gripping onto the sheets for support. She hums in approval at your words, sticking two fingers inside of you without warning. Her other hand moves to cover your mouth before you can let out any more moans as she continues to rapidly move her fingers in and out of you.
"That's it, detka. Be a good girl for me, huh? I'll fuck you properly later, but for right now you're going to take my fingers," all you can manage is a small nod as her slender fingers curl inside you, hitting your g spot. "So perfect for me, fuck I've been wanting to do this for so long now. I bet you taste so good.." Wanda groans out and bites her lip, squeezing her hand tight against your mouth.
Between Wandas praise and dirty whispers, and the way her fingers were hitting that sweet spot over and over again, you were already on the verge of an orgasm. Wanda watched you squirm underneath her, thinking of all the different ways she would have you now that she could touch you. Her words were true. She had been thinking and literally dreaming of this moment for what seemed like forever.
"I feel your little pussy squeezing around my fingers, detka. Are you going to cum for me?" She speaks lowly, removing her hand from your mouth. A small moan escapes as you manage out in a hushed voice, "Yes, Wands.. fuck I need to cum.."
"That's right, sweetheart.. tell me who you belong to. Tell me who's making you feel so good.."
"You, Wanda! Oh fuck... I belong to you," you whimper, feeling her hand wrap around your throat. You feel her fingers squeeze softly, just enough to bring you even more pleasure.
"Cum for me, detka.. be a good girl and let go.." Wanda groans at the sight of you, the feeling of your wet cunt squeezing around her two fingers.
Your legs begin to tremble, and she smirks as her hand becomes wetter. "That's it, baby... good girl.. just like that.." She talks you through your orgasm, slowing the pace of her fingers until your moans reside and you're left panting on the bed. Wanda moves her hand from around your throat first, then her other from inside you.
Your lips part as you watch her put her two fingers, wet with your own slick, into her mouth. Wanda moans at the taste and closes her eyes shut as she cleans her digits sinfully. "You taste so good, Y/N.." She opens her eyes and smirks down at your surprised expression, then crawls on top of you. Wanda closes the gap between the two of you and kisses you softly.
The kiss is wet and sloppy, your mind still trying to keep up with what just happened, including the multiple times Wanda made you say you belonged to her. Suddenly, a knock at the door causes you both to jump with a gasp.
"Uh.. Y/N? Your mom is looking for you.. just um... fyi.." Kates voice sounds, and you sigh in relief, eyeing Wanda as she stands in front of the mirror trying to freshen herself up. You follow suit and stand up, taking the top of your bikini as Wanda hands it to you.
"Thanks, Kate, I'll be right down!" You shout back through the door, hearing her steps head down the stairs. You give Wanda an apologetic smile, but all she does is walk behind you. Her fingers take the strings of your top, tying it in a tight knot behind your back.
"I meant everything I said. You belong to me," her voice is stern as she meets your eyes in the mirror, her index finger trailing along the marks she left on you, while her other hand rests on your hip. "So that James boy..." she trails off, giving you a confused look at the smile on your face. You let out a small laugh and turn around, bringing your hands up to wrap around her neck.
"Bucky, James, ... is gay," you say and bite your lip, watching for Wandas reaction. Her shoulders relax, and she shakes her head, a laugh leaving her lips.
"But your mom said you two used to.."
"In high school, we kind of made it seem like we were a thing to throw everyone off. He's got a boyfriend now, in New York. I know it was wrong, but.. I just wanted to have all of your attention." Your fingers weave into her hair, your voice becoming quiet at the end of your sentence. Wanda hooks a finger under your chin to make you look up at her.
"You don't have to do anything to get my attention, sweetheart. You always have it, all the time. You always have." She smiles at you, scrunching her nose up in the most adorable way. You giggle at the sight, a sound that fills Wandas chest with warmth. "Now go downstairs before your mother comes up here, okay?"
You nod, leaning up to press your lips to hers. You loved kissing Wanda.. her kisses were all taking. When she kissed you for the first time, you knew you would never belong to anyone else.
"Well?" Kate asks, lifting an eyebrow as you stand next to her.
"Well, what?" You sip your drink.
"You feel better now, don't you?" You can practically hear the smirk on her face, but you don't look to find out if it's there. Instead, you keep your eyes on the older redhead across the yard, who's already gazing back at you.
