robin cross and kevin day parallels actually go so crazy. they both spent their formative years in a basement underground with exy-obsessed captors. they both saw exy as freedom. they both were isolated even within the foxes’ group of outcasts. they were both under andrew’s protection. it cost kevin jean to leave the nest and it cost robin another girl’s life to escape her kidnapper. robin carried her racquet with her to self-soothe and kevin restrings the net of his when he’s anxious. they’re even bird coded

Abby and Andrew are frenemies

Andrew has chronic migraines

Dan Wilds has ADHD

Kevin Day has autism

the twinyards and Neil have chronic joint pain

Andrew and Kevin constantly argue about Andrew's diet

Neil and Andrew take Kevin to history museums

^ Kevin can't drive and in fact knows nothing about cars (he memorized Andrew's license plate so he can find the Mas in parking lots)

Abby and Wymack give the foxes joint Christmas gifts

Andrew buys everyone gifts. he doesn't tell anyone it's from him, he just puts them somewhere he knows they'll be found

Alison and Andrew start to bond post-TKM and become besties when they're adults

None of the OG Foxes liked Robin at first; they thought she was intruding into their space since Andrew takes her everywhere

You gave me one hell of a childhood and although you were my favorite superhero I had somewhat of a humility to still be playing as Robin rather than Batman because nobody could ever top you, this was my favorite episode that Kevin had ever worked on since it made me feel like as if he was talking to the viewer at times and it just felt like as if it was just him being him comforting us all in times like now.

Sometimes I think about how we have audio of Kevin Conroy saying “Dick” and “Tim” in BTAS, but none of the other Robins’ names, and it makes me kind of melancholy. And then I remember that he does say the name “Jason,” in BTAS and Justice League, when talking to Jason Blood, and I feel a little better. Like at least we know what that name sounds like in the voice of the only Batman that matters

BAHAHA i think there is definitely more to robin than just her kevin parallels but i am forced to admit that she has many of them and the role she plays in the monsters is not unlike the one kevin left vacant when he graduated….!!!! but it’s just sooooo @___@ to me that not only is robin so similar to kevin narrative-wise but she’s also a direct result of kevin’s influence in andrew…… andrew who wanted her to believe in herself and fight back the same way he wanted it for kevin…. andrew who trained robin every night like kevin did with neil…. andrew using exy as a means to give robin a second chance at life like kevin has been telling him for years….. DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!!!

i think even if robin doesnt get to be a fox while kevin is a fox it’s still so clear that kevin’s influence still lingers….!!! im not sure if he would have been close to her at all, and maybe she would have been scared of him and his criticism, but i think if they ever got a chance to be friends then they really would ok. i believe 🥹
