hyunjin! i've almost always been pulled in by the dancer (lee know i know but) specifically the style of dance hyunjin excels in. the isolation is so satisfying and cool. for some reason choreo always gets a song stuck in my head??

But also!! I had heard they produced their own music and that really got me interested in kpop again

what makes them your current bias?

oh god. um. i'll put this in the least embarrassing way possible. (this is a kpop tumblr blog I should probably get over it)

it was a particularly bad year. i stumbled upon their silly videos (thank you stay for the edits<3) and they made me laugh. then i started seeing clips of chans room and him interacting with the boys and just like... he's so wonderful. he's generous and kind and loving and thoughtful. just a shy lil guy who also happens to be a flirt and a fucking dork and it's cute man idk shut upp

who is your bias wrecker?

i was certain i'd never have one, i truly adore each of those boys so so much.

i was however proven wrong after a very sweet, silly compilation of binnie being ridiculous. followed by a face cam of his sclass performance in the supreme jersey?? and the curls?? he has such amazing stage presence and he's a great dancer. but he kept going from his cute sweet binnie expressions looking like he was just so into it and having fun, to the "dark rapper" eyes and commanding stage presence. and like, wow. 🖤 i am a sucker for that kind of duality.

which members are you currently obsessing over that aren't your bias/wrecker?

in another reality han is my wrecker. that boy is the epitome of what i used to look for in guys: babygirl. lol. well, and insanely talented and funny and everything. I adore him

after befriending a couple seungmin stans, i started looking for pics and clips to send them and found myself so incredibly impressed with him and touched by some of the things he's said and done. plus he’s a funny little shit.

hwang hyunjin is such a sweet boy. since we got producer jinnie on the last album i have been looking back and just so impressed with his growth 🤍

when did you first discover the group?

(Upon editing I realize I read this as ‘how’ but oh well)

okokok so

i was a kpop fan 2014-2017 and went all in. kcon and concerts the whole thing

but then i was just on my usual 6 hour yt shorts binge as i tried to fall asleep and saw skz reacting to the "your eyes" mv, specifically felix's part, obviously. i watched it like 12 times just cry laughing at han screaming, hyunjin trying to escape, channie hiding behind his hands and squealing. it was just so funny to see a group kind of clowning their own shit? i thought they were hilarious.

then i saw julien (solomita) had reacted to 'topline' and i was soooo into it. immediately went to watch some mvs and decided cool i'll be a totally normal casual fan of this group’s music….. :)

THEN a lovely lady i'd followed on my 10 year old tumblr account posted about skz. i messaged her that I’d finally decided to check them out and she was kind enough to answer questions and entertain my onslaught of messages as I screamed about how much I love these boys. and she still does everyday so. thank you hana 🌸

Oh god if I gave the long version for each of these we'd never leave...I could talk about my biases for hours!

Seventeen: the more I have learned about him the more his personality just makes me love him; sweet, kind, gentle, and also the world's biggest heathen - what more could I want? Monsta X: very similar to the above; he had so much talent and charisma, but I saw that he was appreciated so little for it, so I took it upon myself to show him the love he deserves! Another cute, sweet, heathen (who makes d*ck jokes on national television) Ateez: he and I are very similar in a lot of ways, like with our nerdy interests and clean-freak tendencies, and that really endeared me to him a lot; he's also a sweetheart who will also find a way to create chaos when space permits (he's also super fucking hot have you seen him???) Stray Kids: I saw just how much he cared for the rest of the members so early on through the Stray Kids survival show; seeing how much time, effort, dedication, and passion he had for them and for music really made me fall for him (and, he is also a sweet cute heathen) NCT 127: Another case of a member going so deeply underappreciated that I decided that I will be their biggest cheerleader, and the more I learn about him and his devilishly charming personality the more I love him (and another cute, super hot heathen) KARD: literally just bisexual panic. that's the only explanation I have. That and both of them are so talented and have incredible charisma and stage presence that its hard for me to look away!

Between 7 & 5, who did you bias first?

I biased Yuta first. My friend introduced me to NCT and I was drawn to Yuta SOOOOO fast. I found SKZ a bit later and was drawn to Chan.

Between 2 & 6, who are you more attached to?

Jihoon for sure. I fell in love with Seventeen almost as soon as I found them, and Jihoon became my bias from the first time I listened to HIT. I lowkey lean on Jihoon as my emotional support kpop idol. He's such a comforting person and i love him so much. (Ily Jungwon i promise)

If you were to spend a day with 3 or 1, who would you choose and what would you do?

Ohhhh this is tough bc I love them so much. I think I would choose Hongjoong though. He's a very calming person and I think I would be able to let myself let loose a bit more. Plus I think there would be slightly less of a language barrier for us. As far as what we would do...Idk. Lowkey I think he would love to hang out at a Barnes & Noble so I would probably drag him there, grab a coffee, and walk around for a bit even if neither of us get anything.

What is your favorite physical feature about 9?

I love everything about his face tbh. But if I had to choose one feature I would go with his eyes. I could get LOST in those eyes fr.

What is your favorite part of 6's personality?

Jungwon is just a silly goofy guy i love him so much. Like he seems like such a fun person to hang out with even if we don't do anything.

If you were to tell 8 anything you wanted, what would you tell them?

Ten my love 🩵. I would love to tell him thank you. Before ATEEZ, before Seventeen, Ten was the original idol that I found comfort in. When I was originally getting into kpop, I was in a bad mental spot (even if I didn't show it a lot). Finding Ten, listening to him talk or sing, watching him dance, he was just such a comfort to me and he still is. So I just want to be able to tell him thank you for helping me, even if he doesn't know it.

Between 1 and 2, whose closet would you raid?

Hongjoong. That's it. That's all I have to say.

What is a style you want to see 3 try?

Dark academia/royal style. He looked SCRUMPTIOUS during Kingdom (FUCK MNET), specifically during O Sole Mio. I want to see more of that. Like now. Desperately.

Chan. I think I'm like 2 inches shorter than him and I'm pretty sure Minho is almost 6'0

okay so first of all, you got daddy issues

i know it's really basic and cliche but it's TRUE

you need a father figure or at least, you find one in Bang Chan and feel comfortable with it, which is really nice (i absolutely validate your choice lol)

i think that you like to help others, listening to their problems and sometimes forget about your own ones

you're the reliable friend in the group, everyone can count on you and knows it

you also like to be alone, you're a hard worker and a little hard on yourself too

you hate making mistakes and don't want to show your weaknesses to people

if i had one advice for you.. pls take care of yourself bc you're a good person and you deserve to have a good life focusing a little more on yourself

LEE KNOW

i would say that you are this person that seems cold at first but then becomes to be a funny one who's always ready to go out and enjoy life

you love animals (particularly cats) and sometimes, your prefer them compared to real humans

you also like to be there for the people that count for you, you need to be surrounded by good persons who can see through your cold straight face

you might like rainy days, reading, watching dramas or action movies, drawing and dancing

i think you're also addicted to warm pullovers with an "old grandpa style" (idk if this is understandable..)

Oh without a question Namjoon, and I would want to go to a big art museum with him, maybe even a library too, and and walk around the city and see the sights. Basically I would wanna go Namjooning with him, but hey I’m an Art History major in university with a minor in library science, so can you really blame me? XD

Hm... okay lemme really quickly run through all 35 of them... maybe doing all of these groups was a mistake lmao. Perhaps Mingi! Looking at it from our MBTI types INFPs (me) and ENTPs get along well, and from astrology Scorpios (me) and Leos are capable of forming strong bonds and relationships, so overall I’d like to think the friendship would be a good one! :)

yeah, i figured it was because of the roles too. my friends and i still get taken aback when 3rd gen idols are the same age as 4th gen ones. in my head it doesn't add up sometimes. abt the twisted au o.O i'll inquire my irl if she wants to write it or not. if she doesn't want to, i'll do it. i miss writing twisted aus <3___<3 and i also miss going to the beach with my friends :' ) but it's starting to get cold here and i don't think i'll be able to enjoy the beach as much as i would if i went beaching in the summer. so maybe next summer? gone away really has an sm-ballad vibe. the thing about skz being a self-producing group, their songs don't sound like typical jype songs? and i just appreciate that bc in all honesty im not a fan of jyp groups at all. Changbin Falling For You

My First Imagine

- Fluff, Romance, Angst, (tried to remain gender neutral)

Setting: During COVID19 Pandemic, Professor and Changbin (not a student teacher relationship tho)

*I’m so sorry for the wait. I really struggled with their encounter since I dont have a lot of dating experience (only had 1 partner). But I tried my best to make it seem realistic*

PART 4

Changbin read your caption and swooned over how wonderfully you portrayed the encounter.

He went through your feed and watched all the clips from your teaching sessions. By the twentieth video, he wasn’t listening to what you were saying anymore. He was listening to your voice, how it echoed throughout the room, how you dragged your last syllables when you were being affectionate with your students, how your pitch rose when others were actively engaging, how your words melted into each other and how each sentence slowly turned into music. 

The next morning, when Han woke Changbin up, he found Changbin asleep with your lectures still playing. Witty Han decided to pull a prank and played your lecture in the big room and woke Changbin up. Hearing a familiar voice, Changbin woke up, cheeks puffy and eyes still sleepy. “Is that one your guys friend? I feel like I’ve met them before,” he sleepily said.

“Yeah that’s my friend that we met at the convenience store. Don’t you remember,” Han sarcastically said. Changbin none the wiser, asked what friend and continued to the sofa where he would slumber some more. But as soon as he laid down, he stood straight up and realized what Han was talking about. 

“Is that Y/N?,” he asked shockingly.

Everyone laughed but Changbin’s first reaction was to ask where they had found this video. Han shared a photo of what he saw that morning and Changbin became a bashful kid. He screamed in retaliation and tried to turn off the tv, only to be met with the other members wresting him. He screamed for them to turn it off but they were having so much fun laughing as Changbin struggled. Seungmin, the only one unbothered, wanted to calm everyone down and turned the tv off. Everyone sighed in disappointment and stopped play fighting with Changbin. Bang Chan called out for them to stop and for them all to quickly begin making breakfast because they had a loaded schedule ahead of them. 

That was the start to their busy month. For the next couple of that week, they worked hard to complete their activities for STAYs to enjoy, only occasionally cracking inside jokes about you to Changbin. Every joke, even small, made Changbin stop in his track and blush though. He pretended he didn’t know what they were referring to and simply laughed while scratching his head. Eventually, they ran out of jokes to make (since their encounter with you was so short) and stopped. 

But this didn’t stop Changbin from being reminded of you. He rewatched many of your videos but found that he really just wanted to interact with you again. This time around, Changbin was determined to run into you again. He tried to frequent the convenience store every night, whenever possible, but often found the store front without you. He continued coming for about two weeks, making the excuse that he was exercising even though the members already knew why. But no luck of seeing you. 

Scene: Convenience Store

Until one night, when Changbin went really late after almost forgetting his mission. As he approached the store, the front was again empty and he was feeling defeated. He decided maybe it was best to stop trying and went inside to buy something for the last time. He softly went to get himself some chocolate milk and was about to pay for his items, when someone else handed the cashier their drink.

“Please scan his drink too,” that person said. Changbin looked up and it was you. You smiled softly at him, paid for both the drinks and grabbed them. You walked out to a table out front and Changbin continued to stare in confusion.

“Well aren’t you going to join me?” you casually asked him. 

Changbin quickly collected him and sat next to you. For the first few moments, he remained silent as you handed him his drink and sipped on your tea. You casually looked over to him and asked if he was going to drink his drink. He answered with a soft “oh” and started to open his drink when you placed your cup down and took in a soft but deep breath. 

You looked down at your watch and saw that it read “11:11PM” and quickly told Changbin, “Quick, make a wish it’s 11:11.” You squinted your eyes, held your hands tightly to your chin and made a wish. Changbin slowly copied your gesture but ended up just looking at you as your nose crinkled and eyebrows twitched. But as soon as he saw you put your hands down, he closed his eyes and pretended that he made a wish. He squinted like his life depended on it and you couldn’t help but let out a little laugh. He opened one of his eyes and looked to see what you were laughing at. 

“Don’t laugh,” he shyly said. This made you blush more and you just ended up staring into the street. Changbin fixed his posture, and sipped on his drink. With the awkward silence looming, you gathered all your courage again and decided to start the conversation.

“Let’s try again.. okkay. I’m Y/N and it’s nice to meet you,” you started. Changbin let out a small giggle and smiled. 

“Hi, I’m Changbin. It’s nice.. to meet you.. too,” he answered. You responded back and told him you were a big fan, to which he thanked you. You didn’t know what to say after that so you quickly thought of games you used to play back home. You decided on “21 questions.”

“Let’s play 21 questions, okkayy. We each take turn asking and answering questions okay,” you told him. Changbin was intrigued by this foreign game and agreed.

“I’ll start okay.... Uhm.... Oh I know, Do you put you put on one sock, one shoe, and then the next sock and shoe or do you put both sock and then shoes?” you asked seriously. Changbin immediately started giggling at your silly questions. You smiled while asking why he was laughing. You really wanted to know.

“I put both socks on and then my shoes,” he answered, still laughing. You nodded in approval and then told him it was his turn.

“Who is your Bias in Stray Kids?”

“Hyunjin-ie” you blurted. Changbin’s face turned disappointed and you quickly said “I’m just kidding kekeke... It’s Changbin-ie. His rap and face are perfect.” This made Changbin blush and giggle.

“If there was a zombie apocalypse, who would you eat first and why? Your mom or your dad?”

You two continued your questions long into the night. Your questions kept being silly and Changbin’s were more relatable to both of you. By the last question, you both were having so much fun, neither realized how long you had been out. All that could be heard was laughter and wheezing. This was the most fun either of you had had in a  while and did not want the night to end. But the next work day was rolling around the corner and you needed your rest. 

“I had so much fun playing this game with you Changbin. May we meet here again?” you bravely asked. He answered back that he couldn’t make any promises because they would be busy again and that he would try his best. So, you suggested on a day sometime in the future and gave him your email.

“Let me know if you can make it or of a better day okkay.” you added. You both waved while saying goodbye and went home. 

With the start of a comeback, Changbin was only able to email you that he would be too busy to meet you on the day you suggested. He said he would follow up once he was not longer busy. Almost a whole month passed by and did not email. You weren’t disappointed though, because you knew he was busily promoting. So you didn’t email him and just supported him like a fan. You bought their album, voted for them and streamed their music. All was good with teaching and silently supporting him, when you received an email with the greatest news ever!! You had won an opportunity to attend a video call event with Stray Kids! 

Scene: Video Call Event

Changbin had such a busy day and was overwhelmed by such a tight schedule. He had no time for himself and felt disappointed that everything needed all of his investment and attention but couldn’t give his all. Nothing seemed to go as plan and he was now stressing and anxious about nothing and everything. He knew he had a fan event later and all the chaos to get him looking the part and being mentally prepared was overwhelming. He went to the washroom to cry for a moment and came back. 

Once the first fan call started, he felt drained. He wasn’t feeling excited as of late but didn’t want to make fans feel bad so he tried extra hard to be cheerful and cute. He joked with them, made silly faces, comforted them and made all their calls worth whiled.  But, Changbin was feeling incredibly drained now. He didn’t know how he would make it through the next call. He quickly slapped himself awake and forced a smile. As soon as he heard the call ring though, he grew exhausted. But he only had one more call so he kept it in.

“Hellooooooooo,” he exclaimed when the fan picked up the call. 

“Helloooooo....” you shyly said, coming out from the corner. “It’s nice to meet you again.... How have you been?” you asked. Just saying that made you feel so shy, so you quickly covered your mouth and softly giggled.

“Youre my last call for the day and my favorite. this night is ending swell.” you continued. But he did respond.

“You must be very tired....” you said realizing how late it was and how blank his face looked. You could tell that he had a rather long day because his eyes were a but more red. So your excitement changed from one of a young adoring fan to a caring and nurturing friend. Not wanting him to force a smile or speak when he didn’t need to, you asked him if he could just listen while you just shared about yourself so he  could rest. He wasn’t actually listening to what you were saying, so it took him a moment to respond. When he realized what was said he softly nodded his head. Only after looking at you did he realize who you were. He immediately became so embarrassed and nervous that his legs shook uncontrollably and the table started to shake. He began smiling and giggling.

You quickly decided you would share just make up an acrostic poem with his name. You hoped to lighten the mood as well as make it interesting. So you pondered for a moment to come up with something sweet and when you were ready, you clapped your hands. 

“Okay, I’m ready.”

“Seo”

“So when are you going to apologize for crashing into me?.... Remember?.... When you fell from heaven and thought you landed on a stump?”

“Chang”

“Chang Bin ah, I’m just kidding. You didn’t fall from heaven. God just threw you away because he was tired of competing with a more handsome God.” 

“Bin” 

“Bin (Been) a bit since I’ve been in Heaven. Do you think you can take me there again?“

You immediately covered your face, feeling completely embarrassed from being so soft and Changbin let out a soft, high-pitched giggle. Just then, the ringer went off and your call was coming to an end. You quickly said your goodbye and waved uncontrollably. Changbin waved back but didn’t realize that the call was ending, until he registered your goodbye. He was shocked and the video ended. Your last image of him was of a shocked lost child and you were so happy that you helped distract him.

oh okay! well i basically bias half of skz shhdhd other than hyunjin i bias hyung line! I've been biaswrecked by changbin so hard that he also became my bias 😂😂

I'm not sure if you're curious about my opinion about all the members so I'll go with my bias line now but let me know if i should tell you about the others as well :3

so for hyunjin. idk people often see him as the ✨drama llama✨ but for me he means so much more. it's incredibly hard for me to verbalize my feelings but it's especially hard when it comes to hyunjin hsbdhd what i love the most about him is that he's a good listener. for me personally that's very important. I've had some bad experiences when i was trying to tell my friends about my struggles but they brushed it aside and i was :/// even if someone can't give advice because they might feel like it's not their place to or they don't have that much knowledge about something it's still important to be there and hear the other out. and i feel like hyunjin is that person. the members mentioned it multiple times that they go to hyunjin with their struggles because he's there for them and I'm like :')))) but other than that he's just so so charismatic!! i can't help but always look for him. there's so much talent and intuition and creativity in him when it comes to music it's just wonderful!!💞💞 and he's so adorable and kindhearted and sensitive and empathetic and- 😍😍😍 i love watching his vlives because it's so warm and comforting and he truly means a safe space for me even though he's not physically here. and I'll stop now because there's just so much more about him that i could write a whole ass novel but.. yeah 😂😂😂

mr bang chan.. ✨ he was my very first bias even back then when i didn't know much about stray kids. he's truly one of a kind :'))) what i like most about him is his selflessness. he's always there no matter what, for his members, fans, everyone. he prioritizes everyone else's well being and lets the spotlight to be on others. even if he's struggling he still worries about others. he's just such an amazing and wonderful human being and i wish more were like him. he's officially stays' safe space. i have so much respect and admiration for him 😭😭😭 i just wish he would look out for himself a little more :((( he gives us so much and he deserves the whole universe for that :((( i love him so much!!

tsundere boy minho hshdhdhb i love love love the way he shows his love!! i can actually relate to that because for me it's hard to verbalize my feelings and he does these smol actions like idk buying you your fav food or helping you study :')))) i just find it more meaningful? like he actually shows he cares and he's there. even if it's in a very subtle way. you don't always need big words or actions to show your love :')))) he's a wonderful boy and it saddens me when i see people making him look like the bad guy :((( and also his talent!!! i wish he'd be more recognized for it. he's vocals and dancing!!! chef's kiss!!! and he's improving so fast and I'm just so proud of him :')))) and his sense of humor 😭😭 pls he really thinks outside of the box!! i think he's an incredibly intelligent dude and that's very sexc of him!!!

P2 of the Primer - Minho!

Fandom primer for fandom feels.

So, Minho, dance leader!

Minho (Lee Know, Lino...) is the Stray Kids’ Marilla Cuthbert. Very controlled with showing his feelings. Wants to feed everyone. Hard working and practical. Dresses like an old woman who is constantly freezing.

His lack of desire to embarrass himself on screen is very relatable to all anxious perfectionist introverts. He often gets confused for shy or cold because of this, when he will just not do silly things in front of the camera if he’s not sure of the result. His terrible art? He knows it’s terrible and that’s acceptable. His amazing dancing? He knows it’s amazing and that’s acceptable. Things he’s not sure about which include being vulnerable in front of strangers? NOT ACCEPTABLE. I respect that. So this “primer” will not perpetuate any “mean-ho” ideas thank you bye. (Felix calls him tsundere so if you see me use it, it’s not my fault.)

Anyway Minho is a dancer. That was his job before he joined SKZ (he toured with bts etc) and it was his primary role in SKZ for a while. When he first joined he wasn’t a good singer or rapper, but he would have been ok if he wasn’t constantly shaking because he was convinced he’d get kicked out. Which is valid because he did get kicked out.

oh also - I will treat his and Felix’s story as if the elimination wasn’t a setup just because whatever else was going on, they thought it was real.

His singing voice wasn’t great so he was asked to rap instead. He had never done it but said he’d be willing to try. They were given... what? No time? To prepare for that change and famously, Changbin rapped backup for him and Han held his hand and timed the beat with it.

so i cried, and then he did get eliminated because he messed up the lyrics next time so i cried more and then he sent a final message and i FUCKING BAWLED.

To Han: “The time I failed, was it because you weren’t holding my hand?”

Changbin helped him a lot during practice for the second song and they both felt so bad for different reasons. Minho kept saying he was sorry that someone younger than him had to be helping him and that he was failing despite it. “If I had slept one hour less, would I have been able to do it better?” and Changbin with “What did I do for him, that I couldn’t teach him better?” Anyway this show was torture but I’m gonna go back to the good stuff now.

Minho got to come back and they were a band happily ever after. Before the elimination tho he helped the other members with their dance routines. So, shit i learned about kpop peripherally: most bands are made by formula like “2 members rap, 2 members dance, 2 members sing” or something like that. Minho could dance and Changbin could rap and Seungmin could sing and the goal is rarely to get everyone to be great at everything. And Minho was like “nah.” And he made it his goal to make everyone as good a dancer as possible. So while others were helping him with singing and rapping, he was helping them with dancing.

For me a very important scene in the show was when Bang Chan kinda lost it at IN’s lack of ability to dance and he had everyone stand aside and kept telling IN to try again and Minho gave Bang Chan side-eye and went over to IN to teach him how to do it better.

and Minho’s face just saying “you’re not helping” as he walked over in clear defiance of any hierarchy.

So Minho’s whole approach to the group was “I will help everyone be better at dancing”. According to Chan he picked Minho with the idea that Minho would be in charge of dancing. Which is a big fucking deal. For Bang Chan personally and band as a whole.

Changbin asking this question, who else. Chan was like “that phrasing doe?” But eventually:

(Changbin is listening but also not giving a shit, he’s just waiting for Chan to be done so he can ask what his role is and be told he’s the visual, Minho feeds him so fucking well.)

In group dances Minho tends to not stick out. In fact, Minho would really like it if no one stuck out. His goal is to have them all as synchronized as possible and he’s really good at it.

His solos fucking murder us every time tho :(

Oh yeah. He’s very good at his job. He has also gotten SO MUCH better at singing. I don’t think he gets enough credit for how fucking hard he must have worked on that on top of everything else they do. I know the color of his voice doesn’t pop out like Seungmin or IN’s, but he can hold his own now. (His parts in Slump and Neverending story for example. Slump in particular because apparently Han wrote that whole ass song to fit HIS high notes and everyone just went “I guess” and then Han said “but I’ll only rap in it”.)

But enough about how much I respect him as an artist. Let’s talk about how if he is your favorite in the band, there’s a 99% chance your kink is being spit on followed by a good aftercare. Look I don’t make the rules. Just accept it like Hyunjin has.

Did he tickle him after that? Who knows. Not Hyunjin.

but he feeds him well so it’s all good.

In fact, other than making everyone dance well, Minho’s second mission in life is to make sure everyone is well fed. (He is definitely that grandmother who will tell you you’ve gained weight and then get upset when you don’t eat everything she made for you.)

Life is too short for a full compilation of Minho feeding people so here’s a little vid and a few pics.

How is this post still fucking going? How do I have so many thoughts on this one man wtf? Anyway just a quick note about his ex husband.

Back in the olden days Minho made lunch and wrote a lovely thank you letter to Seungmin and things were great. Now they jokingly call each other the divorced couple and even though they are roommates they both claim they can’t be roommates. I have a theory that could be way off but I will type it up here anyway. My theory hearkens back to the first paragraph which is that Minho doesn’t like doing things in front of the camera when he’s not sure how it’s gonna end up. And I think Seungmin for his own reasons isn’t very expressive either. And maybe sometimes on camera he didn’t react like Minho needed him to. And it ended in Minho adjusting his on camera attitude. Again, I could be way off, but the way I see it, there is safety in teasing. The same way he’ll show off his giraffe picture and be like “isn’t it beautiful” when he clearly has functional eyes, he can show his friendship with Seungmin and say “lol isn’t it horrible” and he gets the expected feedback and it’s fine. It’s better than being seen as overly needy or reaching out and not getting what you want. And tbh I think he and Seungmin pingpong this at each other and this is why every tsundere needs a Felix or Han to hug them despite the shit that’s coming out of their mouth.

But Seungmin can still recognize him by his tiddies so clearly they’re fine off camera.

As far as fan stuff goes, Minho has a regular live where he eats delicious food and talks to fans. Sometimes fans are really shitty and he plays it off but he is human and y’all need to get your shit together. But since all his fans are subs it all works out in the end. (Go on, tell me he’s your bias and you’re not a sub, I won’t believe you.)

Oh PS: I am not getting into Minho and Han now. Maybe ... MAYBE by the time I’m on Jisung’s profile I’ll be emotionally ready for that.

Jongdae (EXO): The guy that everyone knows because he’s the one with that distinguishable laugh. The class clown that knows the limits and only crosses them on rare occasions. You think you know him but then he’ll say something that you never knew about him. Craves his independence but is the quiet one when in a large group, smiling as he watches the more energetic ones run about. An old soul trapped in a young body.

Yoongi (BTS): The one who devotes himself to his work and rarely sees the light of day. His room is littered with empty to go cups of coffee mixed with his own assortment of coffee mugs Coffee ring stains on furniture. You think he’s not listening or paying attention but when you least expect it, he’ll quietly do something or hand you a gift that he knows you treasure. He’ll never ask for cuddles, but he’ll always give them to you and refuse to let you go when you try to get up. Wise beyond his years because he’s suffered and doesn’t wish it on anyone else.

Yuta (NCT): The popular guy that at first everyone warns you about, but once you get to know him yourself, you don’t know why they warned you in the first place because he’s a total sweetheart. The guy who flirts with everyone and anyone, but remains loyal to his girl. He’s never without his iced coffee, and he’s dyeing his hair in the bathtub with a friend to help make sure it doesn’t go too wrong. Will entertain your drunk texts. He’s the one to text at 2 am when you’re feeling alone and down and he’ll do what he can to lift you back up with nothing but the truth.

Hongjoong (Ateez): He’s the guy who doesn’t give a shit about trends or styles, he creates his own. The guy who does the piercings at the local tattoo shop knows him by name because he’s gotten so many of his piercings done there. He is the Fashion DIY King. Will roast his friends the hardest  because he loves them the most and takes it when they dish it back. Somehow manages to rock hairstyles - long live the mullet - that no one thought should have ever existed. Don’t let him cook though. If he cooks you’ll end up with food poisoning. He’s the one who will let you try makeup tricks and new products on him. Secretly amazing at painting nails.

Wonho (Monsta X): He’s the guy friend that you never expected to be friends with. Him? You? Total opposites on a physical scale. On completely different levels. Once you get to know him, he’s a total teddy bear. Doesn’t question it when you suddenly appear and hug him without saying a word, he’ll simply hug you back while maintaining the conversation he had going. Or he’ll simply surprise you with a hug because he likes them.

Bang Chan (Stray Kids): He’s the one that always has his earbuds in even during class. Like he’s the guy that has the earbud going through the sleeve of his hoodie and is pressing his palm against his ear to listen to the music. Listens to everyone, even if he doesn’t know them that well and gives really good advice if they ask for it.

Jackson (Got7): The guy that you can hear a mile away. Hyper. Can’t sit still to save his life. He was the guy that you’d see doing laps in the hallway with his friends when he should have been in class, but he was the nice one. Passionate and when you ask him about what he’s working on, he’ll talk about it for hours. Will also apologize multiple times for going on but then continue to go on.

Do you like making your own characters, or do you usually write about real people?

I like to do both. Honestly, it’s kinda like a mix of both. With some of my fics, the only thing that makes them fanfics are that I’m using the real person’s name, and I’ll pin point on certain aspects of their physical features. In Brotið Hjarta, the only thing that connects to it being Namjoon is his name, and maybe his hair style/color and ear piercings, everything else was what I imagined it to be.

From everyday life, sometimes I’ll be daydreaming and it kinda morphs into a story or a fanfic and so I’ll make notes so that I don’t forget it.

day6 saw stray kids jamming and clapping a lot when shoot me was playing. wonpil turned towards jisung, who was the closest to day6 and was sitting beside wonpil, and started laughing a little which in turn caused jisung to raise both arms and do a small WOO!!!

WHY?????????”

jisung then also said “young k sunbaenim i’ll work hard to be a cool artist like you~!” LIKE FATHERS LIKE SONS....

3. when stray kids passed by young k’s university and bang chan was like “i want to visit young k hyung!! i miss you hyung i want to see you!”

4. when stray kids attended day6′s concert and seungmin was having the TIME OF HIS LIFE there was a short fancam of them during the concert and seungmin was jumping so much and waving his arms and lightbands the most excitedly

he and jeongin also did a heart gestures towards day6!!! seungmin was so cute constantly holding the day6 banner with this huge smile on his face... and jeongin as usual had the brightest cutest smile

when seungmin posted the strayday group photo he literally tagged it with tags like #SeungminIsASuccessfulFanboy and #PilThroughTheNight (in ref to the fact that wonpil covered IU’s Through the Night during the concert)

he also said he learned a lot that night and he hopes to be as great as day6 one day and my heart just MELTED 

day6 did a shout out to stray kids and wonpil was like “stray kids are my days now as well~ pls register ~ (i cant rlly find an accurate translation of what he said in the last part but i guess its somewhere along those lines!)” and young k said “i heard they always like our songs and are mydays”, he, sungjin and jae then started singing hellevator

5. speaking of seungmin and wonpil, how can we forget seungmin’s love for wonpil??? boy is literally whipped

8. and of course sungjin and young k watching the busking performance of hellevator!!! and they kept making such cute reactions and comments <3 they were super impressed by changbin and bang chan, and were especially proud of chan which makes sense since theyve known him the longest and also they kept commenting on how cute jeongin was lolol same guys

9. and just,,.... bang chan and young k’s brotherly relationship is so sweet

chan thanked young k three times in the debut album gratitudes section - he put in all of young k’s names LMAO (younghyun, brian and young k)

in the recent vlives when chan plays day6 songs and hes like “ive lived with day6 sunbaenims for a long time but im especially close to young k hyung!! he gives me a lot of tips about song writing!!! i miss you hyung!” 

and when he was listening to sing me he kept replaying young k’s part and he also said ‘i havent heard young k hyung rapping in a while - its amazing.” (SAME CHAN) and then got into the name crisis too LMAO (”young k hyung, brian hyung.. younghyun hyung-” - chan, 2019)

speaking of chan and listening to sing me he immediately went WOW once the chorus came up like same

after the hellevator busking performance chan hugged young k SO TIGHTLY it was so heartwarming

sungjin and dowoon talked a lil about chan once and dowoon said chan helped him a lot when dw was still a trainee

after MGA, felix was like “oh day6 is here too!!! this is their namecard~ day6~” and showed the “DAY6″ name outside of their dressing rooms

felix was the like “seungmin show us the dance!!” and of course, its the iconique shoot me dance, (seungmin still did it)

young k then passed by while they were livestreaming and was clapping and was like “congrats! congrats! congrats!!” and all of skz were bowing and thanking him

but you decided to give it a try anyway and opted for a sentimental movie

the room was almost empty

there were just some couples

you thought that maybe he was waiting for his girlfriend

at least, you weren’t the only one

you ended up going to the movie theatre more often than expected

at first, it was for the movies

but then you realised you went there just to see him

This is my contribution to the soft k-pop ask. 

1. What k-pop songs make you feel at home?

A song I think of home is “Coming Home” by JJ Project (the subunit with JB and Jinyoung from GOT7). It gives me an urban vibe since I am from a major city myself. 

2. What idol(s) do you associate with kindness?

Bang Chan from Stray Kids. I think he’s a little too kind and humble at times, but that’s another story for another time. Another idol I think of is Jeongyeon/Jihyo from Twice; they are sassy but also caring for their members. 

3. Has a k-pop song or group helped you through some difficult times? If so, and if you feel comfortable, share how.

A song that’s helped me get through my jobless drought was “That’s Okay” by D.O (Kyungsoo) from EXO. I was going through a time where I was receiving literally no job offers and having money issues with school, so this song consoled me in telling me that there is something better ahead and that everything will be alright; all will be resolved. I had moments of jumping off a building because of the lack of progress in my life (also because my grades sucked ass), yet never doing so, but this song assured me that I will be okay, no matter what happens. After all, we are all in this world for a reason. 

4. What idol would you star-gaze with? Why?

I don’t know, maybe Sungjin from Day6. He seems quiet and really cool to talk too; he also looks like he likes to read and learn about the stars. Or Suga from BTS lol. 

5. What’s your favorite ballad?

“Shall We?” by Chen from EXO. It makes me reminisce of falling in love all over again. Any Chen song makes me think of the past; they’re so dreamy. “Hurt Road” by Day6 is also another favorite. 

6. What was your first k-pop group that you stanned? Why did you stan?

GOT7 because of a music video that popped up on my family’s YouTube recommendation on our TV. My first bias (in both K-pop and the group) was Jinyoung because he has a good sense of style and he was exactly how I imagined a k-pop idol to look like; now it’s Youngjae lol. They’re also funny and have killer tracks I would have never considered listening to until recently (February 2019). 

7. Would you rather give or receive a gift from your bias?

I would rather receive a gift. 

8. What are some cute nicknames you have for your biases?

Baby boi/Baby girl (depending on the gender of the idol)

9. What idol(s) would you go to an arcade with? Why?

Youngjae (GOT7), J-Hope/Jin (BTS), Dahyun/Sana/Nayeon (Twice) and Lucas (NCT). They’re all so loud for no reason and would cheer for me even if I lose. 

10. What are some things you associate with your bias?

Hair dye, tattoos, contact lenses, Italian perfume and fire. 

11. What idol(s) would you bake cookies with? Why?

I would like to bake cookies with Rosé from Blackpink. She would be a good friend who I could confess my secrets to. Or Wendy from Red Velvet. 

12. What idol(s) would you like to share comfortable silence with? Why?

Mina from Twice. She’s a beautiful human being and I would want to just look at her without saying anything just to admire her poise/grace. 

13. What idol(s) would you like to share your favorite food with?

I would pull a Joey Tribbiani* (see bottom for reference) on every other idol with the exception of Momo from Twice. She loves to eat different so I would want to share my food with her. 

14. What idol, when they come to mind, makes you feel warm, fuzzy, at home?

Johnny or Bang Chan. IDK they radiate paternal energy and are like father figures in their groups. 

15. Which idol would you like to have a long, deep hug with? Why?

Bang Chan (Stray Kids), Baekhyun (EXO) or Seulgi (Red Velvet). They look like they give good hugs. 

16. What’s your ideal day with an idol(s)?

Walking around the city and having a nice conversation with them about anything (but it was PG). I had a dream about this lol. 

17. What idol(s) would you watch the sunrise with?

Jaehyun from NCT. I don’t know why lol maybe because he looks like a morning person?

18. What idol(s) would you watch the sunset with?

RM from BTS. Same reason as 17, except he looks like a night owl. 

19. Has an idol or group said anything that has stuck with you?

Not said, but has done as time progressed. Suho from EXO manages to deal with his crackhead members (*beagle line*) so well by being cool and calm. Additionally, he and his group have managed to be extremely humble in award shows despite being known as one of the best-selling groups in Korea. 

20. What idol would you like to spend a rainy day in with? What would you do? (please keep it appropriate lmao)

Ten from NCT. We’d watch romantic comedies, listen to music, clean my house and talk. If it stops raining after a while, we would go shopping.  

21. Talk about why you love your bias so much.

I don’t know. He’s loud, super talented, sweet, funny and very clever; he cares so much for his fans to the point where he got a tattoo for them. I didn’t want to follow his group at first, but he’s become my favorite human beings in k-pop because of his radiant personality, visuals and ability to do many things at once. Also, we both have big ears (#bigearsgang). 

22. Would you rather go to Disneyland or Everland with your bias? What would you do there?

Disneyland. We’d ride roller coasters, take pictures and eat. I’ve never heard of everland

23. What do you imagine your bias to smell like?

Cologne, specifically something like that Chanel Bleu one guys are wearing, Acqua Di Parma or Versace Eros. 

24. What do you wish for your bias group or idol in the future?

I wish that PCY gets all the rest he needs. I wish for his group mates (specifically Jongin/Kai and Baekhyun) to get rest; they don’t need to work all the time for our satisfaction. I remember seeing Suho slowly falling asleep at an award show, so they need rest. Same with GOT7 (@/Jackson)

25. What season do you associate a group or idol with? Why?

BTS, Spring. IDK if it’s because of the fact that they have a song called “Spring Day” or their songs give me an overall spring vibe. Them as people, as well as their songs are fresh, like flowers blooming for the first time in the year. 

26. What idol would you like to share childhood stories with?

Honestly, maybe Sorn from CLC. She’s funny and seems like a person who enjoys old stories.

*Joey Tribbiani: In an episode of “Friends”, Joey is telling Phoebe the story of a date he went (who happens to be a friend of Phoebe’s) on and he professes he will not go on a date with her again. He was upset that she (Joey’s date) had take a piece of his food, which tuns out to be fries. Rachel happens to walk in and Phoebe tells his story; Rachel confirms that Joey is like this and has even gotten upset with Rachel’s young daughter Emma because she had taken a few of his grapes, thus his immediate, slightly pathetic yet very iconic: “JOEY DOESN’T SHARE FOOD”.
