in home when dean says “i carried you out the front door” sam says “ you did.” he looks at dean, and when he starts to give a common response “you did?”, it doesn’t come out as a question. instead it’s this realization, an of course you did. john was focused on mary, and dean was focused on sam. john spent the rest of his life in that burning house. dean carried sam out.

sam doesn’t question dean at all, even though asking something like “really?” is a normal response to being told something you didn’t know. he agrees, because the logic of his four year old brother carrying him out of a burning house makes perfect sense to him. he would’ve been more shocked if dean had said that john carried him out. and then dean says “you never knew that?” not “i didn’t tell you that?” as if he genuinely forgets that they don’t share one brain and all his memories aren’t burned into sam’s prefrontal cortex.

Thinking about it now, little Sora might just’ve been straight up traumatized by the thought of a meteor crashing on the island, that his brain forcefully ended up making him forget about it. That’s a normal trauma reaction to some people, it’d confirm the fact that the COM scene did happen and Sora was the scared one, especially since Riku actually remembers it.

In KH1 Sora’s memory of the hidden place literally changes the sentence where he mention the meteor shower to just “did you hear”. Yet, when they later show Riku’s bit of the memory, Sora is talking about “the meteor shower night”.

Do you also know what kind of traumatic-meteor-crashing-looking event Sora forgot?

brokeback mountain babeyyyyy. I feel like i finished this one surprisingly fast. I expected it to take longer mainly cause of the background but after doing the last study I did indeed find it easier to limit my range of values displayed and just simplify what was already there. so like I didnt worry too much about perfect accuracy but more so just getting the general stuff thats actually *noticeable* down rather than shit no one would even notice or that I wouldnt even include in my own work. I think i kinda fucked up with the background of the wall and arm and stuff but i honestly cant tell how to fix it or what I couldve done differently :/ It looks weird and unfinished and just ugly honestly. but oh well. I think the main focus redeems it a bit. perhaaaps I couldve done better with rendering ennis but I wanted to keep him blended in with the background. i didnt wanna end up over rendering him. Perhaps i couldve done a better job of blocking out the shadows tho. Regardless. Im happy with this one :)
