Another GO headcanon/speculation to warm your heart this January
Since the announcement of Series 3 for our beloved Good Omens, the gears in this ol' brain have been turning. Because here's the deal: I love the idea that Aziraphale will have to give us a top-tier performance of the Apology dance, but I also like the idea that Crowley will request a favor he can call in at any time just for funsies. Aziraphale is inherently a little weary of this notion, but he ultimately agrees because, in the end, he loves Crowley and wants to show him that he is willing to do anything for him. And for a while, things just go back to normal. They handle the apocalypse, again, get their cottage in the South Downs, etc. Our ineffable husbands go about their days bickering and enjoying domestic bliss, and Aziraphale almost forgets about the favor his beloved demon has yet to call in. That is until they're back in the bookshop because, let's face it, Aziraphale won't be able to stay away from it for long, and Crowley is lounging on the couch while Aziraphale works (they sent Muriel to go hang out with Nina and Maggie). And like he's done in the past, Crowley decides it's about high time for a nap and decides it's time to call in that favor, resulting in something like;
"Angle," Crowley calls, tipping his head back to glance at the angel, where he's perched in his large, worn chair by his desk, looking over one of his newest bible misprints.
Aziraphale slides his reading glasses off of his nose and into the breast pocket of his button with an affectionate sigh, "Yes, my dear?"
"C'mere."
"Crowley, I'm working," the protest is half-hearted at best, and Crowley's mouths twitch up into a small smirk as Aziraphale carefully closes the book before twisting in his chair to look at the demon.
"Oi, none of that. You promised me a favor, angel, and I'm calling it in."
Aziraphale smiled fondly before rolling his eyes, and Crowley could swear he felt his heart melt a little.
I only ever want to see him smile like that, Crowley thought absently.
"Out of everything in the world- the universe, that an angel could offer you, you're using it for a cuddle?"
"Not JUST a cuddle, angel, I want a nap too." Crowley smiled, tipping his head back to summon Aziraphale closer.
"And you want me to hold you while you nap, I suppose?"
Crowley hummed in the affirmative, "Mmhmm, and I want you to read to me."
"Anything in particular, my love?"
"'Gimme something of Jane's, I wanna see if she can write as good as she can heist."
"How about a nice romance? Something to pair with your Richard Curtis pictures," Aziraphale stands before soothing out his trousers and beginning to search for where Muriel placed his Austen novels in their small reorganizing spree they took while he and Crowley were away getting settled in their cottage.
"No one calls them pictures anymore, Aziraphale, call 'em a movie for Gods-for Satan's- for somebody's sake," Crowley grumbled.
"Very well, is that a yes or a no for the romance?" Aziraphale asked as he located his newfound Austen section, his fingers grazing over the spine of his well-loved copy of Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility before pulling both off the shelf.
"Sure, a romance, sounds lovely. Just grab one and get over here, 'm cold."
"Dearest, you're always cold."
"'M a serpent, angel, I have no temperature control!" Crowley groused, wiggling down onto the sofa to make room for the angel. He levels a small glare at the edge of the narrow sofa before nodding in approval when it expands under his harsh gaze. "It's the middle of winter, 's why I keep a nice warm angel around."
Aziraphale felt his face flush, an odd aspect of the corporation that he'd never get used to. He strolled over to the now slightly larger couch before cupping Crowley's cheek, his heart stuttering when the demon nuzzled into the touch, "Would you like the heated blanket, love?"
Crowley nodded before Aziraphale grabbed it from the end of the couch. He didn't move to plug it in; he just hit the remote, and the blanket spurred into action. The angel then wiggled next to his demon, bringing the tartan blanket, much to Crowley's chagrin, up around the two of them. Crowley is quick to nuzzle his way into the angel's grasp, resting his head on the plush planes of his chest.
"Comfortable?" Aziraphale asks, one arm coming up to wrap around Crowley's shoulders before opening his older editions of Pride and Prejudice. Crowley hums, smiling softly when he feels a soft kiss pressed into his hairline. "Very well, my dear."

Listen, I'm just a sucker for Aziraphale reading to Crowley as he naps (but so is half of the entire fandom, and Crowley, hence this post). Is this a way for me to write it? A little. It's just so soft and domestic, and I really want to see it in series 3. I understand that the ineffable husband's romance won't be the main storyline in s3, but I am frothing at the mouth for some domestic, fluffy, moments between the two of them before we have to say goodbye for good.
sure it’s really silly goofy (and kinda awesome) that q!Roier can absolutely kick q!Cellbit’s ass at PvP but all i can think about is how well spiderbit balances each other out
q!Roier definitely has the upper-hand physically without even needing to go tryhard-mode. and then when he DOES go tryhard-mode… phew (i think a lot about him in the dungeon when they rescued q!Cellbit and q!Felps). i love that q!Cellbit is so insistent on protecting him and it really is sweet but like sir, if anything, your husband is probably gonna be the one protecting you </3
but what q!Cellbit “lacks” in physical strength, at least in comparison to q!Roier, the intelligence??? the man literally figured out broken windows were BRAILLE. he’s one of the smartest people on the island. q!Roier doesn’t do enigmas and shit like that; he helps his husband when asked and goes along for the ride. we’ve all seen him and Richas goofing off while q!Cellbit stresses the fuck out LMAO
BUT THATS WHAT MAKES THEM SO GOOD!! and i’m not saying that q!Cellbit isn’t strong or can’t fight bc i think he can hold his own when he truly tries (he just hasn’t had to fight to survive in a long time). and q!Roier sure as hell isn’t dumb either. hell, he’s probably the most emotionally intelligent person on the island. and i will die on that hill
all that to say, spiderbit balances each other out. they look out for each other. and that’s why i love them so much <3
Sometimes I’ll be fine. Then I remember Aziraphale accidentally Agnes Nutter’ed himself and predicted the very thing he threaten Crowley at the airbase.
“Come up with something or….Or I’ll never talk to you again”
Movik-Taar: Future proprietor of a very popular natural hot spring spa & inn on Vulcan. Husband of T’Meni-bu, Sek’s daughter. He’s self-conscious about his hair loss.
Movik is a braggart, a bit of a lia- exaggerator and a gigantic coward and T’Meni-bu knows that yet earnestly thinks he’s the best thing since sliced bread. I’d say she’s that ‘If I had a lame boyfriend-’ post but she genuinely doesn’t think he’s lame and would be defensive if you said he was. Sek thinks Movik is odious but tries to take solace in the fact that T’Meni finds him extremely pleasant.
T’Meni and Movik were married before either of their pon farrs because T’Meni wanted to and both families saw no reason to delay if that was her wish. Movik wore a toupee to the wedding and was hesitant to take it off in front of her but when he did she just seemed weirdly charmed.
Movik has a Vulcan parental unit (mother, father) who sired him and another father who is Bolian. He has a Bolian younger sister who’s around elementary school aged.
He has a tendency to exaggerate his accomplishments but often quickly backpedals into the truth. He isn’t a malicious person and is actually a bit of a push over. Said he was going into Starfleet most of his life but when he was the age to apply he suddenly said he was going to take over his family’s inn instead.
T’Meni is very bad at doing actual work in the inn but very good at guest relations and trends which makes the inn even more popular. Movik showers her with attention and gifts so she’s perfectly content. Movik thinks she’s an extremely capable, intelligent person (an excellent match!!) and the two are absolutely insufferable together the way close couples are <3

Autumn Brings A Change 1,002 words
“Get away from me, Merlin!”
“Arthur, please! Just trust me! Please!”
Arthur crawled backward, dragging his leg over the ground, sword raised to point at Merlin. “How can I trust you? You lied to me, for years, about everything!”
Arthur finds out about Merlin's magic in the middle of a battle, but once it's over, he can't threaten or get away from Merlin due to a broken leg...
After All This Time 2,661 words
"A thousand?” Arthur’s voice took on a steely edge. “What, days? Weeks? You've hardly changed, Merlin, don't exaggerate.”
"Years.” Merlin gasped. He pushed himself back to stare at Arthur, to run his hands through his damp hair, keep his eyes fixed on Arthur's shocked face, as though he was just a trick of the light that would disappear as soon as Merlin looked away.
"Years." Arthur said, flatly.
"Y-yeah." Merlin's teeth began to chatter. "A thousand, five hundred, and-" a particularly violent shiver ran through him and he stumbled on the muddy lake-bed, but Arthur caught his arm and steadied him again.
"Alright, Merlin, let's get out of the water before we both freeze to death."
Merlin has waited by the lake for more than a thousand years. Finally, his patience is rewarded.

Five Times John and Sherlock Slept Together and One Time They 'Slept' Together ;) 9,830 words
Five times John and Sherlock slept innocently together due to various circumstances and one time they *wink wink nudge nudge* slept together. Contains a bit of pining, a bit of misunderstanding, and a happy ending, if ya know what I mean... ;)
Ever since I first read Eugene Onegin two years ago, and even more now that I had to reread it for school recently, I've been saying that I've never related to a fictional character more than I relate to Tatyana Larina (not counting my own characters, that is, as they are intentional projections). Particularly the verses about Tatyana's childhood hit very close to home. I've been wanting to talk about it for a while but couldn't find a translation of the book that I liked. So, instead of sleeping, I spent 2 hours absolutely torturing my own brain by coming up with my own translation and I'm way too proud not to share.
Eugene Onegin, chapter 2, verses 25, 26 and 27, translated with the original temp and rhyming scheme intact, by yours truly <3
