#ok now imagine them as teen magical girls

Oh god is my fnafhs phase coming back. I have an AU Idea and it's very magical girl-y help (a Lil summary in the tags)
#basically y'know lily abby maggie toddy and mai? all the best girls? (ok except Abby maybe but I'll save her dw)#ok now imagine them as teen magical girls#a normal 2000's/2010's bff group who also kick ass in pretty dresses#now imagine mai and puppet being magical beings from another planet#kinda like the winx club characters that look completely human but they're fairies n stuff? there's a reason why the twins can look like-#Normal humans tho: their true form is a being like Maipett. they're two maipetts#BUT they can shapeshift to look just like any living beings they see#so they can very easily blend in with humans#now what are these beings? basically they're magical dudes that control the “Shadows”. evil spirits that can destroy life in pretty much-#any abitated planet in irreversible ways#one day some shadows breached from the maipetts control and directed themselves to earth as it was the closest living planet#so mai and Charlie as the strongest most able shadowseekers (group of specialized Maipetts with the mission to bring back Shadows to-#security in case of breaching) got a mission to go to earth find the shadows and bring them back. even destroy them if necessary#now what's the group mentioned earlier have to do with all this?#after saving lily from a shadow attack her and mai become “friends” (keep in mind Mai doesn't really know what friends even are)#but with time they do become very close#and since the shadows are never way too far from each other meaning that other shadows might be hiding in the same town Mai wanted to keep-#Lily safe. so she gave her a tiny rock that contains Maipett powers (Mai likes to keep them on her belt for decoration) and showed her-#basic attacks to at least keep Lily safe in case she gets attacked by a shadow and Mai happens to not be there#after a while tho Abby (Lily's roommate and childhood friend) finds out about her friends' powers and she thinks it's soo cool and things#but Lily and Mai especially aren't so cool about it cus pretty much all the situation is supposed to be a secret#so they and abby make a promise: Abby gets a magical gem and of course some lessons how to use it's powers and she keeps the secret#Abby agrees and she joins the group (that remains unnamed until the others join)#Toddy and Maggi were found by Charlie in the meantime. Charlie saved them both from a shadow attack and so Mai decided to give them-#magical rocks aswell with the deal that Charlie was the one to teach them about their powers this time#Toddy decides to name the group “The Shadowseekers” to reference mai and Charlie's literal job#and yeah they go on adventures around the city™ and sorroundings beating shadow's ass and learning to use their powers and work together#while also keeping the secret#idk it came up to me like some minutes ago#fnafhs

Ballet au idea 1- Schedules
Ok so I figured out what Mirabel's, Antonio's, and Luisa's schedules could be like;
Mirabel started ballet at 6 or 7 which gives her 8 or 9 years' experience so she is at intermediate level so she can do classes/practice Friday to Sunday if she can. If she's tired she can of course skip days.
Luisa started practice in her pre-teens? I feel like she maybe started at 13 up to 19 which gives her 7 years' experience. So, I think she's at an intermediate level so she can probably do Friday to Sunday like Mirabel.
Antonio started to practice at three but seeing as he was so young, he really didn't have a clear schedule. He was just in the studio when Pepa, Felix, or Camilo couldn't watch him. which wasn't all that often.
(But I also had this little idea where Felix would stay in the studio and watch Antonio dance with the girls as best as he could. It makes Felix smile at his adorable attempts.)
So maybe when after he turns 5 (or a few months before), he can take maybe one or two classes a week. Like only Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays or Friday to Saturday. And trust me, if Antonio ever misses a class, he's gonna be mean mugging all day.
He likes to have classes whenever his Primas have practice because it's fun with them. He can practice with just him and his abuela but still, he likes his Primas there too.
Ballet Idea 2 - shoes
So, you know those pretty shoes I showed you earlier in the au? I was having a hard time figuring out how such pretty shoes could stay pretty while being comfortable enough to wear during shows and I figured it out...magic.
When Mirabel and/or Luisa does a show, Mira will design some pretty pointe shoes like these:
Tumblr media
Casita can give them some special magic so she (or Luisa) can dance in them comfortably without breaking them in just to wear them.
Ballet idea 3 - stress
I think Luisa (at 16 or 17) maybe vented to Alma that she does get stressed out from working so much so Alma loosens her grip on her chores a little.
"If you ever feel tired or too stressed just come home and relax. Practice some ballet if you feel like, and if someone has an issue have them come to me."
So, lulu can squeeze in two or three classes (mostly from Friday to Sunday) as her way of taking a break from chores. other times she reads, naps, or just hangs out in the studio and watches her prima dance. Bonus if Antonio and/or Felix are there to talk to.
Ballet Idea 4 - Shows
Luisa honestly loves performing with her sister, even if she doesn't have that much experience (and technically she's not far behind). The first show they performed together was swan lake. Luisa was the white swan and Mirabel was the black swan.
Lulu insisted that she should have been the black swan and Mirabel should have been the white swan, but Mira wanted her sister to have the spotlight too. And Mira didn't mind being the villain in the show, it's a little amusing to her.
And Julieta just loves she has two beautiful dancing daughters and makes it her mission to go to whatever show they have.
Ballet idea 5 -
Antonio likes being in his primas pointe shoes, it's cute. that's all I've got for now, but I'll think of more.
For Mirabel schedule, it’d probs be Monday to Friday, Saturday she has to take a break (Alma won’t let her dance, neither will Julieta), Sunday’s, prolly not⁉️⁉️ Luisa’s could work, if it’s two to three days, maybe four (a week I’m assuming), it’s every other day, seeing she, even with breaks, does still actively help in town, but it’s still often enough so that’s she’s at a (slightly lower) intermediate level under Mirabel. Honestly Antonio not having a real schedule makes sense. Probably just whenever he feels like popping in and joining huh 😭
Loving the shoes 🗣️ tbh magic makes a lot of senses. Like how else would that work 😭
Shoutout to Alma for listening to Luisa. I imagine she probably felt more comfortable talking to her. She has been dancing alongside her Mirabel the past 3 years, so there’s a lot more communication. Love that <3333
I LOVE SWAM CAKE SM 🦅🦅🦅 Luisa was SO nervous, she kept pacing backstage. Even after Mirabel’s reassurance that it was her show, and she was fine being Odie, she was still a lil spooked. But it worked out. Doing a one shot in this hol up…🚶‍♀️💨 Antonio wearing pointe shoes, obviously they fit. Obviously.

Azya Zaavim
Funny little guy what more can I say! Ok, I can say a lot actually. He's 42 and lives in the capital of country Ajiadiali, which exists on an alternative Earth. He loves Sanrio and all things cute and pastel but because of his job he can't express himself too often. So, he's a politician currently (he used to be a popstar but then his band's frontman died)! He also unfortunately suffers from depression and anxiety which is probably not great with his current career. Oh, also he suffered a hemorrhagic stroke when he was 30 and still suffers from some complications of it. My plan for him was to have a webcomic (Tomorrow It Will Rain) about him but we will see how it turns out? For now it's mostly my world building project. Aside from that until the story happens he's doing fine. He got married to a man who was his best friend before they started dating a few years ago and they have two fat orange cats together. Tooth rooting fuff. But watch out.
Supersonics/ Policy Of Truth characters:
Yuurg O'kweensgeyt
Alien lost in a new big city. He basically comes from a mostly human colony, from a family that expected a lot from him. When his disability made it impossible for him to become a professional racer (or rather the physical fitness requirements) he ran away from them and tried living on a huge multiracial transit station where he befriended (or rather was befriended by) a famous local detective. And still became a racer because fuck yeah. He's kinda cranky and it takes him a lot of time to open up to people.
Javier Caliban
The detective! Very outgoing and friendly but sooner or later you will realize that you actually don't know anything about him! Does anyone? Does he?
Cherry Bomb
An alien rock star! Not much to say about her yet. There is some more musicians that I had in mind for that universe but who knows what will come out of it.
Savyir the Wizard
A personification of my #personal posts. Or just my tumblrsexymansona? I dunno. He's made of light and top of his head is a literal textpost.
Małgorzata Bzura
A magic spells student (engineering). Honestly I've made her when I was 14 and mostly forgot about her but she's revelant to me again. She lives in modern fantasy Poland and I like imagining her studying on my uni. I probably should draw her one day again. Her only backstory is that when she was a teen she wanted to conjure a spell on herself that would give her a permanent tattoo to look cool but messed it up (bc of not being a professional obv) and is now stuck with a Van Dyke type beard which can't be shaved off. She ended up actually liking it a lot tho. She's certain that girls love it (mixed results).
Savyir the Farmer
My main Stardew Farmer. Not the best person but he's doing his best. Dates Shane - not in a "I will fix him" way but in a "two guys who are just as bad" way. They might have some good impact on each other tho. We will see.
Gideon (the Farmer)
A guy from my second save, not much to say about him bc I only have 6 hours there.
Niemir Szumilas
(huge post about him anyway)

warning ! pop girl project lore talking . The topic is card attributes
like I said I wanna like research game graphics n how to approach mine in future, but I have sketches in procreate of the general ~vibe~ I wanna go for, esp in regards to card attributes.
Usually in rhythm games there are just three, made vague on purpose so as to fit as many themes and genres as possible per attribute. This, I think, is to limit the number of variables the devs r forced to work with.
But since this isn’t a real game I can go Pokémon on this >>>>:3 and unlike most idol games, attributes would be assigned to individual cards, not the idols themselves, due to the inspo being kpop concepts
Mature - costumes or songs with mature content (while this mostly refers to sensuality, it can also apply to things like more grown up themes - Stella Jang’s “Villain” was a main inspo)
Cute - self explanatory. Candy Pop by Twice, I’m Poppy by That Poppy, that kinda thing
Cyber - ok maybe controversial but I felt this was best for capturing both the 2000s pop “future is now” obsession and current day sci fi concepts; think Doja’s Planet Her, TLC’s Scrubs and Girl’s Generation’s Mr Taxi, Run Devil Run, etc
Dark - hnnng again, me kinda genre and aesthetic mashing here. Trying to split hairs with “horror”, “dark” and “cult” concepts was too much, so I grouped them under Dark. Think Girls by Nature or Turn off the Light by Kim Petras
Elegant - Twice’s Feel Special inspired this one, things like FH’s Deliver fit too
Fantasy - WJSN’s Save Me Save You, Black Magic by Little Mix
Teen - This one’s a huge mixed bag. It encompasses everything from Teen Crush kpop to school day themed songs and songs inspired by teen films. Crush by Weki Meki, Oogoe Diamond by AKB48 and The Feels by Twice
Powerful - self empowerment themes !! women crushing it at work themes !! Citizen Queen, Fifth Harmony, Lee Hyo Ri, Tsai Jolin and XG all have songs that correlate to this (to varying degrees)
Girly - ranges from women being badass things while in pink ! (Think Kill this Love by Blackpink or Mirror Mirror by Kamille) . To the softest fluff imagineable, like Exist for Love by Aurora and most of Raveena’s songs . Wahoo.
Athletic - it happens more often than u think. Touchdown by Twice, Tsugi no Season by BNK48 (yes ino it’s from akb. The Thai version is better xdddd)
Party - holiday by snsd, antidote by Faky. Usually “summer” songs but I didn’t wanna limit it to seasonal songs
Retro - so self explanatory it doesn’t need an example but. Say So by Doja Cat xd
Quirky - pon pon pon by Kyary Pambu Pambu, carmelldansen by ..,, carmell

Time is a social construct pt. 15
Mandalorian Time Travel AU
Summary: Din is trying his best, ok? But between trying to find a teacher for his magic kid and learning there were other Mandalorians who follow a different creed, Din is very confused and lost. So when he ends up on a plant that his HUD says is Manda’yaim and encounters two teens on the run from a group of dar’mandas called Death Watch, Din figures he way as well help them. He never meant to adopt them. Or become Mand’alor.
A/N: Ok, I realize that Satine probably wouldn't be referred to as a duchess before her dad dies, but I also don't think its the biggest issue, and I don't feel like trying to fix it. So let's just say in the Mandalorian duchy, the duke and duchess are the oldest man and woman in the family. So, Satine's mom is dead so she's default Duchess.

           Jinn meet them at the door, face grim. No words were spoken when he stepped aside and pressed the button to open the door. When the door opened, Obi-wan was the only reason Bo-Katan didn’t fling herself across the room. The teen had a hand on the girl’s shoulder, keeping her feet solidly on the ground. But he wasn’t restraining Din, so either he trusted Din not to act rashly or thought Bo-Katan was a bigger threat.
         Satine was trapped against her desk by a semi-circle of advisors, all of whom had had their backs to the door and were now half-turned towards them. It let Din she Satine. He could just make out the tears gathered in her eyes and her hands twisting around each other. She was bracing herself on the desk, and her jaw was clenched.
         Din handed Grogu off to Obi-wan and took a menacing step forward. The advisors all flinched back. Din rested a hand on his blaster. “Get out,” he growled.
         One brave man tried to argue. “Who do you think-“
         “Out. Now,” Din demanded, taking another step forward and lifting his blaster slightly out of the holster.
         “The Duchess has just received terrible news,” Obi-wan said, straining to sound calm. “I would imagine she needs some time to process.”
         “Yeah. So leave my sister alone,” Bo-Katan said. “I bet you can deal with most of the stuff yourselves.”
         The brave- more like stupid- advisor opened his mouth again but was cut off by Satine. “I have had a difficult few months,” she said quietly. Despite that, all of the attention was on her now. Satine was looking at her feet. “I was never truly safe, and when I finally returned home, I found my only parent left was gone, and this palace could no longer be considered safe. I ask you to find it in your hearts to allow me a day to process and grieve.”
         “If you have any immediate concerns,” Jinn spoke up for the doorway, surprising some of the room, “You may take it up with me. That is if the Duchess does not mind.”
         Satine nodded. “Thank you, Master Jinn. That would be greatly appreciated.”
         Jinn bowed. Bo-Katan decided to speak up, “One day is nowhere near enough.”
         Satine frowned and when to scold her sister, but Din interrupted her and said, “She’s right.”
         “Maybe try two days, then slowly start tackling things,” Obi-wan suggested. Jinn immediately agreed, and after a moment, Satine did too.
         The advisors looked stunned, but Din got them moving with a sharp jerk of his head towards the door, where Jinn helpfully stepped to the side and swept his arm out in invitation.
         “Let us find somewhere else to speak,” Jinn said as the advisor streamed out behind him. Before the man left the room, he cast one more look at Satine and shared a glance with Obi-wan. The door then slid close behind him.
         Satine all but collapsed onto the floor- Bo-Katan rushing forward was the only thing slowing her hard descent. The two girls curled into each other on the ground, and Obi-wan moved over, despotizing Grogu so the child could wiggle his way into their laps. Obi-wan comforted the girls as Din moved to the door to lock it. He did a security sweep of the office, closing the window blinds, the sobs tugging at his heart as he went. When he turned back to the pile on the floor, Bo-Katan had hidden her face in Satine’s neck, and Obi-wan was rubbing a hand down Satine’s back. Din, recognizing that his armor makes him not very cuddly, crouched down across from them.
         “I’m sorry I wasn’t here,” Satine muttered, words muffled because her face was mushed on Bo-katan’s head. “I’m so sorry, Bo.”
         Din couldn’t make out Bo-katan’s reply, but Satine pulled her sister closer. Grogu, still squished between the sister, squeaked. The girls laughed at the noise, the sounds wet. But Grogu, from what Din could see of him, looked proud of himself. Satine lifted her head to smile at Grogu before looking at Din. And, without speaking a word, freed one hand and held it out to Din. Din shuffled closer and held her hand. Satine yanked, and Din followed and sat down closer to their pile. Bo-Katan, apparently communicating silently with her sister, grabbed Din’s arm near her and wrapped it around her. Din moved, so he could hold Satine and Bo-Katan (it was a little awkward, but the girls seemed content).
         No one spoke, the girls periodically crying before quieting. At one point, Bo-Katan muttered, “Nu kyr’adyc.”
         Satine sniffed but quietly finished, “Shi taab’echaaj’la.”
         “Ni su’cuyi, gar kyr’adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum,” Din said. “Vir and Lida Djarin.”
         Bo-Katan and Satine repeated the face, adding their father’s name. When nudged by Satine, Obi-wan stumbled through the words and added, “Cerasi.”
         Grogu babbled something, and Din felt he was adding his own names. They were silent again, occasional sniffs and solitary sobs emerging. Din didn’t move, shifting slightly to get more comfortable. Eventually, Satine pulled back, so Din let go. Bo-Katan stayed glued to Satine’s side. Grogu got up on his toes, precariously balancing on Satine’s lap, and patted Satine and Bo-katan’s cheeks.
         “Vor’e,” Satine said, holding Grogu’s hand. The kid graced her with a wide smile. Satine looked to Din again. “And thank you for getting them out of here. And without shooting them.”
         “I can still do it,” Din said, half joking.
         “Can I?” Bo-Katan asked eagerly. Satine rolled her eyes and playfully flicked her. Satine yawned, setting off a domino effect- Bo-Katan, Grogu, and Obi-wan yawned too.
         Din chuckled. “Nap time?”
         Satine sighed and shook her head, opening her mouth to give an excuse, but Obi-wan cut her off, “I think it would be nice to rest some before dealing with anything else today.”
         Bo-Katan nodded. “Do you think we could, maybe, go to your room Satie? Your bed is bigger.”
         Satine smiled at her sister. “Of course. I assume you will be joining us?”
         She looked at Obi-wan and Din (where Grogu had crawled back to). Din didn’t let Obi-wan try to think up an argument before agreeing. It would be much easier to watch over them all if they were together. Nightmares were a possibility, and Din wouldn’t let his guard down, even if there were guards around. What good were guards that only used stun blasts?
         “But I really should-“
         “Sleep,” Din interrupted Obi-wan standing up and hoisting the boy up with him. Din dropped Grogu into Obi-wan’s arms. Grogu yawned and snuggled into his arms, innocently blinking up at the teen. Obi-wan sighed and accepted his fate. Satine and Bo-Katan stood up. The girls lead their group out into the hallway, Din walking in step with them. Satine did roll her eyes when Din casually rested a hand on his blaster. Maybe it was overkill, but it worked. Not one person who thought to approach them as they passed didn’t rethink it. They passed one of the advisors that Din had threatened. Din didn’t recognize them, but the way they flinched back from him gave it away. Din wasn’t a fan of intentionally scaring someone- but this felt like a situation that warranted it.
         “I’m going to have to start paying you as a bodyguard, aren’t I?” Satine mused as they made it to the hall where people lived. Din shrugged- his credits wouldn’t work here, and he wasn’t going to stop watching over Satine.
         Obi-wan peeled off to change out of his clothes, keeping Grogu with him because the kid refused to leave his arms. Satine told Din to drop his stuff off in his room, so Din followed after Bo-Katan swore to slap Satine’s comm out of her hand if she tried to work.
         The room was the biggest one Din had ever stayed in; it could probably fit the entirety of Din’s clan. He set Grogu down on the ground to check the room, which consisted of a sleeping area, sitting area, refresher, and closet. The room was well-lit and clean, and there were various pieces of artwork and plants. Din set his bag down on the trunk at the bottom of the bed. Grogu was attempting to climb onto the couch; face scrunched up in concentration. Grogu abandoned his attempt when Din walked over, demanding to be held. Din picked his son up but hesitated When Grogu patted his helmet, cooing as he tried to push it up. Din looked around the room and moved, so he wasn’t visible from the windows. Din lifted his helmet, a smile coming to his face when his son cheered. Grogu patted his face, and Din allowed himself to lay a kiss on Grogu’s forehead. Grogu, satisfied, closed his eyes and laid his head on Din's chest.
         “Yeah, ok,” Din whispered, setting his helmet back down. “Let’s go get everyone to bed.”

10 books to know me 📚
 Thanks @otrtbs for the tag !
Ten books to know me or know what I like to read about, Nat did quotes with hers so I’m going to do quotes as well!
Atonement by Ian McEwan - I still remember the way I flung this book across my room when I got to that part, if you’ve read it you know, still not over it and I get emotional every time I think about Robbie :(
“As the distance opened up between them, they understood how far they had run ahead of themselves in their letters. This moment had been imagined and desired for too long, and could not measure up. He had been out of the world, and lacked the confidence to step back and reach for the larger thought. I love you, and you saved my life.”
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen - The blueprint, will never not be in this list. I was raised on this stuff.
“Your defect is a propensity to hate everybody.” “And yours,” he replied with a smile, “is wilfully to misunderstand them.”
The Magic Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton - I am aware this is a children’s book but it’s the one my mum read to me every night before bed and the copy currently sitting on my shelf is the one she had when she was a child as well so it’s the most precious thing I own and they are still some of my favourite stories :)
“The faraway tree is always there. We never, never know what land is going to be at the top.”
The Fault in our Stars by John Green - I don’t want any slander okay, I don’t care to hear it ok in this house we respect our roots, this book made me cry and a part of my horrendous pre teen years was scrolling through tumblr and seeing all of those god awful picsart posts of the quotes and I loved every minute of it, it was a right of passage
“What a slut time is. She screws everybody.”
The Etymologicon by Mark Forsyth - I bought this book because it’s opening passage actually had me giggling out loud like a loser in a bookstore and the origins of random words will never not be cool, the opening passage is just so long I cant put it all in here but I highly recommend it to everyone.
“Occasionally people make the mistake of asking me where a word comes from. They never make this mistake twice. I am naturally a stern and silent fellow; even forbidding. But there's something about etymology and where words come from that overcomes my inbuilt taciturnity.”
The Fallen Star series by Jessica Sorensen - I bullied my high school librarian to buy these for the school library because I couldn’t afford them at 14 and after 2 months of badgering he caved and got them and I immediately took them and read them all in the span of two days. It’s about a girl whose mum got hit by a falling star when she was pregnant with her and it ended up giving her purple eyes and magic powers? I don’t care how silly it is at 21 I still love it.
“Of course, my nightmares were just the tip of the iceberg in the madness that had overtaken my life. When I was awake, I had much bigger problems to deal with than monsters attacking me. Real problems. Ones I couldn’t blink away.”
Little Women by Louisa May Alcott - Raise your hand if you’re surprised to see this. Anyone? Anyone at all? Yeah me neither.
“Just because my dreams are different to yours does not mean that they’re unimportant.”
Divergent by Veronica Roth - I know it’s goofy but I really don’t care, this was my life! I was so convinced I was a dauntless girl lmao I have enough self awareness to know now I am either a Candor or Abnegation girl.
“Becoming fearless isn’t the point. That’s impossible. It’s learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.”
Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson - Was it the insightful examination of the constant battle of good and evil that inherently exists with all humans and the struggle we face daily on deciding which to act upon that drew me into this book or was the idea that I could blame all my bad decisions on ‘night time me’? We’ll never know.
“If I am the chief of sinners, I am the chief of sufferers”
The Devil Tree by Jerzy Kosiński - I’m currently reading this and so far its very rich boy problems and existential crisis but it’s beautifully written so I both am apathetic towards the man I’m reading through but also desperate to know each of his thoughts. Weird.
“My past is the only firmament worth knowing, and I am it’s sole star. It is as haunting and mysterious as the sky overhead, and as impossible to discard.”
No pressure tagging - @waririses @signofthereads @im-still-tryin-to-find-it @euphorial-docx @siriuslyfuxkoff @condoneii and anyone else who wants to do it! xxx

Ok but I’m trying to figure out how this works from Belos’ perspective. Imagine:
You’ve been pulled into a demon realm that kinda suspiciously resembles hell, and is full of witches, during peak witch hunter era. After a few decades there leaning the local lore and magic (being both the only human and the only person to use glyphs), you meet a teen girl (presumably a witch) and her aunt.
She knows who you are when most people don’t, and holds you in some esteem when most people don’t. She spins you some obviously fake story about being a “crab maiden”, offers to help you find the figure out of some mysterious obscure cult that most other people haven’t heard of and likely wouldn’t approved of if they did, despite the fact that you’ve made no mention of this character or your search for them. She is not only the only other person you’ve ever met who uses glyphs like you, but she teaches you a new one.
Still, you need a sacrifice and these two seem ripe for it. Except they survive, and the aunt punches you in the face and leaves a small wound on your nose.
Roughly 300 years go by. You’ve resorted to dark magic to stay alive. Everyone else you knew from that time died long ago. You haven’t seen or heard from either of these two figures since that day. The weird magic you’re dealing with turned that small wound into a massive disfigurement across your whole face.
At what point did he start to notice Lilith? This devoted and talented follower, climbing your organisation’s ranks, starting to look familiar as she gets older. Or would you recognize her at all, after all that time.
When his scouts brought word of another human in The Boiling Isles, how long did it take him to make that connection? Did he see pictures of her face before that meeting? Did he make the connection of “she’s living with Lilith’s sister, hence ‘aunt’?”
What does Belos know of time travel? It’s kinda mythical even in The Boiling Isles, but I guess he’s lived there long enough to know of it. Would he immediately go “oh, she must have traveled through time”, or would he assume at first that something else was going on? At what point did he think “ok, she hasn’t met me yet”, or “ok, now she has met past-me”?
Judging by how completely not confused he is about all this, I feel like either he has spies/scrying just watching them all the time, or he is seriously into time magic. I can’t take credit for the “is Belos building a time machine?” theory, but it’s kinda looking more likely.

Igniting Writing ‘Return’ Contest 2022, Submission by Annabel
Photographic Memory "We take photos as a return ticket to moments otherwise gone." Katie Thurmes I traced the letters of my grandmother's neat, cursive handwriting on the back of the camera box. "She wanted me to have this?" I asked, putting the old camera back inside carefully.
"Yes, she specified the camera was for you and now you're old enough to have it," my mother smiled. "I can show you the previous films from the camera if you want?"
I nodded, eager to learn more about my grandmother. My mother fetched another box. I undid the ribbon and opened the box, unfolding the letter inside.
'To Sierra, if you're reading this; happy 16th birthday! Hopefully, I'm there with you today, celebrating all day. Love Grandma.'
I smiled. I couldn't remember what my grandmother was like - she had dementia since I was young - but this letter provided me with some comfort that she knew me once, even if not now.
"I'll go and make some lunch and leave you to look through the photos."
There were lots of smaller boxes inside the large box, each dated with the ages Grandma was when the photos were taken. I started with the earliest: ages 16-20. The first photo was of my grandmother and her friends enjoying their ice creams at a parlour. I squinted to get a better look - suddenly the scene came to life in front of my very eyes.
"Betty, what flavour did you want?" one of the girls asked my grandmother, twiddling her pigtails.
"Aww, come on Peggy, you know she wants cherry and I'll have pineapple; it's the same as always," another girl shouted, rolling her eyes.
Peggy returned with the ice creams. "Here you go, cherry for Betty, pineapple for Linda and vanilla for me!"
They began to eat their ice creams, my grandmother licking hers daintily. The others finished way before her and kept trying to hurry her up, laughing while they began to discuss boys they liked.
"We know Peggy likes John and I like Peter, but who do you like, Betty?" Linda teased. My grandmother shook her head.
"Come on, Betty, you know who we like." Peggy poked her jokingly.
"Ok, ok, I like Joe," Grandma giggled, blushing. Joe was my grandfather's name, but I never knew they had met in their teens. I never liked to ask my mother about them in case I upset her.
The image stopped moving. Watching my grandmother and her friends when they were my age was truly amazing; I felt closer to her than ever before, she was just like how I imagined her. Cherry ice cream was my favourite too - perhaps we were more similar than I thought.
So much of my grandmother's life was documented on these films, all her special moments in early adulthood. Her wedding was beautiful; gentle piano music accompanied my grandparents' first dance under a canopy of white roses. My grandmother wore a flowing white dress with poofy sleeves. It seemed like the perfect day for her and my grandfather, even though they were so young. I wished I could ask her whether it was everything she imagined it to be, as to me it seemed magical.
Even though the photos were in black and white, each moment appeared in vivid colour. I decided to open the next box, ages 21-27. This box was filled with photos of my mother's older sisters, Tiffany and Melissa, in their infancies. I could see the adoring look in my grandmother's eyes as she cared for them, fussing over every small detail.
28-37 contained my mother and her twin brother Christopher's early childhood and Tiffany and Melissa's first days of secondary school. It was fascinating to watch my mother and her siblings grow up, learning more about their personalities as children. My favourite was them all at the beach.
"Who's coming in the sea, then?"
Melissa jumped to her feet. "Me!" She was always the sporty one; now she runs marathons in her spare time.
"I'm reading," Tiffany moaned; no surprises there, her entire house is like a library.
My mother and Christopher were building a sandcastle together in their matching stripey swimsuits, but they stopped and ran down to the sea together, soaking my grandmother and Melissa from head to toe with their vigorous splashing. They all looked so happy playing in the water.
It had been a long time since they were all together; Melissa hadn't visited since Grandma's memory started to decline rapidly. She claimed she didn't want her memories of Grandma tarnished by her fading memory.
The 38-50 box had all four of the children's 16th and 18th birthday parties. They all had personalised cakes with their name and age in their favourite colours. Birthdays were the most special event of the year to my grandma, so the parties were very extravagant. It wasn't the same anymore; Grandma couldn't even remember my name, let alone my birthday.
The final box was labelled 51-. She never finished it before she started to decline. There were several photos of my cousins as babies in my grandmother's arms. The rest of the photos were of me as a baby with Grandma. They showed us until my third birthday party then abruptly stopped.
The final photo was of the letter on the front of the box, a farewell to the collection of photos as she slowly lost her memories of all these events. I smiled sadly; knowing of the wonderful times she had experienced made it sadder that she couldn't remember those happy moments.
My mother returned to the room. "Sierra, ham or cheese sandwich?"
"Mum, can we take the photos to Grandma and see if it helps her remember them?"
She sighed. "Sierra, we can go after lunch and you can try, but I don't think it'll help. She calls you Kelly because she can't remember who you are - she thinks you're me. But we can try, sweetheart."
It wasn't long before we were knocking on the door to Grandma's room at her home.
"Hey Grandma, I’ve got something to show you," I smiled, sitting down next to her on the bed. My mum stood in the doorway, watching fondly as I opened the first box. "Look Grandma, this is you, Peggy and Linda eating ice cream; you had cherry as it's your favourite."
My mum came and sat down next to me. "And this is you and Dad getting married and here's us all at the beach - you and your four children," she explained calmly. "These are of our birthday parties at 16 and 18."
I squeezed her hand and continued. "This is you with me as a baby, Grandma. Remember? I’m your granddaughter."
Grandma smiled as we showed her the photos. "Sierra, Kelly," she murmured, gesturing to the old camera in my pocket.
Although that was the last time my grandmother truly returned to us before she died, she gave me and my mother a special moment to return to whenever we miss her, forever concealed in a photo.

its 4am so i need to log OFF and go to BED but my mind is spinning with dishonored dishonored dishonored. this game really meant the world to me when i was... fucking... 18 years old lmao wow. i'm really not very far at all, i have just made my way to Claring Blvd, but some thoughts, i guess:
for a game that came out on consoles in 2012, it looks amazing. the stylization aged very VERY well even if some gameplay elements didn't. (and to be honest, the gameplay isn't as clunky as i was worrying it'd be.) (i do think there must have been a better, less confusing button mapping option for sneak-stabbing vs sneak-choking.)
i still love how beat up everyone's faces look in this. though, the women could stand to be more beat up and have more varied face shapes. also the NOSES
forgot that literally everyone wears pants because apparently skirts and dresses don't exist in the dishonoredverse? at least not in dunwall. which seems very fitting tbf.
the amount of thought and depth poured into the lore of the world dishonored takes place in, the amount of WORLDBUILDING, when you never even leave the walls of dunwall, is still one of my favorite things about it. i think the writers in charge of the flavor text strewn about as notes and books did a good job giving all of these details that flesh the setting out but still leave so much mystery that could be expanded on.
i love the atmosphere obviously but i love the just, entire atmosphere around the whales in this universe, their place in the world and its foundational myths and religions and the economic exploitation, everything it symbolizes for THESE ancient, magical leviathans to be brutally killed en masse to be rendered down to oil and heretical charms. and it reminds me yet again, of the common fanon of pre-DH2 fandom, where the outsider was a whale, or something older than the whales who brought them forth into the world or merely has a particular fondness and affinity for them, and he was never a human in anything but false flesh, only worn to put the mortals who reach out to him at something like ease, or just acknowledge the limitations of these beings who can't fathom whale song. what i'm saying is, i'm really still annoyed they canonized the whole "teenaged sacrifice victim" origin for him instead of having more fun with the magical ancient whales stuff u_u
something i hadn't noticed until this replay is the voice acting is very flat? i think it's easy to tell it's a voice direction thing. like, wow, so many charactes just speak Very Flat, almost monotone at times. it does take me out of the dialogue, ngl. i think as a 17/18 year old i wasn't paying nearly as much attention to like, writing and acting as i do now, so its sticking out. havelock especially sticks out. also funny to realize just how many background NPCs are voiced by the same three or four VAs...
the heart mechanic is still one of the most fun and enjoyable game mechanic gimmicks that ties in SO perfectly with the narrative itself. it's also just so funny to imagine corvo following people around the hound's pit, like barely a foot away from their back, holding a freshly-beating heart in his hand and burning a hole into the other person's head with such an INTENSITY trying to wring every little observation out of the lump of metal-choked flesh he holds (while the heart tells him how god dang suicidal they are. oh lydia and cecelia)
i'm thinking of all the woobie corvo angst fics i ever read where the heart is basically an emotional support haunted organ and going wuwuwuwu while i replay
i think now, as a 30 year old gay man instead of a teen girl, i desire samuel carnally (more specifically desire to see him and corvo fuck each other senseless) even MORE STRONGLY
ok i gotta do homework today good night

Have a short little Amphibia writing
I watched episode one of season 3 today and I absolutely can't wait for the next episode!!
Anyway to help me cope I decided to write some Fluff/ Angst but mostly fluff Of Marcyyyyy
enjoy
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Marcy!
Marcy! it's time to wake up, we're going to be late for class!
    Marcy rolled over onto her side and groaned trying to bury herself deeper into the pillow, she could feel something pressed up against her side, which judging by the warmth and the way the contact made Marcys head feel like static she knew it was Anne.
    A gentle finger prodded the girl until she huffed and sat up, hugging a pillow tightly in her arms as her tired scrunched up eyes glared at Anne for waking her from her peaceful slumber. "Oh come on Mar Mar, I wanna sleep too but we cant be late." Anne said, smiling at Marcy before jumping out of bed. Marcy yawned and nodded, she unwrapped herself from the soft blanket and felt the icy chill of the morning air against her sleep warmed skin. She shivered and climbed out of bed, walking past Anne as she slid on her favorite hoodie.
    "Why did we even have a sleepover on a weekday? I'm always more tired when you stay over." Marcy grumbled, but she knew she was only tired because no matter how early the two laid down in bed they would be kept awake chatting for hours before either fell asleep. And of course there was the fact that when Anne was there Marcy would stay awake as long as she could to relish the warmth of her friend beside her as much as possible. Marcys parents never let her have sleepovers on weekdays, luckily her parents were not in town at the moment so they had no say in the matter.
Marcy looked up at Anne who met her eyes and gave her a cute smile and giggled as she slid her hands down Marcy's hair "You have quite the bed head." Anne said stifling back laughter at the beautiful black hair that was sticking straight up as if on the head of an electrocuted cartoon character. Marcy grumbled and tried to flatten out her own hair, her hand brushing Annes in the process which sent a warm wave over her body.
Marcy stretched her arms above her head and closed her eyes in a deep yawn but as she did a staticy sound filled her ears. She suddenly felt the hard ground disappear from under her feet, she felt like she was floating in liquid. Confusion clouded her brain and she panicked as she realized her inability to move her arms or legs. She tried to open her eyes but was interrupted by a voice.
"Marcy please!"
"Marcy please! You gotta come with us to the concert tonight, it's gonna be the best night of our lives!" Sasha pleaded as Marcy opened her eyes, standing in the hallway of school beside her own locker which was open and overflowing with various papers and books.
"I already told you Sash, I'd love to, but my parents would never allow it!" Marcy responded as her memories started to fill in like a crashing wave filling in the cracks between rocks on a beach. Sasha leaned against the locker and moved her hand forward and down, doing a motion Marcy liked to call "the gay hand". Marcy snickered quietly to herself at the thought.
"Come on Marc it'll be fineeee, we can just…. go without asking your parents." Sasha said, now moving her hand in a circular motion. Marcy rubbed the back of her neck nervously, I mean what they didn't know wouldn't hurt them, and besides taking a night off to have fun with friends would reduce Marcys stress level and likely improve her performance on her academics, which wasss what her parents wanted sooo. Marcy let out a sigh and pushed her locker shut, slightly struggling as the books and papers kept the door from closing but she eventually got it, though it wasn't as smooth of a motion as she had hoped. "Fine, we just can't get caught, ok?" She said looking up at Sasha's beautiful face with a smile. Sashas face lit up and she nodded "Of course Marshmallow! they'll never know you were gone."
Marcy doesn't know how her eyes end up closed this time but she is shoved back into the darkness, the liquid. She is filled with a sudden rush of memories of her first vision, what the hell was happening?
"Please Marcy, wake up!"
Marcys body suddenly regained feeling as all her just regained memories were torn from her mind
    "Please Marcy wake up!" Marcy could hear Anne shout from above her. Marcy opened her eyes and squinted upwards at her two best friends staring at her in deep concern. Pain flashed across Marcy as an aching soreness covered her whole body. A wave of memories crashed over her once more. "Are you ok?!" Anne asked, she was very close to Marcy examining the girl who was laying in the bright green grass right below the large oak tree. Marcy sat up rubbing her head as she blinked a few times trying to clear the slight blur from her vision "Yeah i'm alright, but man that was a hard fall." Marcy said gazing up at the branch she had been sitting on happily only a few moments ago. Before the conversation between the three teen girls had changed to crushes and with one question Marcy had fallen backwards off the branch.
    Without another word Sasha started diggin through Annes backpack and pulled out a first aid kit box, except the white letters that said first aid kit had been written over with Marker and now read "Marcy protection box" Sasha clicked it open and pulled out a bandaid which had an assortment of wizards and magical beings on it. Sasha gently peeled the bandaid off  while Anne grabbed some hydrogen peroxide from the first aid kit and with a little cotton ball applied some to the scratch on Marcys knee, which Marcy hadn't even noticed. After Anne was finished Sasha gently laid the bandaid over the scratch and patted Marcy's knee gently "There you go Mar mar, good as new!" Anne said, giving her friend a sweet smile. The whole routine was a normal everyday thing for the trio and Anne and Sasha were basically pros at treating injuries by now.
    Anne reached over and pulled some twigs from marcy's hair as the three sat in the grass Anne and Sasha leaning against the tree trunk and Marcy layed down over Sashas legs with her head on Annes lap. Even after all the leaves and sticks were gone Anne took the opportunity to continue to play with Marcy's hair. Sashas eyes were closed as she enjoyed the moment with the warmth of her friends against her, filling her with a strange peace and safety she only ever felt around her two girls. Anne was also enjoying the relaxing moment as she lazily dug her fingers in Marcy's hair combing them through the soft strands gently.
    As for Marcy she didn't mind the free head massage one bit and soon her eyelids grew heavy, a sleepiness brought on by the overwhelming comfort her friends provided. Her eyes blinked closed for a second, then another, and eventually Marcy just couldn't hold them open anymore and let them fall  and as they closed she was torn away from the beautiful scene and her mind was filled with all her previous memories once more. This time Marcy was fully aware, she could feel the thick suffocating liquid that surrounded her, she still couldn't move, but she knew something was happening, she knew she was reliving her past memories. But why? How did she get here? Marcy fought against a fog in her mind, trying to find whatever memory she was missing.
"Marcy please, wake up, please,  I love you."
With another clear voice through the darkness Marcy expected to get thrown into another memory. But instead she felt all her memories flash one by one through her head as it searched for one that matched the words, nothing.
No one had ever said those last three words to Marcy before.
Marcy remembered everything
and despite being almost numb in the cold darkness
she could still feel the warm tears drip down her face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not even her parents have said those words to Marcy ;-;
can you imagine how depressing that would be
If Marcy had never even heard those words before
Alright well ima go cry for a few hours bye bye

ok, this one is kind of a hard topic, and i appologize in advance for any mistakes i make or not being articulate enough
all the concearns over ppl in fandom hyping the only prominent white character, christina, in lovecraft country instead of the black characters are valid and the critique is definitely important, once it's common for ppl in fandom to either erase the half of a couple that is a BIPOC or to deny a canon cis het biracial ship to hype up a fanon white wlw ship and other problematic stuff plenty of times in LGBTQ+ fandom spaces.
but i also think we can't dismiss the entirety of the ship only bc the same LGBTQ+ fans are back at it again with their problematic behaviour, especially bc of its significance for black women and feminine-aligned nb folks who feel attraction to woman/feminine-aligned nbs -- lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, biromantic, panromantic etc.
for what i've seen so far, this ship is very important for black women and female-aligned nbs bc finally we have a dark-skinned black woman, who is also fat, to be treated with absolute respect and consideration and be passionately desired in a way that is not some kind of secret fetish or played for laughs, treated as being as worthy of being courted and romanced as her light-skinned and skinny half-sister.
christina respects ruby's choice and agency for most of the time -- i think the exception may be that first time ruby transformed into hillary;
she immediately explains to ruby her plans and intentions whenever ruby questions her behaviour and demands answers, including ruby in her plans when even ruby's loved ones keep secrets from her; she gives her all these baths and caresses her so softly, literally bathing her with affection and desire; she woos her with vows of devotion; and even tried to understand what ruby said when she asked her to try to understand her pain -- albeit in a fucked up way that only a privileged and sheltered girl raised in an enviroment in which magic is real and present in ppl's daily lives possibly could.
christina overall acknowledges that ruby is a woman with her own emotions, motivations, hopes, dreams, wants, needs and desires, and that's something y'all should keep in mind because i'll return to that later.
overall, these things i described are actually the basic that a person should do for the one they call their lover, and in no way erase the fact that christina is willing to kill innocent ppl to accomplish her goals of self-protection, nor turn these things acceptable from a moral standpoint.
but it's not the kind of treatment black women and feminine-aligned nbs receive, neither in fiction or in real life, by the way.
there are specific forms of misogyny that black women and female-aligned nbs face in which we are read as aggressive or animalistic, oversezualized or stripped from our sexuality and have our femininity denied if we don't check the boxes of what society deems acceptable.
there's this interview wumni mosaku gave for elle magazine U.S. in which she discusses her personal experiences with this problem, and how these eurocentric standards of femininity forced her to act in an overtly nice manner as a way to make sure ppl will treat her kindly instead of with suspicion and assuming she is aggressive.
that is because of the ways race and gender intersect creating a very complex scenario when it comes to definitions, experiences and stereotypes of femininity.
white women are overall treated with an authomatic presumption of innocence, as delicate and frail flowers who must be protected at all costs, especially if they are from upper classes -- that is something that is actually held against low-income white women, who are expected to adhere to certain standards to have their femininity acknowledged.
but, as we can see by that moment in episode 1x05, "strange case", when ruby as hillary is escorted by the policemen to her supposed husband who is actually christina shapeshifted , and, actually, by christina's entire motivations and characterization, that very same presumption of innocence is one of the sources of their oppression, because they are infantilized and stripped of their agency in favor of the men in their lives -- husbands, brothers, fathers etc --, being stopped and/or forbidden to do things cis het men usually get to and are expected to do.
in spite of this paradox, white women still have a privilege when compared to black women, because they're are still seen as ppl that belong to the world of affections and are worthy of receiving love, care and concearn for their wellbeing.
but that is not the case with black women.
usually, we are reserved two roles: one that revolves around being hypersexualized for men's consumption, both white and black alike; and the other, in which we are seen as "beasts of burden", carrying the weight in terms of work, emotions and so on, being expected to be desensitized to experiences and problems that no human would be expected to. sometimes, these two roles actually cross paths.
here in brazil, black activism and academics have been calling it "solidão da mulher negra", "the loneliness of black woman", and i think it's a very pertinent and powerful way to describe it.
and, that is the thing, when you're a black woman or feminine-aligned nb that doesn't fit into this role of being sexualized, you can feel this loneliness go a step further, because all that is left for you is that beast of burden part.
you end up not only being cast aside and abandoned by cis het white men and black men alike if you're attracted to men, but, overall, everyone in your social circle, including family, relatives and friends, expect you to be this source of strength and carry weights and resist to things ALL. THE. TIME.
and, guess what type of women and feminine-aligned nbs usually don't fit into this role of being sexualized????
the ones that are dark-skinned, fat, bulky, or any combination of these.
it's a combination of colorism, fatphobia, misogynoir and other factors that come to play, really.
one can check a few boxes, or check them all.
i myself don't check the "dark-skinned" box because, as a biracial women, i have light-skin privilege -- even though my skin is not as light as jurnee smollett's, who plays ruby's half-sister letitia "leti" lewis. but i sure have dealt with the consequences of not having the right body type for my whole life. i've been one of the "fat kids" for all my teen years, and, even now that i lost weight because of health issues, i'm still bulky and with large shoulders, feet and hands bigger than what is expected for women, and for most of my life i've felt in a similar way than what wumni mosaku describes on that elle magazine interview i mentioned earlier.
now, ruby literally checks ALL. THE. FUCKING. BOXES.
while we haven't seen much of her past, for the tidbits we got we can imagine that she had to be the responsible one in her family, being the older child, and basically raise her two siblings while their mom neglected them.
and we can see that, while the producers and writers changed a lot of her characterization from the source material -- in the part of the book i am right now, she has yet to show up, but the way she's described she seems more domestic and the shrinking violet type like show!hippolyta at the begining -- she is still seen as someone respected in her community and a source of strength -- e.g. being trusted to take care of dee.
and that clearly takes a toll on her, because everyone in-universe seems to expect her to be this mammy type or a role model, "a credit to the race" -- which is kind of ironic, given that it seems the audience seem to expect this of her as well.
and she puts all this pressure on herself because of it, and, while she is a woman with a very active sexual life, she seems overall very unsatisfied and repressed.
interrupted, as ruby herself perfectly put.
everyone seems to expect something of her at home, and not only all of her goals in the professional realm seem to be frustrated by social structures of oppression, but even her relationship goals as well, given that most of the men that she gets involved with, whether they are black or white, seem to believe they have the right to abandon her and treat her like trash because she doesn't feel a thing and is "strong" enough.
and that is where christina comes in.
now, it's true that the character that's pointed by many as a representation of white feminism surely is problematic in many ways, including her "colorblind" approach to racial issues, which is a particular form of racism that comes from an indifference towards social issues that steem from the privilege of not having to worry about said racial issues because one's not affected by them.
but, inspite of this colorblindness, or precisely because of it, christina sees ruby not for the roles she plays in other ppl's lives, but as the woman with her own emotions, motivations, hopes, dreams, wants, needs and desires that she is (see??? i told y'all to keep that in mind because it would be useful later).
some of these things might not be politically correct, like wondering what would it be like to be white and not have to deal with all the bullshit she has to.
some of these things might be dowright immoral and unethical, like the revenge fantasy she made come true against that abusive, sexual harasser and possibily rapist that was the guy from the department store that appeared in episode 1x05.
but, they are what makes ruby, well, ruby.
they are what makes her human, what humanizes her.
and christina accepts all of it, all that makes ruby who she is.
like the av club review for episode 9 pointed out, the two women are actually not that different when it comes to motivations: the stakes might be different for them because christina is protected by her whiteness and wealth, but both of them want the same thing in the end -- to not feel interrupted by the social restraints that bind them.
and that is what draws them to each other and feel attracted to each other, even though they might not understand quite well what to be queer means to them, or even avoided/repressed the question altogether as they grew up.
they are two points that seem opposite, and might as well be in some ways, but belong to the same axis that is gender and sexuality.
their relationship is incredibly complex and layered because of all these intersecctions.
ruby and christina's relationship is all about revealing different parts of yourself to the other and peeling each other's layers (sorry for the pun, but, it was just there lol), and, because of this, it's no wonder that it's seen as more romantic than, say, tic and leti's relationship, that seems to be playing out like plenty of cis heterosexual relationships, moving too fast because of the passion involved and what society expects, without the two of them being able to truly proccess and decide what they want, something that will defintely get more complicated now there's a baby on the way.
everything is so raw between ruby and christina, quite literally (it's one ot the things i love the most about all the gory scenes between them, it's a very clever way of using a fantastical setting to highlight these metaphors and symbolism).
with all of this, it shouldn't be a surprise that many sapphic black women and feminine-aligned nbs relate so much to ruby and got so attached to this relationship.
it's not because they endorse the problematic stuff christina or ruby have done -- although, well, to be fair, in a show that draws inspiration from pulp fiction magazines, particularly horror and detective/mystery stories, all characters are expected to be problematic and do fucked up things.
it's because queer black women and feminine-aligned nbs, regardless of whether they check only a few of the boxes i mentioned before or check all of them, can relate to this feeling of loneliness that the producers and writers portrayed so well with ruby -- but also with hippolyta, and dee too.
and for relating to these feelings, they relate to this relationship between ruby and christina.
and it's kind of hard to know what's gonna happen next in the show and the future of this ship
hell, even know whether the show is gonna be renewed or not.
but this should be a lesson for the future, on this fandom and others, to try and consider the perspectives of LGBTQ+ black ppl in these spaces, because, when you don't do that, you're basically reproducing, in a space we should be safe to have fun, the same oppression and silencing we deal on a daily basis

The Report Card – Fantasy High: The Seven Ep 6
Bitches Be Shopping
What is up y’all. A little late but let’s jump in with episode six of The Seven where our girls have just received a LOT of information, Sam most of all who got put into a little vision coma that she’s just now waking up from.
She explains the vision to her friends (as she interprets it, the other Eidolons didn’t die, just became part of the natural forces of the world) and then the bear that Penny made on a whim last episode (who is Russian, named Koda, and somehow a trained circus bear) gets into a fight with Katja with their friends buffing the two to make things more interesting because these are still idiot teens, life or death situation or no. Yelle decides to be the adult and tells them to knock it off and get back on mission.
That means Katja needs to call her dad since he’s knows the guy who’s the best lead to getting to TK ( Talcidimir Tallbreeze who I’ll call Tal). She actually manages to get her dad this time who is inside a giant snake on his hell mission. Katja asks what he knows about TK and he says she’s a sorcerer but also has a spell book so maybe she’s multiclassed. Sam and Ant desperately want to know if they boned and Katja absolutely is not interested in that knowledge. Yelle decides to just ask which makes her dad a little annoyed since he’s kind of in the middle of something (literally) and that annoys Ant, Ost, and Sam who--respectively, accuse him of gaslighting Kat, cast Command on him, and cast Bane on him to aid the Command spell.
Mr. Cleaver fails the save and Ost commands him to tell Katja the truth. He admits that he did hook up with TK and he regrets it (note: it wasn’t like he cheated. It was just a casual hookup that wasn’t fulfilling it seems). Ost demands he apologize for not being there for Kat and Sam berates him for being at the top of the world and not lifting up his daughter too. For his part, Kat’s dad seems genuinely apologetic and promises to do better.
“You don’t need to be the best father, you just need to be there,” Katja says, making her dad break down crying.
Yelle, who has no daddy issues, is a bit less aggro and says that everyone makes mistakes and he can start making it up right now by helping with the Tal situation. She also gives them the tip that a cold spell will probably get them out of the snake lickety split.  She is on the money with the snake tip and Mr. Cleaver gets them all invites to a masquerade ball Tal is hosting. It’s being held on the Rumbosa which is this city-sized leisure ship. Mr. Cleaver says he’ll be back as soon as he can and, in the meantime, she should take care of her friends, “even the first 2 that were terrifying to me.”
The girls give Katja the axe they took as a birthday present (it was apparently her birthday the day before which Rekha just decided and Ost/Izzy refuses to accept without a fight because she *knows* Kat’s bday) which is identified as the Axe of Sundering (it can shatter objects, people, and sometimes concepts like halving movement). The two unnamed potions Yelle found are also ID’d as a Potion of Fly and a Potion of Gaseous Form. She distributes the Heath Potions to people without heals. Ant’s new arrows bypass some resistances and let her treat whatever she hits with the first one like it’s her favored enemy.
According to their invites, the ship they need is docking in the city of Gravalvia soon (a very old city in the Baronies) so they need to figure out a plan. They have some downtime, during which:
Zelda tries to hype up the team.
Zelda tries to see if Ost is OK wrt dad stuff and Ost has a Full Breakdown after badly pretending she’s fine.
While Zelda, Ost, and Penny are being Emotional and Sam is trying to literally cool them down with her powers, Ant and Yelle keep watch and experience emotional stability as the Adults Of The Party
Anyway, after a night of rest, they head to the golden city of Gravalvia which is this very cool, very pretty city with mosaics and fountains and I assume columns. They get there and there’s a dramatic fight happening in the square which is halted when one of the fighters realizes that the country he’s fighting for doesn’t exist anymore. And now, it’s time for what we’ve all been waiting for. Shopping Montage! Let’s go girl by girl.
Katja and Ost
Kat asks for help from Ost with getting fancy for this gala since she’s never really done anything dressy before (and she had no mom to help--Kaaaat) and Ost is happy to oblige, dressing them both like “Jersey trash”. Kat, of course, still wears her Khakis underneath.
Antiope
Ant decides to get a vibe for what people here wear and picks something that will blend in but be forgettable so she can be stealthy. Classy blue dress and mask.
Penny
Penny...OK, I absolutely cannot describe what happens here in any way that will do justice to the scene. I am going to tell you what matters to the plot. You have to watch this yourself if you want to see the entire table have a collective breakdown.
While looking for a costume, Penny runs into a halfling who is a member of the Society of Shadows--Laertes. He wants to know why she hasn’t responded to their invitation yet. She says she’s really eager to join, she just wasn’t sure how to respond (and also, she’s kind of in the middle of something). He says she can join by just messaging back and then her loved ones just have to sign waivers to have their memories wiped of her and she’s good to go. Say what now? asks Penny. She didn’t realize this was like a full Men in Black situation.
He says it’s ultimately her decision and leaves.
Of course, I left out the parts where he ate a handful of Candy Heart’s remains, became violently ill, almost projectile vomited into Penny’s mouth, and she tried to kiss him despite him being a full adult. It’s A Lot, ok?
Also, we don’t find out until later but Penny picks a sexy duck costume for reasons that make more sense if you watch the scene but not *much* more sense. She also burns one of the healing potions on this dude as he is bar
Danielle
Danielle tries to get some info on the guests at the party and gets the names Lawrence LaDuc, Princess Autumn, and Duston who is the playboy cousin of Tal. She also hears some dude saying some colonize and plunder the earth BS and casts Heat Metal on him, fully mercing the dude. Ice cold.
She tries to play it off like it’s the Curse of the Forest and when that doesn’t work and people start coming for her, she wildshapes into a dragon wyrmling and starts roasting people, killing 1 and dropping 2 to zero.
Unfortunately, one of her party members is a known dragon hater and uses her new arrows to snipe her right out of the sky. Ant is horrified once she realizes what she’s done but Yelle says it’s all good. It’s NOT all good, says Ant, I STABBED YOU. You’re allowed to be mad! Yelle says she’s just really good at compartmentalizing but what Ant’s getting here is that Yelle doesn’t really believe that her feelings matter which echo the fears of her moms.
Sam
Sam uses a combination of Mantle of Inspiration, glamour magic, performance, and good old flirting to get herself some killer clothes and also start a spontaneous musical number Giselle style.
Brennan says she looks resplendent and, honestly, when does she not?
They reconvene, Zelda in a classic hoop skirt. Yelle realizes she never got a costume and just whips out a Met Gala level, autumn themed, Queen Mab-esque costume with Druidcraft which she could have done this whole time so I guess that’s why she was cool spending her shopping time getting gossip and playing Poison Ivy.
They get to the ship and the way this works, everyone has to make an entrance and the really rich people (including Tal) are on a dais up top watching everyone come in. They all have to give fake names for the night since it’s a masquerade and they have to do Performance or Persuasion checks to see how impressive they look going in.
Before they go in, they plan a little. Penny wants to look for TK. Sam wants to find Dunston. Ost wants to talk to the bouncers. Yelle wants to see if there are plants she can manipulate (there are btw) and for any exits.
A quick rundown of how these all go:
Katja aka Mere (which means both mom and horse): 16
Ant aka Midnight Huntress: 18
Penny aka Penny Duckstone: 13
Zelda aka Madame Goodparty: 2 (Poor Zelda)
Sam aka Songbird: 22 (but she takes a hit to entrance save Zelda from totally flaming out)
Ost aka Stanley Gucci: 13
And Danielle, who never hogs the spotlight and is embarrassed to admit that maybe she does want to be the center of attention for once in her life with a Natural 20, gets a 29, absolutely bringing down the house as Empress Anima. As she walks forward she feels a voice say to her, “You got this. I love the name. You wear it well.”
Tal seems very impressed by her and a lady in a rabbit mask (Coeliabranca who I’ll call Coel if she comes up more) comes down to bring her up to the top with the high rollers. As she leaves, Sam casts Fly on her, just in case and holds the Concentration.
Ost and Kat go talk to the bouncers and Kat decides to pretend to be her mom to get access to the area Yelle is. She rolls low and is told, “Hey, aren’t you already up there?” Kat is like, fuck and Ost saves her by using her charm earrings to get an entourage of guards who will let them through and do what she says. Once up there, Kat doesn’t see her mom which I can imagine she has mixed feelings about.
Sam finds Dunston who is talking about Fantasy Bitcoin and seems like a real “Step on me mommy” type you know? Like, I feel like he’s into findom. Anyway, Sam charms him and his hangers on and learns about a procedure called a Phlebectomy that involves something going into their nose and then they feel better. Sam is rightfully horrified because, as I said, she is Most Likely To Survive A Horror Movie and can sense BS when she sees is. It’s apparently all the rage with the rich people here which is, como de dice, concerning seeing as they’re surrounded by them but we’ll get to that. Sam takes advantage of Dunston’s proclivities and gets him alone, knocks him out, steals him clothes, and pretends to be him (a *very* good scene by Sephie).
Penny sees a gnome gnome boy (Lysander Higgins) shining shoes and finds out from him that there is a copper earth genasi woman here. In a very Cinderella move, she asks what shoes she was wearing. Then, she makes out with him which like, sure. At least it’s not a grown adult man this time. Before she gets her kisses in, she does tell the group what she learned.
Up with the rich people, Yelle is introduced to Tal’s friend who is into Eidolons because of the name she chose. Between the shoes and her knowledge, they confirm that it’s TK! Yelle asks what she knows about Eidolons and she says that 7 is a very powerful number.
We cut to Ant who is patrolling the room as the sun sets and she suddenly hears a little beeping. It’s coming from a small crystal that was in Preston’s shirt (which she still has on her because???). Guests start dripping goo from their noses and transforming into monsters. Ant realizes that some kind of spell is happening triggered by midnight and this beeping. Hope these costumes are battle ready cause it’s fight time baybee!
Superlatives
Danielle: Most Likely to Be on The News for Murdering Fantasy Jeff Bezos
I cannot imagine what was running through Yelle’s head when she decided that, having just rolled into a foreign country, her next move was to start using lethal force on anti-environmentalist colonizing capitalists. Like, she’s not *wrong* per se but she is wild--in all senses of the word.
Random Thoughts
Kat keeps saying yesterday was her birthday which Ost/Izzy (and the rest of the group to a less vocal degree) are simply not having because maybe her dad would forget her birthday but her girls absolutely would not.
“You’re great because you stayed,” is the other killshot Kat line to her dad.
At a certain point Sam says, “This is so unhealthy,” to I think Yelle and like, if SAM is telling you your coping mechanisms are unhealthy, get thee to therapy.
OK, so someone, presumably Anima’s spirit, talks to Yelle as she makes her grand entrance which seems like info they should get to Talura ASAP, right? Cause that’s evidence they’re not dead-dead, just changed in form. But also Anima, girl. Don’t talk to Yelle. Talk to your rampaging sister!
"That's my secret, I stay in initiative."
Just a process note, notes are taken for the next ep and I am working on getting that recap up ASAP. As a battle ep, it will be in the abbreviated style that I did for last battle ep.
In this episode, Penny rolls a Nat 1 (which she rerolls) and one of Brennan’s NPCs rolls a Nat 1. Ant rolls 2 Nat 20s, Yelle rolls 1, and Brennan says that one of his NPCs gets a 20 which sweeps him entirely into Sam’s dance number.

snake for a badger
masterlist requests are closed, but read this before you click away! message me/send an ask to be tagged :)
pairing: hufflepuff!reader x draco
request? nope this was something that i came up with myself but low key i had quite a few hufflepuff requests that i never attended to and i wanted to give the hufflepuffs some love (my longest fics have had either ravenclaw or gryffindor readers, so this is your moment y’all...if you’re a slytherin then i’ll have something coming up for you soon ;))
summary: 6th year hufflepuff y/n y/l/n doesn’t know if she be afraid of draco malfoy after her friends warn her about his potential status as a death eater...and the fact that he keeps showing up to save her isn’t helping. THIS IS A TEASER!!!! for a much longer oneshot that’s currently in progress!!
warnings: teen drinking, secondhand embarrassment, swearing
a/n: important note that THIS IS A TEASER. i honestly have no idea how the entire oneshot is going to look (even though i assume that this isn’t exactly a one shot if there’s this added onto it). i’m not even sure if this is going to be a scene--it’s just the very first thing i wrote for it, and i liked it. i feel like draco’s character in this is really tricky because i haven’t yet decided how “ooc” i want him to be. i just really liked this idea and i’ve always had the image of y/n saving draco in this particular movie scene. let me know your thoughts!
no music recs, this is just a teaser

Her shoes dug into the back of her heels as she tried to keep up with Ginny around the corner.
“I don’t understand why you insist on wearing those...torture devices,” the red-haired witch said without adjusting her stride in the slightest. Y/N was tempted to just rip them off then and there and attend Slughorn’s party barefoot and carefree, but she knew better. It was in her best interest to try and get on the good side of the professors. Even though she had no intention of holding an office in the Ministry or becoming an Auror, she still wanted a good scroll of recommendation from her Potions professor. Especially considering his connections.
“Why don’t you just spell the back of them soft?” asked Ginny. “That’s what Parvati does. At least, I think that’s what she does. I don’t know how else she’s able to wear them with her uniform every day.”
“She doesn’t know the first thing about shoes.” Y/N winced the tip of her heel wobbled for a moment in between the cobblestones. “Once you spell a shoe soft, they’re never the same again. They’re ruined. At least, that’s what my mother has always told me--she swears by that balm stuff I keep on my nightstand.”
“Ah, Mrs. Y/L/N. I’m glad she’s not here to see me. I think she would demand that I pay with my life for my outfit today.”
Y/N managed a smile. “Hey. You know she likes you. I think so, at least.”
They rounded the corner, and this time Ginny was kind enough to steady Y/N as they made their way up the final flight of stairs. “I don’t know how you’re going to make it through the whole night, Y/N. I bet you wish you’d taken up Nott’s offer to be your date this time, huh? Now that you don’t have anyone to lean on if your feet get too tired?”
“There’s something called taking my shoes off if they hurt too much,” she responded. “And I could never regret that--I know he only did it because his mother told him to. Something about a favor for my mother after we saved her at a gala, I’m sure.”
“Also the fact that Millie would crucify you if she saw you with him.”
Y/N laughed. “That too. Imagine being a Hufflepuff who accidentally put a target on her back…”
“You’d be dead.”
“But very, very stylish. And if I died, my feet wouldn’t hurt anymore.”
Ginny tutted at her. “So morbid.”
The staircase had finally turned to their stop, and before the two girls had a chance to get off, Y/N heard a voice call out for her companion.
“Ginny! Hey, Ginny!”
“Harry!”
She pulled Y/N up the last few steps and deposited her safely on the corridor platform before bounding off towards Harry and Luna at the opposite end of the hall. They must’ve come from a different direction. “I’ll catch up with you at the party, ok?”
Y/N just beamed at her friend as she closed the difference between her and Harry, pulling both him and Luna around the corner towards the music and sound of the party. If it was anyone else, she might’ve been offended, but she knew how much Harry meant to her. Even if Ginny didn’t know it yet. And Y/N would not, under any circumstance, slow her friend down because of her poor footwear choices.
She dusted her dress off before making her way further down the hall. It was slower going without the prospect of a steadying hand next to her, but it was getting easier. Maybe the balm she’d used on the leather really was softening with each step she took like it said on the box.
Before she lifted the curtain to walk into the jovial evening, a flash of blond hair caught her eye. Platinum blond hair--the type that only belonged to one person she knew.
“Malfoy?”
His head snapped up from its previous spot on his knees that were folded up on the floor. The Slytherin was obscured by the darkness and the dividing wall that had been erected in the corridor, but Y/N was completely sure of what she was seeing.
She crept closer, inwardly cringing at the sound her heels made as they clacked across the stones.
“Need anything, Y/L/N?” he drawled. Once she was close enough to see his face clearly, his expression made it clear that he was not in a good mood. Not like he ever was, though.
“Why are you...er...just sitting here?” Fuck. She sounded so ditzy.
“Enjoying my Friday night.”
“Oh...ok.” Y/N swallowed. “You were invited to Slughorn’s party?”
He shrugged.
Her mouth felt dry. Obviously, he hadn’t been invited. Slughorn was notorious for wanting to keep a squeaky clean image, and entertaining the idea of inviting a Death Eater’s son was...out of question. And he never tried in his class anymore.
She dared another look down at him and nearly squeaked when she saw him staring directly back at her. Under normal circumstances, she would’ve at least told him goodbye or goodnight, but her words completely failed her. Instead, she just stared back, completely frozen.
She couldn’t help it. Ever since last fall, she couldn’t act normal around him to save her life. Not after...that.
A cat meowed in the distance, breaking whatever was paralyzing her.
“I...I have to go. I think that’s Filch.”
He said nothing--just tilted his head and raised an eyebrow like he was expecting something from her. She spun and walked as quickly as she could manage without breaking an ankle.
“What took you so long, Y/N?” Ginny asked the moment the curtain fell behind her, closing her back into the party. The tent that was magically set up was much more spacious than she was expecting, and the lime and peach coloring was surprisingly bright and cheery.
“I...uh…”
Her explanation was cut short by the sound of the entrance curtain being shoved aside with so much force that the nearest tables shook, the fine china clattering.
Filch stood in front of them, holding a very peeved looking Draco Malfoy by the scruff of his neck. “Found this boy loitering around outside. I don’t imagine that he’s been invited to your party here.”
“I’ll take care of it.” Professor Snape appeared to her left, his robes billowing black behind him as he made his way towards the pair.
“Ok, ok, I admit it, I wasn’t--”
“Draco! Where have you been?”
The words were out of her mouth before she even had the chance to think of the heavy, heavy regret that weighed down at her the moment they were spoken--not to mention the foreign feeling of the name “Draco” instead of Malfoy on her tongue. The tension in the room was tangible as Y/N took a few tentative steps forward. Snape whipped around to glare at her with a look that contained so much venom that it nearly stunned her.
“Miss Y/L/N? What’s going on?” Her sweet Potions professor materialized behind her. Y/N felt a twinge in her gut at what she was about to say--if she followed through, he probably wouldn’t ever give her the scroll of recommendation she wanted. “Did you invite him?”
Oh well. Here goes.
She drew in a shaky breath. “Yes. He’s my...uh...date tonight.”
Ginny spun around and sent her a death glare that said oh you are so telling me about this right now.
Filch released his grip on Malfoy’s neck, shoving him forward into the crowd. Y/N met his eyes for a brief second, and the only emotion she could register was shock. And anger.
“Fine. Dumbledore will be hearing about this, though. And tell your date to stop breaking curfew in restricted areas.”
With that, the curtain fell back and Filch was gone, leaving Y/N in the throes of her own despair. Malfoy was just a few feet away from her now, standing in all his gloomy glory. And she’d just told everyone that he was her date.
The music started up again, the strings echoing around the still room. A few couples hesitantly started dancing again, and the roar of conversation slowly picked back up to where it left off. Y/N and Malfoy were the only ones not doing something...coupley.
“So,” said Malfoy. The sigh that followed was completely unreasonable. “I think you’re supposed to tell me to stop breaking curfew in restricted areas sometime soon.”
She gulped. “Yeah. That.”
He held out his hand, slow and gingerly like he was about to touch a hot stove. Y/N just gawked at it.
“We should probably dance. Or something. I don’t think you’re being a very believable date right now.”
Y/N grabbed his hand and let him pull her into the mess of couples. It felt like her mind had taken a complete vacation. What had happened? How had this night ended up this way? “I didn’t mean for this to happen,” she started.
“Yeah, well, me neither.” He was practiced and comfortable as he guided her through the steps of whatever waltz was playing. Y/N never paid much attention when she was young to the dance lessons that her parents painstakingly put her through--and it was clear from how much she needed to depend on him. Her shoes didn’t help,
“Ginny is going to fucking kill me,” she said suddenly.
“You think?” he said, his tone flat. “Why’d you say I was your date? Were you that desperate for someone?”
“I…” The words died on her tongue as she tried to get them out. Malfoy spun her as she clung to the silk lapel of his suit, hanging on for dear life as her heels teetered. “You know why.”
If he had any strong thoughts on the matter, he didn’t let it show on his face. He simply let his gaze flicker down at her for a second before he dipped her. “You know, in my world we don’t really return favors. If I were you, I would stop trying to repay me. There’s no point.”
“There doesn’t need to be one. I just…”
“Just worry about yourself, okay? I don’t need you to be stirring up your own drama with fruitless attempts to pay me back. I’m perfectly capable on my own.”
“I’m not doubting how capable you are! I’m just being a fair person!”
“Nothing about any of this is fair,” he snipped. “It doesn’t matter what you do. You’re not going to set anything right. You should know better, anyways. You shouldn’t be trying to help me. I’m surprised Potter isn’t teaching you this.”
Y/N’s cheeks grew hot while the song slowly creaked to the end. “Malfoy--”
“I’m going to get us drinks.” He dropped her hand and was gone before another word could leave her lips.
It took Ginny no more than a minute to have her friend cornered in a quiet spot of the tent, her eyes glittering. “When were you going to tell me that you were going to ask Malfoy to be your date?”
“I didn’t,” Y/N told her. She decided that she might as well be truthful. “I just felt bad for him. Snape seemed like he was in a bad mood, and I don’t want to put him through that. I don’t want to put anyone through that.”
“Ugh, you are such a Hufflepuff,” her friend groaned. “I can’t believe you. You’re kind to a fault sometimes, you know.”
“What’s the harm, Gin?” asked Y/N. “He can’t hurt me. He’s not all that bad. He’s just a prat sometimes.”
“Can’t hurt you--oh, dear.” Ginny let out a shaky breath and ran her fingers through her hair, messing up the pinned portions. Y/N resisted the urge to cringe at the sight. “Hasn’t Harry told you? You need to stay away from Malfoy. He’s dangerous.”
“Dangerous?” increduled Y/N. “No way. He’s all bark, no bite. The worst thing he’s going to do is tell me that Hufflepuffs are stupid or something.”
“Y/N.” The intensity of Ginny’s voice made her snap to attention. “You really don’t know, do you? I can’t tell you now. But I’m sure Harry will later. Just...promise me you won’t let him get you alone? Ok? And please don’t do any other favors for him. You’ll understand later.”
They both turned at the sound of a male clearing his throat. Malfoy stood, uncomfortable and broody, carrying two goblets. “Am I interrupting anything?”
“No, not at all!” said Ginny, weirdly cheery. She leaned in, feigning to kiss Y/N’s cheek goodbye, but instead she whispered, “Don’t drink that.” And then she was gone.
“Trouble in paradise with Weaselette?” he asked.
She took the goblet and faked taking a sip. “Er, no. Why do you ask?”
“You look awfully pale, my dear.”
“It’s just the draft,” she told him, but in truth she knew that her face was suddenly flaming red again.
“Hm.” He, on the contrary, took a real, genuine sip out of his goblet. “Want to sit down somewhere? I’m thinking I probably going to want to get out of here soon.”
“To each their own,” responded Y/N. She was slowly becoming warier after Ginny’s speech. There’s no way he would...no...not after what he did for her. “I’m staying around until I get Slughorn to talk to me, personally. I want him to really like me.”
“That old bat? I’m sure he already likes you, if he’s inviting you here and all.”
“I don’t think he likes me, per se. I think he just likes who my family rubs elbows with.”
A rare smile stretched across Malfoy’s face, but it didn’t seem sweet. “Ah, I remember your family now. If I recall correctly, your mother used to come do fittings for my mother?”
“Um, yeah. I believe so.” Y/N attempted to smile back, but something in her felt...off. What didn’t she know about Malfoy? Was he actually capable of hurting her? Did he want to hurt her?
“I think I’ve overstayed my welcome,” Malfoy said after a few beats of silence. “Unless you’d like to join my thrilling pursuits with breaking curfew in restricted areas, I’d better be off.”
“Malfoy…” Y/N started. She had no idea what else to tell him.
“Yeah, that’s what I thought,” he said, sending her another one of those sly smiles that made her stomach turn. “Enjoy the rest of your night, alright?”
She made a sorry attempt to smile back. He kept looking down at her, so intently that it made her uncomfortable. He was thinking--about what, she couldn’t determine. But clearly it was something, and the gears were turning.
“May I suggest something?” His eyes glinted in the dim party lighting. Malfoy seemed to take her silence and wide-eyed stare as a yes, leaning in closer so quickly that she didn’t even have a chance to spring away.
“You’re supposed to swallow when you fake drinking something.”
He plucked the goblet out of her hand and took a sip, raising an eyebrow at her as if to say see?
Even long after he was gone, she could still feel his hot breath on her neck and hear the way his whispered voice sounded in her ear.
final a/n: hehe here i am 1 minute late!! probably later once i get all my links set up/copy paste all my tags but here it is! this is a TEASER! so remember that! i hope to get the real oneshot out sometime after i get wonders of ohio p 10 out. let me know if this is something you guys want to read/if you like this version of draco. i rlly want to write a flirtier draco because i think we could all use that right now

            Din wasn’t leaving Satine’s side, no matter how much she said she was okay. Satine wasn’t safe here, and Din hadn’t fought off Death Watch for her just for them to kill her at home. Besides, Bo-Katan had glued herself to Satine’s side, so Din could uphold his promise to teach the girl about more traditional Mandalorian customs. It was a win-win situation, in Din’s opinion. Plus, Grogu loved Satine and was warming up to Bo-Katan, and Satine was not so subtly listening in on Din’s lessons. However, she had drawn the line at self-defense practice in her office, mainly because Bo-Katan had thrown some ornamental decoration at Din once.
         Obi-wan had been spending as much time with them as feasible. The poor kid had a lot of homework (apparently something Jedi still had to do) to catch up on, and there was definitely something Jinn was keeping from them- probably whatever had gone down during their council meeting. Din didn’t care too much; let the Jetii keep his secrets.
         The most amusing and annoying thing was that the more often Din was seen by Satine’s side, the more and more people took notice of him. One would think people would get over the novelty, but apparently, he was just becoming a bigger mystery. And, according to an article Bo-Katan had shown him, some people in Sundari were- ugh- ‘fangirling’ over him. Logically, Din knew in his time that Mandalorians were the subject of admiration, but to have it shoved in his face was unpleasant.
         All in all, it had been a quiet few days- putting Din on edge. That changed when Satine’s comm went off in the middle of a meeting. She had scanned the message, going from confused to concerned, before standing from her seat.
         “Excuse me,” she said primly, “I have just been informed of an important, unexpected visitor. We will resume this meeting at a later time.”
         Satine left the room, giving no room for argument, and Din followed her. “Who is it?” Din asked when they were alone.
         Satine spared him a glance. “Grandmaster Yoda.” It took Din a second to remember why he remembered that name, and he nearly stopped walking in shock. Satine didn’t attempt to hide her smirk.
         “Why?”
         Satine shrugged. “Obi-wan didn’t say. I can only imagine it has to do with you and Grogu.”
         Din’s mind was a flurry of concocted images of what an older Grogu looked like. They ranged from a normal-sized person that was green with giant ears to a wrinkly version of his son. It was a train of thought that Din cut off quickly.
         Din couldn’t check on Grogu to see what the kid thought about the situation- Obi-wan had asked to take Grogu to meditate with him and Jinn. Din was weak for Grogu’s tooka eyes, and he trusted Obi-wan to watch the kid.
         Guessing what Din was thinking, Satine said, “Obi-wan is bringing Grogu.”
         Din acknowledged her, and they continued in silence.
         The ship Yoda came in was small and had a marking on the side that Din didn’t recognize. He supposed that it was the Jedi Order symbol. No one had gotten off the ship by the time Satine and Din made their way over to Obi-wan, Jinn, and Grogu. Grogu cooed at Din, and Obi-wan transferred him over to Din’s arms.
         “He just landed,” Jinn told them. Satine straightened up, brushing back flyaway hairs and smoothing down her dress. Din was still getting used to her being dressed up; it gave an interesting look combined with her vambraces, which now had grey swirls covering them. Din was trying to convince Satine to get even more armor or consider armor weave clothes. Mostly, so she was more protected, but also because the pinched look on the New Mandalorians in the palace when they saw their Duchess in armor was funny.
         The ship’s ramp opened, snapping Din out of his thoughts. Grogu perked up and started babbling. Slowly, someone rounded the corner and appeared, and Din could just make out the sound of a cane tapping along the ground. No amount of pondering could’ve prepared Din for Master Yoda. He was short, would maybe only come up to Din’s knee, and his years were large like Grogu’s. Apparently, the ears just grew proportionally large to their body. Good to know. The man was wrinkled and had the faintest whisps of white hair on his head. Yoda click-click-clicked his way down the ramp, moving slowly even though Din had the feeling the man would move faster is he wanted. No one spoke until Yoda stopped in front of their group. Grogu had gone silent and was staring with wide eyes at Yoda.
         “Master Jinn, Padawan Kenobi, good to see you, it is,” Yoda spoke, having the weirdest speech pattern Din had ever heard. Would Grogu sound like that when the kid learned to talk? Want cookies, I do buir- “And Duchess, very sorry for your loss, I am.”
         Satine bowed her head. “Thank you, Master Yoda.”
         Yoda hummed and rested his hands on his wooden cane. He looked Din up and down, smiling when he rested his eyes on Grogu, who was still staring. “Introduce me, you should grand-padawan of mine. To be rude, it is not good.”
         Jinn cleared his throat. “Yes, of course, Master Yoda. This is Mando and his, uh, son Grogu.”
         “Son, you say? Hrmm,” Yoda said. “Adopted, I hope, fit under that helmet, your ears would not.”
         “Uh, yes. I did adopt him,” Din responded, feeling incredibly awkward under the older Jedi’s gaze. Yoda nodded sagely, ear drooping a bit- a startling familiar gesture that Grogu also had.
         “Been through much, Grogu has, I hear. Glad I am, the Force has brought you together, yes,” Yoda said. Grogu cooed at his name. “Yes, little one, remember you, I do. Only just born were you.”
         Nope, nope, Din wasn’t going to think about that. Except- “Are you his birth father?”
         Yoda laughed. “Me? Oh no, much too old I am for such things.”
         “Ah. Ok.”
         “Hm, yes.” Yoda turned his unnerving gaze back to Jinn and Obi-wan. “Taking long, he is.”
         “Who, Master Yoda?” Obi-wan asked with a curious tilt of his head. Jinn focused back in on the ship and sucked in a breath. At that moment, another person descended the ramp. They were a humanoid male with dark hair streaked with gray. They walked regally, nose turned up and cape flaring behind them. They looked like the mental image Din had connected in his head of a Jedi. There was something familiar about him.
         “Master Dooku?” Jinn muttered, and the man, Dooku, approached.
         “Qui-gon,” Dooku greeted, “Obi-wan. Duchess.”
         Satine smiled. “I was unaware you were coming along, Master Dooku, was it? I shall have the staff prepare you a room.”
         “Thank you,” Dooku said, ducking his head. When he looked back up, his gaze focused on Din and Grogu. Grogu curled up tighter in Din’s arms with a whimper- a reaction no one expected.
         “Grogu?” Obi-wan muttered, stepping to get a look at the kid. “What’s wrong?” Grogu whined again. “Count? No, that’s Master Dooku, Master Qui-gon’s master.”
         Dooku looked confused and concerned, his brows furrowing when Obi-wan said, ‘Count.’ “My apologizes; I do not intend to frighten you, young one.”
         Grogu gave Dooku the stink eye but relaxed. Din decided to keep an eye on Dooku.
         “Interesting, this is,” Yoda said, pulling their attention back to him. “Continue this discussion inside, may we? Old, we are, a cold we may catch.”
            Jinn barely stifled a sigh, eyes flashing towards the sky. Obi-wan was smiling, though.
         Satine seemed to startle. “Oh, yes, of course, we can go to one of the conference rooms.”
         “Going us, you will be, Duchess?” Yoda asked pleasantly.
         Satine looked uncertain for a second before she straightened up. “Yes. This situation involves my people too.”
         Yoda nodded as if in approval. “A good leader, you are. Come, let us go.”
         Obi-wan kneeled, and Yoda hopped onto Obi-wan’s shoulder, and in an impressive display of balance, Obi-wan stood and began walking. It looked so natural that Din could only assume Yoda did this a lot. Din caught Grogu looking up at his shoulder.
         “No,” Din muttered. “Not while you still fit in my arms.”
         Grogu pouted but quickly got over it as he remembered how much he liked being held. The walk to the conference room was filled with chattered between Obi-wan and Yoda, the older Jedi asking the boy about his adventures. Obi-wan was happy to tell Yoda about evading Death Watch, how they’d meet Din, and all the new foods he had tried. Jinn and Dooku were sharing whispers, some argument if Din had to guess. Occasionally Grogu would babble, and one of the Jedi would respond in kind. Din definitely wasn’t jealous that they could understand his son. Nope. No way.
         When they reached the conference room, they settled at the table, locking the doors to prevent unwanted interruptions. Din sat between Obi-wan and Satine, Grogu on his lap. Together, they recounted what they had gathered about the future, the kids saving Din from having to wear out his voice. The adult Jedi, while good at concealing their emotions, couldn’t hide their horror when hearing about the Jedi Purge or the glassing of Mandalore. Even the state of the galaxy after the Empire was abysmal. But when they were done, Grogu began furiously babbling and climbed onto the table to point at Dooku. Dooku looked like he didn’t know if he should be afraid or just confused. But all the Jedi’s faces crumpled at whatever Grogu was communicating.
         “No, I would never….” Dooku trailed off.
         “What is it?” Satine asked worriedly.
         “Grogu, Grogu says that Master Dooku led the Separatists- and was a Sith,” Obi-wan said, sounding shaken. Din shot up and grabbed his son while pushing Obi-wan and Satine’s chairs behind him. This was the man responsible for his parent's death, for the deaths of so many people!
         Satine grabbed Din’s arm before he could pull his blaster. “Don’t!”
         “We’re trying to fix the future, right?” Din all but growled, eyes still looking on Dooku. “Well, I know one way we can do that.”
         “Master Dooku is not a Sith!” Jinn complained, coming to his Master’s defense.
         “Don’t know what that is. But he’s the one who led the army that killed my entire village,” Din said hotly. “I think I’d be doing the galaxy a favor.”
         Dooku slowly stood up, keeping his hands planted firmly on the table. “You are angry,” he said. “Understandably so. I find it hard to believe I could do such things, but clearly, something happened. You want revenge, and I will not deny you that. Take it if you truly think I deserve it.”
         The room was tensely silent, Satine still hanging onto Din’s arm. Din’s chest was heaving, long suppressed memories returning- the sound of blaster fire, the sight of scattered bodies, the smell of blood and-
            A small hand was on his chin, reaching up under his helmet. Din took a deep breath and looked down. Grogu was staring up at him, wide eyes sad and, and- almost afraid.
         At that moment, all the fight left his body, and Din collapsed back into his chair. He hugged Grogu close, whispering apologies for scaring his son. A glance showed that Satine looked scared too, even if she tried to hide it, so Din pulled her in, and Obi-wan, too, for good measure.
         “The Sith still alive, likely they are,” Yoda said when Din released hi the kids, ears dropping sadly. “Grave news, this is.”
         “What are we going to do, Masters?” Obi-wan asked, eyes darting between the three Jedi. The three men shared a look.
         “Meditate, we will. See if answers, the Force will provide us.” Yoda nodded and hopped from his seat. He kindly smiled at Obi-wan. “Rest, you should. Long days ahead of us, there will be."
         They all walked back to the guest rooms together. It was late, and some of the staff had brought late meal to their rooms. They all agreed to meet in the morning to devise a plan of action and discuss if the Force told them anything (Din didn’t know how ethereal magic could speak to the Jedi using meditation, but he decided not to ask).
         Satine had told Din to rest in his room, insisting she’d be fine sleeping alone, that he should be able to sleep without his armor for once. Din somehow lost that argument, still rattled from learning who Dooku was- or, more accurately, would become.
         Din drifted asleep with Grogu curled up on his unarmored chest.
         It was barely light out when he woke up, not fully knowing what pulled him from his sleep. It took him a moment to register the beeping of his comm. Din was on high alert when we answered it, already out of bed and working his armor on. Satine’s frantic and slightly afraid voice came from the tiny speaker.
         “Din- we need you in the hanger. Jango Fett is here, and he’s demanding to speak to you.”

Ok ill bite whats the worst mg series
alright, whats the worst magical girl series in your opinion?
Thanks you two for letting me do some yelling. The obvious guess would likely be one of the recent edgelord shows right? Magical Girl Site or something similar? But nay I say, for while MGS and Day Break Illusion and such and what not generally tell you what to expect right away. Don't like super violence and suffering? Watch something else is the clear message from the get go. One of the bait and switch series then like Madoka or maybe Yuki Yuna? For what faults they may or may not have, at least these series do something and are interesting, even if you're not huge on what goes down in the series. A parody then? They range from affectionate to banned in New Zealand but regardless of quality and their feelings for MGs, it's a parody. It's a joke and shouldn't be taken seriously (plus they're usually short so you can just forget about them forever).
So what makes a series terrible then, I am sure you are asking. IMO? Setting expectations for an interesting and enjoyable series, and then dashing them to hell.
Come with me below the cut, as I talk about Key Princess Story: Kagihime Eternal Alice Rondo!
Spoilers abound so if you care about those for a 15 year old series, click away.
Background: Kagihime was a 4 volume manga that ran from 2004-2006 that was picked up for a 13 episode anime adaptation near the end of its run. The manga is created by a pair (Kaishaku) who you may know for making Magical Nyan Nyan Taruto. Kannazuki no Miko, and Steel Angel Kurumi, and the anime had a script written by the same writer (Mamiko Ikeda) for Tenshi Ni Narumon who also did some script writing for Princess Tutu and Seven of Seven. The anime also had 6 character music videos which are fairly simple but a nice addition to the series for the main girls. Discotek has been publishing the anime in the states in recent years, and the manga was brought over by *squints at book spine* Dr Master Publications.
The Premise: Girls transform and enter weird outside of reality spaces to fight each other with giant keys to take each other’s stories to create a third Alice In Wonderland story.
Well, an off-brand Alice story written by Alternate L. Takion, rather than Lewis Carroll/Charles Dodgson, that while the series uses all the aesthetic hallmarks of the tradition Alice, the little we see of the in universe Alice story is clearly different. Which is fine, at the end of the day, it’s still about someone who loves the Alice stories and wishes there was more, and even makes his own fanfiction version. His? Oh yeah, while the girls do all the fighting, the main character is Aruto, a teen boy who loves Alice, and for reasons we don’t know till late game, can enter the liminal spaces that the ‘Alice Users’ fight in. He chases a girl who looks like the Alice he sees in his story, who is named Arisu, and gets roped into this fanfic battle royale. He is also the older brother of the very needy Kirihara, who also ends up being and Alice User. As does Kirihara’s bff Kisa. To round out the group of enemies-turned-friends-who-will-work-together-to-collect-the-Eternal-Alice-without-having-to-fight-eachother group is a young genius researcher Kirika who wants to know more about Aruto’s connection that allows him to enter the spaces where the girls fight.
Then there’s all the other girls, some of whom still have real importance to the story and some who have a few panels or 2 scenes total. But with a whole bunch of girls to design, the creators reached out to a whole lot of other people to have them create designs! Eventually the battle gets down to the last few girls, there’s a confrontation with the guy running the whole thing, and while the anime and manga vary quite a bit the whole time, in both version Aruto ends up with Kirihara. Oh and Arisu was created by Aruto’s super imagination powers.
The Promise: Here on is subjective, particularly with what I personally saw as potential from this series. because I need you to understand how much I want to like this series.
~Alice in Wonderland themed: I know some people aren’t alice fans and that’s fine you do you but as a big alice fan this is great. We have a few alice episodes and themed characters amongst series like CCS and MGRP, and even Alice themes in other series like Tweeny Witches and Alice 19th. But damn it I am down for Alice series.
~Giant Keyyyyyyyys: Yeah yeah Kingdom Hearts but these keys are much more staff like for a lot of the characters which ads and air of elegance rather than the KH ones that for me at least feel well designed for big ol props rather than actual weapons. We also get...
~Weapon variety: It counts as a key if it’s a thorn whip that can be shaped like a key right? How about a giant pocket knife? Crossbows can also be keys. Hush. And we have this variety because
~Guest Artists: For magical girl series where we have a variety of outfits designed by different people, we have Kagihime, Uta~Kata, and uhh I guess Magia Record? But that’s a mobile game with a hella number of characters and with how mobile game works I wouldn’t count it just because it’s less the intent of the series to have variety and more the nature of having lots of girls. (Precure doesn’t count because unless I missed a memo each season’s set is still by one designer). If a series isn’t about a team and therefore doesn’t need cohesion, bringing in other artists is a great way for variety and new looks.
~The long term goal: Fighting with other people who love the same piece of media you do in hopes of creating new material that will be viewed as official? That’s just fandom nowadays. But it’s a legitimate interesting concept, and opens up so many doors for a message for the series, be it ‘what you create is no less valuable than the canon work’ or ‘it’s hard to let go when something you love doesn’t have more to it but you can still love it for what it is’ or ‘bond with the people who like the thing you like ya idiot instead of fighting about it’. The concept is interesting and there are so many narrative ways you can take this.
~Gays: Between the anime and manga, we have at least 5 wlw. Is it a magical girl series without some gays? (side note- the manga had a short thing where the MC wears a girl’s uniform and is pretty comfortable in it and while there is no way this was the intent, between that and the emphasis on the stories that live in girls and how the fight zones have no men, I’m just saying, Trans girl Aruto.)
~Greater Fairy Tale Premise: We meet a Little Match Girl based MG who is obsessed with Andersen rather than the Alice books, and touch on a Sleeping Beauty character in the manga. The manga at least implies that classic stories and fairy tale authors uh. Live on in a liminal space as immortals with world warping powers within that world and there could be opportunities for other girls in the real world to fight for Little Mermaid 2: Electric Boogaloo.
The Good: Everything has positive points, no matter how bad it is.
~Character Designs: Some of those looks slap. As do most of their weapons.
~Backgrounds: I have a strong opinion on backgrounds in anime that can be easily boiled down to old watercolor backgrounds good, modern filtered photos as background bad, and as a 2006 series, this might not be Memole nice but they’re quite attractive.
~Splash Pages: Easily my favorite thing after the designs, each chapter’s title page for the manga just has a character standing in a setting. Which is not everyone’s thing I’m sure but it’s a nice simplistic way to let the characters breathe imo. Even if at least some of the settings were deffo traced. But that’s how backgrounds work to some extent? If I ever get to the Met again, I am tracking down this exact photo, but here is a likely candidate for an example.
~Different Versions: I do not understand the need to make an adaptation that tries to be a 1:1. Kagihime had the same ideas and characters and did some of the same beats but very much had a different finale story and a lot of changes in the middle (like the Alice cops in the manga). Again, not something everyone probably wants I’m sure, but I very appreciate this, especially since the Anime kept good pace with the number of Manga chapters (reading the manga again while watching the anime at 3.8x speed just now was very interesting to see the different interpretations of events in a different medium.)
The ‘Fine’: Yeah.
~Anime Visuals: Look 2006 was still early enough into digipaint that I will give it a total pass on these. The colors are too bright but in a very bland way, the lineart is nothing interesting, and the faces are. Iffy. But it’s not total garbage to look at (probably helped by backgrounds and character designs...) it just came out in an era where not enough people knew how to stylize things to account for the weakness of the tools of the time. (It was 4 years earlier but I feel Kagihime is the polar opposite of Chobits with its painfully bland color palette while still being just. Flat. Sorry for the drive by Chii.)
~Music?: There sure were songs. Obviously, they are nothing to me.
The Bad: CW for.... somehow all the big things to an extent.
~Fanservice: Look, I am fine with fanservice, especially for a series that’s, ya know, not targeted at kids, big Mai Hime fan here even if I would recommend skipping the panty thief episode. And honestly the series generally isn’t fanservicey, at least by the modern standards of having the camera choosing under the skirt rather than an over the shoulder shot like I’ve seen plenty in other shows. Even the sexier outfits like the rose whip dominatrix aren’t bad BUT. When the girls fight. One takes her phallic key and drives it into another girls chest between the boobs while the loser cries in pain and then her book comes out and when the victor rips out pages, the loser’s clothes also rip. It is very SuperS Amazon Trio assault metaphor-y. There’s also a bit of fanservice with the sister becauseeeee....
~Incest: If you read the premise up there, first wow good job because I’m sure not re-reading that, you might have noticed I said MC ends up with his sister. As someone who is a big mythology fan and watches plenty of anime, I have a decent tolerance for your obligatory ‘oh we’re siblings but actually cousins so our feelings are okay’ or whatever the fuck Citrus has going on I don’t know that series and I don’t vibe BUT. I have limits and boy did this series go beyond that because multiple episodes are dedicated to the sister being in love with the brother? And the brother returns her feelings but knows that they are wrong so he put everything he likes in his sister into his version of Alice who, of course, physically manifests as Arisu who he creates accidentally with his uh. Magic imagination powers. But again in both versions MC still ends up with his sister. Hey, at least the manga eventually said the boy was adopted when the sister was like, 3, so if nothing else no blood relations? The anime did not ad this. -_-
~Under Utilized Characters: Arisu’s gradual revelation that she has no childhood memories because she isn’t a real person is so interesting and they don’t do nothing with it but also? That’s the kind of thing I personally would love to dig into and Kagihime, while touching on this world shattering revelation, easily loops back to So Anyway She Should Fight For The Man and to hell with developing a life or personality outside of what has been written for her. The rest of the main 5 were 2 note characters which. Could be worse? The most interesting character ends up being the child genius who accidentally murdered her childhood bestie (and/or lover? depending on version) and her coming to terms with that (the friend is alive but the version changes how and why she thinks she’s dead). Then the villain has the motivation of ‘i lost my creativity and now have become an immortal living outside of normal space and am getting girls to fight each other because that’s like a story so I’m still relevant right?’. But shoutout to the anime for then taking death of the author literally. The numerous other girls are canon fodder outside of like. The manga version of the dead gf and the little match girl.
~Battle Royale: This is not a thing I have an issue with generally. Again, but Mai Hime fan, I need to read MGRP 11, BUT by not developing the non-main girls there is no emotional connection which makes them just canon fodder and that’s boring as sin for a royale system. The initial main character fights revolve so much around the MC guy being there that they fall flat, and the 2 or 3 final battles in both versions still feel without any stakes. Also for a royale thing most of the characters don’t actually die, which cool! Neat! Except when they do? Some nobodies and a somebody are murdered (at least in the manga) and the tone never feels like it’s supposed to be upping the stakes, it’s just. Some people are dead now. And do you want to guess which of the main characters died?
~Gays: Oh boy the best friend of the brother-complex sister is in love with her and (in the manga) dies. She does apparently get better for the last chapter but the death itself is only felt by the rest of the cast for a page or two before we go back to feeling sad big brother wants to kiss his mentally generated sister clone rather than his actual sister u_u. Bury your gays is nothing new, but I wonder if it was also intended to be justified because Guess Who Is Creepy and a bit Perverted? Oh look the lesbian keeps the used swimsuit of her beloved and manipulates events to get an indirect kiss and when she sees the sister trying to strange Arisu for a moment she decides to do it for the sister? It’s not good. You want bad gay rep in a magical girl series, well here ya go. We also had a nobody in the first(second?) episode whose story pages reveal her having a kiss with a girl, and then we also have the prodigy again and- in the manga- her. Uh. childhood lover who she thought she killed but the girl has been wiping her mind over and over so prodigy remembers ‘killing’ the friend and not the she’s alive so she can keep? fucking with her? Toxic!
~Sexual Content: But wait you say, you already covered fanservice! Ah but that is sexual content for titilation. This is sexual content for dramatic backstory! The red riding hood character was sexually assaulted, another character was manipulated into sex first as a teen and then more often to ‘get into the publishing industry’, and the same writer forces some aggressive kisses on the MC. None of it is gratuitous which is nice, but also, was it necessary? Not making a new point for this but read riding hood’s dog was also murdered so unnecessary animal death gets tossed on in there.
~Male Lead: You can have a male, non magical character as the main character surrounded by magical girls. This is not how to do it. If I can make a vicious and hopefully not understood reference, Aruto is basically Tate from the Mai Hime Manga. If you understood that, I am so sorry. If you didn’t, congrats! Don’t read the manga. Or do and send me asks about the iconic final page of the first volume (18+). Anyway, this dude is boring, everything revolves around him, BUT I’ll be generous and say at least this isn’t a harem series? It looks like it out of context but it’s just a triangle with a fun attached scientist and token lesbian.
~Premise: They didn’t make good use of it. The initial goals of ‘take other girls pages from their soul books because if we get enough we unlock a third alice book’ is good! And then we add the twist that that was never going to happen and either if we get all the pages we can grant a wish, or these fights are just happening for the amusement of and asshole. Either way, yeah okay I guess. But at no point do we ever achieve this forbidden wish granting book and the asshole just. Lives. Nothing happens to him. His peers don’t even dunk on him. The only real changes from the beginning and the end of the series are: the siblings are now chill with dating, and the scientist lady won’t turn into a child in magical spaces. Oh. Yeah.
~Why did we make this adult a child sometimes?: I think we know why. Stop trying to get those types of folks to watch your already meh series. I also could have sworn at points in the past looking up images for this series I’ve seen extra art for Yuuri the Thumbelina-y Alice User that seemed like it would fit alongside anything by POP. You know, the Moetan guy. If you don’t know, god I wish that were me.
Wrap Up: I have definitely forgotten some points and am well within my rights to ad to this whenever I remember more points but uh. Yeah.
Listen you want an alice themed battle royale with nice outfits? Rozen maiden is right there. Battle Royale magical girl series that’s good with fanservice? Mai Hime. Series with different outfits while being based on a classic story? Pretear.
Hope anyone who read all of this at least got what I was saying, even if they don’t agree with it. And thanks for reading because whoops.
