"Having an existential crisis again?" A voice from behind had pulled him back to the present. He turned at once, his eyes capturing fully the form of a man that had brought him so much happiness into his life.

Which characters do you think would try to hide their growing bulge and which do you think wouldn’t? Like I feel as if some of them would WANT you to see what you do to them, and get you all embarrassed, while others would be horrified that they’re hard in front of you.

Who Wouldn't Hide:

Episode 2 ~ Silent Struggles

Instead of doing far more with each other they settled for a chat. It was a nice and warm night and Marcos didn't want it to go to waste.

Besides, the passion behind the kiss had sparked a thought in Paul's mind. A thought that he had been meaning to put out into the world. "Have you thought of just quitting this all?"

"Yeah," Marcos answered lazily. It was on his mind. Just quitting. Currently, he sold weed and whatever he could get his hands on and while his father offered him exactly 0 help it was understood from the local gangs and fellow substance traders that messing with Marcos was messing with the cartel. Privilege was a thing that passively benefits someone, after all.

"Aaaand?" Paul poked, already imagining a future for the two of them. "We could steal off away to Windenburg or Sulani or-"

"I feel like I'd be running," his reply was practiced. It was as if he had already played through this conversation in his mind. "I'm not much of a runner Paul, you know that."

Paul didn't sigh or make any noise and yet Marcos could hear his disappointment. His feet kicking in the water like a kid pouting from being denied ice cream.

"You're never going to make him happy, you know?" Paul said after a bit of silence was shared between them. "He hates you for who you are and you can't change that. Make a gagillion simoleons and he'd still be disappointed. You know that."

"I do," Marcos wouldn't deny that reality. His father had tried his best to make him 'right' and his mom, while well intentioned, allowed it. Too focused on doting on her only daughter and hiding behind Alonso's claim of 'Only a man can raise a man'. Marcos grew to realize he wasn't looking to be man, at least not how his father defined manhood, he was looking for love, acceptance, and something else he couldn't quite name. If it wasn't for the love of his sister he'd have no family at all.

"I'm not doing this for his acceptance," he said firmly, a decision he had made years ago. "I'm simply taking what is mine, what is owed to ME. He doesn't want to give it to me and so I'll take it. It’s really that simple."

This time Paulo did sigh. "I just worry about the cost is all..."

📽️ Soapdish (1991)

In the spirit of total transparency, I watched this solely for RDJ. Again, in honesty, I barely remember it. It wasn’t the most interesting storyline, but I did like that it was sort of making fun of soap operas by being one itself. None of the characters was likable, which is good because that was the point. I probably wouldn’t watch this again, but it wasn’t bad the first time.

Sex/nudity: 3/10 (many sexual innuendoes and gestures as well as sexual conversation and implications, some kissing)

Language: 4/10 (two f-bombs and quite a bit of other language)

Violence: 1/10 (a woman knees and slaps a man)

Overall rating: 5/10
