Next April’s the 10th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement and I want to do a short documentary about Northern Ireland. Nothing huge, just a retrospective over the past 10 years with a personal angle. And I want you to write the script. _ Eight years after an ill-fated summer romance, 27-year-old James and Erin make a film. derry girls | james/erin | future fic | chapter 7/9 | rated T |read on ao3|

On 19 October 1989, Gerry Conlon stormed out of the Old Bailey in London, with his sisters Bridie and Ann, and delivered an extraordinary, impromptu speech that has become iconic in recent Irish history: “I’ve been in prison 15 years, for something I didn’t do. Something I didn’t know anything about. I’m a totally innocent man – I watched my father die in a British prison for something he didn’t…

@ilovedig and I spent ages the other day trying to identify everyone in this photo. Eventually we realised that Gerry and the Pacemakers are in it.
"Les" is Les Maguire, and Paul2 is likely Les Chadwick. (When I first saw this photo I was freaked out by how both guys in the top right look like Paul).
Any ideas who "Big guy" might be?
