I figured that I should probably share who’s everyone’s godly parent in the pjo x twst AU

This is something that both me and a friend worked on to decide, so here it is!

There are a few minor gods chosen, so I’ll explain:

Philotes is the goddess of friendship and affection and is a daughter of Nyx (and possibly Erebos)

Tyche is the goddess of fortune, chance, providence and fate

Keto is the goddess of dangers of the sea and sea monsters

Hecate is the goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, moon ghosts and necromancy (Note that Sebek would probably be a legacy in this AU)

Hypnos is the god of sleep and he is the twin brother of Thanatos and son of Nyx

If you’re wondering who the MC is, then Yuu is the Oracle of Delphi. Grim is… a monster, who knows?

ah yes: the game of “we’re really 2 rats in a trench coat” or You are not Yuu.

You are Yuu. The house warden of Ramshackle, you've been the house warden for months now. Making connections as you try your best to navigate your life at Night Raven College. A prestigious school of magic, magic, of all things! You don't remember much about back home, but, you are pretty sure that magic is not normal in people's lives. You have lived through four different overpowered overblots.

But, You are Yuu, and you are happy.

You have friends, people who feel like family. Do you have a family? You don't remember, but you remember the feeling of warmth that you feel at Night Raven. No matter how many times you are continuously gifted this warmth time and time again by the people you've met, you can't help but feel empty as if there is a hole in your heart. It's not hard to live with it. Sometimes, you don't even notice it. But you know it's there, because, everyone around you makes you long for more. The more you are given, the more you long for. The more your heart aches, wishing to remember

You are Yuu, and you're missing something, someone.

Dire Crowley calls out to you a few days before the break is over after that bastard left you whilst you dealt with another overblot. You are called down to the mirror chamber, that damned mirror who called on you, who brought you over to this world. There's a new student. That is all you are told until you get there, you meet with the head mage, and he provides you with important information. The new student is like you. Brought to this world, albeit, a tad bit late into the year. It brings excitement into your veins. Your world?! Maybe they'll have answers as to what home is like. Hundreds of questions fill your head until you remember.

You are Yuu, and your heart aches for the new student.

You ask Crowley if the mirror can send them home and he says no. And there, that is when your heart burns. You wanna cry, you wanna sob for them. But..you can't. No matter how much your heart aches for them, for this person who was whisked away in the dead of night, brought to a world where their entire existence is out of the question. Where they are immediately settled at the bottom of the food chain. A magicless being. Just like you. But, you cannot lie here and sob whilst someone whose confusion and pain lives fresh, stand alone in the chambers, in this school. You know the importance of a guide (Your heart glows ever so slightly at the thought of your friends who have led you through this world).

So you steel yourself, you ask Crowley to lead the way and he nods. Crowley ever so excitingly opens the doors to the chamber wide open, you cannot see from behind the head mage so you are unable to gauge how that may have startled the new student. But you do see, ever so slightly, how a body twists to face Crowley. The bird greets them in a friendly manner before introducing you. His large hand splayed on your back as he pushes you forward to meet face to face with the new student. Their hood is cover their head, so you cannot get much from them. They are your size, you note, that same seemingly malnourished form, sickly thin as if back from the dead. Even the same height you muse. You can see their shoulders tense, but you shake it off as fear, you were as tense as them at first too. (The ache is back.) You smile in good nature, sticking out your hand for a greeting, you're ready for them to greet you shakily. Perhaps ask you if any if this is real, if they're dreaming, that is what you ready yourself for. Ready to comfort them, tell them that it's all real. You wait, ready.

What you're not ready for is for their hands to reach up, swinging the hood of the ceremonial rob off, and to be met with the same face. Same hair and you bet if you brushed away those bangs, same eyes. This, this is you staring back at.. well, you.

And then it hits you. It sinks in that...

You are not Yuu.

Everything comes flooding back to you, you were dead. Died defending the camp, just one good blow to the head, and you were gone. While the death part came fast, your life is what really hit you. Camp, your father, the Gods and... Pollux. Your twin. Your brother. Your other half. And suddenly the hole in your heart is filled, and you feel whole again.

["Castor,"] you hear your brother breathes out in your mother tongue, and suddenly you are snapped back into reality. Here he is, in front of you, after you had left him unwillingly to the underworld. You surge forward, vaguely you register Crowley's sound of confusion in the background, but you don't care. Here he is, your brother, your big brother. You are not alone anymore.

Your arms are around him, his are around you too, and your feel loved. You feel grounded. ["Pollux,"] you whisper back into his ear. Tears well up in your eyes, and you grip on harder. "Lux, Lux... I di-died!" The tears fall down your eyes, your voice cracking and your brother brings his hand up to your head bringing it to his shoulder.

"You did, [you did die,"] Pollux pauses. ["Pretty asshole-like move."] You snort, shoulders shaking in laughter, of course. Pollux really does take after father.

"My, my, my! What a surprise," Crowley interrupts after everything was said and done. "Would you like to explain, perhaps, Yuu and....?"

["Lux,] Lux." Pollux, who was facing Crowley, introduced himself with the nickname you would affectionately call him.

"Yuu and Lux, perhaps, do you two know each other?"

Pollux, Lux, snorts: yeah, what else do we look like? your brother snarks at Crowley and you turn to see Crowley bristle and you know he's comparing your personalities. He lets out a dry laugh. 'I guess I'll leave explanations to you' and suddenly the two of you are alone in the chambers. You two talk for what seems like hours just sitting on the ground in the chambers. Questions are asked and answers are given, until, they reach the end of the conversation. Where a final point is brought up by Lux.

"What now?" A blaring question. Something that, if they were normal people, would be pretty simple. But you are not Yuu, you are Castor. You are a Demigod. While within the time you've been in Twisted Wonderland you haven't been attacked by monsters, it is the unknowing that truly brings you fear. Did you even have any of your abilities? The idea that you didn't brought a sinking feeling into your stomach. "What do we do?" And suddenly, Lux pulls a face at your question.

"What do you mean 'What now,' why, we do what we do best." Lux shook himself off. Your brother shakes their head as they match your posture, and you're suddenly looking at a perfect mirror of how you're sitting. "Let's play a game, share a life."

Pollux's voice was always just deeper than yours, while it wasn't that important, it was a big enough of a difference to tell you and your brother apart. But now, the voice coming from them was exactly yours. And suddenly you know.

You may not be Yuu, but.. the both of you will make Yuu real.

"Really? Where did you get Yuu from??" Lux had laughed.

🐍(signing with a snake for convenience) thank you for the good luck wishes, i finished the exam and it went alright! i saw your earlier post, how are you feeling right now? i myself have a cat too and can only imagine how devastated i would feel if the same thing happened to me, i'm really sorry you're going through this and hope you're still taking care of yourself. if it helps as a distraction, how would you imagine nico (& leo if you wish!) as new students at NRC?

signing with the 🐍 emoji reminds me of jamil, which imo is good because i love jamil haha. so hopefully you like him too. glad your exam went well! i'm feeling a little better now than i was earlier, but still not great, honestly. my family took that cat in as a stray who we have evidence to believe had been abandoned, and we'd given her a matching name with our other cat--our first cat is named daisy, and the one who died was named lily. we knew she'd have to be put down sooner or later but everybody felt so sure that it wouldn't be this soon. i sincerely hope your cat lives a long, healthy life.

as for your question: hmm, well, i'm terrible at explaining my thoughts sometimes. let's see if i can come up with something that makes sense LOL. i'm going to imagine an AU where rather than being isekai'd like yuu, nico is just a character from the twst universe.

so the way i see nico in the current riordanverse canon is that he's made a lot of progress toward healing from his trauma and trying to be happier and more outgoing, like he was when we were first introduced to him in titan's curse. he cares about others and wants to be able to have friends. but he still has a lot of anxiety about putting himself out there, and he still barely understands modern technology (which, i'm unsure how that'd be explained in this scenario, but it's a magic world, anything could've happened. maybe he's a fae or half-fae, or maybe he was stuck in some sort of magical stasis for decades like in PJO.) and has this lingering fear that he doesn't fit in with most people. i also see him as a natural extrovert who mostly became withdrawn as a trauma response.

so i guess if we took nico with his canon personality/development and made him a character in the twst universe, then he'd be incredibly nervous about going to NRC and not knowing how people there will react to him, but he'd also be willing to try his best. and if he got placed into ignihyde, then he'd soon end up feeling frustrated because, okay, sure, he can see why the dark mirror looked at his soul and thought he should be put into this gloomy, lifeless dorm full of quiet serious people who keep to themselves. not too long ago he might've thought that was perfect! but now because most ignihyde students keep to themselves or to their own groups while also hardly leaving their rooms, it makes for a very lonely atmosphere when nico no longer wants to be alone all the time. and when he does try to speak to his dormmates he doesn't really get most of what they try to talk about because they're engineers and tech nerds and he... very much isn't. he also doesn't understand how to operate most of the technology the dorm is filled with and runs on.

i can imagine him wanting to transfer dorms but being terrified of not fitting in any better anywhere else, until he ends up talking with yuu during alchemy class and finding out that they live in a dorm that's haunted by ghosts and otherwise only has a population of two. nico and yuu could relate to each other in a sense because even though yuu has ace and deuce as friends, they still feel lost and out of place in this world. and they think it's pretty cool that nico can control and summon ghosts. they sort of joke that it'd be a lot easier to keep the ghosts in line if they had his magic, and he's like. well what if i moved into your dorm and helped you out. which crowley decides to allow and nico is a lot happier there because even though ramshackle is way smaller than ignihyde, it's also less lonely. he can talk to the ghosts and to yuu and grim. and as he gets more used to being there and a little less afraid of opening up, he could make friends with some of his other classmates. maybe even with some of his old dormmates. if all the canon NRC students are also around in this, then i'm sure he and the shroud brothers could find something to talk about given nico's interest in mythomagic.

nico's development in the later books is also heavily influenced by will, so if we had will in this AU then that might change things a bit. i'm very indecisive just in general and also i don't get will nearly as well as a friend of mine does, so it's possible that he could get accepted into RSA which would separate him from nico, or that he could get into NRC but definitely in a different dorm because he doesn't fit ignihyde at all (will have to ask my friend her opinion on this, actually). in the latter case i think nico would especially look forward to the classes they share, but would vent to will about still not fitting in and would wish that he could transfer dorms to be with him. but crowley would discourage him from trying to transfer because of how difficult the process is and will would encourage him to put himself out there more and try harder to make friends, which could lead to his conversation with yuu and his transfer to ramshackle (it being a different case since it's not, like, an official dorm anymore and nico's magic is well-suited to crowley's own needs). leo or other characters being there at the same time might change things slightly too.

but yeah, either way, i think he'd love chilling with the ghosts in ramshackle and with his canon development where he's starting to become more open and less brooding, he could end up really enjoying being at NRC even if he still struggles sometimes! if we were talking about a version of nico who was still 100% convinced that he could never fit in with anyone and that he needed to be alone all the time, i guess he'd probably just stay in ignihyde and cause yuu a lot of confusion by summoning ghosts from ramshackle into his room to give himself someone to talk to. if he was from the PJO universe and got isekai'd into the twst world then i don't think nico would adjust well to that at all. i have a feeling that as he is right now in canon, he'd consider going to school in some other world a complete waste of time in the first place and would tear twisted wonderland apart trying to find a way home if that happened.

i am going to stop here though because i rambled about this way more than i did before though LOL. i hope this is the kind of answer you were looking for and that it doesn't all seem like. completely OOC and that what i'm trying to say makes sense. i love sharing my opinions but i'm also not very confident in them sometimes. i could try to come up with something for leo if you wanted, but i'd also love to know if you have any thoughts on how he'd be as an NRC student!

Oh, I have a few questions. Ok here we go.

1. So is Rhea Goddess of the Sea and Multiverse?

2. What are the nicknames that Loki and Apollo call Rhea with? Does she have any nicknames for them?

3. Is Annabeth going to have a love interest in TTSITSOL? If she doesn’t,then will she have one in the Disney world? Is she going to have a love interest at all?

And the last question,at least for today.

4. The children of the Olympians are asking Rhea advice about parental issues, what would Rhea tell about each Olympian regarding the issue?

1- something like that but not really.

2- Loki sometimes calls her Riri to annoy her, Apollo calls her my sunshine, darling, light of my life or anything that has to do with his domain, while Rhea calls them darling or any nickname depend on the situation and her mood.

3- No she won't have a love interest, I always thought that if Percy wasn't a love interest then Annabeth would join the Hunters and if she doesn't join the Hunters then she will stay single.

4- She will tell them to focus on themselves following by a list of reasons and examples picked from myths as to WHY you shouldn't care about your godly parent, most of them include the crimes followed by "You want this guy to pay attention to you ?"
