You feel your phone vibrate in your hand for what feels like the thousandth time as you look down at it once more. For the past few days you have been getting many calls and texts of someone threatening you and claiming to know where you live from an unknown number. You are certain it is your ex-girlfriend Amy as she is the only person that comes to mind and you are scared for what she may do. You don’t want to think about what will happen if she finds you. Amy was very controlling and it felt like you were being held hostage in your own relationship. She had a lot of ex’s who rejected her and left her for other people, and once your relationship became serious, she became very crazy.
You tried to get out of the relationship many times but she didn’t let you, and it was a hard time in your life but you eventually were able to get out of the relationship and get a restraining order put out on her after lots of proof and many court visits. You met Natasha a few months later when she came into your job, the two of you instantly clicking right away. Something about you drew her in and she knew that you were going to become someone important in her life. Being in a relationship with Natasha wasn’t easy at the beginning but she was patient and took her time with you. She knew about your relationship with your ex-girlfriend, the love and comfort she provided finally showed you what a healthy relationship was supposed to be like.
You’ve blocked the numbers each and every time it calls or texts you, but a new one would call or text you again and again, not knowing what else to do to solve it.
Unknown Number: Y/n, pick up the fucking phone right now
Unknown Number: I know where you live, don’t test me
Unknown Number: When I come to your apartment, you’re going to regret not answering me
You shudder as you think of what can happen and you don’t know what else to do. You’ve been staying at the compound with Natasha for the past few days instead of at your apartment like the two of you usually do because you’re scared she will suddenly show up and something bad will happen. You don’t want to worry her about it which is why you haven’t told her what’s going on. Thankfully she hasn’t questioned anything but you’re feeling hopeless as the texts and calls are becoming more frequent. You worry she may possibly find out that you are at the compound and do something crazy to hurt Natasha. It wouldn’t be the first time that she has stalked you.
“Y/n baby, are you okay?” Natasha’s sweet voice next to you brings you out of your thoughts, the worried look on her face making you feel guilty. You smile at her as reassuringly as you can, nodding as you look around the room. You, Natasha, Wanda, Yelena and Kate were all watching a movie and they too had worried looks on their faces... How long have you been zoned out for?
“You alright Sestra?” you hear Yelena ask you from across the room. Yelena has become a sister figure to you, her protectiveness over you just as strong as her sisters when the two of you started dating. She knows about your crazy ex as well and even asked you if you wanted her to take care of her for you. You may just take her up on that offer soon if you can’t solve it alone.
“I’m good, sorry guys. Let’s keep watching the movie”
As you continue to watch what’s playing on the TV, your phone goes off once more, and you fear that Natasha will see or hear it, the thought making you slightly uneasy. As a few minutes go by, you hear Natasha speak up again.
“Sweetheart? Who keeps calling you?” you bite the inside of your cheek as you look at her, you should’ve known that you couldn’t hide anything from her as she is a trained spy. You smile at her as you put your phone in your pocket.
“It’a my brother, he keeps calling and texting. I’m so sorry I totally forgot I was supposed to go help him today at his apartment. Is it alright if I leave and come by later?” she looks at you but doesn’t press any further.
“That’s alright love, there’s no need to apologize or ask. Would you like me to drive you there?” you smile at her kindness and deposit a sweet kiss on her lips, your hand on her cheek as you look at her. You love this woman so much.
“I’ll be okay baby, stay here with the girls and keep them company, I know you’ve been wanting to spend some time with them this week”
She looks at you hesitantly as if thinking about it, but you smile at her once more as you kiss her again. “You know he’s not far from here baby, and I could use the walk” she smiles softly at you as she nods. She doesn’t want you to feel like she is controlling you so she refrains from offering once again.
“Okay Detka, please text me when you get there okay?” you kiss her one last time and smile against her lips.
“I will, I promise, i’ll see you later. Bye guys” you hear everyone say their goodbyes as you make your way towards the elevator and out of the compound. You take a deep breath as the air from outside hits your face, trying to regulate your breathing. You hate lying to Natasha but it’s better you figure this out on your own as it is not Natasha’s problem to deal with. You walk towards your apartment and think of what you can do.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A few days have passed and you have been keeping your distance from Natasha and the others. You haven’t been talking to her much and you always come up with an excuse when she asks to see you. You feel guilty but you know it’s for the best. You know she is an Avenger and can protect herself but you wouldn’t be able to forgive yourself if something bad happened to her. You never know what may happen and what lengths your ex-girlfriend would go through. It’s late at night as you’re walking back to your apartment as you have just finished work, but you have the feeling someone is watching and following you. You look around you as you keep walking but you don’t see anyone suspicious. As you reach the front of your apartment, you feel someone grabbing onto you and sticking something in your neck, instantly making you pass out.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your eyes flutter open as you try to look around you, your vision blurry seeing nothing but an empty room, a painful ache passing through your body. You try to move but your movement is restricted, your arms and legs tied up as you sit in an uncomfortable chair. You try to get free but whatever is tied around you is tight, and your stomach drops as you fear what will happen to you. Before you can think or do anything else, the door opens and your ex-girlfriend Amy appears in front of you.
“Hey baby, did you miss me?” your eyes are wide as you stare at her, your heart beating out of your chest as she moves towards you. “You’ve been ignoring my texts and calls, don’t you miss me? I miss you so much”
“Fuck you! Why can’t you just leave me alone? What’s wrong with you, you psycho!” she slaps you hard, the force making your head turn to the side.
“Shut the fuck up! You belong to me, not that stupid Avenger” she slaps you again, the impact even harder then the last, making you taste blood in your mouth.
“You’re fucking crazy. Where the fuck did you take me?” the smirk on her face is sickening as she looks down at you.
“You’re home where you belong, your little girlfriend won’t find you here. You’re mine again” you shiver as you look at her, your heart beating rapidly. Is this where you die?
“You won’t get away with this. They will find me and they will kill you on the spot. You’ve ruined my life enough, just let me go” her hand grabs a fistful of your hair as she smiles at you.
“Why can’t you see that I love you! Why can’t you just stay with me and not be a stupid whore and leave me like everyone else hmm?”
“I will never love you or be with you ever again, I hate you!” she slaps you again as she growls out in frustration, walking away and out of the room. You finally let the tears fall, letting your head fall back as you close your eyes. You can’t help but to blame yourself; if you had just told Natasha what was going on maybe you wouldn’t be here in this position right now.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Days go by as you are stuck in this room alone. She has come inside the room trying to get you to talk to her and willingly be with her again but you don’t budge. She doesn’t feed you or give you water and you would rather keep it that way then be with her again. You know someone will save you. Let’s hope she doesn’t get tired of waiting anytime soon.
“This is ridiculous! It’s been three days, we’re losing time, what if she’s-“
“We’re going to find her Natasha I promise. We’re so close. You can’t think that way it won’t do you any good. Y/n is strong and her ex will pay.” Natasha, Wanda, Yelena and Kate were all trying to find you. They enlisted Friday in trying to figure out your whereabouts, but so far they’ve had no luck. Natasha sits down and covers her face with her hands. At first she thought you were being distant because of her, but after the second day of you brushing her off, she knew something wasn’t right. You have never made excuses not to see her, nothing bad had happened between the two of you, and her gut was telling her that something was seriously wrong. When you stopped responding to her texts and calls, she went to your apartment and didn’t see you there. She called your work and you weren’t there either, and when she called your brother to ask if he’s seen you and if you showed up at his apartment that one day when you left the compound and he said no, she instantly knew what was going on.
At first she didn’t know about the texts or calls that you were receiving, but after a few days your behavior changed and she noticed them on your phone. She didn’t want to think anything negative, she knew you would never cheat on her; the negative feeling in her gut made it’s appearance once more. She didn’t know it was something as serious as this. She blames herself for not taking action sooner, but there was no apparent threat with your ex, and you had always claimed that she was gone from your life for good, that nobody had to worry. She wishes she could see into the future to know that this was going to happen.
“I think we found her! I was finally able to get a location. There’s an abandoned house up on the mountains, I think she might be there. She’s four hours out” Everyone rushes to grab their things and make their way onto the quinjet.
“Let’s go get our girl”
Your body aches more and more each day that you are sitting in this chair, stuck in the same position. You are starting to feel hopeless, wondering if Natasha will be able to find you. You become nauseous as you begin to think of the worst. What if you die here?
“Please, just let me go.” You tense up as she puts a knife to your neck, applying pressure.
“Shut up. I’m getting tired of you at this point. I should just kill you right now and make you regret ever leaving me.” You jump out of your skin as the door gets kicked open roughly, Natasha appearing in your line of sight in her Black Widow suit with your other friends behind her. She throws her Widow Bites at your ex-girlfriend, instantly knocking her to the floor, the knife dropping. You sigh out in relief, your shoulders dropping as you close your eyes.
“Detka? I’m here now, I’m so sorry, please look at me” she unties your hands and legs with her knife, grabbing your face as she looks at you, frowning at your injuries.
“God i’m so sorry I couldn’t find you sooner. We tried so hard. I’m so sorry baby” she lets her tears fall as she rests her forehead against yours. She doesn’t know what she would do with herself if she didn’t find you here, or worse, if she didn’t find you alive. You are her whole entire world and to think she almost lost you makes her absolutely sick to her stomach. You wrap your arms around her and hold her tight, needing her touch more than anything at this very moment to comfort you, tears falling down your face as well. You feel her arms wrap around you as she kisses your head and breathes you in. She Is not letting you out of her sight ever again; she just almost lost you today. You slowly get up and give your body a moment to properly adjust after being tied up for so long, holding onto Natasha for support.
“Y/n?” Yelena’s worried voice makes you smile at her, instantly wrapping your arms around her as you hug her close.
“i’m okay, thank you guys, you saved my life” Kate and Wanda come to hug you as well, sighing in relief knowing you’re okay.
“I’m going to take Y/n home, Yelena, you guys know what to do” Yelena nods her head at her sister, the two of you making your way towards the quinjet as she takes you both back home. She will send another one back for the others. She puts it on autopilot and sits down, pulling you onto her lap as she holds you close.
“i’m so glad you’re okay, I don’t know what I would do if you weren’t there, or if I lost you or-“ you cut her off with a kiss to her lips, instantly calming her down.
“i’m okay baby, thanks to you guys. I was slowly starting to lose hope that you wouldn’t be able to find me, but you did and that’s all that matters now” she presses her lips to yours again, keeping them there so she can feel you.
“Why didn’t you tell me what was going on? We would have taken care of it” the worried look on her face makes you kiss her again, feeling guilty that it came down to this and that you scared her.
“I didn’t want you to worry so I tried handling it by myself. It wasn’t your problem to deal with and at first I didn’t think much of it but then it was too late, I’m sorry Nat” you frown at her as you let your tears fall. You feel her wipe them away as her lips press to your forehead.
“Whatever problems you face are my problems as well. I want you to always come to me and talk to me when something is wrong or if you need help. I love you so much honey” you smile at her and wrap your arms around her neck, nuzzling your face into her neck. You love Natasha more than words can describe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You lay your head on Natasha’s chest as the two of you lay in your shared bed together. You cuddle into her, the feeling of her strong but soft arms around you instantly bringing you immediate comfort. Her arms hold you protectively against her, her hand tracing small comforting patterns on your back underneath your shirt, the feeling of her hand on your exposed skin grounding you.
“I’m not letting you out of my site ever again, just so you know” you smile against her chest as you cuddle into her more. You don’t doubt that for one second.
“I love you Nat” you hear the smile in her voice when she speaks.
“I love you way more sweetheart. I’ll never let anything happen to you ever again.”

Take a Chance
Natasha Romanoff x Female Reader
When you go the Barton house, you meet a newly welcomed to the family Natasha.
Note: So, this would take place right after Natasha moved to America and joined shield. I think this version of Nat we briefly saw in BW deserves to be explored more so here’s my little shot at it. Enjoy!
Natasha Romanoff Masterlist 1, Natasha Romanoff Masterlist 2, Main Masterlist
It has been almost two months since Clint and Laura last asked you to babysit their children. You are worried you have done something wrong, so you decide to go to their house after work and see the family.
As you pull into the driveway, you notice that Lila is outside playing on the porch. You park and wave to her excitedly.
“Hi Lila!” You greet her as you walk up the front steps.
“Hi!” The little girl says. She’s drawing while sitting in the rocking chair. You get closer to see her work when suddenly a weight crashes into you and you’re on the ground.
“Who are you? What do you want with us?” A woman’s voice says from above you. She straddles you and holds you down with her legs.
“I’m y/n. Who are you?” You ask her. Wrong question. She presses her thigh further into your neck and you feel the air leaving you.
And then suddenly a release in pressure comes, and the woman is pulled off of you.
You look up to see Clint holding her back and talking to her.
“It’s okay. She’s harmless. She’s just the babysitter,” Clint explains.
He then moves past the redhead and offers you a hand to help you off the ground.
“Are you alright?” He asks.
“Yeah, pretty sure I just lost a year of my life from the stress of that but I’m fine,” you joke.
“Why don’t you come inside? Laura made some fresh apple pie today that will make you feel better,” Clint says.
You follow him inside and the mystery woman follows both of you. She keeps close like she is worried to let you out of her sight.
“So, how’s everyone doing? I was worried since I haven’t heard from you in a while,” you say to Clint as you enter the kitchen.
“Yeah, about that. We have a new addition to the family,” he gestures to the woman. “And we were trying to acclimate her the best possible without many outside factors.”
“Got it,” you say.
You knew Clint worked for a government agency and this is probably someone he’s been put in charge of teaching the ropes.
“I’m y/n, by the way. I know I said that out there but in here you may hear me better than when your thighs were pressing on my airway,” you say to the woman, reaching your hand out.
“I’m Natasha,” is all she offers along with her own hand to shake yours.
“Natasha here is Lila’s new best friend,” Clint says. You gasp exaggeratedly.
“Wow, I’ve lost my title,” you say.
The woman, Natasha, lets out a soft laugh and you notice how beautiful she is. There’s a certain beauty in the way she carries herself and you are absolutely captivated.
“You two would actually really benefit from knowing each other. Me and Laura can only teach her so much about American culture,” Clint says.
"Coop and Lila know more than you two do,” Natasha says with a smirk.
“Yeah yeah, you’re so funny Nat,” Clint replies sarcastically but he smiles.
You spend the rest of the evening with the Barton family and Natasha. She opens up just slightly and you honestly think you could fall in love with her if you let yourself.
She’s beautiful, there’s no denying that, and she’s also so kind.
It’s the next week when you see Natasha again. Clint finally asked you to babysit again and you are at their door a few days later.
“Hey y/n,” Natasha answers door.
“What, no tackling me this time?” You joke as you walk inside.
“Nah, that was only the one time. For now,” she says and you laugh. “Coop is upstairs playing video games and Lila is actually still napping.”
“Oh, okay. So you’re staying or?”
“Yeah. I’ve got nowhere to be,” Natasha says simply.
“Cool,” you reply a little awkwardly.
You weren’t aware that Natasha would be here, but you guess two kids would be a lot to put on a newly acclimated woman.
You follow Nat into the living room and sit a comfortable distance from her on the couch.
“I have no idea what you want to watch, so you might want to take this remote,” Natasha says. She hands it to you and her hand brushes against yours.
“Oh, thanks Nat,” you say. You swear you see her blush a little at the way you shortened her name. “Do you like sitcoms?”
“Maybe? I’m not sure,” she says. “I haven’t watched them in a long time.”
“Okay. Friends it is then. If you hate it, I’ll change it,” you say with a smile.
Natasha laughs a few times during the first episode and you take that as a win. Lila wakes up and she snuggles between you and Natasha on the couch.
“Can we play tea party?” Lila asks after she’s fully awake.
“Yeah baby, I’ll play with you,” you tell her.
“And you too Auntie Nat?” She asks Nat.
“Of course, Lila,” she says sweetly.
“Yay!” Lila cheers. She lifts her arms up to be carried off the couch and you and Nat both reach for her.
“Oh, I’m sorry. You go ahead, Nat,” you tell the woman.
She nods and takes Lila in her arms. It makes your heart flutter seeing the way the little girl clings to Natasha and they have a little conversation that you can’t quite hear. When Lila gives you the first tea, she looks to Nat who gives her a thumbs up.
“Are you two keeping secrets?” You ask them.
“Never!” Lila answers quickly.
“What she said,” Nat says.
You grin at her and she smirks back. The time passes by quickly between you playing with the kids and getting to know Natasha. She doesn’t tell you much. Only that she’s from Russia and that Clint saved her life.
You didn’t need to know much else to know that you were falling for her. How could you not with her beauty, her kind heart, and her even more attractive personality.
“We’re home!” Laura’s voice rings out as the door opens.
The kids rush to hug their parents and you follow Natasha towards the family.
“Thank you both for babysitting tonight,” Laura says.
“No problem. We had fun, right Nat?”
“Right,” she agrees.
“I better get on my way back home. I’ll see you all soon,” you say as you gather your things.
“Thanks y/n,” Clint says as you walk by him.
You’re outside on the porch when a voice stops you.
“Hey, can I talk to you for a second?” Natasha asks. She seems kind of shy as she says it. You walk back towards her and stand under the porch light.
“What’s up Nat?”
“I just wanted to say thank you,” she says. You look at her confusedly and she continues. “For being nice to me and understanding that I might not know everything but you haven’t treated me any differently for it. I appreciate that.”
“Oh yeah, of course. I think you’re great, Natasha. You’re super cool, and clearly smart, and absolutely beautiful,” you say. That last compliment wasn’t planned but it’s worth it for the way she blushes and smiles at you.
“Thank you. You’re beautiful too, y/n,” she says. Your stomach does a backflip.
“Thanks,” you say.
Natasha steps closer to you and you’re a little shocked at her movement. What she does next surprises you more than anything.
She leans forward and tentatively presses her lips against yours. It’s barely even a kiss until you press your lips to hers in return and she gasps against you before deepening the kiss.
The perfect dance her lips does against yours makes the both of you weak in the knees. When you pull away, Natasha rests her forehead against yours. You brush her nose with yours and she smiles.
“Would you like to go on a date with me?” You ask her.
“Yes,” she replies easily.
Natasha is so glad she is able to make her own decisions now and you’re so happy that she chose to take a chance on you. You’ll treat her right and love her like she truly deserves.

Night Drive (18+)
Summary: You get a new car
AN: 18+ only y'all--we're gonna pretend that there are plenty of other self-driving cars that aren't t*sla...I hope this makes up for me not putting out another part of AYTO yet! All mistakes are mine.
Pairings: Natasha Romanoff x Reader
Warnings: cursing; reader has a dick; dom//powerbottom!Natasha; sub//top!reader
----------------
You sink lower into your seat as you rev the engine of your new car with the widest grin Natasha can't see. Natasha looks hardly impressed from your view beyond the barely-legal tint of the windows.
You decide to roll down your window and plead your case.
"Hey baby."
Natasha rolls her eyes. You already screw yourself coming right out the gate with pleasantries, Natasha knows you're desperate to get on her good side when you do that.
"So...what do you think?" You vaguely gesture to the rest of the car and Natasha scoffs.
"I think you were a finance bro in your past life," she crosses her arms, and you relent, "probably," you sing as you round the car to lean against the hood. The gun metal gray still holds a shine in the moonlight. This wasn't an impulse purchase, you had been talking about buying a new car for a while now. You would go on little rants about the specs of certain cars whenever you saw them on the road or on TV. It's not like you were waiting when you had the money, being an avenger was a pretty-paying gig. You were just waiting for the right one, at the right time--a method you mastered by the time Natasha came around.
"Wanna go for a joyride?" You offer, already leaning off the hood and spinning the key in your hand.
Natasha wants to keep giving you a hard time, but you look so damn good in front of your sleek, expensive, new backdrop. Your muscles bulge under your fitted black shirt, and you have the cockiest smile on your face, like you knew you were winning this race.
"And if we get pulled over?"
"With SHIELD plates? I'm not worried about it," it almost comes out like it's scripted. You're not above rehearsing a speech for Natasha if it means getting your way. You're pulling out all the stops, but Natasha wants to remind you who's really behind the wheel. Her eyes rake over you slowly, intensely--the same way fresh lava travels over earth. You're standing at attention and you don't even know it.
"You gonna open the door for me or just stand there like you forgot your manners?" Natasha watches in amusement as you fumble for the door handle. She slides onto the cool leather while you make your way into the driver's seat yet again. You wait patiently for her to get comfortable and buckle in.
It's only when you rev the engine with a wink that Natasha muses this might have been a bad idea on her part. You punch the gas pedal and she's quickly acquainted with the back of the cherry red bucket seat.
----------------
Natasha decides that she doesn't like going fast unless the fate of the world depends on it. She also decides this is the one exception when she sees the freeway system of veins in your forearms as you grip the steering wheel. Natasha feels like she's flying when she watches your triceps flex while you turn the wheel or do something as mundane as turning on her seat heater.
Natasha slides her seatbelt off in a way that doesn't set off the sensor--she didn't want this moment to be ruined by a lecture on why it's important to buckle-up. You're too distracted by the beat of your night drive playlist to notice her crawling closer to you.
You feel her lips on the shell of your ear, "eyes on the road, got it?"
"Yes ma'am," you try to say cooly, you don't dare chance a look over at her. She hums with satisfaction and rewards you with a kiss on the skin behind your ear and a nibble on your lobe that tightens the coil in your belly.
Natasha sucks and licks at your neck while her deft fingers work to undo your belt and zipper. Her hand explores the border of your waistband before dipping under and finding what it was looking for. You let out a whisper of a gasp when Natasha admires your full length and girth. Your grip on the wheel tightens, Natasha chuckles when she hears the leather under your fingers groan.
Natasha begins to stroke you slowly, agonizingly so, but that doesn't keep your hips from bucking up into her hand.
"Tash," that only elicits a rumble against your neck. Natasha's other hand curls around your neck and gives a light squeeze that makes your vision blur for a second. Her stroking picks up speed, you have to work impossibly hard to keep your foot off the brakes.
"Natasha, please."
"I like the way you say please, baby," she mumbles with your skin between her teeth.
"What did I tell you?"
"Eyes on the road, ma'am," you say with a quickness that makes the corner of her lips curl up in satisfaction.
"So smart," she praises before you helplessly watch her head lower until you feel her lips greet your cock with a sloppy kiss. You throw your head back against your seat with a pathetic moan.
"So desperate," Natasha teases, and your mind feels like it's going a million miles an hour--multitasking is usually your strong suit, but it seems damn near impossible now.
Natasha's tongue travels the length of you, your hips feebly buck into her mouth when she finally grants you entrance. You slow your speed to safely take a hand off the wheel and hold her hair back. She thanks you with a gentle squeeze on your thigh and the prettiest sounds you could have only ever imagined.
Your playlist is already repeating itself by the time Natasha comes up for air. She can barely hear it over your panting anyway. You're rock hard and right where she wants you.
"The car can drive itself, you know," you breathe out. Natasha's brow quirks with curiosity.
"Show me," it's a gentle command, but your fingers rush to press the right sequence of buttons. You ease the seat back with haste, and Natasha just lets you sit there for a few beats to take you in and also leave you in suspense.
Your fingers dumbly flex against your legs while you wait for further instruction from Natasha. She doesn't even try to hide her smirk when your eyes begin to dart between the road and her.
"You're not gonna let us crash right, dove?" Natasha's finger traces a feather-light trail down your arm. It's a genuine question, even though she knows you probably did some sizable research on the safety features of the car before you even entertained buying it.
"No ma'am, you're precious cargo," you give an easy smile and that's Natasha's cue to move and straddle your lap. You help her with your hands on her hips, your hands quickly retreating to your sides when she's situated over you.
Natasha swears your eyes are sparkling as you watch her slide her panties to the side with one hand and take your length in the other.
"Eyes on me, baby, just for a second," she coos and you obey. Natasha can't help but admire the striations of your muscles working overtime to restrain yourself. You've always been intoxicatingly obedient, even when it's downright painful. Your eyes are locked on Natasha's, you have to bite your lip to stifle a moan when she finally eases down onto your cock. She's already working her hips in a way that has your entire body buzzing. You can count on one hand how many cars have passed you by this whole time, just like you expected.
Your fingers dig into the leather of your seat, your eyes periodically glancing at the road to make sure it hasn't veered off course for whatever reason. Natasha steals a few sloppy kisses when she leans into you to get a better angle and bounce on your cock at a speed that should be illegal.
"Tash, I'm gonna-," you choke out between labored breaths.
"What was that baby?" she leans back and oh god, you wish you had the kind of self-control your car has right now. You feel like you're going to pass out watching Natasha ride your cock, you're too blissed out to realize that she's spelling out 'm-i-n-e-' with her hips.
"I'm gonna come so fast."
"I know baby."
That seals your fate. Your arm reaches back to brace yourself against the seat. With a long and drawn-out "fuck," Natasha feels you push deeper into her, filling her up with every last drop of you. You both fall into a sweaty, moaning heap against the seat. Your body trembling with aftershocks as Natasha scratches at the skin on the back of your neck. You only get to drink this feeling in for a few seconds until you see red and blue flashing lights in your rearview mirror.
"Shit," you sit up and Natasha freezes when she sees what you see. You feverishly check your speedometer, you're not speeding. You start rifling through your brain to see if you forgot to do something, insurance? Plates? Registration?
Your questions are answered when you watch the cop car speed off into the night. Natasha lets out a heavy sigh of relief that makes your dick twitch, reminding you both that you're still inside of her.
"Told you," you try not to sound so exasperated. Natasha just rolls her eyes before kissing your temple. Night drives might just become a regular thing now.

Tumblr media
Of course, the day you met the prettiest girl possibly in the whole entire world. You were also in a shootout with a spy.
Okay, yes, the spy and the girl are one in the same, but you get my point.
"How long ago was the guy here?"
"I-uh.." Since Nat's hands and sweet voice were all over and around your body, you truly lost any concept of time.
Nat ignored your non-answer as she looks out the window where her sniper is positioned before turning to you with a worried look.
"Y/N GET DOWN!"
You barely had time to move your body before the windows next to Nat exploded, sending you, her, and pieces of glass flying everywhere. Her body lands on its back in front of yours. New forming cuts already on her face. "Nat?!" You asked, sounding muffled due to the ringing in your ears.
Shit, a lot of you will hurt tomorrow if you get through this.
"Ow.." Nat blinks, her eyes opening as she wipes the blood from her forehead. Before she looks you over, making sure you're not harmed. "I gotta say that looks a lot cooler in the movies." You state.
"Yeah, I know." As if Natasha watches anything but classic James Bond. "Okay, Y/N, listen to me." She gets up on her knees in front of you but keeps you down low to the floor. Her hand on your back provides you with reassurance. Plus, it feels nice.
Should I tell her that my throat needs to be reassured?
"They blew out the windows because they saw me. If I know them.. and I do. They're about to send in smoke bombs. Try and flush us out. Whatever you do, regulate your breathing. Okay. In fact..." Nat keeps the two of you low but begins to move you both back to the kitchen. "Here." She grabs her bag off the counter and throws it down. Nat reaches into a side pocket and pulls out a hard mask.
"Come here." Nat motions you to come closer, and like a good girl, you do. "You're going to wear this." Nat quickly wraps the mask around your face. "As you can tell, your vision will be slightly askew, but your breathing will be fine as long as you..." Nat trails as she raises her eyebrow.
Fuck she's so fucking calm right now, and it looks so fucking hot on her- oh, she's staring at me. Oh, uhhh-
"Keep my breathing regulated?" You answer, which earns a proud smile from Nat. "Yep. Good job." I am a good girl. You think with a smile.
"Wait!" You grab onto Nat's arm. She stops rummaging through the bag to look at you. "What about you? Do you have a mask?" Nat shakes her head at you. "I only have one. But don't worry." She smiles. "I've dealt with far worse."
Nat pulls out a pistol you hadn't seen before. She looks up and onto the dining room table. You follow her eyesight. The small silver discs. "I can grab them."
"No, wait!"
You go to reach forward but get yanked back by Nat. A sniper shot rings out, the bullet going through the wood right where your hand would've been. "You okay?" She asks with a soft gaze, looking into your mask. You nod, even though you're growing more scared by the minute. "Shit, they have more than I thought." Nat rubs her hand up and down your back while she thinks. You believe this action to be absent-minded. But Natasha knows you are scared. The last thing she needs is for you to be scared and get hurt or, worse, killed.
So she's thinking of you first.
"Why haven't they fired the gas yet?" You ask. Nat looks at you before looking at the window. "They're playing a game. Shit.." Nat bites her lip and thinks.
You see her biting her lip, and you start thinking, too.
But you both aren't thinking remotely the same things.
"They're trying to draw you out. They know you're here with me." Nat looks at you. "Give me your hand." You hold it out for her as she takes your wrist and gently places the pistol she had behind her back in your hand.
"This is a Beretta 92. It's a very accurate close-range weapon. Okay? Keep it low. Away from yourself and me."
"What, Nat, I can't-"
"It holds 15 rounds. When the magazine empties, this thing will slide lock back like this." She shows you. Keeping her eyes on you instead of the gun. You look at her as she repeats the action.
"Natalie, I don't think I can do this."
"Natasha." She replies.
"What?" You tilt your head, confused. "Natalie is a cover. Natasha is my real name."
Unbeknownst to you is that Natasha still wasn't even her legal name.
You don't miss a beat before replying with: "You look prettier as a Natasha anyways."
"Really flirting? Now?" You shrug. "I've been flirting all along. It's about time you caught on." Even though you most certainly HAVE NOT been flirting this whole time. "So, is that what you call it?"
Natasha wins this battle.
"Look at the gun, Y/N." She coos you. You move your eyes to the gun as Nat holds your hand with hers. Showing you the first few steps again.
"Okay, now to reload-"
Nat gets interrupted as three canisters shoot through the broken windows. The second they land, they start leaking smoke. "Don't be scared." You go to argue that you're not, but with a smile, Nat raises her eyebrows, earning a scoff from you. Sassy even in a life-or-death situation.
"Okay, to reload. Push this down." She begins to talk faster as you both can sense that instruction time will be over soon. So she pushes your hand. "The empty mag will fall out, and then you shove the other one in. Like replacing batteries in a flashlight. Okay?" She asks as the smoke creeps into the kitchen. You nod, feeling the weight of the gun in your hand when Nat removes hers.
"Nat, I don't think I can do this. Shooting people." You clarify. Nat turns and looks into your eyes as the sound of men marching up your apartment building becomes louder and louder. "Okay, Y/N, listen to me." She grabs the sides of your mask so you can look into her emerald eyes.
Okay, how is she hotter now that she's covered in bruises and blood? Will I look hotter if I'm covered in bruises and blood?
Should I ask?
"Y/N, listen to me! These men are coming in here to kill you and me. I will do everything in my power to protect you, but in the event that I'm not able to, I'm trusting you to be able to defend yourself. Okay? Don't use it unless you have to." You nod with a dumb grin on your face that, thankfully, Natasha could not see, or else she would think you really were hopeless. "Most importantly, don't move unless I tell you to. Please don't do anything besides shoot this gun unless I tell you to. I say duck, what do you do?"
"Duck... Goose." You joke, but before Natasha could scold you, the front door to the apartment flies off its hinges. However, thankfully, the smoke has now possessed the room, covering for you and Natasha...
...Natasha?
You look to your right to see no one next to you.
Great, even in a shootout, you can't keep a girl.
You sigh and stay still as heavy footsteps are heard entering the apartment. You do your best to count, and you assume five men are now here to kill you. You stay still on the floor in the corner of the kitchen when you hear one of the men speak up. "Come on out with your friend, little widow! We promise not to hurt her."
You rolled your eyes through the mask, and that's when you heard two shots being fired off before a loud thud hit the floor across the apartment.
"How did she do that?!" You hear a heavily accented man yell before a multitude of bullets are fired from an automatic weapon.
However, instead of Natasha getting hit, she jumps up off the coffee table in the middle of the living room and knees one of the men in the nose. Making him stagger back in pain, leaving him little time to think as she attaches a widow bite disc to the man, shocking him to the floor but not before grabbing his pistol and aiming it at the other man in the room, sending one shot to his thigh and the other to his left shoulder before she empties the magazine and throws the pistol at the guy's face knocking him out.
Two more men to go.
Lucky for Natasha, the shooting and her elegant, quick movements confused the last two dummies. Plus, with their own smoke, it makes it impossible to see someone as highly trained as The Black Widow.
You nearly jump when Natasha slides on the kitchen floor before you. You go to speak, but Natasha signals with her hands to zip it.
You nod and try to think about how good she looks, kicking these guy's ass.
Natasha puts a hand in front of your face, making you focus up. You okay? She asks with her hands. You nod, making the redhead spy smile.
A genuine smile, too.
And even though she said it earlier, that's when you truly realize that Natasha is protecting you. Whether it's her job or not, you like to believe it's because she cares for you. Even if just a little bit.
Your beliefs would be correct.
However, before you could ask Natasha if she was doing okay or what her favorite color is, you watch her take off running. The smoke in the room shoots out and away from Natasha. You watch in amazement as Natasha jumps and wraps her legs around a man's head before spinning the top half of her body around, sending the man head first into the floor. His nose breaking on impact. Her landing on her feet.
Is it weird that you want that done to you?
"Your friends are taken care of. So I suggest you come out and let me kick your ass too." Natasha speaks aloud with her back facing you to the last man standing as the smoke in the room clears.
You stand up from the ground and take a step towards Nat. The gun still tightly gripped in your hand. Your eyes remain on Natasha as she starts to walk back towards you; however, before she turns around, your body gets hit with a force from the side. Launching your head into the cabinets to your left.
"Ow fucker!" You yell!
The crashing sound and your curse alerting Natasha. The larger man places his hand on your mask and pushes your head into the cabinet again, this time making it bleed as his other hand reaches for your gun. "Give up!" He yells before removing his hand from your mask to punch you in the side of your body. You groan and stumble.
He reels back to hit you again, but instead, Natasha rips the gun from your hand with efficiency and pistol whips the man in the face, sending him flying back. The man yells in pain as he readies himself to fight, but Natasha is fast. She runs and kicks the guy in his ankle, making him fall to his knee. She smirks as he yells out in pain before she double kicks him in the throat, making him fall as he begins to choke.
Before anger entirely overtakes Natasha, she hears you crash to the floor behind her. When Natasha turns around, she sees blood on the sides of the counter.
"Y/N!" Natasha runs to your side and drops the gun next to the two of you. Instantly, she's ripping the gas mask off of you and turning your head. "Let me see." She gingerly pulls your chin, making you look away so she can examine the extent of your head injury. "It doesn't look deep. But we need to stop the bleeding."
Natasha quickly looks around the damaged kitchen before finding a forgotten rag. She places it on your head and hates how you wince in pain.
"Keep your hand here." Natasha takes your left hand and places it over the rag over the cut. "Be honest.." You start as Natasha looks over the rest of you.
"Do I look cool or like dogshit?"
Natasha's lips crack into a smile at your joke. "You look so cool," Natasha says, whether it was true or not. "You took some hits, too. Impressive." Natasha says with a smile. "Yeah, well, someone didn't yell Goose." You playfully hit Natasha's leg with your foot.
"Next time." She says.
"Oh! Next time?" You say and continue. "Planning on our next date being another shootout?" You raise an eyebrow but wince when you move your head a bit too much at the moment, saving Natasha from seeing her blush.
"Who said anything about a date?" Natasha quips. You knew it was coming, but you still had a smile. "You're right. I guess shootouts aren't a good date idea. I'll pick something better for, let's say... Friday?" You laughed at your own joke per usual, but ended up coughing in pain. Not per usual.
Natasha's hands immediately went to the hem of your shirt before you reacted. "Hey. What did I say? We haven't had our date yet." Natasha thought it was cute but still rolled her eyes. "I need to check to ensure you're not bleeding internally."
"Can you really tell?" You questioned. "No. But I know a thing or two more than you, so let me look." She had you there. So, with your permission, Natasha slowly lifted your shirt but made a face when she saw your red skin already bruising and enlarging. "It's not awful, but it's going to hurt a lot before it gets better."
Natasha places her hand over the area and begins to rub. "Does it hurt here?" She lays a small out of pressure, forcing you to nod in pain. "Not at all." You whine and clench your jaw. "Okay... I'm going to call this in. Get us evac'd."
Your eyes widened not because of Natasha's words but because of the guy behind Natasha. Yes, the one she kicked in the throat started to get up. "Natasha..." You said, making her look into your eyes. "What's wrong?"
She noticed how you looked.
Natasha turned behind her to see the man perched up on his good knee. Gun in hand. She immediately puts her body directly in front of yours.
"Step aside, widow. Let me kill this one without trouble."
"Not going to let that happen." Natasha reached behind her and expertly grabbed the gun she gave you earlier from the floor and pulled it in front of her, not wasting another breath as she fired the weapon twice—one into the man's chest and the other directly into the man's head.
From her crouched position, she got up with precision and made it to the man on the floor. She kicked the smoking gun out of his hand and made sure he was... Wait- smoking gun?
Natasha looked from the gun to you.
Fear ran through her body as she saw your figure slumped over on the floor in a bigger pool of your own blood.
Natasha would've ran to your body if this would've been her first time in a position like this, but it wasn't. She had saved countless people before, and she was not about to lose you!
So Natasha ran to her bag and rifled through a side pocket until she found her phone and a needle of Tetrodotoxin B. A drug developed by Bruce Banner with the idea of slowing his heart rate to one beat per minute. Natasha didn't know if it worked on Bruce or not, but she knew SHEILD had it for some reason.
Right now, that reason was going to be you.
As Natasha flicked the end of the needle and pulled your arm out in front of you, she called Clint on speaker phone. "Sorry if this hurts," Natasha said to your now unconscious body. Her eyes watering.
"Hello?"
"Go secure!" Natasha yelled as she sat your body up and ripped off the right half of your shirt to examine your bullet wound.
"Secure," Clint replied. "Shit!" Natasha replied, confusing the bow and arrow man. "Natasha?"
Nat looked at your head wound and the rest of your body. The Banner drug was going to help keep you alive, but you were still losing blood.
Natasha hated everything about this moment.
Ups and downs. The day Natasha met someone who didn't know who she was. The day she could actually see herself being around someone was also the day they were bleeding out in front of her.
"I need evac! Safehouse A is blown. Got caught up in a shoot out, and Y/N is hit."
She got up and went to look for whatever medical supplies she had in addition to any extra clothes to get you changed and wrapped your wound.
"Y/N?" Clint questioned. "Like the Golden retriever? The neighbor from across the hall?"
"Yep! She's not going to make it unless you send someone right now, Clint."Natasha didn't want to believe her words. Barton, for one thing, couldn't.
"Are you serious?"
"Serious as a God falling from the sky."
"Go to safe house B. Evac is on the way."
With that, the line clicked, and the call ended. Natasha did her best to dress your injuries before the only thing she was doing was watching how slow your breathing had become...
_
You woke up to bright lights above you and a horrible feeling in your nose... and head.... and shoulder... and side. Wow!
Wow.
Okay, so you actually had this horrible feeling called pain all over you.
You tried lifting your head to look around, but it felt like a ton of bricks was pushing on your skull. But you pushed through and found a short brown-haired man sitting in a chair by the only door in or out. "Who the fuck was he?" You thought and tried to speak, but your throat was too scratchy to say anything, making you cough.
The man in the chair looked up at the noise and noticed you.
He sent a quick message on his phone before closing it. He got up from his lazy position, running to your bedside table, and filled up a tiny paper cup full of water. "Here." He said as he held it in front of your lips.
You don't know if he didn't trust you or if your hands/arms were too weak. You didn't want to find out, so you took a sip from the cup and let the cold water run down your burning throat. "Thank you."
"Welcome." Silence. "Natasha should be down here soon. I let her know you woke up." You tilted your head and looked over the man, slightly nodding. "So you're Y/N?" He already knew, but Clint was happy he could talk to someone new for a change. Even if he did talk like an uncle, you don't see but once every couple of years.
"Where am I?" You ignored the man walking back to the chair near the door and asked.
"You're safe if that's your concern." He spoke, but you just sighed. "Anytime a woman is alone in a room with a man and he says something like that. It doesn't make her feel safe."
Clint bit his lip as he listened to your words before nodding along. "Can't argue with that." Clint got up again from the chair and made his way to you. Making you jump and look him over. "I'm Clint. I'm the one Natasha spoke to on the phone." You remembered the phone call before the windows blew out, but not much after getting your head thrown into a kitchen cabinet.
"Hi, Clint. Are you going to tell me where I am?" You asked in a tone more annoyed off than friendly. Clint smiled. "I see why Natasha likes you."
Now that got you interested!
But before you or Uncle Clint could say anything else, the door opened, and in ran Natasha. Her cuts are all covered by bandages, and her face clean from a shower. "How long has she been up?" Natasha passed her friend, stopping to stand next to you.
"I let you know the second she did." Clint smiled at you and Natasha. "I'll leave you to it." Natasha thanked Clint, and the two of you watched him leave the room.
"You probably feel like shit huh?" Natasha questioned, but as she reached to move a hair from your face, you backed away. Natasha didn't understand why. "Y/N?" She asked.
"Who are you?" You asked, making Natasha's jaw drop before she quickly recovered. Helen didn't mention any memory loss. Natasha looked away, a little hurt that this might be the case, but when she looked back, she saw you smiling. Teeth sinking into your bottom lip. Holding in a laugh.
Natasha figured it out.
"Fuck you!"
"I got you!" You laughed and cheered before wincing in pain and coughing. Making Natasha smile at the instant karma while getting you a cup of water. "Serves you right."
She held the cup up to your pink lips and watched a little spill out the corners of your mouth. She watched a droplet slide down your throat and disappear into your gown.
Your voice bringing Natasha back. "I just lived through many movie cliches. I HAD to do this one." You said, making Natasha smile and nod to you before she sat at the edge in the middle of the bed.
Natasha wanted to reach for your hand as silence enveloped the two of you. She wanted to tell you how close you were to dying or how scared she was. But Natasha didn't reach for your hand.
Instead, you reached for hers.
"You know if a hot spy is going to come into my hospital room in an unknown location, the least she could do is hold my hand."
That made Natasha Romanoff blush.
"Hot spy, huh?" Natasha teased, but you just nodded, feeling confident. "Look in a mirror, Natasha." Natasha laughed. "Sometimes you really just don't stop flirting." That made you smile. Natasha didn't say it was lousy flirting. "Just wait till we start dating."
"Oh?" Natasha raised her eyebrow but hit back a smile. "Is that what we're going to do?"
"Yeah, remember, shootouts don't count. So Friday, you and I are going out." Natasha shook her head but didn't disagree. "You don't even know what day it is." That was true. "Friday...?" You looked at Natasha with hope, but she shook her head again. "Nope. Besides. I like it went my dates aren't still in a hospital bed." You sighed but internally screamed at Natasha, flirting back. Natasha watched you before turning away. Her thumb rubbed over yours.
"Hey.." Natasha started making you look at her. "I- I'm sorry for getting you involved in my mess. You-" Natasha stopped and pulled her hand away to rub her face. "You almost died because of me." Natasha felt guilty. She should've kicked you out the second you weren't a threat. Instead, she liked having your company. In the minutes you spent in Natasha's presence, she wanted to keep you around.
"Natasha." You reached out for her hand again and was surprised when she gave it to you. But you still pulled her hand, making her look to you. Her green eyes shining. You nodded for Natasha to scoot closer.
She did.
"Don't blame yourself." Natasha went to open her mouth, but you interrupted her. "There's no doubt I would be dead if you hadn't been there. Besides... I'm the curious one. I knocked on your door. I wanted to get to know you. I stuck around because I wanted to. My body hurts like hell. But I'm alive because of you."
Natasha didn't look entirely convinced, but that would come in time. It was sad to see this badass person beat herself up over something that wasn't your fault or hers. It just happened because of horrible people. "Can you at least do me something?" Natasha tilted her head. "What?"
"Can you at least tell yourself that you saved me?" That sounded like a big ask at the moment but not as big as the next thing. "And! Tell me that you actually enjoy my flirting because it's only going to get worse." That made Natasha throw her head back and laugh, making you smile.
You were so focused on Natasha that you didn't see the room door open.
"Oh wow, never thought I'd see the day. Natasha Romanoff laughing! Time!?!" The man with a striking anchor beard and a Tom Ford suit called out as he walked closer to the bed you laid in.
"Good to see you awake. It's nice to put a name to the face of my almost-dead Budapest employee."
Tony Stark looked you over as sassy as the man is known for before looking at Natasha, who was internally scolding him for mispronouncing Budapesht.
"Quite a catch, that one. So what's the diagnosis?! How long we got?" He picked up your chart and began flipping through paperwork he should not be looking at before Natasha took it. "Tony..." She sounded exhausted already. "What are you doing here?"
"I told you." He said, looking upset that your chart got taken away from him. "I came to see who was moving in."
If Tony Stark. Your boss. Who also happens to have a hobby of flying around in a gold and red suit wasn't shocking enough to you than that last sentence that he said was.
"Moving in?!?" You asked, shocked. Ton- Mr. Stark- no Iron Man..?! What were you supposed to call him?!
Mr. Tony Man looked from you to Natasha before saying: "Looks like you didn't tell the Misses." This made Natasha get up and grab the not-so-tin man by his collar, whispering methods of torture she would use if he didn't leave the two of you alone.
"I expect to see you at work once you make a full recovery!" Tony yelled and pointed at you before the redhead slammed the door in his face.
Natasha composed herself before turning to you, still wearing a shocked face. "Moving in?!?" You asked again. Natasha nodded as she walked to you. "Yes. We-" She sighed. "I thought it would be the safest option for you. Plus, you can recover here. You're back in the States." Natasha's words fell on the quiet side before she sat on the bed.
Closer to you this time. "I can think of a few other reasons.." You look at Natasha and smiled.
"You don't have to. If you want to leave or go back to Budapesht, I understand." Natasha wants you to know that there is no pressure to stay. But you already know this. If you wanted to get up right now and leave, Natasha would probably let you.
"Staying might be nice."
"Yeah?" Natasha looks hopeful. "Yeah." Natasha smiles and reaches her hand to your face. Moving a stray hair back behind your ear. "If you do stay, that means I can tell you the best part."
"Oh yeah? What's that?" You curiously ask as Natasha looks at you like she's got some big secret.
"I'd be your neighbor across the hall."
You were free to leave the hospital bed 4 days later.
The next day you moved in right across from Natasha Romanoff.
A week later you took her on a date.

Avengers 1 gave us the best Baby Cap content!
Look at that adorable lil face, like he was always in a constant state of "🥺".
I'll never forgive the Avengers for being all awkward about his lil "I do! I understood that reference!" moment. They could've been more encouraging or at least acknowledge how hard he was trying to catch up with over 70 years of info that he'd missed! But no, instead J*ss Wh*don had to make him the butt of most of the jokes 😒.
So that's why we got poor lil awkward bastard Steve confused af & a bit embarrassed that no one seemed to be impressed with him understanding the "flying monkeys" reference. I hate them! 😭

thinking about this writing prompt with Nat and Y/N. Where Nat is a pretty high up SHIELD agent as usual, but Fury still won't tell her who she's reporting to, citing it as 'above her clearance'. So she comes back home, to her wife, grumbling about how unfair her 'company bosses' are for not trusting her with 'corporate secrets', while Y/N is giggling to herself as she comforts her poor wife and agrees that her higher ups must be real idiots to not trust her (and maybe one day Nat's 'handler' laughs about how 'we're all idiots here, hm?' to get Natasha to finally realise who her handler is)

Chest of Desires
Natasha x Reader
Summary: The evolution of your relationship with Natasha over the weeks and months.
Warnings: 18+, lactation kink, smut Word Count: 2193
Movie night
It was movie night at the Avengers compound. You usually enjoyed movie night but you had an exhausting mission today and weren't feeling up for it. But Natasha wanted you to stay and she was your best friend (and slight crush but you failed to realize at the time). You sat down on the couch next to Nat.
The movie vote ruled for a comedy movie which you were glad about because you couldn't deal with any more riling up today. You failed to get the name of the movie and you'd never seen it before. It was alright so far but you were focusing all your energy on staying awake. About halfway, through the movie, you fell asleep and your head hit Natasha's shoulder. She looked at you and chuckled lightly, wrapping her arm around you causing your head to fall to her chest. You nuzzled in and hummed in contentment.
At the end of the movie, you woke up due to the movement of the group. You figured out where you were and you felt your face heat up in embarrassment. You quickly detached yourself from Natasha and ran off to your room, to Natasha's disappointment.
Jog
You often went on morning jogs with Natasha. You hated jogging with a passion but did it as it was a requirement of the job. You enjoyed seeing the town relatively empty in the morning.
The two of you returned to the compound and sat on the couch in one of the main living rooms.
"Feel how fast my heart is racing!" Nat told you. You blushed at the idea and shook your head slightly. She then took your hand and placed it on her chest herself. Your eyes went from where your hand was now placed to her eyes. You could've sworn you saw affection in her eyes. She must've seen a turmoil of emotions going on: shock, embarrassment, and affection.
You pulled your hand away from her chest where she was still holding it and you ran off to your room again.
Sleepless night
One night you were having a lot of trouble trying to fall asleep. You tried counting sheep, listening to calming music and white noise nothing seemed to work.
You started to think about Natasha. You tried not to as it felt strange and wrong to you but you eventually gave in, no one was going to know anyway it was just in your head.
You pictured yourself cuddling with Natasha with your head on her chest, listening to her heartbeat. After that, you were out.
The next morning you knew it was no longer a small crush…
Run and hide
After everything that happened in the past weeks, you tried to stay away from your best friend, while Natasha tried to be close to you.
It was hard for you to try and stay away from her but you didn't want her to know and you didn't want to get rejected either.
What you didn't know is that Natasha wanted you as well. To hold you close, cuddle you and call you hers. She wished you'd stop hiding.
"Mandatory" meeting
Tony had called for the two of you for a so-called mandatory meeting. The announcement called for the whole team but everyone was in on it besides the two of you. You found it strange you were the first one to the meeting, you dreaded them. Once Natasha came in, the door automatically locked and Tony left through a back door which then locked too.
You had been set up. You were angry but also fearful because of who you'd been set up with. You avoided Nat's gaze as you felt very embarrassed. You curled yourself up on the couch. Nat sat on the opposite side of the couch. Inching closer slowly so you didn't notice it at first. Then she was right next to you with her arm around you. Your face heated up again and you took a look at her. She then wrapped you in a tight hug, which you quickly relaxed into. While still in her embrace you whispered out an "I love you" Natasha readjusted and kissed your forehead "I love you too."
Bad Dream
On a stormy night, you went to bed anxious as you often had bad dreams when there were storms. The sound of Thunder was too much for your ears. You got yourself into bed and curled up with a pillow to your chest. You failed to notice that you didn't fully close your door. You eventually fell into a restless sleep.
Natasha came by your room later to check on you as it was common knowledge you didn't like storms. She saw you in a ball with your pillow and the sheets all over the place, and her heart sank. She came in quietly, sorted out the sheets, and joined you in bed, pulling you close to her in an attempt to calm you. Having her there with you calmed you quickly and you nuzzled into her.
You awoke to find yourself wrapped in Nat. You were shocked and you began to blush due to the thoughts in your head. You attempted to get up and out of bed but detaching Natasha was a challenge in itself. Even in her half-sleep state, she did not plan on releasing you. Eventually, you gave up trying to free yourself, letting out a huff and settling back in bed. Nat lightly chuckled. "Not funny!" You said somewhat angrily while she pulled you closer.
Close
The two of you had become very close. Every night you liked to fall asleep on Natasha's chest, listening to her heartbeat as you went to sleep.
You noticed Natasha would generally be closer to you when you were around the compound, you didn't think much of it, just thinking it was sweet, and of course, you enjoyed spending time with her.
The others found this new behavior of hers quite strange, the infamous widow wasn’t one known for forming attachments with other people.
Suit
Recently, when getting dressed for missions, you noticed Natasha had a more difficult time zipping up her suit near her chest. You figured it was just a hormone thing.
While on the quinjet to one of your missions you once again caught Nat having a difficult time zipping up her suit. You were changing into your own and didn’t want to be caught looking, you spared some side glances at her. She finished changing into her suit before you did, and once you did, you looked up from the bench and saw her still standing there, she was looking at you with an eyebrow raised. You swallowed nervously, feeling heat creep up into your face, and awkwardly rubbed the back of your neck.
You quietly mumbled, “You might want to ask Tony to make a new suit for you.”
After the mission, the two of you boarded the quinjet. Just as you got in the door, Natasha pushed you up against the wall, leaned fully into you, and kissed you hard. Having her body that close to you made every part of you heat up. Wrapping your arms around her waist, you kissed her back passionately. The two of you broke for air, she pushed her chest further into you causing you to blush and let an accidental moan slip. Natasha smirked at your reaction. You could’ve sworn this girl lives to make you blush. Looking at you with blown pupils, Natasha slowly backed off which caused you to release a breath that you hadn’t realized you were holding. You slumped to the floor and sat there with racing thoughts until you arrived back at the compound.
After exiting the quinjet, you walked a few steps towards the compound thinking about how you were one of the few people that had made out with the Black Widow.
Soon enough, Natasha caught up to you and put her arm around your shoulders, which shocked you out of your thoughts and brought you back. She leaned over and whispered to you, “want to continue in my room?” You simply said “okay,” not sure what was to come of this but you were curious.
She guided you to her room and quickly closed the door. She turned around to face you and she looked like she was about to hunt you down. She started walking towards you and you walked back, soon enough you hit the end of the bed, causing you to unintentionally sit on her bed. You swallowed nervously, not sure of what was going to happen. She pushed you back onto her bed by your shoulders and straddled your hips. You blushed and looked up at her, she leaned down to you and kissed you. You ran your hands through her red hair as she kissed you. She then sat back up and started to unzip her suit, and you watched in awe. To you, she was utterly perfect. She unzipped her suit to just below her chest and she let out a moan at the release of her breasts from the tight constraints of her suit. You wet your now dry lips with your tongue and slowly looked up at her. The two of you met eyes and you felt tingles rush through your body. You stared into her lust-filled eyes and thought ‘she really is so beautiful.’ She gently took your hand and placed it on her breast. Her skin was so soft, you caressed her and left a kiss on her breast. She smiled softly at you and instructed you to sit up against the headboard of the bed. You did so and she moved to continue her previous position. You really enjoyed having her weight on you, it comforted and grounded you. She removed her suit from her arms and shoulders, exposing more of herself to you. She moved slightly closer to you, you pulled her into a tight hug, wrapping your arms around her waist, and started kissing her neck on her pulse point, she leaned into you and you removed one of your arms from the hug and gently massaged her breast. She moaned in delight. You smiled into her neck before pulling away to kiss her passionately. The two of you broke for air, Natasha lifted one of her breasts and looked at you, you looked at her breast and back at her in a silent ask for permission. She nodded and you sucked her nipple into your mouth. Natasha held your head in place. You swirled your tongue around her nipple and started sucking and tugging on it. You noticed wetness coming from Nat which made you aware of your own, being so focused on Natasha, you didn’t notice. You continued to suck on her nipple and then there was milk starting to fill your mouth, you tried to let go of her nipple and ask her what was going on but she held you there and simply said “it’s for you” which, embarrassingly, made you wetter. You continued to drink from her, and she moaned at the release of her milk. She cupped and massaged your privates causing you to let a gasp escape, she smirked at your reaction and wetness. You switched over to the other breast and suckled from that one, while Nat snuck her hand down into your underwear to continue her massage. The both of you moaned, you because Nat had now directly massaged your privates and Nat due to the release of milk and the vibrations in her breast from your moan. You quickly came. You released Nat’s breast and quickly pinned her (which shocked Natasha) and gave her a passionate and milky kiss. You had released her hands and she placed them on your tummy, slowly and gently rubbing it. “You did such a good job baby, drinking all my milk,” she husked. You were surprised and blushed at both the praise and the contact. You grabbed the zipper of her suit and looked at her, silently asking permission, she nodded. You slowly unzipped her suit the rest of the way and left a few kisses down her body. You looked at her glistening folds and began slowly working on her clit, she let out a low hum at the first contact. You circled her clit at a medium pace causing her to buck her hips into you, you put two fingers into her and increased your pace on her clit. After a few more circles and thrusts of your fingers, Natasha let out a somewhat high-pitched moan and came on your fingers. You licked her juices from your fingers and just after you finished, she pulled you back down onto her and she kissed you deeply.
The two of you got up to get cleaned up and changed into pajamas. Getting back into bed, Natasha pulled you in close and you cuddled into her. “I love you, y/n,” she said as she ran her fingers through your hair. “I love you too, Natasha,” you said and placed a gentle kiss on her lips.

Protective Bucky
First fic in years! Let's see if I can keep this up.
Plot: Bucky x Reader. Young woman was captured by Hydra for the use of her fire powers. Bucky finds her beaten to a pulp at a raided Hydra base. Based on that scene from FaTWS when Bucky spots Karli in the truck and gets all soft, but this time the girl is actually in trouble.
TWs: Violence, injuries in this chapter. There will be more warnings in the next chapters, so keep an eye on them.
Chapter 1/?
Tumblr media
Steve, Nat, Sam, and Bucky took a mission to track a handful of semitrucks that are believed to lead to a hydra base. The managed to attach trackers to four trucks with Sam’s redwing flying unseen after they found all four leave a warehouse. Back at the tower, they watched as they all split apart and go separate directions, but all of them end up in the middle of nowhere upstate. The team’s satellite doesn’t even have a building registered at the trucks’ location.
The four of them set out to the location in a quinjet, ready for another hydra raid. They arrive in the dark, early morning. Sam stays back to monitor them from above with Friday’s satellite view and give the team some heads-up for any hydra agents. They hesitate to attack at first, but Sam’s voice comes into their earpieces.
“Sure enough,” Sam says from back in the quinjet. “Armed guards around the building with hydra logos on their jackets.”
The rest of the team were hidden in the woods surrounding a large, dark green facility. Hardly any lights break through the darkness. This base definitely tried, and succeeded for a short while, to stay off of shield’s radar. Sam, Steve, and Nat go in for the attacks. After taking down the guards, inside of the base they were not well secured, and it fell quickly. They were not prepared for an attack tonight and it ended as soon as it began. Nat saves intel from the base while they call in more shield agents to arrest the hydra team. At this point, the sun has begun to rise. Steve and Nat are handling arrests and dismantling the base, but Sam finds something for Bucky to handle.
“Bucky, one of those vans isn’t empty.” Sam tells Bucky directly.
“Yeah, Sam. We will clear them out later after they get rid of everyone.” Bucky responds, walking to find where Steve went off to.
“No,” Sam says quietly. “There’s a girl inside that last one in the back.”
Bucky pauses mid-step. The last one wasn’t one they had been tracking. Who knows where it came from, or what was planned for it. “A girl?” Bucky asks back.
“I think so. Friday’s satellite isn’t getting a clear image through the thick metal truck.”
“I’ll keep you posted.” Bucky walks over to the back of the truck and breaks the lock off with his metal arm. Carefully, he opens the door, just in case it’s a trap. It’s dark in the truck, but the light from the rising sun slowly fills it. The truck is mostly filled with boxes, stuff the team will have to go through later. First, Bucky has another issue. In the right side, surely enough, is a girl tucked into the last bit of shadows. Torn, dirty clothes and covered in dried blood. Her dark, messy hair is draped over her face and she's leaning on one bent knee. She’s probably in her early 20s, but looks so small in this situation.
“Woah. Hey,” Bucky said softly to avoid startling her. “Are you hurt?”
The girl looks up and bucky doesn’t read any fear on her face. There is, however, marks and bruises all over. “Back off! Haven’t you had enough?” She yells, more tired than afraid.
“Hey now, I’m not gonna hurt you,” Bucky says, opening the door as far as it’ll go. “Did Hydra do this to you?”
The girl makes a look of surprise in her eyes. “Bucky Barnes?”
“That’s me, is that okay?”
“Holy shit,” she says with a cough. “You gotta get me out of here”
“Are you hurt?’ Bucky asks, hoping into the truck and crouching beside her.
“They beat the shit out of me.” She said shakily. Untucking her knee from her chest. Her pants are torn and stained, one shoe is missing, and her shirt is dirty and covered in blood, and she is decorated in black and blue. “I think my ankle is snapped. They got sick of my bullshit I guess.”
“We’ll get you out of here and safe,” Bucky quickly calls Steve and Nat for backup. “What did you do to piss them off?”
“I escaped.” She tries to lean back but winces and holds her wrist.
Bucky sat down and helped her lean onto the wall of the truck. “Escaped?”
“Yeah,” she says. “The took me when I was really young, when they found out about me. I never bought any of their shit. For years, I hoped the avengers would save me from them, but they kept me in their most secret bases to avoid just that. I finally managed to run away during a mission 6 months ago, but yesterday they caught up with me. They want me alive, guess ‘m valuable, but needed to ‘teach me a lesson’ about who’s in charge.” She continues, while tracing the bruises on her arm with her fingertips, not making eye contact.
“What do you mean by ‘they found out’ about you?” Bucky says.
“Promise not to get scared if I promise I’m on your side?” She says while sticking a pinky out.
“I promise. You can’t scare me.” Bucky accepts the pinky promise.
After letting go, she raises her hand, palm up, and a small flame lights in the middle. As quickly as it begins, she closes her palm, and it goes out.
“Fire?” Bucky says, a little surprised.
“Yeah. Pretty weak right now, all things considered. But hydra finds it useful for. You know.”
“Yep, I do unfortunately. I’ll be here if you need someone who understands.” Bucky sighs, and sits next to her.
A few more minutes pass before Steve and Nat get there.
“Oh shit.” Steve says, looking at Nat. Natasha is trying to hide it, but the look on her face is horror at the thought of what happened. Bucky goes to help the girl up, but she can hardly handle the weight. Bucky carries her to the jet. By the time they get inside, she's barely conscious.

The Best Medicine
Natasha Romanoff x Female Reader
Natasha comes home from a mission to find you sick with a cold and your daughter worried about you.
Note: This is based on this request. I loved writing this one and I’m always open to requests involving this family I’ve created! This one is cute, enjoy!
Natasha Romanoff Masterlist, Main Masterlist
“I’m home!” Natasha announces as she enters your house for the first time in two weeks. When she doesn’t hear a response, Nat looks at her phone to see it’s only 8pm.
She walks to your bedroom to see you lying there asleep with the covers up to your neck and a half-asleep Ali next to you.
Natasha steps further into the room and Ali stirs awake. She sits up and rubs her eyes.
“Hey, sweetheart,” Nat greets her daughter quietly, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Hi Mama,” she replies. Ali reaches her arms out and Natasha easily picks her up.
Natasha catches a glimpse of the cold medicine by your bed along with boxes of tissues. She frowns at the idea of you being sick when she’s not here.
Nat carries her out of the room and into the living area of the house.
“Let’s go get you tucked in, baby,” Natasha says.
“I want to sleep with Mommy,” Ali says. Nat brushes the wild hairs back from Ali’s forehead.
“Have you been sleeping with her while I was gone?” Nat asks.
“She’s sick, so I protected her,” Ali says. She doesn’t understand the importance of what she just said, but the statement makes Natasha want to cry.
“Oh, you’re so sweet, Ali,” she says. Ali snuggles closer in her arms and Nat drops a kiss to her head. “Thank you for protecting Mommy for me.”
Ali hums against her, fighting off sleepiness. Natasha always was able to get her to sleep by holding her close. She carries her daughter to her room and tucks her in.
When she returns to the bedroom, she crawls into bed and you wake up to the feeling of her warmth against you.
“Oh, hey babe,” you say. Your voice is muffled from your sickness.
“Hey detka. You feeling okay? Ali told me you were sick,” Natasha says. She caresses your cheek with one hand and feels your forehead with the back of the other.
“Yeah, I’m on the mend. Ali wouldn’t leave my side and every time I sneezed or was sniffling she handed me a tissue,” you tell Nat. She laughs and tears up at the same time.
“I wish I’d known you were sick. I would’ve come home earlier,” she says.
“I wouldn’t worry you like that, Natasha. There’s nothing you could’ve done about it.”
“I could’ve been here to cuddle with my girls,” Nat says with a frown.
“It’s okay, my love. You’re here now.”
“I’m here now,” Nat confirms. You smile at each other and she starts to lean for a kiss before you stop her with a gentle hand on her chest.
“I’m sick, baby,” you say with a giggle.
“Hm, okay I’ll put that on hold. But you owe me a kiss later, deal?”
“Deal,” you easily agree.
Natasha pulls you into her arms and you snuggle up against her. Maybe it’s the medicine kicking in or maybe it’s just having your wife back home safely, but you’re starting to feel better already.

Breath.
Just breathe.
In and out, like you always do.
You can do this. Just hold your ground. Don’t move from in front of Natasha. Keep yourself between the gun and her.
Your father won’t shoot you, he would never, so the best way to protect your girlfriend is to make sure you're in the way of him getting a clean shot at her. If there's even the slightest chance the cullet could hit you on its way to Natasha you know your father won't fire.
Oh god. How did you get here? Five minutes ago you were in bed, in Natasha’s arms, planning on going for a swim to relax you. You were happy, so happy to be with your love after not seeing her for a week.
A week you spent trying to look after your father since he decided he would not eat or sleep until he “finished his work on an important case.” He didn’t tell you then but you knew he was talking about Natasha. He had that look on his face that seemed reserved for your girlfriend. A look of desperation, he needed to stop the person doing all these “horrific things” to people. He needed to make sure the world was just that little bit safer for his little girl.
While it is sweet of your father to want to protect you, to want to make the streets safer for you, he does not need to protect you from Natasha. He just doesn't realize it. If anything Natasha would be your most fearless protector, along with your father, you just have to make him see that. You have to let him see that, after all the time you spent hiding it from him. Hiding her from him.
“Dad.” You try again. “Please. Put the gun down.”
Silence.
That’s all you get in response to your plea. Dead silence.
Although he says nothing verbally, the expression on his face is a dead give away to what he is thinking, to you at least. His brain is working overtime right now to understand what he is seeing in front of him. Why would you, his daughter, be in the home of the woman he is trying to put behind bars. A woman who, according to him, deserved to spend the rest of her life rotting in the very cell he intends to put her in himself.
“Dad.” You beg, taking a small step forward. “Please.”
You sound scared, he thinks to himself. But why would you be scared? You know that he would never hurt you. Never. He’s here now and he’s going to make sure you get home safely. He won’t let anything bad happen to you.
Looking you in the eye and seeing the pure panic that lay behind them, your father comes to a conclusion. You are afraid, but not of him, you're afraid of Natasha. She must have taken you to get to him. How else would you have ended up in her house?
Giving you a quick once over with his eyes he is relieved to see no obvious injuries. If he had gotten here any later she may have hurt you, the thought sends a wave of rage through him. Now he was not only going to make sure she would rot in a cell, he was going to watch it happen and take pride in it. No one hurt his little girl and got away with it. No one. He doesn’t care who she is or how powerful. She’s made a big mistake bringing you into this.
Squaring his shoulders and locking his jaw your father calls out to you. “It’s okay y/n. I’m here now. Get behind me, I’ll get you out of here safe, I promise.”
Confusion flashes on your face for a second before you realize what he means. He must think you are scared of Natasha, not for her. Of course he does, he has no reason to believe any differently. He must think she kidnapped me, you realize. God this is just going to make things worse.
Raising your hands you take another small step toward the man who raised you. “Dad please. I need you to put your gun down. W- I need to talk to you about something.”
Behind you Natasha remains quiet, not wanting to interfere with whatever you were doing. She knows your father won’t hurt you, though she can’t say he’ll extend the same promise of safety to her. She knows he won’t, he has no reason to believe her to be anything other than what she’d had to pretend to be in front of him, a cold hearted criminal. At this point she doesn’t care though. Seeing you standing there, between her and the barrel of a gun, she finds herself the most scared she’s ever been. As long as you get out of this unharmed, in any way, she doesn’t care what happens to her.
Desperation is clear on your face as you wait for him to lower his gun. If he’d just listen to you and put it down you could explain what is going on and maybe then he could leave, in peace.
Seeing that he is not about to do so you step away from your father, back towards Natasha, shielding her body with yours as best you can. You’d be damned if you let anything happen to her.
Seeing your willingness to be close to Natasha confuses your father. He’s here now he can protect you, he can take you home where you’ll be safe. Why are you not running to him so he can get you out of there? He takes note of your stance then. Why are you standing as though you are trying to protect her?
“Y/n, what are you doing? Come over here. Now, so I can keep you safe.”
“No.” You reply calmly, trying to keep him as calm as possible for as long as possible, until you could find a way out of this.
“No? What do you mean no? Now, y/n. I’m not asking this time. Move.” The frustration and confusion in his voice is evident. There's something else in there too, something he’s clearly trying to hide. He sounds hurt. Hurt that you seem to be protecting this “criminal” from him, someone who has loved and taken care of you your whole life.
“I said no.” You respond, not a hint of uncertainty in your voice. “I’m not moving until you listen to me and put that thing down.”
“Y/n I swear to god if you don’t get over here right now.” Your father responds, frustration building in his voice as he raises it. “Whatever it is you need to talk to me about you can tell me later. Right now you need to stop talking and get out of my way so I can get you out of here and take this criminal to prison.”
“But-”
“NO!” He shouts, making you flinch slightly. “I’ve worked too long and too hard to get here. She needs to be put in a cell y/n don’t you understand that? The world will be much safer without her. Think of all the people who would still be alive right if not for her. I’m going to put her where she belongs, rotting in jail. She’s nothing but a scare left on the earth. Don’t mess this up. Get over here, now, where you're not in my way.”
“Dad…” You try again, voice small as you speak.
“Honestly y/n, as if this isn’t stressful enough for me. Of course you have to go and add to an already draining day by becoming a problem.”
Hurt clouds your eyes at the dismissive and angry way your father speaks to you. He’s never raised his voice at you, not even when you were younger and did something that got you into trouble. You know his sudden cold, hard treatment toward you is purely born out of concern for your safety and his recent lack of sleep but still, it hurts being spoken to that way.
Seeing the way you deflate at your fathers words has Natasha furrowing her brows. He shouldn’t be talking to you this way, you’ve done nothing wrong. She just wants to offer you some comfort right now, as well as needing some herself. She hates to see you shrink in on yourself at the tone your father is taking with you but she also hates the way he speaks about her. The cruel way he describes her is making her self doubt, that she isn’t doing her best, that she isn’t doing the right thing, that you and everyone else around her would be better off without her, grow.
Forgetting herself and her current predicament, Natasha takes a small step forward so that her front is flush with your back and brings her arms up to wrap around you. Moving her head to rest on your shoulder she takes in a deep breath, letting your comforting scent wash over her, as she tries to hold back tears.
Feeling safe in her arms you allow yourself to close your eyes for a moment, trying to gather your thoughts.
With the two of you so wrapped up in each other neither of you see the way your father reacts to the scene before him.
The second Natasha had taken her step toward you he had his gun fixed in place ready to take a shot at her, there was no way he was going to risk letting her hurt you. His worry for you only increased as he watched her bring her arms around you. Thinking it to be a taunt, your father moved to take the safety off the gun, readying himself to take a shot at her.
Seeing the way you sigh in relief in her hold has him pausing, it’s as though being in her arms has momentarily released all the tension from your body as he watches you visibly relax. There is absolutely no way she could have gotten that reaction from you unless you both know and trust her.
Taking the moment of silence to think back on your behavior for the last while certain things catch in his mind. Nights you would come home from a day out with “friends” with the biggest, brightest smile on your face. Mornings after returning home from staying with “friends” when you would almost float around the house, seeming so relaxed and content with life. There were times when you would be upset, be it because of a fight with friends or pressures of college and all you would want is to call your “friend” or go to stay with them, either way you always came back in much higher spirits. Then there were all the times he caught you smiling at your phone like an idiot, texting someone you proclaimed was your friend Mikayla, though he knew better. There were also times when you would come home with flowers, a teddy or some new, but clearly worn, clothes that had a different perfume to yours on them.
All the signs pointed to you seeing someone, someone who made you incredibly happy and he was so proud and excited for you to have found someone who could make you feel that way. He swore to himself that when he met the person who made his daughter happier than he’s ever seen her he would thank them wholeheartedly for taking care of his little girl. He just never thought the person he would be taking to be Natasha.
Still though, your father knows you, he knows he raised you right. There is no way you would be with Natasha unless you saw something in her he cannot yet see. There must be something he is missing here. Seeing the way she holds you so delicately yet protectively only affirms his theory. The woman he thought he knew would never have shown such love and comfort to others.
Realizing that the fear he picked up on from you minutes ago was caused by him and not Natashas and seeing the tear mark on your face from the way he just spoke to you, your father lowers his gun.
“Y/n.” He calls out to you, making both you and Natasha open your eyes to look at him. Natasha’s hold on you tightening as she awaits your fathers next move.
“I’m sorry. I should never have spoken to you that way, I should have never held a gun to you.” Moving his line of sight slightly to your left he locks eyes with Natasha. “Either of you.”
The woman he is seeing before him is nothing like the one who sat before him, countless times, in an interrogation room. While the Natasha he knew before was one built of false confidence and arrogance, the one before him now is the real her. Now he can see the woman behind the cold unfeeling mob boss character she has made for herself. She’s just a person, one who has and continues to take such good care of his daughter. He can see in her eyes how much his words hurt her and he regrets it. He doesn’t yet know what exactly led you both to this situation but he knows he has to take the time to hear you both out before he makes any decisions about what he is going to do next.
Putting the safety back on the gun he puts it into the holster. Gesturing toward the couches to his left he speaks again. “I’m ready to listen. Please, tell me everything. I need to understand.”
Pulling away from each other, you and Natasha share a look of hesitation. Nodding her head Natasha takes your hand and leads you to sit on the sofa next to her, on the one across from your father.
After what was a very odd exchange between Natasha and your father, where she asked him if he would like anything to drink and addressing him as “Sir”, the three of you sat in silence.
Natasha is nervous, you can tell by the way she absentmindedly plays with your fingers on your lap. She wants your dad to like her, she needs to win his approval. She just wants him to like her so she can continue to date his daughter… and some day marry her.
Her nervousness to impress him lingers through your whole explanation to your father as you tell him everything he wants to know. How long you've been together, how you met, who else knows, if you've ever been put in a dangerous situation as a result of your relationship. That last question causes you to laugh as you answer that other than this one time, when your father pointed a gun at you, that Natasha always kept you safe and very rarely involved you in anything to do with business.
Next it was Natasha's turn to speak. He wanted to know of her role in the mobs of New York, to which she answered with complete honesty. She told him of her rules to keep other gangs in line, to keep civilians safe, and how when someone was to cross a line they had to be punished to keep other gangs in line. She told him about her sister and how she ended up taking over for her father to run the family business. She told him anything and everything he wanted to know.
Thinking about it, your father realizes that in all his time working on Natasha’s case he has never once come across any civilians harmed by Natasha or anyone in her gang. Not only that but the people who had fallen victim to Natasha had all be on the police radar for various crimes involving anthing from murder to child trafficking. She was helping keep people safe all along, putting herself in harm's way, and he didn’t even realize it.
As Natasha sits and waits for your fathers verdict on her she begins to bounce her leg. Placing your hand on her leg you try to calm her by rubbing circles on her skin with your thumb.
Picking up on Natasha’s nerves, your father speaks up, his mind still trying to catch up to all the information he’d been given. “It’s nice to finally meet the person who makes my daughter so happy. The real Natasha, if you will. Though I wish it was under better circumstances. I want to thank you for taking such good care of her.”
Your fathers words cause a big smile to form on Natasha’s face as she answers timidly. “Honestly Sir, it’s an honor to love her, she makes me just as happy, if not more. Your daughter is special, you did an amazing job raising her.”
“Thank you, I did my best. She is special isn’t she, always has been. Even when she was very young I knew she would be. She always had some much kindness in her, so much love to give. I’m glad she’s found someone to return the love she gives.”
A look of understanding falls over both their faces then. They could forget whatevers happened in the past, they can get along for your sake. Their mutual love for you can be enough for them to be friendly with each other.
Something flashes on your fathers face then. Realization. He’s just remembered something.
“Dad? What's wrong?” You hesitantly ask, concern clear in your voice. You don’t like the look on his face, he almost looks guilty.
Sighing he looks at Natasha as he speaks. “I should not have come here. I-I wasn’t even supposed to. I don’t have a warrant. My plan was to catch you off guard and take you to the station along with whatever evidence I would have found here to put you away. When asked how I ended up here I was going to say I saw you dragging a girl, maybe ten years younger then you by the hair in here, while she kicked and screamed to get away. I have someone lined up to make a false statement as your victim, their family is in on it, they were going to say she had been missing for five years. I have fake reports on standby at the station as to when she went missing and any other necessary documents to back up their statements. I was going to “rescue” her and take her to the station with us. She was to say you kidnapped her and abused her for years. I have a makeup artist ready to create fake bruises, cuts, hand prints on her, anything and everything to make it seem as though the girl had been all but tortured. All of which she would say were given to her by you. I have friends at the station who I called in a favor for who were to “overlook” the credibility of the marks on her. I had everything lined up to put you away for good. The case would have been airtight and there would have been no way for you to get out of it. You would have been put in a prison with other kidnappers, abusers, murders and sex offenders.” Hanging his head in shame, your father rubs at his forehead, as if thinking to himself, what was I thinking.
Hearing your fathers confession has all the color draining from Natasha’s face. No one would have believed her if she said your father was lying, if she told the truth that he had broken into her home and held her at gunpoint. It would be her word, a known “criminal” in the NYC FBI station against his, one of the top ranking FBI agents of NYC, along with her alleged victim’s statements.
If you weren’t here, if your father got to go through with his plan, she would be locked up for good. She would never be able to see you again, never be able to hold you or hear your voice. She would have been tossed into jail with the type of people who actually committed crimes like the one she would have been charged for and much worse, never again to see the light of day. The thought makes her grip on you tighten visibly, her hands shaking slightly. Fear for what could have happened to her shaking her to her core.
She knew your father disliked her, hell if the roles were reversed she knows damn well she wouldn’t be fond of him either, but to go as far as to break into her home and threaten her? To have someone make a fake statement against her as a kidnapper and abuser? She never thought he would go that far.
What if she had resisted arrest? What if she refused to go with him, threatened to out him as a lier and ruin his reputation? What if he had arrived later while you were asleep or in the pool? Would he have shot her? Would he have killed her in her own home with you meters away?
Feeling the way Natasha’s hand shakes, you bring your own hands up to hold hers trying to ground her. Sparing your father a glance, you look at your father with shock and disappointment on your face. How could he do something like that, to anyone. He must have been desperate to put her away but that doesn’t excuse the terrible thing he was about to do to your girlfriend.
Moving to bring your arms up to wrap around Natasha you pull her into you. Her shoulders begin to shake as her body is overrun with the need to cry. All of this is too much to take in at one go, she just needs to be held by you. Rubbing her back you whisper reassurances, trying to calm her down, repeating over and over again your promise that she is safe. That she won’t be going to prison with all those awful people who would hurt her. That you won’t let anyone take her away from you and her family.
Watching the scene before him brings so much guilt to your fathers chest. How could he be so reckless? He was about to ruin this woman's life. He was about to put her in more danger then, he can now see, she would ever let you get close to. He made a mistake, a huge one. He needs to make it better.
“I’m sorry.” He repeats. “I can fix this, just let me make a few calls to call everything off an-”
“I don’t want to hear it.” You cut him off, still holding Natasha in your arms, though her breathing has evened out now. “Fix this. Now. I don’t care how you do it. I don’t care if this reflects badly on you or if you have to face consequences, you should. You nearly ruined her life, she would have been left defenseless in there. You nearly took her away from me. She could have died in there, do you know how many people she anonymously helped you guys put behind bars? They would have killed her, or worse.” Hearing you reaffirm her fears on her faith if your father had succeeded has Natasha gripping onto you, as if she’s afraid she’ll be ripped from your arms and dragged off to that place.
“I’ll fix this. Right now. I’ll be right back.”
Watching your father walk toward the back door you pray to anyone who will listen that he can undo his mistake.
He’s staying where you can see him and he’s left the door open so you can hear everything he’s saying. He wants to prove you can trust him.
For Natasha’s sake you hope to god you can. For his sake aswll, because if he fails do undo what he’s done. If he actually does put Natassha into that awful place, if he takes her away from you.
You're not sure how far you’ll go to get her back.
