Here's another new character for Machine Grid. His name is Hotori and he's a Rhinoceros Beetle! he's an entertainment robot who entertains people by challenging them to a swordfight.
personality wise, during battle he has a very boastful and ruthless personality, often giving no quarter to his opponents. Further examination reveals that Hotori is an absolute dork, often cracking jokes and laughing at any pun he's told. Even during battles, if le notices that his opponent is far less skilled than him or is a child, he'll often go easy on them. When Hotori isn't sword battling he can be seen happily chatting with people about videogames and music. Hotori is also a hugger.
one of Hotori's features is that when battling with him, if you hit him in the neck, a spring loaded mechanism in his neck makes his head come off. rewarding the opponent with a quick victory. Hotori can also be stunned if hit on the top of his head, giving his opponent a chance to land some easy hits. If an opponent begins joking with Hotori, they can make Hotori forfeit the battle due to making him laugh too much with jokes.
