I don't think Luck has a particular preference. At least, not actively. He has no innate romantic proclivities or reasons for accepting a date or asking one. In general, he tends to prefer people asking him rather than the other way around -- he's not good with reading romantic cues & he's never had a particular drive to see someone beyond the first encounter. Since romance or a relationship aren't his priorities, they just never go beyond flirting for him. So, what tends to happen is someone making that first move rather than Luck. However, after that first asking, Luck is pretty alright with taking the prerogative.

Honestly? No one. Luck doesn't get enough in the way of physical or sexual attraction to warrant naming a specific individual. Enough to actually, truly, want that sort of occurrence. He's very finicky about the sorts of people he'd even let into his house, let alone into his bed. Almost any and all people he'd willingly disclose wanting to seek a casual relationship of the sort with would be with people he's already innately trust and/or likes.

The big ones at the top of my head are : physical affection ( mainly holding the person, sitting with them, holding their hand, etc. ), compliments or praise ( saying things like how important or special they are to him, their utility & their skills, recognizing when they try their utmost even if it's not a strong suit for them ), and taking care of them ( looking out for them in potentially dangerous situations, helping them if they're drunk or sick, laying down with them, providing solutions or guidance, cleaning and/or organizing their belongings ). Luck does a lot, since he's not inclined to be terribly direct when it comes to his affections for people.

At this rate, it would be quicker listing what he’s NOT into. Anything unhygienic is a no go as well as kinks he considers to be ‘creepy’ such as age play. Roman might like being called daddy but his tastes lie firmly in partners around his age or even a little older. His preference for mature lovers stem from his experiences in that inexperienced bedmates tend to be a pain in the ass to handle - somebody who knows what they’re doing and has an idea of what they like will always be picked over a blushing violet since he doesn’t have the time or patience to deal with naivety unless he’s really into them. His love of quality men’s clothes persists to this very day with him having deep pride in his collection of luxury clothing. When it comes to people, he’s had many relationships over the years and grew infatuated with a variety of lovers but his most significant partners were his first and second girlfriend/s. Circe was a top model working for his father’s cosmetics company back when he was still a teenager. She was the first person who accepted him as he was and gave his virginity to her, but she ‘abandoned’ him a few years after the death of his parents when Janus Cosmetics ran into serious financial problems. Roman might not have been nearly so hurt if he hadn’t found she’d already hooked up with another wealthy lover, having moved on to somebody else who could provide the lifestyle she craved. Tiffany, his second girlfriend, was much more genuine in her affection for Roman despite being a drug trafficker. Her untimely demise at the hands of the Joker cut their relationship short however, making it difficult for Roman to open up and become romantically attached to anybody again. He’s grown infatuated with various individuals, usually after a good one night stand but his issues regarding trust and commitment currently prevent him from taking those relationships to the next level.

He is hardcore dominant. Due to past trauma, Roman has trouble dealing with trust and it takes a LOT of effort on his end to willingly cede control over to his partner. Sexually he’s more lenient; he doesn’t care nearly as much whether he’s giving or receiving so long as he’s having a good time but he’ll always strive to be dominant over other men compared to women. It gives him a kick having so much control over somebody who perceives (or is perceived) to be powerful, putting them in their place by showing them he can strip all that power away however he wants, whenever he wants. In a healthy relationship that’s taken time to develop, he’s totally a switch but any relationship can be expected to start with him firmly in control barring significant differences between them (i.e: his lover is metahuman and/or has superpowers since he’s just an ordinary human at the end of the day.)

Has Roman had sex in public? Does his office count? Looking like he does, Roman tends to stand out in a crowd unless it’s from before his mask fused to his face or he’s found a way of concealing his masked features. He wouldn’t mind the thrill of having sex in public, not even caring if he’s got a spectator or two but he’d really rather not deal with members of public calling the GCPD on him and sticking him with charges of public indecency on top of his already lengthy list of crimes. He’ll settle for sex in his office, maybe even hiding a partner under his desk and pretending nothing of the sort is happening while he’s getting some fun from beneath. Paperwork gets boring sometimes.

As long as you’ve got a pretty face but aren’t two-faced, Roman’s willing to roll. He couldn’t care less what race his partner is nor would he care if they have superpowers or not just so long as he’s able to trust them. He can’t settle down with somebody he cannot completely relax around and in his line of work, trust is a very fragile thing to place in another’s hands. He knows he’s a difficult man with a lot of problems so somebody who is understanding of that and is willing to give him his space, yet respect he has feelings and is only human at the end of the day is ideal. Roman’s got a bad temper but he’s got enough self-control not to lash out at his loved ones, something which both Circe and Tiffany understood and therefore didn’t try to ‘change him’ for the better.

Roman can be a demanding man but he can be very giving too. He’ll rarely ever openly admit he loves somebody since words are cheap (plus crime lords have plenty of enemies) but he’ll make an effort to show just how important somebody is to him, typically through spoiling them with expensive gifts and praise. He’ll list off all the things he loves about a person, ranging from how good they look to how talented they are, buying them pretty (or desired) gifts to please them. He has good memory for things people (who are important to him) like, including subtle things they might have only mentioned in conversation once or twice. While he has difficulty showing affection due to how uncaring his parents were, it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care. With somebody that he loves deeply, Roman will actively walk into danger and even take a bullet if he has to. He’ll swear vengeance on anybody whose hurt somebody he’s close to, making it a priority to hurt them right back even if he’s got to spend thousands doing it. This is a man who told the Joker to his face he was going to kill him for what he did to his girlfriend, holding onto a bad grudge until the end of his life.

When queer people on Tumblr feel the need to justify liking “het ships” by pretending that those ships are actually queer. Or claiming that a “het ship” is only good because it’s “like a queer ship.”

I get that a lot of folks say that as a joke or meme or whatever. Of course, everyone’s entitled to their headcanons, and fictional romances involving opposite-sex couples (especially as a subplot) are often poorly developed because of heteronormativity and toxic gender stereotypes. The quote I wanted to do for today couldn’t be done due to a lack of appropriate scenes in the show. While looking for a replacement LGBT+-themed quote for today, I found the “sexualities as doors” memes and got inspired since it seemed like a segment Charlie might do for her radio show. Crystal provided the opportunity for a Frozen feghoot and the rest is history. (Disclaimer: Admin F does not like Frozen.)

Sexuality headcanon time (you’ve already seen some of these kids’)!:

Daring Charming: polyamorous binary alloheteroromantic binary alloheterosexual; highly inflexible (you’re more likely to get killed by a cow than Daring is likely to find a guy he’d enjoy kissing). I view Daring, like most if not all of the main guys in the cast, as straight given that he has few interactions with other guys that are ambiguously platonic (unlike many of the girls, who frequently do have quasi-romantic interactions with each other). However, I also view him and his siblings as polyamorous.

Maddie Hatter: polyamorous allopanromantic allopansexual;  true (equal likelihood of attraction to male-, female- and nonbinary-identifying). I don’t think Maddie really cares about what gender her romantic partner would be; at the very least we know she likes guys per her bio, in my opinion she probably likes girls too given how she interacts with Raven especially (Madven is my favorite Maddie ship, so maybe I’m a little biased towards it), and she probably thinks that all gender identities are equally wondrous, thus Maddie = pan. Although Maddie would probably call herself “pot” because you don’t make tea in pans.

Holly O’Hair: polyamorous allobiromantic demibisexual;  true (equal likelihood of attraction to male- and female-identifying). Holly being demibi just made sense to me for some reason. Maybe it’s because Rapunzel would inherently be more likely to only fall for the prince who rescues her? I dunno, but I liked the idea of Holly being alloromantic and demisexual so that is what she shall be in my AU.

Cedar Wood: aromantic asexual, sex-&-romance-neutral. I know in Darling’s only focal short she got lustful over Daring, but in the books she rejected his advances and doesn’t seem to pursue romance in general. And given that she’s a living puppet she’s not going to be experiencing puberty hormones anyway, so her being aroace just made the most sense to me regarding her orientation.

Not mentioned explicitly, but in the AU I use for the comics Charlie is pan, Briar is bi, Crystal is gay, and Ashlynn is straight. Just in case you were wondering.

[ 📖 ] does your muse keep a diary or journal? what do they, or would they, write in a journal?

Yes and no. Erestor keeps a leatherbound journal on the desk in his office. It is, essentially, the equivalent of a modern bullet-journal; it is a planner with his tasks and appointments for each week and day, and sometimes he makes notes on how something went.

The only thing it would tell you about him is what he is doing and whether it went well.

Erestor is not someone to write his personal thoughts and feelings down. He is often introspective, and will take some time to sit and mentally work through things and process what he's thinking and feeling. But he keeps that to himself and, to some extent, his inner circle of friends.

[ 👻 ] what decisions have your muse made that they regret?

If asked today, Erestor would shrug and say he cannot regret the paths he took because they led him here, to a place where he is happy and content.

If probed deeper, Erestor would say he deeply regrets the Second Kinslaying most of all. The First Kinslaying was a horrific, tragic incident, but he was young and swept along and he believed, at the time, that he was doing the right thing. He regrets it, of course; what Noldo does not? He also regrets leaving his family behind.

At Doriath, however, he ought to have known better. He thinks they all ought to have known better.

He did argue against it, but it was hard to sway the sons of Fëanor when the Silmarils were involved. Ultimately, despite his misgivings, Erestor accompanied his lords out of loyalty. He fought in self-defence, but people still died.

He regrets not being able to sway them, and he regrets going.

[ 🥀 ] what are your muse’s standards for a romantic partner? are they realistic? why do they have these standards?

I knew you would ask this. :P

Erestor says he has high standards, but really it's no different from most other people; he just rarely gets quite that close to people. He must find them attractive, of course, but that does not necessarily mean conventionally attractive; if he likes you, your face is dear to him. He had a lover in Himring who was scarred, but Erestor liked him and found him attractive. (That Elf died in the Nirnaeth.)

He does like sex, so they must be compatible in bed.

The good values and principles likely go without saying.

He likes a good sense of humour; he himself is a fairly serious person by nature, but he values someone who can make him laugh.

Having some interests and inclinations in common would be important, although perhaps with just enough difference to keep things interesting. Erestor and his friend Iorissel once tried romance for a while, but frankly they were far too similar and it did not work.

On that note, his partner must have a strong sense of duty and understand the importance of his responsibilities, and take their own duties seriously; they would need to understand that sometimes his work comes first. At the same time, Erestor would not want to always put his work first; if he loves you he should prioritise you, and similarly he would want to be prioritised. This is a hard balance to strike, and he wonders if it is realistic.

Erestor's mind is always whirring, always thinking of what to do next and what might come and how to prepare, even when relaxing. He wants someone who is easy to be with, who can make him relax so much that his mind quietens. If he has already found this quality in his friendship with a certain Captain, he does not say.

[ 🏭 ] is your muse happy with their job or career path? why or why not?

Of course!

Erestor may sometimes act a little put-upon, and he takes so much work upon himself that sometimes he can be a little harried. But he would not do that if he did not want to; if he did not, ultimately, derive satisfaction from it.

Erestor was a hard worker in Lindon, and he respected Gil-galad. But he truly loves Imladris. He helped Elrond build it. He feels a certain sense of stewardship and responsibility towards it. It is his home, and he does what he does to keep it running as smoothly as possible so that all its denizens can be happy and peaceful, sheltered and well-fed.

He helped build Himring too, but those were different, stressful times, and he did not truly enjoy the work he did then. (Additionally, despite being Seneschal of Himring, he still had to do what amounted to military service. He was good at it, but it is not his chosen profession.)

In between being an administrator and counsellor, Erestor is a scholar of lore. He occasionally teaches some of the students (as somewhat of a guest lecturer), and he has contributed to the library. This straddles the line between hobby and career path, admittedly.

[ 🏛 ] does your muse have any strange interests? do they keep these interests to themselves, or are they comfortable sharing them with others?

Not particularly strange. Erestor is a curious person and enjoys learning about the world. He likes learning about other peoples and cultures. He has a passing interest in natural history, or the study of the world around them, though his true passions are history and literature. He has written a few historical analyses and treatises, and sometimes teaches. He is happy to share all these interests.

He does take a special interest in Númenor, because of Elros. Most people assume he is just doing his job, but it is very personal.

Kon likes to show up at Wayne Enterprises when Damian is working in really flashy ways. He's fly in, or float in the lobby while he's waiting.

He always does this under the guise of bringing Damian lunch. Which he does, he brings a lunch. And then he'll very obnoxiously or overly sweetly kiss Damian's cheek or forehead before floating away, just to see Damian blush, which he does every time.

If Tim is also working that day, Kon will punch his shoulder REAL hard and say 'sup, nerd.' before leaving.

Kon will then turn his phone off the rest of the afternoon, because he knows both his boyfriend and best friend are going to be texting up a storm, scolding him for his antics.

Kon also uses it as a type of foreplay. He likes to get Damian annoyed and testy and have it be a little rough in the bedroom later.
