Can't Help Falling in Love.
Tumblr media
Info: This is my first timothée x oc fic.
Angelisse Emmanuelle Evans is a girl who seems to have everything—a booming career with a promotion on the way, a family that adores her, and a long-time boyfriend who just proposed marriage. Everything was perfect until she discovered that she's actually already married—with a legitimate marriage certificate. The husband turns out to be Timothée Chalamet, Hollywood's Golden Boy hearthrob. Angelisse seeks Timothée out to convince him to help her get an annulment.
Tumblr media
Under the neon lights,
I think we might get married in Vegas.
February 13th, 2022
In the vibrant and pulsating lights of the night, Angelisse Evans stood at their table while her friends danced the night away. Tonight was her best friend's bachelorette party.
“Come on, Angel, loosen up!” The bride-to-be, Kate, pushed a shot of vodka in front of her.
Angelisse rolled her eyes at her friend. She had never been the life of the party, to say the least. She was the type to hang back and watch—maybe dance a bit, but never really let loose.
“And get a terrible hangover the next day? No thanks.” she said, pushing the shot glass away.
Kate wasn't taking no for an answer. She grabbed Angelisse's hand, led her to the dance floor, and urged her to dance. Angelisse hesitated, but then something took over, and she started to move to the beat. She was surprised to find herself enjoying it.
The beat of the music was like electricity, vibrating through her body. The air was charged with the energy of the crowd of people dancing and mingling. The music was like a drug, and she couldn't get enough of it. Angelisse lost herself in the moment, feeling the energy flow through her body as she danced the night away.
As the night wore on, Angelisse found herself increasingly in the element. She and her friends had spent hours dancing and drinking. Angelisse let out a laugh and threw her head back, her long, dark hair cascading down her back. She knew she looked good, and she made sure to show it off, her hands tracing down her body and her hips swaying to the beat.
"You're glowing, Angel,” Kate said, sidling up next to her best friend. “Having a good time?” She cocked an eyebrow, but there was a playful spark in her eyes.
Angelisse laughed, feeling a rush of warmth inside. “I am,” she replied, raising her glass to her lips. “This night is just too good to miss.” She winked at Kate, her head feeling a little fuzzy from the alcohol. For a moment, it was as if she felt the whole world was hers.
“You know, you're a lot of fun when you loosen up,” Kate teased, nudging her playfully. “Maybe you just need someone to bring out the best in you.”
Tumblr media
Angelisse stumbled into the bathroom, feeling dizzy and lightheaded. She went to a stall, trying to regain her balance as she went. She clumsily knocked into a man who was peeing in a urinal, and she stumbled, her face heating up and her eyes darting between the man and the stalls.
The man, with messy curly hair and green eyes, turned to Angelisse as she stumbled past him. He eyed her up and down, taking in her drunken state and disheveled appearance. “This is for men only,” he slurred out, gesturing to the urinal he was standing next to. “You're not supposed to be here.”
Angelisse looked at him, her eyes widening as they settled on his unbuttoned pants. She was drunk, but she couldn't help but take note of his boldness.
“The line in the female bathrooms—it's too long,” she slurred. “I really need to pee.”
The brunette stumbled into the bathroom, locking the door behind her. “Thank God.” she moaned out, the sounds of the toilet flushing in the background.
“Ouch, fuck, my feet,” she complained as soon as she stumbled out, stomping her heels on the tiled floor. “These heels are killing me,” she muttered as she tried to take off her heels.
“Miss, relax, okay? Let me do it.” The man with messy curls offered to help her take off her heels. “Miss, steady, steady, alright?” He knelt down and slowly removed her shoes. Angelisse moaned at the feeling, “Fuck, right there.” Angelisse moaned loudly, “Oh god, yes!”
After several minutes of painful struggling, Angelisse's heels were finally off and her feet were free. She let out a loud groan of relief.
“Oh, that's better,” she said, wiggling her toes and flexing her ankles. She looked down at the man who had helped her, and her breath caught in her throat. He was stunning, with soft brown messy curls, a jawline sharp enough to cut a finger, and piercing green eyes. And he had helped her with her heels! Angelisse felt her cheeks burn, her eyes darting down towards her feet, then back up to his face. “Thank you.”
“My pleasure.” the man smirked, watching her blush.
Angelisse felt a rush of adrenaline as she realized that this man was flirting with her.
“I'm glad that I could help.” he continued, his eyes glimmering in the low light.
Angelisse felt herself melt in his gaze. She opened her mouth to reply, but before she could say anything, he spoke.
“What's your name, miss?”
Angelisse felt the world stop. This man, this beautiful, perfect man, was asking her name! She felt like she was in a dream, and she didn't want to wake up.
“I'm Angelisse,” she said, her eyes shining and her heart fluttering. “And you are?”
“I'm Timothée.” He flashed a smile at her.
“Timothée,” Angelisse repeated, letting his name roll off her tongue. “It's nice to meet you.”
She felt her cheeks heat up, the alcohol making her more confident and brazen than usual. She twirled a strand of her long brown hair between her fingers, her hazel eyes glimmering as she looked up at him.
“So, Timothée,” she purred, a playful smile on her face. “What brings you here tonight?”
Timothée could feel his heart beating faster in his chest as Angelisse looked at him with those sultry, hazel eyes. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to meet such a beautiful woman like her, and he was determined to make the most of it.
“I'm here for the same reason as everyone else,” Timothée replied smoothly, his eyes crinkling in a charming smile. “To have a good time.” He couldn't help but add, “And maybe to meet someone special, like you?”
Angelisse giggled. “It's my best friend's bachelorette party tonight.”
“A bachelorette party, huh?” Timothée replied, his gaze traveling down Angelisse's body, taking every inch of her. “Sounds like a lot of fun.” He smirked, his voice husky. “I take it you're one of the bridesmaids?”
Angelisse giggled again, her hands running over her body in a playful and flirty manner. “I'm the maid of honor,” she replied coyly. “And I'm having the time of my life.”
Timothée couldn't take his eyes off of her, she seemed too good to be true. She was a goddess, and her playful and confident demeanor was like a breath of fresh air and an absolute turn-on.
Timothée couldn't remember the last time he'd felt so attracted to someone, and he knew he had to make a move. He took a step closer to Angelisse, his gaze never leaving hers.
“You're absolutely stunning, you know that?” he said, his voice rough with desire. “I'm one lucky guy.”
Angelisse felt her heart flutter. She had never felt like this with anyone in her life.
Timothée closed the distance and gently placed his hand on her waist. He could feel the heat radiating off of her body, and he knew that she was just as attracted to him as he was to her.
“Would you like to go somewhere more private, Angelisse?” he whispered, his voice husky. “I'd love to get to know you better.”
Angelisse felt shivers go down her spine at his words. She nodded, her eyes never leaving his, and followed him out of the bathroom and into the crowds. Timothée led Angelisse through the crowd, his hand still on her waist protectively. They reached a quiet corner of the club, and Timothée paused, looking at Angelisse.
“Is this private enough for you?” he asked, his eyes locking into hers.
Angelisse nodded, her cheeks pink from the alcohol and the excitement. “Perfect.” she replied, smiling at him like a lovesick teenage girl.
“So, what's your story? What do you do in life? Besides being impossibly handsome, I mean.” she asked as she sipped on her drink.
“I do stuff. What about you? Besides being incredibly irresistible, I mean.” he asked with a smile.
Angelisse giggled, her eyes shining with flirtation. “I'm a financial consultant.” She exaggerated, her words coming out slurred because of the alcohol.
“I've never seen a girl as beautiful as you are.” Timothée smiled as he stared at Angelisse.
“Take a picture, it'll last longer.”
“Don't mind if I do.” Timothée chuckled, pulling out a camera from his jacket. He fumbled with it for a moment before pressing the button and capturing a photo of her.
“You're a goddess, baby girl.” Timothée chuckled, his hand on Angelisse's leg.
“Let's get out of here,” Timothée whispered in her ear. “I know a place where we can have some real fun.”
Angelisse stumbled after him, a look of excitement on her face. Despite their drunken state, she felt like she was on top of the world, with the most gorgeous man in the room at her side.
“Lead the way.” she giggled.
“Oh, baby, I think I'm in love with you,” Timothée continued, his hand in hers. “Marry me?” Timothée asked, stumbling forward.
“Think you can handle me?” she purred, her hand brushing against Timothée's cheek flirtatiously.
Timothée smirked at her, his eyes twinkling. He loved a challenge, and Angelisse was definitely that. “I can handle anything you can dish out,” he replied, his voice full of confidence. “But the question is, can you handle me?”
Angelisse returned his smirk, her eyes sparkling mischievously. “I can handle anything, babe,” she replied. “And I'll bet you can't handle me at all.”
“Well, I know this little chapel on the boulevard we can go to.” Timothée smirked. “No one will know.”
“Let's do it,” she replied, her eyes shining in the night light. “Just for tonight, just for the fun of it.”
Angelisse had never done anything like this before, but she was ready for anything.
Timothée's heart skipped a beat. This woman was intoxicating. She was a fire that couldn't be tamed, but he loved every second of it.
“Let's do it!” Timothée smiled like the Cheshire cat, grabbing her hand and pulling her along.
Tumblr media
They found the chapel, and Timothée led her inside. They giggled as they stumbled through the church, giggling and kissing. They knew they shouldn't be there, but they didn't care. They were living in the moment, completely and utterly reckless.
12:30 AM, February 14, 2022
“Do you take-”
”I do.” Timothée smiled like the Cheshire cat, his hands in hers.
“Do you take-"
“I totally do!” Angelisse giggled.
“Wow, you two are in a rush to get married, huh?” The officiant chuckled, “And by the power vested in me by the state of Nevada, I pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”
Timothée leaned in, his lips meeting Angelisse's in a passionate kiss. He held her close, his hands roaming over her body as he poured all of his desire and need into the kiss.
Angelisse melted in his arms, her hands tracing over his body and tangling in his hair. She had never felt so passionate or so desired, and she wanted this moment to last forever.

— CHAPTER TWO: We can stay at home and watch the sunset but I can't help but asking are you bored yet
— SUMMARY: Kate and Y/n's reunion isn't what Kate expects.
— WARNINGS: two curse words i believe, sexual themes but no smut, mention of blood
Tumblr media
Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!
That was all that was going through Kate's mind right now. Her brain was still trying to comprehend what her mom said but at the time was feeling at the emotions all at once. She wanted to cry, she wanted to rejoice and she definitely wanted to go to the bathroom.
"What do you mean 'she's coming back'?" Kate was trying to make sure she heard her mom right before she flew off the handle.
"Well I guess her and her mom wanted to see New York and she found out we lived here so they are hopping on the first plane and they will be here by tomorrow."
Yup, she heard her completely correctly. Now she could commence her freakout.
She laid on the floor. She wanted to burst into tears but instead her brain was seeing everything, everywhere, all at once. All of her memories of you were rising to the top.
That creaky swing that used to be in your backyard, the way you used to dress, the bright purple you insisted on painting Kate's bedroom by yourselves and ended up being purple for a few months.
She missed you so much. She didn't know what she was worrying about, she was excited to see you again.
"I'm having a party tomorrow night and they're going to be there if you want to come."
Not that excited! She couldn't see you so soon.
"I don't know why I said it like it was your decision. You're coming, I cannot handle Claire by myself."
Claire was your mother and she was like Godzilla and the Boogeyman mixed together. She always enjoyed having Kate in her home but something in her just absolutely couldn't find it to pretend to be nice to Kate's mom.
Kate never understood why she could be so nice to her but not her mom, it didn't make sense. Nevertheless, she definitely could chill things down if she was there.
"Fine. I'll be there." She rolled her eyes. But her mom didn't care, this was a win in her book. She was going to celebrate.
And Kate was about to do something brash, maybe a tattoo?
Could she pull off a bob?
Both answers were a no so she just went to bed. Today was kind of draining even if she barely did anything.
Tumblr media
Next day, Kate woke up determined. She was going to dominate this party and see you, and have the best time ever.
Yeah, no, none of that happened.
The moment she got inside the building, all of bodily functions started to act against her. First, her bladder attacked. She had to take the longest piss known to man. She was in the bathroom for like 18 minutes.
No one had seen her in while.
Next, she got a cramp in her knee. That doesn't seem like a problem but this event had no chairs so she had to sit on the floor, not being able to stand up.
And lastly, her nose started bleeding. Like gushing blood. It's like her nose was having a period.
Trying to fish for tissues, she banged her knee against the table. "Ow." Like her night could get any worse.
"Katie?! Why are you on the floor?"
She looked up and it's like someone was just cackling at her, they did not want her to succeed. Surely enough, you were standing above, looking more beautiful than when she last saw you.
Well the last time she saw you, you were like 10 but that doesn't matter because you were here.
"I cwamped my leg and can't stand. And I'm bweeding from the nose." Her words sounded funny since she was full of tissues and a whole lot of blood. You couldn't help but giggle.
"Well either way, it's great to see you." You got down to her level and pulled her into your arms, completely not thinking about the blood.
"Sorry. I got blood on your clothes."
"Wouldn't be the first time."
You situated yourself to sit next to her, getting as close to her as possible. She missed having you this close. She almost thought it was a dream but then you touched her.
She hadn't felt your touch in years. Feeling it again was like eating your favorite food again after a while and finding out you still love it.
"So how are you? Besides having everything happen to you at once."
"The best. Now that you're here." You smiled. You reached forward, helping her release her hand from the blood. Instead, you held them for her.
"Why do I feel like I've seen this before?" Kate's mom popped up, crossing her arms at the two of you. "Our girl's always hurting herself, isn't she?" You scrambled off the floor, going over to her mom for your hug.
Kate couldn't hide the blush that was spreading from hearing you call her 'your girl'. Maybe it was the blood. Who knows?
"So Miss Bishop, how's life? Kate still giving you trouble?" You chuckle, looking back at Kate for a second, who just seemed to be trying to hide her face.
"Always. And I told you, you can call me Eleanor. I've known you for a while." She tried, your hands still in hers.
"I know but you're like my mom, Miss B. And I wouldn't call my mom by her first name." You shrugged.
Kate's brain was making sure to remember every part of this moment, she never wanted to forget when you walked back into your life. (although she was gonna keep out the part where she was laying on the floor and bleeding)
But her thoughts got disrupted when she noticed your mom walking right over to the two of you. Oh no. That brought Kate to her feet, even if she wanted to scream in agony.
"Claire! So lovely to see you!" Kate greeted first. She saw the look on your mom's face, she was unhappy. Kate figured hop on it before she could.
"Katherine! Always a pleasure!" She went in for a hug but then looked down, noticing the way Kate was trying so hard to hop on her other leg. "Oh no! Kate, what happened?" A sudden worry washed over her.
"My body doesn't like me. How are you?" She tried to shift the conversation to her, hoping to forget about her pain.
"Normally fine but this one over here is giving me a run for my money." She gestured to you, looking like something was definitely bothering the two of you. She wanted to ask, but figured she could hear when the two ladies walked away.
And it was like they heard her brain since they walked away, going to talk to someone else, leaving the two of you alone.
"So what was that about?"
You rolled your eyes, not taking your eyes off of your mom, making sure she was far away.
"She is so worried about me. I dropped out of college a few months ago and she thinks I don't have any 'prospects'. She brought me here, hoping your mom could give me a job. She's so annoying."
This was new territory for Kate. She had never heard you speak anything but highly about your mom.
"Well she's right about one thing. My mom will definitely give you that job, she loves you." You smiled and all of a sudden, the pain from her leg vanished. There was something about your smile, it could make the clouds disappear.
"Well I do love your mom."
And there was that shift, that shift that Kate was afraid of, the shift that haunted her dreams. The shift that let her know, things were going to be different now.
She knew once she saw you, it wasn't going to all shiny and rainbows and you would go back into your old routine. You were like 12! You were adults now, things were going to change and she definitely didn't want to them to.
So she tried her hardest to bring the past the present.
"Remember when you glued my hair to my bedroom door?" You looked down, chuckling, you remembered the moment exactly.
"Well it wasn't my fault. You said you were going to tell Jake Faraday that I had a crush on him and you wake up earlier than me. I had to do something to stop you."
"Glue? Really, Y/n? That was your first option." She furrowed her eyebrows, till this day she was still confused about your choice.
"In my defense, it was either glue or attach you to the ceiling and I knew you had a fear of heights. I wanted to send a message, not scare you half-to-death."
Her heart swelled. You remembered her fear after all these years, maybe there was hope for you yet.
So all night, you stayed dormant, reminiscing about everything that the two of you ever did.
The time you crashed the cool kids' party and they called your moms. The day you both went around the arcade, putting your high score on every game. Even the time you both almost met Justin Timberlake.
"Remember when we both got mono from each other?"
Her eyes went wide. Some part of her definitely wanted you to bring it up but something told her it was a bad idea. But here it was. Whether she liked it or not.
"Yeah. Do you know how hard it is to explain to your mother how you and your best friend both have the kissing disease but 'didn't kiss each other'?" You let out a wry chuckle.
"I gotta say Kate, even if you did give me a disease, still one of the best kisses I've ever had."
She froze. The kiss that she was cursing herself for having, the kiss she stayed awake thinking about, the kiss that changed her life, it was the best you had ever had. She didn't know how to process.
But before she could get you to add on, you had to go. Not from the party, just to the bathroom and you would be right back.
She was ask when you came back.
Tumblr media
It had been almost 30 minutes and you hadn't came back.
Kate's bleeding stopped and her cramp was retreating. But she was now completely worried about you and she didn't know what to do.
She still saw her mom and yours so you were definitely still here but you could be having issues in the bathroom, something could be wrong and you might need help. She needed to find you.
So she started running around, looking in every bathroom in the building, hoping to find you in one. Even the men's!
Little note, you were not in the men's. I don't know why she thought you would be.
But she had checked every bathroom on the floor the party was on and not one of them had you in them. Maybe you were on a different floor. Maybe you weren't in the bathroom at all. Maybe you were dead!
Kate was thinking about too hard.
You probably went home and couldn't text her since you didn't have her number anymore. Yeah.
She was about to quit her search and go tell her mom she was going home, she served her purpose. If you were gone, chances are your mom was right behind you.
But something stopped her.
She heard moans and groans coming from the closet she was standing next to. At first, she figured someone must be hurt and she was about to burst in there and become Captain Save A Ho.
But as soon as the door swung open, she knew it was the complete opposite. And she looked on with fear.
You were inside the closet with some boy's lips on your neck.
Holy shit.

I could teach you things Pt 5
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: You said you don't drink much.....anyway turns out you're a totally different person! Especially when the ladies slip something to you, just to make you more compliant of course, they just want you to be their princess, nothing wrong with that, right?
Warnings: 18+ only Minors DNI Failed drugging because of Kate's interruption, but nothing horrible, Wanda just wanted her girl to be lucid for her, who wouldn't want that?
Words: 1,500
A/N: Not proofread because reading my own work back makes me sick. Enjoy! :D
"How's our pretty girl enjoying the party?" Wanda kissed up your neck swaying her body with yours as you let yourself enjoy the music coursing through your body
"Answer your mommy pretty girl" Nat appeared in front of you holding three drinks, made easy with her long fingers "yessss I'm enjoying the party" You reached to take the drink but Nat took it away "Ah ah my love I think you've had enough don't you?"
"But Natttt!"
You felt Wanda dig her nails into your side "You know that's not her name princess"
You winced at the slight pain but corrected yourself looking at Nat "Sorry Daddy, please can I have a drink?"
The older woman nodded handing you a fruity-looking drink you didn't recognise but didn't question "Thank youuu" You took the drink and gulped it down making the two women smile "Come on detka let's sit down"
Wanda pulled you into a dark booth in the corner of the huge club sitting you on her lap with Nat following close behind sitting next to you "I thought you said you weren't a drinker?" Wanda joked and you shrugged "I-I like…I lied" you hiccuped giggling and tried kissing Wanda's neck
"Your neck is sweaty" you giggled again
"It's because I have to keep running after you little one, you're quicker than Nat and I, you know you can't run off from us"
You rolled your eyes "I can do anything I want I'm not a baby, I'm a grown woman" You pulled away from the woman standing from Wanda's lap and saying something about going to the bar.
Nat sighed sitting next to Wanda properly and kissing her softly "Did you put it in?" Wanda asked and Nat giggled "Pretty sure you've said that to me before in bed"
Wanda pushed Nat away a little "You're a dick, did you do it or not?" Nat nodded "Yep! She should be sleepy right about now with how quickly she drank that"
Just as she finished speaking Wanda looked into the crowd and saw you leaning against the wall looking dizzy "hm seems like it's working, a grown woman huh? We'll see about that"
You thought it was funny walking away from the women but now you felt off, the room started swaying and your eyes felt heavy, what happened? And why did you suddenly feel helpless without Wanda and Nat
You felt arms wrap around your waist from the side and looked to the side seeing Wanda "Hey little girl do you feel fuzzy?"
You nodded letting yourself fall into her body and you felt Nat slide behind you helping to hold you upright "Are you sure you're a grown woman? It seems like you're a baby right now, aren't you? You need your mommy and daddy to take care of you?"
They weren't questions, not really and you knew that but all you could do was continue to sway in their hold "I think it's time to go home yeah?"
You mumbled a yes and the women smiled leading you out of the club, the cold air hit you making you stop and run to a bin and throw up in it, Wanda coming over and rubbing a soothing hand up and down your back "Oh honey you really can't handle your alcohol can you? It's okay we'll get you home to a nice hot bath with some cute ducks, would you like the ducks?"
Even though you didn't answer Wanda knew you'd love the ducks, like every good girl does
"Y/n?!" A voice echoed and you managed to pull your head up seeing your friend Kate coming over in a blurry haze
"Hey Kate," you said wiping your hand across your mouth and still holding onto Wanda "Dude you look fucking terrible, you never drink that much"
"She's fine Miss Bishop," Nat said sternly and the young girl looked between her and Wanda "Aren't you two too old to be out partying?" She laughed but they weren't laughing
"Actually Miss Bishop we're all here together," Wanda said while looking over you making sure you were still okay
Kate gasped "Oh my god! Dude did you bag yourself two MILFs?! Hell yeah! Are you their sugar baby? Damn I wish I had a hot milf to hold my hair while I threw up"
You knew Kate was probably saying something ridiculous but you couldn't care when you felt like your insides were at war with each other, all you wanted to do was lay down and you needed Wanda to take you home
"…Mommy please can we go…" you whispered but it was loud enough for Kate to hear and start laughing
"Mommy? Wow you are so whipped, I need to tell Peter" Pulling her phone out she went to call Peter but Nat quickly snatched the phone out of her hand "Hey Nat come on, Yelena wouldn't care, be cool like your sister"
The Russian threw the phone to the ground and stood on it breaking it
"Nat what the hell?!"
"I think it's time to go, Kate, now" The girl left in a huff and Nat turned to you and Wanda "Time to go home my loves"
The drive back to the house was quiet, you were asleep in Wanda's arms and Nat was driving "Are you okay Nat?"
She sighed "Sure, just Yelena is going to be pissed at me when Kate tells her I broke her phone, how's Y/n?"
Wanda looked down at you and kissed your forehead "She's okay, still a little fuzzy, she's a pretty girl like this"
Nat glanced in the rearview mirror at you two and smiled "A lot of room back there?"
Wanda raised an eyebrow "Sure?"
"Maybe she needs to be even more relaxed?" Nat winked but Wanda just shook her head "Our first time together will be special, not in the back of the car Natalia"
Nat groaned "But the car is clean! And what's more special than a Tesla?"
You stirred in Wanda's hold curling into her "Behave Nat"
"I'm not a dog Wanda" she retorted
"Really? Then why do you wear the collar I got you? For fashion?" Wanda kissed your head smirking at Nat's blushed face "Okay whatever" she went back to driving in silence
When they arrived at Wanda's house Nat helped her carry you out of the car and into the house into the bedroom "Oh princess you're so cute" Wanda whispered laying you down
"Well, that didn't work out very well did it?" Nat joked and Wanda lightly smacked her arm "I didn't think our girl liked the special treat in her drink, plus Miss Bishop didn't help"
Nat agreed "It'll be okay Wands, well, what do we do now?"
"Let her sleep, she's had a long night of drinking"
Nat chuckled "Yeah sure, just drinking, I don't think we can drug her like the last one"
"Don't make it sound so sinister Natalia the last girl just needed to be kept lucid, a shame her family took her away from us" Wanda kissed you on the cheek when you stirred in her hold "Shh honey you're okay Mommy and daddy are here, let's get you into bed"
You woke up a little in Wanda's hold hearing them talking in Russian, you think it was Russian anyway, but you chose to forget it and close your eyes again when you felt the soft bed underneath you drifting quickly back off to a deep sleep, you'd try and figure out what happened in the morning
******************************************************************
"Are you sure? Maybe you just imagined it?" Kate was pacing back and forth in her shared apartment with Peter reminiscing about the night's events
"No she was definitely drugged, I've never seen her act like that when she's been drunk, and trust me I've seen her absolutely smashed out of her mind!"
"But why would Miss Maximoff and Miss Romanoff drug her, they don't seem the type, Miss Maximoff did slap me on the back of the head once but that was because I took a cookie from the plate she had for the church picnic"
Kate stopped in her tracks to look at Peter questionably "You took a cookie? You know if you waited like an hour you could've taken more at the picnic"
He shrugged "Yeah I know but I didn't want to listen to boring church talks"
"Fair enough" Kate agreed "but back to Y/n, I'm just worried about her, I hope I am being paranoid"
"Maybe call her mom? She's gotta know what's going on" Peter suggested and Kate shrugged "She and Mom aren't that close I doubt she knows, I'll call Yelena later"
"Ooooh calling your girlfriend?" Peter teased laughing when Kate threw a cushion at him "My very best friend I'll have you know, the only one who actually listens to me and isn't a dick" She smirked when Peter faked a gasped
"You hurt me, Katie"
"Good"
They both laughed momentarily forgetting if you were actually in trouble with the older women, they'd help you tomorrow.

"What do you mean she left?" Wanda asks Yelena who stepped past her sister and Steve to get closer to the brunette.
"She left because of you," the younger Russian repeats with venom laced in her tone. Bucky gets up from his spot on the couch and steps in front of Yelena to stop her from coming any closer to Wanda.
"Yelena, don't," Bucky warns to which the blonde scoffs at. "Don't what? Tell her the truth? Because that played out well so far, didn't it?"
"You know it isn't just about her. You're looking for someone to blame and maybe she's partially at fault but it doesn't mean you get to dump all your resentment towards her," Bucky tells her. If it was anybody else who dare speak to her in such a way, they probably would have gotten a slap right across the face. But it was Bucky, who was the only person besides Natasha and Y/n who she allowed to speak to her in such a way.
Yelena rolls her eyes before crossing her arms over her chest, looking up at the man who's standing in her way to rip the Sokovian a new one and if he thinks he can stop her then he's a fool.
"My resentment towards a certain Sokovian in this room isn't just about today. It's about everything she's done, directly or indirectly to Y/n in the last year. If Kate, who's the most oblivious out of all of us, can pick out the number of times Y/n got hurt by the Sokovian then Wanda should at least know that her actions towards her so-called best friend were impacting her in a negative way. And ultimately, if Y/n was to listen to anyone telling her to stay it would have been Wanda she'd listen to but Wanda did the opposite, didn't she? She pushed and prodded Y/n so much that Y/n felt as if this was the best decision for all parties. So no. I will not spare Wanda Maximoff my damn resentment because she deserves it." Yelena lays out as if the brunette wasn't in the same room as her.
Yelena sidesteps Bucky and walks up to Wanda getting up to her face, to which the brunette didn't stand back from.
"You're a fool," Wanda swallows at Yelena's bitter quiet but strong words. "And I don't know what she ever saw in you," Yelena tried to walk past her with an aggressive bump of their shoulders but Wanda grabs Yelena's bicep tightly before she can walk further.
The room goes eary quiet and no one knows what to say. Yelena glances at Wanda's grip and Natasha takes a cautious step toward the two while the rest watch in anticipation of what's to come next.
Wanda's mind is reeling. Y/n left. She's gone and she didn't even get a proper goodbye. Just like that, she disappeared into thin air.
"A walk? Anyone?" Kate suddenly throws out in the air after fidgeting uncomfortably through the silence.
"Get your hand off of me," Yelena dangerously warns Wanda but the brunette only stares at the side of her face. After a long few seconds of nothing, Natasha takes another step closer after noticing Yelena fisting her hands.
"You're wrong," Wanda spits out evenly in a low tone but clear enough for everyone to pick up on while she lets go of Yelena's arm.
"Oh yeah? About what?" Yelena turns around to come face to face with the brunette once again.
"She wouldn't have listened to me," Wanda shrugs nonchalantly but it was clear in her face that she was only trying to hide her anger.
"You're more stupider than I thought," Yelena throws out shaking her head in disbelief.
"And why is that, Yelena? You're here all up on my face, but you truly don't know shit," Wanda spits out, accenting her remark with a slight head tilt.
"If I were you, I'd shut up," Yelena growls at the brunette as she closes the gap between them, chest touching, nose flaring, and eyes sending daggers to the other. "Years, Wanda. Years she had to sit back in pain watching you. Years of her sacrificing everything for you. Years of making sure you were always happy. Years of putting you before her. And how did you pay her back? How did you show her your appreciation? By forgetting your traditions? Traditions that y'all have done for years. Traditions that Y/n made sure she was to never miss, cancelling everything and everyone just to make sure she made it to you."
Yelena takes another harsh step forward resulting in her chest pushing Wanda back a few steps but this display of aggression didn't falter Wanda's stance. "You forgot her at the roof. You forgot your brunch dates. You forgot Y/n's second birthday," now that last one knocked Wanda's breath out of her chest.
"She got you that stupid fucking dark hold book. She saved up her paycheques to make sure she got you that damn book but she sacrificed all that and gave Vision the credit because why? Because she wanted to see that stupid ass smile on your face. And after all that, you still continue to forget about her. You're a selfish asshole who doesn't care about anything and anyone around her but herself. She fucking worshipped where you fucking walked and you choose to continue to be oblivious, making out with your stupid little boyfriend in front of her whenever you can. She wanted to get away from you! It's because of you why she fucking left!" Yelena yells bringing her hands up to push the sokovian's shoulders back and at this point everyone was on their feet, ready to stop a fight from happening.
To everyone's surprise, Wanda catches both Yelena's wrists before she got pushed back and she ends up pushing the younger Russian back instead. "You think you know shit?!" Wanda yells and as if the tables were turned, it was now the brunette who charges forward the Russian.
"Okay miss knows it all, did you fucking know that I did confess my feelings to her this morning?!" Wanda throws out and the revelation earns a gasp from anyone. "Did you know that she claims that she fucking loves me back but when I asked her to stay and she still chose to fucking leave?!"
Yelena shakes her head in denial with a frown on her face, "Y/n wouldn't have said no to you."
"Well, then I guess you don't know Y/n as well as you thought you do, huh?" Wanda chuckles dryly, "all this time you thought she'd sacrifice it for me? All this time you thought she'd pick me, yet here she is, gone after I confessed to her that I'm fucking in love with her. I offered to go with her Yelena and she fucking told me no. She told me she didn't want me."
Wanda steps up to Yelena's face, "get it through your head that Y/n didn't choose me. Get it through your head that Y/n still chose to leave."
Yelena being Yelena, always wanting to get the last word in, doesn't back down. With an all-calm voice, Yelena says, "in that case, good for her. She's finally putting herself before you after years of putting you before her. It's time you do the same."
...
Wanda comes stumbling through her door at half past 2 am, "fuck you, fuck you, I hate you. I never want to see you ever again Y/n," the brunette yells to her phone.
"That's enough," Natasha says making herself known to the brunette who jumps at her voice. "Who let you in here?" Wanda asks confused as she slams her front door with her back, leaning on it for support right after. Natasha wonders for a second how this Sokovian hasn't gotten any noise complaints from her neighbours, as this scene has happened almost every day since Y/n left three weeks ago.
"I have a spare key to your apartment remember?" Natasha lightly reminds her, knowing that Wanda probably won't even remember this by the morning as she complains about a killer hangover.
Natasha walks over to the nearly blacked-out drunk brunette before quickly taking her phone and hanging up on Y/n. "Hey! I wasn't done yelling at her," Wanda yells as she tries reaching for her phone only to stumble forward and if it weren't for Natasha catching her, she would have planted face first to the ground resulting in an ugly bruise on her face.
"Yeah well, I said you're done. Bed," Natasha orders while she helps the brunette to her room. "You know that key was only for emergencies," Wanda mumbles and stumbles to her room despite Natasha's support.
"And you being out past 1 am a Wednesday getting close to blacked-out drunk is an emergency. This can't go on for any longer Wanda, this is unhealthy." Natasha reprimands her.
"Blame your sister for kissing me, leaving me, and breaking my heart," Wanda says before she falls on her bed and not even a second later knocks out. Natasha grumbles before she starts helping Wanda into comfier clothing.
...
"Where is Wanda?" Sam asks the group whilst starting the hand out of barbequed hotdogs to the group for their monthly friends' reunion.
"Late as per usual," Yelena mumbles as she squirts hot sauce all over her hotdog.
"Have you talked to her?" Bucky asks. "No."
"Yelena it's been months since y'all went at it with each other. You should just sit and talk because this is getting ridiculous," Bucky scolds her.
"Well then she can come to me and talk if she wants to talk," Yelena says as she rolls her eyes while Natasha shakes her head at her younger sister.
"You know she won't do that. Plus, what you did was uncalled for," Steve comments fitting the description of being the peacekeeper of the group.
"She asked for it," Yelena shrugs which earns a glare from the peacekeeper himself and before Steve can answer, Sam's front door opens revealing Wanda.
"Holy shit, what did you do?" Tony asks loudly which gets everyone's attention. Wanda shrugs "what's the rite of passage?" Wanda asks Sam who's hosting this month's reunion. "Jello-shot," he smiles cheekily before Wanda takes one of the cups and quickly downs it making a face once she tastes the straight Jello tequila.
"You dyed your hair red? Why?" Tony asks. "What you don't like it?" Wanda tilts her head with the question but Tony chooses stupid this time around and answers her rhetorical question. "No, I don't."
"Don't anger the beast," Sam says through a cough before walking away which makes Wanda rolls her eyes in annoyance.
That's Wanda for you who's been acting out since Y/n left a few months ago. The former brunette is now easily annoyed, easily angered, short fuse, and simply does not give a fuck about anything and anybody else.
"How's your dream job?" Steve asks instead, sensing the clear annoyance of the newly red-headed Sokovian. "Well it's my dream job, so I'm loving it a lot," Wanda says half sarcastically but sighs when she notices Steve's genuine curiosity. "It's going great, my manager is amazing, my colleagues are great, the company is great, and I'm truly having fun."
"That's what I like to hear," Pietro comments suddenly coming out of nowhere and ruffling up her nicely done hair which then earns him a big ole slap on the arm.
"So are you late from your pussy appointment?" Yelena says from the balcony door. "You know Yelena, maybe you need to schedule some sex appointment for yourself. I know people and you seem like you need to get laid," Wanda shoots out.
That's another thing Wanda started doing after Y/n left, one-night stands. It's almost rare for Wanda to get through a whole week without at least having two one-night stands. And no matter how many times she got scolded by her friends, she continues to do it to the point that no one says anything anymore.
"Yelena," Bucky says as a warning when he sees the blonde about to make another remark. Instead the Russian rolls her eyes at Bucky before stepping out the balcony to tend to the barbeque that was still cooking.
Natasha shakes her head at the two, something she's been doing a lot lately. "You two need to sort your shit out with each other. It's getting old," she comments as she passes the Sokovian on her way to the kitchen.
"Enough of that, shots anyone?" Tony yells through the apartment.
"Can I do a chaser?" Kate asks and Clint pats her back with a chuckle, "oh Kate."
"Is that a yes?" Kate stutters out.
...
A few weeks passed since the last friends' reunion and Wanda is currently doing a deep clean of her apartment when she comes across an envelope underneath her bed. She furrows her eyebrows wondering what could be inside the envelope, she turns it over to come face to face with her name nicely written on the front of the envelope.
She freezes immediately knowing whose penmanship that was from. Her frown grows trying to remember when she could have possibly received a letter from Y/n and as she was about to open the envelope, a knock comes booming on her front door. She jumps at the sound and drops the envelope to the ground.
She picks up the envelope contemplating if she should throw it out or actually open it but before she can even make a decision another set of knocks comes through her front door.
"I'm coming!" she yells out before quickly placing the envelope on her bedside table. She makes her way to the door and looks through the peephole only to come face to face with one of the people she did not expect to be standing in front of her door.
Wanda opens the door with a puzzled look on her face, "Yelena?"
"Hi."
...
Y/n Y/l/n
Y/n sighs heavily once she steps through her front door, she drops her purse and keys on the table by the door before locking it behind her. Her first week at her job was a whirlwind of many emotions and she's starting to think that maybe she should start investing in a therapist.
Y/n was absolutely thrilled to be starting her dream job but it was hard for her to celebrate that win with how everything went down back home. A part of her feels guilty for leaving her friends, scratch that, her family and she's honestly been feeling some intense waves of homesickness but that's something she'd never tell her friends since she feels she doesn't have the right to feel those.
Then let's not mention how everything with Wanda had gone down. That was not how she planned to tell the Sokovian of her feelings and she feels like a dick for not further explaining herself. But then again, the letter that she had left for the Sokovian should explain everything going through her head, that's if Wanda reads it.
On top of that, Sam had face-timed her the day after she landed to tell her what had gone down at the party after she left. He told her how Wanda and Yelena went at it and how everyone was sure someone was walking away with some sort of injury, but gladly no one did.
Y/n wanted to call Yelena or Natasha right after that but she felt that maybe, letting them call her when they were ready is a better option. She's sure that the sisters are probably upset with her for not telling them about the revelation that had happened between her and Wanda that day. So ultimately, she decided that she'll let them cool off and wait till they call her instead.
A week later, Y/n finally gets a facetime call from Yelena. Y/n reaches over to mute her TV while answering the facetime call, "hello sestra," Y/n answers with a smile.
"I'm mad at you," Yelena says and Y/n's smirk grows a little, "I know that you are."
"Well I was, I'm over it now," Yelena deflates with a pout. "Although now that I'm not mad, I'm hurt that you didn't tell me."
Y/n sighs a little and takes a sip of her red wine, "I'm sorry Yelena. There was so much going on in my head that day, you knew that. Plus, whatever happened between Wanda and I was not my intention at all. I went there and before I can even try to confess about my leave, she blurted out about her feelings and then I followed after," she explains scratching her eyebrows.
"She started kissing me but I had to cut it off to tell her about the job. And it was just all shitty. And everyone was sad, and I was sad, and I knew that if I let myself process and feel everything, there would be a great chance of me not following through with my decision. So it was poker face until I was up in the air where I didn't have the chance to turn around."
Y/n bites her lips looking at Yelena softly, "I'm sorry that I didn't have it in me to tell you or Natasha. To be honest with you, I'm just coming around to accepting and understanding what actually went down that day."
"Hey, it's okay. I completely understand that. I don't blame you really, but a heads up would have been nice," Yelena mutters the last part but Y/n still heard it and started laughing. "Heads up before you ripped her apart at the party?"
Yelena groans, "she was asking for it! And she just pushed all the right buttons so it all came out. It's fine, I still got the last words." Y/n chuckles at that, "of course you did. Where's Nat?"
"She's at work. She'll be home in half an hour, don't worry, she's not mad at you anymore."
"Oh thank god for that."
...
"You know what, I'm glad you aren't here. I'm glad you left. I never want to fucking see you again, you're parents were right about you, you know?! I can't believe I spent so many years trying to tell you otherwise when they were right all along!" Wanda yells through the phone and Y/n stares at the phone on the coffee table, that's been left on speaker.
This was the third week into Y/n moving away and these types of calls happened almost every night. Y/n knows that she could easily ignore it and not pick it up, but it's Wanda, how can she not? So she sits through a 30-minute to an hour-long phone call every night where Wanda just yells at her. Y/n can tell how drunk Wanda really is during every phone call, she's 99.9% sure that Wanda has never called her sober these last few weeks. It makes Y/n question if the brunette even remembers these phone calls.
Y/n can hear Wanda stumbling through a door, "fuck you, fuck you, I hate you. I never want to see you ever again Y/n," the brunette yells to her phone yet again.
"That's enough," she hears Natasha say and she can only guess how surprised the brunette was. "Who let you in here?" Wanda asks seemingly confused as Y/n hears the door slam shut. At least Y/n can now relax a bit knowing Wanda made it home safely.
"I have a spare key to your apartment remember?" Natasha lightly reminds her. Y/n hears some shuffling on the other side of the phone before the line cuts off. Y/n turns on her back, staring up at the ceiling and letting out a loud sigh.
Y/n almost booked a flight ticket after the third drunken call Wanda made to her, she was ready to come back and make this all better knowing that she could. But she thought about the real deep reasoning as to why she even took this job in the first place.
It was never about the title or the company and it was never about anything anyone ever guessed. Y/n took the job to prove her parents wrong. Y/n moved across the country to prove to herself that what was engraved in her mind was never true and it would never be her reality. Wanda had helped Y/n all these years to start believing that she was not what her parents told her she was. But now hearing Wanda say that she believed her parents were right all along was a massive knife struck through her heart.
This proves to her that she was never enough for Wanda and she definitely would never be if she had decided to stay in New York. Y/n took the opportunity to turn her life around and prove to everyone, her parents, herself, and especially Wanda, that she can do it. She can reach more than the limitations her parents had put around her, she's enough, and she's worth it.
...
"Boo!" Y/n yells and clutches her chest while she shuts her eyes tightly. She can hear muffled laughing in front of her from a pair of familiar-sounding voices. Y/n tries to get her breathing in a normal pattern once again but the stressful week she just had at work did not help.
All she wanted to do was to come home, have a glass, or two, or maybe a full bottle of wine while she binges on Friends. But from the sound of it, that won't be happening tonight.
She opens her eyes and sends daggers at the two people who almost caused her to have a heart attack. Y/n closes her front door behind her and locks it before throwing her keys toward the two who were on the ground dying of laughter, "you idiots!"
"You should have seen your face," Yelena laughs out loud while Pietro nods in agreement. "Damn it, why didn't we record that," add Yelena who was laying on the floor wiping her tears.
"Actually, I'm smarter than you so I did record it and it will be sent to the group chat ASAP," Pietro smirks over at Yelena and Y/n only groans in response. "Don't you dare send that, I swear to god," Y/n threatens while she puts her purse down and takes her shoes and coat off.
"What? You're going to yell like you just did?" Pietro mocks and it sends Yelena into another fit of laughter. "Ha ha ha, you're so funny really. I'm dying," Y/n deadpans.
"What are you two doing here anyway? And how the hell did you even get in my apartment?" Y/n asks while making her way to the kitchen to check what she can make for dinner.
"We have our ways. Plus, we're here because it's been 6 months since we last saw you and from the looks of it, you weren't going to initiate inviting us over so we took matters into our own hands," Yelena explains smugly making Y/n roll her eyes while trying to refrain from smiling at her friend's thoughtfulness.
"A heads up would have been nice," Y/n says in faux annoyance. "Well then it wouldn't be a surprise and we wouldn't have caught that amazing video," Pietro throws back.
...
"Dang, that was so good. Since when did you get good at cooking?" Pietro says before he slouches back on his chair, chewing his last bite. Y/n chuckles as she wipes her mouth with a napkin, "how rude. I've always been good at cooking. But I guess I really started branching out with my cooking here. There's really nothing else I can do so," Y/n finishes with a shrug right before she picks up her glass of wine.
"Which by the way, you never talk about. So how is it really? Do you like it here? Do you see yourself staying here?" Yelena asks, now turning her full attention on her sister-like best friend.
Y/n swallows her wine as well as the nerves that those questions brought her. This was something she's been heavily thinking about for the last months. Was this a place she want to be growing old in? She made a couple of friends from work but this place never made her feel at home the way New York did. Y/n felt as if she was truly only here for work and nothing else. She comes home, makes dinner, relaxes, showers, then bed, and this has been her routine since day one.
Y/n's half-year check-in with her bosses is coming up and so this has been something that she's been asking herself. But as much as she wants to be as truthful as she can be with her friends and family, she knows that she has to pick and choose her words carefully because it's detrimental that she makes this decision on her own.
"I mean, it doesn't feel like back home. I'll tell you that," she chuckles dryly. Her cryptic response makes Yelena narrow her eyes at her, "care to elaborate?" the blonde Russian tries.
"New York is home, it always was and it will always be, you know?" Y/n shrugs swallowing her emotions down, "I don't know anyone here, my friends and my family are back home. It still needs some time getting used to."
"So why not go back home?" Y/n sends Yelena a pointed look before getting up and gathering their plates together. "No, I'm serious. If you feel like you have a horrible life here, then why not just go back home? You have 6 months of experience in this position under your belt, I'm sure it'll be easy for you to get the same position with another amazing company that could possibly be in New York." Pietro was the one who sends Yelena a look this time around.
"First, I never said my life was horrible here. Second, it's not that easy," Y/n replies as she busies herself with filling up the dishwasher.
"How can it not be that-" Yelena tries but Y/n cuts her off sharply, "Yelena. Are you here to pester me about this or are you here to spend some true time with me?"
Yelena sighs almost guiltily, "the latter."
"So drop it."
...
"Oh my god, Yelena," Y/n groans as she drops her body on the couch while the blonde whines for a second before knocking out. Pietro laughs behind them while he shakes his head, "Miss Yel over here thinking she can outdrink us both. Ridiculous."
"I told you not to challenge her, idiot," Y/n says as she starts taking Yelena's shoes off and Pietro passes her some sweats for Y/n to change the Russian into. Pietro shrugs before turning around to give the two some privacy, "that's what she gets for challenging me first."
Y/n can't help but chuckle lightly, remembering how Yelena went all up on their faces saying she can outdrink them both combined, "you're so mean."
"This might be a wake-up call for Miss Yel," Pietro jabs again before going into the bathroom to change and get ready for bed himself.
It was the end of the first week of their vacation and Y/n felt bad that she had been way too busy during the week with work that she couldn't take them out anywhere. Therefore, Y/n decided that a night out in the city this Saturday would be nice and it'll be her way to finally show the two around her current city.
Natasha had called them in the middle of the week right before she purchased her plane ticket to come to Seattle for the remainder of Yelena's and Pietro's stay. The redhead told them that she was too jealous of the thought of the two being with Y/n so she impulsively asked for a week off of work to come and visit, then she'll come to fly back to NYC with Thing 1 and Thing 2.
The redheaded Russian will be landing tomorrow, Sunday, and Y/n only hopes that Yelena does not have a nasty hangover in the morning since they all have to wake up at 6 am to pick up Natasha from the airport. Although, they can always leave Yelena to sleep while they pick up Natasha.
Y/n is truly considering leaving the two at home while she goes and picks up her other Russian sister, maybe a time alone with them two would be nice, Yelena surely needs more time to rest. And that was the plan of action she decided on right before she floated to dreamland.
The next morning, Y/n slips out of her apartment at 5:45 am without waking anybody else up. She stops to grab some coffee before she starts her drive to pick her sister up, she didn't have to wait for long before Natasha came rushing out of the airport into her arms.
"Oh my god, I missed you so much," Natasha mumbles into Y/n's hair as she hugs her sister tightly. The moment was so touching that they both couldn't help but get teary, "I missed you so much more," Y/n mumbles back to her.
Natasha then slaps the back of Y/n's shoulder lightly with an accompanying teary chuckle, "then you should call more or better yet come fly out to see me asshole."
Y/n pulls away with her own watery chuckle as she wipes her face, "trust me if I could find time to fly out to you-you know I would in a heartbeat."
Natasha narrows her eyes at her before sighing in contentment, "I know you would. Fuck, come here." Natasha pulls her into another tight hug and after a few minutes they eventually drove off.
"So where are Thing 1 and Thing 2?" Natasha asks while she sips on Y/n's coffee making the latter roll her eyes playfully. "Well, I've been busy all week that I haven't been able to show them around so I thought a night out in the city last night would have been nice. It was an amazing night until Yelena ran her mouth and started stating how she can outdrink Pietro and I combined."
Natasha laughs in disbelief, "let me guess, Pietro told her she can't and they challenged each other."
"Uh huh and about two hours later, Yelena was blacked out drunk that I had to carry her back to the apartment," Y/n states as she shakes her head.
"And Pietro was basically acting sober?" Y/n nods at Natasha's guess. "What an idiot," Y/n couldn't help but laugh.
The two catch up with what's been going on in their personal lives as they drive to Y/n's apartment and Y/n was thankful that she ultimately decided to pick Natasha up on her own. This is what she needed, just normal friends catch up. No teasing, no innuendo, and she knows those types of comments will eventually come throughout the week but she's happy that it isn't how this reunion had started.
The redhead knows enough not to push on particular topics and she knows when the right moments are when to do so. Y/n is equally close with everyone in their friend group, but she does confine in Natasha in more detail including her actual emotional state regarding certain subjects. Natasha was someone Y/n knows she never has to hide from, someone she knows she can truly be 100 percent honest with and not feel like she ever has to walk on eggshells with.
...
Wanda Maximoff
"Pietro, you ready yet?" Wanda asks annoyingly as she knocks at her bathroom where her brother has been getting ready for the last hour. "What does a man have to do in the washroom to get ready for this long?"
Pietro suddenly opens the door with a smug face, "beauty takes time sestra, but it's okay I know you wouldn't know."
Wanda's jaw drops and watches as Pietro walks away from her, "excuse you little shit. Honestly, you've been hanging out with Yelena way too much. She's rubbing off on you."
Pietro chuckles, "I mean we did just get back from vacation so."
The twins start walking out of Wanda's apartment to the elevator, "oh yeah, where did y'all go again?"
"Visited Y/n," Pietro says nonchalantly as he walks into the elevator. The silver-haired man watches as his twin freezes for a moment and only snaps out of it when the doors started to close. Wanda squeezes in right before it closes, "you what?"
"Yelena and I went and visited Y/n for two weeks and Nat joined us for the second week and then the three of us flew back together." Pietro subtly watches his sister's reaction.
"Cool cool," Wanda mutters and Pietro raises an eyebrow, "cool?"
"Yeah, cool." Wanda says with a bite in her tone. "Okay," Pietro shrugs and exits out first once the doors were open again.
Wanda follows her brother while she tries to get a hold of her emotions. She's jealous at the fact that her other friends and her brother got to visit Y/n, meaning that they've been in constant contact with her while Wanda herself hasn't heard anything in months; and she wasn't about to be the one to reach out first.
Although, simultaneously she was still mad at Y/n for breaking her heart and a part of her just don't want to hear about her again. But underneath it all, she knows she just misses her ex-best friend truly.
Wanda never uttered a word again after that until the twins were walking to their parent's grave. It was the twins' parents' death anniversary and every year they come here to celebrate in the first half of the day. It felt weird this year because Y/n usually goes with them to visit their parents since the Maximoff's treated her like they were their own.
"Who? What? Where did those come from?" Wanda asks confused after she spots the nicely decorated potted flowers all around the graves. The twins walk a bit closer and Wanda's confusion only grows tenfold, who put those here? She never ordered flowers for their parents. Pietro lays the bouquet of flowers they brought themselves alongside one of the beautiful potted ones.
"Y/n sent them over," Pietro says softly as he sits on the grass and Wanda's confusion only grows from there, furrowing her eyebrows so deeply that it might just give her a headache. "She what?"
"Come on sestra, just because she isn't in the city doesn't mean she had forgotten about them. You know how much she cares for them and vice versa," Pietro tells the redhead.
"I know, I just, I didn't-" Wanda stutters scratching her eyebrows. The redhead can not for the life of her form a proper sentence due to all of the emotions and feelings rushing around her brain.
"You didn't think she would because in your eyes she's a villain. Yeah, maybe that's something you need to reflect on," Pietro mutters with an eye-roll. He knows the true story. He knows what Y/n had said and how wrong Wanda misheard her. He also knows about the phone calls that Wanda had made drunkenly and all the contents that were said in them. He was going to yell at Wanda for what she said but he realized that she never remembered them the day after.
Pietro can easily tell Wanda about all these and hopefully straighten her up a bit, make her feel better, and not waste so much time hating someone for saying and doing something they never did. But the silver-haired man knows that wasn't his place to say, Y/n also doesn't know that Wanda doesn't remember the phone calls and she also doesn't know that Wanda had completely misheard and misunderstood what she said.
But again, that was their problem and something that they need to figure out together therefore Pietro had always kept his mouth shut although sometimes his sister pushes the wrong buttons like right now.
"Excuse me?" Wanda asks shocked. Pietro sighs shaking his head, this probably was not the time for this, "nothing. This is something we can talk about another time."
"No, tell me what you meant."
Pietro whips his head towards Wanda and the redhead almost stumbles backwards at the fire in his eyes, something that was very rare. "Wanda. We're here for our parents. I'm not going to sit here and converse about this in front of them. So no. We will not be talking about this right now."
Wanda gulps and stares at his brother for a few seconds before sitting down on the grass beside him.
"Remember the first time mama made us watch The Dick Van Dyke show?" Pietro asks her after a few minutes of silence having no trace of fire in his tone.
...
A year after Y/n left New York
Wanda was enjoying her cozy Saturday night in, having The Dick Van Dyke show playing as background noise while reading a book when she heard her phone ping a new message. She quickly glances at her phone to see a message from Yelena on their friends' group chat.
Wanda softly places her book down on her lap to reach over for her phone on the coffee table and her glass of wine. She takes a sip of her glistening white wine while she waits for her phone to unlock to show the message.
The white wine that she was in the middle of swallowing almost choked her when the message came into her view. Wanda reads:
Yel: Guess who we stumbled upon at the airport?
The redhead moves her eyes under the message and sees a clear picture of Y/n with her suitcase.
Y/n's back.

Of course you can! I hope you enjoy it!
Fight

Tumblr media
"What's up with you?"
Kate asks, glancing over at her girlfriend before looking back towards the road.
"Nothing. I'm fine"
Y/n answers as she stares out the car window.
Kate sighs before putting one of her hands on her girlfriends thigh only for her to push it off.
"Seriously, tell me what I did"
"Kate, just leave it"
"No, you're pissed at me about something. Just tell me what it is"
Kate raises her voice slightly.
"You barely talked to me all night!"
Y/n yells as Kate stops the car outside their house.
"What are you talking about? I didn't have time! My mom was making me talk to all these investors, Y/n! Be pissed at her, not me!"
Kate exclaims as they both walk inside their house.
"Don't blame your mom! You could've given me a few minutes of your time, Kate!"
"I'm gonna take over that company! I can't just drop what I'm doing because your clingy!"
"You know what Kate? I'm done"
Y/n walks into their shared bedroom before slamming the door, leaving Kate standing in the living room as tears begin to run down her face.
Kate sits on the couch for a while before picking up her phone and dialing a number.
"Clint? I messed up. Can you come pick me up?"
"Yeah, of course. What happened? Are you okay?"
Clint replies from the other end of the line.
"No, not really"
Clint arrives soon after the call and Kate gets in the car.
"So, what happened?"
Clint asks after a few minutes of silence.
"I didn't make time for Y/n. We were at my moms party and she just kept bringing investors over to make deals with. I don't even care about the business. I care about Y/n but now we're fighting because I couldn't get away from my mom and her business and I don't know what to do, Clint. I can't lose her, she's everything to me"
Kate rambles as her eyes fill with tears.
"She won't leave you, Kate. What happened wasn't your fault. It's Y/n, she loves you more than anything. If you just apologise then everything will be fine"
Clint comforts her as Kate nods, thinking of ways to apologise to her girlfriend.
"Clint, can you help me with something? We need to go to the mall"
Clint nods confused before driving towards the mall.
"Why are we here?"
Clint asks the girl, wanting to get out of the shopping centre as soon as possible.
"I need to apologise to Y/n"
She replies as she pays for her stuff.
"And you need all this stuff to do that?"
He asks as he picks up some of the decorations.
"Yes, Clint. It's for Y/n, she deserves the best"
Clint sighs before dropping the girl back at her house.
When Y/n wakes up the next morning, she realises her girlfriend isn't in the bed. She sighs remembering their fight the night before and walks down the stairs.
"What's this?"
Y/n asks as she sees the decorations hung up in their living room and Kate cooking in the kitchen.
"It's an apology. I'm so sorry Y/n. I've just been stressed with school and work and my mom wasn't making it any easier. You're the only one who makes this world feel easy for me and I took you for granted. I promise I won't do that again"
Y/n walks towards her girlfriend before laying a soft kiss against her lips.
"It's okay, Katie. I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have made such a big deal about it"
Kate smiles before sitting the girl down and pushing a plate of food in front of her.
"I've also got cake. It's like a party with just us"
Kate tells the girl as she eats her breakfast.
"You're perfect, Katie"
Y/n replies as Kate gives her a soft kiss before replying.
"No one's as perfect as you"

Crash
Pairings: dad!Bucky x daughter!reader, bucky x natasha, wanda x reader(platonic), Loki x reader(Established)
Summary: Bucky, your dad, just got a new car after coming back from a grueling mission with Steve. You're now seventeen and have your license. There's no reason you shouldn't be able to drive it? Right?
Word Count: 2199
Warnings: Car crash, hospital, cursing, implied cheating, underage drinking, angst, some fluff if you really look.
A/N: Yelena is not Nat's sister in this. Also, Wanda is like 17, and so is Loki. Also, let me know if there are any mistakes, I don't proofread very well.
Tumblr media
"I said no." Bucky shook his head, arms crossed. You groaned, plopping down on the couch behind you. "Please? Wanda is waiting on me."
"Then you shouldn't have told her you would be picking her up." You rolled your eyes, standing up and looking at your Dad. "Dad, I have my own license and I've been driving for over a year. Why can't me and Wanda just go to this party?"
"Because the car is new and he doesn't want you to scratch it." Your uncle Steve said, walking down the stairs and to the kitchen. You looked back at your dad, seeing the look of confirmation on his face.
"Oh, come on!" You shouted, "I would never scratch it!" "You scratched the old car." Your mom, Natasha, said coming up behind her husband, wrapping her arms around Bucky's torso.
You crossed your arms over your chest,  "Uncle Tony let Peter go."
Bucky scoffed, "Alright you can." You piped up, a smile immediately embracing your lips, "We can." Your dad nodded, "On one condition." Humming, you looked down to text Wanda.
Y/N: Dad said yes. Be there in ten.
Wanda: Get here fast! Pietro already got a ride.
"Be back before one." You looked up to your Dad smiling, "Okay."
Your mom came up beside you, handing you the keys to Bucky's new car. But before you could grab them, she yanked them from your grasp. "No scratches." Shaking your head, you softly pried them from her hand, "Not one."
With a grin, you hugged both your parents, making sure to grab your wallet from the table before running down the driveway.
Opening the driver's door, you breathed in the new car smell, squealing that Bucky and Natasha let you take it out.
You pressed the start button, the engine revving to life as you sped from the driveway.
it was already dark outside, the party at Kate's starting at ten-thirty. Which meant you and Wanda had two hours there and fifteen minutes getting food after, then plenty of time to get home. It was perfect.
clicking down the left turn signal, you turned onto Wanda's street. You could see her sitting outside on the front step, Pietro had already left.
"Hey!!" She shouted, a smile on her face as she jumped into the car. "Hey," You accelerated, already halfway down her street and on your way to the party.
When you got there, the party was loud, even a block away. Pulling up, you saw Kate and Yelena standing on the front lawn with drinks in their hands. "Hey! Lena!" You shouted, running up to the two.
"Hey!" She yelled back, hugging you and Wanda. "Oh, Come on! Peter and Loki are about to play beer pong!" You laughed, pulling Wanda with you and into the house.  When you entered the living room, a giant table was set up with solo cups on each side.
"You know you'll lose, Parker." Loki snarked, pulling you to his side. You accepted the gesture, wrapping your arms around his torso.
"Alright." Peter nodded, holding his head high. "But if we win.." Pietro came up beside him, "Then we get an invite to Thor's penthouse party next week." Loki rolled his eyes at the name of his older brother and guardian.
"Fine." He threw the ball, landing it basically perfect in the front cup. "Ha! I'm already on a head start." Loki gloated, widening his arms at his side.
Tumblr media
"Ugh." Peter groaned, basically wasted, "How did he get every one!"
You laughed, gesturing for Pietro to help Peter home. "Come on Lokes." You pulled him into another room, pushing him onto the couch and straddling him, "That was very hot." "What?" Loki grinned, "Me winning or Me not missing a single throw." You let a laugh out, "Both." Within a second, your lips were crashing together, hungrily fighting.
You both heard someone clearing their voice behind you. You swore you were going to smack Yelena or Wanda for whatever they needed. But even more, unluckily, it was Sif.
"Yes?" You questioned, keeping your hands behind Loki's neck.
"I need to speak with Loki." You scoffed, "You can talk to him late-" But before you could finish your sentence, you were softly pushed off of Loki's lap and onto the couch.
"Just a minute darling." Loki gave you one last kiss before following the brunette upstairs. So there you sat, sulking on the couch, scrolling aimlessly through TikTok.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Wanda asked, sitting down next to you. Shrugging, you clicked off your phone. "It's not worth it." You stood, grabbing her hand, "Come on. Let's go find Lena."
"So how're things going with Loki?" Wanda questioned, looking down at her phone while you drove to get food. The party had been fun but after Loki never came back down and Sharon fought with Sam because he dumped her, it was getting boring. So you and Wanda left, going to get food before you both went back to your house.
It was already twelve-thirty and you were pushing your drive-thru time expectations.
You shrugged, "It's okay. I think he might have something going on with Sif though."
Wanda looked up, "What?" She clicked off her phone, "But you guys have been so good together."
You scoffed, "He's nice to me but an arrogant jackass to everyone else." Looking over to Wanda, you waited for her reaction.
Wanda tilted her head in understanding, "Yeah. I guess you just need to talk to him on Mon- Y/N!! WATCH OUT!!"
Suddenly a bright light flashed in your eyes making your hands fly from the wheel as you attempted to cover your face.
It seemed like everything was in slow motion. Your phone flew past your head, as did thousands of little shards of glass. Wanda was screaming beside you, and a sharp pain erupted in your side.
You were seventeen, almost eighteen. But at this moment, you wanted nothing but your mom and dad.
You had nothing but half a second to think about it before a crashing sound drowned your ears, and you hit your head. Leaving the darkness to surround your vision.
Tumblr media
Bucky shook his head, "She should be back by now." Natasha nodded, agreeing. "We told her midnight." She looked over to the clock, "It's almost two."
Steve walked into the room, pocketing his phone, "Melina said Yelena is already home and Kate's party ended half an hour ago."
Natasha dropped her head into her hands as Bucky maneuvered her into his lap. "it's okay. Me and Steve will go look for her." Natasha wiped the tears from her cheeks, "I'm coming too."
Tumblr media
The three stood up, grabbed their keys, and walked out the door. Steve jumped in his truck, Natasha sitting between him and Bucky. "Okay. I'm gonna go by Wanda's first then by Kate's." The parents nodded, continuously looking down at their phones in case they got a phone call from you.
The drive felt hours long when really it was only around eight minutes. They didn't see Bucky's new Audi in the driveway or in any surrounding ones, so off to Kates, it was.
"Hey!" Bucky shouted, seeing Kate and MJ cleaning up cups on the front lawn. Their eyes widened, knowing Kate's mom was out of town and had no idea about the party. "Shit." She cursed, walking up to Steve's truck. "What can I help you with Mr. Barnes?" She asked, attempting to slyly hide the bag of beer cups behind her back.
Bucky rolled his eyes, "I'm not here to bust you drinking." Kate visibly relaxed, listening to Bucky's frantic voice.
"Do you know where Y/n and Wanda went?" Kate shook her head, "All I know is that Y/n was mad at Loki and they left after Wilson and Carter got into it." "Wait what happened with Loki?!" Steve peeped around the two, looking at Steve. Kate shrugged, "Something about Sif." Steve was about to chime in again before Kate cut him off, "I know they said something about getting food after."
"Thank you," Bucky exclaimed, telling Steve to head toward town.
"Maybe they're sitting in a parking lot or even just hanging out with Pietro in one of the..." Steve trailed off, blue and red lights coming into view as they turned onto one of the backroads.
"Oh my god," Natasha whispered, looking at the scene.
"Stop the truck!" Bucky shouted, making Steve instantly brake. "That's the Audi!" Natasha cried, following after Bucky as he ran to the upsidedown car.
"Y/n?!" Natasha screamed, "Wanda?!" A police officer came up, placing a hand in front of Bucky's chest. "Sir, I need you to step back." Bucky shook his head, "I just need to check something!"
"I'm sorry but this is a private-" "Mr. Barnes!!" Bucky and Natasha looked behind the cop to see Wanda laid out on a stretcher, you on one right beside her with EMTs working on you.
"Oh my god!" Natasha attempted to get through only to be stopped by the same officer. "Ma'am." "That's my fucking daughter! Let me the hell through!" He immediately stepped back, seeing the anger coursing through Natasha's eyes.
"Y/n!!" Your dad shouted, making you groan and look over as much as you could with a neck brace on. "Dad.." Mumbling, you felt your hand being picked up by two hands.
Your vision was blurred but you could see both of your parents standing over you with worried expressions. "Hey babydoll," Bucky whispered, gripping onto your hand as your mom kissed your head.
"What's going on?" You questioned, your memory currently fuzzy.
"We need to get her to a hospital," A medic spoke up, "Now."
You closed your eyes once again, the bright emergency lights flashing over and over again suddenly too much to handle.
"Y/n?" Your mom spoke up, gathering your attention, "We're following you to the hospital okay?" You mumbled something unintelligible, not able to nod from the brace.
"We love you doll," Bucky spoke, tears streaming down his face as he looked at his daughter lying on a stretcher helplessly. You were so out of his you could only mutter a soft 'love you' before your hand was ripped from your parents, and you were raised into the ambulance.
Tumblr media
Bucky held Natasha, both of them watching you fall in and out of consciousness. They knew it wasn't good deep down. Bucky and Natasha had been on life-altering missions. Fighting aliens and terrorist groups that threatened the world. But this right here. In this second. Seeing their daughter being wheeled away with a footlong shard of glass protruding from her abdomen was more frightening than anything they'd ever faced.
"Come on." Steve softly pulled the two away from watching the ambulance speed away as they heard Wanda call for them.
The hospital had their daughter and now they had to focus on the girl who was basically their second kid.
"Hey," Natasha cooed, leaning down to Wanda's view, "it's gonna be okay."
Wanda shook her head, "It's not her fault. We weren't drinking, and she didn't see it! I promise it wasn't-" "Hey," Bucky crouched down, "We're not mad. All that matters is that you guys are okay."
Wanda stopped rambling, nodding.
"We'll call your parents and meet you at the hospital." Bucky and Natasha were about to walk away when Wanda grabbed her hand. "Please don't leave me." Natasha attempted a smile, tears still streaming down her face, "Of course not."
The widow turned, still holding onto her daughter's best friend as she looked to her husband. "I'll meet you at the hospital. Call Olek and Iryna." He acknowledged her, pressing a kiss to her lips before Nat followed Wanda into the second ambulance.
Suddenly the scene was empty. Yellow crime scene tape was wrapped around the Audi. All police and EMTs were gone. Bucky and Steve stood there, the night silence suddenly deafening.
"Let's go, Buck." Steve pulled his best friend to the truck, "I'll call Olek on the way."
But Bucky stood still, fighting the urge to crumple to the ground.
"I didn't even tell her I loved her."
"What?" Steve questioned, not understanding.
Bucky looked back to the blonde, "I didn't tell her I loved her before she left. And now I don't know if I ever will again."
Tumblr media
A/N: This is only my second fic on here but I'm willing to do a part two if that's something you guys would want!

Another ACUPOP prompt - Can we get a glimpse at either Kate or Anthony having to discipline Neddy? Is he just an extremely well-behaved boy? That worries me a bit because those are the kids who are plagued by perfectionism. I would love to see a moment of him feeling secure enough to push some boundaries with his parents, with some gentle guidance back.
I mean, generally, Neddy is a super well-behaved kid, and I think at least at first, Neddy would be super worried about pushing any boundaries, especially with Anthony who he doesn't know as well as his Mum.
But eventually, sure, he's a teenager, and he's going to try out different things, because that's what teenagers do.
And imagine the first time Neddy comes home from a party at 16 and he's a little bit tipsy.
"Mummy!"
Kate startled at the sound of her son's deep voice and the slam of the front door and she bit back a laugh already at the sound of his fumbling footsteps and the mutter of When did we get a coat stand? glancing at Anthony who chuckled lightly.
"I'm in here, Neddy." She called back, muttering to Anthony, "This should be interesting."
"There you are!" His eyes were a little unfocused and he slumped against the door of the living room, his hair sticking up in twenty different directions and he looked so much like Anthony had when they'd been young and stupid and hopping from bar to bar in fiji, newly married that she nearly did a double take.
"Hey, Sweetheart. How was the party?"
"And my Dad's here too!" Neddy crowed, "Look at my Dad!"
Anthony chuckled as Neddy stumbled towards them, flopping onto the sofa between them. "Look, it's my son."
"Did you, by any chance, have a few drinks tonight, Neddy?" Kate sighed, kissing his temple.
Neddy hummed, "I maybe had... one beer."
"One beer?" Anthony chuckled, "Sorry mate, you might be a lightweight."
"So maybe it was three?" He sighed, "But there was a girl there, and she was really pretty and I was nervous and I thought that would make it easier to talk to her, but it just made my head feel really fuzzy and I think I lost my wallet."
Kate's heart pounded for a moment, "How did you get home?"
"I think Dave drove me?" He said vaguely, "I dunno."
"Bed time, I think." Anthony said quickly, sensing Kate's panic, "Do you need me to help you up the stairs?"
Edmund sighed, "I think so. my legs don't work."
Anthony sighed and hauled his nearly six-foot son to a Standing position, half carrying him up the stairs and Kate tried not to think about it.
Edmund looked pale when he came downstairs the next morning, dark circles under his eyes and winced when Miles screeched Neddy! at the top of his lungs banging his fists on the counter.
"Hey, Milo."
Kate looked up at her son, sliding a glass of orange juice across the counter towards him followed by some painkillers. "Big night I hear."
Neddy flinched, staring down at the kitchen bench refusing to look at either Kate or Anthony beside him and it was that more than anything that made Kate's stomach churn.
"Sorry." He finally whispered, his shoulders heaving. "I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have been drinking and I know that this reflects really badly on you Dad and-"
"Neddy," Anthony said firmly, his hand on his son's shoulder. "Mum and I aren't upset about that, and I don't want you to ever make choices based on how you think ti reflects on me okay?"
Their son glanced furtively up at them, his brow furrowed, "But I was..."
"We're upset because we just want you to be safe." Kate cleared her throat, pushing down the panic, "You're a kid, and kids make mistakes and try things out and that's fine but you know, if you're in trouble: you can call either of us right? Or any of your aunts and uncles and we'll just come and get you."
Edmund nodded, letting out a sigh of relief before he winced again, "I really did lose my wallet though."
Kate rolled her eyes, "You didn't actually. I found it in the flowerpot out the front when I went to walk Newton this morning. I would like to discuss the condom you rolled onto the front gate though."
And it shouldn't have been so satisfying but when he spluttered and slipped off his stool: it really was very funny

I am very bored. Here's another snippet of my WIP, for anyone as bored/starved for content as me.
Tumblr media
August 2nd, 2019
“Look at them. They’re shameless.”
“I think the word you’re looking for is ‘oblivious.’”
“You're right. I would tell them to get a room, but they’d just waste it. They’d sit atop the king size mattress and play Go Fish.”
Daphne uses one hand to swat Benedict in the gut and the other to stifle her laugh. Her endeavour to remain somewhat quiet may be pointless, though. Colin and Penelope are within earshot, but appear too engrossed by their conversation to notice any one of the hundreds of party-goers passing by them. Still, Daphne grabs Benedict by the hinge of his elbow and pulls him away from the merrily unaware pair.
“How long until we’re attending their wedding, do you think?” he asks, once the two of them are out of view.
“Ooh — good quest—”
“Who’s wedding?” Anthony interrupts, seemingly appearing out of nowhere with his bride in hand.
“Colin and Penelope’s, of course,” Benedict replies, not-so-subtly wiggling his eyebrows.
“Ah.” Anthony sighs contemplatively, gently nodding his head. “Never.”
“Don’t be such a downer,” Benedict shoots back.
“I’m not, I —”
“Yes you are, love,” Kate interrupts, laughing lightly. “In case you forgot, there was a time when either one of us would have said the same about our wedding. And look where we are now.” With that, she briefly extricates her hand from his grasp to point at the massive white wedding around them.
“I fail to see your point, love.” Anthony laughs too, although it doesn’t succeed in covering up the hint of petulance rising in his voice. “We are nothing like them. We loathed each other, they’re just…” He cranes his neck to get a look at the duo in question; they are a few metres away, still talking closely by a bush of red roses. “Friends.”
“No offence, Anthony,” Daphne chimes in, “but you don’t have the best track record in seeing what’s right before your eyes.”
After muttering something unintelligible beneath his breath, Anthony forces a smile. “Could we please go back to discussing mine and Kate’s wedding — which in case you forgot, is real and is currently happening — instead of some made up, hypothetical, fantasy wedding that will never happen?”
“Who’s wedding will never happen?” Francesca asks, suddenly appearing from behind the growing group.
“Mine, obviously,” Eloise jests from right beside her. Kate offers a more useful answer.
“We’re placing bets on when Colin and Penelope’s wedding will be held.”
Without a moment of hesitation, Eloise scoffs and says, “Never.” When informed that Anthony already called “Never,” she updates her bet.
“Fine. A hundred years. Perhaps, then, he’ll be good enough for her.”
“What made you two so bitter?” Benedict asks. “I’ll say four years. Oh — Frannie, are you making a spreadsheet?”
“Of course.” She does not even look up from her phone, disappointed that her brother ever felt the need to ask a question with such an obvious answer; she's always in charge of the spreadsheet.
Simon is the next participant to appear out of the blue. After instinctively placing a hand on his wife's round belly, he smirks, turns to the rest of the group, and asks, “What is it that we are betting on?”
“Christ,” Anthony mutters. He points to Eloise. “You, go track down Gregory and Hyacinth and wrangle them over here. I’m not going through these parameters again.”
Once every Bridgerton sibling and spouse is gathered in a circle in the middle of the wedding hall (save for Colin, still blissfully unaware of the situation unfolding just a few metres away from him), they all agree to bet on the exact timing of this foregone conclusion.
“I say two years,” says Daphne. “One year to get together, another to get married.”
“I don’t know, babe.” Simon casts a glance over his shoulder to where Penelope and Colin still stand by the rose bushes. “They look even closer than they usually do at these sorts of functions — and that’s saying quite a lot. I could see them getting married within the year.”
“Oh, sweetheart.” Daphne chuckles so fully that she braces a hand on her husband’s shoulder. “No. No offence, but you are giving those two far too much credit. I fear even my bet was too optimistic.”
On the other side of the circle, Gregory clears his throat. “No, I see where Simon is coming from. Penelope looks quite pretty tonight — plus, love and marriage are in the air… Who knows? Maybe they’ll run off and get married tonight.”
When his answer is met with a chorus of boos and questions regarding his sanity, Gregory simply shrugs.
“Stranger things have happened. Put me down for tonight, Fran.”
“Fine. Your funeral.” After typing the last few digits, Francesca looks up from her phone and over to the bride. Smiling, she asks, “Are you ready to partake in your first official Bridgerton bet, Kate?”
“I would be honoured to,” she says, a smile lighting up her own face. For the first time since this discussion began, Anthony actually looks to be enjoying it; he places a kiss on his wife’s forehead as she considers the possibilities. “Unfortunately, I am not quite as optimistic as Daphne. I’ll say ten years from now — that’s how long it took for Anthony and I to figure things out and get married.”
Her response receives a few “awws” from the group, but Anthony looks at her skeptically. “Don’t forget that Colin and Penelope have known each other their entire lives,” he tells her. “By that logic, they would have gotten married during primary school.”
“Fine, then. Nine years from now, since they had such an ample head start.”
“Kate is on the right track,” Hyacinth chimes in from her spot beside Gregory. Before continuing, she plucks a sausage roll from his hand and plops it into her own mouth.
“Hey —”
“Those two are absolutely hopeless. I mean, look at them.” She raises her arm, indiscreetly pointing to the spot where Colin and Penelope still talk amongst the roses, still unaware of the bets currently being placed on their future wedding. “It’s unsettling, just how oblivious they are. They’ll continue on just as they are until one of us intervenes.”
“Get to the point, Hyacinth,” Gregory grumbles, guarding the rest of his sausage rolls from her carefully.
“Seven years. Once I graduate from uni, I’ll devote my time to selflessly ensuring that our brother finally figures his shit out.”
Although not intended as a joke, this earns her a few chuckles from the group. Not from Anthony (or Gregory), though.
“Don’t you think there could be a better use of your time following uni? A job, per—”
“Better than true love? I think not.” Before Anthony can protest any further, Hyacinth turns to the only Bridgerton who has yet to place her bet. “Frannie, what’s your pick?”
Looking up from her phone screen again, Francesca glances around the group with a conflicted look passing on her face. “Since I’m the one keeping bets, should I not act as a neutral observer?” When her question is met with a unanimous “No,” she places the final bet.
“Fine. Three and a half years.”
“What is going on here?”
Violet appears just behind Francesca. Her face is fixed with an expression that is quite familiar to the group — the one marked by a pleasant smile and panicked eyes. It’s the expression her children see at every social event that they happen to cause trouble at. In other words — it’s the look they’ve seen at least one time at every social event they’ve attended in the past twenty or so years.
“Nothing, mum,” Francesca says quickly, depositing her phone back into her purse as discreetly as she can manage.
“Just congratulating Kate and Anthony on hosting such a beautiful, drama-free wedding ceremony,” Benedict chimes in.
Violet’s face starts to relax into something a bit more naturally pleasant, obviously sharing the opinion. Not that she fully believes her children are not up to no good, but she’s willing to save herself the headache and not investigate their suspicious activity any further.
“Well, I suppose it’s fortunate that I found you all in one place. It’s time to gather in the garden for the family photos.” She scans the group around her, smile suddenly faltering. “Oh, dear — where’s Colin?”
Most of the group can’t help but keep in their smirks, giggles, and — in Eloise’s case — audible groans hidden. Before Violet can question their strange behaviour, though, Anthony steps forward. He places a reassuring hand on his mother's shoulder and tells her, “I spotted him loitering by the refreshment table a moment ago. I’ll grab him and meet you all outside.”
As soon as he turns on his heel, he spots them still standing beside those red roses. They’re standing even closer than they were a few minutes ago, leaning towards each other as Colin shows her something on his phone.
Walking towards them, Anthony doesn’t think much of their decreasing proximity. Or how his younger brother had been too engrossed in their conversation to notice the trouble brewing just a few metres away from him in the last fifteen minutes. Despite his siblings’ fun and games, he stands firm on his original conclusion.
They are friends. Why wouldn’t they be close?
But as Anthony closes the gap between himself and the aforementioned friends, he overhears the last few remnants of their conversation. The words cause him to stop dead in his tracks.

Lilies and Soap: 2 - Bane of My Existence
“The power you possess
And don't seem to even know
I bet it would hurt less
If you had mercy and let it show
Then I might have a defence
I might have a chance
Or a way to do penance
A way to escape this trance
I can’t escape, Darling
I don’t want to”
“Bane of My Existence” by Lilies and Soap.
Lyrics by A. E. Bridgerton.
"Yes, Tony. You seem to forget that we all took the same Applied Aural Skills courses at the RCM. You actually aren't special. Sorry if I’m the first person to tell you that. But, please, oh, please, explain it to me again. And use simple words, for I am but a woman."
Anthony's dramatic eye roll could put all pre-teens to shame. "Oh, come off it, Lamb–"
"Don't fucking call me that right now."
"Fine," Anthony chuckled.
"And don't fucking laugh at me!" Kate jabbed a finger directly into his chest and he smacked it away.
"Um, we're very much in public. Do they know that?" Eloise looked over to Benedict as their party of nine congregated outside of the train station in Pembrokeshire. "Isn't it your job to, like," she gestured vaguely, "sort them out?"
“Oh, I gave up on them two hours ago. And so did, I believe, literally everyone else on the train. But by all means, if you’d like to have a go, El, feel free to mediate. Godspeed."
"I think they're gonna kiss." Hyacinth seemed to be studying the scene with laser focus.
Eloise laughed. "Oh, yeah? How do you figure?" she asked, bemused.
"They fight the way people in films do right before they kiss. They have chemistry."
"Is that right? Chemistry? How old are you?"
Gregory shook his head. "They always fight like this and they never kiss. And Anthony goes on dates. He wouldn’t do that if he wanted to kiss Kate."
“One would think,” Benedict muttered under his breath.
"They should kiss, though," Hyacinth said with a sage air of authority.
"I think you're onto something, Hy." Benedict put his arm around his sister's shoulders. "I think life would be easier for all of us if they would just kiss."
The four were joined by Violet, Colin, and Francesca as they watched Anthony and Kate being too engrossed in their bickering to notice the excited teenager walking up to them.
"I'm sorry, are you guys Lilies and Soap?"
Kate whipped around and immediately neutralised her scowl. “Hi! Yes, we are. I’m Kate.” She held out her hand.
“Oh, I’m Mia!” Mia’s grin was so wide it looked like it hurt as she enthusiastically shook Kate’s hand.
“Mia, this,” Kate looked back and cut her eyes at Anthony, “is Anthony.”
Anthony’s smile was tight as he offered his hand, but it warmed as Mia shook it and told the pair about how much she loved their music.
"May I please have a picture?"
“Of course, love.” Kate guided Mia to stand in between them. After Mia took a selfie, Colin jogged up to them and offered to take another photo for her.
Mia gushed a little more before giving Kate and Anthony both hugs and going on her way. As they watched her leave, Anthony whispered something to Kate and she turned to him and growled, “Why can’t you let this go?! We were having a nice moment.”
“Because we weren’t done talking.”
“I was done.”
“That’s not how conversations work, Kate.”
“That’s actually exactly how they work, Anthony.”
“Jesus Christ, who invited Anthony?” Colin asked no one in particular.
“Do you mean Kate, Dear?”
“No.”
Two shuttles pulled up to take the Bridgertons to their holiday rental.
“I am not sharing a van with those two,” Eloise declared.
“Well, I’m certainly not. I’ve had to sit next to them all day. Make the kids ride with them.” Benedict offered.
“I don’t think I want to be there when they kiss.”
“They aren’t going to kiss, Hy!”
"Honestly,” Francesca finally spoke up, “the rest of us could all fit in one and leave them alone in the other."
Everyone looked at each other before Benedict kissed Francesca hard on the cheek. “Franny, you absolutely star! Hurry, let’s go before they notice.”
Anthony looked back at Kate as they silently moved through the streets of Pembrokeshire towards Haverfordwest. She was writing furiously in one of her notebooks. The pen moving rapidly across the paper was the only sound in the van besides the rumble of the engine and the various sounds of the towns they passed.
Anthony moved to sit in the back of the van with her. “Writing about me, are you?”
Kate’s only response was a glower in his direction before returning to her notes.
Anthony was shameless. He subtly tried to angle his body so he could see what she was writing. The only clear phrase he could make out was, “breaking me down so I can collect the pieces and give them right back to you,” before he felt guilty and looked away. That couldn’t possibly be about him. Their stupid fights could never warrant that kind of imagery.
The second shuttle wasn’t that far behind the first, but when Kate and Anthony entered the house they would be staying in for the next four nights, they were annoyed to find all the rooms had been claimed except for the two that were furthest away from all the others.
“Well, I guess we deserve that.” Kate said, her voice and face impassive.
“Go ahead and pick which one you want,” Anthony said, but Kate was already down the hall to do just that.
After everyone settled in and had a makeshift, “every man for himself” style dinner, Kate and Anthony went out with Benedict and Colin to the closest pub. Mercifully, Benedict and Colin had stopped avoiding them, so they had more to do than not speak to each other. The mood had mellowed and when his brothers went back to the bar for another round of drinks, Anthony went to the jukebox and queued up two songs. He walked back over to Kate’s side of the booth and offered his hand. Kate looked up at him.
“Dance with me, Lamb?”
Kate gave him a small, sweet smile before grabbing his hand and letting herself be led to the small dancefloor.
Bill Withers’s “Ain’t No Sunshine” began to play and Kate shook her head and smiled.
“Damn you,” she whispered as she slid an arm around his neck and Anthony placed one of his against the middle of her back. They swayed to one of her all time favourite songs for a while before Anthony spoke.
“Why do we do this?”
Kate looked up at him with wide eyes. “Do what?”
“The asinine squabbling.”
“Oh. I think it’s only asinine on one side.”
“Lamb.”
“Fine, sorry. I don’t know. We get going on something that doesn’t matter and it just becomes…”
“It somehow becomes the only thing that matters.”
Kate nodded as she chuckled. “Yeah. It’s weird. But… I don’t know, I kind of like it? I may find it just a little enjoyable and no one else can get under my skin quite the way you do, so unfortunately, you will forever be my sparring partner, I’m afraid. Until you find someone you want to keep and she demands we stop under penalty of leaving you.”
“Someone I want to keep?”
“I know you, Tony. You may date around, but you want to settle down. You know, commit to someone and have the house and the babies and the domestic bliss, and all that.”
“Yeah, I guess I do. You don’t?”
“I’m… not sure yet. Give it a go and let me know how you like it.”
“Right,” Anthony whispered.
They didn’t say much after that. Kate once again was pleasantly surprised when another one of her favourites came on next, Pete Yorn’s cover of “Ever Fallen in Love.”
Tumblr media
“No fucking way.” Kate looked horror stricken as she and Anthony were perusing an outdoor market in Haverfordwest the next day and she paused in the middle of a walkway. Anthony pulled her aside with concern as he looked in the same direction, following Kate's gaze to an older couple.
“Who’s that?”
“Mum’s parents.”
“No fucking way.”
“That’s what I said. Of all the fucking places.”
Anthony pulled Kate close to him. She couldn’t look away.
“When was the last time you saw them?”
“I don’t know, maybe eight years? Yeah, it was right after Appa died. They didn't even go to the funeral, but they sure as hell descended upon our house a week later with the intent to scoop Edwina up and send her to a boarding school they had selected for her. They barely said anything to Mum, just made their demands and expected Edwina to leave with them that same day. They ignored Amma completely, which you know didn’t go ever well. She was actually the one to kick them out of Mary’s house.” Kate laughed a little, but still looked nervous. “Fuck, I made eye contact. Quick let’s–”
“Katherine?”
Kate swore.
“You must be mistaking me for someone else,” she said as she peered at the woman who wore a pinched expression that seemed to be permanent.
“Oh, right, no, it’s… Kathani. Right, of course. Lovely name.”
“Right. Kate’s still fine.”
Mrs. Sheffield looked up to Anthony. “And you must be Kate’s… associate in this, er, little music project I hear she has going on?”
“Yep,” Anthony offered his hand to her and then her disinterested husband. “Anthony Bridgerton.”
“Lady Amala Sheffield, and this is my husband, Earl Lucius Sheffield.”
Kate rolled her eyes and swore again under her breath.
“A pleasure, I’m sure.” Anthony gave them a smile that Kate knew was false as hell, but she didn’t blame him. Who could genuinely smile at the Sheffields?
"So, you heard about my…'little project?' Big into the indie music scene, are you?"
"Heavens, no. A friend told me his niece was telling him how fond she was of you, actually. Anyway, enough about that. Tell me, dear, how on earth did you find yourself here?”
“In Pembrokeshire? I’m on holiday with the Bridgertons.”
“Ah, that makes sense. How charitable of them to let you tag along on what I assume was meant to be a family holiday.”
“Amala…” Lucius warned, looking desperate to move on from this interaction.
“Kate is family.” Anthony said matter-of-factly, pulling her closer to him.
‘Well, how wonderful for Kate. Anyway, we really must get going. Lovely to see you.”
“Yes, maybe you’ll happen upon one of us again in another eight years.”
With that, Kate brusquely rushed past them, Anthony following close behind. Her pace was swift as she navigated through the crowds. “The dickheads didn’t even mention their own fucking daughter or grandchild. What the fuck?”
“Do you want to leave?” Anthony asked.
“No. Fuck them. I just need to sit down for a little bit.”
They found a bench and sat down. Anthony rubbed a hand up and down Kate’s arm.
“Are you going to tell your family you saw them?”
Kate thought for a moment. “No. No, there’s no point. It’ll just upset Mum and Edwina. And Amma will have too much to say about it.”
Anthony nodded. After a few beats, he said, “We should change our band name.”
“You think? To what?”
“Little Music Project Associates, obviously. Lady Sheffield has given us a gift.”

Standard Disclaimer: I only own my original characters, I've done some research but there will likely be Navy/military inaccuracies, and I do not consent to the posting, translating, or publishing of my work to any 3rd party site, the only place it may be found is on tumblr and Wattpad under @.itswildflower
A/N: This story is heavily inspired by the hallmark movie of the same title and is very self-indulgent. I'm also trying a different format than I'm used to using so it may change in the future chapters.
Looking for the next chapter? U.S.S. Christmas Masterlist
Summary:  She’s on her way to a Christmas ball to meet her brother Jackson, a fighter pilot in the Navy. There, she spots a certain blonde, tall drink of water with gold wings clad in full dress uniform waiting at the bar.
Chapter 1: The Christmas Ball
“Oh, my. I feel like I should be standing at attention,” Kayleigh whispered to her brother.
“Relax, Kate. Even the most disciplined sailors know how to have fun. You just wait until this dance floor fills up. I'll go get our table number.”
Kate took a deep breath. “Okay. I'll get drinks,” she told him before walking over to the open bar.
“Hi. A red wine and a whiskey neat, please,” she ordered. The bartender got to work quickly and was handing them to her within a minute. “Thank you so much,” she handed him a 5-dollar tip before taking them and turning around only to run smack into a woman wearing white, effectively spilling her red wine over the white fabric.
“I'm so sorry!” she gasped, turning and setting the drinks down and picking up a towel to hand to the woman.
“We have literally been here for three minutes,” the woman complained.
“I- i-i-i-i'm… I'm gonna get your dress dry-cleaned. Actually, you know what? I'm gonna go get you a new dress. I'm gonna actually go to the mall right now,” Kate rambled on.
“I finally found a flattering white dress… Of course, this happens,” the woman mutters.
“I'm so sorry. I feel terrible,” she apologizes. “It's... fine. Accidents happen. If you'll excuse me, I am headed to the restroom.”
The woman leaves, leaving Kate with the handsome stranger.
“I'm so sorry,” she apologizes again.
“Red wine, the enemy of flattering white dresses everywhere,” the handsome blonde quipped.
“Yeah. It's a fashion emergency if I've ever seen one,” Kate muttered embarrassed.
“She'll survive. Although you might want to have your date grab your drinks for you next time,” he suggested.
“Oh, no, I'm not…” she trailed off when another man patted the handsome blonde on the shoulder.
“Hangman! Long time no see, buddy.” The two men speak for a moment.
“I better get back to my date,” Kate tells the man. “It was nice meeting you,” he tells her before she walks off.
“Kate! Over here,” her brother calls out, standing with a familiar face.
“Merry Christmas! It's so good to see you again,” the older man greeted and opened his arms for a hug.
“It's good to see you too, Captain Kerner,” Kate hugged him.
“No, no, no, you're a civilian. No formalities. It’s Ron or Slider... I cannot believe how grown up you are, I haven't seen you since your Dad's funeral.”
Kate nodded. “Yeah. You gave such a beautiful speech, sir.”
“Thank you. Sam was one of the finest RIOs and a great wingman out at sea,” he complimented.
“Yeah, he was the best,” Jackson chimed in.
“He would have been proud of you two. Your stories in the paper, Kate, and, of course, you following in his footsteps on the Polaris, Jackson,” Ron told them.
“It's my honor to serve, sir,” Jackson smiled.
“It's a shame, however, that you didn't sign up for the Christmas tiger cruise along with your mom this year. You could have seen your brother in action,” Ron told Kate.
“I just have so much work right now. Big stories percolating,” she countered.
“A chance to watch Jackson launch a $65 million jet off the deck of a carrier, why, that's a big story,” Ron laughed. “Not to mention we're gonna make a stop in New York City this year,” he added after a pause.
“Isn't it too late, sir? The cruise leaves Norfolk day after tomorrow,” Jackson asked.
“We carry 6,000 people on the ship. I think we can find an extra bunk for Kate,” Ron patted him on the back.
“Kate?” he asks.
“Well, thank you, really, for the offer, but it's just so last-minute with Christmas being ten days away,” She tells the older man.
“Well, the offer is there if you change your mind,” Ron told her with a smile.
“Sir!” A younger service member approached them. “Ah, yes. If you'll excuse me? It was great catching up.”
“You know Captain Kerner is my boss, right?” Jackson muttered to Kate as the older man walked away. “Like, my big boss?” he stressed.
“Yeah, I know. I'm not interested in going on a tiger cruise, okay? I didn't want to go when we were little, I don't really want to go now,” she told him.
“I get it. Now, the more important question is, where are those drinks?” he asked her.
“Oh, um…” Kate trailed off.
“Isn't that your shawl?” Jackson asks, his eyes following the woman she had spilled wine on. Kate nodded. “Who is that, anyway?” He looked at his sister.
“I don't know. I had a little bit of an accident at the bar. Some guy actually told me to have my date get the drinks next time,” she tells him, hanging her head in embarrassment.
“From the looks of that woman's dress, maybe you should have got the Merlot?” Jackson teased.
“Affirmative,” Kate sighed.
“Come on,” Jackson offered her an arm and led her to the table where they caught up on each other's lives.
“Oh, it's Jenny. I'm gonna grab this,” Jackson told her, grabbing his phone and standing.
Kate nodded and yawned. “I know the military can be stiff… But are we really that boring?” Hangman, the handsome stranger from earlier approached.
“Sorry, it's just… It's been a long day,” Kate tells him.
“There's your shawl. Solo again?” he asks as she takes the shawl from him.
“Thank you. What about you? Is your date okay?” Kate asks.
“She's a little traumatized.”
Kate’s cheeks flushed. “Seriously?” she lamented.
“She likes things to be… Just right,” he told her.
“Oh. A good match for you, then.”
Hangman raised a brow. “Based on...?” he questioned.
“I just know most military officers are meticulous,” Kate told him.
“I can be pretty easygoing. Spontaneous, even,” he countered.
“There you are. Your tie's a little crooked, Jake,” the woman in white came up to him and fiddled with his tie. The lieutenant mouths sorry to Kate before being led away by his date.
“Is Jenny okay?” Kate asked when Jackson returned to the table.
“She's good. She'll be back tomorrow. Look, I'm real glad you came with me tonight,” he told her.
“Me too,” Kate smiled.
“Ladies and gentlemen, excuse me. May I have your attention, please? The captain would like to say a few words.”
Ron steps forward. “Thank you, Commander. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Captain Ron Kerner, skipper of the USS Polaris, and I want to wish you all happy holidays and thank you for coming to the Navy Christmas ball. Now, as you know, while the Navy is not about self, but country, I look around this room tonight and I see so many fine men and women who make incredible sacrifices for this nation every day. And I'm not just talking about the sailors, but those who love them, as well. My apologies… I know we're not an easy bunch. And I can't wait to host your families on the Christmas tiger cruise. It's always exciting to me when they get to see what an incredible job you do on the ship. So during this holiday season, be thankful for family and for this fine country. Raise your glasses in a toast. To the Navy!” he cheered.
“To the Navy!” Everyone repeated.
“Merry Christmas,” he finished before the music began once more.

Note
Just read your romcom Bridgerton post and holy cow they all seem very spot on. I laughed when I saw Polin in the Made of Honor au. How would the plot of that go (I'd be curious to see which Scotsman Penelope fell for).
Oh a polin made of honor au would be very fun.
But just note that I detest love triangles where the 3rd person gets hurt so that's why in this au our handsome Scotman is Phillip and not Michael. But if you're a person who doesn't mind that the 2nd male lead who is genuinely inlove with heroine and gets his heart unceremoniously broken at his own wedding. Then you should definitely make Michael the guy Penelope is marrying.
Now back to the au
Colin enjoying his life man whoring around for 8 years and trusting that Penelope is only his bestest of friends. Penelope who long gave up on the idea of being more than friends having a buisness trip to Scotland for two months which make Colin realize he literally can't live without her, and wants to date her.
And then when she comes back, just as he's about to tell her he finally figured himself out she... Introduces him to the guy next to her
"Colin, this is Phillip" she points to the most handsome scotman ever "my fiance"
"Phillip I want you to meet Colin, my best friend"
Cue Phillip Crane the husband of every girl dreams introducing himself as Penelope's fiance. Yup, apparently Penelope and Phillip are intellectual soulmates who met at some literary symposium for writers. He writes about plants she writes about people. They're both introverts, they both like the same music and hate the same food. They prefer mountains over cities, would rather read than go to parties, Phillip is practically Penelope in a different font.
And he's convinced that Penelope is the perfect woman for him. So he proposed. Penelope is riding the high of having a handsome smart man so interested in her so she's obviously daydreaming that they'll be happy together.
And she asks Colin to be her maid of honor. Since Eloise refuses to be part of what she calls 'the consumerism of the wedding industry' and would rather ride the wedding wave as a regular bridesmaid with Penelope's sisters.
Enter jealous Colin trying to ruin Penelope's wedding, the Featheringtons + sister husbands (all of them) being over the top, the Cranes being over the top (Phillip's elderly parents, grandparents, maiden aunt, brother, sister in law, and their kids). Colin having to enlist his brothers for help sabotaging Penelope's wedding. Bachelors Benedict and Anthony giving him bad advice that always makes things worse
And of course since Penelope and Phillip's schedule never aligns, Colin goes with Penelope to pick out her wedding dress, wedding lingerie (to sleep with another man! This is torture, pure torture), he picks out the cake with her, the venue, the favors, he helps her write his wedding vows. It's like he's planning his own wedding with her.
But everytime Colin is about to confess his feelings. Someone interrupts or Penelope herself brings up how much Phillip will love everything Colin picked. Because her fiance is so much like her remember. Phillip likes everything Penelope likes.
Colin becomes even more determined to sabotage the wedding and even organizes the most disastrous bachelorette party.
Meanwhile her bridesmaids are having the time of their lives hating him (okay so maybe he did stand up Genevieve for a date, but that was one time he didn't know she was Pen's friend) and watching him make a fool out of himself (Eloise, Kate and Felicity stop laughing dammit)
In the end Colin gets himself banned from the wedding and does this grand gesture where he runs to the chapel to confess his feelings because he can't watch her marry that man. He gives all this heartfelt speech and Penelope can't take it anymore and confesses her feelings too
After Penelope tells Phillip that she can't marry him when she really loves Colin and runs out of the chapel with him. I like to think that the fiance gets a happier less heartbreaking ending in this au. Sort of like the end of Enchanted.
With an after credits scene where Eloise is trying to comfort Phillip with a 'you were just not right for each other, you're too much alike, it's all right Phillip' which turns into an impulsive 'You know what, we can't let all this money my brother spent on the consumerist wedding industry go to waste'
'The situation is kinda hard to fix, unless you want to marry me right now'
'Sure, I'll marry you'
And Phillip goes like 'Really you'd marry a man like me?'
'Yeah what have I got to lose'
'then let's do it'
And the story ends there. With all signs pointing to a sequel that follows the plot of another favorite chaotic rom com of mine 'Wedding Daze'
An: I still think that Penelope's fiance should be Michael, but I feel like in any au if Michael Stirling was serious about liking her, then Penelope would actually fall inlove and ditch Colin
So don't hate me too much for picking the man she's most incompatible with as her fiance.

"You know, I gotta be really honest with you, girls..."
The three of them were at the back of an ambulance, this was the first time they spoke after Kate told them she'd handed her own mother to the police.
"It doesn't happen too often, but every once in a while, you come across somebody that just makes you better in every way... And that Missy, boy— she just outdid herself with the suit, right? The elasticity in this fabric..."
Kate laughed. "Okay, you can stop..."
"I know tonight was a lot," he continued, "you took on Kingpin all by yourselves— and you got him arrested. Not many people walk away from somethin' like that... And I'm so proud of you."
Kate squeezed his hand. "Thank you."
"I honestly wasn't that good, I..." Kate was looking at her, and she stopped before saying the self-deprecating comment. "I'm glad I could be of help. Your family needs you, Clint."
He looked between them with a little smile, realizing what'd happened. "You know what? We gotta walk that dog."
"Yeah, we do," Kate stood. "Let me make sure Jack's okay— I mean I'm sure he will be, he has a penthouse but..."
"We'll wait here," Cat assured her.
Her eyes stayed on the girl until she felt Clint's. "Argh, just spit it out. I can't stand you when you get cheeky."
"You don't like it when others have ways to mess with you," he smirked. "You are a flirt."
"My heart has plenty of room and people keep begging to get some, who am I to deny them?" She innocently.
Clint shook his head. "Kate's not your regular superhero. She's just a girl with a cool suit."
"So?"
"You know what I mean."
Cat looked around at the mess they'd caused, she smiled, lost in thought.
"Steve said something to me when he came back old... never forget that you had a family... I thought he was telling me that I had to honor them, but he was telling me that no matter what, I'll always have them in me."
"Yeah, that sounds like him," Clint sighed heavily. "Been a rough couple of years for ya, huh? But that look on your face..."
She pushed him playfully. "Don't get sappy, we're not that close."
"You're not fooling anyone," he chuckled. "We've always been buddies..."
Cat's eyes found Kate again, she was telling Jack goodbye, and the moment he left she looked terribly lonely.
"Hey, considering we crashed the Bishop's party... don't you think she should have the chance to crash yours?"
Tumblr media
Barton's family treated her like she was one of them. They knew her name and knew what she liked to eat and not to use flash when taking pictures, the children had really good memories.
She got a text from Harley and Happy, both spending the Holidays with their respective loved ones (Happy was with Morgan and Pepper). Kurt sent her a picture from New Asgard: he was in the middle of a large table surrounded by different beings, and King Valkyrie was at the end with a charming smirk.
Cat walked out of the house staring at Matthew's contact. They hadn't talked in months, but she wasn't well-versed in break-up etiquette, and she didn't know what to do. Cat regretted the way things ended, she wanted to make sure he was okay.
"No reception?"
The mutant almost dropped her phone. "Shi— I was— er, thinking... I just... well, I was... never mind."
Kate's smirked. "Who were you texting, Cat?"
"You know what, you coming out here at this moment is a sign. I'll let it go."
"Is this about that ex-boyfriend Yelena mentioned when she came to my apartment?"
She groaned. "Yeah. I keep thinking that if I hadn't said yes to that one gig, I'd be celebrating Christmas with him and his friends... but I'm not regretting it much, if I'm honest, and that makes me feel even more guilty."
Kate gave a step forward. "You're not?"
"You and Clint helped me realize a few things, and I got the closure I didn't know I needed. You did that," she pointed before stepping closer to her. "I did most of it, but you were there."
Kate crossed her arms. "Well, if getting the beating of my life helped you realize your worth, I'd gladly go through it again."
Cat tilted her head, and a deja vu came to her, of something similar a long time ago, yet she couldn't place it.
"You're sweet," she concluded. "You have a place to stay after Christmas?"
"No."
"You can stay with me."
Kate opened her mouth, then closed it, then opened it again. "You're serious?"
"Yeah."
"But you were about to text your ex!"
Cat looked at her phone and put it in her pocket. "That has nothing to do with what I asked, and I don't even know what you're talking about. Who does that?"
"Many people," Kate said bluntly. "Everyone. At least once in their life."
"Really?" Cat asked in surprise. "I've never gotten back together with anyone."
"No?"
"Well, I've only dated once. I hooked up with my best friend and never did it again," she squinted. "Okay, two times, but it wasn't like we were in love or anything—"
"Okay, Clint wasn't wrong when he said you were a flirt."
"That a turn-off for you?"
Kate pondered. "It makes you cuter, somehow. How do you do that?"
"Maybe I'm just hot."
"Maybe."
"Have you tried covering one half of my face to see if you like me or if it's just that I have pretty eyes?"
"What do you mean?"
"Yeah like those tiktoks, you know, 'Is he handsome or just white?'"
"Hang on," Kate reached for Cat's face and covered her eyes. "Hmmm they are distracting, I mean they're purple, but you also have a great smile..."
Cat giggled, trying to move her hand away.
"Say something weird, c'mon," Kate teased her. "Tell me more about your hookups—"
She laughed, seizing her wrist. Kate was standing really close, and when they locked eyes, a thrilling goosebump ran up Cat's spine causing the tip of her fingers to tingle. Their breaths rose in soft, white puffs, and Kate's cheeks flushed.
"Kate," she marveled at the way the archer's eyes mirrored the snow. "Remember how I said I'm not a good partner?"
"Yeah," the girl replied just as quietly.
"I wasn't lying," Cat's gaze landed on her lips. "But I'm really good in bed."
The archer's face turned scarlet, and she burst into cackles, moving away from Cat.
"You did not just say that! Oh my God!"
"Too forward?" Cat was laughing too. "Okay, well, you didn't let me finish!"
"I'm listening," Kate replied, struggling to keep a straight face.
"I know you like me and you know I like you, but I don't think it's a good idea to try anything serious, at least for a while. I'm not made for forever."
"That's alright with me," Kate agreed, shrugging a little. She laughed again, it was a beautiful sound. "You're amazing."
"You're pretty cool too," she smirked. "So you'll stay in my apartment?"
"Okay."
"Really?"
"I have to confirm if you're telling the truth. About being good in bed."
Cat was grinning from ear to ear. "You done making fun of me?"
"I'm not making fun of you!"
"You are."
"You say crazy things with a straight face and it catches me off guard—"
Cat put an arm around Kate's shoulders and turned her around, guiding her back to Clint's house.
"You have to get used to that, princess, 'cause I don't know how to stop," she said.
"At least I hope it never stops being funny," the archer said, walking beside her and wrapping her own arm around Cat's waist.
"Oh, I've always been hilarious, you don't have to worry about that."
Kate nodded briefly and sighed happily. Cat felt warm against her, she couldn't remember the last time she'd felt this young.

Obey Me- You Want to Make A Pact With Me
Kate walked inside the library and saw the door to the hidden office open and heard the music coming from within. She approached and entered the entryway before knocking on the door to the office.
"The door's open," the deep voice of the eldest answered.
She opened the door and saw Lucifer sitting in one of the armchairs, a glass of Demonus on the side table. She stepped inside as he spoke, "it sounds like quite the party up in the attic. And thanks to the fact that everyone else is busy up there, I get to stay here and enjoy my music in peace."
"What are you listening to?"
"The cursed vinyl edition of The Tale of The Seven Lords soundtrack, which you managed to borrow from Levi for me."
Her brows knitted in worry. "Wouldn't I die listening to that?"
"I see you haven't forgotten the story behind it. It's true that all humans involved in its creation died mysteriously, but that was nothing more than a coincidence. And even if the soundtrack really was cursed, look at who you're got by your side right now. You're standing here chatting with one of the most powerful demon in the Devildom. So you don't have anything to worry about, now do you?"
She smiled and nodded, watching him pick up his glass and take a sip of the liquor before gesturing towards her to take a seat. She moved closer to the armchair and sat down in the firm seat, her legs crossing over each other and her hands resting on her knees, her eyes on Lucifer.
His leg rested on the other and his gaze locked on the office itself, speaking, "it was in this very room that I selected you for our exchange program. When I first welcomed you here, I was only doing it for Diavolo." His gaze focused on her. "I figured that if you managed to survive a year here without any incidents, that was really all I could ask for. And even if things didn't go as planned, as long as I could keep you from getting eaten by any of the lower-level demons, everything would be all right. That's what I thought."
He placed his elbow on his knee with his jaw on top of his fist, looking a bit sly. "But I somehow managed to choose a human who's such a magnet for trouble that it almost defies belief, wouldn't you say? There were times I thought that I'd made a mistake by choosing you."
"Rude." He chuckled at her response and straighten up, his arm falling on his lap.
"But I know I made the right choice selecting you for the program. You've kept me quite entertained over the past year. In fact, it's probably the MOST entertained I've been in my whole life."
"That's sad." His eyes glared at her, a smirk slightly on his face.
"So then, Kate-" he twirled the liquor in his glass- "have you done all you set out to do here in the Devildom? No unfinished business? No loose ends?"
"Yeah, I think I got everything."
"Are you sure? There's nothing you forget to do?"
"Why? Do you have unfinished business with me?" She jokingly commented with a smile.
"What makes you say that?" His expression was smug, but his eyes held seriousness.
She looked away as she spoke, "well, judging from your tone of voice, it sounds like you do."
"And what business do I have with you?"
"I don't know-" she turned towards him- "unless you tell me." Unfounded confidence fueled her and slowly matched his smug attitude.
He emptily stared at her, acting like he was searching for something, or maybe he was thinking about what to say next. He chuckled to himself and placed his glass the side table, leaning back and crossing his arms.
"You know, I never imagined to see a human forging pacts with all six of my brothers in three months. It's impressive."
"Which makes you the only one without a pact with me-" she gave a noticing smirk- "is that what you're after?"
He frowned at the question, his eyes seemed focus as he asked, "what makes you think I want to make a pact with you?"
She looked away, ignoring his question. "It's up to you if we make a pact or not." She gestured with her hand. "Like what I did with your brothers-" then turned her gaze back towards him, smugness on her face- "the decision is yours to make."
He stared blankly at her, not speaking a word or moving a muscle, his brows knitted in an almost intense expression. She leaned against the chair and glanced up at the ceiling. "I can tell everyone I asked for the pact if it makes you feel better."
He huffed at the comment and got up from his chair, standing in front of her and watching her sit up straight. "Listen well, Katelynn. I will not be your possession-"
"Never said you were." He leaned down towards her.
"I will not belong to you. You will belong to me."
"Whatever makes you feel better, Lucifer." He glared at her, but soon smirked.
"I've always found this aspect of you irritating. But as irritating as it is, it's more endearing."
He cupped her cheek and brought their foreheads together, closing their eyes as he spoke in his demonic tongue. She felt the sigil appearing on the below the back of her neck. Lucifer pulled away and could feel the hint of pride in her, smirking at himself at sensing it.
"I assume that takes care of all your loose ends?" Kate's eyes opened and looked up at him.
"There's one more thing."
"Hm? There is?" She stood up and hugged him, wrapping her arms around his chest and pressing her cheek against his shoulder, smiling happily.
He chuckled and wrapped an arm around her back and held the back of her head with his other hand, leaning his head on her shoulder. They stayed like that for a few seconds when he spoke, "do you feel the same way about my brothers as you do about me? Are we all equal to you?" She paused at his words, her smile turning into a frown as he continued, "or is there one of us who stands out... who's spe-"
He stopped himself before speaking again, "never mind. Why don't we talk about something else?" He pulled away from the hug. "This is good enough for now." He ruffed her hair and turned back to his seat.
She sat back down with heaviness on her chest, guilt.

part 1  part 3
Tumblr media
You spent the rest of the morning avoiding Kate’s text messages after she dragged you to that hell hole Aka where Wanda Maximoff resides, after your 8 am class you settled on sitting in the lounge going over your notes. even now it seemed like nobody would shut up about Tony's party tonight. Maybe you’re just cranky for being forced to get up at the ass crack of dawn for Kate. You barely went to parties maybe that's why Kate was pushing you to go to this one. You just weren't in the mood to party or be around that environment. Tony's party is on another level from any regular college party you would have to mentally prepare for it. you're brought out of your thoughts at the sudden movement of a body sitting next to you brushing your shoulder in the process. you turn to the figure that interrupted your thoughts just to be met with the person you were trying so hard to avoid.
"Kate, I'm not in the mood, okay? the answer is still no"
"Oh, come on why won't you just go with me, pleaseee?"
"Why do you want me to go so badly?"
"For one you've been too focused on schoolwork, and I just want to have fun with my friend at a stark party. come onnn we can get wasted together ya know for memories and stuff" you said you wouldn’t fall victim to her adorable puppy eyes, but it looks like you’re losing this battle
you roll your eyes "I'll think about it"
"Well, that's a step forward from a flat out no"
"Thats all you get for now, take it or leave it"
"I'll take it!" she leaps forward locking you in a tight bear hug, seriously what was so special about this party? "I have to get to class but I'll see you later?" she stands from the chair and gathers her bag. waiting for your reply
"Maybe, maybe not"
"You're very difficult you know that?"
you shrug in return, and gather you own things after a while. You skipped a proper breakfast this morning so head to the coffee shop for your favorite pastry. you were also supposed to meet someone here why not settle in early. before you can grab the door handle you feel a hand on your arm. what was with people today and touching you? only this time the hand that touched you made you want to forget about the muffin and starve a little longer until you got back to your dorm room.
"Good morning, beautiful" her eyes lowly hooded with a shade raging crimson. she must've had her morning smoke session and was in need of a snack. she circles you like a shark does its prey in the ocean, Standing between you and your destination. you don't greet her; you try and ultimately fail at maneuvering around her to finally get inside the coffee shop.
"You're not gonna speak to me? that's not very nice. I thought you had good manners" she pouts
"Hi" you keep the greeting short and dry "Now are you gonna move?"
She leans forward bringing her voice just above a whisper "We're gonna have to work on your manners baby, but I'll allow it this time”
You ignore the chills running down your spine caused by her calling you 'baby'. "Whatever" you move around her and before you can reach the door again, she beats you to it. smacking your hand away from the handle
“I got it, after you my love" she gives you a dopey smile and bites her lip as you stare at her for a moment and make you way through the door.
before you make it to the counter you notice the worker that normally serves you sending you a wide Colgate smile "Hey Y/n, you want your usual?"
"Yes, please" you mirror the smile she sent you in greeting
"Oh, so you do have manners just not for me?" she startled you, why was she still near you? would she even be coming in here if she didn't see you at the door? you ignore her as you wait for your order. Finding the menu board more interesting than ever before.
Wanda's curious about you, about what you like, what you dislike. she wants to know you. "What's your usual?" she's met with silence. you turn to face her when she's already looking at you, her eyes never left you. “I said-” before Wanda gets the chance to finish, your name is being called by the barista as she’s holding your order up.
She’s waving her hand eagerly "Y/n, I got you all set " You swiftly move away from Wanda and what seemed like was heading to an intense moment. You’ll have to find a way to repay her for saving you.
"Thank you, Carmen" you give her a smile as you reach for your debit card. you're stopped by Wanda when she places her debit card on the counter instead. honestly, you’re surprised she even has a debit card she looks more like a cash only type of person.
"Put your card away baby, it’s my treat" she sends you a wink and turns back to the barista
"Don't worry about it, it's on the house" Carmen slides Wanda's card back across the counter and focuses on you not sparing Wanda a glance as she does the action.
She's never given you anything on the house before. what was so different today? "Really?" your shocked expression makes her giggle a bit
"Yeah, looks like you’re having a rough day” her eyes briefly land on Wanda. “I’m just trying to make it better" Wanda doesn't like this Carmen person. The way she’s talking to you, how she's looking at you, and how she barely could do her job, Carmen didn’t even ask Wanda about her order yet. she wonders if the person in charge of this place would like to hear about employees giving free things away.
"So does everyone get something on the house, or does it only apply to printcessa over here?" Wanda asks with a tilt of her head and narrowed eyes. she’s silently threating her with just one look. "I'll take a blueberry muffin, actually make that two, on the house of course" she gives the girl a smug look. Wanda thought it was only fair she got something free out of this as well if she couldn't pay for your food.
“Uh, yeah” Carmen moves to gather the muffins and places them inside a bag. while her back is turned, you pinch Wanda's shoulder.
"Ouch! what was that for?" Turning her body to face you while she rubs her shoulder
You give her a stern look like a mother would a troubled toddler "You're an asshole, why would you do that? she was just being nice”
"Yeah, being nice. Not flirting with coffee and free baked goods at all" she rolls her eyes. and you scuff grabbing your items off the counter and finding an empty table to sit at.
you have a small moment of peace as you eat your muffin and drink your coffee until the chair across from you is being scrapped across the floor. Wanda. “You know I wouldn’t mind if you pinched me again, preferably my nipples but I’m down for other places too” she wiggles her eyebrows at you.
"Don't you have something better to do other than stalk me Maximoff?" she thinks for a moment. “Nope, and even if I did anything involving you would be much more interesting"
she studies you for a moment, just the way you do small simple things like taking pieces of your muffin apart instead of just biting into it has her stomach filled with butterflies. she bites her lip and wait for you to stop chewing. “Let’s talk about you”
“What about me?” you ask her before taking another sip of coffee
“Did you not eat breakfast this morning? You need to take better care of yourself” she bites into her blueberry muffin with frantic bites, and blueberry filling smeared on her cheek like a child. Did she always eat like this or was it just because of the high? “It seems like I’m not the only one that skipped a proper meal this morning” she replies back with her mouth full, and she had the nerve to talk about your manners? hypocrite.
“Aww you’re worried about me? how adorable, how about next time you come make me breakfast instead? I’m thinking a breakfast in bed type of thing, you of course would be naked, what do you think?” you narrow your eyes and watch with a look of disgust, was she always this horny and straightforward with every victim that falls to their knees for her? or was she only this way around you? it’s also not helping the sickness in your stomach with the way she’s shoving the baked good into her mouth.
"Do you always eat things this sloppy?" you nod your head in her direction
Wanda stops mid bite and deviously smirks at you
"Would you like to find out?" she giggles when you’re visibly caught off guard by another sexual charged comment. She thinks this is funny, was this a game to her? Wanda dips her head low to catch your eye "But to answer your question yes, if I'm hungry enough for it my only focus would be craving my hunger"
"My only focus would be on what I'm eating and completely devouring it, down to there’s nothing left"
"Like this muffin, it's my favorite and I love blueberries." she takes the last piece of the muffin and sticks her finger in the middle of it. she pops it into her mouth and chews the last piece.
"Would you like a taste?" holding her finger out in front of you. when you don't answer her, she brings her finger back up to her mouth and sucks the remaining blueberry filling from her finger while remaining eye contact with you. wanting to play with you some more she lets out a soft moan while releasing her index finger from her lips. you can't look away no matter how hard you try, the ache in between your legs grows stronger and stronger each second you spend staring at her.
While you’re lost in thought Wanda takes the opportunity to lean forward “Open your mouth” she smirks finding enjoyment in the way you slightly part your lips for her, she’s not even sure you’re aware of what your body is doing on its own.
“There you are Y/n!” You finally get the will to look away from Wanda when your eyes land on the person you were waiting on.
You let out a breath of relief “About time Daisy, I thought you ditched me”
“Never, I got a little carried away in coding class, but it looks like you have company” she looks down at Wanda.
“Johnson”
“Maximoff”
Feeling some sort of tension, you start gathering your things breaking both of them out of the staring contest they found themselves in. no longer wanting to stay here you need to get fresh air dealing with Wanda was a lot to handle.
“Let’s just go to yours Daisy” The two of you exchange smiles for a moment, something was going on and Wanda was definitely getting to the bottom of it. she thinks of different ways she can get Daisy away from you if her intentions are to steal you away from her. Yes, you were Wanda’s even if you didn’t know it yet.
“I’m cool with that let me go to the restroom and we can go” you nod as she walks away. Wanda watches Daisy’s figure disappear around the corner to the restroom before she speaks again. clinching her jaw, you can tell she’s annoyed about Daisy.  “What’s that about?”
You know what she’s talking about, but you play dumb anyway, why is it any of her business who you were seen with? “What?”
Her voice rises in volume slightly the more you continue this conversation “You and Johnson”
“Not that it’s any of your business demon spawn but we’re hanging out” demon spawn? Wanda thought of herself as an angel, no one’s ever called her that before at least not to her face. Was she insulted by it? yes, but did it also turn her on? yes. she loves how you’re not afraid to speak your mind when it comes to her. part of her mind goes to having the pleasure of taming you and your mouth when she finally gets you to her bed.
“Is that all she’s doing?” She grips the table with so much force the veins in her hands are on the verge of breaking through her skin. You give her a questioning look as you notice her hands; she follows your gaze and relaxes her hold on the marble table. when it’s clear you won’t answer her question, she tries to steer the conversation back to a lighter mood.
"I enjoyed our breakfast date, maybe we can get dinner next time" you don’t reply, and you wonder what’s taking Daisy so long turning your head toward the restroom door, before you can move any further away from the table Wanda grabs your hand. When did she get closer to you and how did you not hear her? She grabs her muffin bag and holds it out to you.
“Here take it, I have a feeling you’ll really like it” She smiles while you only stare at her outreached hand holding the bag, until her patience runs thin. with her free hand pulling you closer to her with much force you didn’t know she possessed.
“I said take. the. muffin. detka.” you grab the bag and start retreating away from her before she grabs you again. Her voice lowers a few octaves, while looking at you intensely. “No goodbye kiss?” The way she could be so demanding and dominant and then switch to being soft and bubbly scared you. In that moment you thank the heavens for Daisy finally returning, you don’t know what Wanda would’ve done after you rejected her and you don’t want to find out. “Bye, Maximoff” you remove your hand from her iron grip and make a bee line for Daisy and the front door.
As you exit the coffee shop all Wanda can think about is how she loved the effect she had on you and all she did was eat a muffin. the number of things and ideas that pop up in her head about what she wants to do to you, how she wants to play with you, how she wants you making cute uncontrollable noises under her, and because of her; has her internally leaping with excitement.

Yelena: OK,Kate! Thanks to you,we're already an hour late to Tony's party! So when they interrogate us.
Y/N: which they like to do....!
Yelena: keep your awnsers short and sweet!
Kate: Yelena,Y/N I know how to handle this, I was pre-law.
Officer: OK, girls, let's start at the beginning. Where are you from?
Yelena: Manhattan.
Kate: Well,not exactly!
Yelena: Next Question!
Officer: let's hear what your friend has to say.
Kate: Actually,we come from the Avengers Tower. In fact I used to live two streets down from where the Avengers fought Ultron.
Officer: And where were you headed to?
Y/N: A party! Next Question?
Kate: Not just any party! A party held in the grand Hall owned by Tony Stark who is holding the party for us as we are know the newst members of the Avengers and he is also the owner of the Car we were driving.
Yelena and Y/N look at each other and shake there heads.
Officer: oh,he is,is he?Then why didn't HE drive it to the function?
Kate: because His wife flew everybody there in there new jet!
Yelena puts her hand over her eyes in annoyce and Y/N shakes her head.
Officer: OK,Ladies We've had alot of car thefts in the area lately. You wanna talk about it?
Kate: OK,I think it's terrible!
Officer: you making fun of me,kid?
Kate: Well, you're the one who wanted to talk about it! Frankly,I think it's a matter for the police to handle!
Yelen looks at Kate with a very annoyed look.
Yelena: Kate you twit, they're handling it NOW!
Kate screws up her face at yelena.
Kate: what on earth are you talking about?
Y/N: Kate they think we stole the benz.
Kate stands up.
Kate: Officers, let me call Tony stark. He's the owner of the car and he will straighten all this out.
Officer: Sure! And while you're at it,give Scarlet witch and Captain America a ring-a-ding-ding!
(Meanwhile at the party the phone rings and pepper awnsers it)
Pepper: Hello?
Kate: may I speak with Natasha Romanoff?
Pepper: off? Is the power getting switched off?
Kate: No, I said Natasha Romanoff! Can I speak with her?
Pepper: I don't see her! She must have stepped out. Can you call back later?
Kate: No!
Y/N takes the phone off of Kate and speaks.
Y/N: is Tony Stark there?
Pepper: yes this is Pepper Stark!
Y/N: hi pepper it's Y/N Belova, Natasha's little Sister.
Pepper: oh,Y/N,how are you?
Y/N: Pepper you've gotta get a message to my sister, it's very important. We're in Jail!
Pepper: Yale? Well that's great! Oh, I've gotta go now, see you when you arrive!
Pepper hangs up the phone
(Meanwhile back at police custody)
Y/N looks at the phone then at a worried yelena.
(Also back at the party)
Pepper walks over to Natasha who is speaking with Clint.
Pepper: Oh, Natasha, Y/N just called.
Natasha know has a worried look.
Natasha: is everything all right?
Pepper: Oh I should say so. She got into yale!
Natasha screws up her face as pepper walks away she turns to Clint.
Natasha: that Can't be possible Y/N is only 16 and never had a proper education because she was raised in the red room with me and Yelena so she wouldn't have the Qualifications to apply for Yale.
Clint shrugs.
Clint: you know pepper once she has one go many she can mishear things.
Both shrug it off.
(Back at the holding at the police station)
Yelena: hey Big mouth,I still have a phone call to make.
Yelena starts to diel a number.
(Meanwhile back at the party)
Peter: Hello this is Peter Parker.
Yelena: hey Spider-boy? This is yelena , look I need a favour.
Peter: I'm tired of doing favors for you all they do is get me into trouble with Mr Stark I've only recently got out of the dog house with him and I don't wanna go back in it so whatever it is forget it.
(Back at the police station)
Yelena looks at the phone.
Yelena: hey,I need another Phone call, Spider-Man hung up on me!
The officers look at yelena like she is nuts.
Officer: OK,Ladies, you wanna talk about those other car theafts?
All three looked at each other then awnserd in sync.
All three: NO?
Suddenly all three find there selves in a prison cell.
Kate: this is terrible! I've just joined the Avengers I'm gonna get kicked out before I even start, I won't get admitted back to Prinston,I won't be admitted to the Bar!
Kate sits down as Y/N shrugs to as she walks over to Kate is while her sister has sprolled out on the opposite bench .
Y/N: boohoo I won't either!
Y/N sits in between yelena's legs as yelena wraps an arm around her.
Y/N: The cops took my fake ID.
Kate looks at the two sisters
Kate: so are you fake sisters.
Yelena: No,unlike me and Natasha who are not blood sister. Me and Y/N are, when me and nat went back to live with melina and Alexi for another mission nat was 16 and I was 12 then Y/N joined us she was 7 then a few years later I found out my birth mother had another kid then sold her to drakov like she did me.
Kate nods as she watches in awe.
Kate: She looks like you....also is she single.
Yelena stares at Kate as she growls.
Yelena: wanna think about what you just asked before I kill you or we forget you said it and you find away out of this.
Kate nods when she finally has an idea and asks the police officers to get a camera crew.
(Back at the party a news report flashes on the screen)
Reporter: we interrupted this game for a report.
Gwen: this is Gwen Stacy of the news team at the downtown manhattan police station. The perpertrators of the recent car thefts in manhattan were arrested earlier.
Everyone looks at the TV and stopped what they were doing.
Gwen: the ringleader agreed to confess, only if a camera crew were present,to broadcast live. This is a news exclusive.
Suddenly Kate appeared on screen looking all crazy.
Kate: yeah, we done it!
Everyone's mouth hangs open as they continue to watch.
Kate: word to big bird! We stole eight benzinos,16 jags, and a maserati! But I ain't liked to upholsterery,so I took it back.......JACK!
Gwen walks down to the next person.
Gwen: uh...do you have anything to say?
Suddenly yelena appears her arms handing over the cell bars a pissed off look on her face as she slowly shakes her head.
Yelena: nope,Note a Damn thing because I don't wanna be associated with her....I don't know who she is.
Gwen walks to the final person who has there hands covering there face.
Gwen: and What about you.
Slowly Y/N pulls her hands down and let's out a scared and Sad.
Y/N: Natashaaaaaa!
Clint and Nat look at each other as they head to the police station.
About an hour later Natasha , Tony , Pepper and Clint walk in.
Yelena and Y/N: Nat!
Kate: Clint!
Natasha walks over to the police officers.
Natasha: who is in Charge here?
Officer: I am.
Natasha: let those kids out!
Officer: look lady, those three confessed case closed.
Natasha: No, That idiot Confessed.
Natasha points to Kate.
Natasha: those two didn't so you can keep that one but give me those two.
Kate: HEY!!!
Yelena and Y/N laugh.
Suddenly Tony walks in and the officers are starstruck.
Tony: hey girls, thanks for looking after my car for me. So Officers would you please let them go and I will give both of you a Stark high tech watch for your troubles.
The officers nod and let them out Y/N runs to nat while Yelena turns to Kate before she can walk out of the cell Yelena closes it.
Yelena: so Bishop you get to spend a night in jail since you did....confess to the car thefts and asking a 16 year old minor if she was single.....
Yelena laughs as she walks off getting revenge for Kate asking her sister out.....
Kate: HEY!!!! GUYS, HELLO WAIT COME BACK!!!!HAWKEYE..
After a minute Kate goes to turn around when an arrow hits the cell door and it opens as Clint pops his head in.
Clint: Come on you pain in the ass!
Kate runs out as both catch up to the rest as the rest of the night is chilled over pizza and telling the unbelievable story of 2 blondes and a brunette and car thefts.
