'Hamlet was friends with Ophelia' this. 'Hamlet was friends with Laertes' that. Consider:

Hamlet was friends with Polonius.

Hear me out:

1: Both theatre kids. Enough said.

2: Apart from Horatio, Polonius is the character most capable of sustaining conversations with Hamlet. He takes Hamlet's insults in stride. He has not just one, but multiple extended conversations with Hamlet. Hamlet displays aggravation towards Gertrude and Claudius, while Polonius displays aggravation towards Laertes and Ophelia...but the two seem strangely calm, almost exasperated, around each other. Granted, the origins of Polonius's attitude is probably because he is socially inferior to Hamlet and because he wants to appeal to Hamlet to reveal 'secrets'...but Hamlet definitely appreciates a conversation partner that can endure him, if not keep up with him, and why wouldn't Polonius return that sentiment?

3: They also both speak numerous asides. It shows that they have a shared tendency to comment on people behind their backs (which is corroborated by other aspects of the play, of course), and this indicates that there is a nonzero chance that they have gossiped together.

4: Ophelia approached Polonius about Hamlet's madness. Consider:

-Ophelia seems to be distressed and concerned about Hamlet when she approaches Polonius.

-Ophelia knows that Polonius is overprotective, yet still approached Polonius about Hamlet, expressing her concern (as in Hamlet looking 'piteous', 'as if he had been loosed out of Hell') specifically.

The implication here is that Ophelia appears to believe that Polonius won't try to actively harm Hamlet, but might rather help him, or at least prevent Hamlet from getting worse. And why would Polonius want to help Hamlet? You know the drill.

5: We get a lot of ambiguity about Hamlet's madness throughout the play. However, we mostly agree that sending R&G, unwitting coconspirators in a murder plot, to die in his place, was a move no sane person would do. We can also agree that at least some of Hamlet's 'madness' early on was feigned.

Consider that the death of Polonius was what drove Hamlet truly mad. It matches up with the timeline that Hamlet started being truly mad just before the R&G death-sentence while being at least somewhat sane earlier.

And why would killing Polonius drive Hamlet over the edge? Apart from the general shock of murder, finding out you accidentally killed a long-time friend would definitely be enough to drive anyone over the edge.

6. They both like surveillance. One more shared hobby.

7. As I've outlined in my Polonius and Gertrude are foils post, Polonius appears to be too concerned as a parent while Gertrude appears to be too unconcerned, and Hamlet is greatly dissatisfied with Gertrude's attitude. By extension, then, Hamlet would probably respect Polonius's "engagement" better compared to Gertrude's "detachment", and this might draw them together.

8. Speaking about Gertrude! Hamlet and Polonius are the only two characters in the play who have expressed explicit, strong dissent in-person against Gertrude specifically. Combining with point 3, ranting about Gertrude could have been an excellent bonding activity for them.

Of course, I like this headcanon because it makes the story more tragic. But I have an additional reason:

-Were Hamlet once friends with Polonius, Hamlet's killing of Polonius would be a betrayal of that friendship. This adds an additional layer of meaning when Laertes talks about 'honour' in the final scene.

And finally, all this also indicates that Hamlet and Polonius are foils (differences despite similarity). I am too tired to analyse this further but. Yeah I think we get the gist.

been thinking up a dumb cute lil bbrae college au where for whatever reason, they end up stuck doing volunteer work together watching/hanging out with some kids (melvin timmy and teether obv) and its like. "enemies" (but not really) to friends to lovers u know..... u know......?

believe it or not, jjk is like one of the roles that had them cast together

both of them usually like to play different roles in different shows because they just don't want to be known as each other's twins

love that for them, they're so real for that

but when they were cast, they accepted it since the script and plot were interesting

yuuji is a sweetheart inside out and sukuna is the quieter one between the two, sukuna is soft for his brother though so don't get fooled by his tough persona

yes, he is the older twin LOL and always holds it against yuuji just to be petty

"dude can you get me that can of soda?""why are you ordering your older brother around? have some shame"

yuuji just rolls his eyes but before he gets up and get it himself, sukuna will wordlessly stands up and does it anyway

checks on yuuji whenever he does intense fight scenes

both of them do the stunt themselves since they ate both so physically active

education wise, yuuji graduated as a marketing major and sukuna has a degree in physical therapy

which explains why him and his brother always practice fight scenes together and he helps yuuji with his stance and warm ups!

it's adorable really and he's so tsundere about it too

"no not like that, put your legs this way dumbass" like that typa stuff

sukuna started off as a model but was later on casted because casting agencies thought he has that great villain face

yuuji started off as a side character and really likes acting (he is the theatre kid between the two and sukuna is the quiz bee kid, their mom is BOOKED and busy) and later on recognized because he's just THAT good

yuuji is usually a romance lead or 2nd lead and a slice-of-life guy so when fans found out he will be in an action show, they are excited!

sukuna on the other hand has been casted as a tsundere in romance shows, sometimes a bully and an antagonist in action shows, but a villain that is literally so powerful??? that is so new so his fans are anticipating

both of them usually arrive on the set together (sukuna is the one driving btw and yuuji just sleeps during the trip)

yuuji prepares both of their bento boxes btw

sukuna loves it

he can cook, but that's it LMAO

he won't admit it but yuuji is the better cook

lowkey a picky eater so yeah

ACTOR!SUKUNA HEADCANONS:

sukuna is the intimidating one (obv) so when him and the other casts first met + the first few readings, it was sooo awkward

turns out he's lowkey a goofy guy

has fun with his costars and helps them with fight scenes too, gotta put that physical therapy degree into good use

both him and nanami have this silent bond because whenever they're together they just don't talk and bask in the silence as they sit, they just peace amidst their crazy schedule

also an avid toji fan so when this guy found out he's in the same show with his idol he's almost shitting bricks

let out a really loud cheer when he found out and only yuuji knew about it LOL

has a deep-rooted respect towards him and it's sooo obvious whenever toji is around

he is such a fucking fangirl

he just thinks he's so badass and feels so honored to be casted in the same show as him

feels bad that he has to beat up almost everyone 😭 he is also a sweetheart deep inside

deep inside, he's such a caring and protective brother for yuuji because even though he doesn't have any scenes to be filmed, he still joins him on set whenever time allows him

he may not show it but he's sometimes lowkey terrified about fans tearing him up into shreds whenever he kills their favorite character

imagine sukuna dripping big sweats by the time THAT episode with [redacted] aired oh my GOD he was so fucking nervous considering their fanbase is so big

yuuji has never seen his brother THIS nervous before and he's enjoying it

luckily though, not much hate happened and most of the time it's just memes and playful banter

his ass is barely on social media LOL

in the years of his instagram existing he only has like 90+ posts or even below 😭 usually it's just promotion, being an ambassador, magazine shoots— very lowkey

doesn't have much digital footprint and i love that for him

whenever he posts, his fans are EATING IT UP since it happens every once in a blue moon lmfao

ACTOR!SUKUNA AS YOUR PARTNER:

as tough as he looks, he actually can be quite clingy, just behind closed doors though

lowkey feels bad when he has to beat up children (LMAO) and his co-actors and asks for cuddles from you for comfort

it's actually kind of adorable

sometimes if his schedule doesn't allow him to have time to visit you, you'll get messages like "babe i just beat up megumi :("

since he's not active on social media, he knows some stuff online through you or yuuji

kind of a sad reason why he doesn't go online as much is because as tough as he looks, he's just a guy scared of the hate he's going to have just because he plays a villain or antagonist most of the time

he knows it's not his fault, he just knows that some people just don't know how to separate reality from acting

especially when that scene where he had to off a certain jujutsu sorcerer actor with a huge fanbase

oh boy was he so fucking scared and ran into your arms for comfort :(

he's a softie deep inside ok

when they have to go out of town or even overseas to film, he gets incredibly homesick and misses you so much

expect a lot of "i miss you" messages, including selfies and candid pictures that he took around the set to

practicing his lines with you is close to impossible, this guy gets all blushy and shit because you're in front of him

and since most of his lines are mean as hell, he just doesn't want to be mean to you

he wants to impress you so bad but when you're around he just becomes a little high school boy with a big crush LMAO

he's such a sweetheart deep inside oh my god

when he decides he wants to post a new photo in his ig, you're the first and only person he'll ask for opinions

so this just means that most, if not all of his posts were handpicked by you

wears your matching stuff like accessories on set and gets sad when he has to take it off while filming

when he learned that his character would have face tattoos, the first thing he did was come home to you with his face makeup on (he had to ask his makeup artist to let it stay) and imitate it on your face

i have this headcanon that sukuna knows how to draw (and is very good at it) so it takes almost no effort to draw the tattoos on your face

you two then have a mini photoshoot (aka just taking a lot of selfies) with the both of you with sukuna marks on the face

it looks so cute that he made it his lock screen

he's lowkey such a sap don't let the character he's playing fool you

ACTOR!YUUJI HEADCANONS:

THE MAN THE MYTH THE BABY

he is literally a sunshine in or out of acting

so polite and so kind it's hard to hate him (not that he is even worth hating on)

so naturally, everyone on set loves to work with him!

unlike his brother, before acting, he doesn't really know a lot of fighting stance (he's a marketing major ffs lol) BUT ever since he was casted, he doubled up on his working out routine with the help of sukuna

even invested his time learning boxing which later on paid soooo much

can literally make everyone on set "aww" whenever his script requires him so cry or even witness a gruesome death scene *cough* nanami and nobara *cough*

during breaks, him and nobara do tiktok challenges and even those kpop challenges all the time and the crew enjoys watching them do it and the fans like it too

he does it too with choso and todo

this guy literally has 3 older brothers who are protective of him it's so cute

this man is so talented, he can cook, sing, dance, act, and is pretty smart too during his university days, it's so hard not to be in love with him

the greenest of the green flags (just like nanamin!) the girls the guys the folks LOVE him so much, literally the standard

just like sukuna, he was fangirling so hard when he found out he's going to be in the same drama with THE nanami kento

he's such a big big BIG fan

has a fan account of him on twitter that is pretty popular but you didn't hear that from me

it's so cute when they're together because they're literally THE father and son duo EVER

has the time of his life whenever he visits nanami and his wife's house and just chill there, sometimes brings his first-year trio besties too (both nanami and his wife don't mind at all)

aside from sukuna, he sometimes practices fight scenes with nanami too!

he is so active on social media 😭 interacts with as many fans as he can and posts all the time on ig and twitter

has a lot of cute interactions with fans too

by extension, his account is sukuna's behind the scene account LOL

since his brother doesn't post a lot, sukuna's fans tune in to his posts and stories of sukuna behind the scenes or even just some pictures of him that he doesn't post

some of it are just pics of the brothers chilling or going out

yuuji is literally the sukuna fan's saint because of the amount of sukuna content he's giving them LOL

ok but don't get fooled by yuuji's sunshine personality, because he knows how to bite too

whenever he saw hate tweets his brother is getting for playing a villain, he is quick to respond and defend his brother

lowkey a nightmare for the PR team but they know where he's coming from

and despite sukuna telling him to just ignore it, he appreciates his little brother more than anything

ACTOR!YUUJI AS YOUR PARTNER:

one word: ANGEL

he's literally so lover coded oh my goodness

leaves you some post-it notes on the fridge every single day before he leaves to film

if the trip goes on for days he will leave at least three long love letters for you to read when you miss him and he's busy

creates personal vlogs JUST FOR YOU so if the both of you can't facetime, you'll still know what he is up to

when he was contacted to be the main character of the show, he confided in you whether or not he should accept the offer

don't get him wrong, he is beyond grateful the people think he's capable enough to be the main lead but it makes him nervous

this is his first main character role and the pressure of it all is heavy on his shoulders

he asked for his brother's opinion too but he trusts you enough to talk about his feelings regarding this

of course, when you said that you'll be there with him in every step and support him all the time and do everything to keep the communication between the two of you going despite his soon-to-be hectic schedule, his heart is finally set on accepting the role

you are so proud of him! your baby finally getting the recognition he deserves? hell yeah

his busy schedule was never a barrier between the two of you, yuuji never forgets to update and call you whenever his time permits and he always appreciates every cheer you have given him

type of actor boyfie to show you off his social media platform!

his fans find it quite adorable and is in love with your whole relationship

ive spent a stupid amount of time recently thinking about a rottmnt au where circumstances allow splinter to figure out a way to get cloaking 'brooches' for himself and his children when they are still lil, giving him a chance to raise them as 'normal' kids. (normal kids who are genetically engineered mutant turtles, actually, and they're, like, SO good at sports, dude.)

surely nothing can break this idyllic illusion of a life that splinter has built. definitely nothing that rhymes with daron braxum.

i can only imagine this would work if the threat of both draxum and big mama were neutralized. i think in this universe, draxum's life of crime caught up to him much sooner than it does in canon, and he's imprisoned for his unethical experimentation when the turtles are still little-- raph maybe around six or seven, mikey around four or five. once splinter learns of this, he pulls every string he possibly can to 1) get cloaking crystals for himself and his family 2) cut a deal with big mama to ensure his children's safety.

after spending about a week or two in the sewers fucking drilling the cover story into the children's heads ("remember, mikey, what do you do if people start asking you too many questions?" "CRY!" "good boy!") he very nervously brings them up to the surface, armed with an elaborate story to explain his disappearance and new children and a shitton of forged documents. there was so much fucking paperwork, christ. (also, it turns out the blue one is biologically female? but he does not have the mental space to deal with that so they all just keep calling him leo, and he's totally fine with that. so.)

and he collects ALLLLLLL the royalties, babey.

(the kids are kids, and definitely slip up occasionally or do... weird shit. but, luckily, since they're small children, people pretty much just chalk it up as "oh, these kids have such wild imaginations.")

eventually, enough time passes that the brothers just kinda... forget that they were ever actually turtle mutants who lived in the sewers. coz, like, that's crazy, right? they're pretty sure they just imagined all that stuff. they weren't turtles, they were PRETENDING to be turtles... and people give them weird looks sometimes when they bring it up, so they don't.

overall, they THRIVE on the surface, to no one's surprise. they are, in fact, secretly genetically engineered super soldiers, actually. and they are crazy good at, like. so many things. especially martial arts! they compete at a national level on the regular, in addition to a shit ton of other extracurriculars (ballet, art, basketball, and cooking for mikey, swimming, basketball, gymnastics, and theatre for leo, dance, gymnastics, and swimming for donnie, not even to mention all his academic stuff, basketball, wrestling, and swimming for raph...)

they're still besties with april, obvs.

Harvey's photoshoot with Mike Ruiz for Photobook Magazine has been published, along with a short interview covering his career and ambitions! Read a few of his responses below:

You have become somewhat of a trailblazer for what is possible for queer, Latinx actors. Who are your biggest role models and inspirations when it comes to performing? My on-screen role models were pretty limited. I found inspiration in watching Cantinflas, a Latino comedian, with my dad. Watching people like Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas represent Latinos on the big screen helped keep me hopeful. I’m happy to report that I’ve worked with both of them. From “What We Do in the Shadows,” to “The Magicians,” there is a slight recurring theme of supernatural or fantasy. What draws you to these types of projects and roles? In both 'The Magicians' and 'Shadows,' anything is possible. I love the idea that there are no limitations on where our characters can go, so I’ve always been drawn to that. I was never specifically seeking to be in these particular genres, but I’m so happy to be a part of them. In addition to on the screen, you have an extensive portfolio of voice acting credits. How does working behind a microphone compare to working on the camera? Doing voice-over has been such a wonderful experience. I didn’t really start doing V.O. work until the pandemic. It’s a tough door to get through. The pandemic brought these opportunities to me. It was the only work that I was able to do safely at the time. Since then, my portfolio has doubled in voice-over work. All the characters I get to play are so different from each other. I get so excited when people come up to me and mention they're fans of a character I voice. Either voice acting, on camera, or on the stage, are there any dream roles you would love to play? As a musical theatre kid, I’d obviously love to do Broadway. I’d also really love to host SNL one day. In addition to acting, you're also involved in advocacy work, particularly in the LGBTQ+ field. What inspires you to use your voice and platform for good? I try to use my platform to help anyone that I can, especially those in the LGBTQ+ and Latino community. For so long, I didn’t see anyone advocating for someone like me so I do the best I can to amplify their voices while bringing awareness to those communities. With “What We Do in the Shadows” heading into its sixth and final season, what’s next for you? Anything fans should look forward to? We’re about to wrap in two weeks from the time this interview is published. That being said, it’s bittersweet. We recently said goodbye to our exterior set, and it was really emotional. I committed to this character for half a decade, which is no small task. It’s become such a big part of my life, and I’m thankful for all the lives we’ve touched through comedy. Season 6 will air later this year. I’ll have projects like “Companion” and “Garfield” out this year as well as a couple others. I’m excited to see what’s next!

You sat with Julia in the stands while Max stayed with Finn for as long as he could, preparing his kart and taking him to the starting grid spot, "Do you think Finn is going to win, mama?", Julia looked up at you, "I don't know, love, but we can hope he will", you smiled, pulling her closer to you in a hug.

Every time Finn overtook another kid, you hissed slightly, sighing when he was safely racing again, "my uterus doing such an incredible job at making that perfect boy and then he goes and does this", you muttered to yourself half jokingly, understanding the risks but also enjoying how happy he was that you had allowed him to do that, knowing how safe it was too.

Finn finished P3 after getting overtaken in the last lap, Max clapping for him in the front row before everyone dispersed out, you and Julia walking closer to your boys, "you did very well, love, I'm very proud of you!", you said as you kissed Finn's head.

"I only got P3", he pouted as they walked until Max stopped you all, crouching down and facing Finn, "you did the best you could, buddy, and that's all that matters. Mama is proud of you, I'm proud of you, so much, Julia is proud of you, right?", he asked as Julia walked up to Finn, giving him a big hug, "I am, you're my favourite driver!", she said as she pressed a sloppy kiss to his cheek.

"And the baby in mama's tummy is also very proud, aren't you baby?", Max pretended to ask your bump, placing his ear in the swell of your tummy and waiting enough for the answer, "baby says they're very proud of their big brother Finn!", Max exclaimed as Finn let out a smile.

"Let's go and have some ice cream", Max suggested as you walked back to the car, "Oh, look at that! Baby also says yes to those plans!", you giggled.

"Do you have the flowers, Finn?", you asked as you walked into the theatre, finding your seats, you and Max letting Finn sit between you as he held the small bunch of flowers. For anyone, it would seem a little extra, but you couldn't be prouder of your little girl and the three of you wanted to show her that much.

"When is she going to be on the stage?", Max said as he checked the program, "her class is the second one", you pointed. When your little girl stepped on stage with her friends, the little dance they did was sweet and very well executed for a group of four year olds. Max clapped and whistled when they finished their act as Finn waved at his sister, you opting to sit down and clap since the baby had been giving you a hard time today.

"Are you good, mama?", Finn asked, "yes, love, just a little tired. Julia did really well, didn't she?", you smiled. When the kids were allowed to go back to their parents, Julia hugged you tightly first, kissing your baby bump before she hugged Max and then Finn, "these are for you, Julia, you did so well!", he complimented as he handed her the flowers.

"Yes, you did! You were the most skilled and most beautiful ballerina out there!", Max smiled as she asked to be picked up by him, the adrenaline fading out as you walked to the car, your husband insisting he also carried Julia's bag.

"They're both asleep", you cooed as you looked into the rearview mirror, Max smiling as he brought his hand to your bump, "this one isn't", he chuckled, "this little girl is not having it", you smiled, "she still wants to party".

✨ Bruce Wayne Headcanons that haunt me but I refuse to elaborate on even if they're utterly wrong ✨

1. Bruce can cook, but only when he's 100% focused. If there is anything going on around him like a feral child or he's going over some case in his head then something's catching fire.

2. He definitely was a theatre kid for the shortest span when a teenager. Have you met this man? Are you telling me he's never engaged in a single drama piece in his life? He was raised by literal-Shakespeare-actor Alfred pennyworth? My man Bruce can ACT. All his personas rely on it. So does his undercover work. I like to think he was in a amateur Shakespeare production one time just to surprise and make Alfred happy.

3. Tying in with the acting - Bruce is a master of disguise. With all the languages he speaks, identity shenanigans, cases that need inside info. Bruce can just morph into another person. But his abilities in disguise also means he can mimic people's mannerisms and accents easily. The idea of Bruce confusing the shit out of Clark by just perfectly emulating his country accent and then pretending nothing happened tickles me very much.

4. This idiot tilts his head ever so slightly like a confused dog when being bamboozled. Only People who know him closely recognise this but it's such a minute movement it's easy to miss. Any confusing story, perplexing stupidity or a little sprinkle of disbelief - boom head tilt. God help you if you get the head tilt and batglare combined. You've said the most ungodly, sinful, idiotic, offensive, seizure-inducing idea known to man.

5. He and Diana 100% gossip in other languages when on the watchtower . Both are polylinguals. It's also a learning space. Diana 100% teaches him Ancient Greek, Latin and forgotten languages while Bruce 100% teaches her alien dialects he's mastered.

6. My guy can sing. Ever since that silly lil' justice league episode I can't get this silly lil' headcanon out my head and it makes my lil' toesies curl. Gotham, though a hell scape, is a melting pot of culture and music. Opera, jazz, blues but also a strong underground Punk and techno scene. You'd be hard pressed to avoid music in Gotham. My guy just learned to sing through osmosis. Only a small handful of people know he can sing, though none have admitted that to Bruce.

7. Since this man is a sponge of knowledge, he just drops some of the most jaw-dropping, disturbing and unprompted facts then refuses to elaborate. Oliver Queen is just enjoying his ham sandwich only for "You know studies about cannibals say that human meat tastes very similar to pork." and Oliver is just !?!?!?!!?. The batfam are watching The Matrix and Bruce suddenly "The codes in this film are actually just Sushi recipes." and everyone does a perfect slow swivel to face this engima of a man.

You know what would make that idea even better? If the reader was a theatre kid *cough* me *cough*. Like, just imagine the jock and cheerleader finding themselves obsessed with a theatre kid. Better yet, what if there’s an upcoming play and the reader gets the role as the love interest. Imagine if the jock and cheerleader auditioned for the lead role so they could be the reader’s love interest. Or what if they were just forced to witness the reader kiss someone else or something on opening night, or during practices (since they do seem to stalk the reader). they most definitely try to get to be the love interest in the play. they've never really cared much for theatre, but after finding out you were in it? suddenly they're big fans!

they try and talk the theatre director into letting them both be your love interest, but they'll be okay with it if just one of them are able to get the part. (most likely cheerleader) if neither of them gets the part, they're going to make sure whoever did get the part isn't going to be playing that roll. there is no way in hell they are going to let someone kiss you. it doesn't matter if it's just acting, you're theirs! nobody else should be putting their lips on you!

maybe, just maybe they'll still let that person play the part if they can talk to the director about just making it a hug scene or cutting that scene entirely. cheerleader does it, looking down at the ground and using his crocodile tears to persuade the director. "it's just- me and y/n are dating, and i just can't bear to see them kiss someone else! i know it's immature and jealous but i just love them so much .." and, well, your director feels too bad to say no when tears fill cheerleader's big doe eyes.

the only way them having to actual see you kiss someone else is if they are never made aware that there's a kiss part, which would be pretty hard to do.

i imagine them both sitting in their seats, jocks hand on cheerleader's thigh, cheerleader has his arms wrapped around jocks and his head on the others shoulder. they whisper excitedly to each other as they watch you act, praising you in every breath, and they actually do seem to be enjoying the show!

... but then that part happens. their smiles drop immediately. jocks fingers unknowingly dig into cheerleader's thigh, and cheerleader's nails dig into jocks arm.

they are beyond pissed off. they won't make a scene, they wouldn't damage their reputation like that, but they are both tense for the rest of the play.

once the play is over, either 1. cheerleader drags you back to his house while jock goes to take care of whoever it was that kissed you or 2. both go to take care of the person who kissed you!

they don't murder them, but they question the shit out of whoever kissed you. if this is before they've started talking to you it'd probably be number 2, and they'll just let it slide. they do make sure to tell that person that they really like you and they really don't like it when someone kisses you, and they probably shouldn't do that again. they also tell them not to mention this conversation to anyone, and let's just hope whoever that was is smart enough to listen.

if this is after they've talked to you, however .. that person is going to get the beating of their life. let's hope they also know better than to tell someone about the 'lesson' in this scenario as well.

a few nischa headcanons from my ever-growing list of them because i <3 them

noel is a massive theatre kid and since uranium is a very small town and st cassian is an even smaller school noel gets cast in like everything and mischa is always in the audience to every single one of his shows with a whole boutique of flowers each time

mischa taught noel a bit of ukrainian so they could communicate in mischa's native language

there are a lot of days when it's just the two of them (at mischa's house in his basement, in noel's bedroom, the choir room before or after their meetings, it depends) where they will just put on some music and dance with each other! they switch who gets to choose what music they dance to and noel usually either picks some slow, romantic song that may or may not be in french or songs from various musicals he likes (those come with a full performance from him too). when mischa picks, it is such a fucking wild card because he likes every single genre of music ever

they're so physically affectionate it's SICKENING they're constantly touching each other in some way and it's usually subtle but other times one will just be fully putting all of their weight on the other

frequent sleep overs! it's usually at mischa's house because he has a large basement and his parents generally don't care (which makes noel sad, so he always offers to hold the next sleep over at his house. mischa usually says it's fine but he does give in sometimes because noel's mom is very nice). they usually sleep right next to each other but both are so restless and they move around SO much. mischa has woken up with noel fully laying on top of him and noel has woken up with mischa's arm on his face

speaking of sleepovers i think mischa usually sleeps without a shirt on (he always asks noel if it's okay before he takes it off though, he doesn't want to make him uncomfortable ever and he would die if he did) and he's so WARM noel loves cuddling to him normally but especially when he's without a shirt because he's just very warm

matching jewelry. noel gets them matching necklaces like decently soon after they started dating and soon after mischa was DETERMINED to hand-make matching bracelets for the both of them and both of them silently agree to never take off either piece of jewelry

noel broke a bone in his arm once when he was a freshman and the first person he was like "...do you wanna sign my cast?" to was mischa. it was a messy signature but it meant a lot to noel, who had a VERY strong crush on him

Before pigsy and tang discover the monkeys identities, do they find out they are faking being in a relationship?

Pigsy and Tang honestly believe its a case of "We're broken up, but we're staying together for the kid", and they encourage Wukong and Macaque to reconsider.

Like they get them not to spend all their time together, and find aspects of life separate from eachother. Ex; theatre and history for Macaque, art and teaching for Wukong.

When Shadowpeach start showing geniune rekindling, they're cautiously supportive.

Then they find out (via either a random glamour fail, or a villain-of-the-week) that the two "lovesick kids" they've been guiding through relationship hurdles are actually immortal folk heros/demigods who have attempted/succeded in killing one another., and who have spent literaly centuries pining for one another

Tang immediately starts spluttering out of hero-worship/nerdiness, and later horror; cus now he realised that he's been having ice cream-and-tv hangouts with literal ancient warriors and has been argueing with them about the historial accuracy of Journey to the West.

Pigsy is shocked at first, but then he pretty much decides; "You may be 10x times older than me, but you're both still dumb kids who have a lot to learn about life. Now get back to work!" Secretly he was starting to see Wukong in a fatherly light and now he feels weird cus he still wants to guide him through life.

Sandy is awestruck by the sheer dedeication Shadowpeach shares and gets mushy thinking about the details, he's a big shipper. His pacifism helps teach Wukong greater patience, and how to accept imperfections, whilst also giving him and Macaque a non-judgemental ear to vent to. He's also the first one to start looking up midwifery classes when he discovers their identities, since he understands that Wukong and Macaque cant just show up at a mortal/demonic hospital for help.

Seven Evil Exes and Their Relationship with Ramona

continuation of this: scott pilgrim swap au but i can't draw

considering the fact Ramona made a comment that Matthew only became evil when he got into high school, meaning that Ramona still kept in touch with Matthew or Matthew was there in the same School with Lucas and Todd. So in this AU, Matthew and Ramona are still friends and basically are supposed to be Kim and Scott roles. Matthew becomes depressed but hides it well by making it seem like he's just being emo and overdramatic, cause you know, theatre kid

Lucas like I said before, was probably just going on with the other exes' evil plan thing and without the revenge thing, he basically got better for himself, making a name as an actor and getting strong. so in this AU, Lucas is basically Ramona's Wallace, kinda, he gives genuine advice coming from someone who worked to improve and get better for himself, But the moment he meets Scott, he vents and talks about how heartbroken and how hard it was when Ramona cheated on him

Envy had enough of Todd being a like a man-child and also being a douchebag, so She kicked him out. Todd in this AU is kinda like stephen but without the anxiety, he works to improve and explore himself, but that only starts to happen after Ramona remeets Gideon, because Todd really gets a reality check and also breaks down when Gideon belittles him

Roxy tries to do everything she can just so she can meet Ramona, like coincidentally having an art show in Toronto or passing by town, to me, Roxy is Ramona's version of envy Because after meeting with Scott and after a few weeks or so, Roxy snaps and tries to kill Scott

Since the Twins don't have much character, I'm just going to use @ken-katayanagi Headcanons, thank you for feeding the Katayanagi Twins fans for so long. Ken and Kyle have an estranged relationship because everyone assumes that since they're twins they basically are the same person, so they try to be as individual as possible but in doing so cause their relationship to be strained, it was only after Ramona dated both of them since in her mind it was just a fuck buddy situation but to the twins, they thought it was more

They reconcile and realise that they never truly knew eachother, so they swear to always have time for one another. They get over Ramone pretty quickly and after Ramona breaks up with Gideon, She calls them to get a drink but it's so she forgets about Gideon. In this AU, they're kind of like Julie, Stacey, and Wallace in two, they're aware of Ramona's flaws and call them out, they're not subtle or kind with it either, they bluntly say it. When they first meet Scott, Ken basically whispers for Scott to run, also have the best relationship with Scott, they provide alot about Ramona's past whenever Ramona tries to hide it and they genuinely care for Scott's wellbeing, while Scott was temporarily out of Sex Bob-Omb, he also temporarily joined the twins music career things

Gideon was already over Ramona when she left him, he isn't going to get her back for his harem, instead he just plays around, he only cryogenically freezes people he considers as partner material and people that genuinely interest him plus can deal with him, Ramona isn't suitable for his standards of a perfect girlfriend, so he didn't truly care when he saw ramona again

but he does insult and mock Ramona when he finds out that she's dating Scott, aka his lead bassist of the band he recently is working with (but also/probably plot twist scideon, cause i find that to be hilarious and fun to explore)

Theatre AU I'm tentatively calling Break A Leg!

In light of the recent info on how they used to be a theatre bot, this is a "what if the switch to daycare workers REALLY didn't work out" AU

So the boys' theatre was a popular attraction for both kids and adults. But eventually, the novelty of acting animatronics wore off and their shows got less popular, so management decided to take back the theater and make it into the glamrocks' new stage.

The plan was to repurpose the boys as daycare bots, but management didn't even have them reprogrammed before chucking them in the daycare, so of COURSE it was a disaster! Both boys had never interacted with humans directly, and their only point of reference was to treat this as yet another role, they don't know how to be their own people (yet) (Moon: So I'm the Naptime Attendant??.... And I always play a villain. So evil naptime attendant. Got it! >: ) ) Thinking of Moon ending up being too in character and rough and breaking someone's leg (hence the title djdj)

So the boys got shut down and put into storage (and mayhaps forgotten) for a while

Until an unwitting and expendable intern named y/n is hired to clean out/take inventory of the storage in parts and services, finds them, and accidently reactivates them.

Specifically, Moon.

They manage to survive the encounter by being an experienced dnd/LARP nerd (jdhsdj), because they use that to rule-lawyer and improv the scene to their advantage, and survive intact!

And management is like "Oh shit, we can make money out of this!!" And so the intern is tasked with rehabilitating them both to be safe enough around humans, and especially more kid friendly, and if they succeed, the boys will take over comedybot's theatre and do kids' shows, with them as their handler. Y/N only has until the end of their internship to accomplish this though, with a job and the boys' lives on the line!

So that's the mise en scène cjdnd

Their main problem right now is they don't know how to interact with humans! They were always on stage, or rehearsing (alone together) in their 'lodge', so they're in character 100% of the time

For Sun, that means projecting his voice and over-acting every single movement and emotion so it can be read from afar... Which is not ideal when it's just you two and he's within arm's reach. The only quiet persona he knows are the less confident, nervous support roles

As for Moon, well, he only knows how to terrify. And it doesn't help that management gave them STAFF bots as co-stars and props, and encouraged their destruction for the thrill and realism of a scene. He does still have the whole hook and cable system! But he wasn't security: he used it to rig the lights, speakers, moving props, etc on the grid above the stage. And for special effects like flying et on stage, of course!

Their costume change was part of the act --Every one of their costume has a reversible outer layer, so when they switch out, the pants change colors (you don't want them to take them off on stage..) And they spin their faceplate as it transforms while they take off their jacket/cloak/whatever, turns it over, and put it back on in one transformation

They would also sing duets by stepping in and out of a spotlight and mostly just transforming their faceplate, usually taking advantage of the clothes' inner lining to display one side/color or another

Now, though, they haven't been maintained in years, and so their colors are faded since they're meant to be retouched for every role, their pupils are missing, their favorite jacket is missing, and the gears in their faceplate that spun so smoothly is gunked up with debris, grinding clunkily

Which college majors you think that prsk charaters will have?there will be future events exploring that part of the future? Some character are easy to know which college major they will have like kohane with photography or with ena are sure that there will be a event where she decides if she wants to go to art university or not.but with others are more insecure, like what type of career outside of being a idol midori will what or what careers the rest of vbs will do????😭😭

i'm assuming that since MMJ moved onto the credit course, they'll do whatever the university equivalent of that is (or just not go to university) since they'll probably get even more idol work once they're adults and have less restrictions on their contracts. as for everyone else, it's hard to guess this far in advance since some characters might change their minds or find something that interests them much later on. but i'll write down some thoughts anyway.

shiho i imagine will do something music related, maybe there's a major where she could just do bass? honami previously mentioned that she wanted to be a caregiver, and even though she's going pro with L/n now I could see her doing something connected to that for university. Saki strikes me as the type of person who'd struggle to pick one, she'd probably find a lot of different courses interesting. I'm not too sure about Ichika, maybe something music related as well?

Like you said, I imagine photography is something that Kohane would take in uni. For Toya, maybe something music related, like composition? It goes well with his character arc, especially considering Walk on and on. As for Akito and An, I'm not so sure. Neither of them get outstanding grades, so I imagine neither of them will do something very academic. Maybe something in music or sports?

Nene and Tsukasa are definitely doing theatre, specifically acting. the question is if they study abroad (they've both noted their desire to travel abroad although we do not know if this applies to university). Rui i imagine will either do some sort of engineering course or technical theatre course if that's something that's available. Emu probably some sort of economics or business course since she's going into the family business and she's got the smarts for it. If not, iirc it's implied her sister does some sort of childcare course (she mentions working with kids in the Lion Dance New Year event), so maybe something like that.

Niigo is the biggest question of if they'll go to university. If they do, I think Ena will do art, but that's a more obvious one. Mafuyu, if she's in a fit enough state by this point, I reckon will do nursing. She's been realising that it was her dream before her mother trampled it now, but we'll see how things go. With Kanade, it depends on if she's in a fit state again. If not she'll probably continue with online school (i think this is more likely tbh but we'll see how things play out). Music composition for her obviously. Mizuki doesn't have the best track record with school, but I imagine they'll do fashion like their sister. Maybe even the same school, but that would require them to go abroad (they have Nightcord though).

The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet fucking rules

So, I haven't mentioned this here, but I genuinely do like Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. It's... deeply flawed for sure. The game is a buggy mess, the level scaling (or lack thereof) is atrocious, the way random encounters are handled fucking sucks with you running into shit constantly and it's just. not very challenging.

But it has a huge, huge plus that to me, makes up for all of that, and it's one that I'm strongly biased towards. Though... it's technically two: the plot, and the characters.

Now, Pokemon has never been bad at character design, really. The characters are always endearing and cool and whatnot. But besides some exceptions like N and Bianca, they're never all that interesting, at least to me. They're not much more than pleasant. But Scarlet & Violet has *great* characters, it's by far its strongest suit. The gym leaders aren't anything deep, but they do have such distinct and memorable personalities that they just... stick with you. Maybe it's recency bias, but I could tell you that Katy is a sweet old lady, Brassuis is a massive theatre kid, Iono is an energetic vtuber, Kofu is a goofy uncle, Larry is a depressed businessman, Ryme is... I guess a rapper, honestly Ryme isn't that interesting imo, Tulip has extremely bad vibes and I do not want to be near her, and Grusha is a jaded cynical twink with PTSD. These are all great!

And those are characters from the "bad" storyline, the one with little to no narrative merit! The Team Star storyline absolutely rules and is just, genuinely really good and the way it slowly unpacks an unflods the actual reality of what Team Star is and what happened with them is just, wonderful. I love the direction it goes in and the message it conveys. And the herba mystica storyline is! Okay! It's fine! People seem to love it but I just think it's kind of okay. I will say that Arven's storyline is general is great, but it only really reached that point when you get to Area Zero which is a whole other thing and is also just, great.

And the rivals, or rival-like characters, are fantastic. I especially love Nemona who is an austistic yandere icon (but only yandere in the Pokemon sense, where Pokemon battles are everything and are considered an almost intimate experience at times in Scarlet & Violet as a whole???)

Nemona is absolutely my favourite rival, or *was*, until the Teal Mask DLC came along and introduced two rivals that, ahem, rivaled her. Both are just massive, massive hits in my book, and... I want to talk about why, because they have been living rent-free in my head and the yare 2 of the 3 elements that make the Teal Mask DLC so great, the third being Ogerpon herself, which I will get to later.

OH BY THE WAY I WILL BE SPOILING THE TEAL MASK DLC SO IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN IT, DO NOT READ

So, the first notable rival is Carmine. And she definitely acts like a Pokemon rival in the classic, Gary / Silver, huge asshole kind of way. As soon as you meet her, she tells you to get the fuck out of her village and challenges you to a battle. She's kind of a dark Nemona in a sense, in that she takes the tsundere approach instead of the yandere approach. She totally doesn't love battling you or spending time with you or anything, obviously not! There is so much romantic tension between you and every single Scarlet & Violet rival and it fucking rules, especially since it manifests so differently for all 3 of them.

But... eventually, Carmen warms up to you, and you start getting along with her. She helps you out and becomes a reliable partner, and ends up having absolutely no qualms being friendly with you. The thing is, though... Carmen never stops being an asshole. She continues to be kind of a bitch throughout the entire story! She just becomes a bitch in a very endearing and likeable way, and directs that bitchiness in a productive, fun, and even helpful ways, and that's just wonderful. She's pretentious, quick to anger, looks down on everything and everyone, and I love her so fucking much

And then, there's Kieran, Carmen's litle brother and also my precious son. Kieran is kind of the opposite of Carmen. He doesn't seem like a rival at all. He's just a shy and nervous kid who clearly likes you a lot and wants to be friends and get along with you. Just a sweet little kid with anxiety! Extremely likeable, extremely endearing, you can't not love the kid

But then you learn he has a huge fixation with Ogerpon and other creatures that are demonized and treated as outcasts. Still endearing, but gives him a lot of depth! And, oh god, my boy has the BPD and he is absolutely FPing Ogerpon. He gets increasingly upset and incomfortable with you getting close to Ogerpon when he isn't able to, and starts sulking and running off, and man, I've been there. I know what it's like and I feel for Kieran so much.

This all comes to a head when you catch Ogerpon, and add her to your party, thus preventing Kieran from being close to the creature he loves and admires so much. After that, he starts to lose it, and becomes an extremely compelling rival who straddles the line between friend and antagonist. The cliffhanger ending suggests that he'll continue to spiral out of control for the next DLC and god, I am so here for it. I love his story arc so, so fucking much and I cannot wait to see what they do with it

And then, there's Ogerpon. Ogerpon is a precious little creature who was deeply wronged by the village, deomized and cast aside from the start. The mian antagonists of the arc, the Loyal 3, took advantage of her status as an outcast to kill her only friend and steal what was most precious to them, causing her to fight back, and be cast as the villain for centuries as a result. And. Fuck. I love Ogerpon so much. I love her story, I love the way it's resolved, I love how it ties into Kieran's character and the final fight against Ogerpon herself. I used to not know what to say when people told me what my favourite Pokemon is. Now, I know, and I'm so grateful fto the Teal Mask DLC for that.
